Aside from the physical health risks posed to obese children, the emotional risks are obvious. Anyone who thinks that it is the responsibility of other children to become more tolerant is probably morally correct, though living in an unachievable fantasy.

Children cannot help but say what they see, whether said with malicious intent or not, if they notice a child in their class who is overweight, it will at some stage be mentioned.

Of course we can argue that a better and easier solution to the childhood obesity epidemic is to emotionally resource the obese child so that they have self esteem and confidence to such high levels, their emotional resilience cannot be fractured by the taunts of their peers.

The greatest challenge with this particular strategy is that it creates such a huge expectation upon the obese child. We are asking them to behave calmly when faced with teasing, to continue to love themselves when others point out their physical stature and above all, we are asking them to be comfortable about always being, in someway, separate to others.

If you remember being a child and having the experience of being the different one or the odd one out, you'll probably remember at as a lonely time.

As well as the physical health implications caused by childhood obesity, these children are teased and they are likely to be lonely.

Even for those who go onto develop resilience, or even grow stronger from this experience, the memories will always remain. Hoping that they will become thicker skinned adults is a risky business. They might not. They might end up damaged for life.

I implore any parent or guardian who is reading this article to abandon any previous notion that they had in which they told themselves and their obese child that they are fine "just as they are." That others should be more tolerant or that their child has a right to make their own (unhealthy) choices. I urge you to dismiss all excuses about their, or your own inability to exercise.

As a nation we have accepted that hitting your child is an unnecessary an largely unsuccessful form of punishment, that smoking in their presence is harmful and that telling them they are useless or stupid is disempowering. What if we began to view the implications to their emotional development when obese, as having the same consequences as these things? Being obese is unnecessary, harmful and disempowering.

If what I am saying is true, then the very important question that follows, is "What are we going to do about it?"

If we leave the responsibility of change with disempowered obese children we will likely not get far. If we leave the responsibility with parents who feel ill equipped to enforce healthier choices for their child we will also, most probably fail. Surely this indicates that this problem cannot be solved within the confines of the family home without strategic and proven intervention from an outside source.

There is of course no "one size fits all" solution and fortunately there is more than one solution available. So that suggests that there maybe a suitable solution for most families. It's just a case of fitting the right methods for change with the families who will be most receptive to those methods.

At NLP4Kids our practitioners offer a free consultation session so that you and your child can establish whether NLP would be the right form of therapeutic intervention for you. It's also incredibly important to us that you both feel at ease and confident about the child therapist you chose to work with. Often our therapists work with the child directly, with parents directly, and other influencing people around the child and sometimes the whole family in one go.

About The Author: NLP4Kids is a children's education franchise that provides one to one therapy sessions and workshop in the community and in schools for children, teenagers, parents and teachers. We help children to overcome a range of issues from building confidence to overcoming fears, phobias, anxiety, bullying and bereavement. Our qualified and licensed practitioners also help teenagers with self esteem, bullying and exam stress in therapy centres throughout the UK as an alternative to CBT or a CAMHS therapist. Our parenting classes enable parents to develop skills to assist with behaviour and emotional problems with their children and to develop better relationships. In schools we assist teachers in gaining better communication with pupils and to help children with school transition and developing respect in the classroom. http://nlp4kids.org/

I'm one of those people who make "to do" lists on a clean piece of paper and ideally with an ink pen. I'm not sure why writing it in ink makes me feel better about it, I think it just shows a greater level of respect towards the things I need to do if the list itself is well written, instead of on the back of a Tesco receipt.

However some people have lists that they keep in their heads, others keep reminders on their phone and some have the reminders from their wife or boss! However you chose to stop your "to do"'s, I'm going to help you access the motivation you need to get on and do them.

Firstly I'd like you to consider the following set of circumstances.

Not too long ago I had an event taking place in central London. It was one of our NLP events promoting our NLP training. I knew that when I got into London, I had a pretty substantial list of things to get on and do. It was a brand new NLP event and that meant a new set with NLP material and I was also co-hosting with someone and we hadn't had a change to run through the order of the day in advance. I wanted to make sure that I was really clear about certain sections of the day and I'd been planning on sitting down and doing that for weeks. However a whole load of other important things had got in the way and now, here I was at the 11th hour finally getting the time to do it.

I'd just got to my hotel room and was laying out the workbooks and materials for the next day on the double bed so that I could visually see it and decide which task to start with when the phone rang.

It was my assistant calling from the office back in Hertfordshire, to tell me that my dad had been rushed into hospital by ambulance with breathing problems.

My dad had had pneumonia a few months ago so whilst I was anxious, I wasn't too shocked. I phoned the hospital who said that they didn't have any information as the ambulance hadn't got back to the hospital yet. They asked me to call back in 15 minutes.

I realised that one of two things was about to happen, either the hospital would say "You need to get here" or not. If I needed to get there, that meant handing everything over to the co-trainer and heading back to Hertfordshire. My co-trainer isn't an NLP trainer so I wasn't too sure how that was going to work out, so I quickly wrote notes, as comprehensively as I could, which explained the plan for the day. In less than 15 minutes, I had the entire day organised!

I also knew the other option was that the hospital would say it wasn't going to be necessary for me to travel back and that they would keep me updated by phone, in which case I'd just proved to myself that a) I could get organised super fast if necessary and b) The things that I had thought were a priority, suddenly were not.

If you have a "to do" list with tasks that never seem to reach the top, it's simply a case of making those things urgent and more important than anything else to get you motivated. You're never going to "make the time" because you've only got the same amount of time each day, so you're probably going to have to sacrifice something else to be able to do them. The something else might be something unnecessary that takes up loads of time, like checking emails which always takes longer than expected. Or it might be something that you like to do, such as having a cigarette break. Either way, something else is going to have to stop happening for your "to do" list to start happening.

When you decide to embark upon a home learning programme, it can be an exciting time! All of the potential of new knowledge headed in your direction from the comfort of your arm chair and yet as much as I would encourage the personal and professional development this will bring, there are definitely some factors that you should consider before jumping in.

1) Are you someone who finds it easy to motivate yourself? If so then home learning will be a great option for you. You need to be able to tear yourself away from all of the other things you could be doing - watching tv, getting the washing done - what ever it is - in favour of doing the study you have paid to do. As much as you might be excited by this idea at first, think about doing it in say, 6 months time when perhaps your circumstances may change. Even the weather turning hotter or colder can change our habits in our free time. Will you still make time for home study then?

2) Are you a procrastinator by nature? If you are someone who takes ages to get started with things - for example leaving things until the 11th hour or not doing them at all because you just kept putting it off, then a home learning programme might be a struggle for you. That doesn't mean you should avoid it altogether, but perhaps you should first learn some skills to help you overcome the procrastination before you start to attempt to layer in learning. Techniques within NLP can prove to be useful to overcome procrastination.

3) Do you need people around you to feel like you are progressing? Some people need integration with others, not just from a social angle but to measure their progress against their peers. With home learning you miss this vital element and you will need to be proactive at reaching out to others in order to fill that void. For others this kind of lone working is a blessing as they find themselves better able to concentrate and they make progress faster. If that is you, then home learning may be a very useful option for you but it will still be important to make sure you schedule time to speak to and interact with others, whether they are going through the same learning process or not. You will find that as a result of "stepping away" from your work from time to time, you give you mind an opportunity to clear itself and make room for new ideas to be created. Even people who have no knowledge of the subject you are studying may inspire you in some useful way that becomes a useful addition to the work you are undertaking.

