Article Title: Extending USB Connections Over Long Distances

It is possible to extend your USB connection over long distances using USB Extender kits, since a standard USB cable cannot send information very far before becoming distorted. By using a USB extender kit, it is possible to extend the USB signal for distances such as 30m or more. For this process, extending a USB will be done over IP by configuring the extender kit to act as a network so that Ethernet cables can connect to it just like a standard home network. This is quite different from extending a USB using just a USB extender which runs for an extra 2m or so.

In order to set up a USB to Ethernet connection, you will first need to purchase a USB Extender Kit. These can be obtained online or through a local hardware retailer and generally look like a router. The standard CAT5 Ethernet cable will work for most USB extender kits and operate through standard A/C power.

It's really quite a simple process:

By using a USB Extender kit you can connect a USB device through a longer range and connect it through a USB Ethernet hub. By connecting a USB to the equipment, devices such as printers are portable hard drives can be shared and access by anyone with Ethernet access to the server created by the extender kit. In other words, the USB Extender kit turns the USB device into a shared network device that allows you to connect another user to access the USB.

This can be extremely handy when there is a constant need to share different USB devices over a network of two computers that are in different locations, such as on the ground floor of a building and the level above it. By using a USB extender kit, not only does it make sharing the USB device such as a hard drive practical, it is also very easy to set up and can be changed according to the needs of the network. The extender kit utilizes an Ethernet connection to allow a different user to connect through an Ethernet cable and therefore share the device.

There are also some slight disadvantages to extending USB's however, and one of these disadvantages includes slightly slower speeds. Since the data is travelling over a longer distance and through an extender, it will not be as effective as simply plugging in the device directly to a computer. When transferring files such as data from a hard drive, it may take an extended period of time to finish off large transfers. This happens because when the data is carried over longer distances the signal becomes weaker and it is more susceptible to interference. The Ethernet link additionally cannot be connected to a switch or router and therefore cannot be shared to multiple users, which is also another disadvantage.

However it is obvious that the best way to share a USB over a long distance is by utilizing the extender kit, since it allows signals to be transferred over long distances that other devices such as a simple USB extender cable would not be able to. Here, the advantages of sharing a USB with an extender kit outweigh its disadvantages.

Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage is a story of a seventeen year old girl named Frances "Baby" Houseman. Set in the summer of the year 1963, Baby goes on vacation to the New York Catskill mountains resort with her family where the staff have all night dance party with sexy dance moves and musical rhythms and tempos that Baby hasn't seen nor heard before. After seeing and hearing the dances and the music, Baby can't wait to be a part of this hypnotizing scene especially after she first sets her eye on the very attractive dance instructor of the resort, Johnny Castle. There is a show at a nearby resort that Johnny and his dance partner wish to participate in but his usual dance partner is unable to participate so Johnny teaches Baby to be a better dancer as well as teaches her his sick partner's part in the routine so that she can be the replacement. Baby and Johnny's tempers clash but despite this a romance begins. There is a turmoil of events happening during this with Johnny's dance parter (Penny), Johnny, Baby's family, and Penny's current boyfriend. The events all unfold and all lead up to a climatic ending.

The musical Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage is based on the movie Dirty Dancing that was originally released in 1987. This version of the movie, however, is a live, musical show. The live version of the show actually broke records in the UK and Germany for having advance tickets sales that were the highest in history.

In London, the show sold out for the first six months of it's showing before it had even opened. After the musical was first performed in Sydney, Australia at the Theatre Royal it went on a national tour of New Zealand and Australia. In these two places alone it was shown for eighteen months and sold out every single time.

A new production opened in Hamburg, Germany in March of 2006 and it continues to play there to sold out crowds. This show actually just sold it's one millionth ticket. As if all of this success wasn't enough there was even more to come. When the show opened at London's Aldwynch Theatre it brought in eleven million dollars in advance ticket sales. After the show's opening night the advance ticket sales to the show increased to be even more than they already were.

There is, predictively, a lot of wonderful music in the musical. Some of the songs include This Magic Moment, Wipe Out, and the infamous song (I've Had) The Time of My Life. There are fifty five times in the musical where music is played with thirty times being in the first act and twenty five being in the second act.

The cast of the show includes Hannah Vassallo as Baby, Martin Harvey as Johnny Castle, Nadia Coote as Penny Johnson (Johnny's original dance partner), and fifteen other talented actors and actresses.

The writer of the show is Eleanor Bergstein who also wrote the movie. James Powell is the director but was also an actor for twelve years and appeared in the show Les Miserables. The choreographer for the amazing dance moves for the musical is Kate Champion.

The show is said to be 'spectacular' (Financial Times, Alastair Macauley), 'magnificent' (Mail on Sunday, Georgina Brown), and 'the biggest live theatre sensation of all time (Observer, Polly Vernon)'. The fact that is has been sold out many, many times is proof enough that the show is, in fact, sensational and a must see.

There are various performances happening March 29, 2010 through October 23, 2010 with multiple price options, assisted performances including wheelchair access, help for people who are hard of hearing, and people with guide dogs, and a premium seating option. The show is currently being shown at Aldwych Theatre in Aldwych, London.

This show is definitely a must see show so book your tickets today!

London is bursting with cultural activities to do, from visiting museums and art galleries to seeing a West End show. Choosing accommodation near to top London attractions will save you travel fares and time. Here's our pick of London hotels for culture vultures!

Grace Kelly Weekend at The Connaught

To coincide with the V&A exhibition Grace Kelly: Style Icon, The Connaught is paying tribute to the screen legend who once called this cultural London hotel her home. On Grace Kelly: Style Icon Weekends you can enjoy:

    * Two special 'Grace Kelly' cocktails to enjoy in The Connaught Bar

    * Two tickets to Grace Kelly: Style Icon at the V&A, including the official V&A exhibition book

    * A box set of Grace Kelly films to watch in your room, including To Catch A Thief, High Society and Read Window

    * Private visits to Grace Kelly's favourite shop, Balenciaga, on Mount Street

    English breakfast for two

    * The Natural History Museum and MEININGER City Hostel & Hotel London

Choosing to stay in a London hotel for culture doesn't have to mean spending lots of money. Just 200 metres from London's fascinating Natural History Museum lays the MEININGER City Hostel & Hotel London. This 4-star hostel offers affordable comfort and quality, with prices starting at 20 pounds for dormitory beds and 60 pounds per person for a single room. As well as the Natural History Museum, local attractions include the Science Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum and the Royal Albert Hall. And as entry to all three museums is free, you can save even more money!

    Tate Modern and Mad Hatter

Unlike its namesake in Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter hotel is not famed for its tea drinking. In fact, you're more likely to find guests in the traditional English pub which is located very handily on the ground floor. Yet this friendly London hotel has more to offer than classic British drinks and food. Walk for just two minutes and you'll find yourself on London's scenic South Bank, right between the London Eye and Tate Modern and close to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and The Old Vic.

Film Club at Charlotte Street Hotel

Situated in the leafy environs of literary Bloomsbury, Charlotte Street Hotel is known for its Bloomsbury set-inspired decor. But its artistic tendencies also lie in more modern forms. Nestled on the lower-ground floor of this creative London hotel is a state-of-the-art screening room. You can hire the room for special events or take your place on one of the 74 red leather seats for the weekly Film Club, which takes place every Sunday. Your 35pound ticket includes Champagne Afternoon Tea or a three course dinner. Other London hotels with screening rooms include The May Fair, The Soho Hotel and One Aldwych.

