It's never a good time when you need to have a surgical procedure performed, even if it's a minor one. It is important, however, that when faced with the necessity of undergoing a medical procedure to improve your health that you perform your due diligence when selecting a surgery center to visit. For people in the Philadelphia, PA, area tasked with selecting a medical facility for an operation, there are some things that can be done that will ensure you end up in the hands of qualified health care professionals and help you avoid being subjected to extra fees for your medical care.
Look for Accreditation
One of the main things to look for is whether or not the surgery center in Philadelphia, PA, that you are considering has received a Certificate of Accreditation, from an organization such as the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. Surgery centers with AAAHC accreditation have proven, through an independent assessment of their policies and practices against nationally recognized standards and an on-site review from the health care professionals at the AAAHC, that they are dedicated to providing high-quality care while demonstrating a commitment to continually improving the care and services they provide. If the facility you are considering hasn't received accreditation from any verifiable source, feel free to ask a representative of the surgery center about its credentials. There's a chance the facility could be in the process of receiving accreditation. However, if you don't receive a legitimate answer as to why the surgery center is lacking in this area, then you should probably strongly consider other local surgery centers that have shown the commitment to providing the quality health care that you deserve.
Check on Standing of Practicing Physicians at the Center
The Philadelphia, PA, area physicians who practice at the surgery centers you are considering should also be vetted, to a certain degree, to ensure that your are entrusting qualified and responsible medical professionals for your health care. Luckily, there are several online databases that you can browse to find a wealth of information that can be extremely helpful when determining which surgery centers you should consider. Start by looking to make sure the physicians are properly licensed and are in good standing with all state licensing medical agencies. Also, you should strongly consider looking into disciplinary and/or legal actions or criminal charges filed against physicians who operate within the facility.
Verify Insurance Acceptance
With health care costs higher today than ever before, it is imperative to check to see whether the surgery center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that you are considering accepts the insurance plan that you currently have. The last thing you want to do is to elect for your surgery to be completed at a particular facility and be stuck with excessive medical bills. Taking the time to verify what types of insurance a surgery center accepts can save you a lot of headaches – not to mention money. If you are uninsured, you should find out how much the total cost of the procedure you need to have completed, and check to see if there are any financing options available.
Outpatient Medical Care
You would be hard-pressed to find anyone who particularly enjoys hospital stays, even brief ones, so you probably don't want to have your surgical procedure performed at a facility that requires overnight stays. Besides, avoiding hospitalization can save you significant money on your medical bills. Choosing an outpatient surgery center in Philadelphia, PA, will undoubtedly keep you from the inconvenience of packing an overnight bag and being forced to pay extra medical expenses, but it's important to make sure the facility offers outpatient medical care so you are not caught off-guard.

If you are faced with the prospect of undergoing a surgical procedure in the near future, believe it not, you probably can breathe a sigh of relief. First of all, the pain you have been experiencing will soon be alleviated. And, secondly, you've taken care of the toughest tasks associated with the entire surgery process – selecting a surgeon to perform the surgery, and settling on the surgery center where you'll undergo the procedure. Alas, there are still a few tasks that need to be addressed in order to ensure your surgical procedure is a completely successful one, not necessarily in terms of your overall health, but things that can lead to stress during the recovery process.
Continue to Exercise and Maintain a Well-Balanced Diet Leading Up To Your Surgery
For those who maintain a healthy lifestyle, it's important to continue on the same trend leading up to your planned surgery. For those who have not, now is the time to change things up a bit, as it can certainly have an impact in your overall recovery and health.
The starting point for everyone facing surgery should be regular exercise. Depending on your particular condition, you could very well be limited in the amount of physical exercises that you can perform. However, by doing some research regarding your specific condition and planned procedure, you can undoubtedly find some activities that can be done regularly. The important thing to remember is that workouts don't need to be strenuous – in fact, it is recommended to avoid strenuous physical activity before surgery – to have a positive effect, but that some work – like a 15-minute walk – is better than nothing at all.
Proper nutrition is also extremely important. Sticking with a well-balanced diet leading up to surgery can pay dividends during the recovery process, particularly the intake of proteins, which help you heal faster. It is important to remember not to restrict your diet or calorie intake before a surgical procedure, unless your surgeon specifically requires you to do so in the time leading up to your surgery.
Examine Your Finances
The old adage "time is money" can certainly apply to surgical procedures, not just in terms of how costly medical care is today, but also in terms of money that could potentially be lost during recovery time. That's why it is important to look at your finances in regards to several topics to ensure that problems that could have been avoided don't arise while you are trying to recover.
For starters, if you are going to have to miss work, you will want to check to see if you have enough vacation or sick time available to cover the amount of time you will be away from your workplace. Checking with your employer's human resources department likely is the best course of action to obtain an answer. If you are going to miss a substantial amount of time at work, you should also check into whether or not you can file a short-term disability claim, which can help supplement your lost income. And, in the scenario of missing extended time, it's best to make sure that you have set up to have payments made for your most important bills, such as home, car, etc. You also will want to make sure you understand the out-of-pocket expenses that you face for the surgery, if your insurance plan doesn't cover 100 percent of the cost.
Arrange for Help Afterwards
Depending on the type of surgery you are having, the procedure could limit your mobility. If this is a situation you are facing, it's important to think ahead and arrange for necessary help for when you are in recovery. It could be as simple has having a friend pick you up from the surgery center to drive you home, or as complex as needing a relative or private medical care personnel providing extended care for you at your residence. Be sure to talk about this extensively with your surgeon and put a firm plan in place so that you are able to relax and ensure a speedy and stress-free recovery.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is a key to living a long life, and when it comes to good health, there really aren't many secrets. However, residents of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who are hoping to boost their overall health can be mindful of a few things in order to ensure the lifestyle they lead is one that can keep their well-bring prosperous long into the future.
Exercise Regularly
Losing weight isn't the only reason you should exercise. While weight loss can be a great motivator, the real reason to exercise on a regular basis is to simply maintain a healthy lifestyle – and that even applies to people who are slim and live at their ideal weight. Research shows that even a small amount of regular activity can significantly lower the risk of major chronic diseases and conditions, like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and stroke, not to mention that it cuts the risk of premature death. And the best part is you don't have to be a gym rat and pay expensive monthly fees at a local center in order to achieve these results.
Simply walking or jogging on a daily basis around your Milwaukee, WI, neighborhood can be a great way to get regular exercise. If you are a parent with small children, you can take your kids to the park and play a game of tag or catch, and that type of physical activity on a regular basis could also suffice. Joining a gym and performing full-on workouts with weight training, cardio training, and other physical training exercises will certainly pay great dividends as well, but don't think you need to go extreme right out of the gate. If you haven't been exercising regularly, start slowly – like 30 minutes a day of walking/jogging – and work your way up into more of a physical grind.
Eat More Fruits and Vegetables
As the old adage goes, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Residents of Milwaukee who want to maintain a healthy lifestyle need to make sure they eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Five servings of fruits and vegetables a day is what your target should be if you want to lead a healthy lifestyle and have a balanced diet. When your daily intake includes 400 grams of fruits and vegetables each day, research shows you can significantly lower the risk of serious health problems.
A good way to get that amount of fruits and vegetables into your daily diet is to incorporate snacks between breakfast, lunch, and dinner when you can munch on your favorite fruits. You can squeeze in an apple or banana in the morning between breakfast and lunch, and then snack on an orange in the afternoon before you have dinner. Of course, this plan assumes you incorporate a fruit or vegetable with each meal as well – something you should always strive to do.
Don't Smoke and Be Mindful of Alcohol Intake
Tobacco and alcohol are two of the most harmful things people in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and throughout the nation indulge in on a regular basis, and both addictive substances can have harmful effects on your overall health. Smoking is proven to cause cancer and other serious health conditions, and alcohol can lead to a number of issues as well, including liver and heart problems.
If you smoke, the best advice that can be given regarding your overall health is to quit. There are a number of programs and alternatives available today for people addicted to nicotine that can help people to quit smoking. Alcohol, if used, should be consumed in moderation. You should always avoid binge drinking and avoid drinking on a daily basis, if possible.