These are just a few points that are worthy of your consideration before embarking on a home learning programme. It's not to say that if you suffer with one or even all of the challenges above that home learning isn't for you, it's more the case that in having awareness of them you should find effective ways to overcome them before you begin your home learning programme.

Defining addiction can be a tricky business. After all, we all have addictions that we allow to go unnoticed. Plenty of people are addicted to coffee, falling in love, sugar and other random things that we have just accepted as part of life.

We seem to have accepted too, that a glass of wine after a day's work is perfectly alright too. Maybe for some that is two or three glasses, for others it's a bottle.

So at what point is that habit a problem? At what stage of regular drinking do you have a drinking problem? When does the label "alcoholic" apply?

For some, being an alcoholic means being drunk, almost daily, at unreasonable times of the day. But drinking a bottle of wine or two on a weekday evening is just the done thing. It has no bearing on alcoholism. Could they stop if they wanted to? Possibly, but perhaps only if there was a shake up of their circumstance that changed their drinking routine.

So what are you if you are not a drunk-all-day-every-day alcoholic but you are a habitual drinker and it's got a little out of hand?

You are an addict. At our hypnotherapy and NLP Clinic in Hertfordshire we help people with all kinds of addiction to regain control.

Unless you can make a conscious decision to not drink any alcohol that day and stick to it, then you are addicted. If it would cause you problems, distress or discomfort to go without it, you are addicted and it's important to break that cycle. Hypnotherapy works with the unconscious part of your mind which is much more powerful than the conscious and to to achieve success in breaking a habit or addiction, you need to have agreement in both parts of your mind.

Not only is alcohol damaging to your body when you have large quantities over long periods, but after a time the effects start to wear off, and you need more to get the same level of relaxation or whatever other escapism it allowed you to have.

In preparing to stop drinking, it's important from a dependancy perspective that you wean yourself off gradually rather than stopping altogether one day. People who participate in "Dry January" after a spell of drinking through the festive season often have some uncomfortable side effects because they are experiencing a come down too rapidly. It's better to formulate a plan of phasing the alcohol out of your life gradually and in a realistic way than to knock it on the head overnight.

Think about what would happen when you give it up. It's like that you will sleep better, be sharper and brighter throughout the day and save your liver and kidneys in the future.

Then consider what would happen if you didn't give it up. What the day to day implications would be and the long term effects on your health.

Go back to the positive results of having achieved it and notice how much better that feels.

If you feel that you are influenced, either by your own tendency to sabotage your efforts, or by others who will continue drinking, you may benefit from some help in stopping drinking alcohol. Hypnotherapy is both safe and effective for those who wish to stop drinking, whether you are an alcoholic or just have an unhealthy relationship with it.

In the holistic professionals industries there is a great need for practitioners to undertake regular CPD. Many trainings such as NLP, Hypnotherapy and even coaching offer a "train once" qualification. That qualification then lasts for a lifetime with no body overseeing the work carried out by that individual, and very little security for the clients they encounter.

One of the biggest problems for unregulated industries such as these is the lack of emphasis on CPD (continual professional development)

This means that professionals may have trained long ago, leaving their clients at best risking the use of out of date techniques and solutions and at worst, in the hands of a therapist who has forgotten or lost their skills.

To jump from a situation of no regulation over CPD (continued professional development) to one where it is mandatory would be to big a pill for many practitioners to swallow. Many holistic therapists work part time, or are only using their skills in a non formal way. Imposing such regulations on these individuals would be unfruitful and unnecessary. Then rises the question "How do you draw the line between those who are truly professional and those who just "dabble?"

The answer has to come in the form of self regulated CPD. It is the perfect way for hypnotherapists, NLP Practitioners, coaches and the like to define themselves in the level of activity the undertake in their working practice and the level of professionalism they wish to demonstrate to those that they work with.

It makes perfect sense that those who wish to demonstrate a high level of professional conduct would indeed already participate in regular CPD and that they would ensure that their clients are aware of this.

CPD Approved is a vehicle for such professionals to not only formally demonstrate to their clients that they do undertake regular CPD, but also gives them an opportunity to encompass this within their marketing strategy, an area which many NLP Practitioners, hypnotherapists and professional coaches often struggle with.

It also means that they are able to have a better structure to their CPD. Rather than just adding to their skills or revisiting forming training elements when they feel it is a good time, or when they realise a lack of knowledge, instead the practitioner is encouraged to plan ahead with their CPD with the use of CPD points.

It becomes necessary for the therapist to measure their proactivity on an annual basis and to find accessible ways to increase their CPD activity if they find that they are low on points that year.

Information is available to us in many forms, and as such CPD may include live training, journals, books and even online videos. There is no excuse for not doing CPD and as a member of CPD approved you are able to demonstrate to your client base that you do it.

If you are a holistic therapist and you are interested in becoming a member of CPD approved, you can do so by visiting this page: http://www.cpdapproved.org/membership-for-individuals

We can all remember being in that weird period of time between childhood and adulthood and for some young people, this transitioning time is particularly testing.

There are all sorts of changes happening - physical, hormonal and even additional pressures academically which stress out teenagers. It would be easy to attribute anger and outbursts to these alone, and in some cases it might be accurate to do so, however repeated unreasonable reactions from your teenager could indicate that there are other reasons behind their emotions that can be resolved.

You see the problem with blaming their hormones is that it instantly puts the problem outside of your control and theirs. Hormones strike us as these random things that arrive in our body, uninvited and mess up the systems we used to have install new ones and drive us a bit mad along the way! This leaves us totally at their mercy and only able to re-stabilise when they eventually decide to settle down or make an exit. It leaves parents unsure who they are speaking to when they try to converse with their teenager - are their questions or suggestions going to lead to a sigh, a grunt or an outrageous response?

This kind of behaviour can unsettle the entire household and it really isn't accurate to believe that you have to wait for the phase to pass.

Some therapists believe that if you do not have a toddler with temper tantrums, they will be acted out when that child becomes a teenager. If they then miss that opportunity too, they will be likely to have a midlife crisis later on. I do not know how accurate these ideas are, but one thing is for sure. You wouldn't just sit back and wait for your toddlers temper tantrum phase to pass subjecting the entire family to hell in the meantime. You would be responding to their behaviour, and coming up with strategies to better manage things, reward systems and structures. You might even consider the influencers on your toddlers behaviour - is there anything that is making the unsettled or anxious that is causing their temper tantrums? Now if you would do all of that for a toddler, how is a teenager any different?

It is still important to respond to teenage anger, just because they are teenagers, it doesn't make their behaviour excusable. However by the time they have reached teenager time, your position of authority has changed and very often an outside influence may be helpful.

As a teen therapist in Hertfordshire, I am able to work with you and your teenager to identify any unmentioned problems that your teen is experiencing and also to help you, as a parent to begin to develop better strategies for responding to their angry behaviour.

It can be incredibly helpful for you teenager to have someone other than you to talk to. Sometime the Hertfordshire teenagers I work with will disclose worries and anxieties. I like to respect their confidentiality when possible, but I never promise to keep secrets especially if the underlying issue is one that is important for a parent to know about or act upon.

If you have an angry teenager and you are based in Hertfordshire, you can contact me for a free consultation. I'm an expert at getting even the grumpiest teenager to open up and talk!

