Its quite common for people who work in marketing to get the question "So what exactly is marketing?" and it can't be answered with one quick sound bite. Here is my attempt at trying to answer it.

The main responsibilities of a marketing department are:

1. Staying close to customers, understanding their needs and wants and constantly look for beneficial product or service enhancements to introduce – and then to mobilise their organisations to go ahead and introduce them.

2. Communicating the product's or brand's unique benefits to potential customers so that those people become aware of why they should prefer their particular organisation's product or brand to competing ones.

3. For existing customers, making them stay loyal to the brand, buy more frequently and (or) buy in larger quantities. Loyalty schemes are a good example of this.

In an ideal scenario a product or service being marketed has something about it that, in the eyes of customers, is genuinely different and better than the competition.

The marketing team responsible can then use that competitive advantage as the foundation on which to base their promotional activity.

Unfortunately, for most organisations this "ideal" scenario does not exist. What is more commonly seen in many sectors is that truly unique product benefits are hard to find and, if you do find them, very quickly copied.

Marketing in larger companies

This set of circumstances often leads to a situation where the highest profile marketing activity is often generated by larger businesses that have a limited amount of real product or service advantage but enjoy relatively high gross margins. They can then use these higher margins to fund significant advertising in an attempt to "talk-up" the very small differences they actually have.

In this scenario, if a product is experienced or seen without the presence of any visible branding, customers often can't find any apparent differences with competing products.

The marketing executives responsible therefore seek to make the combined package of product and brand stronger by using high visibility, powerful marketing (often TV advertising).

These marketing campaigns are intended to "wrap" the product in a brand that makes customers believe in its superiority or shows them that it can satisfy other needs they have - some examples might be their psychological need for enhanced social status or maybe a need for enhanced attractiveness to the opposite sex.

These types of psychological benefits are often referred to as a brand's "emotional benefits". Combined with any "physical benefits" the product may have they are the key ingredients that can go to make a strong brand.

Smaller company marketing

Smaller organisations have smaller marketing budgets and the marketing activities typically carried out are more likely to be lower profile things like trade shows, advertising (but not TV), product or company videos, e-mail campaigns, online banners and promotions through social media.

Conclusion

Organisations invest in marketing to drive growth. It might be revenue growth, profit growth, membership growth but growth is what they are looking for and is the criteria, in well run organisations, by which marketing success will be judged.

Milos is an extremely picturesque island in Greece, which has high tourist attraction during the mid summer (June - August), and other seasons as well. The island has a number of beautiful beaches that combined with the mystical Grecian hospitality and tradition make an irresistible holiday destination. Make the decision right now, explore it yourself, Milos will amaze you. As it is common in tourist locations, accommodation is done specifically to cater to the tourists' tastes and budget. Hotels in Milos are specifically designed to meet this need.

In Milos, hotels are in plenty, and they are of all types and categories. From A category hotels which are synonymous to the five star hotels elsewhere, to the extremely comfortable B category and C category. Each hotel comes fully equipped with all the modern amenities such as air conditioning, telephone, fax, daily cleaning services, laundry, color TV, sauna, beauty parlors for men and women, massage parlors, children recreational facilities, car for hire, sightseeing tours, business centers (with secretary, meetings and mimeograph services) and many others. Some of them have breakfast inclusive in the tariff and almost all of them offer free Wi-Fi.

The A category Milos hotel differs from the other categories in the room space and view; the service is impeccable in all the types. The A category hotel also has almost always an excellent location - close to the beach or on the beach; they provide to and from transfer from the port or airport, and sometimes sightseeing tours.

The B category hotels are usually available close to the beach and are a hot favorite for all tourists - those who come with their families, single or with groups. Most B hotels give bed and breakfast tariffs and usually have a wonderfully lavish breakfast buffet. These hotels also come with all the modern trapping of the today's world. Besides, you will also find fantastic barbeque parties organized by the hotel for the joy and enjoyment of the tourists.

The C category hotels are mostly located a bit away from the beaches. Nonetheless, 80 per cent of the rooms are constructed in such way that they have a sea-view. These hotels are mostly built close to marketing and shopping malls giving you the advantage of seeing and using good local markets for a number of things. Hospitality in the hotel is great - as it is all over this wonderful island - other than location you will not lack in anything else in these hotels. People all over this island are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make tourists comfortable and fully enjoy their location.

