More and more American customers decide to look for freelance graphic designers or foreign agencies, mostly to save some money. But is outsourcing a good, cost effective idea or does it come with unforeseen issues? Regarding the prices in our industry, it is indeed possible to find it cheaper to work foreigners. However, keep in mind your money will contribute to a different country's economy instead of your own. And since we're talking about the costs, you should keep in mind that people who work in American agencies are well trained professionals that are committed to their work, therefore giving you your money's worth. Nowadays the American market is very flexible and offers quality work for competitive prices. Secondly, the language barrier is a common issue when it comes to outsourcing. Although there are many people that can speak and understand English, many of them will not fully understand the nuances. This often leads to longer conversations and explanations so that the people doing the job for you completely understand what you need. Working with an American graphic design agency, on the other hand, means having your project done in time by a team of professionals that understand exactly what you want, thus avoiding the stress of constant misunderstanding and additional explanations. Moreover, hiring an American graphic design agency means you're hiring someone who shares the same background and quickly understands your vision. It has been proven that it's harder for individuals to fully comprehend other cultures than their own; this means no one will be able to provide effective additional as well as someone who knows exactly what your culture is all about. Graphic design is one of the biggest tools you can use to enhance your business and the customers perception of it, so make sure to choose the right people to take care of that for you. Another thing to consider is the educational background of the people you hire. You want to make sure the people working for you know their business, have a strong portfolio and know graphic design subtleties like the back of their hand. It's true there are talented graphic design professionals all around the globe, but there are also thousands of beginners that can claim differently, and it's harder to check which one is right and which one isn't when you're outsourcing. Finding an affordable yet high quality service abroad can be stressful and time consuming. Last, but not least to consider is the availability of the ones working for you. American agencies are reliable from this point of view, since they share the same legal terms and probably the same time zone. When outsourcing, it's harder to keep control over your project, due to time zone differences and legal conditions. If there's an issue with your project along the way, there's no customer service department to complain to, you simply have to deal with the situation. All in all, hiring an American graphic design agency for your projects means less stress and more creativity from a team of well trained professionals that are efficient and always available for their customers, whereas outsourcing may be cheaper but can bring additional issues. Here are some tips that should take some of that worry off your back: The Gs: 1. Goals are the wheels guiding probably every human's life and maintaining a clear picture of what your goals are is the first thing that needs to be done before choosing the best graphic design agency for your company. Be sure to know what you expect the agency to do for you, what your image should reflect. Reducing the number of options by defining your needs is the first step. 2. Get recommendations. Ask around, look for companies that resemble your ideal of marketing aspect and check their graphic designers. Always check for references though, make sure to follow reliable sources. 3. Google it. Run a Google search for the background of the agency, its previous clients and any relevant reviews. Make sure to know whose hands you'll put your company's brand in. The Rs: 4. Respect the craft and make the designers respect your ideas. The graphic design agency provides the transition between the company's image and the public. They will transcribe your assets into an aspect that will stand out, so be sure to communicate accordingly with them. 5. Remain within the boundaries of your budget. Have a detailed overview of what your expectations are, but also of the resources allocated for the design. However, keep in mind that quality comes with a price. The Es: 6. Expect them to come up with more than one solution. Two or three models would be ideal, while it proves very useful to have examples of alternatives. 7. Essence is most important. Does the way the agency work fit your company? Is it sending the message you want your company to express? Have a critical thinking when it comes to choosing whether to hire them or not. A good graphical design agency should provide what you demand while allowing their own style to improve the overall image. The As: 8. Art is subjective and graphic design is a form of art. What makes art appreciated from this point of view is originality and simplicity. Be sure not to hire someone who uses the same pattern over and over again. Also, don't get lost in the details, think outside the box. 9. Answer all the questions the graphic designers will have for you as detailed as possible. Not only will it help them build the perfect style for you, but you will catch a glimpse of what their focus is on. Then you should be able to judge whether it matches your expectations or not. The T: 10. Time is money and deadlines need to be respected. Don't be a constant stress, let them do their work, as long as they are punctual. Even so, if they exceed the deadline, you should move on to finding a new graphic design agency. Finally, a GREAT image for your company is what this graphic design agency will provide, if you keep these tips in mind. About The Author: Are you looking for more information regarding kwd? One of the most important details along this journey has a lot to do with graphic design. Here are 10 tips to have in mind while designing a brand identity. 1. Know exactly what you want In order to know exactly what you need to communicate through the brand's identity, sit down with your client and come up with a list of keywords that define the brand. Try to ask as many questions as needed in order to know exactly what is needed. 2. Always work with a brief In order to avoid any misunderstandings, you should consider working with a brief. This way, you know exactly what your customer wants and at the same time, you avoid being too subjective. A brief will give you important details, such as audience research, brand values, brand mission and so on. 3. Do your research Depending on the type of product the brand will represent, make sure to up to date with your research on that particular niche. This way, you'll get a better understanding on the target audience and will be able to design a matching brand identity. 4. Know the Brand's Competitors While doing your research, take a look at the competitor brands. In order to build a strong brand identity, try to come up with some creative ideas that will differentiate your brand from the competition. Make sure your design is unique. 5. Brainstorm the Concept Once you've got all the information you need from your customer, along with the brief and research, it should be helpful to brainstorm a few concepts. By this point, you already know your do's and don'ts regarding the brand's identity. After coming up with a list of ideas, review them with your client and keep the top 3 design concepts. 6. Start Sketching the Logo After you have all the details necessary, it's time for drawing! You may find it easier to start designing the logo by sketching a few ideas. This will allow you to have a better image of your idea and can also boost your creativity. As you draw your concepts, you'll notice you'll come up with more and more ideas. 7. Digitalize Your Work After you come up with some great logo ideas and sketches, start digitally manipulating the design. You should probably stick to around 3 ideas to show your customer. Feel free to try different fonts and color schemes until you are completely satisfied with the result. 8. Don't ignore the other visual elements While the logo is extremely important to a brand's identity, there's a family of other visual elements that sustain the brand. Make sure they all go together in terms of concept, fonts and color schemes. 9. Set the Style Guidelines Once you're created a great, unique visual concept for the brand, make sure you set a list of rules for using it. The Style Guidelines will allow your customer to use the brand's identity in a correct way, whether it goes online, offline, on billboards or t-shirts, on notebooks or calendars. 