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Since 2007, Singapore started walking on the path of XBRL (Extendable Business Reporting Language). In 2007 only, the Accounting and Corporate Regulator Authority (ACRA) made it compulsory for the Singapore incorporated companies to file their financial statements in either full or partial XBRL format. ACRA implemented XBRL Filing with a motive to promote greater transparency in the corporate sector, thereby enhancing business reporting and the way information flows. In addition to that, ACRA also expects that by looking and by tapping at the XBRL enabled data, Singapore incorporated companies can speed up their business decision-making process.

Right from October 2013, Singapore embarks on the new and updated stage of XBRL reporting. All the Singapore incorporated companies, unless exempted will have to file a full set of financial statements in XBRL. The good thing is ACRA Has made available a new business financial information portal called BizFin to help companies bring ease and convenience to overall XBRL filing requirement.

-> What is XBRL Filing?

The full form of XBRL is Extensible Business Reporting Language. This is a computer language used in the IT sector to present the financial data. This data is presented in such a manner that it can be retrieved from the online records and directly transferred to the different users such as auditors, accountants, financial analysts etc., for different purposes.

-> Why You Need XBRL Filing?

With a belief that the use of XBRL filing will help in achieving the objectives of facilitating business in Singapore, ACRA has mandated the submission of financial reports in XBRL format. Besides, ACRA also believes that XBRL filing will enhance the offering of value-added financial information subsequently bringing about optimistic changes in the regulatory environment of Singapore. In addition to that, it is also expected to bring improved transparency and along with the timely dispersion of relevant financial information.

-> Who Is Exempt and Who Needs to File?

Companies incorporated in Singapore, either unlimited or limited by shares, that are already filing their financial statements with ACRA will have to file a full set of financial statements in XBRL format ,as per the minimum requirement list within the ACRA Taxonomy 2013.

Henceforth, Option B or partial XBRL filing that was available under the previous XBRL system will no longer be available.

Exempt companies will have to file their financial statements in PDF with FSH in XBRL format. The exempt companies that need not have to file a full set of financial statements in XBRL format are

Companies registered with the Monetary Authority of Singapore like banks, registered insurers, finance companies, etc.

Companies allowed by law to file their financial statements or prepare their accounts in different accounting standards other than SFRS, IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and SFRS for small entities.

Insolvent EPCs, on the other hand has two options to file their financial statements with ACRA. Either to file a full set of financial statements in XBRL or to file full set in PDF along with FSH in XBRL format.

Companies limited by guarantee, foreign companies, and their branches will continue to file their financial statements in PDF format.

-> What is a BizFin˟ Preparation Tool?

ACRA offers BizFin˟-Preparation Tool without any charge for facilitating companies to prepare XBRL financial statements in accordance with the revised XBRL filing requirements.

The BizFin˟-Preparation Tool offers two types of highlighted errors; genuine and possible errors, as part of the validation checks in XBRL financial statements.

The BizFin˟-Preparation Tool is helpful in using the Annual General Meeting Financial Statements either in MS word or in MS Excel format as a source document. This source document can be used for different purposes like copying and pasting the source document as a full set of financial statements and for auto tagging or for drag-and-drop functions.

-> What is Meant By Validation Checks in XBRL Filing?

For your financial statements to be accepted as Annual Return Filing, the XBRL financial statements prepared by companies will have to pass the validation checks. As of now, there are three stages of validation checks BizFin˟-Preparation Tool, BizFin˟ Portal and Annual Return in BizFile.

The BizFin˟ tool is integrated with a specific set of business rules to validate the provided documents and generate results in two major categories Genuine and Possible errors.

Genuine errors need to be rectified before filing. By any chance, if the highlighted errors are not valid for the XBRL financial statements you have submitted, then you will have to apply for the exemption from the specific XBRL Filing format under BizFin˟ Portal.

Possible errors warn highlighting areas where the filed XBRL data might contain errors. It is necessary to rectify the errors in your XBRL data; but, if your XBRL data are free of errors, simply ignore the warnings without changing anything. Just make sure to click the provided checkboxes in BizFin˟ Portal, as a confirmation, that the uploaded XBRL data in the file are correct.

-> How to File?

As mentioned earlier, ACRA offers BizFin˟-Preparation Tool free of charge via a BizFile Website. Log into the website understand and complete all the procedures and prepare a comprehensive XBRL report all by yourselves. Although this is very complicated and time-consuming process, you definitely will save some money if you file your XBRL statements using this option.

Or else, leave all your worries aside, save your valuable time and get rid of the headache by engaging a professional firm like SBS Consulting offering competitive and cost effective XBRL Filing services.

There is a dearth of natural resources in Singapore, which imposes great limitations on what this city-state can do to further its growth. The Singapore leaders wisely decided to invest in the service industry. Realizing the potential of the field of accountancy, they decided to focus on it.

They vowed to make Singapore an accountancy hub, by the year 2020. Singapore leaders, government officials, accountants, Singapore accounting service providers and so many others put in their concerted efforts to realize it.

What is Meant by Singapore Financial Reporting

Today, Singapore has established itself as a force to reckon with in the field of accountancy. Accounting and audit services in Singapore like, SBS Consulting, practice Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) while delivering their services. Financial reporting for the annual financial periods starting on or after 1 January 2003, must confirm with the stipulations of the FRS.

Singapore Financial Reporting Standards

In 2002, Singapore took some game changing decisions to bring important changes in the way audited financial statements are prepared and presented. They dropped Statements of Accounting Standards (SAS) issued by The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS).

They choose to implement section 37 of the Companies (Amendment) Act 2002, and move on to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS). The FRS is an outcome of the efforts of a body that goes by the name of the Council on Corporate Disclosure and Governance or CCDG. The body also gave its consent for the adoption of all international interpretations as that of the Singapore FRSs.

Statutory Requirements for the Companies in Singapore

Unless exempted, each Singapore company is required to table its audited financial statements before its Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Companies Act of Singapore also mandates that such documents should not be more than six months old. Under the current Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, financial statements comprise balance sheet, cash flow statement, income statement, statement of changes in the equity of the company and the explanatory notes.

In addition to these documents, the company must also file reports prepared by its auditors' and directors'. They must also supply a document signed by the directors of the company, vouching its solvency and ability pay its own debts.

Appointing an Auditor is a Must

As the part of legal requirements of company formation in Singapore, every company, unless it is exempt must appoint at least one auditor within the three months of its incorporation. It must follow all the norms laid down by the Accountants act.

The appointee must be experienced and qualified enough to consume the financial statements, in order to prepare an auditor's report for the government regulators, creditors, management and the shareholders of the company. External as well as internal audit reports are prepared by the experienced auditing firms in Singapore. They are very useful for these individuals in decision making.

Filing of Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI)

Within three months from the end of each financial year, each Singapore registered company must file its Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) with the Inland Revenue Authority (IRAS) of Singapore. The filing is mandatory even when the ECI to file is 'NIL'. The company must file a 'NIL' ECI statement with the IRAS.

Filing of Annual Tax Returns with the IRAS

The Singapore companies pay their taxes on the preceding year basis. Profits earned by them in the financial year, ending in the preceding year are taxed accordingly. They must abide by the due date of November 30, for filing their tax returns. Reliable tax services in Singapore assist their clients in efficient tax filing.

Companies lucky Enough to Get an Audit Exemption

Failing to follow Singapore FRS, at the time of preparation of financial statements or to file them is taken as the breach of the Companies Act. It is the responsibility of the directors and they may get penalized for failing in it.

The Singapore law exempts a few of the companies from the statutory auditing of their financial statements. Small exempt private companies having less than S$5 million revenue and the dormant companies are exempted from these requirements. They also need not appoint an auditor. However, they must still prepare their accounts and consolidated accounts, if required, as per the stipulations of FRS.