Besides a hotel in Milos island there are a number of other accommodation choices, such as luxury villas (where a whole family can stay comfortably at almost the same cost as in a hotel) with kitchen and maid help, condos and normal villas for budget holiday plans and studios (with and without a kitchenette) accommodation for student and back-packer budgets. These differ mainly from one another in cost, location and available space. As with every Milos hotel, these properties boast of excellent hospitality and typical Grecian ambiance as well, that prompt the tourists who visit once to return again and again and again.

Personal Safety

Have you ever been afraid to walk alone are you always looking behind you for some unseen threat? Many of us have had the same feeling and it's justified by all the bad news we hear. Who does not have a friend that was attacked, robbed, raped or worse murdered while just walking to the store? Our streets are not safe and assaults have become all too common. Here is one methodology that ladies can use to turn the tables on an aggressor.

Lipstick pepper sprays have been designed for girls but should be carried by men too. The pretend lipstick can defend you from an attacker or even an animal. Handy for joggers or anyone UN simply walking to a parking space. Recently a girl was grabbed and abducted as she walked home from the bus. You most likely saw it on the national news because it was recorded by a monitoring camera. It's especially necessary for ladies work alone like in real estate. Meeting strangers in vacant properties at all hours is dangerous for them and upsetting to their families. There are many assaults on sales ladies of late.

Walking to your automobile has become dangerous a day doesn't go by without hearing about somebody being attacked. Simply looking out for men is not enough; ladies out there are as dangerous as any man. We live in dangerous times and don't rely on anyone else coming to help you, it is necessary to defend yourself.

Be aware of your surroundings, when talking on the phone you want to be alert, don't get lost in the call. It is easy to be assaulted and your phone taken right out your hand. Stay alert to danger and you will have more time to run away or defend yourself. Mace spray will be a life saver if you defend yourself. Your life could depend on your alertness, be ready for anything.

Have your spray within easy reach carry it in your pocket or bag for fast access. If you are feeling nervous or scared, go to your pocket or bag and pull out the spray and be set to spray your aggressor in the face.

To use the spray take off the cap, point it at the aggressors face then press the button. Once you have sprayed the attacker run to a safe place. If it is windy protect your eyes with your other hand. The sprays effective distance is approximately 6-8 feet.

Knowing you are carrying Mace in your bag will make you feel safer. The Mace aerosol is convenient and easy to carry and gives you protection where ever you are. It's a very reliable non-lethal protection weapon that stops aggressor.

Mace is an inflammatory chemical that should be used only for self-defense. It will cause coughing, choking, nausea, burning eyes and briefly stop an aggressor. A burst will stop an attack while not inflicting any permanent injury and the effects will wear off after about 45 minutes.

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Emily: So here today on Creative Spotlights, we're featuring Steven Memel, a celebrity vocal and performance coach based out of LA Steven has worked with many singers including Adam Levine and Jesse McCartney and also actors Drew Barrymore and Justin Long, Isabella Rossellini to say the least.

The goal of this interview is to get your perspective as a coach on what it takes for a music artist to express himself fully and get the success they seek in the entertainment industry.

My first question is what pulled you to become a coach and help others in the entertainment industry?

Steven: Good question, well people wanted my help. It's a strange thing. I say sometimes it "chased" me down. I had a rather auspicious beginning as in I needed to graduate from college and I needed two extra units. I had already been singing for a couple of years, I was 19 and so I took a beginning voice class. On the first day, I sang and the teacher said, "Okay, what are you doing in this class?" Well, I was honest and I said, "I need the units." She knew my teacher. She said, "Okay, you can stay in this class if on the day that I split up the men and the women, I'll take the women, I'll give you the classroom and you teach the men."

Emily: You teach the men? Great!

Steven: I know, yeah. I got my own classroom and a bunch of students. That kind of thing kept happening. I studied with an acting teacher and they'd say, "Do you teach voice?" My voice teachers that I had worked with, they'd say, "I want to send you my overflow students." So I guess people were seeing something and so I kind of fell into it like that.

Then I left it for a while. And then, several years later (ten years later or whatever), somebody started really asking me again and I just went, "Okay…" I yield. I hung up my shingle and the rest is history.

