The current situation is a progressed situation of the past. Good things are happening and even credit cards that have been sidelined all through, have become more relaxed and offer more than in the past. There were lots of complaints about credit card rates being hiked up without notice and lenders pulling too much from the borrower's accounts. These are cases that have been looked into and rectified over time but one main thing about credit cards is that it is only available to people who belong to the elite class.
When most of the people who really need cash loans belong to the slot of people who are not eligible for credit cards, the only option left is to turn to payday loans. Short term loans can work out to be more efficient than even the current offers from credit cards. Tempting as it may look, the fact that most of the country remains ineligible to have a credit card , thanks to all the recessions impact remains one of the most heart breaking of all. Payday lenders are competing to counter offer, to all the ones who feel rejected by credit card companies.
Recently, the trend has changed that even payday loan companies provide a sort of flexibility that no other source of cash loans can provide. There are loans that are offered at any time of the day and as soon as needed. This is a boon in a way that is beyond people who borrow from other sources like banks and credit card companies. The flexibility lies in the loan amounts taken, flexibility in repayments and pay days.
Since payday loans work on the concept of money till next payday, it becomes easier to understand the product and abide by the conditions laid down by the payday loan lender. The borrower is allowed to enter his paydays in the online application form that can be filled in a couple of minutes time, which is used to generate the future paydays. Payday loans are meant to last enough just between two pay dates, but the freedom is given to the borrower to extend the loan period to a maximum of six months. This is the most widely chosen option, the installments plan.
For availing a traditional loan, you have to personally visit the bank. After that you will have to submit the documents which will be used by the bank as a guarantee to your loan. Also the loan will not be sanctioned immediately as the bank will carry a background check which will decide whether you deserve the loan or not. Also it will decide the authenticity of your documents submitted. But are you sure you can do all these time consuming steps when you urgently need money? The obvious answer is no. But you should not worry as payday loans are away from all these things. You can just apply online ie there is no need to go the bank. As you do not have to submit any document, so there is no question of authenticating your documents. But this does not mean that you will not have a background check. Definitely the payday loan provider will check your credit history. But for this they will not ask for any document but will get this done using your the details which you gave in while filling the application form.
Credit cards can be any day be overthrown by payday loans just for the one fact that anybody is eligible to avail these loans and they can be got at any point in time. The verifications happen online and immediately after the form is submitted to the lenders. This makes the loan process way shorter and more efficient than the rest of them. The only means of having money without worrying about classes and statuses are payday loans.

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
One sort of guy who "works at" getting better with women and tries to attract women is the aspiring pick up artist.
The most telling thing about pickup artists (aka PUAs) is that most guys who get women, who get labeled as them eventually wish they weren't. And most of the real pickup artists out there are guys you've never heard of, with no products to sell, no nine-step system, and no notoriety except amongst a few of their buddies and the legions of women they've slept with.
I'm friends with a lot of guys on facebook who add PUA to their name… silly things like Icedragon PUA or Adam PUA. No disrespect, but that sort of thing really smacks of an identity that is flapping around in the wind.
Hmm, let me explain.
We all have a notion of who we are – this is called our "identity". Our behaviors are tied to this identity. So if you've been told that you're a "nice guy" your whole life, and that's what you believe about yourself, then you'll probably be, well, nice. You'll do nice things for people, go out of your way to help people, and you'll probably be very considerate of others.
Nothing wrong with any of that.
But if being a nice guy prevents you from doing things that, in your conception of a "nice guy", aren't very nice, then you might have a hard time doing some of the stuff that women find insanely attractive and you will find it hard to get women. It just doesn't "feel right."
Follow me?
This isn't to harp on nice guys. A kid who grows up on the streets and is told that he's a "thug" his whole life is probably going to have to make some adjustments if he manages to escape the hood and join, say, the business community. His identity is going to drive a set of behaviors that are defensive, walled-off… all the stuff he needed to survive in the streets.
Another example is the kid who grows up in an upper-middle class household, gets everything handed to him on a silver plate, and never learns to hustle. He skates through college, then gets out into the real world and lands a sales job. If he still holds onto the notion that he's above hustling – a prerequisite for any good sales guy – he's going to find his ass out of that job mighty fast.
Point being, when we have a conception of who we are, one that's been reinforced for anywhere from fifteen to fifty years, it can be tough to break out of the mold. Sometimes it's easier to adopt a new identity, or alter-ego, altogether.
Since The Game and The Pickup Artist came out, many men have decided that being a pickup artist is preferable to being whatever else they may currently be. Often, this is accompanied by the addition of outlandish clothing, silly hats, and certain behaviors and values that somehow permeated the "pickup community". Many of these are counter-productive, childish, and don't reflect the reality of the real pickup artists and how they get women, the hustlers and lady killers who have no need for an alternate identity because they're already slaying it out there.
As I've stated before, I have no idea where you're coming into this book from. Your sense of self could be incredibly strong, or incredibly fragile. What I'd encourage you to think about is this: there are going to be some things that you have to do or say which may be beyond your comfort zone. If you ever find that little voice in your head saying "I'd never say that" or "I'd never do that," you now know where it's coming from (your identity) and you have to ask yourself if the "I" in that situation is really looking out for your best interests.
I'll get into that more in a second. But I want you to understand that the cult of the pickup artist is one that has been created, and reinforced, by insecure guys who weren't getting women when they decided that they wanted to be called PUAs and hope that now they will get women.
And yes, I recognize the irony of all of this, considering that this is the official book of PUAForums. But don't get too hung up on a name. We're here because we want to teach you how to get wome, and whether you become a pickup artist in the truest sense of the word… or a lady killer… or a social man… the goals are the same, trying to attract women. Call it what you like.

