Through the years I realised that there are many more benefits to the tennis journey I was on then there were downfalls, my childhood environment definitely had an affect on my social anxiety disorder through my mid 20's to my early 30's but it's important for me not to have any regrets in life, even my parents separation at the age of 17 and my dad telling my mom goodbye before departing to his hometown was something I learned from.

Being a professional or amateur athlete can truly turn you into a great person, in fact some of the life lessons you learn in sports can not be taught, only experienced and fully understood at the time. For example self discipline, that's something nobody can really teach you it's something that you gain by following your passion and having a clear image in your mind of how you want the outcome to be, and then taking action in a way that isn't self destructive. It teaches you that life can be unpredictable and the importance of preparation, and most importantly it teaches you that it's OK to fail and that greatness in any sport or occupation is measured by the way a person reacts to falling, failure then is expected and the pressure to be perfect is lifted from the shoulders.

I had a teacher by the name of Mr Kelso back in high school who was a man that looked very much like Santa Claus with his scruffy white beard, big belly and amazingly strong presence. He was my social studies and physical education teacher, it's funny that when I think back to high school the only teacher that jumps to my mind is Mr Kelso. He was the only teacher I had that cared about how I was developing as a tennis player, as well as a person, can you think of a similar person from your past?

I consider my life quite a success in my eyes but most of my teachers taught me useless junk back then that I rarely got a chance to use and apply in my adult years, but Mr Kelso stuck out because he took the time to come watch me compete in tennis tournaments all the time and he also taught me the ability to take criticism well. Professional athletes are always faced with some kind of criticism from somewhere, for me it was some of my first tennis coaches saying i'll never be a professional tennis player because I was too small, or how my fellow tennis players would mention to me how skinny I was and that I would never be able to do anything in sports because of that. Criticism used to upset me and at a later age I was actually afraid of being criticised because it greatly added to my high levels of anxiety that turned into being labeled as having an anxiety disorder, until I changed my reaction to it and remembered the lessons Mr Kelso taught me back in high school.

We will receive criticism from many many people in our lives but it's important to consider who is giving you the criticism and separate them by importance to you as a person, finally it's important to change your perspective on what criticism is, view it as an opportunity to improve yourself rather then getting caught up in feeling embarrassed or humiliated.

Article Title: Planning a Grand Canyon Bus Tour

One of the most economical ways of visiting the Grand Canyon is by bus. However, without proper planning, you could wind up getting an over-priced tour that takes you to the wrong part of the National Park.

    From Las Vegas & Phoenix

The first step toward avoiding this scenario is to pick a starting point. Bus tours depart from Las Vegas, NV, and Phoenix, AZ, every day of the year including all major US holidays. If you heading out from Vegas, you will choose between the West Rim and the South Rim. Those in Phoenix will go to the South Rim.

Vegas visitors going to the West Rim need to be aware of the many side trips that can be added to their package. My favorite is the helicopter ride to the bottom combined with a boat ride down the famous Colorado River. Others will want to stick with just the Grand Canyon Skywalk.

Then there's the South Rim from Vegas. This trip is incredibly popular and requires a full day to complete (the drive to the canyon is 5.5 hours one way!). It comes with up to 3 hours inside the Park, and you hit all the key sights. Many like to add a rim-to-rim helicopter tour to the mix.

Phoenix travelers can get trips that include a stop in beautiful Sedona, AZ, home of the red rocks. Then it's off to the South Rim, which many refer to as the "official" national park. Like the Vegas South Rim trip, this one includes plenty of time to explore the canyon and can also include a helicopter ride.

    Complete Package

Bus tours are all-inclusive. This means they include free hotel pick up and drop off, lunch, all park entrance fees and taxes and professional guide service. Personally, I like this set up because it allows me to focus on getting the small things together for me and my group (eg cameras, cell phones, sun block, snacks and more).

Try to book your bus trip at least as week in advance. I know that sounds like a lot of time but in the end it will nearly guarantee you get a seat. I've heard of solo travelers getting seats within 24 hours of departure but that seems to be the exception. Frankly, I don't like the stress of planning a trip while I'm doing it so I like to tie up lose ends before I get to town.

Buses can transport 40 or more people at a time. If that's too big of a crowd for you, consider booking a van tour. These customized touring vans come with all the bells and whistles and are limited to 10 people. The benefit to this is that you spend more time experiencing the canyon as opposed to burning time on logistics like the big buses do.

    Conclusion

I hope this article on how to plan for a Grand Canyon bus tour proved helpful. Remember, it all starts off with picking your starting point, the best of which are Las Vegas and Phoenix. Then you have to choose which rim to visit. I say go to the West Rim if you like attractions and thrills; go to the South Rim if you prefer natural scenic beauty. Most definitely book this trips in advance, and make sure you do it online. I'm adamant about this because that's how you get the best prices. Lastly, complete the transaction online in order to get the Internet discount.

