Different people have their own different fetishes. While some may be crazy about shoes, others may go drool over every new electronic gadget that hits the market. And then there are those who have a special corner for handbags! Be it a brightly colored tote or a chic clutch bag, they simply cannot resist the temptation. However, in these expensive times it is not entirely easy or economical to give in to every handbag-related desire. So what alternatives does an aspiring fashionista have? You will be glad to know... there are plenty! All that is needed is an eye for a good bargain and the will to scour all your nearest wholesalers for that perfect handbag you always wanted.

A great way to find best wholesale handbags in your locality is by word of mouth. There are chances that these wholesalers might not be promoting their ware to a great extent, so you must keep an eye out for discrete advertisements in your local newspaper and flyers in the supermarket. You can also do research on the Internet to locate wholesale stores that stock good quality handbags. The advantage of buying at wholesale shops is that the cost is usually much lesser than regular stores. They also have a huge variety and keep all kinds of bags, from vintage to the very latest collection. If you have the knack of bargaining, then you may end up getting a great deal. A lot of wholesale dealers also have their own websites and you can follow them to know what's new in the handbag world. It can be very convenient if they also have the facility of online shopping. You can shop from the convenience of your own home. But it is equally important to thoroughly research the wholesaler before making any purchases. Make sure you gather reviews about him and are sure about the authenticity.

All women love a gorgeous handbag. But the price tag attached to it can be a turn off at times. Luckily for all of you bag-loving girls out there, another trend to hit the market is of designer inspired handbags. As the name suggests, these are imitations of the high-end designer handbags and purses, and sell for probably one-tenth the price. They are highly affordable and can suit every person's budget. This is a great way to flaunt that latest Gucci or Prada handbag without having to spend your entire life's savings on it. Most craftsmen create impeccable imitations and it is impossible for a regular person to tell the difference from an original. So you can easily go ahead and buy five such bags and make a proud fashion statement without burning a hole in your pocket. There is also a huge online market that offers an amazing selection of superb quality imitation handbags. You can leisurely browse through entire collections and choose from a sea of designs ranging from quilted purses with chain shoulder straps to classy large leather satchels. There are enough choices to satisfy every woman's needs. So fret not and don't be afraid to go nuts over handbags!

Much to the delight of those who attended the annual Westminster Correspondents dinner, Prime Minister David Cameron made a joke out of his bald spot by saying that hiding it was his top priority for the year. The Prime Minister may see the humor in the situation, but some men tend to be more anxious about it. And one of the primary reasons is that it makes them look older. From the poorly disguised comb over that was infamously worn by Donald Trump, to more clever solutions, men suffering with hair loss do have options. Here are five ways to do it.

    Wigs

There is a marked improvement in the wig industry today making these hair pieces to be a reliable way to conceal hair loss. These are now made to look more realistic in terms of hairline and texture. One major benefit is that it is a quick and easy way to do the job. You just put it in place, adjust, fasten and you are good to go. However, it is not a permanent solution, so it migh be good to consider whether you'll find yourself constantly worrying about it.

    Get a hair cut

You might think that since you are already losing hair, getting a haircut may sound like the total antithesis to what you are aiming at. In an interview with Men's Health Magazine, Jeff Sacino, the head hairstylist for NBC's The West Wing, explained that men usually think that growing hair long is the way to go in covering bald spots. This may sound pretty logical but it is not absolutely true. Growing hair long will only cause it to separate emphasizing the empty spot on the scalp. A shorter hair, on the other hand, creates a feathering effect or a more textured look where one group of hair covers the next.

    Brave a tattoo

This is an option that may sting, but it is one that is actually promising in providing natural-looking results. Tattoos can be seen as art to some while others see it to be defiling the body, but it can be a clever way to disguise balding.

Scalp micro pigmentation is a procedure that is offered by cosmetic clinics where the scalp is tattooed with minute dots that match the surrounding hair color. This will look like stubble, and will somehow give the same effect as when you get a buzz cut. It does not hurt as much as regular tattoo and it can be a permanent solution.

    Hair Transplant

If you are one who is brave enough, or maybe have the money to spend for a more dramatic improvement, you can go for hair transplant surgery. It is best to consider this to be a final option, since this is a delicate and expensive procedure. Hair loss can progress; therefore, it is best to wait until it finally runs its course before you decide on having the surgery.

Hair transplant comes in two approaches, which are the FUT and FUE method. It is similar in a way that it involves the removal of donor hairs from the back of the head and then transplants these to the bald area. However, these techniques vary. FUT requires having to excise a strip of scalp, which contains the donor grafts, before these are individually removed using a high-powered microscope and then transplanted to the problem areas. FUE, on the other hand, is less invasive in that the hair grafts are directly removed from the scalp using a punching method creating a less distinctive scar. FUE creates a better aesthetic outcome, but it is more expensive since it requires more time and expertise to pull off.

A hair transplant is indeed a good way to conceal hair loss permanently, but this has to be done by a hair transplant surgeon who has the training, skills and certification to ensure that you are in good hands. It may take over a year to see final results, but when done correctly, the wait and money will definitely be worth it.

    Hair Fibers

Another new age solution for hair loss is the microscopic and electrostatically charged fibers that latch on to the hair creating that appearance of a thicker mane. For those unsightly blank spaces on your head, volumising hair fibers can be a quick and easy solution. All you need to do is to sprinkle these fibers on to your head, just like shaking some salt on to your meat.

It is very important that you follow instructions carefully to avoid putting on too much in one area or all over the scalp; otherwise it will only draw negative attention because it doesn't look natural. It may not be a permanent solution to cover up your bald patch, but it certainly does the job especially when special occasions call for a sleek do.

    Nifty Indices

Nifty ended the day in negative territory after the formation of two weekly bearish reversal candlestick patterns. This indicates that bulls are taking a breather again and Nifty is back to moving in a range. The new range for Nifty is 6665-6870 levels, which is derived from the following observations. One, wave 5 up is still extending and the current sideways movement is in its wave ii down. So till the low of 6665 is not broken the short-term bias shall remain up. Two, the Nifty has completed its wave 5 up and will bounce back in its wave B up of the recent correction. One more thing that we have observed is that on both the daily and the hourly chart the Nifty is raising in an upward sloping parallel channel. Till the channel holds the overall bias shall remain up.

Bank Nifty, however, managed to close in green which is quite bullish for the long traders in the short term. But the index has also reached the upper end of the triangular pattern; it needs to surpass the same in order to gain momentum. The daily Know Sure Thing (KST) has just come into buy mode which is an added advantage for bulls. The daily KST of the Nifty is still struggling as it remains in sell mode, though the prices are making new highs. This negative divergence is a worrisome factor for the bulls because this clearly depicts that the momentum is slackening as Nifty is inching upwards. This might lead to a sudden trend reversal. However, in technical research more weight age is given to prices. So till the prices don't reverse the trend shall remain up. This might also turn out to be a case for a reverse divergence wherein the prices shall move up slowly and the momentum shall return to buy mode slowly, generating strength in the ongoing trend. Hence, we maintain our bias up till the swing's low of 6665 holds or something more reliable forms

In the daily chart the index is trading above the Twenty-Daily moving averages (DMA) and the Forty-DMA, ie 6740 and 6600 correspondingly. The momentum pointer is trading in negative mode with negative deviation.

In the hourly chart, the Nse Nifty is trading above the Twenty-hourly moving average (HMA) and the Forty-HMA, ie 6789 and 6804 correspondingly, which are vital intra-day levels. The hourly impetus indicator encompass turned negative. The market duration was turned positive mode today with 740 advances and 736 declines on the National Stock Exchange.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

There is nothing happier for you to wear a dresses which only in the " special occasion " standing in front of a mirror. Whether it is for a four -year-old woman to attend a formal party , teenage girls want to dance or just want a stroll after dinner in the hallway inside the little girl like this. But no matter what age the person wearing such clothing , they need special care . After all, like velvet , tulle, organza or silk taffeta not so "everyday" fabric.

    Velvet

The most significant problem with this fabric is that it is very sensitive to water . It is made of rayon , silk, acetate fiber and cotton velvet. It is the most vulnerable to water , and therefore its resistance is very low. Need to consider the reasons for any type can cause wet - rain , perspiration or drink water stains - are likely to become its enemies . Moisture will stand up little fluff fabric overwhelming , if this is so small villi can not stand up, and the fabric can not be restored to its former appearance .

Some dry cleaner by steaming and grinding methods can make a small villi stand up again , silk velvet is the most responsive , but you can not try it yourself . This is not avoided, the children will get food or drink on your clothes , your own hand you can solve this problem by washing it with your hands. Only after cleaning cotton velvet small villi direction will not change . To a rational look at this issue , and to know its limitations, as the local deformation characteristics accept it, and try not to be too concerned about those places .

    Chiffon

Silk chiffon is the most common type , as well as polyethylene and rayon tulle tulle . It looks very light. Drinks and food stains are very easy to handle , but the silk chiffon is very hard to deal with , because this fabric is mobility , stains easily spread . If the edge of the fabric has been damaged, the damage depends on the size and location of the place , the best way is to cut them , and then hide them rather than repair them. There is a very significant problem because the individual filaments are "standing" cause , and they can not easily be hidden . Roberts allows a single break a few inches of fabric , and such damage is not repaired . Because tulle is in accordance with the conventional method in the bottom of the cut , so to repair and re- design is a great challenge. Any silk are wet after deformation, do not wipe the stain with a towel and napkins place . Yarn may become isolated , there is no way to remedy the separation of the yarn.