Selecting a surgery center can be a stressful time for any family or individual, especially if the surgery is complex or will require a long recovery period. The number of considerations and choices can often seem immense, and the pressure of making the right decision when it comes to such an important procedure can be overwhelming. Fortunately, thanks to the Internet and a world that is more interconnected than ever before, there are several reliable ways to learn everything you can about the many options available to you and choose the best surgery center for your operation.
Here are the some of the most important steps to finding the right surgery center for your procedure in Oklahoma City:
Consider the Surgery – If you will be undergoing a surgery that is cosmetic, laparoscopic, or minimally invasive, your procedure is likely considered an outpatient surgery. Outpatient surgeries are operations that require minimal recovery time and don't necessitate an overnight stay at the hospital. If you are having an outpatient surgery, there are several reputable ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) in Oklahoma City that you can choose from to perform your operation. ASCs provide advanced medical treatment options without many of the peripheral accommodations or long-term care facilities that hospitals have, allowing them to perform outpatient surgeries for significantly less money than full hospitals without any loss in quality. On the flip side, if your operation will require intensive care and a long recovery period, you'll want to find a hospital that provides excellent physical therapy and post-surgery care.
Choosing a Surgery Center – Once you've decided on what type of medical center you'll need based on the type of surgery, the next step is to examine the credentials of the hospitals in the area. While the success of an operation is affected by a wide range of factors, it's hard to deny that some hospitals have better success rates than others. In order to choose such a quality hospital or surgical center, ensure that it is accredited either by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) or, in the case of outpatient surgery centers, the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAH). Next, investigate to see whether the hospital is highly rated by professional or consumer groups. Some good places to look for reputable hospital reviews include consummerreports.org, healthgrades.com, and leapfroggroup.org. If the reviews check out, look to see if the hospital has experience and a history of success with the type of surgery you need. Many times, this information can be found in public records, and many healthcare providers will also offer this kind of information to members. The final step in your research is to ensure that the medical center in question is covered by your healthcare network, which can save you lots of headaches and a lot of money down the line.
Choosing a Surgeon – The final and perhaps most important consideration is to select the surgeon who will actually be performing the operation. Since your operation is not an emergency surgery, you'll likely have the opportunity to determine, or at least have a significant say in, who your surgeon will be. When choosing a surgeon, first make sure that he or she is board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Any surgeon who is board certified has completed years of residency training and has passed a rigorous examination to achieve his or her certification.
Next, look to see if the surgeon is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, or FACS. This organization is made up of board-certified surgeons who have passed through additional evaluations of both competence and ethics, and are absolutely committed to putting their patients first. Finally, ask the hospital where your surgeon works how frequently he or she performs the surgery that you or a loved one will be undergoing. Typically, surgeons who have performed more total procedures and who have performed one or more recently (within the last three weeks) are more likely to have their skills sharp and have positive results.
By taking all of these considerations into account, you should be able to assemble a list of possible medical centers and whittle them down until you find the right choice. We hope that these tips will help you find just the surgery center you or a loved one needs in Oklahoma City.

Article Title: Finding the Right Pediatric Surgery Center in Phoenix or Scottsdale, Arizona

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
Choosing the right surgical center can be a daunting decision, especially if the patient is your child. Pediatric surgery requires a specialized set of skills, equipment, and facilities, so there are a number of factors to consider when narrowing down the field to determine which medical facility will best suit needs of your loved one.
Take these considerations into account when choosing a pediatric surgery center in Phoenix or Scottsdale:
Accreditation – Make sure that the surgery center in question is properly accredited, including an accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) for hospitals or the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAH) for outpatient surgical centers. This accreditation is an excellent sign that the medical center in question is a reputable organization that puts the well being of its patients above all else.
Board certified pediatric surgeons – Find a hospital that has one or more pediatric surgeons that are experienced in treating or operating on your child's condition. A pediatric surgeon certified by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) is a doctor that has undergone years of schooling, residency requirements, and extensive training in pediatric care. What's more, in order to maintain this board certification, ABP-certified surgeons undergo continuing education so that they can stay abreast of the latest developments in pediatric medicine and patient safety, and are periodically submitted to both oral and written exams to test their competency.
Child anesthesiologists – Similarly, ensure that the hospital where you plan to have the child in question's procedure has a board certified pediatric anesthesiologists. Specialized knowledge of how to administer anesthesia to a child is a must for any major procedure, if for nothing else than the volume of anesthesia appropriate for adults could be seriously harmful to a child. Granted, no anesthesiologist would ever use the same volume of anesthesia on a child, but getting just the right amount of anesthesia to keep a patient sedated and under no pain is often a careful balancing game best left to accredited child anesthesiologists. Much like pediatric surgeons, first-rate child anesthesiologists will be certified by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), but they should also have a second certification with the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
Family centered care – It's important especially in pediatric medicine for hospitals to understand that the family is the child's main source of support. Good pediatric hospitals encourage family-centered care, which means that parents and other family members are encouraged to stay with the child and take an active part in the child's recovery. Love and support from family members is especially important during the recovery period after a surgery, and good pediatric hospitals understand this. Look for hospitals that not only preach family care, but that offer support services and private accommodations for families to stay with and help care for their children.
Trauma capabilities – Hospitals are rated by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) from Trauma Level I (comprehensive care) to Level III (limited care) providers. In order to ensure the best results for your child's surgery, ensure that the hospital you are using is certified as a Level I or Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. Even if you're child's surgery is for a relatively common condition, complications can arise or new facts may come to light, so having a hospital with comprehensive pediatric trauma facilities and surgical capabilities is always a good idea. Article Title: Is a Master's Degree in Business Administration Right For You?

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
The Master of Business Administration, or MBA, is a post-graduate degree that provides an education in foundational business principles, including but not limited to accounting, marketing, sales, and human resources management. The MBA emerged as a distinct field of study in the late 19th century in response to a wider utilization of "scientific" business management, an approach that sought to improve economic efficiency by applying theories of science to industrial manufacturing. By and large, the MBA is an American invention. Dartmouth College is the first institution of higher learning in the world to have offered it, followed by Harvard which opened its doors to graduate-level business students in 1908. Today, the MBA is available at universities worldwide and is considered to be one of the most prestigious degrees one can have. It is a professional degree designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the field of business.
Your decision to pursue an MBA should be based on a careful assessment of your long-term professional goals, as well as the cost and time commitment involved. Although an MBA is not a prerequisite for success in the business world, necessarily, obtaining an MBA can put you on the fast-track to career advancement. That said, it is worth bearing in my mind that many companies do require applicants to possess an MBA for many executive-level and senior management positions. It will be far easier for you to qualify for these and other leadership roles if you have an advanced degree in business administration.
Having an MBA can expand your employment options and, in turn, make it possible for you to earn more money. Business school graduates consistently demonstrate a higher earning potential than those who lack the MBA degree. In a survey conducted in 2011 by the Graduate Management Admission Council, the organization that administers the GMAT (see below), the median starting salary of business school graduates was $94,542.
As a post-graduate degree, the MBA can be pursued immediately following your undergraduate education or after you have gained some real-world business experience. (The average age of the students in Harvard Business School's Class of 2015 is 27.) The vast majority of MBA programs in the United States require applicants to take the GMAT, which is short for Graduate Management Admission Test. The GMAT assesses analytical reasoning, writing, quantitative, verbal, and English-comprehension skills, and is a key factor in the admission decision-making process followed by most schools that offer the MBA degree.
The cost of obtaining an MBA differs significantly from institution to institution, although it is common for MBA student at private schools to incur debt in the $100,000 to $200,000 range. On top of tuition, there are the "peripheral" costs of books, food, housing, and a laptop to consider. Leaving the world of work to pursue an MBA full-time is a major cost to consider as well, since you will have to forego at least two years of income. Fortunately, there are ways to get an MBA without spending a fortune, such as enrolling in a part-time MBA program, having your tuition subsidized in whole or in part your employer, or qualifying for a scholarship. Scholarships for MBA students are provided in regard to gender, ethnicity, field of specialization, undergraduate alma mater, and other criteria. The only way to know if you qualify for a scholarship to defray the cost of attending business school is to diligently research your options and apply for the scholarships that interest you.
Hopefully, this information will help you decide whether a master's degree in business administration is right for you.

In 2013, USA Today crowned Clearwater Beach the "Best Beach Town in Florida." Four million people visit every year, easily making it one of the top tourist destinations along Florida's idyllic Gulf Coast. But, Clearwater is more than just sun, sand, and surf. It is a thriving community of more than one hundred thousand residents as well as a key driver of the Tampa Bay Area's economy. In Clearwater and the surrounding environs, you will find and endless supply of things to see and do. Tampa to the east and St. Petersburg to the south are highly touted tourists destinations in their own right, and don't forget that the world-famous Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando is just a mere 95 miles away!
The City of Clearwater gets its name not from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, but from the natural springs found in the area by Native Americans and used by them since time immemorial. Their name for the area was "Pocotopaug," which translates literally into "Clear Water." White settlers arrived in the 1830s, including a French doctor named Conte Odet Philippe who planted the area's first citrus trees. Only gradually did "Clear Water" become popular as a destination for tourists, aided in part by Florida's first real estate boom of the 1920s. After WWII, many of the soldiers who had trained at military facilities in the area returned, starting families. In 1947, the Philadelphia Phillies undertook spring training practices in Clearwater and have been a fixture of the community ever since. The population explosion Clearwater witnessed over the ensuing decades mirrored that of Florida as a whole. According to the 2010 US Census, nearly 108,000 people now call Clearwater home.
Visitors to Clearwater have gobs of interesting activities at their disposal. There is Bright House Network Field, spring training home of the Phillies; Coachman Park, an open-air waterfront venue that plays hosts to concerts, festivals, and exhibitions throughout the year; Capitol Theater, one of the oldest operating theaters in Florida; the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home to Winter, the famous bottlenose dolphin with a prosthetic tail; Pier 60, which provides the ideal vantage point for watching beautiful sunsets; Ruth Eckerd Hall, a 73,000-square-foot performing arts venue; Westfield Countryside Mall, which has one of the few ice rinks in Florida; and the Clearwater Farmer's Market, located on the 500 and 600 blocks of Cleveland Street and open every Wednesday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
The fishing in and around Clearwater is also particularly good. The Tampa Bay Area, in general, has a reputation for being one of the best fishing locales in America, with opportunities suitable for anglers of every level of skill. Budget permitting, you can charter one of the many deep-sea fishing vessels that operate out of Clearwater. Prices can be steep but the memories you make will be positively unforgettable. Availability varies depending on the time of year, so be sure to call around, get prices, and lock in a reservation far in advance of your visit. Alternatively, inshore fishing is a more budget-friendly option that you might want to consider. Many places sell (and rent) poles, if you do not have one of your own. Tackle, bait, fishing line, hats, sunscreen, drinks, snacks – these and other fishing essentials are available at any local bait and tackle shop. You will also need a Florida fishing license, even if you'll just be fishing off a bridge or from the shore. Check with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to see what type of license you (and any other members of your group) will require.