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
Right up there with baseball and apple pie, pizza has become an American icon, no longer just reserved for college students on a budget – but a family favorite across the country. Whether it's piled high with pepperoni and mozzarella or loaded with pineapples and ham, pizza is one of the most popular foods in the United States. Americans gobble up around 350 slices of pizza per second, which amounts to around one-hundred acres of pizza each day. In fact, the average man, woman, and child in the US each eats an amazing 23 pounds of the round pie every year.
History. While many folks believe pizza to be a strictly Italian food, unleavened bread seasoned with olive oil and topped with native spices was being eaten thousands of years ago in ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece. The familiar pizza that is served up at your local pizzeria or out of your own freezer is akin to the pies that were first baked up in Naples, Italy in the latter part of the 19th century by baker Raffaele Esposito who concocted the dish for royal guests. The ingredients for Esposito's original pizza pie were inspired by the red, white and green colors of the Italian flag and are represented through the colors of the tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. It was Italian monarch King Umberto and his Queen Margherita that were the honored dinner guests; the two royals were so thoroughly impressed by the dish that they went on to spread the word about it to others, and thus a food phenomenon was born. It didn't take long for pizza to make its way across the ocean as immigrants from Italy settled in Chicago and New York and opened up small cafes and eateries that served the dish in the early 1900s. Soldiers returning from WWII who had served in Italy and developed a taste for the beloved pie helped to spur on the popularity of pizza in the US That popularity begun to grow throughout the 20th century, and now 94% of all Americans eat pizza regularly.
Toppings. What goes on top of the pizza may very well be its biggest attraction or selling point. In the United States, pepperoni is considered to be the most popular topping, accounting for around 1/3rd of all pizza orders at restaurants that serve pizza; in fact, over ¼ of a million pounds of pepperoni is used on pizza in our country each year. Other toppings of choice include Italian sausage, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, green pepper, onion, ham, pineapple and of course, extra cheese. And while the majority of folks prefer meat on their pizzas, around 1/3rd of all pizzas are ordered with vegetarian only toppings. For those with a taste for the more exotic, everything from oysters to Cajun shrimp has also been offered up for pizza toppings in gourmet pizzerias around the country. Pizza toppings vary widely around the globe; for example, squid and eel are enjoyed in Japan while Brazilians top their pizza with green peas. Costa Ricans like to top their pizza with coconut while Russians prefer sardines and onions .
Staying Power. Regardless of how you slice it, pizza as a beloved food has staying power; in fact pizza is so popular that the month of October has been dubbed as National Pizza Month in the United States since 1987. Pizza is a thirty billion dollar a year industry with around 69,000 pizza restaurants operating in our country that sell around three billion pizzas annually. This represents nearly 1/5th of all restaurants in the country and accounts for around ten percent of all food service sales.

The balcony is an extension of the home, and it is the spot where you and your family lounge and read the latest bestseller, enjoy entertaining friends, and enjoy the great outdoors. It is a space that can be decorated according to the season or for any reason, and if you enjoy spending time on your balcony, you can make it an impressive space where friends and family will also love to spend time. The following steps will help you decorate your balcony and transform it into a place that makes entertaining friends and family a breeze.
Decide on a Theme, Season, Holiday or Design. The selected theme will determine the accessories that you use to decorate a balcony. In the spring and summer, adorn the balcony with eye-catching containers of flowers and foliage as well as other accessories that speak of the season. In the fall, it can be decorated with small bales of hay, pumpkins, and friendly scarecrows. In the winter, your outdoor space can be decorated with holiday or seasonal decor. A balcony can become a showplace that will change with every season and holiday. You should design your balcony according to your personal style and preference; it should become an area where you can show case your creativity and uniqueness.
Cleaning is the First Step. No matter the design and the way in which the balcony will be used, it is important to clean it before beginning to decorate. You must remove any items that are not necessary and thoroughly remove any dirt and debris. Prepare the vertical surfaces also, getting rid of dirt and webs before beginning to furnish and decorate your balcony. A clean area is much more inviting and comfortable.
Selecting Seating and Accessories that are Comfortable. The majority of people are more likely to enjoy sitting on the balcony if the balcony seating is adjustable for enhanced comfort. Before beginning to decorate your balcony, choose seating for the outdoors with care, and invest in furnishings that are like to be enjoyed instead of going for the options that are the cheapest. Also, choose side tables that are useful for holding food and drinks. Make certain that outdoor furnishings are something you will be proud to display on a balcony. With proper care, wood, metal, or wicker can last for many years and will enhance the overall appearance of your balcony.
Choose Larger Pieces First When Decorating. Once you have cleaned and outfitted the balcony with furniture, you can next proceed to decorate, using larger pieces first. For example, when setting up fall decor, place small bales of straw or hay in corners, and use them as platforms for displaying carved pumpkins, scarecrows, gourds, and any other fall decorations. Once larger items are in place, smaller items can be arranged and moved as needed.
Select Balcony Decor. It is unnecessary to browse the seasonal aisle of big box retailers or home improvement stores to locate just the perfect items to adorn your balcony. Come up with unique outside decor that includes items you have found at tag sales, decoys, and other items not generally used for decorating. Adorn your balcony with unique items and it will draw more interest from passersby. Best of all, you will be able to comfortably relax in an area outdoors that is uniquely stylish and well decorated.
Using Lighting to Decorate. Balconies are ideal for enjoying long days outdoors, and a balcony that is used quite often must have outdoor lighting. You might consider all-weather rope lighting to illuminate the balcony. This kind of decorative lighting can be found in many different colors and lengths, and this lighting can be extended or cut to fit all areas. Rope lighting looks attractive when added under a balcony railing or around the base. Indoor/Outdoor lights used to decorate during winter holidays are ideal for placing around outdoor displays, and they provide just the right amount of light on dark, spring, summer, fall, or winter nights. With a little bit of care, and some planning, you can create an inviting and ideal atmosphere on the balcony that will be a welcome sight at day's end.

Starting your search for wedding invitations presents you with a wide variety of printing methods to choose from, including engraved, offset, digital and others. You know you want an elegant and stylish invitation, but are unsure which one to choose. One of the best ways to show your style of elegance is with letterpress invitations.
This print process works well with a variety of paper. Many printers suggest 100% cotton paper as the softness of the sheet provides the first class crisp printing look many brides are after. Wedding cards and wedding invitations printed using the letterpress method can be eco-friendly too. For example, recycled and organic papers are frequently used for letterpress invitations.
Authentic letterpress is an artisan craft that is part skill and part art. One cost included in the price will be for the plate used to press the text. Labor costs are also included because each piece of stationery requires the press to be torn down and set up again. Another reason printing letterpress invitations and wedding cards can be pricey is that the presses are usually not run-of-the-mill print shops. They are frequently owned and operated by artists who do the printing as well as the design work. That means you're not only paying for printing wedding cards and other stationery but also for design and layout.
The variety is relative depending on the company you choose. A small mom-and-pop printer might take up to 4-6 weeks to deliver product, while a larger company can print letterpress invitations and wedding cards within a few days. Since invites should be mailed about 8-12 weeks before the big day, make sure you order in plenty of time to assemble and address your letterpress invitations.
The wording on invitations is yet another way the classic differs from the modern wedding invitation. Wedding etiquette decrees specific phrases and tenor for the wedding invitation, but many modern couples are eschewing the traditional to make their wedding invitations a statement of their personal feelings and beliefs.
As for the history of letterpress, Johannes Gutenberg invented this process over 500 years ago and it was used to print the first Christian Bibles. To further explain letterpress printing, it is a classic and elegant way to invite guests to your formal affair. Most brides consider using this method for invitations. Letterpress can also be used to print many of the other wedding related documents such as thank you notes and RSVP cards.
The companies that deal with printing of the wedding cards mainly focus on providing you the aesthetic satisfaction as they strive to provide you with the most complicated deliveries of wedding cards at a very short notice. Some really great companies feature bold, modern graphics in striking styles and colors. Well-known companies turn letterpress on its ear with innovative designs of the cards themselves, not only the letterpress invitations. A simple online search can find you just the right letterpress invitations for your budget as well as your personal unique tastes.