    Organza

It comes with glass-like sheen, but it is easily damaged . It is usually used in the wedding dress above, there are wedding bridesmaids and pull the children to wear clothing above . Because this fabric is not stretched , so be cropped very fit. If it is too tight , it will hold split seams . Note that when organza change , in particular, it does not fit , the hole will be very obvious seams . Do not rub this fabric , or they try to remove stains . Even a small abrasion on its shiny surface can easily be found , the yarn may also be separated. If you're wearing a dress , it will limit the activities, you stretch or bend it will be very easy to damage the fabric. This causes the yarn separation, which under his arm , waist and hip are very prone . If organza become " bent " or creased , usually white line will appear at the crease . Almost everyone has deviated away from healthy eating plans because of the temptations of chocolate, fast foods among other factors. A combination of a healthy eating plan and basic regular exercises is the key to a stress-free and healthy life.

Essential Nutrients in a Healthy Eating Plan

The body contains some standard minimum nutritional needs which ought to be fulfilled every day. Here are standard figures for every nutrient to help you in the evaluation of your daily healthy eating plan.

Carbohydrates: You need to have 45 to 65% of daily intake of calories from the carbohydrates. Legumes, beans and grains are a few of the possible sources of carbohydrates. Remember to limit your intake of sugar from candy or any other sweet product.

Proteins: You need to obtain 10 to 35% of daily calorie intake from the proteins. Proteins have both plant and animal sources. Legumes, dairy products and meat are examples of such sources.

Fat: You need to obtain 20 to 35% of the daily intake of calories from the fats. You must however limit the saturated intake of fats to 10%. Trans-fat intake should never exceed 1%.

Nuts and oils, such as canola oil, are the possible sources of good fats while saturated fat is available in red meat, coconut oil, butter and poultry. Trans-fat sources are cookies, crackers, and donuts among others.

Cholesterol: Your daily intake of cholesterol should never go beyond 300 milligrams. The body has a sufficient amount of cholesterol for proper functioning of the cells. Any extra cholesterol consumed will result in the fatty deposits within your arteries. Eggs, meat, dairy products, poultry and seafood are some common cholesterol sources. You should go very easy on these, if not avoid them altogether.

Fiber: The fiber requirement for each day differs according to a person's gender. The fiber intake recommended for each day is 30 to 38 grams for the males and 21 to 25 grams for females.

Vegetables, oats and dried beans are a few of the rich fiber sources. Fiber helps in the prevention of constipation and maintenance of healthy blood sugar and cholesterol levels.

    Tips on Healthy Eating Plans

Opt for dairy products: There is a misconception that a person will only end up with a healthy diet plan if he cuts out every dairy product from his diet. However some dairy products are great sources of vitamins and calcium and should therefore feature in your healthy eating plan. Use the skimmed milk, low-fat milk or the soy milk if you desire to have the best eating plan.

Go Green: Although most people think that a vegetarian diet has nothing to offer when it comes to nutrition, a vegetarian diet will have many delicious and healthy alternatives to the nutrients offered by meat alongside other options for non-vegetarians. Any diet consisting of fresh vegetables, nuts, fruits and other foodstuffs such as tofu is not only delicious but an ideal option for any healthy diet plan. If you are a hardcore non-vegetarian, ensure you don't take excess meat and have your meat intake balanced out with sufficient vegetables as well as fresh fruits. To moderate the meat intake, incorporate tofu or meat substitutes in your daily diet.

The most important step to a healthier life is the change to a healthy diet. Get more information from the free copy of my e-book report to make better choices!

Article Title: Grand Canyon Bus - Doing the Skywalk From Las Vegas

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Few people realize that Las Vegas is just 120 miles from the Grand Canyon. Or, more to the point, it's a quick 2.5-hour bus ride to the Skywalk.

    Near Vegas

It's this proximity to the best of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World that has these bus excursions selling out nearly daily during summer when travelers flood into Vegas.

To beat the rush, I typically recommend that you book your tour at least a week in advance. Of course, you're welcome to do so within 48 hours but you'll run the risk of paying more or getting a sub par trip.

There are two rims that travelers visit when it comes to the National Park: The West Rim and the South Rim. From Las Vegas, you can visit both. For the purposes of this article, I'll be talking about the packages that go to the West.

    Value

Bear in mind that these tours depart once a day in the morning and average about 12 hours in total when the day is done. Further, these trips include free hotel pick up and drop off, lunch and all taxes and fees, which makes them an excellent value.

The West Rim trip takes you past Lake Mead and does a Hoover Dam photo-stop on the Arizona side. In nearly all cases it will be a photo stop because staying for a full tour of Hoover Dam would make it nearly impossible to experience the Canyon.

Which begs the question: If you want to do Hoover, do you really want to the Canyon and vice versa? Because you can't successfully do both the same day, I suggest you do both on separate days or stick with just one destination.

    VIP

The bus takes you to the bus concourse at the West Rim where you'll get out and head to the Skywalk. For the most part, you're package will have VIP tickets in it, which means you can cut to the head of the line. How long you decide to actually stay on the glass bridge is up to you.

These bus tours come with up to 2.5 hours to explore the top. I suggest that after the Skywalk you catch one of the free shuttles and go to Guano Point. It's there where you'll get a great view of the Colorado River, which lies at the very bottom of the Canyon.

I'd also spend time at Eagle Point and in, near and around the Skywalk complex, which hosts multiple gift stores, the Hualapai Cultural Center and more. I also recommend stopping by Hualapai Ranch, which is a fictitious Old West Style town replete with gunfights and cowboys (the kids love it).

    Conclusion

As you can see, the West Rim is loaded with things to and the bus is the way to do it. In particular, I discussed the West Rim bus with Skywalk and believe this is the best option if you want to see the Glass Bridge as it's more expensive to add it to your package upon arrival. Just make sure to pre-book it a week in advance in order to secure a seat and save money.

Article Title: What Do Occupational Therapists and Assistants Do in Their Profession?

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

By and large, occupational therapy is most certainly a fast thriving career, and this is made due to a variety of reasons. This has led more likely students to grow to be interested in employment opportunities in the field, and right at the top of that list is the occupation of an occupational therapy assistant. While you may have a general idea about the field, it's nevertheless essential that you take a better look at the positions themselves and to see what it is what an OTA actually does.

Occupational therapy is all about improving the quality of life for people from all ages and backgrounds, dealing with nearly any kinds of disability. That disability could be physical, emotional, mental or developmental, and it could be permanent or the result of a recent injury or traumatic event.

Occupational therapy has various goals and outcomes for different victims across a full range of life "occupations". That doesn't just mean a working life or career, although job competencies and things like that are certainly included. But it also means the rest of the occupations in your life, from day to day chores and tasks, to life independence, social hobbies, learning, playing, coping and more.

With all of that mentioned, an occupational therapy assistant will be working with the full occupational therapist to help their patients in their life occupations, raising their quality of lifestyle, finding remedies for ailments and overcoming challenges and so forth. It's generally up to the OT to diagnose or examine a patient and then develop a treatment arrangement.

However in many cases, it's the OTA that then takes over the daily management of that plan. OTAs will help patients with exercising and a number of other treatments. They are there to help, inspire, congratulate and provide valuable feedback to the OT, who can then make any necessary changes to the treatment plan or program.

One day, an occupational therapist assistant may be supporting a patient in a wheelchair learn to move about and navigate obstacles and daily hiccups, and on another day, they may be working with a young child to learn how to use a pc or improve their social interaction with other youngsters. OTAs have the important responsibilities of recording progress and problems, and working together with the OTs to decide on the best way to make progress.

Further to this, OTAs generally tackle a few administrative operations, such as billing and working with medical health insurance providers. However, most of the administrative work will be handled by an occupational therapist aide, that is a step below an assistant and is an unlicensed/uncertified profession.

The point is, OTAs take care of many different issues with their profession, and it's certainly a gratifying and active profession. It's all about helping people and making a difference in their lives, and across all of the "occupations" that a person has. From firsthand application of exercises and treatments, to working with OTs to develop revised treatment programs and handling a few administrative tasks, OTAs take on a lot in this exciting and rapidly growing field and profession.

Getting in shape should not be a difficult task especially if the right steps are taken. Below you can find seven weight loss tips that are highly effective yet surprisingly easy to carry out. They are so basic that it should be trouble-free to abide by them for life. By keeping the eyes on the prize, dropping those unflattering pounds can become a simple undertaking.

Have smaller portions of food each mealtime. One of the best ways to ensure that you are not eating more than necessary is by steering clear of massive dinner plates, bowls and glasses. Use small ones and fill them up to trick your brain into thinking that you are having a lot. Such a simple optical illusion eventually can make your dream figure become a reality.

Add more good stuff than focusing on eliminating the bad ones. It can be very challenging to ditch the food you love all at once in exchange for a slimmer figure. Rather than get rid of them in a snap, it's a better idea to slowly incorporate more of those that are good for the body. Gradually remove the bad stuff until you are accustomed to a healthier eating habit.

Eat at a slower rate in order to know when it's time to stop. According to the experts, satiety kicks in 15 to 20 minutes after having the first bite. Wolfing down food quickly may only leave you eating more than necessary. When applicable, use only a fork to help you put small amounts of food in your mouth at a time. You may also use your non-dominant hand for it.

Have small frequent meals a day to keep your metabolic rate running. Your digestive tract requires a lot of calories to carry out its job. By giving it a reason to work every 4 hours or so, you can burn a lot of calories. Other than causing your metabolism to increase, having 5 to 6 small meals daily also saves you from feeling that losing weight is too restrictive.

Deal with hunger pangs appropriately by snacking in a healthy fashion. Spotting a bag of potato chips when you are feeling hungry can easily send you off course. It's for this reason why it is a good idea to stuff your kitchen or refrigerator with the good stuff. Nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables are packed with fiber that flushes out toxins as well as makes you feel full.

