Before I discuss the topic "Social Networking in An Islamic Community", I will like to define what I mean by social networking and what I intend by Islamic Community. This will clarify the topic and define the scope of this article.
Social networking is defined as the grouping of individuals together into to specific groups, often like a small community or a neighbourhood and Islamic society is a community comprised of Muslims governing themselves by the rules and regulations legislated in the Quran and Hadeeth.
In an Islamic society Muslims are organised in both groups and strata. The first stratum is the level of the family. The Islamic family is headed by the father assisted by the wife. Both the welfare and the coordination of the family affairs are in the hands of the father. He is the representative of the societal government in that family.
Another stratum of the government above that of the family is the mosque where the father, being the head of the individual family, is a member. The mosque is headed by the imam. The of the mosque, in turn, is representing the Islamic leadership in the Muslim community. It is the duty of the Imam to give information on the policy or the decision of the Islamic government to the fathers who come to attend the five daily Muslim prayers.
Yet there is another higher stratum above the mosques for daily prayers. This is the Jumat mosque where the Islamic weekly Friday prayer is said. The Imams of the smaller mosques are prominent members of this mosque. The Imam of this Jumat mosque is either the Ameer - Muslim president - or a representative of the Ameer.
Thus the social networking of the Islamic society is designed from the hierarchy of the President through the Imam of the Jumat mosque through the Imam of local mosques down to the family level. The fathers get information from the local mosques. The Imams of the local mosques get information from the Imams of the Central jumat mosques. The Imams of the Jumat mosques in turn receive information from the Ameer who is the highest human authority of the society.
the Muslim social network is like a pyramid. The higher it goes the fewer the people responsibe for the level. There is only one leader or president called Ameer at the topmost helm of the state affair. Next is the level of the Jumat mosques where Imams are heading. These are relatively small representatives of the Muslim community. The next level is that of the Imams of the local mosques whose population is comparatively more than those of the Jumat mosques. The last stratum is that of the fathers heading each family whose number is the highest of the representatives.
Lastly, I must point out here that everybody in an Islamic society has the rights and responsibility in the community. Everybody is under the rule of Islamic laws as contained in the Quran and Hadeeth. No one is superior to the other either in the sight of Allah and in front of the Islamic law.

United Faith Church celebrates Jesus' victory on the cross and explains what joys await those who know just how great this victory is. "Then he placed his right hand on me and said: 'Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades'" (Rev. 1:17-18)
What an awesome and powerful verse! Jesus declares that He is the Living One and that He holds the keys of death and of Hades. He makes it known that He was before all things and that He has overcome all things. United Faith Church believes, in accordance with the very Word of God, that Jesus Christ was the first of many sons to rise from the dead and that He has led the way for many more. United Faith Church trusts that this power of Christ is for all who believe and trust in Him. He beat death, hell and the grave, so that the Church may walk in victory.
Yes, Christ's work on the cross opened the way for people to go to Heaven, but the power He speaks of in this verse is also meant for people to grasp now while here on earth. United Faith Church recognizes that it is by Christ and Christ alone that believers overcome and are continuously taught to surrender to Christ. Surrendering to Christ then allows Him to lead them into victory on a daily basis. His power is for those who are being led, who have put their trust in Christ to be brought from death to life now. His power is for believers to overcome sin at all times. His power is for us to never again be entangled by the corruption of this world, but to overcome the world.
United Faith Church Beliefs
UFC believes in this transforming power of Christ and has seen signs, wonders and miracles in the lives of those who have trusted and believed in Him. There is no reason, at all, for the Church to be dead when Christ is holding the keys of death and Hades in His hands. How amazing is it that, by His grace, He has locked death away from His people! What does that mean? When those who trust in Christ come into salvation, they are given God's Spirit in exchange for the death in which they once lived. How amazing the results of this victory and what good news this is for those who share in the win!
United Faith Church embraces the truth that by His Spirit, believers are given the ability to live the abundant life that Jesus Christ offers. May the sons and daughters of God continually go forth as a people who display the life He has so graciously imparted to them and to daily walk in His victory. Thank you God for the victory!