Recording studio furniture tends to be one of the last things people consider when planning a home recording studio setup. During the development of a fully functional and effective recording environment, most people feel the need to procure the best possible electronics equipment available on the market. This is probably a great idea if you can afford it. You would certainly want the equipment in the studio to be of the best quality available for your budget. However, you should not make the mistake of neglecting the furniture that you purchase. Some people do not give this issue any serious consideration when performing a recording studio setup. However, without appropriate furniture, you may find your experiences in the studio to be at best ergonomically inefficient and in the worst possible case a disaster.
Making a decent recording in a studio can take a lot of time and effort. This requires sitting in your home recording studio for an extended period of time. Would you want to do this using a chair or couch that was thoroughly uncomfortable? More than likely, you would become annoyed at having to deal with such an issue. That is why it is necessary to carefully plan the purchase of the best available furniture. Your choice will determine how comfortable you are while you put in the long hours required to make the studio time worthwhile.
Purchasing the correct furniture also adds to the aesthetics and ambiance of the studio. A recording studio - like any other room in a home - should be designed so that it embodies a furnishing style that contributes to the overall positive look and feel of the interior. This is one of the reasons why buying appropriate furniture for the studio is so highly recommended.
The furniture in your home recording studio setup needs to be entirely practical. You need to ensure that any recording equipment that needs your close and personal attention – such as a mixing desk, computer system, midi keyboard etc. - are within easy reach. You also need to ensure that the furniture can take the weight of the equipment it will need to support. It is highly recommended that you also confirm that the dimensions of the equipment can be accommodated by the furniture you intend to use.
It should also be well made - you do not want the furniture to develop rattles and squeaks that will ruin recordings. Another consideration is the future development of the recording studio. If you intend to add further equipment the furniture should be able to accommodate this expansion.
Does this mean that you will need to spend an enormous amount of money on furniture? Actually, you can often acquire decent furniture for very fair prices. Consider buying used rather than brand new furniture. Try using established online retailers and auction sites. All you need to do is shop around and you are sure to find a great seller that does not ridiculously overcharge for their high quality recording studio furniture.

When it hits, it comes like a hurricane. And that is interesting to say about something that occurs on the inside of your home. We are talking about a Subterranean Termite swarm in Lancaster PA of course. You may even react like it is a hurricane, except you may run to find the can of bug spray instead of running to hide.
When flying termites enter your home, your reaction will be typical, until you learn that the flying termites, or "termite swarmers" as they are called, are only alerting you to a much bigger problem. The bigger problem is that the termites in your Lancaster home that you are seeing, are not the ones that you need to be afraid of. It is the termite workers that you cannot see that are actually "eating you out of house and home." I know that is not a comforting thought, but now at least you know and have found out; it can go years and years before detecting a termite infestation which translates into damage and dollars.
Let us talk about what you should really be concerned with now, and where you should look for termites to be working on your home. The most common areas in a Lancaster PA home where termites can be found is the basement sill. If you live on a slab, you might find them in the baseboards or cabinets. In either event, you may recognize the activity by finding termite shelter tubes or mud tunnels and some refer to. Also, you may find wood damage from the Subterranean Termites
If you find shelter tubes, know that they are the highway for the termites to get in and out of your house. You may not want to disturb the tubes until you get a professional termite control company. A trained termite company technician will know if the tubes are active and full of termites by "probing" the wood or by breaking the tubes. It is best to let a trained termite technician do this.
To control your termites in Lancaster PA, a termite company will need to treat the areas in your home that have termites on the inside, as well as treat the entire perimeter of your home or business. The goal, is to treat the immediate problem (the infestation inside) and the prevent future termite invasion from the perimeter. The better termite companies in Lancaster will treat with a non-repellent transferable termiticide, which acts like a virus to the termite colony and spreads rapidly, killing the whole termite colony within months. This is impressive considering that you could have a million-member colony!
Now that we mentioned where the termiticide goes, let us talk about how it gets there. If you have an outside slab attached to your foundation, it will most likely need to be drilled, about every 12-16 inches. This is to allow the product to flow down to the foundation wall. If you have soil or mulch up against the home, it will be temporarily raked back to allow the product to be trenched along the foundation. As you might guess, this takes a while to perform.
When looking for a good termite control company in Lancaster, make sure that they use a non-repellent transferable termiticide, and have termite technicians with at least ten years of experience; after all, your home is your most important investment!

If you are having a problem getting rid of stink bugs, you are not alone. If you live in anywhere in Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia, and now Lancaster PA, you will need to know how to kill stink bugs. It has become a way of life.
Stink bugs have been introduced to eastern United States about ten years ago. Regrettably, they have come here from Asia. If you ever wondered why you are not able to take fruit on the international flights, now you know. Too bad it was just a matter of time for stink bugs to come.
The good news is that you can get rid of stink bugs! I do not mean that you can eliminate them from your neighborhood, but you can stop them and keep them "dying at the door", so to say. Now the national pest control companies are saying that there is nothing that you can do about getting rid of stink bugs, and that simply just is not true. There are many local pest control companies that have mastered the art of killing the stinkers before they enter your home, which leads into our study of how to get rid of stink bugs.
The key to killing the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug, is to treat the outside of your home with a general spray insecticide that is micro-encapsulated. This means that the "bug spray" has a protective bubble around the active ingredient so it is protected against sunlight and moisture. Most micro-cap insecticides last about 2-3 months, which is longer than anything you may purchase at the hardware store.
When treating for stink bugs with a micro-encapsulated product, it is important to treat all areas on the outside of your home that allow heat to escape. This could be wall or window mounted air conditioners, vents, eaves, attic vents, roof vents, and cracks in walls. On the inside you may want to treat around windows, around the fireplace, and other entry points. Make sure to always follow the label, local and state regulations.
Something that local pest control companies are learning, is that stink bugs have an ability to find heat sources, unlike other bugs. As an example, boxelder beetles will sunbath on the south side of the home and then enter in the fall. Stink bugs, however will not just stick to the south side. They will go anywhere that has heat on the home. That could include going down the chimney! It sounds bizarre, but I see it all the time. As I mentioned before, wall mounted air conditioners will leak heat, the the stink bugs will "huddle" around the compressor unit. And the problem with the roof vents, is that it is a highway right in the attic. Stink bugs love the attic because it gets super hot during the day. In fact, they are not supposed to emerge until June, but if stink bugs were "over-wintering" in your attic, they may even become active in March!
Getting rid of stink bugs is possible, but not easy. The key is prevention. So do not become discouraged, just make sure to treat every three months around the outside of your home, especially in the fall.