Be physically active always. Most people find exercising as something tiresome. Rather than paying for a gym membership or doing boring cardiovascular workout routines, engage in activities that you find interesting like dancing or playing tennis. Using the stairs, standing up while talking on the phone or walking to the nearby supermarket to shop are wonderful tips too.

Combat stress to make losing weight easier. Being constantly anxious and tired causes your body to release a hormone known as cortisol. You don't want having lots of this chemical in your bloodstream as it causes your body to hold on to fat all the more, most especially those in the belly area. To get in shape, manage stress effectively and get a good night's sleep each time.

Indeed, the Internet has made an impact on how men and women connect, communicate and perhaps do online dates. In the traditional way, when people are looking to date, they need to have already met each other personally and arrange a date from there. Yet, in the world today where technology has vastly advanced and everyone tend to turn to the Internet for almost anything, any person can really find and get in contact with a variety of matches speedily. Along with that, it is also easy to decline improbable prospects even while they are at their own houses. That is just how online dates work.

Then again, for those who really wish to proceed, do these dating websites work? Are they free from danger in comparison to conventional dating? Here is a vivid comparison of the two dating methods: conventional and online dates.

    1. How do people meet?

    Conventional:

With this method, people get to meet others by way of a common friend. It usually needs people to go to any social get-together that allows them to meet up with that special someone.

    Online:

People need an Internet connection to do the online dates. Register an account on social networking websites or online dating service. From there, people can already begin checking out and meeting people. They can then send each other messages through emails, chat rooms or messengers. People get to choose the exact time and the length of time they devote in browsing.

    2. How many options are available?

    Conventional:

People can only have limited choices here. They cannot select their date on their own particularly when it is a friend or a relative who set up the date. Nonetheless, with conventional dating, it is possible to discover more about the partner little by little as time passes.

    Online:

Soon after signing up, people can already obtain access to a large number of user profiles and try to find prospective online dates. People have the ability to look for dates within the geographical area or anywhere around the globe.

    3. How can people assess their compatibility?

    Conventional:

People meet in the flesh in the traditional dating method. With this, they can easily see whether there is some chemistry between them.

    Online:

In online dates, people communicate with their partner or potential partner through chatting. From their online conversations, they could sooner or later develop an intimate relationship.

    4. How safe is each dating method?

    Conventional:

This dating method is regarded as the safer one. This is because the users can see and date with their potential partner face-to-face with no aid of Photoshop.

    Online:

Deception is an extremely prevalent problem with online dates. Some users may make up their own stories that could have been very noticeable in conventional dating.

    5. How easy is it to ask out?

    Conventional:

Starting a conversation with a new person could be difficult to deal with. Single people may feel bashful to request a date with someone in person.

    Online:

People can easily look into the personal profiles of possible partners. It is also easier for online dates to ask their partners for a real date offline.

The work habits and lifestyles of people have changed, which makes it a challenging task for Christians to find a suitable partner. Because of this, Christian dating online has swiftly grown in popularity. In some instances, religious organizations tend to be scaled-down and might possibly not have a lot of single Christians. Even then, probably not one may be that particular someone. Hence, it is no wonder that there is a surge in the Christian online dates to try to tackle the different obstacles one might have to beat in searching for that spiritual mate.

Here are the many benefits of Christian dating online:

    1. It allows participation.

The majority of sites specializing in Christian dating online require their subscribers to supply a personal user profile. This enables the subscribers to look up and check profiles of individuals they feel they can be comfortable and suitable for. They have a chance to examine the user profile, which includes religious affiliation and spiritual culture. This makes it more likely for the subscribers to find the ideal type of man or woman with whom they may spend the rest of their lives with. With this, there really is no need to give up the real desires of their hearts. They only need to be patient, fill up every single resource available in Christian online dating websites and participate there actively.

    2. It offers short listing.

One of the services of this type of website is short listing. This is essential for people who prefer not to hand out their own contact information to strangers until they get acquainted with them. This can be done in the form of a chat facility or secure email.

If the dating online website does not offer this facility, the person can just obtain a free email account and utilize that right up to a degree of trust that has been reached. Relationships must not be in a hurry and these dating online sites allow people to establish relationships first in a calm and safe atmosphere.

    3. It has forums.

The majority of these sites include several forums that allow the subscribers to put to use their spiritual gifts by way of prayer, scripture study and general conversations. These kinds of forums are an effective way of dating online websites to facilitate in assessing potential matches, particularly when the persons they have an interest in are interacting there actively. Some sites will even assist in meetings in nearby places, letting them meet in a safe public location and above all, together with other Christians.

    4. It allows socializing with people from afar.

Some people may be more adventurous and wish to explore. There is also Christian dating online websites that provide their subscribers the option of creating relationships with those who might not exactly be in their local geographical location.

    5. It has positive feedback from users.

Last but not least, these sites generally seem to work well. A number of their subscribers report that they indeed found the husband or wife of their dreams. Even so, reading through the testimonials would suggest that considerable time, energy, persistence and prayer are important in establishing a successful romantic relationship and a motivation to continue utilizing fully the methods offered by Christian dating online sites.

Today, it is already acceptable to find a partner on the internet. Some people though, would still lie to their friends about signing up on an online dating site and stalking some profiles that got their interest. But it is a great place to prowl for potential partners. A single site can have millions of members to choose from. Imagine the possibility that comes with such number. However, while the ocean appears to be bluer than they should be on this side of the dating plane, online dating can also be frustrating at times. You would need background knowledge and proven tips to navigate your way through the maze of online dating.

First tip, never rely on the pictures you see on the profiles in an online dating site. A 2D image of a gorgeous blond, or the mysterious raven-haired stunner would surely catch your attention. You can use it as a guide but never fully trust that it is the real thing. Pictures can be helpful in knowing the person better. Your online dating partner can easily lie through her teeth behind her keyboard and profile picture. If she says that she loves French furniture and classical architecture, it is easier to believe it if she has pictures touring Europe in search for these wonders. Thus, carefully look into her gallery and check for consistency between what she is saying and what you get from the pictures.

Secondly, while looks can be important in a relationship, get to know more of her other interests, hobbies and the beliefs important to her. Through online dating, you can have your sweet time in knowing more about your potential partner. At least when you finally get to meet each other, physical appearance is not just what's on the line.

For men looking for really serious relationships, remember that nice girls would often wait for men to establish contact beyond the chat room first. It would pay to ignore those that appear to be over-eager and tend to bombard your mail box with tons of correspondence. They are either too desperate, which can be a bad start in a relationship, or is into something fishy that may range from making fun of online dating participants to grand scale swindling. It can also be inferred that they do not rate much in the looks department.

Beautiful and confident girls will not have time to bombard you with mails as they might also be receiving tons of mails per day. So make a go with these types. Who knows, out of the 100+ mails she reads per day, you can get her attention and she will agree to go beyond online dating.

Lastly, find someone you enjoy chatting with. If she matches your messages with witty remarks and comments to your liking, chances are you are in for a fun and meaningful dating experience. If, on the other hand, you find her answers dumb and boring, what's the point of meeting her in person? A date that's composed of 80% awkward silent moments is no date at all.

It is important to assert that nothing in the Bible says online dating is forbidden. It shows denunciation of the adequacy and satisfactoriness of the Holy Scripture to insert certain laws that God had not brought in from the beginning. People should not force into one another transgressions that are not actually written in the Scriptures. This was an error committed by the high priests of the Jewish sects during the time of Jesus. Since online dating has become prevalent, it is imperative to help people understand this modern endeavor in accordance to biblical teachings.

    Advantages of online dating

    * This activity makes it possible for people to interact with a bigger community of individuals who have not met the partners God intended for them.

    * If online dating is utilized prudently, it can present a situation to assess a possible date prior to a personal meet up.

    * Lots of unattached individuals who give a lot of their time and effort into online dating are often seeking for a partner who also wants to be in a real relationship.

    * There have been numerous success stories of couples who met through these websites and eventually were engaged and had gotten married.

There are great advantages, but whatever people decide to do, it is always recommended to determine the pros and cons prior to getting involved. Pastors have certain apprehensions about this kind of online activities because if used without much consideration, it can be risky.

    Disadvantages of online dating

    * Can be costly. Certain websites may be accessed without charge; however, many ask for fees that range between thirty to fifty dollars monthly.

    * Takes much of your time. Sites ask registrants to fill up forms with endless questions. Actually, this is important to determine possible matches with other members. Communicating with possible matches can take a while and is also a long process that can sidetrack you from other activities that are also important in your life like your family, your work, and significant others.

    * Misleading information. Some online dating sites promise to match and find searchers their perfect partners. Their marketing ads present numerous couples who were able to find their matches which engender only an idealistic concept that may not be closer to the truth. Nevertheless, majority indicate a one to two percent of dating relationships in their site wind up getting married.

    * There are probable risks involved. Majority of online dating websites have very long cautionary statements and disclaimers about security in meeting different personalities through the Internet. Revealing very personal details to a stranger is not very smart and can be risky. Also, when exchanges are made through online communication, it is more difficult to determine if the other person is telling the truth.

    * There have been numerous reports concerning wrongdoers and delinquents who con people they meet online.

Overall, when you have decided to engage in online dating, make sure that the person you will choose to date is one who will share your values and principles. He or she must be able to encourage you to develop a deeper relationship with God and make Him the center of your lives. Ask from the persons you meet certain questions regarding their spiritual conviction and the way it serves them in their activities of daily living. It also helps if the other person carries a recommendation letter from his pastor or spiritual leader from their community.