Article Title: Ambulatory Surgery Centers: Transforming the Delivery of Medical Care

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
The rise in popularity of ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) in recent years is one of the major success stories of the American healthcare industry. Thirty years ago, the vast majority of medical procedures were performed inside hospitals. Today, "outpatient" procedures are more or less the norm. ASCs – which are sometimes called surgicenters – have become the predominant model through which healthcare is delivered. For medical procedures that do not require an overnight hospital stay, ASCs as well as hospital outpatient departments (HOPDs) represent a more efficient, cost-effective method for delivering care.
The impetus behind the growth of ASCs was the recognition by doctors that hospital settings were impeding their ability to provide the best care possible to their patients. Due to factors such as limited operating room availability, aging equipment, and byzantine scheduling procedures, doctors were finding themselves spending less time on actual patient care and more time navigating the hospital bureaucracy. In their minds, there had to be a better way. The first ambulatory surgery center in America opened in 1970 and the rest, as they say, is history. Outpatient surgical procedures now outnumber inpatient procedures by a factor of two to one.
It is important to bear in mind that ambulatory surgery centers do not function as a substitute for hospitals; they are not intended to. ASCs treat patients who have already consulted with a primary healthcare provider and chosen surgery as the appropriate course of action. They are not health clinics, urgent care centers, or doctors' offices. The focus of ambulatory surgery centers is on providing same-day surgical care, as well as select corollary services such as pain management and diagnostic screenings. Essentially, ambulatory surgery centers occupy the middle ground of the American health care ecosystem. The procedures that they conduct are more advanced than what you would find in a typical doctor's office, but not so intensive as to necessitate an overnight or prolonged stay in a hospital. You can begin to see how, through specialization, ambulatory surgery centers are able to keep costs down and devote more of their energies to providing high-quality patient care.
There is no denying that ambulatory surgery centers remove many of the inefficiencies associated with traditional, brick-and-mortar hospitals. One example is the way in which ASCs have saved billions of dollars of Medicare expenditures over the course of the last 30-odd years. According to the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association, Medicare – which is the taxpayer-funded health insurance program for Americans 65 and old and younger people with disabilities – saves approximately $2.5 billion every year when same-day surgical procedures are performed at ambulatory surgery centers as opposed to hospitals. Those who rely on Medicare can have 3,500 different procedures performed at ASCs, at least those that have chosen to accept Medicare reimbursements and meet the program's certification criteria.
High levels of patient satisfaction with the services provided by ASCs are indicative of how well this model of medical care delivery is working. A study conducted by the Office of Inspector General of the US Department of Health and Human Services revealed that a whopping 98 percent of Medicare patients who had visited an ambulatory surgery center for a procedure were satisfied with their experience. Other studies have shown time and again that ambulatory surgery centers are capable of providing care at a level equal to or better than the care provided by hospitals. It is often said that patient satisfaction is a hallmark of the ASC industry. Plus, at time a when hospital consolidation is all the rage, most ambulatory surgery centers are small, community-based businesses with rarely more than 20 employees.

Research shows that people who take active measures to understand their medical treatment options enjoy better health outcomes. When it comes to undergoing surgery, proactive self-education will go a long way toward ensuring that you get the most out of the procedure. Do not let the abundance of information that's out there overwhelm or frighten you. With patience and a bit of determination, you can find timely, valuable information on many topics relevant to your medical condition and the available treatment options. And remember: the most important participant on your healthcare team is you. You bear much of the responsibility for asking questions, weighing alternatives, and choosing a course of action. Only through active information gathering will you be in a position to make well-informed decisions regarding the nature of your care.
Because no surgery is risk free, it is vitally important to confer with your doctor about the specific benefits and drawbacks of a given surgical procedure. If you are at a loss for knowing the right questions to ask, don't worry. Surgery is a rare occurrence in the lives of most people and uncertainty just happens to go with the territory. If necessary, write down a list of questions on a piece of paper and bring them with you the next time you visit your doctor. Questions you will probably want to know the answers to include: Why do I need this particular operation? What are the benefits? What are the risks? What will happen if I decline to undergo the surgery? Who will perform the operation? Where will it take place? Will I need anesthesia? How many times have you performed this type of operation before? How long will it take me to recover? What are the alternatives?
Many patients weighing the pros and cons of elective surgery find getting a second opinion from another doctor to be invaluable. Although it is entirely up to you to pursue a second opinion, if you are not entirely comfortable with the first doctor for some reason, or have lingering doubts as to the necessity of a proposed surgical procedure, a second opinion can put your options into considerably sharper focus. Second opinions are quite common in the field of medicine, so don't feel as if you are doing something wrong or out of the ordinary by seeking the advice of another doctor. Getting a second opinion that confirms your first doctor's diagnosis and surgical recommendation can be a major source of relief. On the other hand, a second doctor may be able to recommend a less-invasive, non-surgical approach that you might feel more comfortable with. Ask questions similar to those listed above and be sure to contact your health insurance provider to see if second opinions for your type of medical condition are covered.
In 2012, Reader's Digest published an article titled "50 Secrets Your Surgeon Won't Tell You." It is worth reading particularly if you harbor any uncertainties about how, exactly, a potential surgical procedure will be handled. At the very least, the kernels of wisdom listed in this article suggest ways in which you can assert more control over your own care. Tips include asking your doctor about his or her complication rate; checking to see if your doctor is board-certified in his or her practice specialty; requesting the opportunity to speak to former patients; requesting information regarding who will care for you post-operatively; bringing a family member to all pre-operative appointments; and seriously inquiring about non-surgical options. Point is, when it comes to patient education, it is virtually impossible to have too much information.

Article Title: Preventing and Treating Chronic Neck and Back Pain

Chronic neck and back pain are common issues that people of all demographics face. In fact, research has shown that one in ten visits to a primary care physician involve complaints of lower back or spinal pain. While some discomfort in your neck and back may be unavoidable depending on your age and level of fitness, there are definite steps that you can take to prevent and mitigate the effects of this pain.
First, try to change up certain aspects of your daily routine. If you spend most of your day at an office sitting at a desk, make sure to take brief breaks to stand or walk around every hour or so. Take the opportunity to stretch during these breaks, gently moving your lower back in all directions and stretching your neck to the sides and front. When you get back to your desk, try to maintain good posture, with your neck aligned with and directly above your hips, and make sure that your monitor is at eye level, which will minimize the amount of strain you put on your neck.
Another great way to reduce daily back and neck pain is to begin a regular fitness routine. As always, you should consult a physician before beginning a new exercise program, and take care to perform every exercise with proper form. In fact, proper technique, while necessary in any strength conditioning exercise, is particularly critical for lower back exercises. Learning to do back extensions, deadlifts, and other lower back exercises properly at moderate amounts of weight and high repetitions can dramatically strengthen your lumbar region, while doing them incorrectly can worsen your pain or lead to serious injury. Over time, repeated back exercises completed with proper form may even help you to eliminate your pain entirely.
Once you get home, there are another series of simple precautions that you can take to prevent neck or back aggravation. Avoid performing chores that involve lifting or moving heavy objects, especially if your back and neck are already in pain. Also, sleeping in the right position can also help to alleviate back pain. Sleeping on your stomach or sides causes your spine to curve and can put added pressure on your spine. In order to get proper relaxation and let your lower back unwind, sleep on your back with a small pillow tucked under your knees. This will help to straighten your spine, allowing the muscles in your back to deactivate and get the rest they need.
If your current levels of pain are too severe and you need treatment, see a licensed medical professional as soon as you can. While most muscular pains can be treated with non-prescription painkillers like aspirin or ibuprofen, if the level of pain becomes too extreme then more advanced treatments may be necessary. However, unless your back pain is caused by a serious injury like a slipped disk in your spine, many new studies advocate that patients should avoid more extreme treatments like narcotic painkillers and surgery. Instead, visits to registered physical therapist are often of great benefit, and these experienced medical practitioners can help put you on the right track to permanent recovery. Another suggested solution to severe back and neck pain is acupuncture, which has been shown to be highly effective at eliminating short-term pain. Either or both of these options combined with a light and properly executed exercise routine are often the best solutions to permanently resolving your back and neck pain.