• Americans favor allowing gay men and lesbians serving openly 58% to 28% (February 2010 CBS News/New York Times)
• Discharges exceeded 600 every year until 2009 (DADT)
• 22 out of 26 members of NATO allow gays to participate in operations (Wiki)
The navy has had its own share of controversies over the years. Now, it's the don't ask don't tell policy that is making the headlines of major newspapers and news networks all over the world. and it's not just the media conglomerates that are paying attention to this accusation of abuse, it's also human rights activists and family members all wanting to know the truth about what goes on within the confines of the Navy.
Simply put, don't ask, don't tell is a term that refers to the restriction imposed on the United States military from outing their members who want to keep their sexuality discreet and also at the same time, preventing openly gays from joining the military service. When this mandate was created, it was so that the military's reputation would be protected from being tarnished by unacceptable gay behavior.
The don't ask part was directed towards the officers, which essentially disallowed them from conducting any investigations on whether a personnel was gay or lesbian. Unless of course, if that personnel in question was exhibiting questionable behavior that affected their military capabilities, then that would be the only time that he or she would be subjected to investigation. It seemed like a foolproof policy that would help protect both camps in the long run, but unfortunately it hasn't worked out that way.
For many years, many ex servicemen have come out with their stories of the rampant abuse they experienced in the hands of the military, but it wasn't until Joseph Rocha came forward that the navy officials and the government started to really notice. Rocha shares that during his brief stint as a dog trainer for the Navy in Bahrain, he has been subjected to long hours of torture and humiliation instigated by his superiors and fellow sailors for being gay. The don't ask, don't tell policy which was supposed to protect him became the main and foremost reason for his abuse. Months of emotional and physical torture finally got to him and he decided to finally resign from his post, on the grounds of his sexual preference. From then on, his case attracted media attention. And a navy probe as well.
It's no surprise that this policy has fueled countless debates on whether gays and lesbians should be allowed into military service in the first place and if they are actually protected by it, considering that a few murders have happened because of this policy. A lot of loopholes and inconsistencies have been discovered in the original policy that lead to many human rights activists starting to question its credibility. The tension has dramatically escalated that an advocacy organization was created in order to support the thousands of service members that have been discharged because of this policy.
To date, navy officials and the pentagon are still in the process of studying the policy and looking for ways that the Obama administration will be able to deal with years of abuse and humiliation brought by the don't ask don't tell policy.

Article Title: Why Your Business May Need A Merchant Cash Advance

It is tough to keep a small business operating normally when customers have tightened up on the money belt. People are not spending as much, and businesses are feeling the pinch. So how do you keep the business doors opened when the cash flow is low? How do you financially cover operating costs? What about expansion costs? If your business is ready for growth, how do you fund it without cash? The best option for any business is a merchant cash advance.
Why Not a Traditional Business Loan
A merchant cash advance is different from a traditional small business loan. With a traditional small business loan there are many concerns. For instance, how will your business survive during a recession while waiting to hear if you qualify or not? What if you need the cash fast and the loan application process takes longer than a few days? What shall you use for financing in the meantime? With a merchant cash advance, these issues are eliminated from the scenario. The application process is quick and the money is in your hands within 72 hours.
How Do You Pay Back a Merchant Cash Advance
In addition, the repayment of the cash advance provides opportunity for you to catch up on bills. There is no set payment schedule. The reimbursement is handled through a percentage of credit card transactions. For example, if you have a productive day and customers are paying with cash, check, money orders, and credit cards, then the repayment handling is via the credit card receipts only. This leaves you with profit earnings from the other forms of payments received that day. Thus, the profits will still be able to contribute to paying salaries, bills, rent, and office supplies. It ensures your business does not skip a beat. On the other hand, if you were in the midst of a small business loan, you would be forced to pay regardless if you made money that day or not. There is no discrete scale based upon performance offered for repayments. You are stuck paying a specific amount at a certain date no matter what. It is a problem for it could cause you to be strapped for cash forcing business aspects to fall apart. A merchant cash advance prevents this situation from forming.
What are the Qualifications
A business cash advance is designed to assist with business necessities and provide money needed to continue to earn profits. There is no collateral required meaning there is no reason to stress over what if you lose the building, office equipment, warehouse and/or inventory. Your business and personal belongings stay intact. There is danger in losing your possessions if you were to choose a small business loan.
The main requirements for a business cash advance are to meet a certain amount of credit card transactions, since this is the form of repayment; to have been in business with credit report history for at least 12 months; and to be free of any bankruptcy issues.

No person could deny how important eating is to survive. Food provides the energy for us to get through life and fulfil our responsibilities in society. What most people fail to realize, however, is the importance of the nutrients found in our food.
Our diet—the types of food we eat—has a direct impact on our overall state of wellness. Countless studies have shown how a nutrient-poor diet is related to the incidence or risk of various ailments. Keeping this in mind, it is crucial to think about our daily choices of food and assess our state of health.
To know what a "healthy diet" is, read on for the fundamentals of healthy eating.
What is a "Healthy Diet"?
You must have read the phrase "healthy diet" a handful of times, but what does it really involve? You might be confused at first because there are a lot of connotations attached to this term. What you need to remember is that a "healthy diet" includes a good balance of all the nutrients that your body uses to work effectively.
A "healthy diet" would often mean the daily consumption of around three meals and two snacks. It should also be balanced, in the sense that it includes something from each of the food groups. This practice allows for the maximum recommended intake of essential vitamins and minerals that build and strengthen the body's organs. If you feel that your diet lacks certain nutrients, you are free to take supplements such as Sytropin, GHR1000 or Genf20 Plus HGH in order to compensate for that deficiency.
Finally, healthy eating would involve cutting down on foods that contain high levels of saturated or trans fats, salt, sugar, caffeine, and other potentially harmful substances.
"You are what you eat"
There is an old saying that goes "You are what you eat". If you eat healthful foods at the right intervals, at the right amounts, you have a better chance of staying healthy than a person who does the opposite.
Keep in mind that your diet has a direct bearing on your physical, mental, emotional, and even sexual health. Eating healthy boosts your immunity, allows you to lead an active lifestyle, improves your energy levels, brightens your mood, and (ladies, listen!) keeps your body weight at an attractive range.
In addition to that, a healthy diet has been confirmed to lower the chances of acquiring cancer, heart ailments, diabetes, osteoporosis, and even common colds, among many other illnesses.
Stock up on Nutrients
If you regularly stick to a "healthy diet", you are almost certain to have all the essential nutrients that your body needs. Foremost of these is water, which accounts for about half of your body weight. Water helps remove waste products while supplying cells with energy.
We all know (and many dread) about carbohydrates, which provide our body's energy demands, letting you walk, talk, blink, and all those basic movements. Another dreaded nutrient is fat. There is a misconception that fat is ugly, harmful, and should be avoided. The truth is, fat is indispensable for it serves as the fuel whenever you use your brain and muscles.
Speaking of muscles, bodybuilders are well aware of the importance of protein, which aids in building and healing active muscles and tissues. And who could forget about vitamins and minerals, which almost always come in tandem? Vitamins, which the body could not produce by itself, aid in the control of various chemical processes. Minerals, meanwhile, help in the creation and maintenance of different body organs.
Last but not the least, electrolytes aid in the normal functioning of cells by maintaining the right pressure within them. They keep us from getting dehydrated.