Article Title: A Simple Guide in Dating Russian Women in Canada

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

In a diverse country such as Canada, it is common to meet people with foreign roots and different traits as well as culture. Russian people in particular, are quite common specifically in the province of Ontario. According to the 2006 Census, there are 500,600 Russian-Canadians in Canada.

In terms of dating Russian women in Canada, it is imperative that you know their line of thinking. Back in Russia, men and women have their distinct places in society. But in Canada, these Russians tend to blend with the country's own culture. So they make it a point that they are in harmony with the community. In Russia where chivalry somehow still exists, men are obliged to open doors for women. That is not the case in Canada. Such deeds are considered attacks on the individuality of a woman. In dating Russian women in Canada, it is relatively easier. As in the case of the typical Canadian way, the men are only obliged to be a good conversation and also someone who pays the bill during dates.

Another difference in trying to date a Russian girl in the Country of Canada compared to dating them in Russia is that Russian-Canadians puts emphasis on fidelity. Such principle is not a major issue in Russia. Women there are shockingly a lot more forgiving when it comes to their partners cheating. So, if you want to be successful in having a date with a Russian-Canadian girl, you need to make them feel secured and show them as much sense of loyalty as possible.

Russian women also pride themselves as excellent housekeepers. They brand themselves as good parents. When dating Russian women in Canada, you need to appreciate these positive traits. Make sure that you value family ties. If you are not comfortable with this type of setting, you need to immediately set up clear lines regarding the matter in the beginning of the date. This way, you can prevent further misunderstandings and cultural interferences in the future.

While confidence is important in every person, Russian women are generally proud of their looks. Combine this with the outgoing personality of the Canadians, then what you have is a woman with a high sense of confidence. Now, in hooking up with a Russian girl in Canada, you don't want to be inferior to her aura. You should, at least be on par, with her. Carry yourself as dignified as you can but not to the point of intimidating and smug. Be sophisticated yet approachable.

Lastly, the most important factor is communication. Dating Russian women in Canada commands constant communication on both sides. Carefully select the topics that you are going to tackle in starting a conversation. As much as possible, avoid topics regarding Russian politics. Russians in Canada are not comfortable in discussing the state of Russia's bureaucracy.

As in the case of dating any woman, just be you. If you try to mold yourself into something new every time, you might end up not knowing who your true self really is and that could spell doom to you intentions.

Many people were able to find their marriage partners, thanks to online dating. If you are seeking for Ottawa girls, then here are 8 online dating advices that you have to follow through.

    1. Do not misrepresent yourself in your profile

Not only will you appear like a deceiver in the eyes of Ottawa girls, but you will not also be able to find the right girl who can accept you for who you really are. Be truthful about your age, height, interests, and appearance.

    2. Do not become a creeper

Avoid persistently sending sugary messages to Ottawa girls if you do not want to look like you are desperate. No one wants to date someone who is on the verge of becoming a stalker. The best time to send those types of messages is when they already got to know you.

    3. Do not invest time in girls whose online profiles are inactive

Even if you keep sending messages to Ottawa girls, do not bother wasting your time with them if they have not logged into their profiles for more than a month. They are probably disinterested in their online dating profiles or they have probably found their ideal partners.

    4. Invest more time offline instead online

Go on a real date with a girl if she is interested in pursuing a relationship with you. That will give you an idea of what it will be like to spend time with that person outside the virtual world.

    5. Have the right mindset

Steer clear of dating websites if you have no idea what type of girl that you are looking for. You can list down the traits of your ideal girl before joining a dating website. You also have to determine what you want to experience out of online dating.

    6. Be unique

If the girl that you are interested in is attractive, chances are she has received many messages from other potential dating partners. Try to construct a message that will grab her attention. You will more likely get a response from her if you do that.

    7. Do not put all of your information in your profile

It will be boring if Ottawa girls do not find you mysterious anymore. They will not ask you questions related to you if the answers have been revealed already in your profile.

    8. Post your decent photos

Some Ottawa girls make their dating decisions just by looking at photos, so it is important for you to post pictures where you look good. You can enhance your photos, but not to the extent that you do not look like your current self. Besides, none of the Ottawa girls want to be disappointed after discovering what you really look like.

Never post pictures in which you look like you are trying to take a self-portrait in a mirror. Girls will think that you are vain if you do that. You also have to avoid posting photos in which you are half-naked, as well.

These are the 8 online dating advices that will help you get dates with Ottawa girls. Be sure to keep these advices in mind if you still have not found the right girl yet.

Article Title: Pentecostal Christians Discovering Friendship Around the World in the Same Faith

Pentecostal Christians or the "Charismatic" community believe that Christians these days always feel the Holy Spirit as available and alive in every aspect of their lives. They can experience the gifts of the Holy Spirit in whatever they do and whoever they meet. The so-called manifestations of the Holy Spirit were observed among the Christian faith during the 1st century.

    General Guidelines for Pentecostal Christians

Pentecostal Churches have different guidelines when it comes to the way men and women dress up, fix their appearance, or how they behave whether at home or in public places. The church does not encourage activities that are improper. Men and women are not allowed to swim, dance, or watch movies altogether. The Pentecostal Church is very strong against watching television not necessarily because of technology, but because the leaders of the church do not favor shows on TV that present worldliness and being ungodly. Also, it appears that they do not display good lifestyle and behavior examples that are beneficial particularly for the youth.

    Dating Rules for Pentecostal Christians

Personalities who are part of the Pentecostal Church follow guidelines the church knows will help them to avoid commit transgression. There may be rules that are not exactly indicated in the church laws of Pentecostalism; however, they are stipulated by the particular church the people attend to. Majority of pastors tell their church members that all couples need to have a mature outlook and must grow in God. It is in their best interest to discuss dating and related guidelines in the presence of their pastor and parents. It must be noted that in the church community, the guiding principle for one pastor is not the same for another.

The Pentecostal Church denomination encourages dating another person in the same faith so the couple can attend worship and church activities together. Later on when they decide to get married and raise a family, they will include their kids on the faith they grew into.

Dating sites online for Pentecostal Christians

Currently there have been favorable websites online for Pentecostal members who want to meet other personalities belonging in the same faith in the Pentecostal Church. This is the new-fangled means to connect with other single individuals wherever they may be in the world. Pentecostal affiliates who register in these sites may want to find friends, discover love, or engage in a trustworthy relationship. Since there are lots of websites that cannot be trusted, people who agree on the same testimony of faith can depend on Christian dating sites. A lot of members bring on their own pastors' letters of recommendation in these sites.

Certain dating websites make use of a system that makes the e-mailing process to contact people private. In this way, all members are assured of confidentiality. Pentecostal Christians who are not married or attached can connect with one another within a pleasant and sociable community. Most sites allow customization of a member's individualized information which may include the name, age, location, educational background, work details, among others. These are useful facts to find Pentecostal members who correspond to a searcher's personality and outlook in life.

Dating singles online has become a rising craze for some time. Several people who attempted to do this have in fact found their own spouses there.

For those who are searching for their match, but have never tried meeting singles online previously, they may consider this the best moment to give it a shot. It is not questionable when people tend to be skeptical about this idea, yet, here are three good reasons why people should give online dating a try.

First Reason: Dating singles online is a more convenient option than traditional dating.

It cannot be denied that meeting one's soul mate is such a challenging task. Yet, despite this, a person can make the first step of searching for the right one by going to places where single men and women gather. This is exactly why people need to try dating singles online. Doing this through the web is very much quicker and less difficult as opposed to the conventional dating techniques where individuals still need to request their friends or someone else to introduce single people to them.

It is best to pin down the options from a multitude of people. After which, get acquainted with them by means of instant messaging, sending electronic mails, texting and the like. By doing this, people are able to familiarize themselves more with a possible date online prior to deciding to request a real date.

Everything can be done with just a couple of basic mouse clicks and typing within a few minutes and without the need to search for a person or spend lots of cash on an intimate date only to discover that the person is just not the right one.

Second Reason: It is safe to use.

With the internet being linked to a lot of online scams and intrusion of privacy when it began, it can be natural to feel that meeting singles online is just not safe or secure. This is because people are necessitated to make a profile, which shares their details with unknown people online. However, that is already a subject put to rest. The web has grown to be a significantly more secure spot to date singles online at present. Plus, numerous online dating sites also value the privacy of their users by agreeing never to make their personal details public to other websites.

Third Reason: It is easier to cope with rejection.

No rejection is absolutely simple to handle. However, it is definitely less difficult to cope with rejection when dating singles online only rather than dating people face to face. Due to the fact that people do not really see their dates in the flesh, they do not get declined straight in their faces.

What if a person rejects by neglecting or not answering the messages? It is rather simple. It is better to proceed to another prospect.

The fact remains that people may either date the painful way or the wise way. Meeting and dating singles online is certainly the wise approach.

Online dating has come a long way since 1995. In fact, it has made it easier for Toronto girls to eliminate other men until they have found the right ones. Here are 10 qualities that they usually look for in men.

    1.Chivalry

Toronto girls prefer men who make their lives easier no matter how small the tasks are. These men accomplish tasks without expecting something in return from the girls. As a sign of respect, they will never force girls to do things that can make them uncomfortable. Girls will feel relaxed because they know that these guys will never intentionally hurt them.

    2.Hygienic

The men's appearances and scents usually reflect how much they value their health. Toronto girls do not want to be near guys who have bad body odors and who have not bathed for a long time. They prefer men who wash their bodies and hairs every day, who brush their teeth twice or thrice a day, and who trim their nails.

    3.Selfless

Men who prioritize girls' needs first is a selfless act. They do not consider much about what will happen to them before, during, and after they offer their assistance to Toronto girls who need help. They also care about the happiness of girls at the expense of their own.

    4.Hardworking

Hardworking guys do no rely too much on the strength of other people. They appeal to Toronto girls because they are dependable and are capable of providing important needs for their families in the future.