Article Title: Debunking the Five Common Myths Related to Use and Implementation of EHR Systems

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Although the modern EHR systems are too much comprehensive and well integrated, the race for adopting these systems is very slow. Especially small medical practitioners and small health facilities have second thoughts on investing in a good clinical management system. Maybe it's due to the fervor mounting around Electronic Health Record Management system, wherein federal legislations are threatening heavy fines for non-compliance by 2016. Either way, already EHRs do face too many barriers in terms of myths and misinformation leading to increased errors in implementation path thereby driving runaway costs of EHR systems.

Common Myths Surrounding EHR or Clinic Management Software

Myth#1 – EHR Implementation Means IT Project Installation

To some extent, EHR is an IT project, but remember that it does not entirely belong to the IT sector. EHR has actually been an enabling technology, which is a small part of the larger initiative developed and designed to assist physicians. The modern EHR is so designed that the physicians and clinics using it eventually demonstrate enhanced value of their services, resulting in efficient and economical clinic management.

A good EHR system is a result achieved after mutual efforts from health as well as IT departments. EHR enables health care providers in offering better health services that demonstrate greater value to patients and other health care providers thereby creating a better competitive market position. With the competitive edge, it becomes easier for health practitioners take advantage of government incentives, avoiding government penalties and access pay-for-performance program for capturing better market share.

Myth#2 EHR Systems are comprehensively developed requiring No Modifications

This is a common myth amongst medical practitioners as most of the EHR software vendors mislead them while praising their systems. EHR systems are surely advantageous and usable but not useful directly out of the box. Like every other software systems, an EHR also needs customization and modifications to meet the exact user requirements.

Customizing visit templates, building patient registries, customizing sheets for chronic disease management flow and addition of evidence-based decision features are some of the specific customization requirements that vary by type of the medical practitioner. The major challenge and requirement for modern clinic management software is to customize it for interfacing with the other systems.

Myth#3 All the EHR Systems are the same

Initially o surface, it appears that all the EHR systems are same with the same capabilities and limitations. However, in reality each EHR system behaves and functions differently. Selecting wrong clinic management software might lead to wrong implementation, decreased adoption and increased investment.

A comprehensive and suitable EHR system is one that offers effective ROI and host enterprise capabilities. Such software will have multiple specialties, integrated practice management system, elegant reporting style, and easy user interface, readily customizable and easily affordable. Above all, such software can be easily integrated with the other software's like inventory and accounting.

Myth#4 EHR Systems are designed to communicate with Each Other

Please understand this is a myth and in no way it is possible for two EHRs to communicate unless they are programmed to do so. In fact, different EHR systems developed by the same vendor seldom communicate with each other. However, it is possible to make different EHR systems communicate with one another by developing specific programs, which is a bit complicated and time-consuming procedure.

Myth#5 Implementing EHR Makes Users Practice Isolated From Other Practitioners

As of now, the days of keeping your practice isolated or of isolated practice are over. It is mandatory for health practitioners to get out of their shells to communicate and coordinate with other practitioners. By sharing patient information, it is possible to bring about safe, effective and efficient patient care environment in clinics and healthcare facilities.

A comprehensive EHR system makes patient information sharing easier with convenient features without jeopardizing the safety and security of other data. Apart from that, this enables individual practitioners to take advantage of decreased costs, economies of scale, create new streams of revenue and establish a market advantage by creating an information sharing community between different EHRs.

So, you have heard how the flexible Singapore taxation system is; but have you heard how difficult it is to comply with the taxation laws in Singapore. Well! Apart from so many laws to comply with, IRAS implies that it is mandatory for each Singapore Company to file their Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) within three months starting from the end of the financial year.

What actually is ECI?

Estimated Chargeable Income is the full form of ECI and is the net chargeable income for a company in a single Year of Assessment (YA). Out of so many corporate compliance requirements, filing estimated chargeable income is one of the necessary IRAS compliance guidelines. IRAS has specifically mandated that it is necessary for every Singapore incorporated business to submit an ECI for the next YA within three months after the end of previous financial year. By any chance there happens to be any company having a net income in any YA then such companies will have to file a 'NIL' ECI.

Who Is Eligible to File an ECI?

All the companies incorporated in Singapore need to submit their Estimated Chargeable Income irrespective of their size, type or status.

Usually IRAS sends a notification to all the eligible companies for filing their ECI at the end, ie in the last month (December) of the financial year. By any reason, if any company does not receive ECI Filing notification from IRAS, it is expected that such companies proactively submit their Estimated Chargeable Income within three months after starting the new financial year.

It happens that due to different reasons chargeable income of a company is zero in a specific financial year. Still, such companies are required to file a NIL ECI except if the company has qualified for any administrative concession.

What happens if your Company has submitted more/less ECI than the Actual Chargeable Income?

Possibilities can't be denied that some companies submit more ECI than the actual chargeable income reported in their Form C or Form CS. In such scenario, the excess tax paid earlier by those companies will automatically be refunded back to them.

On the contrary, ECI submitted by some companies often turns out to be less than the actual chargeable income reported in their Form c or Form CS. Such companies need to pay their additional taxes within 30 days from the notice of assessment date.

IRAS further makes it clear that if there happens to be a significant difference between submitted ECI and the chargeable income mentioned in Form C or Form CS then, such companies will have to provide a satisfactory explanation.

Analyzing and Understanding the Estimated Chargeable income

According to IRAS, "Estimated Chargeable Income is the appraisement of a company's chargeable income for the concerned Year of Assessment that is considered unique for every Singapore Company Setup". A well-furbished ECI statement contains no mention of gained or disposed fixed assets, but only estimated revenue company will be generating in the current fiscal year.

Usually, Singapore companies were disclosing their taxable income or the net generated revenue for their Income Tax Returns (Form-C). Since 1 January 2009, IRAS made it mandatory for the companies to mention possible revenue amount in the ECI form as well.

IRAS thinks that submitting ECI is like predicting the annual performance of the company and this key economical data helps IRAS to plan and strategize the further development of businesses and industries in Singapore.

Administrative Concession or Waiving Requirement to File ECI

Criteria for Companies to Qualify

Upon meeting below two conditions, companies are not required to file their Estimated Chargeable Income

-> If annual revenue of your company is less than $1 million in a specific financial year

-> If your ECI is Nil

Criteria for Other Entities to Qualify

Entities that are exempt from filing ECI are as follows

-> Foreign ship owners or Charterers for whom the local shipping agent has or will be submitting

-> Foreign universities Designated Unite Trusts and Approved CPF unit Trusts

-> Real Estate Investment Trusts having earned tax treatment under Section 43(2) of the Income Tax Act

-> Other special entities granted waiver to submit ECI by IRAS like issuance of advance ruling

What Advantages Companies Get For Filing ECI

• Companies submitting their ECI earlier receive a complementary gift from IRAS wherein they are provided with an option of a flexible payment scheme to pay their taxes.

• Earlier the submissions of ECI, higher are the chances of bestowing payment installments.

• For example, the company's e-filing their ECI until 26th in the first month of the new financial year receive almost 10 payment installments for paying their taxes. If the ECI is filed by 26 of the second month in the new financial year; then, such companies get 8 installments to pay their taxes and 6 installments for the companies filing their ECI on the 26th of the third month in the new financial year.

An Overview of Goods and Service Tax in Singapore

In Europe, you will find VAT (Value Added Tax) structure, but in Singapore, you will come across much compatible and friendlier GST (Goods and Service Tax). As of now, GST is imposed on almost all the goods and services rendered in Singapore as well as on the imported goods into Singapore.