When an individual receives a spinal stenosis diagnosis, surgery is rarely necessary. Thankfully, there are more conservative treatment options immediately available to help relieve painful symptoms. Pain medicines and epidural steroid injections can provide fast relief for back and neck pain, but that relief will only last for a short period of time – from a few hours (oral medication) to a few months (injections). A frustrating part of treatment is that in order to gain the long-term relief most people seek, they must commit to regular therapies and be prepared for a long road to recovery that could even include a surgical procedure. However, by staying consistent and persistent with treatment, an individual suffering from spinal stenosis can drastically reduce their painful symptoms and may even improve their overall health and wellness.
Lifestyle Changes
The most immediate changes one can make to relieve their symptoms begin with changing their lifestyle, daily routines, and personal choices. Most spinal conditions are the result of specific risk factors that individuals bring upon themselves every day. For instance, carrying extra weight can put increased pressure on the spine, causing vertebrae to shift and discs to tear. By exercising and losing weight, the muscles in the core can gain strength and the weight load on the spine is reduced, which helps relieve damaging pressure on the spinal anatomy. Though exercise can be painful for those suffering from spinal stenosis, low-impact exercises like swimming and walking may not irritate the spine and can help with the weight loss process. Improving daily posture may help as well. For those who work at a desk all day there are lumbar supports for office chairs that can help take the pressure off their lower back throughout the day. Also, reducing the amount of alcohol or nicotine an individual ingests can slow down the rate at which their discs degenerate and will help improve their overall health.
Conservative Treatment Options
In addition to the lifestyle changes an individual with spinal stenosis can make, there are a number of nonsurgical treatment options available that will temporarily relieve pain and may even decrease symptoms in the long-term as well. Doctors may suggest that patients start daily treatments, like:
• Beginning an over-the-counter medication routine using acetaminophen or ibuprofen
• Restricting activity or requiring rest
• Using hot and cold packs on a daily basis
• Wearing a back or neck brace
• Receiving epidural steroid injections
• Receiving deep tissue massages
• Taking prescription medicines like muscle relaxers or pain killers
Physical therapy is another common treatment option where patients learn daily stretches to help relieve the pressure they put on their spine. There are also alternative treatment options like chiropractic care or acupuncture, which many patients have sought to relieve their spinal stenosis symptoms.
Minimally Invasive Surgical Procedures
Though lifestyle changes and conservative treatment options can improve symptoms, sometimes they just aren't enough to eliminate the chronic pain the stems from spinal stenosis. If this is the case, a patient may consider an endoscopic procedure to relieve pain caused by spinal stenosis. These minimally invasive procedures provide the benefit of a short recovery period, and they have high success rates, which means they may dramatically improve the symptoms a patient faces on a day to day basis. Some common surgical procedures that can be performed through an endoscope and can help relieve spinal stenosis symptoms include:
• Laminotomy – A laminotomy is the partial removal of a lamina, which is the part of a vertebra that surrounds the spinal cord. This procedure opens up space in the spinal canal, and it also creates a window into the spinal canal through which surgeons can remove scar tissue, bone spurs, or disc material that may be constricting nerves in the spinal canal.
• Foraminotomy – A foraminotomy can be performed either independently or through a laminotomy. In a foraminotomy, bone and tissue are removed from a foramina to open the space through which nerve roots leave the spinal canal, giving the nerve more room and relieving the pressure that may be causing chronic pain.
• Endoscopic discectomy – In a discectomy, the surgeon enters the spinal canal through a laminotomy to remove parts of a herniated or bulging disc that may be constricting the spinal canal.
These minimally invasive surgeries are outpatient procedures that reduce the amount of recovery time required of a patient as compared to traditional open-back surgery. Only a physician can tell whether your spinal stenosis condition can be treated by surgical procedures, and usually a surgical procedure is seen as a last resort treatment option.

Having exceptionally straight hair is the envy of many that is why hair straightening products and services are widely popular. Today, even those who have the kinkiest hair can wear pin straight locks. However, the downside to this is that the chemicals and tools used can be harsh to the hair in the long run which can even result hair loss. That is why I will be sharing to you some tips on how to straighten your hair naturally, and how you can maintain this.
Egg and Olive oil
This might sound like the makings of a healthy breakfast, but this is also considered to be trusted ingredients for straight hair. When used individually these two can provide a slew of benefits to the hair, but when used together you get the synergistic effect. The protein content in eggs make the hair stronger and it enhances the hair straightening action of olive oil.
What you need to do is to beat two eggs then add a tablespoon of olive oil. Apply this thoroughly over your hair and leave it on for 45 minutes. You can also wrap your head with foil for a warmer temperature which allows better absorption of all the good stuff. Wash your hair afterwards with a mild shampoo. The results may not be noticeable right away, it may even take weeks to months. But doing this at least 2-3 times in a week will give you the natural straight that you want.
Coconut Milk and Lemon
The two may seem like an unlikely pair, but some people swear by it for its natural hair straightening action. Some use milk, but for better results it is best to use a freshly extracted coconut milk. Store-bought coconut milk is not advised because it may already contain preservatives which could affect the results.
After squeezing off the coconut milk from the pulp make sure that you only gather the thick part, or its cream. Squeeze in half a cup of lemon juice, mix the two and then place it in the refrigerator. The mixture will be ready for use when it already turns into cream. Rub the cream all over your hair, cover it with a towel or shower cap and leave it on for a few minutes. Wash your hair thoroughly afterwards with a mild shampoo. You can do this three times a week, and in a matter of weeks to months you will notice your hair not only becoming straighter but softer and stronger as well. You will also be treated with an extra added natural shine!
Castor oil
A simple and inexpensive way to straighten your hair is to apply castor oil daily. Thanks to the omega-9 fatty acid content castor oil nourishes the hair and repairs it from chemical damage. It keeps the strands strong, supple and straighter by simply applying the oil all over the hair after bathing. You can use a blow dryer so that it absorbs better or wrap a towel over your hair for a few minutes to ensure that moisture is sealed in.
Soybean oil
Soybean oil is another kind of oil, which earned props for its hair straightening benefits. It starts by conditioning your hair keeping it hydrated and moisturized. This action creates a natural stretch to the hair strands making it straighter, longer and healthier. You can also mix soybean oil with castor oil for better result.
Milk and Honey
We all know the range of benefits these two possess, but when used on the hair a milk and honey mixture can nourish the hair straight. The amount of milk would depend on the length of hair you have, but a cup of milk would do for medium length hair. To this you add in honey until it creates a pasty consistency. You can even add a banana to make it thicker, and it also provides a volumizing, moisturizing and strengthening action. Apply the mixture all over your hair and leave it on for an hour or even longer depending on how long it takes for it to dry. Make sure to wash a mild shampoo when washing it off.
Strawberries, Milk and Honey
A sweet and luscious way to straighten your locks is to use mashed strawberries mixed with a drop of honey and a cup of milk. Apply this over your head, and then while waiting you can use any leftovers, add some ice and blend it into a yummy fruit shake! It is best to leave it in for two hours for maximum absorption. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and then use a wide tooth comb to groom it.
These simple measures may take some time to take effect, but you can be sure that the outcome will be effective and impressive. To maintain your straight and healthy hair it would be good to always do your final hair rinse with cold water. Allow your hair to hang loose as you let it dry, and try to skip the ties, bands or scrunchies. A regular conditioner will also help in keeping it soft, healthy, straight and shiny.
You don't have to sacrifice the health of your hair and risk the chances of hair loss with all your hair straightening sessions. Scour through your kitchen and have the patience to try out these simple hair straightening solutions.

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
With the last big major summer holiday around the corner, now's the time to get that Grand Canyon helicopter tour picked out and booked.
Departures
Indeed, Labor Day, which is on Monday, Sept. 2, will be for most of us a three-day weekend and one of the last times to do the canyon as part of summer vacation. As such, tours will be departing as regularly scheduled from Las Vegas, NV, and Tusayan, AZ, gateway to the South Rim of the National Park.
Las Vegas helicopters will be flying on the hour to points above, on top and at the bottom of the West Rim. There are no Vegas helicopters to the South Rim because it's out of range.
All Vegas flights follow pretty much the same flight plan, going over Lake Mead and Hoover Dam before entering Grand Canyon airspace and going over the West Rim.
From Vegas
The Vegas aerial flight is great for travelers who don't have all day to spend on sightseeing. For those who do have additional time, my recommendation is to consider a landing tour.
Landing tours, by the way, are only available from Vegas and come with a number of options including picnics at the bottom, boat rides and full-access passes to the Grand Canyon Skywalk.
Unlike Vegas flights, South Rim tours are not allowed below the rim per National Park Service rules and regulations. Thus you have a choice between 30-minute and 50-minute flights. The shorter one goes form South Rim to North Rim and back, while the longer one does the same thing except it includes everything in the Park up to it's eastern border.
South Rim
Here I recommend the 50-minute tour. The reason why is because you'll see nearly the entire Park in less than an hour. Further, these tours utilize the EcoStar 130, which is the most elite chopper plying the skies today. These aircraft are superior due to a number of features that include stadium-style seats, a huge wraparound windshield and a modern tail-rotor that cuts noise down to a whisper.
I mentioned earlier that Labor Day is going to be a busy holiday. As such, I advise readers to consider booking their helicopter trips as soon as they find the one they want. Looked at another way, try to purchase your seats at least a week prior to your desired departure date and time. Do this and you'll be assured of getting on-board.
In addition to advance reservations, I also recommend you consider booking your flight on the Internet. Personally, I stay away from brand-name websites and stick with tour suppliers (the folks that actual own and operate the helicopters). Turns out that it's on their websites where you'll find the best offers, promotions and specials. Last word here is to make sure you complete you order on the Web so you get that fantastic Internet discount.
Conclusion
I hope you found this article on Labor Day holiday helicopter tours helpful. One key point to remember is to book your trip ahead of time as this time of the year can get busy. Another is to make sure you book it online with a tour supplier. Lastly, consider upgrading. I know it costs more but based on my experience, the extra cost is well worth it. Thus if you are in Vegas, try to get a landing package. If you are at South Rim, book yourself a 50-minute flight.