The National Gallery and The Trafalgar

With a name like The Trafalgar, it's obvious where this London boutique hotel is located in Trafalgar Square, of course. Its central location, under the watchful eye of Nelson, means this cultural London hotel is ideally located to see a whole host of top London attractions. What other London Hotels could offer the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery and St James's Park right on their doorstep? Not to mention Buckingham Palace as a close neighbour. The perfect London hotel for culture and sightseeing.

During the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, athletes from around the world will be flocking in to stay at the Olympic Village, but what about all the spectators that come to London? Here's our guide to the hotels in the vicinity of the main Olympic Arenas.

    Lord's Cricket Ground

Lord's Cricket Ground is located in well to do St John's Wood. During London 2012, this world-famous cricket ground will host the Olympic Archery events, while nearby Regent's Park is the venue for the Road Cycling race. Lord's is overlooked by the Danubius Hotel Regents Park, a four star London hotel just five minutes' walk from St John's Wood Underground Station. While you're not watching the London 2012 events, why not talk with the animals at nearby London Zoo, go shopping in Camden Town or meet the waxworks in Madame Tussauds.

    Hyde Park

What better way to enjoy London 2012 than in the lap of luxury. Watch the world's top athletes sweat it out in the Olympic Triathlon and 10k Open Water Swim in Hyde Park, before sauntering back to nearby Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park for a treatment in its celebrated spa or perhaps a spot of gourmet cuisine at Foliage, one of the in-house restaurants. Well, all that cheering is hard work! This stunning London luxury hotel is situated opposite Harvey Nichols and less than five minutes from Harrods and the designer boutiques of Sloane Street perfect for world champion shoppers.

    Wimbledon

The famous London home of lawn tennis, Wimbledon is the obvious place to hold the Olympic Tennis competition. This leafy area of south-west London is also home to Richmond Park and the beautiful Kew Gardens, making it an attractive alternative to central London hotels. There's a good range of accommodation in the area, but the Antoinette Hotel Wimbledon makes an excellent value choice for London 2012 hotel. The largest hotel in Wimbledon, it is independently run with great weekend break special offers available that include complimentary tickets to top London attractions such as the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, Hampton Court Palace and Tower of London.

    Earls Court

Earls Court is best known for its exhibitions, conferences and music concerts, but during the Olympic Games it will be transformed into the Olympic site of the Indoor Volleyball competition. If you're planning on being one of the 18,000 spectators watching the event, why not save yourself travelling time and stay nearby? Think Earls Court has a great selection of serviced apartments which you can book for as little as 69 pounds. A serviced apartment is an increasingly popular alternative to hotels, and ideal London 2012 accommodation, offering greater freedom, flexibility and privacy a home from home, if you like.

    Greenwich

Greenwich Park, North Greenwich Arena 1 and 2, The Royal Artillery Barracks...the London borough of Greenwich is teaming with Olympic venues. There are a massive 14 Olympic and Paralympic Sports taking place here, from all the Equestrian events to Wheelchair Basketball. As well as a London 2012 hive of activity, Greenwich Park is London's oldest Royal Park, a World Heritage Site and the home of Greenwich Mean Time. Located right in the historic riverside town, next to the train and DLR station, the Novotel London Greenwich makes a great London 2012 hotel base for exploring the area and travelling into Central London.

Did you know a shuttlecock can travel up to 200mph? Or that London 2012 will be the first year a 200 metres Canoe Sprint has taken place? Discover the weird and wonderful side to the Olympic and Paralympic Games with these fun facts

    The Ceremonies

    * The Torch bearers who carry the Olympic Flame are selected through a ballot process. The flame will travel all over the UK before London 2012 begins.

    * The Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Games are watched by a worldwide audience of one in three people.

    Olympic sports

*There are 26 different sports in the Olympic Games, and 20 sports in the Paralympic games.

    * Regulations state that the Olympic pool must be at least three metres deep and the water temperature 26 degrees Celsius (plus or minus one degree).

    * In Mountain Bike events, contestants can carry their own tool kits. But they're only allowed to receive outside assistance for mechanical problems in dedicated assistance zones.

    * Equestrian events are the only Olympic sport in which men and women compete against each other on equal terms, and humans and animals compete together.

    * Blind Paralympic swimmers are required to wear blackened goggles to ensure a fair contest. Their goggles are removed at the end of the race and checked by an official.

    * Top-level wheelchair basketball players use specially-designed titanium chairs, which cost more than 3,500 pounds. During periods of high-level competition, the chairs can last as little as six months.

Organisation and funding of London 2012

    * The staging and hosting of London 2012 is being organised by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG). It has a budget of 2 billion pounds, mostly raised from the private sector.

    * The building of new infrastructure and venues is being coordinated by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA).

    * The National Lottery has provided 2.2bn pounds of the funding for the Games.

    * Tickets for the Olympic and Paralympic Games go on sale in 2011. 7.7 million tickets will be available for the Olympic Games and 1.5million for the Paralympic Games.

    London 2012 Infrastructure and Venues

    * There will be seven sporting venues in the Olympic Park, 12 in London and nine outside London, plus two non-sporting venues: the Olympic Village and the International Broadcast Centre/Main Press Centre.

    * More than 30 new bridges are being built within the Olympic Park. One bridge, measuring 250 metres along and 40metres across, will form the main pedestrian route into the Olympic Park and the roof of the Aquatics Centre training pool.

    * 21 big screen and event spaces have been set up in urban centres around the UK. London sites include Waltham Forest Town Square and General Gordon Place, Woolwich.

    Wildlife in the Olympic Park

    * The northern side of the Olympic Park will contain wildlife habitats for hundreds of existing and rare species, ranging from kingfishers to otters.

    * Around 2,000 trees are being planted in the Olympic Park and a further 2,000 on the Olympic Village site. They are mostly native British species such as willow, birch, ash, alder, hazel, cherry, poplar, London plane and lime.

    * The Olympic Park will be the UK's largest ever urban river and wetland planting area, containing more than 300,000 wetland plants.

    Transport during London 2012

    * The organisers of London 2012 are aiming to encourage 100 per cent of spectators to travel to the Games by public transport, walking or cycling.

    * Around 10 per cent of spectators will get to the London 2012 Games by bus or coach.

    London 2012 legacy

    * After the Games have finished, the new Olympic Park will become one of the largest urban parks created within Europe for more than 150 years.

    * The Olympic Village will be converted into homes after London 2012, with many made available for London key workers such as nurses and teachers.

    The May Fair

Where better to spot A-list fashionistas than at the official hotel of London Fashion Week, The May Fair. This 5-star London hotel was first opened by King George V in 1927. Today it is the latest word in glamour, where Fendi sofas sit under the bright lights of Baccarat chandeliers. Stylish guests have included Lady Gaga, Cheryl Cole and Whitney Houston each no doubt attracted by the in-room spa treatments on offer, Amba Bar & Grill gourmet restaurant and award-winning May Fair Bar perfect for those A-list parties. Located in the heart of exclusive Mayfair, this is decadence at its most chic.

    K West Hotel & Spa

Cool and chic, K West Hotel & Spa is the London hotel of choice for those in the music biz from Franz Ferdinand and Moby to Kelly Osbourne and Pete Doherty. The Shepherd's Bush hotel is less than five minutes away from the designer heaven that is Westfield London. Inside, the treats continue with DJs playing the K Lounge on Friday and Saturday nights, the K Spa, and contemporary cuisine in the Kanteen restaurant. Eco-friendly features also make it one of London's top green hotels, as well as one of its top celebrity hotels.