In simple terms, if a taxable person offers goods and services, then he/she is liable to pay GST and any person importing goods in Singapore is liable to pay the required GST. The GST is broadly divided into three categories of goods and services

1) Standard Rated Items (Including commercial property transactions) 7% GST is taxable

2) Zero Rated goods for export and international services

3) Exempt items, as if, sale and lease of residential land or provision of transaction of Asian Ca Currency Unit transactions, life insurances and interest charges

When most of the domestic good and service supplies are considered standard rated, exported goods and international services are considered as Zero Rated under Singapore GST. Although zero-rated goods and services are allowed to obtain or ask for a refund on GST paid during their purchases.

According to IRAS, companies already have crossed S$1 million turnover in the past 12 months. In addition to that, new businesses confident enough to increase their turnover above S$ 1 million in next 12 months, are entitled to opt for GST Filing Singapore as per compliance norms.

Procedure for GST Registration

Private or sole proprietorship firms should opt for a Singapore Goods and Services Registration Form No 1. Then attach all the supporting documents, mentioned in the form. Lastly, send it to the Tax Authority of Singapore. Having done this, you become a GST registered business entity. On the other hand, partnership along with GST Form1 should opt for GST Form2, which is provided to furnish the details of all the partners in the company.

For group registration, divisional registration and overseas companies, there is a different procedure and the different set of forms to be fulfilled for GST registration.

Usually, overseas registrants are mandatory to seek assistance from the local GST Filing firm or agent in Singapore on their behalf, ensuring to attach a letter with the form stating the same.

It takes about three weeks to complete the entire GST registration process. Upon successful registration, businesses receive a GST Registration Letter. This letter will contain GST number, filing frequency for the registered business, due dates for GST Quarterly Filing and any other instructions if any. Make sure you prefer electronic GST Filing, whenever you are filing or paying your GST Returns.

Filing GST Returns

Every registered GST business depending on their accounting cycle (normally on a quarterly basis), has to submit a return, GST Form5, to the respected Tax Authorities in Singapore. In this return form GST registered businesses will need to mention the predicted value of the local sales, purchases and exports from the GST bound entities. Al these should be within the parameters of GST claimed, as well as GST collected for the specific accounting period.

These days Singapore government motivates electronic GST Quarterly Filing from all the GST registrants. Therefore, once if you submit your GST F5 online, then from next time onwards your GST filing will be made online at the end of each year's accounting cycle.

Even after the end date of the accounting period, you are allowed to e-file GST F5 one day later. Just make sure IRAS receives your GST returns in not more than a month after the end of the prescribed period of your accounting cycle.

Submit a 'NIL' returns if your business does not have any due taxes in said period. Irrespective of whether your GST is refundable or payable, harsh penalties will be imposed on the businesses failing to File GST return within the prescribed date.

It is better to pay the entire GST within one month after the end of your accounting cycle. Failure to comply with this one-month extension will make you liable for penalties by IRAS. Lastly, the GST refund requires not more than 30 days for complete reimbursement from the date of receipt of return.

Do I have to file the tax? Whom shall I contact for it? Where shall I pay it? These are few of the questions that swirl in the minds of new taxpayers all over the world. The Singapore tax filing also makes some of the new taxpayers both, individual and business owners to scratch their head.

Luckily, these individuals can go to Singapore tax filing firms like, SBS Consulting, to get their tax related problems solved. The firm employs qualified and experienced Certified Professional Accountants (CPAs), auditors and tax consultants. These professionals do use their industry-wide experience to fulfill the statutory compliance criteria imposed by the authorities. In short, they make it painless for their clients to file and pay their taxes.

Goods and Service Tax (GST) in Singapore

Singapore companies have to pay different types of taxes. Along with the other taxes some of the companies need to pay Goods and Service Tax (GST). Singapore tax filing services help their clients in determining whether they qualify for the GST registration in Singapore.

GST is a consumption tax. Whenever a service or goods are delivered in Singapore by a GST registered business, a 7% of GST is applied to its cost. When the time is ripe, these traders need to pass on, or file the GST collected till-date, to the IRAS' coffers. The idea behind implementing the GST was to lessen Singapore's dependence on the direct taxes like, personal and corporate income tax and to charge the expenditure on the consumption.

Who Qualifies for the GST registration in Singapore?

If the turnover of a business for the last 4 quarters exceeds S$1 Million or if it expects the turnover to cross the S$ 1 million mark in the next 4 quarters, then the business is eligible for GST registration. It is a compulsory move for such a business.

Alternatively, a business, for tax purposes, can decide to opt for voluntary GST registration. Whatever the case, the expert and qualified professionals employed by the Singapore tax services assist their clients in sorting out the case.

GST filing in Singapore

Singapore tax filing services also provide their guidance in determining whether their clients need special GST filing cycle or they can do with the normal, quarterly GST filing cycle. If the client requires a special GST filing cycle, then these firms plead the client's case with the IRAS.

Most of the GST registered business opt for a quarterly cycle of GST filing in Singapore and in addition to other taxes, like, company tax, withholding tax, property tax, etc., pay their GST regularly.

The annual tax filing is the responsibility of the owners and directors of the companies. The government agency that goes by the name of Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, is a tough nut to crack. Its officials are very strict about tax compliance from the taxpayers and do not tolerate any mistake or tax evasion in the tax filing statements. Offenders, generally, face imprisonment or fines or both.

Many times couples who are filing for divorce agree as to how the custody of the children should go, how much child support should be, and how visitation should be set up. Unfortunately, there are some couples who make these issues a major battleground and no matter how much mediation they go through there is no agreement. When no agreement has been reached, the couple finds themselves in court at a child custody hearing being represented by custody attorneys.

When going into a child custody hearing make sure that you are calm because you will not accomplish anything worthwhile if you are in an emotional state. You need to put the child's needs before yours and think of their best interest. Look at the situation from your child's point of view. One important thing to remember before going into a child custody hearing is that the courts no longer automatically grant the mother custody of the children. Today the custody rights are based on the best interest of the child.

One of the first things that you need to do is a self-evaluation. You need to remember that honesty is the best policy in these hearings. Simply put having a custody hearing is because neither party can agree on child custody. This is sometimes because both parties are bitter at each other. As result, it is possible that the custody attorney of both parties is going to have everyone looking at each parent through a microscope. The judge will not only be focusing on the parenting skills of the parents but also looking at each one as an individual. If there are any skeletons in your closet that could affect the outcome of the custody hearing let your custody attorney know. Be prepared with a reasonable explanation because this will help to make your case stronger. Do not defend your wrongs but just accept them and show the judge how you have dealt with them effectively.

When talking to a custody attorney both parents will be evaluating their soon-to-be ex-spouse so again honesty is the best policy and view them as outsider would. It might be hard try to be impartial in your views when you are talking about the weak and strong points of them but by doing this neither the judge nor their custody attorney will be able to charge you with vindictive behavior. You will look like someone who is more focused on the child. You want what is best for him or her and not as someone who wants to get back at the other parent.

Make sure that you have all documents to support your case such as:

• Proof of financial stability

• Any witnesses that you have who can show how you are with the children

• Any police records or medical reports if the other parent has been abusive to the children along with any witnesses to this behavior

Just bring anything else that would show that you would be the best parent to have custody of the child or children to the custody hearing.