Smooth-water float tours at the Grand Canyon are fun, one-day affairs and they're perfect for families. Active seniors and kids 4 and up can participate because the route doesn't include any whitewater rapids. And besides being tremendously fun, Grand Canyon rafting is very educational. Plus, it's a great way to have a unique canyon experience – from the bottom up!
A Few Quick Facts
Because there aren't any rapids, float tours are a serene, leisurely way to see the true majesty of this Natural Wonder of the World. You'll be transported to the base of Glen Canyon Dam by bus (the standard tour) or plane (the deluxe version). The dam is over 700 feet high and more than twice that wide. It's an impressive place to start the river segment of your tour.
The river portion of South Rim Grand Canyon rafting tours is a little over 15 miles long. Along the way you'll see the beautiful sandstone walls of the canyon and plenty of interesting rock formations. You'll also probably spot some interesting wildlife. The canyon is the home of hundreds of species of plants and animals, including reptiles, mammals, birds and fish. California condors (an endangered species) live here, so you might get some very special photo opportunities!
Speaking of the canyon's sandstone walls, the rock is reddish in color and fairly hard. Photos of the canyon are always amazing, but it's even more impressive when you see the colorful layers of the walls in person.
About halfway through the float tour, a sandy beach is used as a pullout spot. You can rest for a while on this quiet beach, explore the nearby area or cool off with a quick dip in the Colorado River (and, if you're traveling with kids, swimming can help burn off some of their excess energy so they're able to absorb everything they'll see and hear later). Your river guide will take you on a short walk to see some ancient Native American rock drawings.
This peaceful beach is also where you'll enjoy the lunch that comes with your tour. It's the perfect time and place to ask questions, chat with the other folks on your tour, and rest up and get ready for the second half.
Your river voyage ends at historic Lee's Ferry. After disembarking from your pontoon raft, you'll board a luxury motor coach for a drive past the Navajo Indian Reservation and the spectacular Painted Desert. This remarkable place has a very appropriate name – you'll see rocks in almost every color imaginable (the colors are caused by different minerals). It's also where you'll find the Petrified Forest National Park.
Summing Up
Smooth-water Grand Canyon rafting tours are serene and relaxing. The water is calm and tranquil, and the slower pace lets you see the canyon in a way you just can't if you're speeding by during a whitewater rafting trip. South Rim float tours give you a great opportunity to truly see the canyon and everything living there up close and personal. They're fun and educational for the entire family.

Article Title: Fee Web Hosting Directory Vs. Paid Directories

It is not easy to determine whether to go with free or paid web hosting companies. It boils down to what your needs are and how much you expect them to grow within a certain period of time. There are certain obvious benefits that come with a free web hosting directory and also a few setbacks. Let's get into it and look at the merits of free FTP.
Most noteworthy about the benefits of free hosting is that it does not lay any financial burden on the client. The free hosting is a great choice for personal websites and small business websites that are looking to make a name on the Internet. The providers provide fertile ground for Internet startups that have yet to start selling to online clients.
Another benefit is that free asp.net web hosting is often available and it is a great tool for upcoming programmers to sharpen their skills. Common programming languages including: ASP, CGI/Perl, PHP, JSP, and ColdFusion are often supported by providers with varying levels of support. A good website that provides a free hosting directory such as Freehosting1.net allows access to these languages and helps you to take advantage of the features of companies; one often needs to pay a small fee to utilize premium features.
Jumping into paid directories, you can easily remove any type of advertising from the website as long as you don't want it. You can also benefit from having your own domain name instead of having your website reside in a sub-domain. Needless to say that search engine visibility is enhanced by having a distinct domain to represent your company.
The providers have round-the-clock support. Highly customizable control panels are usually provided by paid web hosts. With the control panels you can view important web statistics, protect certain parts of the website with passwords, and create web-based email accounts. It goes without saying that you can get free ftp with unlimited bandwidth from a majority of web hosts.
One minor setback about using a web host from a free web hosting directory is that you are not allowed to specify the advertisements that will appear on your website. Also, freely hosted websites are included in sub-domains which makes them rank poorly in search engines. Support is not available round the clock with free web hosts and this makes it difficult to deal with problems as they occur.
It comes with a major disadvantage. There is a varying amount of financial investment needed in order to secure the services of hosting company. Depending on the functionality that you want to incorporate into your website, you have to pay additional sums of money to upgrade the package. Many fully-featured packages can set you back a considerable amount of money. So for these reasons and more, free web hosting directories are more often than not a better method of having a place to put your website rather than paid directories.

Dapoxine is a prescription drug that is used to treat a medical problem in men called premature ejaculation. This medication offers a safe and effective way to treat this problem so that no one even has to know you had it. This is an extremely delicate issue, and many men are so embarrassed about the problem that they have a hard time talking to their doctor about treatment options. If you would like to know more about this medication, you have come to the right place! Below you will find out what Dapoxine is used for, why it is effective, and if the side effects are worth the benefits of taking it.
What is premature ejaculation? It is an extremely embarrassing condition that several men suffer from. Anyone who is sexually active understands the process of having sex and knows what it means when a man ejaculates. Normally, men can last long enough to satisfy their partner and prolong the experience so both parties have time to enjoy themselves. When a man suffers from premature ejaculation, it means they ejaculate extremely quickly within a very brief amount of time, sometimes as short as less than a minute. This leaves their partner unsatisfied and themselves thoroughly embarrassed, and it is something that a man cannot help or fix on his own.
Dapoxine can help men treat this embarrassing condition in a subtle way. There are several medications that claim to help with this problem, but Dapoxine has been proven to be one of the most effective medications for premature ejaculation. This medicine works because it delays the ejaculation process which means guys can last anywhere for a half-hour to ninety minutes in bed rather than one or two minutes. This helps because it prolongs the experience and pleasure for themselves and their partner and also reduces the anxiety that comes along with the problem. If a man is worried about how he is going to perform that leads to a lot of stress and anxiety, and all of that can be reduced by simply taking Dapoxine.
Once you have been diagnosed with an erectile dysfunction by your doctor you will be prescribed Dapoxine. It is important to take this prescription drug exactly how the instructions tell you to take it. Dapoxine is generally taken once a day, and it is not recommended to exceed this dose for any reason. Depending on the severity of your problem you will be prescribed a certain dosage that you must take. If you do not have insurance, you will have to pay for the medication out of pocket. The cost will vary depending on where you are buying it but it is most commonly found as follows: 50 tabs- 30mg/tab Euro 40.
All prescription drugs have side effects that could occur from consumption of the medication, but everyone experiences them differently. Some of the most common side effects a person may experience include but are not limited to: nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, and headaches. You should not take this medication along with other drugs and should tell you doctor about any other medications you are taking before hand. Do not take this prescription medication if you have had any history of heart attack, high blood pressure, heart disease, low blood pressure, vision problems, stroke, or liver and kidney disease. It is highly uncommon to experience negative effects from this medication and Dapoxine has a very high success rate among men who have taken this drug.

Finasteride is a generic name for a medication called Propecia, and is classified as a five alpha-reductase inhibitor. This drug is also used to treat other diseases or problems such as prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It is not uncommon for a medication to have several different uses. However, it is perfectly safe to take even if you do not have prostate cancer or BPH. Women should never take this medication as it has not tested well in women and any women who is pregnant should not handle this drug because it can lead to abnormalities in male babies sexual organs.
This medication is prescribed by your doctor, and most people have insurance that covers the cost. If you have to pay out of pocket for Finasteride, there are several different prices that it may cost. How much you will spend on Finasteride depends on where you are when you are purchasing it but is most commonly found as follows: 100 tabs- 1mg/tab Euro 40.
The way that this medication works is confusing to understand when explain, but basically, it works because of its ability to inhibit type II 5 alpha reductase. Dihydrotestosterone shrinks the hair follicle and is what causes hair loss. Dihydrotestosterone is converted from testosterone and 5-alpha-reductace is responsible for converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone. Therefore, by inhibiting alpha-reductase you are ensuring that it is not converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone. When taken daily Finasteride can lower DHT levels as much as sixty percent.
All prescription medications come with the risk of certain side effects and like any other medicine, Finasteride has its possible side effects. These include but are not limited to: a lessened desire for sex, decreased amount of semen, and difficulty getting an erection. The sexual nature of the side effects can worry men and cause them hesitation when deciding to take it. However, side effects have been reported in only two percent of men who have taken Finasteride and as soon as the men stopped taking Finasteride these problems went away.
Finasteride works best for hair loss on top of the head and has not been proven to reverse hair loss in the front areas of the skull. It only works to restore hair on the crown of the head, and many other medications work in this same way. The only proven successful way to restore hair in the front of the head is by hair transplant surgery.
It is important for a person to understand that Finasteride is a treatment for hair loss and in no way promises to be a cure. Once prescribed this medication you will have to continue taking it daily for it to be effective in reversing the signs of hair loss. It only works for mild to moderate hair loss and the effect will reverse within six months once you have stopped taking the product. This product will not work for you if you begin taking it after you have gone completely bald. However, if Finasteride is started after the first sign of hair loss it has an eighty percent success rate among men. If you have started to see signs of balding on the top of your head, you may want to talk with your doctor about Finasteride today!