    Blakes Hotel

Blakes Hotel describes itself as "the London base for film stars, musicians and all the top designers" and promises to respect the privacy of guests from the paparazzi. But a little public star-spotting is surely allowed! Small but perfectly formed, this London boutique hotel has welcomed everyone from David and Victoria Beckham to Lindsey Lohan and Quentin Tarantino. Created by acclaimed designer Anoushka Hempel, Blakes Hotel has become known as London's 'Couture' hotel, a name well served by its popular, decorative Chinese Room.

    Dorchester

The Dorchester has long been known as one of the top London celebrity hotels. For 75 years it has attracted an elite A-list of celebrities and world leaders, including Nelson Mandela, Woody Allen, Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross. Located on Park Lane in Mayfair, it's a short walk (or chauffeur-driven drive) from exclusive London shopping spots such as New Bond Street, Old Bond Street and Knightsbridge. Out of your budget? Instead of booking a room, why not enjoy one of The Dorchester's other famous attractions Afternoon Tea!

    The Athenaeum

Dating back to the 19th century, the building that houses The Athenaeum has a rich history. Originally an entertainment spot for MPs and Lords, it went on to become a popular hotel with 70s screen stars filming at London's famous Pinewood and Ealing Studios. In more recent times, the family-run London hotel has hosted Michael Douglas, Harrison Ford and Sandra Bullock. As one of the top London celebrity hotels, The Athenaeum has all the facilities expected by your average A-lister spa, award-winning restaurant, 5-star rooms but delivers them with a warm, down-to-earth manner.

There are millions and millions of people that suffer from hair loss and there are advanced treatments available now that can help to reduce or stop hair loss. Fighting baldness with advanced hair treatments has become very popular among thousands of hair clinics around the world.

    Causes of Hair Loss

Hair loss and baldness can be the result of an illness, or a genetic predisposition. May men and some women are born into a family that has a common trait of losing their hair and many of them start to lose their hair very early in life, some even in their teens. Some individuals have a tendency to lose patches of hair as a result of wearing tight braids and ponytails. This can cause hair to be pulled out and over time hair does not grow in those areas.

    Treatments

There are several treatments available that can reduce hair loss. There are over the counter topical applications that can be applied to the scalp several times a day. This type of treatment is better suited for the crown or back of the scalp for reducing hair loss. There are also drugs that can be taken in pill form that are used to retain the hair that is currently on the scalp. It helps to stop the hair from falling out. There are also hair pieces that can be worn to cover up baldness. Lastly there is surgery that can consist of a hair transplant, where the hair is surgically removed from the back of the head and placed in the front of the scalp. The bald area can also be cut away and the remaining scalp with hair on it is sewed together.

Some of the more advanced types of treatment are the use of advanced laser therapy and the strand by strand technique. Advanced Laser Therapy is used to stimulate hair growth; it increases the flow of blood to the scalp. The follicles absorb the nutrients and possibly grow hair. The client will sit in a chair under the laser machine and the laser is concentrated on the area where the hair loss is prominent. Several treatments are needed in order for results to be seen. In most cases this type of treatment is used in conjunction with other treatments like medication or topical treatments.

The strand by strand technique involves implanting human hair into the scalp one strand of hair at a time. This is a very time consuming treatment but the look is very natural when completed. The clinician will determine and map out the natural pattern of the crown and baldness area and the hair will be placed in that pattern to mimic the natural growth of the hair. A graph of hair fibers are created and placed in the area of baldness and it is interwoven into the other part of the scalp with hair to allow for a natural growth progression.

There is another treatment that is used to supplement other treatments such as the laser comb. This is a handheld comb that administers phototherapy to the scalp as the hair is combed. This comb is a standard use for after surgery treatment, to continue to stimulate the scalp.

For some women hair loss can be remedied by wearing wigs or hair pieces, there are so many natural looking hair pieces available today that it is very hard to tell the difference . There are also hair pieces for men and sometimes this may be a choice for those individuals that do not want to go the medication route or the surgical route. Everyone has to do what makes them feel comfortable and what will make them able to move on with their day in a health and happy fashion.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

The last few decades has seen a rapid growth in awareness of the environmental problems associated with burning fossil fuels to produce energy. The spread of alternative energy use has not been anywhere near as rapid. Many people have been prevented from switching to environmentally sound options by poor availability, insufficient efficiency and high prices of renewable energy systems.

It has been particularly difficult for people to turn to environmentally friendly energy production in their own homes. They do not have the resources, in terms of either funding or space, necessary to build a wind farm of put up ranks of solar panels. They have instead been offered small solar panels, solar water heaters and small wind turbines. These can rarely provide enough power for the entire home, and they tend to be too expensive for the average family. Ecofriendly electricity companies are beginning to remedy the situation by providing clean energy, but generating power on a small scale is still difficult.

Solar water heaters may be the exception. They use the sun's heat directly, to warm water for use in the home. They are affordable and work well, particularly during the summer. Solar heaters can provide hot water and heat the home.

Clean methods of energy production for domestic heating are an important part of the UK's efforts to become more environmentally friendly. About 40% of carbon dioxide emissions are produced by the heating of buildings.

An alternative method of heating the home that is more efficient and reliable than solar water heaters is now spreading through the UK. This technology has been available for about 50 years, but until recently, it has not made much of an impression in this country. Geothermal or ground source heating takes heat energy from the ground and distributes it through the house. It can also heat water for domestic use, and cool the home during hot weather. It can be relied on throughout the year, requires little maintenance and is not impossibly expensive.

These systems redistribute heat through a series of pipes running underground and through the house. The temperature underground remains much more constant than that above ground. This means that it is warmer underground in winter and cooler in summer. A geothermal system takes advantage of this fact by redistributing heat energy from the ground into the house.

The energy comes from underground pipes that are buried near the house, vertically or horizontally. A liquid runs though these pipes. It is pumped down into the ground then back up into the house, where it passes through a heat exchanger. The liquid then continues around into the ground again. As it passes around this loop, its temperature changes. It grows warmer when it moves underground, absorbing heat from the warm earth surrounding the pipe. In the heat exchanger, it loses this heat to a cooler liquid that is being pumped around a separate loop.

This second liquid, in its separate loop, is turned into gas as it absorbs heat. The gas passes into a compressor, which pushes the molecules of gas closer together, raising their temperature even further. The ground heat raised it to about 12 degrees Celsius. Compression increases it to over 65 degrees Celsius.

The hot gas is used to heat water and/or air. The water which it has heated can be used in the home, just like hot water produced by any other method. It can also be used in the heating system (eg radiators). The heated air is pumped through a system of ducts to warm the house, while a second duct system brings cooler air back to the heat exchanger.

During the summer, when the house is hot and the ground cool, the heat exchange can be reversed to cool the house.

Geothermal systems use pumps that run on electricity, so while this power source is still based on fossil fuels they are not entirely environmentally friendly. The systems are very efficient, however, producing three to four kilowatts of heat for every kilowatt of electricity used. This means that they reduce the use of other types of energy. If a renewable electricity source is also used, then the system becomes completely clean.