If you have an air conditioner it is important that it works well because when it does you are saving money and energy along with keep your home cool during the summer months. Many things can be wrong with your air conditioner and cause it not to work properly. Some you can fix but if it is something major then you may need to call an AC repair contractor. It may run but not doing a good job cooling the room, leaking or dripping water or just does not work at all.

If your air conditioner does not automatically come on when it receives the signal from the thermostat that the house needs cooling it is probably because the thermostat is not working right. The first thing that you should do is make sure that you have the thermostat set to cool. The temperature setting should also be below the ambient temperature. If these are all correct then you will need to check the main electrical panel to see if there is a blown fuse or a tripped breaker. If either of these are the problem you will need to replace the fuse or reset the breaker.

If it is not a fuse or breaker problem you need to check the outdoor unit to make sure the power switch is not turned off and that the furnace power switch is turned on. Next to the compressor is a two-hundred forty volt disconnect metal box that needs to be on. The last thing that you want to check out if none of these is the problem is the thermostat itself. First make sure that you have turned off the power before you do any air conditioning repair. To check the thermostat you need to remove the cover and unscrew the wire from the Y terminal and then turn the power back on. Make sure that you are holding the wire by the insulation and touch the end that is bare to the R terminal. If the compressor kicks on you have a faulty thermostat, which you can replace. If the compressor does not come on after a couple of minutes you need to turn off the power and call an AC repair technician.

If it is not cooling like it should even though you can hear it running there are two things that could cause this problem. You should first try to clean it so that the air is flowing properly but make sure that you have turned it off first. You should make sure that there are no leaves or debris around the outdoor condenser. If this does not help you will need to call an AC repair contractor to recharge the coolant.

Most air conditioners will create significant condensation that will usually exit through a plastic drainpipe so if you notice water at the base of the air conditioner it could be leaking from this tube. You can fix this problem by cleaning out the tube or replacing it.

Today we will know about FZ1200R12KL4C, a 1200A/1200V IHM 130mm single switch IGBT power transistor module with IGBT2 low loss and Emitter Controlled Diode. The weight of this device is 8.82 lbs. It is the perfect choice for your industry applications such as Motor Control and Drives, Solar Energy Systems, Wind Energy Systems, Uninterruptable Power Supplies, and etc. It is manufactured by famous German manufacturer Infineon Technologies who are specialist in making semiconductors and system solutions by targeting the primary needs of our modern society. Infineon was known as Eupec previously in the world of technology.

High reliableness and solid module construction are the features for which FZ1200R12KL4C is exceptional. This module is recognized by UL too. We will be eligible to get some extra advantages if we use this transistor in our industry applications. High power density can be achieved for compact inverter designs by using this. Standardized housing is another attribute which makes FZ1200R12KL4C unique.

We are going to have a discussion about the implementation of FZ1200R12KL4C in solar inverters.

Solar power has a large potential to provide the electricity needs of the world's burgeoning population. However, in 2008 solar-power supplied less than 0.02% of the world's total energy supply.

A solar inverter converts variable direct current (DC) output of a photovoltaic (PV) solar array panel to AC voltage. The energy produced from solar panels is used to power household appliances directly, charge batteries or feed electricity directly back to the grid in return for credit against future power bills. All of these applications need AC voltage. The DC voltage produced by the solar array must be converted into a desired well regulated AC power by using an IGBT based inverter. FZ1200R12KL4C provides advantages in solar inverter applications compared to other types of power devices. It delivers low conduction and switching losses resulting in high inverter efficiency. Benefits like high-current-carrying capability, gate control using voltage instead of current and the ability to match the co-pack diode are found when FZ1200R12KL4C is used as the power device in solar inverters.

FZ1200R12KL4C has some major advantages over MOSFETs and bipolar transistors. First, it has very low on-state voltage drops because of the conductivity modulation, in addition to superior on-state current density. These factors allow manufacturers to fabricate devices with smaller chip size and at lower cost. Second, these boast low driving power and simple driving circuits due to the input MOS gate structure. It is simpler to control compared to current controlled devices such as bipolar transistors. Third, FZ1200R12KL4C has fantastic forward and reverse blocking capabilities. These characteristics encourage designers to select this IGBT module for solar inverter applications.

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

FZ1200R12KF5 is a TRANS IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) module N-CH 1200V 78A 7Half-Bridge. This module is manufactured by Infineon Technologies, Germany previously familiar as Eupec who is one of the prime manufacturers and suppliers of semiconductors and system solutions. The best applications of FZ1200R12KF5 are DC motor control, NC equipment, AC motor control, contactless switches, electric furnace temperature control, light dimmers & welders. In case of power & energy, efficiency, mobility and security are three basic needs of this modern society. Infineon has sorted their product lineup by considering these facts. FZ1200R12KF5 is an IGBT device that combines the voltage characteristics of a biopolar transistor (collector – emitter) and the drive characteristics of a MOSFET.

Prior to 1990s, the only available power semiconductor switching device was silicon GTO which had the power manipulation capability compatible for motor control applications. In the 1990s, the ratings of IGBTs had adequately advanced, to exceed one Mega-Watt allowing penetration of the IGBT into this traction market. The availability of the IGBT allowed significant improvements in the motor drive technology due to elimination of snubber circuits and an increase in the operating frequency of the inverter circuit used to deliver power to the motors. FZ1200R12KF5 is an IGBT device from Infineon which is used frequently for electric motor control.

The Motor Control Unit (MCU) is the vital part of a 100% electric-powered vehicle as it handles and regulates the electrical power supply to the electric motor to generate the necessary level of torque to power the vehicle by converting the battery packs DC voltage into three-phase AC. Inversely, the MCU is responsible for managing the electrical energy that is generated by the regenerative braking system and is fed back into the lithium-ion battery pack.

The crucial electrical components accommodated within the Motor Control Unit are a smoothing condenser to help stabilize the DC current, several FZ1200R12KF5 convert the DC electrical current into AC, a heat sink to provide cooling/heat dissipation and a control board that supervises the electric motor. The control board is located in a separate area within the MCU from the smoothing condenser, the IGBTs and the heat sink to protect it from the heat generated by these components.

Infineon Technologies has developed voltage-source inverters for AC motor drive systems with IGBT based inverters serving applications under 3,600kVA and GTO thyristor inverters for higher power levels. Because steel manufacturing lines use so many variable-speed motors, size reductions in the motor drive units can contribute to substantial savings in factory floor space that reduce investment costs. High-power-factor converters are another focus of technology development since these converters produce less reactive power and introduce lower levels of power line harmonics. FZ1200R12KF5 is an IGBT device being used in the inverters for such AC/DC motor drive systems.

USComponent.com has been selling IGBT power transistor module including FZ1200R12KF5 since 2001. We have a dedicated quality control team unlike any supplier which always tries their best in order to maintain a quality. We sell original and new parts electronic parts only. FZ1200R16KF4 is a 1600V IHM 130mm single switch IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) Module with IGBT2 which is made by Infineon, formally known as Eupec who is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of semiconductors and system solutions. It is a 3-phase full-bridge power module including fast free-wheel diodes package with insulated metal base plate. It is the best solution for your traction and industry applications. In terms of energy, there are three central requirements of our modern society. They are: efficiency, mobility and security. Infineon provides semiconductor and system solutions, focusing on these three central needs.

Modern train traction systems use high-speed switching IGBTs in main circuits. High-speed switching reduces electromagnetic noise generated by the main motor and improves the efficiency of energy conversion. For the inverter control system, vector control is employed to control the torque current component and the exciting current component separately, which are output to the induction motor.