If someone was to mention the drug GW1516 to you, you probably would have no idea what it was that they were talking about. The other names it is known by are GW-501516, GW-1516, or GW for short. The demand for this product has increased a lot over the past few years. However, many people are unsure exactly what this medication is or what it does. Below you will find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about GW1516. Once you have finished reading the information below you will be educated enough to make a choice, whether this product would be right for you.
GW1516 has several positive effects on the body, and researchers are excited about how well this product has tested among consumers. Gw is classified as a peroxisome proliferator activated receptor modulator or PPARM for short and affects the body's peroxisome proliferator receptor (PPR). PPAR's affect numerous biological processes in a person's body and this drug offers a wide variety of effects such as cell energy metabolism, fatty acid oxidation, muscle inflammation, positive muscle damage, and insulin secretion. GW1516 has shown in clinical studies to improve mitochondrial morphology, which heightens energy levels.
Perhaps one of the best benefits of GW1516 is its fat-loss enhancing abilities. Researchers are extremely excited about the results that patients have shown. There are several reasons why this product helps a person to lose weight. It helps to raise patient's metabolism and alters the way that your body handles fat in the blood and how insulin is released throughout the body. The weight loss findings in research settings have proven to be amazing.
GW1516 has been linked to the development of certain diseases such as diabetes, dyslipidemia, and obesity. With extensive and more intense research, it could be possible to use this medication in the future to cure some aspects of these illnesses. It is a promising theory, what if further testing of GW1516 could open doors to possible treatment that has never been thought of before?
Not only is there wonderful weight loss enhancing benefits that can come from the daily use of GW1516 but there are many protective qualities of this drug as well. It has been proven to offer cardiovascular protection possibly because it decreases insulin spikes inside of the body. It also prevents the down-regulation of AMPK, and this leads to positive effects on dyslipidemia. Basically, what this means is that it has been shown to lower cholesterol levels in patients. High cholesterol is extremely dangerous because of the negative impact it can have on a person's heart health. By lower it, you are reducing your chances of cardiovascular problems in the future and this benefit alone makes it worth taking daily.
Not only does GW1516 have heart protective qualities but there are muscular protective qualities that have been linked through the use of this medicine as well. Along with the protective effects that GW1516 has on a person's muscles it can have many enhancing effects as well. All of these seem to happen because of the decrease in muscle inflammation and damage which occurs when taking this drug.
There is no debating that GW1516 has numerous beneficial reasons why a person should consider taking it. It is quite easy to find this medication and while the price depends on where in the world that you are trying to buy it, it is most commonly found as follows: 100 tabs- 5mg/tab Euro 70. Researchers are extremely excited about the results they have found thus far, and the research does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Hopefully, this article has shed some sort of light on GW1516 and what it could do for you!

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
I just received the email below from a subscriber. I changed the names to protect the guilty. Read every word of the email and every word of my reply. It's critical to your business survival:
Hello Paul,
I desperately need your advice on a problem my friend has. My friend James owns a music store and has been doing well until his main rival has been able to secure a direct link to the main newspaper in the region. They have a member of staff who is engaged to the top journalist of the music section for the paper.
Therefore they have been able to have huge write ups for the last few weeks, 1/2 page articles all for no cost to the store. Sales have dropped considerably from James's store and as both stores deal in collectable and retro vinyl etc, the amount of second hand stock from people selling is all but stopped coming in for James whereas the other store has been getting huge amounts due to the overwhelming publicity they are getting.
We would be so grateful for some ideas or advice you may be able to give. James has quite many of your books but he seems to have all but given up – he says that he can't continue to fight when they have that sort of power – meaning free publicity, and lots of it. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for taking the time to read my email.
Kind regards,
Caroline Dayner
Now for my reply – and it's not going to be pretty. So if you're hoping for a "let's all hug, cry and be best friends" solution, you'd better stop reading.
But if you want the hard truth without the frosting on it, if you want the information you need to survive, focus in and keep reading.
For YEARS (yes, years) I've been telling people all around the world of the critical importance to learn and use publicity.
I've talked about it many times in my ezine; many times in my paid newsletter. I talk about it every time I speak at a seminar somewhere around the world. I talk about it on my DVD "How to get $1 Million Worth of Publicity? FREE!"
Some people paid attention, learned how to get and use publicity and are now sitting pretty.
A larger number, though, did not.
And now, the precise situation I've been predicting and warning you about is here.
Let me summarize the message I've been pounding out for years:
Whoever has the attention of the media wins – period!
I don't care how small you and your business are and how big your competitors are – if you know how to attract the attention of the media and get free publicity, you win.
I don't care how big you are and how small your competitors are – if they know how to attract the attention of the media and get free publicity, YOU LOSE!
Let me give you the examples I give the audiences at the seminars I speak at:
Who do you think would draw a bigger crowd – all of the living Nobel Prize winners gathered together in one room or?
Kim Kardashian?
Who do you think would draw a larger crowd – the entire United States Supreme Court or
Lindsay Lohan?
Get my point?
Regardless of what you think about Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan they have done two things right – the two things I've been preaching to you about.
1)they've learned how to attract the attention of the media and 2) they've made themselves celebrities
Everyone reading this can do both of those things. You can learn how to get the attention of the media and you can make yourself a celebrity. You can be a celebrity insurance agent, a celebrity grocer, a celebrity auto mechanic, a celebrity dentist.
It makes absolutely no difference what business or profession you're in -
you can make yourself a celebrity. And it's not difficult at all.
But I've told you how to do this many, many times in my writings.
In the situation with James and his music store, he has done neither. What's even more frustrating is that James' friend says that he has my publicity materials right there in front of him!
Apparently he's using the manuals to keep the door of his shop open instead of learning my system. If he was using the manuals to learn my system, he would know exactly what to do, he would be doing it and he would be seeing success. Instead, he's in a panic.
James, (and everyone reading this) there is no magic pill. If you had used my materials to learn how to get publicity, I don't expect you'd be in this situation.
Is it too late? Maybe not. But your friend says you've given up. If that's true, close up shop and go look for a job.
James, based on what your friend has told me, I have no sympathy for you. You had (and still have) all the tools you need right in front of you.
Have you learned my system and followed my formula? Have you taken part in the free coaching calls? Have you asked questions on the coaching calls?
For whatever reason, it appears that you haven't. So I will do nothing more to help. I've done enough by producing the materials to teach you how to attract the attention of the media. You have to take it from there.
Many times in recent weeks I've told you that, in my opinion, things are going to get a lot worse around the world before we see some improvement.
Most people are in a panic about that.
Not me. Not other people who've taken the right steps to be prepared for
what was obviously coming. People who are prepared know that this is going to be one of the greatest opportunities of our lives. We're ready to take advantage of it.
So, to James and everyone else in his situation – it's never too late. You may have missed a lot of opportunity that passed you by because you didn't take action – but there's always more coming your way every single day. But you're the one who has to take action. You're the one who has to learn the strategies that will make you successful. You're the one who has to write the press releases and get them out.
For years I've been giving my subscribers case studies of people who've put my publicity system into action and have had great success. They had great success because they found the right information and put it into action.
Next month I'm interviewing Dan Page during my monthly coaching call. He's one of my publicity members and subscribers. I love this guy! He takes action. He tries, he fails, he succeeds, but he doesn't give up. As a result, he's had tremendous success.
Wait until you hear his story. It's great.
Every once in a while I get emails from subscribers who think I'm too tough on people.
Too bad! Unsubscribe from my ezine and subscribe to another ezine where they feel your pain, buy your excuses and agree with your thoughts that the world isn't fair.
The people who put their arms around you and tell you that you're right, the world isn't fair and your excuses for not succeeding are perfectly valid are not your friends. They're your enemies. They're your enablers. They are the very people holding you back.
I surround myself with successful people. Not one of those people ever talks about why the world isn't fair, why they have valid excuses for not being successful or why only the rich get richer.
The rich get richer because they're willing to do what it takes to get richer. The rich get richer because they give back. The rich get richer because they focus, then they try, then they try again and again and again.
I can't count how many times I've told you that one of the things that drives me the most is doing whatever I can to help the greatest number of people succeed. But that does not include doing the work for them.
I'll point the way, but you have to make the journey. If you're willing to do your part, I'll do mine.