10. Monitor the feedback In order to be sure your brand stays strong, always be attentive when it comes to feedback. Your brand may need to be adjusted from time to time, in order to keep step with the fact changing world we live in. About The Author: Are you looking for more information regarding brand identity? In fact, a great number of deaths caused by complications related to obesity has been recorded by the World Health Organization. It is this health hazard that has pushed more and more people to commit themselves to a healthier lifestyle. In addition, the number of people who are becoming more conscious of their look and figure has been increasing. This is why they make sure to exercise regularly and eat a well-balanced diet so as to achieve and maintain their preferred body weight. Indeed, weight loss is a process that requires a great amount of willpower and determination to be able to achieve one's goal. It is important however that some misconceptions about losing weight be corrected. For example, skipping breakfast is a big mistake. To be able to face the demands of the day, protein and carbohydrates should be consumed by the body. Fiber-enriched foods would also be helpful, especially if the next meal to be taken is lunch. It is important to know as well that certain diets do not work for some people. If a great amount of energy is needed each day, regular meals should be provided to meet these demands. But, if there is really a desire to lose weight, knowing the calorie content of each food product and controlling the amount that is taken would be helpful. Healthy snacking is also not a bad idea. Basically, the bottom line is to be smart about your food choices. Contrary to common knowledge, carbohydrates are actually not harmful to those who are engaged in weight loss programs. In fact, these carbohydrate-rich foods are a good source of energy for daily activities. However, do note that some carb-laden foods contain more sugar. These are usually processed food products that are readily available in the market. It is better to choose beans and whole grains with fruits and vegetables as a meal for they do not only help in losing weight but also provide health benefits to the body. Daily or regular exercise is a must for those who want to lose weight. For those who are engaging in exercise for the first time, they should not worry - they simply need to think and believe that each physical activity can cause the body to burn calories. Simple jogging or even just fast walking could help one lose some excess fat. Some who would prefer faster results could enroll in gym programs. This way, they could be monitored by a trained gym instructor who could help them keep track of their progress. Experts highly recommend weight lifting which does not only help in burning calories but also help muscles to be in tip-top shape. Several products are also being offered in the market that would help people reach their desired weight and/or figure, such as low-calorie drinks that can be taken before a meal. They are usually made with ingredients that help increase the body's metabolism such as chromium and vitamin H. Others would have extracts from certain fruits or plants that can help maintain a normal blood sugar level. They usually moderate the process of storing glucose in the liver or even the intake of glucose in the intestines. An example of a low-calorie drink is AdvoCare Slim® which controls one's appetite, increases the body's metabolism, and at the same provide energy that is needed during workouts or exercises. Although most people would opt to take the natural route with the weight loss process, products such as these can help shorten the period of achieving their goal and also help maintain their desired figure. Despite all the effort and hard work that is required, the weight loss process comes with numerous benefits. A proper diet and the right amount of exercise can yield a healthier body. This can improve one's blood circulation and reduce the risk of diseases such as chronic heart diseases and diabetes. The process of losing weight can also be a way of saving money. By reducing the amount of food that is eaten, as well as choosing to just walk or ride a bike, one can cut down on daily expenses. Friendships can be forged through group workout sessions. And another important advantage is the boost in one's self-confidence. Without those excess fat and a lumpy figure, one would be able to carry himeself or herself better and would have the confidence to show what they have to the rest of the world. People are made to balance their office workload with their responsibilities at home. Some even expend extra energy to be able to do the things they want, such as working out or engaging in a sport. Most of the time, the energy one gets from the food that is eaten is not enough. This has created a market for energy drinks. An energy drink differs greatly from soft drinks and sports drinks. Soft drinks are basically made for enjoyment and not for the nourishment of the body. Sports drinks, on the other hand, are made for athletes and others who are engaged in strenuous activities that would need a great amount of rehydration. Although similarities can be seen in the ingredients of the three, energy drinks are basically made to boost the energy of the consumer. An example of an energy drink currently being sold in the market is AdvoCare Spark® Energy. This was especially made for people who have a hard time starting their day in the morning, as well as those who wish to do more aside from their work. With the help of 21 vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, it is said to help the mind focus and provide the body with energy for busy people. In reality, the energy boost is greatly dependent on the ingredients that are found on the drink. Basically, caffeine and sugar are the main propellers of these energy drinks. Other ingredients such as ephedrine and guarana seed extract are also added to act as stimulants, while ingredients such as taurine and creatine are used to aid in the contraction of the muscles. Others would have stress-reducing components such as ginseng. Meanwhile, substances that can be helpful in losing weight such as carnitine are infused. However, it is important to note that too much of anything is dangerous. Caution should still be exercised upon the intake of these products. Caffeine, first and foremost, could cause a lot of side effects to the body. These include cardiovascular problems such as a faster heartbeat and a higher blood pressure that can eventually lead to a serious or even deathly cardiac arrest. Caffeine can also affect the central nervous system and cause episodes of headaches and migraines. Moreover, it can interfere with one's normal sleeping pattern and lead to insomnia. Even the muscles are affected, especially if they are overstimulated. People tend to be shaky and develop unnecessary anxiety when they take in too many energy drinks. The large amount of sugar in these energy drinks could also be a cause of Type 2 diabetes wherein insulin could no longer regulate the blood sugar level on its own. Some studies even show that addiction is developed by some regular consumers of energy drinks. Students, especially adolescents, develop more serious problems from too much intake of energy drinks. They are most likely to develop sleeping and even developmental problems in the future. Therefore, extra caution is advised when an energy drink is mixed with alcohol. Although some experts would say that the tendency to engage in higher-risk activities is not necessarily associated with this, it is still important to control one's alcohol consumption. Despite these however, energy drinks are not harmful, especially when they are taken in moderation. In fact, numerous individuals have benefited from these drinks. One example is Zach Loyd from the USA Men's National Team Pool who is a regular user of AdvoCare Spark®. He has claimed that the intake of this particular energy drink helped him make the most of his workouts and even helped him improve his overall performance. Indeed, athletes are able to utilize efficiently the carbohydrates found in these drinks. Students and those who are part of the physical labor force are also able to enjoy the benefits of these energy drinks. The electrolyte content is able to rehydrate them and caffeine is able to stimulate them to work. Even the central nervous system is aided, as these drinks can create a smooth flow of message transmission through and among neurons. Indeed, energy drinks have been playing a vital role in helping people face and take on the responsibilities they have each day. With the extra energy boost, they are given the chance to be able to do things that they enjoy on top of the demands at work and at home. As long as they are consumed moderately and responsibly, energy drinks can really make man do more and