Article Title: Choosing the Best One Piece Swimsuit For Swimming

There used to be a time that a one piece swimsuit would be a seasonal item that would bring to mind the beginning of summer days.
This is no longer the case. With the ability to take more affordable holidays down South, living in complexes with indoor pools and just the increased availability of public pools it means having classy swimwear as part of the year round wardrobe.
With all the choices of being able to enjoy the sport of swimming it also means making some wise choices in the type of swimming attire that you are going to choose. Your choice should be primarily for the purpose that the swimsuit will be worn for most.
Meaning that if you are an avid swimmer then you are going to be making certain demands on your bathing suit more so than if it is for mostly lounging around the pool. That doesn't mean that you can't have swimwear that is great for both, but for swimming activities you might find that the one piece swimsuit may be the best choice. In this event here are some things you will want to consider when shopping for one piece swimsuits.
Ease of movement
There is not only a lot of movement when swimming but a variety of movements as well. So you are going to want any of the swimsuits that will allow you good movement. This is where the material of the swimsuit will be important to you. Although most swimwear is designed with materials that allow for stretch you may want to choose a swimsuit that contains a higher quantity of Lycra as it really allows for smooth movement.
Proper straps
One may think that if the one piece swimsuit has good stretch then the straps won't be that important but in fact they are. Improper straps can hinder the arm movement and the way the bathing suit fits in general. Shoestring straps have a tendency to come undone easily with a lot of movement so they are not a great choice. This leaves room for the wider straps but again they must fit properly so they are not digging into the skin.
Proper length
Aside from having the proper material you still have to be sure that the one piece swimsuit is the proper length for you. When it comes to height some people have longer legs and a shorter torso and vice versa. So you have to pay particular attention to your body length especially when choosing one piece swimwear. You want it so when you are standing with proper posture that it is not binding or sagging anywhere. The same applies when you stretch or bend. The swimsuit should move with you easily.
Although there are lots of great benefits to wearing the one piece swimwear for those that enjoy swimming that doesn't mean that two piece or bikinis can't be worn for the same activity. In addition to this just because it's a one piece swimsuit that you are opting for it doesn't mean that it can't be alluring and bring out your best features. It all hinges on making the right choice.

Article Title: Tankini Swimsuits Meets All the Swimwear Needs

Quite often individuals who are in need of a swimsuit don't give much thought to the Tankini swimsuit because they think that they are for the "hourglass" figures only. This couldn't be further from the truth.
Tankini swimsuits can be the perfect solution for camouflaging the flaws that most women are concerned about when it comes time to put on the swimwear. Yet at the same time, this particular swimwear has the ability to bring the best out in a woman's figure without having to make sacrifices in other areas of the style.
A little extra coverage
Women who tend to have a stomach bulge often don't feel comfortable in either a full piece bathing suit or a two piece and certainly not a bikini. This is where the Tankini swimsuit offers the perfect solution. It offers more coverage than any of the other types of swimwear yet is not so baggy that it looks unfashionable.
Skins imperfections and scars
Many women are self-conscious about their skin when it comes to swimwear. They may have stomach scarring or stretch marks, for example. This is another place where choosing the Tankini swimsuit is the right choice.
Extra protection against the sun
There is not anyone that is exempt from the dangers that too much UV exposure can create. Purchasing a Tankini swimsuit that is made with good lightweight UV resistant; materials can go a long way in helping to protect the areas of the skin where it is difficult to apply UV protection.
These are some of the great camouflages and preventatives that the Tankini swimsuits can offer, but they do much more than this. They have the ability to enhance a woman's best features if the right one is chosen.
Bringing out the best in the upper body
If a woman's best attribute is her upper body then she can really enhance this area by selecting Tankini swimwear that flatters the area with a deep neckline and removable straps perhaps. Add to this some of the beautiful embellishments such as silver and gold buckles that some of them adorn and you have a woman that is bound to make a swimwear fashion statement.
Bringing out the best in the lower body
What makes the woman's body so intriguing are the subtle differences that are unique to every individual. This makes picking out Tankini swimwear fun and exciting because there seems to be a suit just perfect for every individual even though everyone is different. For ladies with the perfect thighs there are plenty of Tankini bottoms to choose from to enhance them. Then for those with long lanky legs there is a good selection of Tankini swimsuits that are going to create the look of a perfectly balanced body.
Combine all the benefits and features of the Tankini swimwear and then enhance these with the multitude of colors that are available. There is not much more one could find in swimwear that would be needed to bring the best out and camouflage the worse.

Yes, you've heard it before "Anyone can paint" and that is true. It does not depend on inherent talent but developing artistic skills. This takes time to go through the learning curve to fine tune these skills where you can emerge as a professional. However, painting a portrait and painting an abstract requires a different set of skills. Getting a likeness is not easy and requires total focus on the sitter whereas painting a landscape you can get away with murder – and it will look beautiful.
To be a professional landscape painter requires a basic study of perspective and that includes not only how things disappear in the distance but also very important is aerial perspective. Why? Because it gives a "feeling" to a painting or, in other words, an emotional quality.
What does a beginner need to know? You have this white canvas in front of you and behind that you can see this beautiful landscape. Very intimidating eh? To start a landscape painting remember "the rule of three" where your canvas is divided into three both horizontally and vertically. Where your vertical lines cross the horizontal, this is where you place your focal point in the picture.
So you now have the sky which can be either one third or two thirds. Never place a skyline exactly in the center of the canvas—or anything right in the middle. This is step number one.
Step Two:
Knock the pristine white canvas out with broad brushstrokes of gray. You cannot evaluate the correct values (the lightness or darkness of a color) when a color falls adjacent to white.
Step Three:
You do not want to "see" leaves or grass but only the very broad masses of the scene in front of you. So how do you eliminate all this detail? It's quite easy. You half close your eyes or squint until you only see a blur—a broad mass of shapes with no detail. Paint these very broad masses in with a LARGE brush. You will fiddle with detail if you use a small brush. At this stage you only paint in the broad masses, nothing else.
OK. Step Four:
Once all the broad masses are in place—that's the sky and foreground, stand back from your canvas about 30 feet, yes, 30 feet. Squint your eyes again then take a peek at your canvas with eyes wide open then--back again to the landscape, squinting. You will be able to evaluate if your proportions are about right. They do not have to be accurate; just a broad mass of two or three colors.
Step Five
In your landscape do you see foothills, a group of trees, a river, clumps of rocks or anything other than the sky or foreground mass? Any or all of these will be your secondary mass, take careful note of the tone values! Squint again and paint them as you see and "feel" them; then take a step back about 30 feet and evaluate then change as needed. The important thing is VALUE, not color; it's the value in relationship to all other individual masses on the canvas. This can't be stressed enough!
Step Six
If you feel happy with your results, check for any tertiary things on your landscape. They can be farmhouse buildings, small bright shrubs, farm animals, flowers close-up or even people in the distance. Paint these in as you see them. Take note of the preceding steps where you half close your eyes to do a correct evaluation of your values. Your highest contrast is always on the third point you have marked on your canvas--where the darkest color (black if you like) meets the lightest (white) or the brightest colors against a dark color.
These basics must be known cold:
1) The basics of painting a landscape is not to fiddle with detail; broad strokes with a large brush (size 10 – 12) works best.
2) Use a limited pallet of six colors and your painting will not look muddy.
3) Never make any two intervals the same, for example, dividing your skyline and foreground exactly halfway.
4) Balance your shapes; don't have a large form on one side of your landscape.
5) Lead the viewer's eye into your painting from soft edges of forms to your focal point.
6) Divide your canvas up into three; it makes for a dynamic composition.
7) Color is less important than tonal values.
8) You can create a dynamic landscape painting using only grays.
These are the basics of landscape painting.
Once these are known you are on your way to being a professional landscape painter.