Primobolan, much like Masteron and other types of Drostanolone Propionate, is a very popular steroid for bodybuilders during contest preparation. It's official name is Metenolone enanthate. It is a dihydrotestosterone (DHT) anabolic steroid. It is an ester based on methenolone that interacts with the aromatase enzyme to prevent estrogens from forming. It can be taken as an injection or orally. It is a long acting steroid that is considered to be very safe to use compared to most other steroids. It can reduce stress on the liver and has far fewer side effects. Metenolone is well recognized as being the go to drug for many Major League Baseball players including Alex Rodriguez and Barry Bonds. It has also been placed in a negative light over the years; so much so that it's no longer approved for selling within the United States.
Primobolan's Effects
Primobolan, is designed to increase muscle mass and strength. It is the steroid of choice for many professionals who need the extra muscle right away. It also binds the androgen receptor (AR) which creates a better binding than testosterone. As a result, Primobolan also becomes a great fat burning steroid. This was further proven when studies showed that it correlated positively with lypolysis, the process of fat stored in cells breaking down to release fatty acids into the bloodstream. Similar to Masteron, Primobolan has no propensity to convert anything into estrogen. Less estrogen means more room for testosterone which means more alpha energy that increases muscle endurance.
Concerns
Unlike most steroids made available to consumers there are hardly any concerns to be had when using Primobolan. Many have praised Primobolan for being able to balance so many different steroid effects without bringing up any of the side effects that would go into the other steroids. The usual side effects that normally apply to most steroids such as water retention, acne and gynecomastia are non-existent. Because it lacks water retention and is known for having slow but steady gains, it has built up a reputation for having high quality muscle gain over time. However, hair loss still remains which can be a real concern.
Other Uses
What's most surprising about Primobolan, other than its popularity within both the bodybuilding and MLB fields, is that it has been proven to be an agent that halts wasting and can easily reverse the effects of anemia. Also, Andriol specifically has been found to be sufficient as an immunity enhancer. This can be very useful for AIDs patients who need to gain an increase in their immune system. Primobolan can even be used to gain and maintain muscle tissue. A lot of people who are on calorie reduced diets tend to favor Primobolan because they can still retain muscle while in use. Taking Primo requires a large 100mgs/day dosage in order for it to be effective at all. Because the acetate ester has 2-3 days within its active life, oral Primo can potentially be damaged by the liver. Taking Primo every day will help reduce the chances of that happening.

If you have an under active thyroid gland, you have probably been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and new discoveries have shown that the thyroid hormone T3 (Triiodothyronine) can be used as a form of therapy. Some people are even going so far as to say that the use of this could be seen as a miracle therapy. Since this is a fairly new treatment not much is known about it, and most people are not properly informed about the adverse effects of this treatment. Below you will find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions regarding the T3 treatment.
To fully understand what T3 (Triiodothyronine) does you must have a basic understanding of a thyroid and the role it plays inside of the human body. Everyone has a thyroid, and its function is to release two different hormones into the bloodstream. T3 (Triiodothyronine) makes up 90 percent of what the thyroid secrets, and the rest of the secretion is T4 (Thyroxin). When the body is in dire need of T3, it will turn T4 into T3 through a chemical reaction. This can be quite confusing but basically, your thyroid releases two hormones and when your body uses all the first one and is in need of more, the other hormone is turned into the one that the body is craving.
In certain cases, people do not have enough T3 (Triiodothyronine) in their body and so hormone-replacement therapy is used. At first, patients were given only the T4 hormone, and the body was then expected to turn it into T3 as needed. However, reports of a strange sensation caused doctors to find a different way to fix this condition. Now T3 is added to the medicine, and this has greatly improved the way that patients respond to the hormone-replacement treatment.
T3 (Triiodothyronine) can help treat hyperthyroidism, which can cause symptoms of brain fog, fatigue, and depression. Patients who were tested in clinical studies responded very well to the treatments, and the medication has a high rate of success. Patients experienced a better quality of life while undergoing this hormone-replacement therapy.
The hormone-replacement therapy T3 (Triiodothyronine) can be prescribed to patients who are suffering from severe hyperthyroidism. Doctors will recommend patients to use this and prescribe them T3 in a pill form. They can also be found relatively inexpensive online, and the price runs right around the following descriptions 100 tabs- 25mcg/tab Euro 40.
This new medication that has some claiming it is a miracle has greatly improved the symptoms of hyperthyroidism in patients and therefore, has severely improved their quality of life. They are no longer experiencing some of the more detrimental side effects of this disease, and it is largely because of the T3 that they are taking. Some cases still show patients reporting to severe depression symptoms, but that could be due to something else entirely and was never because of the thyroid issue. However, because of the success rate, T3 is a wonderful medication that patients should ask their doctor about trying.

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
The African Airline industry is undergoing profound changes spurred on by growing African economies and a growing middle class.
The growth of this industry is, however, constrained by a number of challenges. If all stakeholders work in concert to tackle these, there are opportunities for the industry to emulate the kind of growth we have witnessed in the Asian markets in the past two decades or so.
The African aviation industry needs to continuously re-invent itself, be innovative, embrace competition and adopt industry best practices. Since uncertainty has become the norm, the industry needs to be able to adjust rapidly to a dynamic operating environment.
On a longer term, the outlook for the aviation industry in Africa remains promising .Africa is one of the regions in the emerging markets that are projected to drive global growth in the industry in the coming decades.
African Economic Growth
There is growing resilience of African economies from the economic crisis like the one recently experienced (from 2008 to the present) largely in Europe and America. This is as a result of increasing trade between African countries and a rising middle class.
African economies are expected to continue to grow at well above world average rates in the coming decades.
This is facilitated by the rapid growth of some non-traditional markets for African goods, mainly commodities, in countries like China, India and Brazil .The continued diversification of African markets and growing foreign direct investment, as well as investment by locals, augurs well for African economic growth.
This will be key to the development of local, regional and intercontinental airline traffic particularly to the non-traditional markets.
In 2012 airlines worldwide made a profit of US $ 7, 6 –billion, according to IATA. The performance of the global industry was adversely affected by generally high fuel prices which averaged US $ 111,8 per barrel.
The industry was also weighed down by the economic recession in the Euro-zone, the weak US economy and the slowdown in some Asian economies, including China.
The reduced revenues coupled with high operating costs largely driven by a spike in oil prices, resulted in many airlines making losses.
Global Industry Outlook
IATA forecasts airline profits in 2013 at US $ 12,7-billion on revenues of $ 711-billion,which is a 1,8% profit margin on the back of lower than expected fuel prices forecast ed at $108 per barrel .Although this is a significant improvement compared with 2012,the profit margin is still very thin.
The increase in profits is driven by increased new revenue streams from ancillary sales and better capacity management. Ancillary sales now constitute 5% of total revenues. Better capacity management will result in record load factors of 80, 3% in 2013.
The industry is expected to carry about 3, 1 billion people and more than 52-million tons of cargo.
African Airlines Performance
African airlines broke even in 2012 on the back on high industry costs on the continent. For example, whereas fuel constitutes about 30 -35% of the operating costs worldwide; in Africa it averages 45-55%.
However, the outlook for 2013 is much more optimistic with IATA forecasting African airlines to make a small profit of $ 100-million.
Africa's share of global traffic in 2012 remained the smallest at only 2,6% .The Asia Pacific region commended the largest share of global traffic of over 32% .With Africa's population now over one billion, there is huge potential for growth of the domestic and regional markets.
A major challenge for African aviation is that most airlines are small and under-capitalized with the majority of airlines having fleet sizes of less than a dozen aircraft. Such small airlines lack economies of scale and scope, and serve small markets using relatively older and often bigger aircraft types.
The older aircraft types have higher fuel consumption and higher maintenance costs and also higher emissions. There is need for consolidation for these carriers to survive the cut-throat competition.
The African sky in terms of intercontinental operations is dominated by non-African carriers mainly from the European Union and Middle East with new carriers coming from Asia and North America, seeking to benefit from the higher yield and growing African traffic.
The number of African carriers involved in intercontinental operations is now about a dozen whereas in the 1980s Africa had over two dozen intercontinental airlines.
Some of the intercontinental carriers have been liquidated since then including Air Afrique, Air Gabon, Air Mali, Air Nigeria, Air Senegal International, Cameroon Airlines, Ghana Airways, Nigeria Airways and Zambia Airways. In the francophone West African states, Air France enjoys a near monopoly.
Structural Challenges
Many structural issues undermine short term airline profitability. African airlines continue to deploy high-capacity aircraft on low-and mid-density markets, driving down load factors and discouraging greater frequencies where higher levels with smaller aircraft would stimulate demand much more effectively.
As a result ,average load factors are below 70% .This compares unfavorably against the global average passenger load factor of 80,3% forecast for 2013,according to IATA.
This often results in losses, or to compensate, fares tend to be high, discouraging discretionary travel.
Aviation is a crucial means of connecting cities where most of Africa suffers from poor or inadequate surface transport infrastructure.
The development of low cost carriers (LCCs) is constrained by high fuel and passenger charges. Fuel costs are up to twice the global average at some cities on the continent.
Progress on Liberalization
Liberalization is essential for airlines to grow and stimulate domestic and regional traffic to feed intercontinental operations. Though the situation is improving, it is still a long way from being ideal.
It is critical that the opening up of the African continent to African carriers be fully completed to provide freedom for airlines to fly wherever there are markets, and to facilitate investment into each others airlines.
Currently, African airlines are generally very small. Even the larger African carriers are very small by world standards.
Consolidation would be vital for the success of African carriers. It is important for States to abandon the notion of flag carriers, but rather to view airlines as business entities.
Africa may need no more than three or four mega carriers that can compete effectively against the mega carriers from outside Africa.
There will still be room for domestic and regional carriers that will act as feeders into the networks of the African mega carriers.
It is critical to strengthen the small regional carriers through equity participation along the lines of the Kenya Airways (KQ), Precision Air (PW) or Ethiopian Airlines (ET), ASKY (KP) arrangements. The growing African airlines will also need to be members of the worldwide alliance groupings along the lines of what Egypt Air (MS), KQ, ET and South Africa Airways (SAA) have already done.
Hubs in West /Central Africa
The absence of a major hub in West/Central Africa has meant that intra-Africa connectivity and especially traffic from this sub-region to other regions of the world, is largely dependent on non-African carriers.
To increase the intercontinental market share of African airlines, it is important that intro-West/Central Africa traffic is transported by African airlines via a hub in the sub-region to other parts of the world.
The creation of a hub will, however, require the existence of a major carrier .Currently none exists. Fortunately, most of the countries in the sub-region have eased their control on local airlines. Some States are encouraging cross-border investments in their local airlines. This needs to be encouraged as this opens airlines to invest in the region and help in the creation of a hub.
Already ,ET is both an investment and technical partner to SKY and this has made Lome, previously an insignificant player in air transport, develop into a preferred destination or transit point for many passengers.
Similar initiatives are needed in addition to commercial arrangements that can help improve connectivity and flight frequencies between city-pairs in the region. The failure to create a hub in this region would mean that some passengers will continue to transit via Europe or the Middle East in order to go to some destinations in Africa.
It will also mean that African airlines will continue to lose intercontinental traffic in the region to foreign carriers, since there are no local airlines to compete for such traffic.
High Industry Costs
Despite the critical role that air transport plays and its significant contribution to the economies of African countries, some governments continue to view air transport as a luxury service for the elite.
As a result, many African governments have tended to burden airlines and airlines users with high taxes and charges.
This is despite the fact that, with the relatively poor surface transport systems in Africa and the huge costs of new surface transport infrastructure projects, aviation offers a very cost effective way in facilitating the social, economic and political integration of countries, regions and indeed the huge continent.
Fuel costs average 45-55% of total operating cost in Africa compared with 30-35% global average. In addition, taxes, charges and fees are all above industry average in Africa. These are further corresponded by high cost of passenger, cargo and aircraft handling at African airports.
The high operating costs makes it difficult for African airlines to compete. They also stifle the growth of LCC airlines in many parts of Africa.
Studies by Oxford Economics and ATAG in 2011 revealed that, in Africa, aviation directly employs over 250,000 people with more than 6, 7 –million jobs if we include indirect employment, induced employment from spending by aviation industry employees. The report shows that $67,8-billion in GDP are supported by aviation.
Forecasts indicate that passenger numbers are expected to surge from 67, 7-million in 2010 to over 150, 3-million in 2030. Cargo volumes are projected to rise at a rate of 5, 2% per annum.
Already, over 1, 5-million live hoods in Africa are supported through the trade in fresh produce to the UK alone.