live more. About The Author: Are you looking for more information regarding energy drink? If there's a need that you find today that is being underserved, you can jump in and fill that void with relative ease. However, if you're going to try and compete with others head to head, you'll need to do more than just set up shop. To further illustrate some steps, consider a few tips on how to start an event planning business and use that template to figure out how to traverse the business world from the ground up. Look At Your Area and Consider The Events The first thing that you need to do is look and see if there are any events planned or taking place in and around the area that you live or want to serve. If you notice that there are a lot of planned options, then you will want to look at how they are being promoted. If you find that there's not a lot of promotion going on, then you could serve that group by starting up an event listings website. For those that find that no events are planned, then you could step in and start to figure out how to start bringing together events with sponsors and more. Start With A Website Before you do anything, consolidated the events that are going on through listings. Set up a site where you could put up listings of what is going on in your area and what you want to focus on towards the future. If you start this type of site up, you will have an insider's view as to what is going on in your community and then branch out to building something more substantial over time. Remember, this is a matter of focusing on events that are occurring, and helping promote those events through free listings. It's not a complicated endeavor, and will help you down the line. Invest In An Event After you have started a site that lists events, you may want to throw your name into the proverbial hat of event promoter. Find a venue in your area and speak with management, tell them about your idea and get a date that you want to promote an event on. Once you have that in place, you'll then want to look into investing in getting a lineup of talent to perform at the showcase, and then promote it through the site, passing out flyers, and other options. This will take some work, and perhaps start up money, but it will help you set up your chances for sustaining a business over time. Whether you throw free events, or you just host a site that puts the information live online, you will find that this can be done with relative ease. Start your business with a simple look into the community. See if there's a need, and then try to meet the needs of others through your site and promotional considerations. Whether you're living in a small town or a large metropolis, you're going to find that event listings are always being sought after. Finding top events anywhere is something that could be simple at first glance, but if you're not savvy to the latest options, you may end up losing out. It's with that in mind that you should look into a few simple ways to ensure that you're not left behind when something big is going on in your community. The Newspaper The classified section of the newspaper is always a good solution to look into. Not only that, you should look at the online page for any given newspaper that you have in your city. You'll find that major events are promoted within those pages and ad sales are a driving force for any paper in the United States. Look at what is happening locally through the classifieds section and then look online for anything that didn't make the daily print run. As such, you will find that you could get in the right arenas and find out the right options to venture off towards. Bulletin Boards Many small communities have these in plain view, and sometimes they'll have them in big box retailers. You will want to look into this option favorably as it will still showcase event posters, calendars, and much more. Finding a physical bulletin board may seem archaic to some, but it is still one of the major ways that events are promoted in real time today. Just make sure that you look at all the dates correctly as it is easy to get mislead on these. Online Calendars Any major event that is coming through a city will most likely be selling tickets. It's with the in mind that you should look at whomever your local ticket provider is in town. You'll find that they will have event listings up for free and will tell you what's coming through for you to see. This is a tried and true solution that will give you the latest and greatest in entertainment and media options. No major event comes through town without notice from the ticket brokers and more. When all else fails and you don't really see much influence in this arena, you may want to jump into setting up your own online calendar. Some people find this to be a fascinating element that is easy to update, and get popularized. You will find that setting up an events page is a good way to start an event planning business. It's when you see a need in the community, that you can fill that void. Listing events for free and getting promotion to anything going on in your area is a solid plan of action overall. The aforementioned will keep you in the "know" and get you moving forward to any entertainment platform you desire overall. This goes further than just coding, it starts to permeate into the language and calls to action used in the scripting of pages as well. You'll find that those with great responses to campaigns are often the ones that focus on mobile technology over others. These additives help preserve the taste and quality of the wine, while prolonging its shelf life at the same time. It is no secret that it takes more than good quality grapes to create a good bottle. However, it is also true that there are instances when these additives create undesirable results. Here are the additives that you can find in a wine. Sulfur The use of sulfur goes way back to the Romans when they discovered that when you burn candles made of sulfur inside empty wine containers, it allows it to last longer. It prevents the wine from easily becoming stale and create a vinegar smell. This practice echoes right into the present with sulfur dioxide now considered to be an indespensable additive in wine making. Sulfur dioxide is used for its antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. It is used to get rid of the bacteria and yeast during the wine making process. The beautiful art requires a delicate and careful process. And when it comes to adding sulfur dioxide, it is important that it is done at the right time. The timing and amount of this additive will depend on the style of the wine and also the composition of the wine to which it is added. This process can be a bit tricky for novice wine makers, and if it is done improperly, the results can be as bad as it is beneficial. Some countries require wine producers to specify the presence of sulfur if it exceeds a certain amount. The reason why these laws are passed because it also protects some consumers who are sensitive to sulfur. Sulfur dioxide is also known to be food additive 220 or 202. Sulfur is indeed an integral part of the wine, as it prevents the proliferation of undesirable results created by bacteria and yeast. It also safeguards the fruit integrity of the wine. Tannins Tannin is also an important part of the wine to give it structure, taste and overall goodness. Tannin is a naturally occuring polyphenol that is found in plants, leaves, bark, seeds, wood and, in this case, fruit skin. When it comes to defining a wine's characteristic, tannin adds bitterness and some astringency to the wine resulting to its complexity in flavours and structure. Oak aging adds some amount of tannin after the wine is exposed to oak wood. That is why wine makers sometimes add oak extracts to enhance the flavour and adjust the tannins. So aside from the tannins derived from the grape skin, the juices are also exposed to wood tannins while they are stored in oak barrels during fermentation. Instead of aging in pure oak barrels, some wine makers use oak chips, oak staves or tannin powders because these are more affordable and sustainable. Today, instead of aging the wines in oak barrels, oak chips are much prefered by wine makers because aside from the cheaper cost in transport, it is also better for the forests. Yeast This compound comes from single celled plants that consume the sugar form grapes and transform it into equal parts of alcohol and carbon dioxide. Some experts say that although the wine maker makes certain that the wine doesn't get spoiled and also introduce some characteristics to the wine, it is actually the yeast that is slowly creating the wine. But it would take a good wine maker to properly control the yeast, select the right variety and introduce it to the grape juices at the right moment. Controlling the yeast and manipulating its presence during the fermentation