Emily: Wow! Okay. That sounds really amazing. Tell me about your 'Science of Switching On' technique and how it attracts artists to you and just anything you want to share about that.

Steven: Sure, the 'Science of Switching On' – well, let me backtrack and say that the only thing that drew me to teaching was not this fortuitous stuff. It was also I had a real love of seeing the underlying structure of things. And so if I really look at it, it was always a leaning of mind to break things down and explain them to other people. I think teachers just have that desire.

And so, the 'Science of Switching On' kind of came to me when I was 21, but I didn't really codified it and called it that until many, many years later.

I'm involved in so many arts. I'm a dancer. I'm an actor. I've directed. I've done film/television, and recorded in the recording studio. I've done voiceover. I've produced. I mean, you name it, I've done it.

What became extremely clear is that there's really one set of principle that lead to mastery. The channel just is different depending upon what discipline you're involved in.

So in singing, which is where I originally made my mark as a coach. In singing, the voice is the channel. And therefore, having an understanding of the channel and the mechanics involved and the ability to removing obstacles towards its greatest expression of not only your feelings, but it's created an expression of color and tone and dynamics, that is an important piece.

But also being equally versed as an actor and a director and having studied an enormous amount of psychology, spirituality, personal development with being a movement person because I have been a dancer, all these things came together and I saw that there were these elements that were inextricably unified to be able to be a master at any discipline.

Now because you have to make an entry somewhere, since I was teaching singing and since I was coaching performance of singing also, that's where I decided to originally begin. The differentiation of what I do in the 'science of switching on' is most people have a big understanding of performance or acting or they have a big understanding of real deep skill set at the technical aspects and a moderate understanding of performance.

Because I come from where they are completely unified, inextricably linked, then that's the uniqueness of the work I do with singers and performers. There is really no clinging separation line between the technique and the inner work, between the outside and the inner.

The simplest demonstration of that is asking the question, "Is your body going to be in the same state when you're standing in front of a teacher, in front of a piano and you're doing vocal exercises that it's in when you're in stage in front of a thousand people? Of course not.

Is it in the same state during that moment when you're in front of the teacher as when you're expressing anger, when you're expressing joy? No, the body is consequently in a dynamic state.

Therefore, to practice technique only as a mechanical attribute, then it's not the same because intention needs to move the body and shift the body and shift the physiology and shift the mind.

And so these things have to be brought together as a unified whole to really have that extraordinary "it" factor/hit the zone/lose the self/become the character, whatever it is.

So that's the 'Science of Switching On'.

Emily: Wow. Thank you. That's an amazing explanation. It definitely sounds like the artist needs to have an extreme self-awareness, a sense of self-awareness on –like you mentioned, their intention with their technical gifts or skills, to create that creative performance for themselves. And also, the environment is really important.

Steven: Exactly. And not only that, over the last couple of years, my intention was always to develop it in the arts, but then move it into business and expand into other areas.

I've been working with entrepreneurs and business owners and just people in all walks of life bringing the same principles together of mastery. The principles that enable one to become a high-performer, a top performer in the arts, those are the same principles that enable people to become a high-performer in any area of endeavor, human endeavor.

Emily: Right. Even in a professional setting as well.

Steven: Yes, because if you even think about what are the levels of communication, "Am I communicating authentically?" if it's about my business, if it's about my brand, what is my voice, what's the story that my voice is telling, is it that I'm a powerful person while I'm talking about power or is it communicating some undermining other impression that, "Oh, he's got a weak voice," you know?

Emily: That's great because it explains your philosophy. Right there was so philosophical on how you see the world spiritually, the inner energy and the outer stuff too.

Steven: We all as human beings (or most of us I should say) vastly dramatically under-estimate ourselves and undervalue ourselves. If we only knew how amazing we were, we would have so much more of that amazing at our disposable.

One of my basic philosophies and obviously, if somebody walks in my studio, I'm not going to throw this at them, we'll start with the scales, but ultimately, whether it's ever spoken or whether it's tacitly understood through the sense of wholeness that one has when you finally embrace your ability, we are intrinsically so valuable that nothing we ever do in our life can add to that one bit and nothing we ever fail to do can detract from it one bit. It's a done deal that they were born (and some would say, from the day before the day we were born).