The healthcare industry in USA is in a state of flux – coping with the changes in HIPAA, implementation of electronic health record (EHR) software, and various other technological advancements. CIOs have their work cut out, devising an IT strategy that ensures compliance, cost reduction, and security while ramping up healthcare systems before looming deadlines.
Reforming the healthcare system – Challenges
Developing, modifying, enhancing or even tinkering with healthcare management systems is fraught with challenges for IT teams. The complicated process has become worse for healthcare industry CIOs by recent developments such as:
1. "Meaningful use" of EHR by 2014, proposed in the HITECH Act of 2009 (Stage 1).
2. State HIEs helping with sharing of healthcare data across proprietary EHR systems, and working with existing HIEs having different work policies.
3. Setting up a health insurance exchange by 2014 so consumers can buy insurance on the open market – requires content management, ecommerce, CRM and portals.
4. Robust clinical data analytics and patient engagement to support the "accountable care organization," a partnership among providers for giving patients less expensive but coordinated healthcare.
5. Processing Big Data for analysis, disease detection and prevention exercises, and sharing of best practices for rehabilitation and recovery.
6. Stricter HIPAA rules mandate organizations investing in encryption technology for the security of personal health information (PHI). Healthcare reform sets a 2014 deadline for electronic fund transfer compliance.
7. Implementing a security policy to support BYOD policy in hospitals, strongly enforcing identity and access management (in case of shared devices), device security (remote wipe in case of theft or loss, encrypted storage and transmission), etc.
8. Implementing a reliable and strong wireless network for healthcare workers to use critical applications and medical devices anywhere in the hospital despite signal blockers such as radiology departments, stacked stores, bathrooms, elevators, etc.
9. Supporting telemedicine with teleconferencing in exam rooms, etc.
10. Making personal health record services user-friendly for patients.
11. Supporting mobile health initiatives – mobile applications, patient engagement, etc.
12. Supporting SAN technology for simplified storage of hospital records via virtualized storage, thin provisioning, tiered storage, and data replication.
13. Exploring Cloud services for disaster and recovery planning, and storing medical images, records or appointment schedules.
14. Keeping up with diagnostic code sets. America is still on IDC-9, and has to move to IDC-10 by October, 2014. Meanwhile, World Health Organization plans to have ICD-11 ready by 2015.
Probable solutions:
There are no easy solutions for CIOs in the healthcare industry as the applications are mammoth, complicated, and highly expensive projects. However, CIOs can cut costs and simplify processes to a degree by considering third parties that offer inexpensive solutions for if not all, individual modules while assuring legal and regulatory compliance. Some hospitals are looking at cloud-based EHR systems to reduce infrastructure and resource costs. Some providers are offering dedicated private clouds to hospitals for higher security.

Infertility may be broadly defined as the inability to get pregnant after trying for at least one year without using any birth control. In Western countries, infertility affects an estimated 15% of the population. While a part of them are trying to conceive using alternative methods like IVF, others prefer to optimize the chances of getting pregnant naturally. Trying to get pregnant naturally may be very important, since many couples and individuals who are diagnosed with infertility may be able to get pregnant without treatment (and hence should be defined as "subfertile" rather than "infertile").
When trying to get pregnant naturally, the most important factor is to understand the menstrual cycle and the timing of ovulation, which leads to the optimum chances of getting impregnated. Usually, ovulation occurs around the fourteenth day, and hence, to get pregnant naturally, a couple should have as much sexual intercourse as possible between the twelfth and the fifteenth day. Different women have slightly varying menstrual cycles.Hence, to improve the chances of becoming pregnant, it is imperative to study one's periods, and calculate exactly when one ovulates.
Determining the signs of ovulation.
To check for the right timings of ovulation, a woman can do one, or many, of the following things:
. Keep a calendar. Keeping a calendar to chart the days is an easy and effective method to determine the right time to have sexual intercourse.
. Keep a check on vaginal fluids. Mucus discharge from the vagina usually becomes heavier, thinner, clearer and stretchy during ovulation when compared to the usual times.
. Feel the inside of the vagina. During ovulation, the cervix is softer and slightly more open than usual.
. Keep tabs on any sharp pain in the abdomen. Sharp pains in the abdomen, or some slight spotting, may be indicative of ovulation.
. Other physical conditions. Headaches, bloating, breast tenderness and pain may be signs of ovulation.
Having checked for ovulation, there are some other things that an individual can do to increase the chances of getting pregnant naturally. These include lying still for a while after having sexual intercourse, avoiding the bathroom for about thirty minutes after having sexual intercourse, and most importantly, figuring out how many times one should have sexual intercourse.
Men often neglect their own part to play in this whole scenario. The sperms need to be of the correct constitution, correct shape and correct motility too, or else, however fertile the women may be, impregnation does not occur naturally. A way of ensuring that the sperms are undamaged is by wearing boxers instead of briefs. Boxers help in keeping the testicles from overheating and damaging sperms.
For both women and men, the anatomical and hormonal factors are not the only ones to be monitored and corrected. In most cases, failure to conceive may result from an improper diet, undue stress, the use of drugs like alcohol and nicotine, and even environmental factors such as proximity to harmful doses of pesticides. Abstinence from such factors goes a long way in ensuring a pregnancy.
One should always keep in mind that the holistic approach to solving a problem is the optimal way to tackle infertility. Getting regular health checkups, taking supplements to combat existing problem, exercising and stress reduction techniques are only part of the holistic solution to infertility which considers the problem as part of a whole unlike the conventional approach which tackles a specific body organ in its attempt to heal. The holistic approach is not only a surefire way to increase your chances of conception it also guarantees a safe and healthy pregnancy.