is essential to making a good wine. There are different kinds of yeasts used in wine making, but each of these have their own benefits that is dependent on the wine variety. Sugar Sugar is also added to grape juice during the wine making process in order to increase its final alcohol level. This is called chaptalization. It is not done to make the wine sweeter but rather to increase the final alcohol level of the finished product. When sugar is added to wine, it is then consumed by the yeast as it ferments into alcohol. This is particulalry beneficial for grapes that are struggling to reach full ripeness. This process can add up to a total of 3% ABV to the wine. However, you also would have to note that adding sugar is not allowed in some American states, Southern France, Australia, Argentina and South Africa. Wine Stabilizers Aside from sulfur, there are also other microorganisms that are important for stabilizing the wine. Dimethyl dicarbonate or DMDC is used to not only stabilize the wine but also sterilize it. This plays an important part in the microbial defense strategy of wines, hampering chances of microbiological activity after bottling. This is what you call secondary fermentation resulting in flavors and aromas that are off, formation of sediments and viscosity. DMDC is a poisonous substance within the hour that is is added, but it then hydrolyzed half an hour after it is added. Acetaldehyde is also another stabilizer which focuses on the juices before it is concentrated. It is also known as an important molecule in the oxidation of wine, and it also acts as a preservative. There are also other additives used by wine makers that simply remove undesirable characteristics out of the wine. Gelatin Grape juices and wine have naturally occuring particles that result from the winemaking process. This includes compounds like tannins from oak aging in barrels. This affects the clarity of the wine as evidenced by sediments forming in the bottle. This helps clarify the juice or the wine. Albumen or egg white This serves as a fining agent for red wines and has long been in practice. Albumen softens the astrigency of the wine as it binds and reduces the tannin content. This is why it is perfect for highly tannic or oak-aged wines. Isinglass This is a very pure gelatin that is derived from the air bladders of sturgeons. It is also a popular fining agent that strips the color of the wine into a much lesser hue. This is used in clarifying white wines, especially those that are aged in oak barrels. However, it tends to create heavy deposits that clings to carbon alloy glass walls. Bentonite This is a clay that has absoptive properties. It binds to suspended particles that are oppositely charged and also leads it to precipitate. Bentonite is used in clarifying both red and white wines, although it is much useful for white wines in particular. It prevents the haze that is caused by naturally occuring proteins found in the grape juice. It also prevents color reduction and the process of over-fining. Its effectiveness makes it most preferable among winemakers. However, its disadvantage is that the heavy deposits caused by the precipitate also means there is more wine loss. Sparkolloid This fining agent comes from the alginic acid salt that is found in brown algae. It is very effective in settling fine suspended particles. It is more recommended for red wines, but it can also be used in whites. Kieselsol This is considered to be an excellent fining agent for both white and red wines. It is a silicate suspension that binds to proteins. It is often combined with gelatin to increase its effectiveness. These information may be quite daunting what with all the complex process that goes behind these chemicals or compounds. If you are not familiar with these fining agents, you can perform a bench test. The effectiveness of these fining agents is evidenced in its pH, wine composition, temperature, rate of addition and a bevy of other factors. You can also see the effect of these fining agents on the general color of the wine, its aromas and flavours. Performing bench tests allows you to learn a lot and further distinguish and appreciate good wines from the bad. *********************** ARTICLE END *********************** - To distribute your articles go to http://www.isnare.com/distribution.php - For more free-reprint articles go to http://www.isnare.com |

I'm not really a video person. I'd much rather read or skim content quickly than sit through a video before I even know if I'm interested. I've sat through long (and boring) videos that didn't have to be that way. Now, I understand that getting a video completed is a huge accomplishment, and that is amazing! Yet a few simple tips would make your videos easier to watch for those of us who really don't like watching videos in the first place: 1)Know what you want to communicate. Little is worse than tuning in to watch a video and the presenter seems to have no point and they ramble on and on. Equally bad is when they get distracted by every little thing and never get to the point. Keep your script tight and short and make sure you get to what you want to say as soon as you can. Remember, you don't have an unlimited amount of time to gain and keep your audience's attention, so make every minute count. 2)Have good lighting. I've gotten dinged on this before. Even though you don't think it's distracting if your face is half shadowed or there is funny lighting or strange patterns on the wall behind you, the truth is, it is distracting for your viewers. If you are going to take the time to record a video, make sure we can see your face- fully- and without any weird lighting or strange light patterns on the wall behind you or above your head. . It's wise to take a short test video before you begin, and then also test a few times during your recording process if you're there for a while. If you have any windows in your recording space, the light will change as the sun moves- and will make weird patterns later where none were before. 3)Keep it short. This goes to my point #1. I'd much rather watch a short and powerful and informative video that tells me what I need to know then one that goes on and on and on. It's just like writing salesletters- say as much as you need to say, but not more. After some point, extra words don't add extra meaning. 4)Add a personal touch. Tell me something about yourself. Be human. Video is a rapid way to build connection, so use it to build that connection. 5)Semi-professional is enough. If you are using video marketing to build visibility for your business, watch your video and measure against whether it is professional enough. It doesn't need to be perfect, but at least make sure it conveys you how you want to be seen. If you're unhappy or uncomfortable with it, for any reason, do it over. The beauty of technology is that you don't have to be stuck with a version you don't like. Even though I don't really like watching videos, or making them, I try to keep these tips in mind whenever I am about to record. I believe they help me make videos people are more likely to watch *********************** ARTICLE END *********************** - To distribute your articles go to http://www.isnare.com/distribution.php - For more free-reprint articles go to http://www.isnare.com |

The Pampered Chef pizza stone is a highly rated product that has been designed to enhance the cooking experience for both the professional chef and novice chef. This baking stone has been developed using only the best materials and the technology applied ensures that you receive the best results. The Pampered Chef is a credible and reliable partner for chefs and continues to provide quality items. When acquiring any product, you can count on the experience and great track record offered by this company's kitchenware. Why Choose The Pampered Chef There are aspects that give this baking stone an edge over other similar products. The Pampered Chef pizza stone is made out of natural clay. It is lead-free and essentially non-porous especially compared to the ceramic counterpart. This feature ensures that the pizza stones do not retain the flavor during heating. This makes it better than the traditional stone whose porosity absorbs any moisture that is in contact with it. It is however still capable of drawing any wetness away from the surface to ensure that the pizza is optimally crusty and delicious. The Pampered Chef baking stone products have been modeled to create even distribution of heat. This means that all the baking will cook with uniformity and the results will always be great. It also retains the heat absorbed in the oven within its body. This characteristic makes certain that your food stays hot for longer and limits the need for constant heating. The general construction of the baking stone is quite sturdy. It is safe to use in the microwave as well as a