So what life is about is owning that unbelievable vast value and that unbelievable understanding of the beauty of human life and our life and then saying, "While I have this time here on earth, what do I want to create? What do I want to make it about?"

If we can maintain that position, much better. What is not a joy can become a joy.

Emily: I want to ask you're in LA, you see the acting scene and music scene, how is it? What do you see going five years from now?

Steven: Wow! Yeah. Well, it's the wild west. I like to say it's the wild west.

Emily: Yeah, I've heard that before.

Steven: Yeah, I'm sure. The reality is that the acceleration of change is so intense that the one thing we have to become good at now is change and navigating our way through things that will not remain the same most likely and that are incredibly volatile and dynamic.

So the more capable we are of doing that, the better we're going to survive the industry. And if you want to put it down to street terms, I say, "You got to be scrappy." You just got to say, "You just got to be scrappy. How do I make it work?"

So ultimately, right now, it's about people developing their own audiences, people building their fanbase. And when you have visibility, when people see you, then you have a good shot. But you need the other element of being a real hardcore entrepreneur. It's not a day's work where you can say –

I mean, some people still can walk into this. There's no rule or anything, but it's not the same way that most people can expect somebody to go and take them and then make it happen for them. You lucky if you get that.

But for most of us as artists, we have to be an entrepreneur at the same time. Know our business. Spend 50% of the time on understanding the business, understanding what impacts fans, understanding the channels you can use, being able to measure so that you're not going on instinct.

"Well, I like doing this channel."

Well, what's the result you're getting and are you able to convert that into hard cash because if you want to make a living as an artist, then you have to understand your sources of income and how to create them and turn your streams on for yourself. It's not that it can't happen any other way, but that's the way it happen.

Emily: Love it. My final question is regarding legacy. At the end of the day, what do you want the people you work with, what do you want to leave behind for them? At the end of the day, how do you want them to remember your work?

Steven: Legacy, if we're going from a general place, the legacy I want is to leave my son thriving and healthy. Of course, every parent would say that, but that's the impact I would like to make.

And then on the world, what I'd like to leave is the impact of having contributed a set of tools to which I'm hoping there's some originality or if not even originality, that it's just another voiced thing in a new way that would affect people's lives and help them achieve their goals in a powerful way. I'm sure you've heard this. This is:

"To laugh often and much

To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children

To earn the appreciation of honest critics

and endure the betrayal of false friends

To appreciate beauty

To find the best in others

To leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child,

a garden patch or a redeemed social condition

To know even one life has breathed easier because you lived

This is to have succeeded..."

That is the impact I want to leave.

Black and white photography is such a cool way to transform and show of your photos. Ofcourse we can all show off or display our photos in colour and that does look great but sometimes it's nice to take a modern day photo and turn them into an olden day looking black and white photography photograph.

An amazing looking canvas print really does the job and looks great as a black and white canvas photo print. You can even choose to have your photo print made into a sepia effect before having it transformed into a work of art to.

All photography was all made in a monochrome effect, or basically it was black and white. The really great thing about a black and white photo is that it gives your photograph a close type of look and even after colour photos became available black and white photos were still a big hit due to how great it looks.

Now that we have the software available on our computers, usually its Photoshop elements that is standard software that you will get for free when you purchase a modern day computer from any shop. You can use Photoshop to very easily change your colour photo into black and white or monochrome which is the proper saying for it. If you don't have photoshop on your computer and you have excess to the internet then you could go online and look at the many website that offer you to be able to edit your photo to black and white or you can choose some of the other effects that are available to. Whichever design or effect you choose, making canvas prints from your black and white photos will look really great. You can play around this shadows on your image before its printed to canvas to. Sometimes if you have a colourful image that has a lot of dark areas and then when turned to black and white it might make your photo look to dark, So the key to that is by using the shadows tool on your photoshop elements to make the photo brighter and then that will take away the dark areas so you can see the whole photo. That's a great tool to use for any sort of image when printing to canvas.

Knowing how to change your photos in to a black and white classic effect for canvas printing is such great fun and requires not much skill at all. If you are unsure on how to change your images to how you want them for the purpose of canvas photo printing then you could ask the canvas printing companies if they can help you achieve the look you're trying to capture as they can be very helpful and to them it's a walk in the park. Firstly all you have to do is email them the photo and they can change the image to the colour you want and then they would email you back a proof of that photo for you to check over to see if you like the finished effect. The once your happy your simply give them the go ahead to print your photo proof on to canvas and there you have it.