In modern, intense and heavy traction applications like: locomotives, long-distance trains, metros and trams, which move on a world-wide variety of railroad networks, FZ1200R16KF4 is employed. You can find them in metro drive systems, in innovative, high speed trains and in auxiliary inverters. There is hardly any other application that puts such high demands on the components as traction. High quality, reliability and lifetime are the most important product features in this market segment. FZ1200R16KF4 has advantages like ongoing development for higher voltage and current ratings and these benefits makes them really obligate in traction appliances. There is barely any other application that puts such high pressure on the components as traction. One important requirement is the ability to withstand power cycles. Power cycles cause temperature changes which lead to a mechanical stress that can turn into a failure. High quality, reliability and lifetime are the most important product features in this market segment. FZ1200R16KF4 is a very capable device which can fulfill all these requirements.

Due to its advantages in terms of fast switching, ruggedness, simplicity of gate drive and ease of use, the use of Infineon modules is widespread. While the IGBT can limit and commutate current due to normal fault events, the traction environment may present situations where extensive energy is conducted through the module. Compared to alternative solutions, these can reduce 40 to 50% in inverter cost, weight, and volume. However, the fast switching operation requires special attention to reduce the circuit inductance to avoid overvoltage at switching. Another issue worth consideration is the ability of the module to manage faults without allowing extensive rupture or explosion.

By providing the latest technology, Infineon's solutions allow their customers to enjoy the benefits of standardized housings combined with maximum reliability. They offer wide portfolio of innovative components tailored to needs of various traction and auxiliary inverters.

Article Title: Reasons Why We Buy Junk Cars

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

As junk car buyers, sometimes we're asked odd questions as to why we buy junk cars in the first place. This is a strange question because we're a business, and like any business we aim to make a profit. We function as a middleman between owners and buyers of junk cars.

At the same time, we make a profit and we also help out others who want to sell cars they no longer use. Junk cars are useless and represent drawbacks for owners, and as junk car buyers we help them turn that particular drawback into a benefit. Everyone's a winner.

So how do we help out owners of junk cars? Here are some examples:

*We Pay Cash

Junk cars are notorious money pits. For example, if you want to get them to run then the repairs may cost more than the price of a running car. The repairs may also be more than what you can get when you finally get the car running. It's quite illogical to get a junk car repaired when this is the situation.

Then there's also the fact that junk cars can take up a lot of space in the garage, which means you can't use that space for something that's more useful or more profitable. If you leave it outside, then it's an eyesore and it can even affect property values in your area. The leaking fluids may even be an environmental hazard.

So instead of having to spend money, an owner receives money. Already, that's a huge benefit.

*We Offer Convenient Elimination Services

When you think about it, some owners may even be willing to pay money just to get rid of their junk car. So when we offer to take the car off their hands, the money we give them is a bonus.

And as an owner, you don't have to worry about the condition of your car at all. It doesn't matter if it's running or not, because we buy junk cars either way. They can be in a totally pristine condition, or it can be completely wrecked and we'd buy it too.

And we don't even expect you to deliver the junk cars to us, because we come to you with our towing services. The towing service is also completely free. Now isn't that convenient?

Finally, you don't even need to have the title to the car. So if you can't find it, that's okay. In fact, your privacy is assured even if you just want a quote from us. We don't need to know your email address, your phone number, or even your name for that matter.

*We Do Everything Legally

When you sell a junk car to someone you don't know, there's always a chance that it can "haunt" you legally. Maybe it will be re-used for some nefarious purpose or even just abandoned somewhere and then the previous owner (which is you) may be traced. That can be a legal mess. With us, there are no legal problems at all.

And when we buy junk cars and turn them into scrap, we make sure all our procedures adhere to environmental guidelines so that the environment is protected. That's a service not just to the owner but to everyone.

Article Title: Why You Should Exchange Junk Cars For Cash

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

From any angle you can think of, exchanging your junk cars for cash makes absolute sense. There are several good reasons why you should.

1. You get something for "nothing". Exchanging junk cars for cash is sometimes like finding money in the street. It's an unexpected surprise. After all, a junk car is often in the worst sort of condition, and if you're the realistic type then you know no private buyer would take them. But junk car buyers buy cars in any condition, they buy all types and models too.

2. You can avoid potential unnecessary expenses. Repairing a wrecked car doesn't really make sense at all, because the money you spend on repairs may be much more than what you can get for the car after you get it running. If you lost the title to the car, then you have to spend more money to get a new vehicle title. And then the local authorities in your area may even insist that your car needs to be registered and insured even if it's not running.

When you get rid of your junk car, you avoid all these expenses. In fact, you don't even have to pay for the towing service, because that's free.

3. You get rid of an eyesore. You have to admit, junk cars are usually really ugly, and if you have to see it every day it can be a downer. And if your neighbors see it every day too, then it's bad for everyone. It can even affect real estate prices if potential homebuyers of other homes near you see your junk car.

4. You get rid of a potential environmental hazard. All those fluids leaking from your junk car represent an environmental hazard, as they can seep into the soil or even just make a mess on the street. But when you sell your junk car to an authorized junk car buyer, you're selling it to someone who has the means to handle all those toxic stuff safely and according to regulations.

A junk car is also full of rusty metal, by the way, and some kids can get hurt while playing near your junk car. So it's best to get rid of it quickly.

5. You eliminate a potential home for pests. Another danger of junk cars is that when they are virtually abandoned, they can become the home of rats, or even snakes. These dangerous animals also pose a health risk to the people in the area.

So do yourself—and all the people in your area—a big favor. Just contact a junk car buyer and exchange your junk cars for cash. You don't have to spend a single dollar on the deal, and you get some money in the bargain. You're happy, your wife's happy, everyone in your neighborhood is happy, and your junk car buyer is happy to help out. Everyone wins. Give us a call today so we can help you get rid of your lemon. We'll even pay you for it!

You have to admit, a lot of car owners are sentimental. It's the reason why some people buy old or classical cars, and why there are people who hold on to their cars when the vehicle is no longer in good condition. Some people even insist on keeping a junk car even though there's no practical reason to do so. If you're one of these people, then you really need to realize that junk car removal may be necessary, and more convenient for you.

The Condition of Your Car Doesn't Matter

When you try to sell your car, its make and model matters as well as its condition. Some cars are very unpopular and therefore you will need to wait a long time before someone is willing to buy it. And if the condition of the car is truly wrecked, then you can't sell it no matter what you do. That's because the cost of the repairs may be more expensive than buying a new vehicle.

But when you contact a junk car buyer to get rid of your unused vehicle for you, the make and model of the car won't matter. It will be taken from your hands regardless. It doesn't matter if you have a car, or a van or a truck. It doesn't matter if it's running or not.

You Don't Have to Spend Anything

Normally, getting rid of junk in your home means you need to pay for someone to do it for you. But that's not the case with junk car removal services. They come to your home and the towing is free of charge, so you won't have to pay for a towing service to get the junk to the buyer.

And instead of paying for the privilege of getting rid of the junk, you actually get paid right on the spot. How often do you have someone get rid of a problem for you and instead of paying them for the service, they pay you?

You Remove a Problem for Your Home

This is something you need to realize. A junk car doesn't help you if you keep it. It takes up space in your garage or drive way, and it's an ugly sight that can really dampen your mood.

It may also be a potential expense. You may be tempted into getting it fixed, even though it's impractical. You may have to get it registered and insured even if it's a wreck, because that's the law in your county. You may even have to get a new vehicle title if you lost it.