Article Title: How to Have a Successful Internet Marketing Joint Venture Business

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

In the world of internet marketing, a joint venture is a business agreement between two (or more) parties where they agree to share resources (like email lists for example) towards the promotion of each others products. The joint venture agreement can be for a specific period of time or it can be an ongoing venture.

When looking for a potential partner in the creation of a joint venture, you need to keep a number of factors in mind. The points provided below will help you identify people who would make good partners when it comes to expanding your internet marketing business.

Is It a Product or Service That Sells Well?

You want to find a product / service that sells, and sells well. You need something that people want, not something that people need. People buy wants a lot more than they buy needs.

Is your product or service targeted towards a niche market? Is there a big demand for it? Are the customers in that market rabid for products like yours? Are they easy to reach?

    How Can You Endorse It?

This is one of the most important factors in the success or failure of your Joint Venture. You have to send an endorsement (recommendation) to your list. NOT a blatant sales letter type ''endorsement''.

The endorsement has to convey the fact that you are trying to help your client base, not sell them something. You are doing a favor to your clients and that you've gone out of your way for them to bring them this special offer – that's how it needs to be conveyed.

That's why you should always offer a special privileged rebate on the product or service. Write the endorsement as if you were personally talking to them – and them only.

What Is The Price Of The Product Or Service?

The price has to be along the lines of the cost of what has already been sold to the list. Trying to sell a several hundred dollar product to a mailing list that's used to buying cheap products is not a good idea.

How Targeted Is The List Vs. Your Product? Or Vice Versa?

The more targeted, the better. Don't expect to make megabucks if you match a book on doll collecting with a financial newsletter or e-zine. If the offer is not very targeted, the deal will flop.

There can be exceptions to this rule however. Special occasions like Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter etc. can be used as a reason to buy. So you can match 2 completely unrelated businesses and the deal will probably work.

How Good Is The Client/Subscriber Relationship?

Another very important factor. You must always partner with list-owners that have a great relationship with their subscribers because the stronger the relationship, the stronger the endorsement, and the stronger the endorsement, the more sales you'll make.

If you have a mailing list, you should always work on building a better relationship with your subscribers. Some marketers have such great reputations and relationships with their client base that they can sell almost anything to them.

Some have been known to sell products that were priced several times higher than their competitors, and they made a killing at it. Achieving this level of trust with your subscribers should be one of your main goals, one that will benefit you for years and years to come.

What Is The Size Of The List?

As a rule of thumb, the bigger the better. But that's not always the case. If the subscriber base does not trust, or has little or no relationship with the list owner, doing a Joint Venture with that mailing list will be futile. If you can find a huge targeted list that has a great relationship with the list owner, you may very well be sitting on a gold mine.

How Good Is The Sales Letter (Or Copy)

The sales letter is another very important factor. The higher the conversion rate (or visitor value), the more profits you will be making.

How Recent Are The Buyers On The List?

Have the prospects recently bought products similar to the one you're trying to sell? If so, it's a very good sign. The best prospects are the ones who bought within the last 4-6 weeks. These folks will be the most responsive. But don't mail sooner than 3 weeks apart.

    What's The Buyers' Frequency?

Do the prospects regularly buy products and services similar to yours? Another very good sign. If they have often bought stuff like yours, they'll probably want to buy more.

What Is The "High-Passion Index" Of Your Target Market?

You'll have a lot more luck selling to folks who are really passionate about whatever you are selling. Golfers, for example, have been known to spend small fortunes just to take a stroke or two off of their game.

Has The Sales Letter, Price Of The Product Or Service, Etc. Been Tested?

A tested sales letter, etc. will be a lot more lucrative than one that hasn't been tested at all.

If the price hasn't been tested, you are most likely going to be losing a lot in sales. You should test to determine the price that sells the most.

Is The Endorsee A Well-Known And Trusted Expert?

The more the product or service owner is trusted and considered to be an expert in his or her field, the more the Joint Venture will have the potential to be profitable.

Are The Prospects Rich? Or At Least Well-Off?

This pretty much ties in with the frequency. Most rich people spend a LOT of money to learn as much as they possibly can. They never hesitate to invest in their education.

Joint ventures work best when both parties are selling high quality (and related) products to a list of subscribers who trust your products (or your partner's products). By utilizing the factors mentioned above, you and your partner can make a small fortune with your joint venture project.

Article Title: How Do Affiliate Programs Work?: A Basic Explanation

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

How do affiliate programs work precisely? That is a terrific question and it's really critical to understand the ins and outs before you make the decision to truly invest the time and effort needed to achieve a profitable affiliate marketing business.

Does the name Amazon ring a bell? Amazon delivers one of the oldest, most trusted affiliate applications on the internet. You just need to complete a brief application and within minutes you'll be an authorized Amazon affiliate. You will have to provide them with your Social Security or EIN number for tax purposes.