One thing to remember about canvas prints and all types of canvas printing methods is that they all look great and especially once they are placed on your walls, but most of all it's a lot of fun to so you can get what you want as a canvas print, have your walls looking great and having lots of fun in the process.

Ever wondered what it would be like to have your own photography printed onto an amazing looking canvas print. Many of us like to look at our loved ones wile relaxing in our homes and a lot of us like to take really great looking photos and put them in photos frames but wouldn't it be a good idea if you could have your own personal photos made to look like artwork.

There's a new product going round that is called canvas prints and this type of wall decoration idea is great for many reasons.

One great reason is if you're looking to decorate your home with something unique and something that really catches your eye as canvas printing is a very colourful and wonderful thing to look at once it's up on your wall. The type of inks that are used for a modern day canvas print are called high uv inks, or another term for them is called inkjet or dye inks. Both types of inks give such an amazing vibrant effect and the colours are so bright and beautiful to look at. It even makes your original photo much better in quality and colour.

Another really great thing about canvas photo prints is that they are very affordable to. Some top end websites charge a lot for them which aren't really good of them to do so as canvas prints are all made the same way and they cost around the same to produce so they should all really be set at a price in sizes which would be very handy. That way you wouldn't have to shop around for them and you could be confident you're getting them for the right deal. The good thing about looking for canvas prints online is that you have many different websites to choose from so im sure you will find the right one for you.

One Really cool way to get your own photo on canvas to is by sending your photos to a canvas printing company through a social media, you can send them your photos via your phone or if you have a computer you can send them your photos that way to. I would advise that you only order a small canvas print, up to A2 size max really because if you're sending your photo through social media like Face Book then your image will automatically be sides down so it can be transferred onto the internet, that means your image will only blow up to something like A3 or A2 before it starts to pixel. If you want a bigger canvas print form your digital photo then you are better to send you photo via email or upload it through the canvas prints website, that way they can get the full original photo from you to print with, the bigger the image the better your photo will print and the more clear and colourful the quality will be to.

If you're looking to turn heads or even if you just want to be proud of your wall décor then colourful canvas prints might be the option for you as they really do look great, you can hang them anywhere and they look stunning either way. You could get a really big canvas print and hang it in your living room so it's the centre piece of your living space or if you just want something to decorate a small wall area in your toilet then you could get a small canvas print of a beach scene or a lighthouse on a cliff, something that's very relaxing would do the job just nicely.

Photography is such an amazing science to us all. We use it in our day to day lives and sometimes even without realising it. We use photography to create our own impression of art through the medium of photographs, weather its by using a mobile phone or the top of the range camera and lenses which ever we decide to use we do it so we can capture those precious moments in life.

Once we take our photos it's down to us to try and display them in the best way possible. Sometimes we opt for the normal wooden frame and glass option which is a very nice way to show off your photos but wouldn't it be even better if you could turn your art in to artwork by using the medium of canvas printing to transform your photo into a canvas photo masterpiece. Not only does photography help us with capturing the images we want to keep but there's also an art form in how you go about capturing that object or particular person or screen. If you use the lighting correctly and think that what your seeing will be printed on to a canvas print before you take that shot then you have a better chance of that finished canvas print looking totally amazing. Planning is key when it comes to producing that ultimate and stunning photograph and if you get the right moment on camera then you have the opportunity to display that image you love so dearly on a beautiful woven inkjet canvas which is hand crafted from start to finish. The canvas is then stretched over a beautiful looking and professional wooden stretcher bar frame for its finishing touch.

The beauty of being able to print your photos whether they are professional or simply a photo that you have taken with your disposable camera is just great and the other great thing about having your photos printed by a professional canvas printing business is that they really appreciate your photo and how they make their canvas prints and that simply gives you such an amazing end product for you to then hang up on your wall.

Most other forms of printing simply require the touch of a button on a computer and then the printer does the work to make your photograph in to a hard copy for you to use at your disposal. There is a big difference in how a canvas print is made to a photograph, although like a photograph you only need a couple of clicks of a mouse to send the photo to the printer to print it to canvas, there is also a lot of editing that is done before the image is sent to the printer for printing. The image needs sizes up to the correct size, thus taking into account and wrap around the wooden frame that might take place. It could be different depths for the frame that that is taken into account. Also any editing of the actually photography takes place before printing it to, especially of there is any effects to be included on the photo first.