Article Title: BurglarGARD™ Glass Protection Helps Protect Home and Business Owners From Violent Thieves and Vandals

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
Applied directly to the glass, BurglarGARD works like an invisible coat of armor, strengthening the home's or business' "weakest security link" — the glass – thus working as a deterrent to break-ins.
BurglarGARD adheres to the interior side of the window. The high strength, optically clear or tinted polyester material makes the glass significantly stronger and virtually impenetrable to the most violent of blows. The film is virtually undetectable to the human eye and will not alter the appearance of the windows in any way.
BurglarGARD can provide a significant improvement over standard or tempered treated glass in its ability to withstand an attack from weapons such as a baseball bat, flying rock or even the occasional stray golf ball. While a criminal may muster enough force to shatter the window, it will require repeated and attention getting blows to break through the virtually impenetrable film. Most burglars won't risk the time needed to break through, and will abandon the attempted burglary.
That's good news for homeowners! According to the FBI's Unified Crime Report, almost 70 percent of all burglaries involved forced entry through a window or door. As has recently been the case in the US where there have been a rash of violent home invasions – unprotected windows pose a significant threat to virtually every home's security.
"We all know that an alarm system is a critical part of any business or residential security plan," said Jordan Frankel CEO and founder of ShatterGARD Inc., a leader in the security products industry and a security expert providing onsite commercial and residential security assessments. "But generally speaking, an alarm sounds only after penetration has already occurred. BurglarGARD was designed to stop a would-be intruder in their tracks by reducing the likelihood of window penetration."
Alarm Systems: During a majority of break-ins, burglars gain access to the home through unlocked doors or windows. In addition, many homeowners forget to set their security system. While making sure to lock the doors and set the alarm are the foremost priority in securing any home, homeowners do have other precautions they can take.
Alarm systems should be connected directly to the alarm company's central monitoring station, which can alert law enforcement if the alarm is triggered.
Installing a back-up cellular dialer in case a burglar cuts the power or the standard phone lines enables the system to still contact the monitoring station.
Alarm systems which incorporate motion sensors and/or glass break sensors can help first responders and residents know if an intruder has actually gained access to the premise.
Displaying the signage provided by the alarm company serves as an initial deterrent for thieves.
Making sure the alarm system's central panel is located in a locked cabinet or an indoor utility room prevents would-be invaders from tampering with the system.
Lighting: Sufficient lighting, both internal and external, can help deter thieves from even targeting a home. Burglars typically select a poorly lit home, as darkness affords additional cover from watchful neighbors or passers-by.
Motion detection lighting alone only activates once a thief's movement is detected; installing low-wattage dusk-till-dawn light fixtures, which emit a soft glow around the perimeter of the home all night, insures that thieves cannot conceal themselves in the shadows. The addition of sensors that shut off the lights when the sun rises and energy saving fluorescent or sodium-type light bulbs makes this an affordable and effective light deterrent.
Using basic timers for interior lamps set to alternating times, gives the appearance of movement throughout the house while it is unattended.
Doors and Windows: With some very simple window and door locking systems, homeowners can drastically restrict the accessibility of their home. With recent advances in locking mechanisms, some additional alternatives are also available to today's homeowner.
Installing window locks on all ground floor windows prevents the window from being opened far enough for someone to fit through.
The addition of a simple closet rod to the track of sliding glass doors provides reinforcement to the standard lock.
Biometric locks, which provide access by scanning a finger print, have become much more affordable lately and can prevent lost or stolen keys from being used by burglars.
Windows – The glass in windows and doors can very often be a point of weakness as well. Security window films are affordable, and can provide an extra layer of defense from thieves attempting to smash a window to gain access to the home. While a burglar may be able to muster enough force to eventually smash the window, the repeated attempts require a lot of attention-grabbing blows. Assuring the home has proper doors made from solid wood or metal, rather than a hollow-core style, along with 3.5 inch long steel screws to fasten the hinges to the door frame, will stand up to most breach attempts.
The ability to see the outside of an exterior door is also very important. If an abutting window cannot provide a view of the doorstep before opening it, a peep hold can easily be installed.
Landscaping: Believe it or not, appropriate landscaping can help deter intruders from accessing windows, while maintaining an aesthetic appeal.
Keeping trees and bushes trimmed back from the house and windows helps diminish the likelihood of an intruder using the shrubs as cover. Tree limbs should also be trimmed, to prevent an intruder from using a tree to access a second story entry point. Planting low-growing sharp or thorny bushes such as holly, rose shrub, or barberry under windows, or adding gravel or landscape rock which makes for noisy footing, are also good ways to deter thieves from attempting to gain access to windows.
Secure the Garage: Garages are favorite targets for thieves, not only because they are often unoccupied, but because they often offer a direct and unlocked entry to the remainder of the home. A few simple countermeasures can help greatly deter an intruder's ability to access the garage.
Always keep the garage door closed; an empty garage or a missing vehicle can alert thieves that the home is unattended. Change the factory set codes on the door's remote control often, so thieves cannot open the door with a store bought remote.
Adding motion and glass break sensors to all windows in the garage will also provide added warning of an attempted break-in.
Have an Escape Plan: If someone in the household can break away and call for help, the home invaders will have lost their advantages privacy and time. To some, running away from your family in crisis would be almost unbearable. However, the alternative might mean being tied-up or violently incapacitated and left to watch in horror as your family is injured or worse. If you have a plan for escaping, make sure you include where to run and what to say. Sometimes a radical escape measure pays off, in life and death circumstances,
Thugs will sometimes threaten harm to children to get adults to comply with their demands. But at the same time, children are often overlooked as potential rescuers and are usually not well guarded. If the opportunity presents itself, a trained child can dial 911, activate an alarm panic button, or escape to the neighbor's house to summon the police.