As an Amazon affiliate you'll be given your own unique affiliate ID and you'll have the ability to begin selling anything and everything little thing shown for sale on the Amazon website.

Before you ever sign up as an affiliate, it's an advantage to own a website or blog that targets a specific niche market place. Once this is done, it's then time to go and find the products and services to promote as an affiliate. The products and services you are marketing should fit nicely with the niche of your blog or website.

You should also make sure that you are only promoting products and services with some good value and worth. If you can promote affiliate products that you have knowledge of and you like then your enthusiasm for that product will be reflected in the content you have on your internet site.

    Promoting the Products?

The moment you become an approved affiliate, most companies offer a marketing section where you access to an assortment of pre-written offers, emails, banners as well as brief video presentations. In a lot of cases you should simply copy and paste your unique "affiliate code" on your own website and inside the marketing materials.

In this way when a potential buyer clicks the banner or responds to the e-mail offer containing your affiliate ID, any sales made will be able to be tracked back to you. The company makes the sale, collects the cash, ships the product and pays you a health commission.

Always check the promotional links and confirm they contain your affiliate ID and they are working well correctly.

    How Do You Get Paid

Many times when people ask, "How to affiliate applications work?" what they really want to know is "How do I get paid for my efforts?" The answer is going to be explained in the affiliate agreement of each business.

In most cases commissions are paid by direct deposit via Paypal or Alertpay either weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly. You also need to check for a refund period in the instances where buyers decide to return the products. If a business provides a 30 day refund period and pays monthly, you might not see your first check until the first payday after the refund period.

Frequently you will find high-priced products only giving you tiny percentages of the sale. As an example, a HD Camera might go for $499 but you only get about an 8% commission for the sale. Now this still equates to about $40 which isn't that bad.

Numerous affiliate companies also offer their affiliates a dashboard where you can monitor how many clicks your advertisements are getting and how much money you've made. Some will also give you conversion rates and other beneficial in-depth data.

It really is important to test different advertisements and offers against one another for effectiveness. Numerous times you will identify a particular banner that may possibly outperform another banner by 2 to 1 or even much more.

So carefully testing click-to-sale conversions on a per offer basis is an effective approach that can drastically boost profitability. If a particular product or service doesn't sell at all after a large quantity of visitors then eliminate that product out of your website and offer another one.

So how do affiliate programs work? Very well in the event you treat your new business like a real business. Plan your work and work your plan. Take consistent action over an extended time period.

Test almost everything and optimize your marketing making use of the tools supplied by your affiliate company. Do these things and you will tremendously put the odds of success in your favor.

Few visitors to Las Vegas realize that tours to the spectacular Grand Canyon are available right from the city. While the sights of Las Vegas itself are awesome, they cannot compete with the natural magnificence of the biggest canyon in the world. If you would like a break from the frantic pace and bright lights, this natural beauty helps to put it all in perspective and is definitely worth visiting.

People from other countries touring America can kill two birds with one stone as both the canyon and Vegas are absolute must-sees for any visitor. Not only that, but tours from this city offer a greater variety of options than from others towns. You can decide type of tour you would prefer, and easily make all the arrangements in-between your various casino visits.

The most popular way to tour is by bus. These air-conditioned, luxury, vehicles offer the chance to experience the surrounding countryside while proceeding to the view sites. This allows you to fully appreciate the contrast between the power of the water which went to create the magnificent canyon, and the arid area through which that river flows.

For those in a hurry, there are helicopter or aircraft trips available as well. These provide a birds-eye view and give a good overall impression, although what is seen can seem a little remote, and perhaps slightly unreal. You might prefer a combination of trip by bus or raft together with an aerial tour to allow you to appreciate this awesome natural wonder more fully.

A raft trip provides the most intimate experience of all, giving an real inside view. These tours are great adventures, and you will fully appreciate the sheer size of the spectacle from the vantage point of the river. You do need to be reasonably fit and more time may be required than for the alternatives. This is a totally different and exciting way of fully appreciating the spectacle.

You can choose whether you would like to tour the West Rim or the South Rim. While the various South Rim departure points only permit you to visit that side, starting from Las Vegas allows you to see whichever rim you prefer. While there may not seem much of a difference, different vantage points can create completely different impressions.

America is a magnificent country and there is wealth of amazing, largely unspoilt, natural, beauty to be seen. This may seem strange to foreign visitors, who often picture the land as being dominated by the wonders of technology. Areas such as the Rockies, Yellowstone Park, the Redwood forests, and the Appalachians are definitely all sights worth seeing.

By offering a number of different tours to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas adds to its versatility as a tourist destination of choice. Going to see this remarkable phenomenon can offer a welcome change of pace from the frenetic activity in this gambling capital of the world. True to its tradition, Las Vegas provides a fantastic menu of tours of all types to suit every taste and demonstrates it has more to offer than many people realize.