    5.Loyal

Loyalty exists when men are in a monogamous relationship. Even if the girls that they are dating have nothing to give, they will still support them during bad and good times. Men know what will be the consequences if they cheat on their girls.

    6.Perseverant

Toronto girls appreciate men who can work to achieve their ambitions without giving up. No matter what their circumstances will be, they will try to find a good way to financially support their loved ones. They will also try to put more effort to make their relationships with their girls work.

    7.Honesty

Men who can openly express their feelings to their loved ones have this type of quality. Deceiving other people will never be in their nature. They are honest because they care about preserving the girls' dignities.

    8.Intelligence

If Toronto girls are having difficulties making the right decisions, men can be in charge of those things by selecting the right choices. These men will hold actual conversations with girls instead of useless ones. They will also try to understand the needs of girls without disregarding their beliefs.

    9.Humorous

Since life has many setbacks for everyone, men who can make girls laugh can drive their sadness away. Girls usually perceive funny men as being confident. This confidence is what makes girls feel safe. These men can pull off a joke after judging the situations that the girls are in.

    10.Responsibility

Men who are willing to accept things that are caused by their actions, behaviors, and thoughts are known to be responsible. They know what choices they should make to be where they want to be.

These are all the 10 qualities that Toronto girls usually look for in men.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Winnipeg single ladies are rumored to have bad reputations. Before tackling about Winnipeg's women, it's best to know about the location of the place. Winnipeg is located in the Country of Canada, specifically in the province of Manitoba, which lies at the bottom of the Red River Valley, a flood plain with an extremely flat topography. It is known as the "Gateway to the West". Its people are called Winnipegger.

As previously noted, some Winnipeg single ladies have earned a somewhat bad reputation. Such reputation is all over the Internet and in social sites. They are said to be arrogant, unapproachable, materialistic, and shallow. Well, maybe there's a reason for all of this, and one should not give false ideas about others especially if it's baseless.

In getting to know the women in Winnipeg and their reputation, one should first know the typical woman's personality. First, most females are unapproachable by nature. They want to play "hard-to-get". They like a guy who will pursue them no matter what as well as a man that shows confidence despite being avoided and pushed away. So basically, it is not only the Winnipeggers that are unapproachable.

Women, in general, prefer men with stable income. They want a guy that will assure them of a bright and prosperous life in the future. They also prefer a guy that could satisfy their daily needs and occasional wants. The Winnipeg woman though is another story. Most of them need high up-keep. They like to splurge their money on dresses, make-ups, shoes, etc. and this is the reason why most Winnipeg single ladies are classified as gold diggers.

Arrogance in women is a fact. Most Winnipeg single ladies are arrogant and no one exactly knows why. Their culture and tradition may or may not have affected this. But this should not be a reason for any form of doubt to transpire. After all, it is not only the Winnipeg woman that exhibits arrogance. Rather, it is pretty common elsewhere. And of course, this can be changed through time and understanding.

A Winnipegger woman likes a guy that has confidence, a guy that is trustworthy, a guy that could satisfy her in any way, and most of all, a guy that has a great sense of humor. Winnipegger girls love to laugh, you know, and they also want to have some fun every now and then.

A lot of people that discriminate these girls are guys that are frustrated because they didn't succeed in hooking up with a Winnipeg girl primarily because of their initial attitude. But knowing a person involves patience and understanding. Most people who are strict on the outside are surprisingly sweet and tender inside.

Most people that talk bad about Winnipegger gals have only met them a few times. And the few times that they met, they somehow managed to formulate baseless judgments. They also judge them based on what they hear from others which is obviously not right. No one has the right to label or judge another person especially if they have yet to try any effort to get to know the person more.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Vancouver is a port city. This means that a lot of people are going to settle in and out of this city. With this influx of people are new faces trying to seek a new home. Most of these are men, and some of them are in search of Vancouver single women to be their partners in life. But this may be a pretty hard thing to do because Vancouver single women have been known to be very picky and have gained a reputation of being hard to please and hard to get along.

Most Vancouver single women do not want to entertain nor mingle with unfamiliar faces as well as unusual attitude. And they would just rather avoid people that are foreign or new to them. Women in Vancouver, especially the single ones, would think that all cocky white men are the same and all Asian men are the same. They would generalize that all members of a certain race are the same even though they've only met one or two. Not to mention that in Vancouverite tradition, it is stated that a single woman will not entertain the unfamiliar. And this extends beyond normal.

If you have read the article "Vancouver men Suck" by Katherine Ashenburg published on January 1, 2012, you can clearly see that men in Vancouver are lazy, poorly dressed, unambitious, and that they have lost their chivalry. On the side of the Vancouverite men, they also claimed that it's the females in Vancouver who sucks specifically the Vancouver single women who they deemed pretentious, fake, shallow, unfriendly, and also materialistic.

The truth is most women in Vancouver are lovely and friendly. Most people say that they are one if the pickiest, but they are just misjudged by some because of their perfectionist approach in finding a partner. Being picky is not a necessarily a bad thing since this gives them the time to properly find the right and perfect one to be their partner in life. Another thing is that there are a lot of sexually hungry men in Vancouver. Since it's a port city, most of them are sailors, passengers, or tourists so the possibility of sexual crimes performed by foreign men against women in Vancouver is high.

Eventually, this will drive the Vancouver single women to social avoidance and to have a mindset that most foreign or unfamiliar people just want to have sex and don't want to settle. This is mainly the reason why Vancouverite women are avoiding people and why they are picky. No one can blame them if they act or react like that since it is only natural for women or any individual to seek refuge for oneself.

Now if you want to settle down with a Vancouverite woman and then you found out that it is pretty difficult, you need to have a slower approach. The Vancouverite girls might realize that your intentions are pure and righteous. They may also see the person that they want and need in you, contrary to the persons they often see and dislike.

Are you still single and looking for someone to date with? Or are you just someone who's looking for a companion? Are you also the dreamer who wishes to bring back the unparalleled fun of the good old days of friendship?

Nowadays, it's become easier to meet up with other people as compared to before. Classmates from high school and college have been given a medium to communicate with each other more easily and conveniently. Along with the rise of the internet is the rise of social networks. This medium is so useful especially for singles who are longing for someone to be with.

Singles social networks have become rampant because they provide opportunity for people to meet others whom they have interest. The user's profile provides information for other people to know some characteristics of a particular person. However, most singles social network has the option to restrict personal information about the user. Thus it may take a little gut and effort to know more information from an unfamiliar user.

It may sound inconvenient, but the important thing is that it teaches someone to have some courage to face things which are fundamental in a relationship. One of these things is communication. It is given that when you are in a relationship, not everything is easy. There are instances that someone will sacrifice his wants for the sake of his partner. This is also the beauty of companionship as it teaches one how to live not only for himself but for other people. Singles social network can surely be a stepping stone for the start of a relationship. A lot of people started their relationship as strangers, and with the help of chance and perseverance, they managed to make it grow into something special.

Singles social network is not only there for people who are looking for a companion. Sometimes, it is used by someone to know how life has been for their childhood friends. It gives someone an update of the important events on their friends' lives. Usually, an individual will undergo a significant event in life like birthdays, weddings, and different anniversaries. These are also venues for friends or even strangers to have a chance to meet up. With this type of social network, it will be easier to make announcements or give invitations not only to persons who are close to them but also to their friends whom they haven't met for a long time.

Not only will it give information to their friends but also their friends even have the option to reply to a message or request. That only shows how this kind of social network can give a real time communication and a medium that is better than invitation cards.

This type of social networking really has a lot of benefits and most of them are somewhat essential to one's life. By nature, humans have the tendency to socialize with other beings. One usually finds a feeling of belongingness if they constantly communicate with others. It should be in everybody's mindset that an individual does not live alone and that these social networks are made to realize each individual's needs.

Men have different preferences when it comes to dating girls, so it is not surprising as to why not all couples were able to hit it off after their first date. Here are the 10 types of Vancouver girls that men commonly date.

    1. Ms. Equality

These Vancouver girls believe that the responsibilities and the expenses involved in a relationship should be equally shouldered by both partners. They will never take advantage of men who are offering their generosity to them.

    2. Ms. Low Maintenance

Girls will never expect something in return as long as they accept men for who they are. Neither money nor handsome looks will be able to sway their attention. Like Ms. Equality, they are also willing to pay half of their dating expenses.

    3. Ms. Frank

When men date Vancouver girls who will say what is on their minds, they are dealing with this type of girl. They will never go back on their word once they say it to men. They will also display behaviors and actions that will reflect their inner thoughts and feelings. However, men who easily get hurt will have difficulty appreciating these girls since they are usually blunt.

    4. Ms. Persona

Although some girls may not look like beauty queens, they are number 1 when it comes to their personalities. They have certain traits that can attract other men.

    5. Ms. Delightful

Vancouver girls who belong in this category are rare, but they are priceless because of their upbeat personalities. They always maintain a positive outlook while being contented with their lives. Because they are genuine people, they will never hurt anyone intentionally.

    6. Ms. Self-reliant

Men will appreciate Vancouver girls who belong in this classification. That is because the girls will not rely too much on them whenever problems arise or if things do not go the way they expected. They are contented with making important decisions on their own without consulting someone else's opinions. They are usually suitable for men who do not have the time to put too much effort into their relationships.

    7. Ms. Best Friend

These Vancouver girls usually have the same interests as other men. These interests may range from traveling to similar places to watching the same comedy series.

    8. Ms. Devoted

No matter what circumstances that men would be in, girls will still look out for them. These girls will never find other men to replace the ones that they are dating.