Geothermal heating systems are efficient and reliable. They can heat water and maintain a steady temperature in the home, heating it in winter and cooling it in summer. They can work with traditional home heating systems such as radiators and underfloor heating. A geothermal system can reduce energy bills by 70%. The initial cost will be high, but it can be reduced by government grants, available under the Clear Skies scheme.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

For most women the thought that you might one day start to lose your hair is a thought that they just could not bear to think of. The truth is that there are millions of women out there who are dealing and coping with some form of hair loss. If you are a women who is experiencing the loss of some hair, it might just be a simple solution that you are looking for while some other women are not this lucky.

If you sit and think back over time about all the times that you washed your hair and found some hair stuck in the drain, you have already begun the process of thinning hair. For some cases this can be a warning signal while others might say that it is common for you to have some hair that is lost during the washing period. This is somewhat true. However, if you combine this with the brushing of your hair and more hair being lost at this point, along with stray hairs falling out during the day onto your shirt then you just might have a problem.

One reason why some women experience thinning hair and the loss of hair is because at some point in their lives, the growth of their hair was interrupted. This is most common in women who have the genetic makeup of hair loss in their family history. When dealing with this specific type of problem, you are talking about the androgen's interfering with the natural process of hair growth.

What will happen in the case of genetics, the androgen hormones are going to come into contact with enzymes that will then be converted into a more extensive androgen DHT which will then find itself bonded with the hair follicle deep down. This is not the problem that you have to worry about, what you need to be concerned about is the excess buildup over time of the DHT which will cause the follicle to shrink. Once the follicle begins to shrink, you will start to some hairs falling out from dying along with finding that your hair is not growing as fast as it usually does. This is not the cause of all women loosing their hair, there are other causes that you should know about.

Polycystic ovary syndrome is another main reason why some women are experiencing the thinning of their hair or their hair falling out. In some cases, women who are experiencing hair loss or thinning of their hair is the only sign that something is going on within their bodies hormonally. If you are experiencing this, speak with your doctor to see what his or her opinion is on the matter.

For some women, after they have given birth to their new baby, some shedding might occur. Another common time is when you have started a crash diet along with a surgery that has taken place or when a traumatic event has occurred. All of these times, women can experience the loss of some hair. For others, you will find that your thyroid can cause you to lose hair if your thyroid is not under control, as well as if you have anemia. There are times that a chronic illness or medicine has played the role in the cause of thinning hair or the loss of hair. Look at all the changes that have been made lately and see if there is something simple that is the leading cause to your hair thinning or falling out.

For some women one of the following might be a good idea to use for their problem with the thinning of hair and the loss of their hair as well. These are some simple procedures or techniques that might be useful for your circumstance.

Laser therapy is a method that is being used to help regrow your hair and care for your scalp and follicles. This is ideal for women who have begun to see early signs of hair-loss. With this procedure, you maybe able to tell that it has begun to work in as little as three months which makes this ideal for those who are just beginning to see some shedding.

Strand replacement is another highly effective solution in which women with androgenic alopecia have seen results with or for women who have another abnormal hair-loss situation. In this case you will be replacing your hair with new hair in the same simple way that you lost your hair in, in the first place.

For others hair extensions is another method that can be used to complete your head of hair that has begun to show from thinning or from the hair loss. Hair extensions have become highly sophisticated with more women enjoying hair extensions. With more women taking part in extensions, they wont be able to even tell that it is caused from the thinning of your hair.

Article Title: Debt Problems – Common Legal Solutions in Plain English

People facing debt problems are often under pressure and it can be difficult to know where to begin to sort unmanageable finances out. This article presents a summary of legal debt management options available for different circumstances in straightforward language to help you before contacting an expert for impartial debt management advice.

    IVAs

An option for debts totalling £15,000 or more to 3 or more creditors. Properly advised Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs) should be an agreement made for at least five years involving a more affordable monthly payment. After being finalised, there should be no more letters or phonecalls or new court actions from creditors demanding payment. They're not announced in local papers and can sometimes (but not always) stop people losing a home. If you adhere to the IVA properly, those outstanding debts are written off on its expiry.

Since it involves legal steps, do obtain impartial debt management advice to see if it is the best option. A Licensed Insolvency Practitioner (IP) represents you if you go ahead.

    Debt Management Plans

Another option for people owing 2 or more creditors a total of at least £5,000 (or more). Essentially, a plan devised with a third party who negotiates with creditors. Throughout the plan, your payments are made to the third party for subsequent distribution among your creditors.

Candidates would need at least £100 monthly 'disposable income'. That means each month, £100 after essential living expenses and routine bills (mortgage/rent, food, travel costs/petrol, childcare, gas/electricity, etc).

Again, to ensure it would be the best solution for your particular debt problems talk to a specialised debt management advisor.

    Trust Deeds

Operate in Scotland and involve working with an Insolvency Practitioner (IP) to draw up a payment proposal for them to present to creditors, typically a 3 year payment plan. 2 types exist, for the first type, it is essential creditors agree to the proposal. For the second type ('Protected Trust Deeds') creditors agree to stop new interest, charges and contact with you demanding payment. Its not possible to fully detail every aspect in this brief summary, so do contact a quality debt advisor to find out more.

    Bankruptcy

A Trustee is appointed to review your finances, taking into account your everyday living expenses and you declare any assets including property. The Trustee oversees the sale of assets not required for everyday living and distributes the proceeds raised to your creditors. Until discharged, you can't be a company director or carry out certain trading activities, and you must tell future creditors about the bankruptcy. It is characterised as having the least privacy among the options here.

As you can imagine, there are a number of legally binding steps involved and we cannot emphasise strongly enough how important good quality debt advice is here. It may provoke strong reactions but quality debt advice can explain the type of situations when it presents an option.

By now, you should have a little more insight into the most common legal solutions but we do repeat our statement, good quality impartial advice can help you avoid some of the misleading or untrue claims made by more dubious companies at a time when you may be under strain.

The ins and outs of an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) can seem confusing, least of the question of what advantages it might have for you. We explain some of the key benefits and some considerations you can think about before taking further individual debt advice.

    They Have Legal Status

After formal instigation, your creditors are bound by the terms of the IVA. You get an unequivocal picture of how the agreement will run and for how long.

The Calls And Letters Wanting Payment Stop

Once in place, your creditors are not allowed to call you or send letters demanding payment.

Fresh Interest And Charges Are Halted

By law, once its running, creditors have to respect the IVA and can't add any more interest and charges to the debts.

A Halt To Fresh Court Action

Again, once legally implemented, no more courts actions for those debts is allowed if you abide by the terms and conditions.

    A Move Towards Restoring Credit

By keeping to the terms and conditions, you are paving the way to reviving your credit score after the IVA has finished,

    Much More Private

There are no announcements in local newspapers. It's possible your name will appear on the Insolvency Register, but this is on the specific internet pages only and thus likely to stay more private.

    Work Status Considerations

Unlike bankruptcy your work status is generally not affected. Qualified professionals may welcome the greater privacy aspect, due to some stigma sometimes linked to debt.

    Other Considerations

All The Debts Must Be Included When Arranging One.

It's not possible to leave any out (as may sometimes be possible with other options) but this may have a silver lining for some people. It can mean that the debts are simplified; all covered under one legal agreement with one monthly payment, assuming you abide by the agreement.

    How To Successfully Complete

Quite simply, you must keep to the terms and conditions throughout, typically for at least 5 years or more. This includes keeping up to date with monthly payments. If necessary, sometimes a 'repayment holiday' can be arranged in adverse circumstances but it prolongs the life of the agreement. On the other hand, it does mean you could keep to the terms and conditions and complete successfully. A good debt advice team should be able to successfully guide you through each stage.