Do you actually know who your neighbors are? Do you know your daughters boyfriend or who is watching your children when you go out to dinner?
This may sound a little overboard, but these days we all know that things have changed a lot since we were children. I can remember leaving our windows open at night with no worries at all. Could we do that today? Absolutely not.
Today on the local news all we hear about is someone who broke into to someone's home and terrorized or even killed them through the night and most of the time it is either someone they knew or someone who lived close by.
Would you really want to take the chance of that happening to you or your family? Have you ever thought of doing some checking around the neighborhood to find out who these people that live close to you really are and if they have a past you would not be comfortable with?
It's so important to know these things and take the safety precautions for your families sake and for your own. I know of some families that have been through these terrible, horrific situations and is scar's you for life, there is no going back, once something like this has happened to you.

Taking precautions just may save someone's life and stop the crime in your area.

There are times on your weight loss journey when progress can come to a halt. Days or weeks can go by without you seeing movement on the scale, and it can get downright frustrating. After working with thousands of clients, I have noticed certain patterns that can cause this weight loss stoppage. Here are 3 of those patterns.
Do not eat more than what you need or your body can handle
Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Zone Delivery Service, and other diet systems have one undeniable benefit to them – they define for the average person how large an actual "serving" is. Most of us underestimate the volume of food we eat and consequently, underestimate the number of calories we consume in a day.
By fixing in your head what a serving size or "portion" of food looks like, we can better estimate (and consequently, evaluate and calibrate) the amount of food we eat at each meal. Keep in mind, when it comes to weight loss, you need to take in fewer calories than you burn each day.
Do not eat bigger portions than what your body needs
A portion of meat (3 oz.) is the size of a deck of cards. A portion of carbohydrates (1 cup) is the size of a tennis ball. Please remember to fill up on non-starchy vegetables – they are full of nutrients, have very little impact on blood sugar, and contain little in the way of calories.
Control how often you eat and when you eat what
It is a social custom to eat "three square meals" a day. While this may do for social purposes, for weight loss, you will want to aim for more frequent feedings. It is recommended that you consume a minimum of 5-6 small meals each day. By doing so, your body gets the signal that food is abundant, and there is no need to conserve energy.
Additionally, frequent feedings maximize your metabolism, as your body is constantly busy, burning calories by digesting your meals. By not letting too much time pass between meals, you stabilize blood sugar levels since they never really get the chance to drop. By keeping your blood sugar stable, your hunger levels are minimized, decreasing the chances that you will be tempted to overeat at your next meal.
Think of the things you drink that might b high in calories
This is a very common problem among those attempting weight loss, due to the abundance of "healthy" diet smoothies, protein concoctions, and weight loss shakes. There are 2 factors to keep in mind when relying on these liquid meal replacements.
First, many of the liquid diet shakes on the market and all fruit smoothies have an abundance of sugar in them. This causes an immediate surge in energy followed by a huge crash due to the release of insulin to control the blood sugar rise. This dramatic shift in blood hormone levels (particularly insulin levels) is something you want to avoid, both for health reasons and for weight loss.
Secondly, most weight loss shakes are devoid of fiber. Fiber is one of your most precious allies when you are dieting. It helps you feel full and blunts the rise in insulin levels when all that sugar hits your bloodstream. While fruit smoothies do contain some of the fiber from the pulp of the fruit, a better strategy would be to eat the actual fruits contained in the smoothie.
Lastly, the amount of calories that can be concentrated into a shake or smoothie is far greater than the equivalent volume of actual food. A 16 oz fruit smoothie may contain as many as 600 calories, and will not fill you up all that much! On the other hand, eating 600 calories of fruit will prove to be much more than the typical person can manage in a single sitting (at least, I personally don't know anyone that can eat more than 2 pounds of bananas at a single sitting! Think about it- when making major dietary changes, you want to get the most out of your calories. Would not you rather fill up, rather than drink something and be hungry again soon after?

Don't eat carbohydrates after 5 pm in the evening as your body will not have sufficient time to use up all the energy they release. The body converts excess energy into fat.
Use meats and drinks wisely to cut eight
Eat protein but chose the leaner cuts of meat and forget about sausages and other processed foods for now. Don't exclude all treats but go for quality rather than quantity. Stop eating when you are full and not when your plate is empty. Do not mistake being thirsty for feeling hungry.