Beauty is the most misjudged reason that takes responsibility for being the culprit behind several affairs that exist in this world right now! A Woman in general has a misconception that only beauty is the crucial cause for her husband to run behind an anonymous woman. Partially true, I would say! But what makes this partially right? Men crave for admiration and when it is showcased at the highest degree they go after it blindfolded.
Can you guess what would be the crucial reality, which has made beauty a partially true option behind men involving in affairs? For those who guessed here comes applause! For those who failed I pity your ignorance of certain subtleties pertinent to your marriage life. Yes ADMIRATION is the buzzword! Now you realize that this is the word you heard people talk about and you have only heard them talk! That's it! Think whether have you admired your husband for several trivial things that he did?
It might seem trivial from your standpoint but what did your husband find that thing as? Did he value it so much? Then he should have got disappointed when you didn't really admire him for that thing, right? Several questions like this may encircle your mind now! Don't panic! We can find answers to all these questions soon! After all, you should try your level best to find answers for these questions if you have a real intention to get your ex back!
I have clearly emphasized the value husbands dedicate to admiration over beauty since they want to taste what their marriage life doesn't bring to them. They are clear in identifying what their marriage life is devoid of and where to search for it! You as a counter argument may say that the ones involved in affairs are behind lust, sexual craving and physical orientation!
I wouldn't negate your vindication as it has got substance. But where does the intention to develop lust for another woman begin? I admit certain husbands are behind sex but only a few of the population who have affairs! So where do the remaining count fall under? They come under the category of people who have developed more interest in other woman due to the fact that they get admired and esteemed much more than what they experience at home!
Therefore, having understood that admiration is the ultimate reason behind husbands deserting the wives, you must find a way out of the current distress you are in should you need your husband back! I suggest that you follow the pointers I have provided you in the paragraph given below if you need to regain your ex!
* Admire your husband more than ever! Make him understand that he deserves admiration and it was you who had erred by not respecting him at situations he needed to be awed. By admitting you were careless in admiring him you might get a twofold benefit.
** He would start admiring you for your candidness!
** In turn the love he has for you gets doubled! As in my book of relationship-maths admiration = love!
* Make him understand that your failure to admire him doesn't mean that you are not happy with him! Tell your husband you need him whatever be the case!
* Finally make opportunities to express your admiration for him. Be frank whenever necessary and don't inhibit yourself! Love gets divine only when expressed and not when deduced! Because once your love id deduced rather than expressed the person who deduces loses it's original taste!
I believe you would slot in these pointers into your daily life to gain your husband back as soon as possible because you have got less time to admire but more patch-up work to be done!

"Admiration" might seem as an inconsequential word to you but your husband might behold it with his eyeball dilated! After all, the thing, which many couples complain as to taking them to a sore married life, is the approach they have towards quite a lot of aspects of marriage life! Who knows? The exact reason why your husband ditched you might be due to the attitude you showed by underrating the word "admiration" from the instant you got married up till now---when you find yourselves deserted! I think I have been on the surface till now and hence I would get deeper into it by delving into the crux of the word "admiration"!
I understand how you would feel after knowing your husband is not the same person he used to be, anymore. But did you, at any point of time, give it a thought pondering on what made him alter his outlook to this marriage life and why has he changed? Well, I would say your attitude to take things for granted in certain trivial cases might have been a root cause for this issue! Admiration is a term every human in this world loves experiencing and husbands don't act indifferent to this, I must acknowledge!
Generally speaking, husbands have a propensity to expect their wives to show more admiration for them however when their wives fail to do so, they give room for a thin layer of crack to crop up! It would have been awesome had you attended to that issue when the crack started to widen but now that you have understood where your problem is, I am quite sure that you would get to terms with your disinterested husband at the soonest!
Say your husband loves to be admired and he keeps doing favorable things to those who never fuss over admiring him. What if he, to his dismay, sees you not admiring him? Won't he begin to think about why you are distinct in not admiring him, as you are the person who is supposed to admire him to the core! By admiration, I don't refer to praising him artificially! The respect a husband deserves is something important for keeping a marriage up and running! I reckon you should know this being a wife!
I have seen several successful couples over the years since I got to know more people! The love they share for each other is on par with the admiration they exchange! Mutual exchange of admirable feelings is indeed divine! Had you loved your husband really? By this time you would shed a droplet of tear at least asking yourselves "why the heck you failed to admire him?" I appreciate this since you have come to the course that would lead you on your mission to get your husband back! There might have been certain reasons on which you literally downplayed the degree of worth, admiration deserves in your case as far as your marriage life is concerned.
So as a means to get your ex back in your life, I suggest that you inculcate a habit to admire him. You would do so if you really have the urge in you to win your husband back. It is not going to be difficult to you since you are now determined and much more meticulous than you were before.
* Never fail to make use of an instant that you perhaps may use to convey your admiration for your husband.
* Start liking whatever he does even if he annoys you! I know it is difficult but still look at his measures to annoy you as a romantic torture!

Yeah I understand it pricks when you don't find your husband beside you! But why did your husband depart? Have you ever asked yourself? Once you are able to answer this question you wont find any hassle in finding a pertinent solution to claim your ex back!
Usually men are poor at giving reasons when they are questioned about their disinterest towards marriage life. It is not that they don't have proper reasons to put across but still they seem to act bizarre in coming up with a convincing reason! However, no reason that they state can convince you since you wouldn't have seen that reason to be the root cause of a problem that has made you stand here reading this article all alone! This is what I refer to as a gap that you allowed to widen unconsciously.
However, looking at the picture in a broader perspective I can easily make out why husbands leave their wives for another woman? You may argue that the 6- lettered BEAUTY is the apposite answer to this question! I would like to cite several instances I have seen personally in which husbands have ditched their gorgeous and voluptuous wives for women who were inferior to their wives in beauty! So beauty is not the ultimate thing!
But the polls and stats give a different picture! These polls suggest that lack of admiration for husband is the main culprit working behind the scenes to stage a play of departure between the couples! Have you ever wondered this to be the top reason for which husbands go away from their beloved wives? No, right! Men yearn for admiration in general however when it comes from the wife's end they fly above the moon!
Now you might ponder like " No way! My husband had never said that to me! He never wanted me to admire him and if he had actually then he would have told me straight-out"! Women go wrong there! Men are poor express-ors of feelings especially when it involves some aspects of their pride! Only some men are unique to put across this sort of emotions! The ones, who can't, simply look for other women who can actually have them soothed, solaced and most significantly admired! I presume you have recognized what you lacked. So shall we get down to this and start pondering on the options you have got to win your husband back!
* First up, you should make yourselves prepared to walk on your road to recovery! You should understand what does admiration mean to your husband. Put differently, you should try to make out what you lacked, so what you should infuse into your marriage life so as to win your husband back!
* Secondly, you must not grow haughty and grumpy over you husband for he having gone to another woman! You have to clearly understand that he is not after blonde hair or succulent skin but worthy admiration!
* Resurrect the feeling of intimacy your husband misjudged, as you never showed! Put a strong and unshakeable foundation of emotional bondage in your husband so that he never puts another woman in your place.
* Ultimately, you should make your husband sense that you are the only thing in his life that doesn't deserve replacement whatsoever. You can instill this sort of emotion only if you get bound to him by pure love, which starts to ooze when you both exchange mutual admiration for one another!
I am definite that once you cognize the worth of admiration you would stop complaining your husband's act and start advancing towards the road to exotic romance!