    About Credit

During the agreements lifespan, normally the way forward is no regular credit cards. Instead use pre-pay plastic cards, which still afford you the convenience of being able to simply pay on plastic when you need to. You pay money onto the card, use it and top it up again for the next time.

There are many companies claiming to offer help and advice for arranging this debt management option but it is important to take impartial independent advice to make sure it would genuinely be the best solution to your individual debt problems. If you are thinking about arranging one, make sure you have all the information on this and other options before you commit.

Article Title: Why Should I Choose a Reseller Hosting Account?

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

When you're thinking about starting, or even expanding, your online business, you'll probably receive a recommendation or two about using a reseller hosting account. Maybe you've been doing just fine with a personal or business hosting plan, or maybe you are brand new to the game, and your next hosting account will actually be your first. Whatever the case may be though, here are a few reasons why you should choose a reseller hosting account.

#2 - They provide features you need for business

While personal accounts may give you the tools that you need to run your business, not all of them do. For instance, it's common for personal accounts to allow you to host 1-10 domains, allow you to use 5-50 pop email accounts, and allow you to create 1-5 MySQL databases. However, if you need more than a few MySQL databases, or you operate more than a few websites - you'll have to purchase an additional hosting account, or upgrade to a business account, just to meet your present and short-term needs.

On the other hand, reseller-hosting plans, in almost every situation, provide unlimited pop email accounts, unlimited MySQL databases, and the opportunity to host unlimited domains. While 'unlimited' is technically limited to the amount of disk space that a reseller hosting plan offers, it would be nearly impossible for you to exceed these 'unlimited' limits with a few dozen websites.

#2 - They are cost effective

When you look at a reseller-hosting plan, and what it offers - the value is excellent. It includes features that are common with a dedicated server, namely - unlimited emails, databases, and domains; it also includes something that is common to personal and small business hosting plans - an affordable price. Wrap them all together, and you have an affordable hosting plan that gives you plenty of options as a large-or-small online business owner.

#3 - They give you room for future growth

When you're setting up a website for your online business, the last thing you want to do is under-estimate your short-term needs. Ask anybody who has had the misfortune of having to transfer multiple websites to a new host themselves - it can be a nightmare. This nightmare becomes even more vivid when you have installed scripts, or you use relative paths for multi-paged websites - transferring websites to new hosting providers can eat up days, sometimes even a week or more.

By using a reseller hosting account, you significantly minimize your chances of needing to transfer your websites in the near future. In fact, many online business owners can run 20, 50, or even 100 websites on a reseller hosting account for years without needing to upgrade to a dedicated server. Once you find a reliable, and reputable, reseller hosting company, you may never need to search for another web-hosting provider again.

There are plenty of reasons why you should choose a reseller-hosting account over a personal or business hosting plan. They are affordable, cost effective, and best of all - you don't have to worry about outgrowing it in a few months as it gives you plenty of space so that you can grow your business without having to switch to a new hosting plan.

There is news for the e-reader fanatics and fans. Entourage has announced the launch of its multitasking device, the Edge.

Its multifarious prowess makes it an e-Reader with added capabilities of a notebook as well able to play and record digital media. Styled to simulate a miniaturized laptop the Edge opens up like a conventional Laptop. However, it is here that the similarity ends and diversity begins. As instead of a monitor and keyboard, what you get to see is a 10.1-inch LCD touch screen on one side of the gadget and an e-paper screen on the other side. The e-paper screen is also touch sensitive though you will have to use a stylus to draw upon it.

The Edge uses the Android OS, which opens up doors for downloading applications via Wi-Fi. The onboard 4GB memory is also considered sufficient for storage of data. This however can be extended with external attachments through its SD and USB ports. With the Google Android Application development happening you can be sure to see some games and other applications such as instant messengers.

However, the Edge has not been able to utilize the entire panorama of ideas that such a design does present us with. Featuring twin screens, it could well have been an all-touch screen net book of the like of the theoretical OLPC that we got to see some time earlier.

Given the gadgets expected price of $490, there was much more expected from the item to have its cutting edge over the others. It tries to do way too much, perhaps to justify its price tag, which is well into net book territory. In fact, it is priced more than many net books that come with real keyboard.

While watching out for the actual availability of the Edge in the market, we must also not forget the announcement by Barnes & Noble regarding their new e-reader.

One of the more popular accolades that The entourage Edge is getting, is from schools and students. The Edge is best served in an intellectual environment because of its ability to read a text book on one screen and be able to take notes, highlight and copy/paste content then it would be to have a physical textbook and paper to write on.

It is our opinion the Entourage Edge is better suited to a school atmosphere then encumber some laptops and here is why. Laptops are bulky, take allot of desk space, where as the Edge is small, fits in one hand, and you can sit back and relax in class while taking notes. With the Built in microphone you can actually record professors lectures, or record your own dictation on summaries. It is also great for book reports, and any activity based on reading and writing information done for later reference.

Article Title: Radon Gas Show's Itself With A Zero Perm Liner!

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Recently a homeowner installed a Zero Perm liner in there crawl space. Originally they installed the liner to seal the crawl space form moisture that was causing mold and mildew problems. The other major feature was that the liner offered an R-5 insulation value that would help lower their energy costs. The thought of having a problem with Radon Gas was the farthest thing from their mind.

After installing the liner system themselves, they stood back and looked at their new accomplishment. After a day of thinking of what they were going to use the space for, they decided to use it for storage. They opened the crawl space cover, turned the lights on and to their surprise they found that the liner was lifted up in the center like a balloon. Concerned, they contacted me immediately to find out what was going on. I told them that they most probably had Radon Gas coming up through the soil under their home but that they needed to contact an Air Quality Specialist to determine for sure what was trapped under the liner pushing it up.

A few days later, the homeowner called to thank me for selling them a ZERO PERM Liner. They said that they had an Air Quality Specialist come in and test the air pocket, found it to be Radon Gas and had a simple vent pipe added to let the Radon Gas escape harmlessly to the outside. They told me that if they would not have installed a ZERO PERM Liner that they may have never realized that they had a harmful Radon Gas problem that was effecting their health every day!

I asked the homeowner "Now what do you feel was the most important reason you installed a crawl space liner?" They replied "To rid our home of Radon Gas and then all of the other advantages!"

Other Benefits of Crawl Space Liners

Crawl Space Liners insulate and weatherize the area beneath your home that many builders forget about. Look for a liner that has an R value of at least 5 to add insulation beneath the home often times increasing the insulation 10 fold.

The zero permeability characteristics of crawl space liners will completely weatherize beneath the home, stopping 100% of convective heat loss. This is a far easier and more efficient solution than trying to caulk every crevice and gap in the floor to eliminate air escaping.

Also, an aluminum foil side will reflect 93% of radiant heat, dramatically reducing heat transfer by means of radiation, further increasing the energy efficiency of your home. This is the same concept you see on modern roofs that are either white or aluminum to reduce heat transfer from radiation.

As homes get smaller, and we collect more and more "stuff" storage space is at a premium. Often times people don't want to store things underneath their home because of bugs, water, mold, etc… A lined and encapsulated crawl space can enable you to utilize the area beneath your home to store those infrequently used items like Christmas decorations or photo albums.