conventional oven. Author: John Purfield Word Count: 1121 Article URL: http://www.isnare.com/?aid=1915324&ca=Self+Help Format: 64cpl Contact The Author: http://www.isnare.com/eta.php?aid=1915324 Easy Publish Tool: http://www.isnare.com/html.php?aid=1915324 *********************** ARTICLE START *********************** I think I heard this on a TV show, someone makes a comment who to someone else who is going through a difficult period of sleeplessness, "Lots of people have insomnia, but you don't find them losing any sleep over it." I'm not 100% on that but kind of ironic, to be sure, but for those who suffer from the sleep disorder, it's no laughing matter. In fact, according to a recent poll conducted by the National Sleep Foundation (1), more than half of all people in the United States suffer from at least periodic bouts of insomnia, which carries through during the following days with such problems as low energy, difficulty concentrating, mood disturbances, fatigue, and lower levels of performance at wor or school. What is Insomnia? From time to time, practically everyone has trouble falling asleep and/or staying asleep. Fortunately, not all of these people suffer from the generally accepted definition of insomnia, which is a difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, even when that person is allowed to do so. What makes these cases different is the factor of its duration. Further, there are two types of insomnia, acute insomnia, and chronic insomnia. Acute insomnia occurs as a result of the circumstances in a person's life. If, for example, a student is sleepless due to a pending exam, or when someone is experiencing a difficult situation with their child or marriage, these instances could cause a period of acute insomnia. Chronic insomnia, on the other hand, is when a person's sleep is disrupted at least three nights out of a week over a period of at least three months. There can be many causes of chronic insomnia. Among these are environmental changes, shift work, unhealthy sleep habits, certain medications, and others. Getting to Sleep Fortunately, one of the first sources that most people turn to when attempting to deal with their insomnia problems is their doctor, who will often start by discussing what is going on in their lives that might be the cause of the problem. If nothing is found in these discussions, doctors will normally recommend a sleep study, which is performed in a clinic and monitors the sleep patterns of a patient. After a sleep study is complete, a physician will draft a report with the findings to the referring doctor and discuss it with the patient. There are a number of generally accepted causes of insomnia that include: * Stress * Depression * Worry and anxiety disorders * Traumatic experiences/PTSD * Medical problems such as chronic pain, asthma, Parkinson's disease, allergies, acid reflux, kidney disease, and cancer * and others By this stage, there are usually some general guidelines that will usually get a patient back on his way to a restful night of sleep. Getting Back to Sleep Whether a person does so with the help of their physician or not, there are several things that they can do to help them fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. Be sure that you take a long look at the things you are already trying to use to put you to sleep since they often only contribute to the problem. These include, believe it or not, sleep medications and alcohol. Also, if you drink excessive amounts of caffeine during the day or consume it shortly before going to bed, these could contribute to a sleep problem. If you don't experience relief immediately after changing these behaviors, be patient, since changing these patterns could themselves cause problems for the immediate future, but change over a short time. Another common problem after you begin to change habits in your efforts to sleep is that they begin so mildly that you don't notice them. As a result, a common practice that is recommended is to keep a sleep diary as you begin trying to solve your insomnia. Making a written record of the times when you first go to bed, then after you wake up, recording how much sleep you get, the quality of sleep, your diet, and other issues allows you to examine more closely the changes that are happening in your life. Inviting Sleep There are several habits that you should adopt in order to make it easier for you to fall asleep and stay that way. These are: Prepare your bedroom for sleep. Some people try to fall asleep wherever they happen to be, ie, in front of the television, etc. This is a mistake. Instead, you should have one place in your home or apartment where you sleep, the bedroom, and it should be prepared before you attempt to go to sleep. 1. Make sure your bedroom is dark, quiet, and cool. Use earplugs and/or a sleep mask if you need them. And if you need to open a window or turn on a fan or air conditioner to make you comfortable, do so. 2. Stick to a regular sleep schedule. Get your internal clock on a regular schedule of sleeping and waking up. Going to bed and waking up at different times, as well as taking naps during the day only interrupts your sleep patterns, making it more difficult to sleep when you need to. 3. Avoid strenuous activity before you go to bed. Don't exercise or do anything that requires stress on your mind or body before you head to bed. Instead, sit quietly in a chair or on a sofa with a relaxing television show or read a book. Just don't use a back lit device such as an iPad to read, which only stimulates your mind. 4. Avoid nicotine, alcohol, or caffeine for several hours before you go to bed. 5. Avoid artificial light at night. Many people insist on using a nightlight, which is fine, but to increase melatonin production, you should stay away from any bright lights for at least one hour before you go to bed. Not only is insomnia a difficult problem to deal with, but it also results in a vicious cycle of a lack of sleep only resulting in more lack of sleep. By paying heed to the recommendations above, you will be on your way to successfully conquering your insomnia problem for good and getting a good, restful night of sleep in the process. If the students are part-time professionals, especially in nations such as the UK then it is possible that they may be unable to devote time towards their academic tasks such as assignments. Students can then try for shortcuts such as taking assistance during their assignment writing. Students can surf the magic words "assignment help UK", over prominent Internet search engines to find out a list of online services that provide genuine assignment writing assistance. Such a service brand can only be trustworthy if it is backed by a team of proficient assignment writers. Such writers should be professional in their work apart from being experts at providing assignment material as per UK English Standards. Whenever students try to search for an assignment help online then they should always prefer to observe certain factors about the service website. Students should see that the service brand can be contacted in an easy manner through proper back-end support systems. They can be email or online chat support systems. The assignment writers should always be ready to provide solutions to all the queries of students regarding their assignment through email communication with well-finished documents. The assignment writers should also be ready at all times to address the queries of students regarding their assignments via online chat support. Students should not feel at any point of time that the writers are not ready to reply to their follow-up measures. Further involvement with the students even after submission of their assignment assistance material reflects the positive after-sales services of a particular online assignment help service. Since students in the UK have a busy and fast lifestyle, they expect an assignment writing service to be prompt in providing error-free assignment help that too of top quality. Being students, they have budget constraints, and hence they need assignment help that should be high on quality, but extremely reasonable in price. It becomes quite tough to find assignment writing services that provide a full package of features such as plagiarism-free, error-free, qualitative and reasonably priced factors within their assignment services. Another interesting feature about a "trustworthy" assignment service provider can be the feature of assignment re-editing. If students mail the assignment work that was provided to them by the assignment service then, its writers should consider the material for re-editing as per the students' requirements. The assignment writers can collect the required assignment re-editing specifications from the students through email messages and chat sessions initiated by the students. I, George Harding am an assignment