    9. Ms. Fashionista

Having good fashion sense, wearing branded clothes, and enjoying shopping are qualities that usually befit a Ms. Fashionista. Vancouver girls will rarely be seen with horrible looks because they mostly wear make-up and high heels. Men will appreciate them for receiving advice about their fashion styles. The only drawback about these girls is that they may wind up frequently complaining about how their feet hurt when they wear high heels.

    10. Ms. Know-it-all

These girls are known for giving opinions about various things. Although they do not give attention to fashion, they read books during spare time. They usually get low self-esteem when they could not accomplish their goals in life. They also know what to do when it comes to making decisions.

These are the 10 types of Vancouver girls that men usually date.

Article Title: How to Control Your Anxiety and Blood Pressure

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

It's a common belief that blood pressure produces a direct reflection on anxiety. While it is a possible cause, this is not always true. In fact, more often than not, anxiety is not the cause of high blood pressure. So what is the cause? Look at the diet you eat. Do you take in a lot of grains and sugars? Do you drink a lot of coffee or alcohol? All of these things affect your blood pressure much more than anxiety. So, with that being said, how does one control both anxiety and blood pressure at the same time?

Here's the trick, and it's tough: exercise. You don't need expensive prescription drugs with dangerous side effects to treat high blood pressure. In fact, more than half of the people on high blood pressure medication still suffer. A huge cause of high blood pressure is obesity. By normalizing your body weight, you're doing yourself a huge favor. Also, normalize your diet. Stop eating so many grains and sugars! And caffeine is an issue as well. Cut down on the cups of coffee you have in the morning. Caffeine is a stimulant which makes the heart beat faster and harder. Also consider your nicotine intake. While smoking may make you feel temporarily relaxed, in the long run it does the opposite. Nicotine is a stimulant and has been known to trigger panic attacks. So, drop that cigarette right now. It's horrible for you in more ways than one.

Exercise, of course, is king when combined with a better diet. Not only will you normalize your body weight, but you will eliminate stressors and anxieties in your life. There's a chemical called serotonin, which is anxiety's enemy. Think of it as happy medicine. Think of exercise as serotonin in pill form. Exercise releases mass amounts of serotonin into your body, eliminating most stress and leaving you feeling great after a workout. The exercise doesn't necessarily have to be rigorous either. A simple thirty minute walk every day will do wonders for your body and anxiety if you eat right.

And finally, get some sun. Sunlight has been known to ease depression as well as anxiety. Ever wonder why we refer to cloudy days with no sun as "gloomy?" That's why. Go for a walk in the park. Read a book outside. If you're in school, ask your teacher to have class outside if it's nice. It will drop the stress levels in the class, and perhaps you might focus better.

All in all, anxiety usually doesn't have a direct link to hypertension, but it can be a factor in some circumstances. There are ways to combat both at the same time even if you only have anxiety or if you suffer from high blood pressure. I'll say it three times: Exercise. Exercise. Exercise. When serotonin floods the body, you'll feel better. Plus you'll be burning calories and shaping your body. And don't forget to watch what you eat, quit smoking, and quit drinking so much coffee.

High blood pressure occurs in one of every three adults. The culprit? Many believe it is something called hypertension. Actually, that isn't accurate at all. Hypertension is just a medical term for high blood pressure, not the cause. Some have come to believe that the root word "tense" means something like anxiety or anxiousness, but not true. Anxiety is certainly a cause for high blood pressure in some people, but most of the time, it has only a minor influence.

But, yes, hypertension is on the rise in our society, but this is largely due to diet issues. High grain intake and low fat intake is exactly the wrong combination to follow when trying to avoid high blood pressure. Also, there have been links to high blood sugar with high blood pressure. So avoid these things, and a frequently proposed solution to high blood pressure is medication. This works for some, but not most. In fact, most people on high blood pressure medication still have issues with high blood pressure.

So, what are you supposed to do to control your blood pressure? Think of something more natural than medications. The answer is simple: control your diet. Eliminate grains and sugars. Balance the omega fats. Normalize your weight, especially if you are obese. Also, eliminate caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant linked to hypertension.

Get a grip on your emotional life. Yes, anxiety can cause blood pressure spikes, but it is rare. It doesn't hurt to get a handle on things. How? Exercise. Exercise is a key ingredient when dealing with anxiety. Think of serotonin as the stress reliever. We all want less stress, right? Stress leads to anxiety problems. Exercise releases mass amounts of serotonin into your body as you exercise. Ever wonder why you feel so good going for that walk? This is why. Get out and about. Think of it like a drug. After all, we learned in school anything that changes the way the mind or body works is a drug. Exercise does that. Feel depressed? Hit the gym for thirty minutes or go for a thirty minute walk. It's not complicated, and it does so much good for your body!

And get some sun. And no, I don't mean roast yourself to death in a tanning bed. Get out and get some sun. It has been proven that sun light can help reduce the amount of stress you feel. Ever wonder why students sometimes have class outside on a nice day? This would be the answer.

So, can naturally managing anxiety help avoid spikes in blood pressure? Yes and no. It's always great to manage your stress in life, especially with diet and exercise, but anxiety isn't usually the cause of high blood pressure. It can be, but not usually. The best recommendation is repeated above: exercise. Exercise will drop your anxiety levels for starters. It will also burn calories and help you get your weight under control. Most definitely monitor your diet because doing so will not only reduce your risk of hypertension, but you will feel better while you exercise too.

Millions of football fans across the world are getting ready for the next season. Players are training, coaches are studying, and many fans just can't wait to get their hands on tickets to the next season. If you are one of the many fans that are just waiting to go to the stadium, or turn the television on Sunday mornings and afternoons, you'll want to look into the prestige that comes along with getting something that others don't get, and that's a championship ring. In the traditional sense, most fans cannot achieve the upper levels of professional sports. However, that doesn't mean that it's impossible to get one of the rings. You could get super bowl rings today, and become a champion in your own right.

    The Allure of a Replica

There is nothing like the real thing, we have heard that all the time. However, there is something to be said about a very good replica. If you could get the exact option only emulated to the exact specifications that the players wear, wouldn't you at least be curious? Think about that for a moment, and then imagine putting on your hands the same ring that players are using. Only yours will not cost six figures, and you will not have to go through the grueling season of hits.

Replicas today are not what you think. They are not poorly made, although there are some company selling subpar solutions. When you locate a high quality vendor, you will notice that their attention to details will be precise. You'll get a 1:1 replica that will look so real, people will be fooled.

    Celebrating Victories Past

Reliving the big moment when a team won the championship is definitely worth noting. Millions of people can tell you exactly where they were when their favorite team was able to overcome the odds and tackle the giants of their sport. Underdogs made miracle makers, favorites made to lose, and the fans winning every single time. If you want to celebrate the past victories from your favorite team, no matter how long ago it's been, you will definitely want to get your hands on super bowl rings.

Placing the ring on your finger during the season could very well be that one extra bit of fanfare that you need to get your squad to the finals and even winning the playoffs. This sort of system is definitely one of great admiration, and should not be taken lightly.

    A Piece of the Puzzle

As a fan you may already have a lot of different elements that help you show off that you're a huge fan. Think about it for a moment. You may have the stickers, cards, banners, jerseys, socks, hats, and more, but what you may not have to complete the package is a replica ring. That's right, the one caveat to your next visit to the stadium may in fact be this piece of memorabilia.

This puzzle piece is one thing that alludes millions of players across the nation. From the college level to the professional games, the goal of a football player is to get their hands on the ring and trophy that comes with winning the Super Bowl. While you may not be able to get on the field and make serious tackles, you could at least get a taste of the glory in this fashion.

Becoming the ultimate fan has never been easier. You could easily get yourself into the upper levels of any cheering section when you have your ring in hand. When the squad scores and makes huge play's, you and the rest of your crew will be up out of their seats going nuts, and your hands can help dictate so much more if you have one of these amazing pieces of history. Think about it for a moment, and it will make sense, and you'll be a super fan indeed.

    Customized Solutions

Let's say that you want to get something that is more than just the replica. Customizing it is simple, so that you when you have it in your possession you know that you're a member of a larger entity. Just like people customize their jerseys to reflect their name, you could ensure that you are doing the same with your replica piece of history.

There's no reason why you shouldn't look into getting a championship edition ring, especially with technology allowing good designers to bring together hand crafted, prong set options to the masses. Being a football fan has never been so good, that's for sure.

If you are frustrated because of a roof leak on your home and you only have two courses of action to take. The first one would be to locate and fix the leak yourself and maybe doing some research to properly fix the leak. The next option would be to pay out of pocket and hire a roofing contractor. Of course both options have their risks and advantages.

Fixing a roof leak by yourself can be simple if you already have some mechanical knowledge. It will help to research online or read some self-help home improvement guides. Sometimes you can just call around and get some free advice from a roofer that is willing to help and not give you a sales promotion. Getting as much advice and information as possible is needed to fully evaluate your particular situation. Keep in mind that fixing your roof can also be dangerous even though it will save you some money. Just make sure that you are aware of all the risks involved and use all safety precautions available to you. If your roof has a steep slope make sure that you use a proper safety line or even staging equipment such as a walkboard or scaffolding.

Hiring a roofing contractor is also a gamble because there are many contractors after your cash and really are not interested in doing a roof repair that will last. There are some good roofers out there but it's a matter of finding the right one. Sometimes that can be a complicated process all by itself but if you take the time to find a roofer that you are comfortable with then take a leap of faith otherwise find and repair the roof leak yourself if you are confident and capable.

Fixing a roof leak is something that you do not want to neglect for too much time because it can cause even more damage or become a health risk by creating a petri dish for mold and fungus to grow throughout your home. After a locating the roof leak you can then decide if it is something that your willing to fix on your own. If you cannot find the moisture intrusion then get lots of free estimates from roofing companies to determine the cause and make the correct decision. In some cases the use of a thermo imaging device is needed to locate a hard to find roof leak.