Article Title: How To Choose The Best E-Reader

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

If faced with the question as to which is the best e-reader in the market, you would be quite at a loss, thinking of the right answer. In this case, there can be more than one right answer. The answer depends totally on the criteria you have set in looking for an e-book reader.

The factors that would guide your choice, can range from size, weight, design to content, content sources, capacity, navigation and price. From all that you have been reading about e-book readers or heard about them on talk-shows, you know that there are not one but many devices, which has added to your confusion.

Going by the size, most of them have a 6-inch touch screen, except Kindle DX and I-Pad, which have 9.7 inch screens. The prices begin at $259 and can touch $ 549, depending totally on your budget.

Now for all the surprises stored inside. If you want to know how much content is available, you also need to know the file standard used and its compatibility with others in the market. Kindle can give you the largest shelf-space but is restricted to Amazon's own format. If you have downloaded material elsewhere, chances are your Kindle will not read it. Also, your Kindle books cannot be accessed in a non-Kindle e-reader.

This opens the case to DRM or Digital Rights Management, which restricts you from converting one format to another or from copying it. Amazon is capable of deleting e-books from Kindles, even after you have paid for it. You purchase an e-book on your Kindle, but you still don't own it. This is an important consideration that has to be kept in mind, before you treat yourself to one of these gizmos.

Touch screen is fine but whether you want it to be interactive or not, is a completely personal requirement. A Kindle, a Sony or a Nook offer inter-activity in the form of highlighting text, annotating and making notes. If you are one of the many who just want to read and enjoy novels, you could save a few dollars and pick a non-interactive e-readers.

Most of them have E-Ink display, giving clarity in resolution of images. Whether it has Wi-Fi or 3G capabilities, how long does it take to charge and what is the battery life are questions you need answered. Tired of reading, you may want the book read to you. For this, the e-readers should be able to switch from text to speech mode and not disrupt the course of your novel.

First consider your needs and what exactly you want your e-readers to do for you, and then you are sure to find the one you have been looking for. Some e-readers are better suitable for time and budget and where you do most of your reading, some factors include, what type of books you want read, and how open source you want your books. Remember if you go with a Kindle you are regulated quite harshly on the books you can read

    File Based Workflow

Your file based workflow has many advantages compared to traditional film and slides. All your images usually stay on the media of your choice, like hard disk, CD, DVD or data tapes. Most of the time, they reside on a hard disk for fast access. This, however, brings the risk of accidentally deleting files. Drives can also be affected by file system corruption, malware, viruses and hardware failure. As a result, managing your data is necessary to safeguard it.

    1st Step: Backup

Backing up data means duplicating them. This reduces the risk of hardware failure tremendously. Most of the above mentioned risks are still present if you use a hard disk that is continuously on and connected to your computer. If one disk gets affected, then the backup disk will most likely be affected as well. The easiest solution is to have a backup disk that gets turned on and connected only at certain intervals in order to receive new data.

Automating the backup helps to reduce the risk even further. You could connect a backup drive in the evening and have it automatically filled with changed data that accumulated over the day. This is called an incremental backup. It reduces the amount of data necessary to be copied. When working on very large images, high resolutions or RAW files, time for copying can also be an issue. Depending on the value that you attribute to your files, writing to two devices or to two media establishes a professional level of security.

PresSTORE Backup lets you automatically backup your changed files to two hard disks at once. If you lose a file, the software lets you easily browse or search for it and restore it from your web browser.

    2nd Step: Going off-site

Professional security needs to address the risks that arise from external threats like water, fire, theft, lightning and other disasters. If you keep all your eggs in one basket ie original data and backup in the same room, chances are they will both be affected in case of disaster. Taking one data set off-site is therefore a necessity.

Whether you choose to take the backup from the studio to your home or someplace else is up to you. Just develop a routine in doing so.

    3rd Step: Archive

Every photographer that started with traditional film and slides has his individual archiving experiences. It has always been necessary to move pictures from your desk into some kind of archive. You needed to free up space on your desk and it would sometimes be a long time until you used the same pictures again. The same goes for data. This time it is not the space on your desk but the space on the local hard drives that gets filled up. Space needs to be cleared up to make room for new projects.

Archiving data is the process of moving (or migrating) data from your workstation to another device or media. Deleting the archived files frees up space and completes the process. In order to keep the level of security that you established through backing up, you need to duplicate the archive. Files will no longer be backed up since you deleted them on the workstation. The archived version will be the only copy. The result is that you want to "duplicate" your archive.

In PresSTORE Archive this is done by cloning the storage pool the archive is written to. Storing one version of the archive off-site gives you a professional level of security. There is no archive option within a solution like Aperture.

Using both PresSTORE Backup and Archive gives you maximum security with flexible access through the browser.

Your archive needs to be a flexible tool that allows you to visually browse and search. Using filenames, archiving dates or meta data information will let you retrieve the specific files needed. Having access through the browser gives you additional flexibility and even the option of offering parts of the archive to clients over the web.

    Internal vs. external Backup Solutions

Apples Aperture and Adobes Lightroom offer some level of backup. These solution, however, bring some limitations with them. Aperture's Backup is very easy to handle and can save the day if Aperture is your main tool. There are some things to consider though. If you delete a file in Aperture from within the application, it gets deleted from the (internal) backup as well. Also, referenced masters are not saved with the backup. In contrast, PresSTORE Backup just adds files during incremental backups. So all files, even deleted ones are accessible for restore. Additionally, you have to manually start a backup to a vault in Aperture. PresSTORE Backup takes this task off your mind and runs scheduled backups according to your chosen times.

    Long-term Workflow Considerations for Photographers

    Backup ...everything!

Saved image files probably represent your most valuable assets. But everyone who has seen a machine go down knows that your pictures are only part of your assets. They also include: The operating system, the applications and most importantly their settings, as well as preference files. Over time you configure your favorite programs, add plug-ins and scripts, actions, filters, brushes etc. It takes a long time to rebuild all of that if you forget to save it. This is where a professional backup solution like PresSTORE saves the day because it takes care of your images AND your other data. It keeps track of changes in any area, collects the files and stores them for you. Of course all the other business related content is there, too: Spreadsheets for taxes, office documents or addresses. Your business consists of files, many files. Keeping them safe should be your concern in any case.

    Access to your Archive

Most photographers use multiple tools to catalog and edit their images. ALL the created files should be accessible by different applications. A file oriented solution is therefore the most flexible way to ensure access. PresSTORE is available through the browser. You use it to configure all processes, run backup and archive jobs, monitor them, browse and search for files and restore them. You can do all of that from any workstation in the network or even through the internet. The flexible filter features allow you to create a drop folder for archiving. Including or excluding files by name, date, extension, or other criteria offers additional possibilities for adaptation to your workflow.

An archive is meant to grow with your body of work. It contains all final versions and all material that you choose to store for the long term. But archiving also means not knowing what size your archive will grow to in a few years. Multiple drives might be needed to hold all your files. Still access needs to be as flexible and easy as possible. PresSTORE Archive maintains (by default) one archive index that keeps track of all files in the archive. Here you can search and browse all media, even if the storage device they are on might not be available right now.

How to pick the right Storage Media

Hard disks are ubiquitous, fast and cheap. But there are other choices. Optical media like CD-R and DVD are used regularly. There are several problems with them: Long-term storage, capacity and transfer speed. Compared to today's hard disks, the capacity of a DVD or even a blue-ray disk is ridiculously small. You need loads of them to archive even a single 1TB drive. After storing them for over one year you will discover that some of them already lost your data. They are not readable anymore. Even when trying to compensate this by only using high quality media, storage limitation and slow writing/reading will remain an issue.