writer from the past fifteen years. This article is a guide on finding an assignment writing service that can be trustworthy. When students in the US go for their dissertation writing then, most of them prefer to utilize the APA style of academic writing format. Many institutes in the US have specified the APA style for students to work upon their dissertations, essays and other assignments. It is a style guide as per The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association that is immensely popular in the US. The natural tendency of students is to search the Internet with keywords such as "do my assignment for me", so that they can come across an assignment writing service that provides them with genuine and error free assignment assistance. A genuine assignment help service always makes sure to provide help material that is based on any format of an assignment provided to the student by his or her institution. An assignment can be a dissertation or essay assignment. Each assignment has a particular writing style, but there are certain factors that all assignments need to adhere to while students work upon it before their submission. Genuine assignment writers over the Internet make sure to see that the assignment help they are providing to students should enable them to work upon an error free assignment. Spelling errors are a common factor that students tend to commit while making an assignment, and they are liable to deduction in marks. Genuine online assignment writers refer to detailed analysis and the best of online thesaurus and dictionaries to get the spellings of assignment content right. The introduction of excessive SMS and Internet jargon among UK students has resulted in students committing grammatical errors in English while working upon their assignments. Such errors are not at all accepted by examiners since the students need to submit their assignments in the National Language of the UK. Hence, genuine online assignment writers always make sure to refer to the best of grammar textbooks, internet references and their self-knowledge. Most of these assignment writers are either doctorate or Ph.D. level assignment writing experts in English. Due to their command over the language, they can provide assignment assistance material that is backed by error-free as well as top quality English content. They NEED your service but what is going to make them choose you? Most sellers will go into a long dialogue about their product or service. Most of your competitors will have a similar product or service. So what's the difference? Why are your prospects NOT buying from you? Most sales people think that buyers buy on price. THEY DON'T!!!! Think about a purchase you have made recently, was it the cheapest or was it something else? My friend has recently bought a Range Rover. It really was way out of their price range BUT she is expecting a baby and the most important thing to her and her boyfriend was the safety of their baby. They were prepared to stretch themselves financially because of what was important to them. They certainly didn't consider buying the cheapest car. Many sales people work by the seat of their pants, with little or no preparation before contacting a prospect. They turn up and rummage in their boot for the relevant paperwork. They haven't done any research or even looked at their prospects website. They don't understand the market segment that their prospect is operating in, or the competitors of that prospect. They don't even understand their own strengths and weaknesses against their competition They don't prepare any questions based on the research they carried out. They have no objective for the call RESULT Sending marketing that your prospects are not interested in Appointments that don't result in a sale because you present yourself like another "Peddler" of your wares Prospects feel they have wasted their time seeing you - Most won't see you anyway! What should you do to encourage your prospective client to buy from you? Here's a story to illustrate the point; A business colleague of mine was desperate to retire early and has paid a fairly hefty fee to his financial adviser for advice. His adviser is not the cheapest by a mile. But, here's the difference; The Financial Adviser demonstrated his understanding of my colleagues business right from the first contact. He had done his research - he had prepared! He demonstrated his competence through great testimonials and success stories (Albeit generic due to the compliance restrictions placed on Financial Services) - your prospects want to know that your product or service will work. When you show what others have achieved, you strengthen the emotional journey because buyers will imagine themselves having achieved those same things. He brought insights to my colleagues business that he didn't expect. - He had planned his questions and was prepared to ask those sometimes uncomfortable questions to help the prospective client to "see" things from a different perspective. The Financial Adviser worked hard to be his Trusted Adviser. This client is so loyal to his Financial Adviser that he can't do without him. He refers him to others and pays a monthly retainer for financial advice. THIS IS HOW YOU GET YOUR "HOT PROSPECTS" TO BUY FROM YOU! *********************** ARTICLE END *********************** - To distribute your articles go to http://www.isnare.com/distribution.php - For more free-reprint articles go to http://www.isnare.com |

Did you know that many of our money beliefs were shaped during our childhood? Some of those beliefs were planted unintentionally by our parents while other beliefs came from influential people in our lives. Others rise out of our own personal experiences, especially past negative experiences. For some it can be a fear of writing checks because in the past they have bounced so many. For others, it can be a fear of success. Some beliefs serve us well and are helpful, while others hold us back. Negative money beliefs limit us and hold us back because they block our ability to take in information that is in conflict with them. These beliefs also keep us from seeing how to make meaningful changes, even preventing us from recognizing profitable opportunities right in front of us. As long as we are being held back by negative money beliefs that don't serve us, we go through life blindly following those negative beliefs, without conscious thought or the realization that there are other choices available to us. These negative beliefs and the negative energy that they create in our lives lead to self-sabotage. So, how do you get past this blockage in life? The key is to raise your awareness of your beliefs around money. If you continue to let negative beliefs define your relationship with money, you will always feel like you are fighting with yourself. Here are some of the most common negative money beliefs: •'More money will make my life better' •'Money is bad' or (in some religious circles) 'Money is the root of all evil' •'Money is unimportant' •'I don't deserve money' •'If you are good, God or the universe will provide for you.' This goes hand-in-hand with 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' Do any of these beliefs sound familiar? Have these beliefs held you back, perhaps on a subconscious level? What about your children – what money beliefs are they absorbing? You certainly don't want them carrying on negative beliefs and habits. It's important to free yourself; not only for yourself but so your children can experience freedom and success, too! If you have a belief that is causing you pain, you can change it to one that will get you to where you want to be in your life. You can turn your beliefs from negative to positive. Increasing your wealth is a matter of increasing the quality of your thoughts. If you want to permanently change your financial destiny, you must consciously change your money beliefs. Examine your beliefs about money. Decide which ones will get you to the next level and which need to be replaced with more positive beliefs. Recognizing that you have a negative belief that is holding you back is the first step to changing it. Finding a mentor or coach who has been where you are and can guide you through the maze infinitely faster will make all the difference as well. *********************** ARTICLE END *********************** - To distribute your articles go to http://www.isnare.com/distribution.php - For more free-reprint articles go to http://www.isnare.com |