The joys and the passion that goes into a very hearty photography canvas prints is so very technical and very appreciative to the eye. It's like you have taken a photograph and painted it onto canvas with your bear hands but the printer has done the work for you, it really is a beautiful thing to see up on your wall which is why so many people have the pleasure these days to be able to convert their own personal photos and transform them onto really unique and eye catching canvas prints for them to enjoy.

Would you like to be able to earn some extra money from the comfort of your own home? You would. Well it is possible all you need to do so is a good internet connection along with a good computer or laptop.

As you will see below there are several ways of how to make money easily from home.

1. Get Paid For Taking Surveys

There are numerous websites that are looking for your opinion and will pay you a fee for doing so. Most of these sites allow you to join them for free and will then provide you with between 5 and 7 surveys that you then need to complete each week. In the majority of cases depending on the kinds of surveys they ask you to complete you can get paid between $2 and $10 for each one. However it may be some time before you begin to earn a good income from these and of course you will need to join several sites if you want to earn more than just a few dollars each week. But it is the ideal way of earning some extra money whilst you spend your time browsing the net.

2. Work For Google

You may not realise it but Google sometimes offer up telecommuting jobs. These positions aren't always easy to come by but it is worth checking on their site regularly to see if any openings have occurred. Some of the jobs they offer simply require you to read their ads in order to ensure that they make sense, so not many skills are required for these. Okay it may seem like easy work, but then just imagine including on your CV that you have worked for one of the world's top ranking companies.

3. Become A Translator

Do you speak more than one language and are able to translate it in written form? If you can then there are plenty of companies who are looking for translators to work for them. There are numerous sites dedicated to such work plus you may find on sites like Elance people asking for someone to translate a particular from one language to another. For the more experienced translators they could end up to $50 whilst those starting out could earn between $10 and $15 per hour. The work here is quite varied and can be anything from translating all the content on a website to just one document.

4. Sell On eBay

Do you have any thing at home that you don't use or has never been used? Then why not think about getting rid by selling it on eBay. It is very easy to get started. You just set up an account then you start to post photos along with a description of the items you want to sell. However if you want to succeed you need to make sure that you respond quickly to any questions or queries potential bidders or buyers may have for the items you are selling.

5. Write & Copy Edit

Have you a background in writing or copy editing? If you do then there are plenty of opportunities now available for you to make money easily from home. Even if you don't have such experience there are still opportunities available to you as well. What you get paid of course depends on your experience and for those who have any experience then starting of using sites like Fiverr and Elance is highly recommended. Both of these offer you the opportunity to gain experience and to be able to write on a variety of different subjects. Initially what you get paid is quite low but once you start to gain experience and you start to gain a reputation you can then begin to charge what you feel your skills are really worth.

6. Get Into Affiliate Marketing

Like most of the opportunities mentioned above when it comes to becoming an affiliate marketer you don't need to invest a great deal of money in getting the business up and running. This is because what you are selling is for somebody else and you simply ask as an intermediary between them and the customer. Therefore with such a business all you need to do is set up a website where potential customers are directed and somewhere on there that the orders can be placed. Once an order has been placed and the item purchased the person whose product you are selling will despatch it to the customer and you earn commission on the item sold.

If you decide to go down this route make sure that you select a niche that you are interested in and also select a product that you know will have some value to the customer. It is important to select something that interests you so that you can provide content that is unique and will help your potential customers to solve any issues that they may have.

All of these opportunities offer you a way of how to make money easily from home. But in order for your business to succeed you need to be willing to dedicate both time and effort to get it up and running. This may mean you having to invest some money in creating a website that potential customers find attractive as well as paying to place some ads on pages of Google that will direct potential customers to your business as well. However how much you spend can be very small.

Another way of course to help ensure that you create a successful online business that allow you to make money easily from home is to set up a Twitter or Facebook page. Make sure that you set yours up as a business rather than a personal one and then start to add content to it regularly to ensure that you keep attracting customers to your business. Plus don't forget to include the icons to show visitors to your website that you have social media pages that they can visit as well.