This idea of association with amazon.com generated in 1996 and when a person opted for such offers, Amazon rewarded them for linking their services with them. This meant that you publicized Amazon's products on your blogs or websites and get 10% of the cost that they made. An example would be promoting a handbag on your website and if that bag is sold through your website then you could get around $20-30 of the price.
The whole idea continues on the basis of you giving Amazon.com traffic via your website and this is done by linking the product in you're your website from where ever it lies on the site. This way, Amazon tracks the sales that are made through your blog and gives you the money for it. The way they pay you depends on your choice; it could be either by checks or by amazon.com gift cards. Many advantages follow such a network such as being able to have your own store by being an Amazon Affiliate. This is possible as you are listing their products but getting part of the price as well. Many people try to make money online through websites and Amazon.com gives you the opportunity to do just that.
However, there need to be a few techniques that you should be aware of in order to be a successful site owner that sells or promotes products and services that Amazon.com has. Search Engine Marketing is the name that you give to the strategies that you use when wanting to develop a long internet life by making others feel your presence as well.
The foremost thing to learn is the Search Engine Optimization that means that your websites name comes in at least the top ten sites when searched for. Other options include Pay Per Click marketing that means that search engines such as Yahoo take money in order to make sure that your site's name is amongst the most visible when searched for certain products.
Other factors that are included in the generation of sales are your website design that means that your site should be presentable and professional in order to make people believe that you are authentic and not a fraud waiting for them to click on. You do not need to be a professional at this but just need to have the right keywords so that your site's name appears on result pages and your site gains popularity.
Link Building is yet another technique that one can learn that revolved around being the most visited site on Google because of the Page Rank that you have. Link building deals with making links via submission of articles, joint links and other opportunities like social bookmarking.
The most important thing to be aware of is to make sure that you make your site look as original and real as possible since fraud is being committed on regular basis now and buyers are a lot more cautious and hesitant to buy anything off just any site. Earn and maintain your web respect!

Article Title: Five Levels of Estate Planning

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
The five levels of estate planning is a systematic approach for explaining estate planning in a way that you can easily follow. Which of the five levels you need to complete is based on your particular objectives and circumstances.
Level One: The Basic Plan
The situation for level one planning is that you have no will or living trust in place, or your existing will or living trust is outdated or inadequate. The objectives for this type of planning are to:
•reduce or eliminate estate taxes;
•avoid the cost, delays and publicity associated with probate in the event of death or incapacity; and
•protect heirs from their inability, their disability, their creditors and their predators, including ex-spouses.
To accomplish these objectives, you would use a pour-over will, a revocable living trust that allocates a married person's estate between a credit shelter trust and a marital trust, general powers of attorney for financial matters and durable powers of attorney for health care and living wills.
Level Two: The Irrevocable Life Insurance Trust (ILIT)
The situation for level two planning is that your estate is projected to be greater than the estate-tax exemption. While there is a present lapse in the estate and generation-skipping transfer taxes, it's likely that Congress will reinstate both taxes (perhaps even retroactively) some time this year. If not, on January 1, 2011, the estate tax exemption (which was $3.5 million in 2009) becomes $1 million, and the top estate tax rate (which was 45% in 2009) becomes 55%. In any event, you can make cash gifts to an ILIT using your $13,000/$26,000 annual gift-tax exclusion per beneficiary.
Level Three: Family Limited Partnerships
The situation for level three planning is that you have a projected estate-tax liability that exceeds the life insurance purchased in level two. If your $1 million gift-tax exemption ($2 million for married couples) is used to make lifetime gifts, the gifted property and all future appreciation and income on that property are removed from your estate.
More people would be willing to make gifts to their children if they could continue to manage the gifted property. A family limited partnership (FLP) or a family limited liability company (FLLC) can play a valuable role in this situation. You would typically be the general partner or manager and in that capacity, continue to manage the FLP or FLLC's assets. You can even take a reasonable management fee for your services as the general partner or manager. Moreover, by gifting FLP or FLLC interests to an ILIT, the FLP or FLLC's income can be used to pay premiums, thereby freeing up your $13,000 / $26,000 annual gift-tax exclusion for other types of gifts.
Level Four: Qualified Personal Residence Trusts and Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts
The situation for level four planning is the additional need to reduce your estate after your $1 million/$2 million gift-tax exemption has been used. Although paying gift taxes is less expensive than paying estate taxes, most people do not want to pay gift taxes. There are several techniques to make substantial gifts to children and grandchildren without paying significant gift taxes.
One technique is a qualified personal residence trust (QPRT). A QPRT allows you to transfer a residence or vacation home to a trust for the benefit of your children, while retaining the right to use the residence for a term of years. By retaining the right to occupy the residence, the value of the remainder interest is reduced, along with the taxable gift.
Another technique is a grantor retained annuity (GRAT). A GRAT is similar to a QPRT. The typical GRAT is funded with income-producing property such as subchapter S stock or FLP or FLLC interests. The GRAT pays you a fixed annuity for a specified term of years. Because of the retained annuity, the gift to the remaindermen (your children) is substantially less than the current value of the property.
Both QPRTs and GRATs can be designed with terms long enough to reduce the value of the remainder interest passing to your children to a nominal amount or even to zero. However, if you do not survive the stated term, the property is included in your estate. Therefore, it is recommended that an ILIT be funded as a "hedge" against your death prior to the end of the stated term.
Level Five: The Zero Estate-Tax Plan
Level five planning is a desire to "disinherit" the IRS. The strategy combines gifts of life insurance with gifts to charity. For example, take a married couple, both age 55, with a $20 million estate. Assume that there is neither growth nor depletion of the assets and that both spouses die in a year when the estate-tax exemption is $3.5 million, and the top estate-tax rate is 45%.
With the typical marital credit shelter trust, when the first spouse dies, $3.5 million is allocated to the credit shelter trust and $16.5 million to the marital trust. No federal estate tax is due. However, at the surviving spouse's death, the estate tax due is $5.85 million. The net result is that the children inherit only $14.15 million.
With the zero estate-tax plan, the ILIT (with generation-skipping provisions) is funded with a $13 million second-to-die life insurance policy. These gifts reduce the estate value to $18 million. In addition, the couple's living trusts each leave $3.5 million (the amount exempt from estate taxes) to their children upon the surviving spouse's death. The balance of their estate ($11 million) passes to a public charity or private foundation—estate-tax free. To summarize, the zero estate-tax plan delivers $20 million (ie, $13 million from the ILIT and $7 million from the living trusts) to the children instead of $14.15 million; the charity receives $11 million instead of nothing; and the IRS receives nothing, instead of $5.85 million.
In summary, with some advanced planning, it is possible to reduce estate taxes, avoid probate, set forth your wishes, and protect your heirs from creditors, ex-spouses and estate taxes.