Thousands of new startup companies have been lunched all over the world based solely on binary options trading. You must have noticed the hundreds of ads for several companies recruiting new sales personal and paying above average in salary and commissions. Trading binary options is now the most popular among not only investors and forex traders but also regular people who are curious about these new phenomena in financial markets. No one ever predict this kind of explosion, and there are many reasons why trading binary option is so popular today: 1. If we compare between binary options trading and all other like forex trading and stock markets we will find that trading binary option has more limited risk than all others, due to the fact that when you purchase a binary option position, a deal is made which allows you to have a right to buy a security asset at the price in the given moment. When you are opening a trade with $100 in certain option you are risking only that $100. 2. The rules with binary options trading is simple, there is no need to have any experience with currency trading, no analyzing experience and no finance knowledge just a simple how to trade with 2 simple rules, call option and put option. You sure need to understand the platform you are working with and all its features before starting any trading. 3. High payout and profitable trading, it is the highest and most profitable business model online and offline today, no other business model can give you such revenue in a short time like binary options. For example a $1000 investment can give you a net profit of $800 in one minute (Yes in 60 seconds you can make 80% profits of any investment you invest). Nothing comes close to this, not even gambling. It is a high risky but also high profit. So basically anyone can join this business model and try to profit from trading binary options; however one very important aspect must be 100% clear, no matter how tempted you are, you must never ever invest money you cannot afford to lose. Binary options as Forex trading in general is a risky business and the chances are very high you will lose the money you are investing, it is a 50/50 chance. But you can find a great risk free strategy to start trading like a broker that offer a risk free trades for their clients you can find one at bostraders.com. Trading the binary options is highly profitable business with high risk, and I do recommend anyone just to try it. You can find a binary options brokers who offer a demo account to start practicing on binary options, most of brokers can give you a demo account, and some other brokers will give you a chance to open an account with as little as $200 to start trying your luck with binary options. So it is available for anyone with any budget to start trading the binary options. So why not? *********************** ARTICLE END *********************** - To distribute your articles go to http://www.isnare.com/distribution.php - For more free-reprint articles go to http://www.isnare.com |

By choosing to make a hand made gift you can also recycle items from around the house and get your creative juices flowing. There's a certain amount of magic, care and special thought that goes into a gift you make yourself and you can entice other friends or your kids to help you out to share the experience, particularly if you're donating to charity or the local school fĂȘte. The possibilities are endless - so get your art on by starting with our suggestions below and adding your own unique touch. HOME MADE BODY PRODUCTS - Making your own beauty products is easier than it sounds! It's also a cost effective way of giving the extended family a Christmas a gift that comes from the heart and not from the pocket. For this gift you can use those old jars you've been keeping (and if you haven't now is a good time to start). Simply dress your gift up with some ribbon or twine and attach a tag to it (you can also make these yourself if you're feeling extra crafty). A really simple recipe for a body scrub you might like to try is using a 2:1 ratio of melted sugar to coconut oil with sugar being the majority ingredient. Mix these together to form a paste and add a few drops of your favourite essential oil or if you have a lemon lying around, squeeze a few drops of lemon juice in. For the men in your life, try this Rosemary Mint Shaving Cream. You'll need: 1/3 Cup Shea Butter & 1/3 Cup Coconut Oil which you will melt together in a pan on a low heat until just melted. Add in 1/4 Cup Jojoba or Sweet Almond Oil and 10 drops of Rosemary essential oil. Stir to mix. Place the mix in the refrigerator until solid then remove and whisk until light and fluffy. Spoon into a jar and keep in a cool, dry place. HOME MADE ART - Even if you're not the best painter in the world (or even in the room), you can still impress your gift recipient with a piece of art worth hanging. Try re-creating the picture on the left by purchasing the canvas size of your choice, a piece of card to go over the top (in this instance as big as you want your apple or image of your choice) and any paint colour of your choice. Take your card and draw the outline of an apple including the stem. You can have a few attempts at this until you get it right then once you're happy with your outline cut the shape out with scissors or a Stanley knife. Now cut out two small areas in the middle of your apple as these will be the pips. Place the card over your canvas and paint being careful that the canvas doesn't move and no paint goes underneath your cardboard cut out (you really want crisp edges). Now paint in your 'pips'. You only need to do around the edge of the card and the pips before you can pull the card away and paint your chosen colour to the edge of the canvas. STAMPING - There's so many things you can make using simple products from around the home and a little paint. Think cards, bags, wrapping paper - anything material. For example, if you were giving a baby shower gift you might take a plain baby blanket and apply a stamping technique using fabric paint and something from the kitchen to create a stamp. A potato is great tool when creating a stamp. Simply cut this in half and etch out your chosen design using a knife in the potato. You could make a star or flower using this method. Or, you can use an apple to create an apple shape (pictured). Once you have your chosen shape, pour your fabric paint into a dish that your stamp will fit into and stamp your shape directly onto the fabric. You can use different colours and different shapes. Allow to dry. The fabric paint will have best washing instructions on the jar which you may want to print out onto a small card and give as part of the authenticity of your hand made gift. Other ideas including using corks for circles or leaves you find outdoors. USING MODELLING CLAY - A visit to your local art store will provide a few options for modelling clay that you can use for a variety of gift purposes. There are lots of colours to use and you can choose from a single colour or a pack containing multiple colours. Some clays need to go in the oven for a short time to harden while others are self-hardening. Whatever you choose, be sure to follow the instructions on the packet. One use for clay that creates a personalised gift is to create herb garden tags. You can do this by shaping your clay into colourful rectangles cut into a triangular shape at one end (the pointy end that goes into the dirt). To create your herb labels simply stamp the name of each herb into the tag. You can buy letter-stamps quite cheaply online or from a stamping shop. Follow the instructions to harden your clay and when ready place each stamp into its matching herb. Present your herbs in a wire or wooden basket as a ready-made chef's garden. Another use for modelling clay is making jewellery. Using any kind of stamp will create an impression in the clay, draw your own design or use your alphabet stamps to spell out your gift recipients name. Add a hole before hardening to thread through your chosen necklace material. HAND MADE SIGN - Making a sign like this is easier than you think and doesn't require too many materials. You'll need board for the background (this could simply be a plank of wood), hammer and nails, string and access to a printer for the lettering. Firstly, choose your phrase and a font that your like, then print it out at the size you want it on your sign. Cut out the lettering and place on your board with easily removed tape. Now, get your nails (make sure they're small - 5ml to 1cm will suffice) and tap them in around the edge of the lettering about 1cm apart. Remove the paper background and tape. Get your string and tie a small not below the head of the nail. This is your starting point and from here you basically want to keep wrapping the string around the other nails, just under the head of each nail. Keep going until you fill in the lines of your 'font' and your word is now clearly visible. Tie off the end and snip any excess string. This gift idea can also be personalised by making your gift recipients name. About The Author: Byron Bay Gifts deliver gifts throughout Australia. Origins of Ayurveda have been traced back to 5,000 BCE, originating as an oral tradition and later as medical texts, Ayurveda