Furthermore, it represents a health problem. The rusty parts can injure people accidentally. The junk car may become a haven for snakes or rats and all kinds of pests. The fluids may leak and harm the environment.

All these problems are solved by a simple junk car removal. There's no real effort required on your part, and you will receive some cash to boot. Now that's what you call a convenient solution.

There are many good reasons why getting cash for junk cars is the best possible solution for you. One of the more compelling reasons is that you get the most profit out of this deal. You get cash to get rid of a car that doesn't run, or which needs very expensive repairs.

But if the idea is to get as much cash for junk cars as possible, then there are some things you need to do first, and some questions that need to be answered properly.

Question #1: What Is My Junk Car Really Worth?

There's always the temptation to regard your junk car as worthless, and so any money you can get out of the deal is essentially a bonus. This is especially true if the car represents a negative value. For example, you may need to get it repaired for $3,000 and in the end buyers would only pay $1,500 for it. Doing that obviously doesn't make any financial sense.

Still, just about any car can still have some value, just for the simple fact that some parts may still work and some people buy secondhand replacement parts. And that's what you need to do. Take note of everything that still works, and go online and check out how much the parts would fetch if you were a buyer. Make sure you include the tires and the interior in your tally.

Some junk car buyers may also ask you over the phone for the condition of the car, and having this info can increase their offer.

Question #2: Which Car Parts Can I Sell Fast?

You can't wait years to sell your car parts, in much the same way you can't wait too long to sell your junk car itself. After all, you may want the money right away and storage can become a problem. The reasons you want to get rid of your junk car are the same reasons you want to get rid of the car parts too.

You can go online and check out the demand for these car parts, and see how much money potential buyers are willing to pay. If you have an old car, maybe there are some owners out there who need a car part you have and who can't get it easily. This is especially true if the car is not popular, and if the manufacturer has discontinued that particular model.

Sell all the car parts you can sell, before you sell it to the junk car buyers.

Question #3: How Much Can I Get from Junk Car Buyers

The answer to this question depends on the buyers you talk to. You have to expect that the offers won't be too high, since you're selling junk to begin with. But to make sure you get as much cash for junk cars as you can, you may want to talk to at least 3 junk car buyers in your area before you accept the offer.

The pilgrimage of Umrah is a golden opportunity to expiate for your sins and it is said that any sin committed in the past is forgiven once you go to Makkah for Umrah. This is why Islamic scholars have also recommended more than one pilgrimage to lead a more fulfilling life. While this holy journey to the city of Makkah does purify one's soul and it provides tranquillity, the pilgrim does not have the liberty to indulge in an immoral life after returning from his/her pilgrimage. When you come back from Umrah or Hajj, you are supposed to be role model for others and continue living a virtuous life. Allah will be pleased with your rituals if you continue to perform good deeds even after returning from His holy land.

Going for Umrah or for the annual tour of Hajj is a golden opportunity and pilgrims should be thankful to Allah who gives them a beautiful chance of worshipping around the Ka'aba. They must show their gratitude to Allah by being kind to their fellow human beings and animals, and live a moral life without cheating anyone.

After returning from the sacred land of Makkah the followers of Islam are also urged to keep their mind and soul attached to Allah, remembering Him in everything they do. A verse related to this counsel says: "And when ye have completed your devotions, then remember Allah as ye remember your fathers or with a more lively remembrance…" (Al-Baqarah 2: 200)

Prophet Muhammad (May peace be upon him) had said: "The performance of `Umrah is expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous ones. And the reward for Hajj Mabrur (pilgrimage accepted by Allah) is nothing but Paradise." ~ (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 27, Hadith no. 1)

We also know that the Prophet Muhammad (May peace be upon him) stated : "Alternate between Hajj and `Umrah, because both rid one of poverty and sins just as the blacksmith's bellows removes all impurities from metals like iron, gold and silver. The reward for Hajj Mabrur is nothing short of Paradise." (Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Vol. 2, chapter on the Reward of Hajj and Umrah). However, while interpreting these lines, you should not forget the conditions that are essential for acceptance of Hajj and Umrah by Allah. And these are:

1) To have total sincerity in performing the pilgrim rituals for Allah and Allah alone.

2) To perform the rituals of both Umrah and Hajj in the same way as it has been mentioned in the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (May peace be upon him)

The essence of these conditions is that the pilgrims going for Umrah or Hajj should be earnestly keen to avoid all wicked and disgraceful deeds especially because Allah, the most merciful obliterated their past sins as a reward of performing the rituals. The pilgrims must also abide by the pillars of Islam that, in addition to Hajj include Shahaadah – Declaration of Faith; Sawm – Fasting during the month of Ramadan; Zakat – Almsgiving or Charity; Salaah – Five compulsory prayers daily.

Remember, Allah is omnipresent and omnipotent. He watches over all your deeds and the way you lead your daily lives. To be a real believer and abide by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (May peace be upon him), you must retain the qualities of a pilgrim even after coming back from the pilgrimage. The aura of holiness and religious beauty that you see in towns like Makkah and Madinah must be carried everywhere you go. That is what makes you a true follower of Islam and a good human being.

Oral health and dieting are not often seen as going together for better health and fitness. We often concentrate on the effects dieting has on our waistline rather than our teeth. Recently however, Lucy Stock of the Gentle Dental Care in Belfast studied the effects on oral health when dieting.

The Paleo Diet has been one of the most popular diets to have taken shape this century. It advocates eating a similar diet to those of our caveman ancestors. The diet is plain, simple with limited amounts of processed carbohydrates and sugars. If your ancestor did not eat, than neither can you. Users of the Paleo Diet praise it not only for weight loss but also for treating eczema.

The Paleo Diet literally strips away man-made food and goes back to a neolithic diet. This means anything that can be hunted or found - meats, fish, nuts, leafy greens, regional veggies, and seeds are acceptable. This cuts out all the added sugars found in processed foods which is fantastic news for teeth as they are subjected to the sugar softening attacks which cause holes in your teeth much less often.

However, some of the essential vitamins and calcium, which are found in dairy, are also excluded, which could be detrimental.

The Cambridge diet, on the other hand, is made up of branded shakes, bars, soups and porridge combined with a low-calorie diet. Not surprisingly, some of the packaged products contain a large amount of sugar and the chewy caramel chocolate bars are definitely not the best friend of teeth as they tend to be quite sticky.

The Cambridge products, just like the Slim Fast diet products, can be high in sugar so it can be helpful to read the labelling.

Constant exposure to the concentrated taste of sugar does nothing to train the taste buds to enjoy the more subtle sweet tastes of healthy snacks such as apples and bananas. The best approach for teeth is to keep any high-sugar foods to an absolute minimum in your diet by only having them occasionally and not every day.

The Alkaline/Acid Diet is based on separating food types and not eating them together in one meal. It suggests taking acidic fruits together - eating a bowl of pineapple, oranges and lemons, for example. Although nutritionally very healthy, this high-acid content can prove very erosive for teeth if carried out on a repeated, daily basis. The issue is further exacerbated if you add acidic lemon or lime juice for flavour or to dressings.

Frequent consumption of acidic foods can cause deterioration tooth enamel. Acid erosion causes the enamel to thin and chip away, resulting in weak, sensitive and yellow-looking teeth. Brushing immediately after acidic foods just brushes the enamel away faster.

If you enjoy eating acidic food, try rinsing your mouth with water to reduce the corrosive effects. It is also recommended not to rinse out the tooth paste after brushing. With the effects quoted above, good oral health makes dieting a lot easier.