Finding and fixing the roof leak either on your own or if you need to hire a roofing expert will depend on your ability, level of skill and the difficulty of the roof problem. If it's just a pipe collar or missing shingles I would encourage a homeowner to fix this on their own because it is simple and with common sense it is a relatively easy fix. More involved and difficult roof repairs maybe a number of things like flashing problem, skylight leak, apron metal, valley problem or worse. Just use common sense to determine the nature of your roof problem and make an intelligent decision on which path to take.

South African Airways (SAA) has released its 2012/13 Annual Financial statements showing a cost savings in excess of R1-billion and a 14% increase in total income. The financial results were released recently following the airlines annual meeting held at its Kempton Park headquarters.

The airline reported total revenue of R27,1-billion in the year under review against the previous financial year s R23,9-billion."The increase in revenue is attributed to various factors including 7% increase in airfares despite competition from the Middle East region continuing to place pressure on average airfares; 8% increase in revenue passengers with domestic routes traditionally contributing positively to the airlines performance ,and 3% increase in available capacity.

"New destinations and frequencies launched during 2011 are now maturing and making positive contribution to the airlines improving revenue. Additional routes launched in 2012 are similarly starting to yield more positive returns."

Dealing with operating costs, the financial report continued: "Fuel cost and the weakening of the ZAR against the USD (13% year-on-year) among other factors continue to impact severely on the airlines operating costs. Despite the challenging and competitive environments, SAA delivered a 40% improvement in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization from a loss of R 705-million in 2012 to a loss of R 425-million in 2013. After depreciation, amortization, finance costs and investment income, the airline reported a 14% improvement in the loss before tax from R1,4-billion to R1,2-billion .

"Fuel cost had the most impact on long haul routes where the existing fleet is fuel inefficient. The average fuel price was at levels in excess of US$ 110 which further eroded route profitability."

The report added that although operating costs reflected a 12% year-on-year increase, fuel remained the single biggest cost to SAA having increased from 34% to 35% of operating cost. For the period under review, fuel cost increased by 15% to R1, 3 billion .Operating costs, excluding uncontrollable costs, decreased by 2%.

"During this period, SAA embarked on a Cost Compression Program me to re-engineer processes in order to derive sustainable cost benefits going forward .The programme consisted of 38 individual projects covering a multitude of initiatives. These initiatives ranged from basic simple projects, such as saving energy by switching off unnecessary lights, to more complex projects such as fuel-saving initiatives to optimize fuel by utilizing dynamic flight plans and alternative landing rights, and reducing the weight of on-board items.SAA successfully achieved 97% of the R1,3-billion budgeted reduction in costs, removing in excess of R1-billion in costs from the business, which was unfortunately to a large extent offset by weakening rand."

The financial report also revealed that maintenance costs reflected an increase of 33% over the previous year from R1, 7-billion to R2, 3-billion.

"Aircraft lease costs have increased by 17% from R1,8-billion to R2,1-billion in the current financial year. The increase is largely attributable on the full year impact of aircraft entering fleet during the previous financial year. In addition, the weak rand had a significant impact on this expense item," the report continued.

"Regulatory costs (which include navigation, landing and parking fees) increased by 18% from R1,5-billion in the previous financial year to R1,8-billion in the current year, reflecting the impact of increases in fees charged by Airports Company of South Africa and similar service providers across the global network.

"Commissions and network charges have increased by 13% from R1, 2-billion to R1, 4-billion in the current financial year. There is a direct correlation between these costs and the improvement in airline revenue. Electronic data costs decreased by 11%, primarily due to reduced network costs following the sale of the Galileo reservation/distribution system."

"Operating costs over the past five years have remained well contained compared with the significant increases in fuel and regulatory costs," said SAA Chief Financial Officer, Wolf Meyer.

SAA CEO,Monwabisi Kalawe concluded by saying: "We are confident that we will be able to turn this business around. We have the Long Term Turnaround Strategy in place to make certain that we secure survival as a commercial airline while quickly focusing on the successes that we are beginning to realize."

From Time to time we get requests from readers for assistance-some are easy to handle, others not so as is the case with the request below which comes from Captain Thomas Mildenberger, who flies for what he says is a "bigger German airline."

His email reads in part as follows: "As an intensive hobby, I am researching about a distinctive German sports plane, the Heinkel He64.

"During my research I came across an almost unreadable reproduction of an article about "Little Um tali Forms Gliding Club" in the issue (he does not say which newspaper or magazine) of January 1937, where a picture of the Heinkel sold to a Mr. Perrem is printed."

(For the record, Um tali in those days was part of the then Southern Rhodesia).

Capt .Mildenberger continues: "I am very much interested to get a good reproduction, if possible together with the permit, to show it on my website. I would be very grateful if you could help me acquiring one, since I don't have access here in Germany, except via Internet."

This is a real tough one. It goes back some 77 years.

Is there anyone out there who can help? If so, please contact Capt Mildenberger on his email tmildenberger@netcologne.de or visit his website at http://www.he64.com.please keep me posted as well.

    Blonde In Air Airliner

This piece comes from Ed Hirsch, our US Editor in Miami, and is published here with apologies to all those long-suffering people of the female gender who happen to have blonde hair-real or otherwise:

An airliner is on its way to Toronto, Canada, when a blonde in economy class gets up and moves to the first class section and sits down in an empty seat. The flight attendant watches her do this, approaches her and asks to see her ticket.

She then tells the blonde that she paid for economy class and that she will have to sit in the back.

The blonde replies: "I'm blonde. I'm beautiful. I'm going to Toronto and I'm staying right here."

The flight attendant goes into the cockpit and tells the Captain and the Co-pilot that there is a blonde bimbo sitting in first class, who belongs in economy and wont move back to her seat.

With that, the co-pilot goes back to the blonde and tries to explain that because she only paid for economy she will have to leave and return to her seat.

The blonde replies: I'm blonde .I'm beautiful, I'm going to Toronto and I'm staying right here."

The co-pilot tells the captain that they probably should have the police waiting for them when they land to arrest this blonde woman who won't listen to reason.

The captain thinks for a moment and then says: "You say she is blonde? I'll handle this. I'm married to a blonde. I speak blonde."

Leaving the cockpit, he goes back to the blonde and whispers in her ear.

She looks up at him and says: "Oh, I'm sorry."

Without any further fuss, she gets up and goes back to her seat in economy.

Both the flight attendant and co-pilot are amazed and asked him what he said to make her move without any fuss.

"I told her: "First Class isn't going to Toronto."

    Old Pilots Reflections

The following "reflections" have been doing the rounds for many years and so much so that the identity of the original author has long since faded from memory.

However, they have resurfaced –this time in the newsletter of the Mashonaland Flying Club ( Harare,Zimbabwe) which, in turn ,received them from a member ,who, in turn, received them from a friend in Canada and were ultimately sent to us to pass on to readers. Here goes:

Pilots are people who drive airplanes for other people who can't fly. Passengers are people who say they fly, but really just ride.

Fighter pilots are steely eyed, weapons systems managers who kill badly people and break things. However, they can also be very charming and personable.

The average fighter pilot, despite sometimes having a swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring. However; these feelings don't involve anyone else.

Flying is a hard way to earn an easy living.

Both optimists and pessimists contribute to aviation. The optimist invents the airplane; the pessimist, the parachute.

Death is just nature's way of telling you to watch your airspeed.

As a pilot, only two bad things can happen to you (and one of them will) : Firstly ,One day you will walk out of the aircraft, knowing it is your last flight, or, Secondly, one day you will walk out to the aircraft ,not knowing it is your last flight.

There are rules and there are laws. The rules are made by men who think that they know how to fly your airplane better than you. The laws (of physics) were ordained by God. You can- and sometimes should- suspend the rules, but you can never suspend the laws.

    About Rules

The rules are good place to hide if you don't have a better idea and the talent to execute it. If you deviate from a rule, it must be flawless performance. For example: If you fly under a bridge, don't hit the bridge.

Before each flight, make sure that your bladder is empty and your fuel tanks are full.

He who demands everything that his aircraft can give him is a pilot; he who demands one iota more is a fool.

There are certain aircraft sounds that can only be heard at night and over the ocean. Most of them are scary.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

"If we Wright brothers were alive today, Wilbur would have to fire Orville to reduce costs –this quote is attributed to a former president of Delta Airlines.

In the Alaskan bush, it is better to have a two-hour bladder and three hours of gas than vice verse.

An old pilot is one who can remember when flying was dangerous and sex was safe.

Airlines have really changed; now a flight attendant can get a pilot pregnant.

I've flown in both pilot seats. Can someone tell me why the other one is always occupied by an idiot?

You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Anybody in the market for a new light piston twin will not have to spend much time creating a list of potential aircraft to buy.

As long as we can agree that the French single-seater Cri Cri and the open cockpit Air Cam do not quite cut it as viable options in the quest for a do-it-all twin, there are just a handful of aircraft up for consideration.

If your criteria include bringing along more than three passengers, the list is suddenly narrowed to only two choices. And if you have less than $1-million to spend, you have no choice-you're buying a Piper Seneca V or nothing at all.

That is a sad commentary on the current state of the light piston twin market, but it is not a knock on the Piper Seneca. Just the opposite ,the Piper PA-34 is a classic that's still relevant today-perhaps more relevant than ever in a market offering just two six-seat general aviation piston twins, namely the Seneca V and the pricier Beech Baron G58.