evolved from the Vedas. Ayurveda is a discipline of the upaveda or auxiliary knowledge in Vedic tradition. It is treated as a supplement or appendix of the Rigveda. However, some believed that Atharva-Veda is the prime origin of Ayurveda. There are three major principles in Ayurveda, these are the Charaka Samhitha -Treatise on Medicine, Susrutha Samhitha - Treatise on Surgery and Ashtanga Samgraha - Treatise on the basic principles. The samhita of the Atharvaveda itself contains 114 hymns or incantations for the magical cure of diseases. Charak has advised in his samhita that physicians should adhere to Atharva-Veda. The air is nice and crisp and the views are crystal clear and endless, perfect conditions for taking a helicopter tour. You can catch a helicopter ride from Las Vegas or Tusayan, AZ, the small town that sits just outside the front gates of the National Park. Distances From Las Vegas, it's a 45-minute flight to the West Rim. If you want to visit the South Rim, which is 277 miles away, you'll need to go by plane first and then transfer to a helicopter. Tusayan departures get to the rim in about 5 minutes. Lots of travelers ask me about the North Rim, which is closed from November to April. Thus if you want to see the North Rim, I recommend taking a South Rim helicopter ride over it. There's a big distinction between Las Vegas and Tusayan flights. Vegas trips can land at the bottom and the top of the Canyon. South Rim tours, by contrast, are not permitted to fly below the Rim. Thus if you want to land next to the River, you will have to depart from Vegas. Las Vegas Vegas offers a lot of options from which to choose. There are air-only and landing tours and all go over Lake Mead and Hoover Dam before entering Grand Canyon airspace. I personally prefer the landing tours because you get to do and see more. Each of these Vegas flights come in basic and deluxe. The basic flights typically depart from Boulder City, a suburb of Vegas. Deluxe flights, by contrast, come with limousine service and depart from The Strip. They also include a tour over The Strip on the return. The most popular South Rim flights are the 30-minute and 50-minute tours. I prefer the longer one because for just a few dollars more you nearly double your flight time. Further, you get to see up to 75 percent of the Park, including the isolated North Rim. Weather Temperatures at the West Rim are temperate. Usually, the weather you have in Vegas is what you can expect at the West Rim. The South Rim, on the other hand, is colder because it sits at an elevation of 7,000 feet. Snow showers and ice are common. Despite this, there are few flight cancellations due to the weather. I suggest you dress comfortably for your helicopter tour. This means wearing a hat, coat, gloves, a sweater, long pants and running shoes. I've seen people turn up at check-in in shorts and tell me it's "OK" only to get the shivers the minute the heli's door opens. Winter flights are very popular. This is due in part to the fact that people love to travel during Christmas. They also like to celebrate the New Year in a chopper over the best of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. RSVP Considering this, I like to remind folks too book their helicopter tour in advance. I usually recommend one to two weeks ahead of time. That way you'll have a better chance of getting the flight you want. This piece of advice is especially important if you are a group of two or more people. Many people feel bored going to a place that they have been before, as there is nothing new to see. This is however different when you go for Grand Canyon airplane tours, as there is a lot to see every time you are on air. Grand Canyon national park is among the oldest parks in the United States with a wide variety of features you would enjoy seeing. There are two main entrances to the place which include the north rim, which is much smaller located in the remote area with very few visitors. The south rim is the entrance where majority of tourist use when getting in to the park. The difference is actually the number of roads to access the place and the amount of activities. The Grand Canyon is one of the seventh natural wonders of the world, making it a great phenomenon to be missed. There are three options you could consider when touring this park which include through air, walking and road. In the western side you can also do sky walking with is a major thrill for many who go there for the first time because of the height of the cliffs. This will depend on the amount of time you have and of course your budget. The most important thing when going for a family or a personal vacation in this location is planning. Majority of the visitors consider to begin their grand tour by using one of the two main metropolitan airports which is a 12 hour drive from the a park. This is a great option for those who want to spend more time inside the park than traveling on the road. For those going there for the first time or have their family with them, the south rim is appropriate because of the large number of hotel services available. This place also is a high altitude and you ought to take precautions on how you can keep well. You should also choose the appropriate time to visit Grand Canyon because the experience is remarkably different. During summer season, you will get the park fully booked because it is warm with little rainfall. The late spring and early fall, also offer great weather and is less crowded. Winter is the most challenging as many people keep indoors. If you want to save some money, November through February sees the hotels offer many discounts to visitors. If you do not have sufficient time to spend in this location or you would want to view the canyon at a different angle, airplane tour is the best option. There are numerous ways to take advantage of these seasons, but my favorite happens to be airplane and helicopter rides. Air tours take off from two places: Las Vegas, NV, and the South Rim. Both locations offer air-only tours, but only Vegas offers tours that let you explore the top and the bottom of the Canyon. Champagne Picnic In particular is the Vegas helicopter tour that goes to the bottom for a Champagne picnic. Folks who really want to do it all can add a Colorado River boat tour into the mix. The ride that lands on top is often packaged with Skywalk tickets. The Skywalk, which is also known as the Glass Bridge, is one of Vegas' best outdoor attractions. It's famous because it lets you walk some 70 feet past the edge until you wind up being suspended 4,000 over the Canyon floor. One last note about LV helicopters: There are two kinds and they are basic and deluxe. Basic tours start from Boulder City and require a 30-minute shuttle van ride. Deluxe, by contrast, include free limousine pick up and drop off and use the superior EcoStar 130 heli. More Airtime At South Rim, there are 30-minute and 50-minute flights. I recommend you consider the longer tour because not only does it let you double your airtime for just a fraction more money, but by the time you are done you will have seen nearly 5 percent of the National Park. Vegas airplane tours are less expensive than helicopters and often have more seats available. Like helicopters, there are air-only and landing. Again, I prefer the landing trips because you get a more complete experience. At West Rim, the plane tour I like lands at the top and comes with a helicopter ride to the base. It can be extended with a boat tour on the river. There's also one that lets you do the Skywalk, too. Then there's the Vegas direct flight to South Rim, and in the case of this one I like the package that comes with a South Rim helicopter ride. South Rim Plane As for South Rim airplane tours, consider the one that gives you up to 50 minutes of airtime. It basically flies the same route as the 50-minute helicopter and includes the mighty Dragoon Corridor, which is famous for being the widest, deepest section of the National Park. I'm going to recommend that you purchase your Grand Canyon air tour at least a week or two prior to your arrival in Las Vegas or South Rim. Do not buy your trip at the destination or within 72 hours of departure. I say this because you'll end up paying a lot more than if you booked it in advance. I also recommend that you reserve your tour online. Not only is it easier, more convenient and safe, but it's also where you'll get the best deal. I've been done it this way for years and oftentimes have saved up to 35 percent on certain flights, especially the ones that originate from Las Vegas. Weather Finally, it's winter at the Canyon so dress warmly and comfortably. Of course, helicopters and airplanes are climate-controlled. But if you take a landing tour that means you'll be exiting the aircraft. If you do that, you'll want to check weather the day prior to flying and dress accordingly.