Hard disks on the other hand seem tremendously favorable and the moderate prices make a useful choice. If you disconnect them and store them safely, dry and (not too) cool, chances are they will last you for a while. Still they might not startup the next time you connect them. Choosing two drives from different manufacturers (of the hard disk itself!) reduces this risk. Life expectancy of this type of media ranges from 2-5 years.

There is a solution that has been around for a while and has matured to a considerable level of efficiency and accuracy at the same time - tape. We are talking data tape of course by the name of LTO (there are other tapes but none as reliable and professional). Secured by multiple mechanisms ranging from pre-recorded servo tracks to checksums preventing data loss, to extreme long-term certification of up to 30(!) years, this is the medium of choice for a professional archive. In a very compact tape cartridge you can get from 400GB to 1600GB, making off-site storage really easy. Reading and writing speeds are faster than your local hard drive (80-200MB/s). The only catch to it: Many hesitate to use tape because of its initial cost. But this is only part of the story.

By installing a tape-based archive you save investment in ever growing hard disk storage, administration and infrastructure (how many drives can you connect to your machine?). In the long run, tapes pay off because they give you professional scalability (it grows almost endlessly) and proven durability at an unbeatable price per GB. And: PresSTORE will even help to keep your tapes organized.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Many people in the UK are confused about which asbestos they can remove themselves and when they need to use a specialised contractor. Before I attempt to explain the whys and whens I'd just like to expand upon the word "asbestos" because its rarely used in the correct context and by-and-large it determines what you can and can't remove.

Asbestos is a generic term for a family of fibrous minerals. When people say that something is asbestos they normally mean "it contains asbestos fibres". The most commonly found members of the asbestos family are Crocidolite (aka blue asbestos), Amosite (brown) and Chrysotile (white). Different asbestos types have different properties so they tended to be used in different materials. For example white asbestos has long, strong and flexible fibres and is commonly found in construction materials such as roof sheets, paints and tiles. On the flip side, brown and blue asbestos have strong, fire-resistant (but brittle) fibres and tend to be used in thermal insulation products such as pipe laggings, sprays and boards.

Now that we've established the asbestos types its important to make a distinction between domestic and non-domestic work. Asbestos is regulated in the UK by the Control of Asbestos Regulations which is aimed specifically at the workplace (ie non-domestic) and does not cover asbestos in the home. So, effectively, you are free to do what you want with asbestos in your own home. But, its important to remember that if, at any point, you hire someone in your home it becomes a workplace. Finally, before commencing any removal work in your home you need to consider how you are going to dispose of the waste. Many local authorities will accept white asbestos materials (roof sheets, tiles, Artex, etc) as long as they are correctly bagged. For all other products (AIB, sprays, insulations, etc) you will need to use a licensed waste carrier and you may find the cost prohibitive.

Right, asbestos removal in the workplace. The official way of working out when you need to use a licensed contractor is VERY complex and for the layman its almost impossible to calculate with 100% accuracy. Its based on the concentrations of fibres that you will be exposed to during the removal process. So, clearly, removing materials that contain high levels of asbestos fibres will expose you to greater numbers of fibres, right? True, but you also need to take account of factors such as whether its in or outside, which method you are using to remove it, and so on. Believe me its not simple. But, as a rule of thumb we can base it on material type and the following is 95% accurate.

    Materials which can removed by a non-licensed person or organisation;

Composite materials (mostly white asbestos) ie

    - Asbestos cement (profiled roof sheets, panels, guttering, water tanks, etc)

    - External tiles (roof or patio)

    - Textured Coating (Artex)

    - Internal plastic tiles and linoleoum

    - Felts and bitumens

    - Toilet cisterns (brown asbestos)

Materials which should be removed by a licensed contractor

Friable materials (normally blue and brown asbestos) ie

    - Asbestos insulation board (cladding, fire breaks, ceiling tiles, soffits)

    - Sprayed insulation

    - Packing

    - Thermal insulations (pipe laggings)

Its important to bear in mind that any asbestos removal or repair works can cause significant asbestos exposure in both the long and short term and you should always consider using a specialist contractor.

If you are in any doubt then you should always consult a specialist.

Using natural acne remedies is one of the many options that you have to help combat against acne and acne breakouts. This is a skin condition that affects millions of people around the world and can really be painful both physically and emotionally. No one wants to go to work or school with pimples all over their face especially when people start noticing. This can be embarrassing. Well it doesn't have to be this way any longer.

There are plenty of natural acne remedies that are proven to work and a lot of them have to do with eliminating a couple of bad habits and replace them with good ones. These natural acne remedies are simple to implement, are safer, and cheaper than if you were to take an acne medication.

There are quite a few problems if you decide to go the route of taking any type of acne medication whether it's a pill or cream. The first one is that you need to be aware of unpleasant side effects which can range from being only mild to more severe. Some of the mild ones that you may experience are itchiness, dryness, flaking, etc. Some of the more severe ones can be depression, headaches, and possibly cause worse acne conditions.

Another problem is trying to find an acne treatment product that works and best fits your type of acne problem. This can be difficult seeing how there are so many products being advertised. Using natural acne remedies work for all people because it treats acne at the source and the surface not just the surface like many acne products. Even if you did find an acne treatment that works, most times it will only work temporarily because it only treats acne only at the source.

Here are some natural acne cures that you can use to start your journey in fighting acne:

Drink Water - Drinking more water will help to get rid of harmful toxins in your body that can contribute to you having acne. So get rid of the sodas and juices and drink plenty of water daily.

Eat Healthier - In order to function properly, your body along with your skin needs its daily vitamins and minerals. Avoid oily and fatty food intake and consume for foods that are rich in vitamin, minerals, and anti-oxidants.

Daily Exercise - This helps to get the blood pumping to deliver the goods (vitamins and minerals) to the skin as well as help to get rid of toxins through sweat.

These three ways can be considered natural acne cures because they will help to cleanse the body from the inside. Other natural acne cures that work on the surface on where the acne is, are cleaning the face with a gently soap, avoid makeup, lotions and anything that can clog the pores. You can also clean your towels and pillows more often to get rid of the oils and dirt that accumulate on them overtime.

These are only a few of the natural acne cures that you can implement. They really are simple and making them a habit will only be beneficial not only to curing your acne, but your overall lifestyle. There is no reason to risk taking acne drugs, pill, or creams when you know that there are natural acne cures that can be used to combat against this common skin condition.

Article Title: How to Develop Meaningful Goals & Objectives

    Overview

The creation of meaningful business goals is an important activity in every organization. Too often, goals are poorly crafted and fail to lead to the achievement of the intended results.

Properly created goals should cascade from the organization's strategic plan, business unit goals and / or from departmental goals. Typically, as goals flow downward they move from a broader focus to an individual's specific accountabilities. After the top-lines goals are identified, the next level down has to translate these goals into sub-objectives that at meaningful to employees at each successive level. When objective setting is completed for the year, the goals created at the individual level should fully support the goals of the next level up. Depending on the number of levels, this hierarchical objective structure should be consistent up through the strategic goals of the organization

Properly established goals provide a roadmap for organizational success and move the organization and its workforce toward meaningful accomplishments. Typically, goals form the basis of professional and management employees' performance reviews.