The Seneca has often been thought of as an also-ran to the Baron, known for its crisp handling and vault like build quality. But when you compare them side by side, there is an argument to be made that the Piper Seneca is the smarter choice.

It actually has a more comfortable cabin than the Baron, cruises nearly as fast, can carry almost as much, burns less fuel, costs less to maintain and sells for about $ 300,000 less than the sticker price of a comparable G58.

The Seneca has managed to stay in continuous production for so long by combining a solid airframe with a host of refinements and upgrades inside and out since the first PA-34 rolled out of the Piper factory in 1971. Today's highly evolved Piper Seneca offers what a lot of pilots consider the ideal attributes of a personal airplane: two engines for redundancy in power and systems, respectable performance, stable handling, ice protection, the latest in avionics technology and lots of room in a comfortable cabin.

The latest Piper Seneca V, which is built in Vero Beach, Florida, is the best one yet, thanks to the addition of Garmin G1000 avionics up front and smart improvements inside of what was already one of Gas widest cabins. A lot of aircraft benefit from Garmin technology, but in the Seneca's case, G1000 is precisely what this gracefully aging twin needed.

That it took Piper so long to figure this out is surprising considering the manufacturers emphasis on selling aircraft in the training market, but now that G1000 has arrived in the Seneca V, Tyre-kickers from many parts of the world are sitting up and taking notice.

When Piper introduced the Seneca V in 1997, it represented a major improvement over the Seneca 1V-andin the 17 years since then; Pipers top-of-the-line twin has undergone major changes. For starters, it has courted a dizzying number of avionics suitors before finally settling down with G1000.

First, there was a package centered around the Bendix/King KLN-90B GPS receiver, which was not a bad choice at the time. Later, there was an optional electronic flight information system paired with a Garmin GNS 430/530 combination. Next, Piper offered Avidyne Entegra .And most recently, the Garmin G600 system mated to a pair of GNS430s became the standard avionics package. None of these panels did the Seneca justice, however.

That has all changed with the G1000, which looks as if it was tailor-made for the space. The three-display arrangement fits the wide panel almost perfectly. The upgrade from G600 to G1000 makes a difference not only in the size of the displays (165 versus 264 mm) but also in terms of capabilities. When Piper brought G600 to the Seneca, it seemed like a temporary fix-probably because it was. G1000, on the other hand, elevated the Seneca to a more level playing field with the Baron G58, which also features a G1000 panel.

Seneca's standard avionics package also features an Aspen Avionics standby display, something the Baron lacks. This display provides all the information you would need to keep flying in just about any weather and eliminates the requirement for elector-mechanical back—ups or even a whiskey compass.

Adding the three-display version of G1000 to the Seneca also allowed Piper to get creative with the shape of the glare shield. A flatter design improves the view outside, a change that is especially welcome on approach and during the flare, as I found out when I flew the Seneca V out of Vero Beach with Piper engineering test pilot, John Kronsnoble.

The aircraft I flew was actually the avionics certification test mule with a cabin devoid of the usual club leather seats, plush carpeting and other touches. Still, it was no stretch to imagine what a comfortable long-haul aircraft this would be once all the engineering test gear in back was replaced with production furnishings.

Besides, I didn't really care much about what the cabin looked like-I was too interested with what was new in the panel.

I have been flying G1000-equipped aircraft since the G1000 first emerged, so it is tough for me to get really excited about seeing yet another iteration of the ubiquitous Garmin cockpit. But the G1000 in the Seneca just seems so right-the layout of the engine and systems indications is exceptionally well executed, with no overlapping needles anywhere and flap and gear position indications front and centre on the MFD.

Crew alert messages are easy to read and understand .Among the new features are user-defined holding patterns that can be created at any point in space through a series of menu selections on the MFD. The Seneca's S-Tec 55X autopilot (due for replacement by the Garmin GFC 700 flight control system later this year) will even fly the correct entry for you automatically.

Another welcome upgrade is the selection of the Aspen standby system in lieu of the usual mechanical backups that are normally required in G1000 installations.Together, they provide some exceptional redundancy. There are G1000 primary and backup batteries, dual alternators and a backup battery in the Aspen display-making the chances of a total electrical failure in the Seneca extremely unlikely.

Thanks to the thought that has gone into the avionics design, flying in a degraded avionics mode is really a non-event, Kronsnoble says.

And anyway, not much can go wrong in this aircraft without the pilot being warned about it through the G1000 alerting system.

My initial impressions of the latest Seneca were reinforced when I flew it. In truth, this iteration of the PA-34 handles about the same as any other –and that is a good thing. The Seneca is fun to hand fly and rock solid in roll and pitch, thanks to its constant-chord wing, long ailerons and a nicely weighted stabilator at the back.

The propellers connected to the Seneca's 220 hp Continental TSIO-360-RB engines are counter-rotating, meaning there is no critical engine in an engine-out emergency –another advantage over the Baron.

Those turbocharged Continentals can produce rated power all the way to 19,500 feet. Even down at 12 000 feet, the Seneca can true at 180 knots on 24 gallons( 91 litres) of fuel per hour.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Lined up on Vero Beach's Runway R11, I put the power to the TSIO-360s and rotated in no time. Pitching for the Seneca's best angle airspeed of 83 knots, I retracted the gear once a positive rate was established, and the useable runway slipped away below us.

It was humid day in South Florida, with some scraggly low clouds to man oeuvre around as we climbed briskly in VFR conditions out over the Atlantic. At 5500 feet, I found a slice of airspace to execute a series of man oeuvres, starting with 50-degree steep turns, power-on and –off stalls, and some brisk climbs and descents.

Through it all, power response was smooth and control pressures balanced. The Seneca might not be quite the pilot's airplane that a Baron is, but it is close.

Next, I switched on the autopilot, so Kronsnoble and I could dig deeper into the G1000 system. With some prompting, I was able to programme a hold at my current position and let the autopilot fly a smooth teardrop entry into an oval racetrack pattern.

I then hit the autopilot disconnect switch on the yoke and hand flew a circuit in the hold. It really could not have been easier thanks to the G1000s fight director cues and the Seneca's natural stability keeping us on a precise track.

Some pilots prefer a conventional elevator to the Pipers stabilator, but I had no complaints. It felt right.

For our next technology demonstration, Kronsnoble called up the sitcom page on the MFD and showed me how to place a telephone call. I dialed the number he gave me using the straight forward G1000 interface, and just like that, the phone was ringing in my headset.

Somebody back at the Piper factory picked up and confirmed they heard us loud and clear. They sounded good on our end, too. Thanks to the Iridium satellite networks global coverage, calls can be made and received literally anywhere in the world.

The same goes for emails and next messages sent using the service. (Keep in mind, though, that outgoing calls cost $1, 50 per minute and incoming calls as much as $4 a minute).

There wasn't any icing for us to sample, but this Seneca was fitted with full and approved de-icing equipment. Ice protection is optional, but virtually all Seneca's come with it.

Another option this Seneca had, which is probably well worth the extra cost in hot climates, is PiperAire air conditioning -it will set you back an additional $ 22000, but you'll be glad you sprang for it when the asphalt is scorching.

Piper claims a maximum speed of just over 200 KTAS at the Seneca's 25000-foot ceiling. I saw cruise speeds at our lower altitude on the day of my test of around 173 KTAS .That is still respectable speed, though a bit slower than a turbo-Baron .At 2500 rpm, the aircraft was burning around 12, 5 gph (47 litres) per side .Throttling back slowed us to the mid-150s and fuel burn dropped to around 10 gph (37, 8 litres) per side.

Next, we headed back to the airport to try a few circuits in the pattern.Heres where the Seneca shines, in my opinion. Turning final with two notches of flaps (25 degrees) at 90 knots provides a nicely stabilized descent path.

Once the runway was ensured on my first try, I selected full flaps and rounded out for a nice landing. For the next try, I flew with two notches of flaps all the way down final, which allows for a nice tail-low touchdown.

I found that the reshaped instrument panel affords good visibility in the flare, providing just the right visual cues to ensure consistently smooth arrivals.

Engine-out performance in the Seneca V is respectable, with a single-engine rate of climb at sea level of 253 fpm. That is at a lower speed than some other light twins, too, so the single-engine climb gradient is comparatively better.

At 8000 feet and ISA+10 ,the Seneca V will still climb at better than 143 fpm.Even at 16000 feet and maximum gross weight the aircraft will barely manage a climb, providing just the peace of mind pilots who opt for twins expect.

As mentioned earlier, sales in many countries, notably Brazil, have been a bright spot for Piper, precisely because of the Seneca's engine-out capability. Flight schools are also taking a closer look at the Seneca, along with Pipers other light twin, the Seminole.

It should come as no surprise that there has also been a good deal of renewed interest among personal fliers and even air taxi outfits. Add them all up, and the Seneca V long list of positive attributes compares favorably against the competition.

Not that the Seneca V has much competition ,of course .The Beech craft G58 Baron, Piper Seminole and Diamonds DA42 are the only other all-weather piston twins in production today, and none of them goes head-to-head with the Seneca. The Baron is a better performer with a price tag to match. The DA42 and Seminole seat only four, a limitation that eliminates them from consideration for many light twin shoppers.

That leaves the Seneca in a market niche all of its own.

Piper is doing an admirable job of capitalizing on the dearth of new piston twins in the market by making the Seneca's cabin even more comfortable and convenient with a variety of amenities, including a cooler integrated into the centre armrest.

An attractive two-tone paint scheme is another nice touch in the modern –looking space.

The Seneca's large and comfortable cabin also helps accentuate its big airplane feel, as always.

The fact that buyers are left with few alternatives when shopping for a new light twin should not be a deterrent.

For a great many buyers looking for a complete personal airplane with cockpit technology to match, the Seneca V answers the call.