    Planning to Write Goals

There are three components that make up well-written goals. Each of these components has a different purpose, but they work together in a collaborative fashion.

The "what" is the objective itself, which defines its purpose and scope.

The "why" is the set of benefits to be gained, which explains the motivation for accomplishment.

The "when" is the roadmap that provides direction and achievement markers.

Well-written goals will address each of these components and ensure that there is alignment with the top-level goals of the organization. For each potential objective, it will be helpful to think through these components before committing them to writing.

    Objective Subject Matter

The subject matter or topics for goals are typically formulated around Products, Processes, People, Performance and / or Profits. We think of these as the "5 Ps". When creating goals, they will involve action around changing, improving, fixing, increasing or enhancing one of the following:

Products – goods and services provided.

Processes – Policies, procedures, methodologies and equipment which is used to produce products or administer the organization.

People – Employees, Customers and / or Clients.

Performance – The quality and quantity of individual and / or organizational output.

Profits – The revenue and financial goals of the organization, business unit or department.

    Writing SMART Goals

After the Objective components (what, why and when) and subject matter (5 Ps) have been identified on a broader level, the actual specifics of each objective can be written. The SMART acronym provides a simple (yet powerful) method for writing meaningful goals. When writing goals, the SMART criteria should be included in each final objective.

    S – Specific

Goals need to be specific in order to define the overall effort and tasks involved. Ambiguous goals only lead to ambiguous results! Goals should provide the answers to the following questions:

    Who is involved?

    What needs to be accomplished?

    Where will it be accomplished?

    When should it be accomplished?

What conditions need to be met?

    M – Measurable

Goals need to have concrete metrics for gauging progress and evaluating performance. This helps employees stay on track and reach their targets. Progress point measurements might also be included into the goals. By successfully reaching progress points, a cycle is created that provides added motivation to put forth the continued effort toward reaching the final destination.

    A – Attainable

Goals need to stretch and challenge current capabilities, but they must be attainable. Goals that are perceived to be unreachable will lead to frustration. Employees may feel "what's the use in trying – it can't be done." Attainable does not mean easy. Often goals that might seem overwhelming can become more manageable if they can be broken out into attainable steps.

    R –Realistic

Like unattainable, unrealistic goals will lead to negative experience and frustration. Often personal and situational factors influence the ability to reach objectives. These should be considered when defining the objective to be certain that an objective can be achieved. Goals that involve steep learning curves should also be avoided unless there is adequate time to come up to speed. The bar should be set high enough for satisfying outcomes and to encourage a positive cycle of achievement.

    T – Time bound

At a minimum, starting and end points should be written into every objective. Day-to-day crises and other priorities will quickly supersede goals without timelines or schedules. Timelines and deadlines create a powerful and necessary sense of urgency to take action. Goals with long time spans should be broken out into attainable steps with progress check points.

    Examples of Goals

When writing an objective, clear and specific language is recommended. Always start out with a VERB and use the SMART criteria. Avoid using negative language and always think positive.

    Example 1 – Run the Mini-Marathon.

"Run the mini-marathon on May 4th 2009 and complete the race in 58:14 minutes/seconds to beat my personal best time."

You will note how the above example begins with the verb "run" and tells "what" (the mini-marathon), "why" (to beat my personal best time) and "when" (May 2009). This is a well-written objective.

    Example 2 – Computer Upgrades

    "Install the 5X computer upgrades."

While the above example begins with a verb "Install" and tells "what" (5X computer upgrades), it fails to provide a "why" or "when". This is not a valid or complete objective and has room for improvement.

    Example 3 – Computer Upgrades

"Install the 5x computer upgrade and test each installation to ensure that the new software runs properly. Installation should be completed in Corporate by February 28th, West Region by March 30th, and East Region by April 30th."

This example starts with the verb "Install", tells the "what" (install the 5x upgrade and test), "why" (to ensure the new software runs properly) and "when" (various dates). It also contains mileposts for successful performance. This is an example of a well-written objective.

    Obstacles & Solutions

After the creation of well-written goals using the SMART criteria, there are a couple of other considerations which will help ensure that the objectives will be accomplished.

It is very helpful to list out all the "Potential Obstacles" to achieving each objective and for each obstacle identify a "Potential Solution". There are all kinds of factors that can challenge successful results. Changing workforce requirements, increased workloads, competing priorities, availability of resources, the troubled economy and new laws and regulations are only a few of the factors that might present roadblocks.

For each potential obstacle, a clearly crafted solution should be evaluated. While some of these obstacles may never materialize, planning for them in advance will help ensure resolution if they should they become reality.

    Ensuring Buy-In

Last but not least, individuals needed to help employees achieve their goals should be identified early on. Gaining peer, subordinate and or supervisor support may be part of the objective or it may be an important by-product. In any case, the earlier these people are engaged in the objective process, the greater the likelihood of success.

The easiest way to establish buy-in is to allow participation in the objective setting process. Participation helps (but does not guarantee) that the objective will be accomplished. There is a greater likelihood that people will support a process or objective that they have had input in creating.

Additionally, when people know "what's in it for them" there tends to be support and commitment. Those that need to support the objective or those impacted by it, should feel (if possible) that they have a stake in successful achievement.

One of the most asked questions pregnant women ask is should they wear a maternity bra during their pregnancy. So here are the top 7 reasons you should wear one.

As most pregnant women will tell you, during pregnancy your abdomen and lower rib cage increase in size as your baby grows. After the first trimester, your breasts will also grow in size. Your breast will grow one more time after your baby arrives and you start breast-feeding.

Your breasts will be tender and sensitive during your pregnancy and depending on the person, your cup size will increase at least twice if not three times before your baby arrives. Since this is a fast growth, the weight of your breast will put more pressure and stress on your back muscle.

The muscles that support your breasts are stretched out fast during pregnancy. This causes your breasts to be more tender, ache and become even more sensitive.

A good supportive maternity bra will help support the weight of your breasts as they grow larger. If you get a maternity bra that fits properly, you won't suffer from back aches during your pregnancy. Well, at least you won't suffer from back aches at the top of your back. Sorry, ladies, there's nothing to do about the lower back aches…yet.

When you get your first maternity bra, you might think it looks like a hammock. However, today's maternity cloths are sexy, comfortable and very supportive, even if they do look like mini hammocks. They come in all styles, colours, and sizes. They also grow as you grow. Therefore, there's no need to keep upgrading bra sizes.

One more piece of advice – wearing a bra with an under-wire during your pregnancy will damage the milk ducts in your breast. This can cause an infection such as mastitis and then you will be in major pain.

Here's the 7 top tips when choosing a maternity bra:

    1. Make sure the bra fits snugly at its tightest fitting. This will allow for growth as your breast and ribcage get bigger.

    2. Get the correct cup size. A deep center on the front of the bra is a good guide to guarantee a fuller cup. Make sure your breasts are fully covered, even if you're not used to this style. You'll find it more comfortable as your breasts grow.

    3. Make sure it's not too tight. Too tight will chaffed the breast tissue and cause you lots of pain. Also check the top and under side of the arm for chaffing.

    4. Choose a soft cup instead of one with a wire underneath.

    5. Regularly check your breasts and adjust the maternity bra to make sure you're being supported.

    6. Two different size breasts. Use a pad or soft filler to even them up. It's quite common to have two difference size breasts during your pregnancy. Don't worry, they'll even out before the baby arrives.

    7. Choose the sexist one you can find.

    Good luck and enjoy!
