For many years, stainless steel has been used as the metal of choice for watchmakers. It's well known ability to withstand corrosion and maintain strength has long since been popular in accessories that tell time. Now, this classic metal is often used to symbolize it. Men's stainless steel wedding bands have become widely popular, in part, due to the fact that this durable metal is also easy to maintain.

When it comes to men's stainless steel wedding bands, many often look for a way to personalize their special token. Despite its strength, some jewelers can engrave stainless steel. It is a good idea to check with several jewelers to ensure their engraving capabilities, and also to compare pricing on their service.

Once you have searched through the selection of men's stainless steel wedding bands from your favorite retailer, you may wish to consider the following possibilities for engraving:

Religious Verse - Many couples celebrate their love for one another and of their faith by engraving a special religious verse onto the inside of their wedding bands.

Wedding Date - Personalizing men's stainless steel wedding bands can be done by inscribing the actual wedding date. Depending on the width and available space, it may be possible to write out the date in lettering (ex. February 14, 2009). For those with limited space, a numerical inscription of the date (ex. 2/14/09) will be just as nice.

Bride & Groom Name - Many couples enjoy having their names inscribed into their wedding bands. Men's stainless steel wedding bands not only offer sentimental value with this type of inscription, but it also helps to ensure a proper return should the ring ever become lost.

Special Message - Whether it's a meaningful sentence, song name or just a brief wording, inscribing men's stainless steel wedding bands with a special message is a great idea. From "I love you" to "Forever", the possibilities are endless when it comes to personalization.

Initials - Depending on the size and width of the ring, it may not always be possible to inscribe men's stainless steel wedding bands with anything more than the initials of the bride and groom. This is not only a nice way to customize a wedding band, but it's also ideal for the designs that provide only minimal engraving space.

When it comes to personalizing wedding bands, there are a sea of potential phrases that could bring great joy to the wearer. Because each couple has a special date, song, phrase, nickname or other notation that brings a smile to their heart, the best way to personalize a wedding band is to choose a word or phrase that has great meaning within the relationship.

If you have not yet found the perfect choice in men's stainless steel wedding bands, consider shopping online for a larger selection that you may not otherwise find at a local jeweler. Because of their capability to reach so many customers, many online jewelry retailers offer a wide selection of wedding bands in a variety of metal choices. Stainless steel is durable, resistant to corrosion and easy to maintain, all of which make it an ideal choice for wedding rings.

One of the most important things that you need to do if you are thinking about working from home is to plan as much as you possibly can in advance. How will you earn the money? Where will you find work and clients? What hours will you work? How will you keep up with paperwork? All these questions are relevant and pertinent and you need to know the answers to all of them. But there is only so much planning you can do, and whatever you think working from home will be like there is only one way to find out for sure – and that's to actually do it.

As such it pays to be flexible when you start working from home so that you can adjust your course if necessary. This is particularly true during the very early days when you will find out just what is involved in your own particular situation. For example some jobs may take longer than you thought they would; there may be more distractions than you were bargaining for or your planned timetable may not work out as well as you had hoped it would. This is where being flexible really helps. At the end of each day, look back on what you have achieved that day and have a ten minute meeting with yourself. This might sound a bit odd but it can actually enable you to move forward and achieve better results in the future.

Having this piece of time set aside means that you can identify what is working for you and what isn't. You can also make plans for the following day so you can get started quickly the next morning. Knowing what you have planned ahead of time is the best way to make sure that your home business gets more efficient as time goes on. If you don't make plans like this you might fail to spot problems in their early stages; this doesn't bode well for the future.

The important thing to remember is not to plan a home business that is set in stone. Nothing stays the same forever and if you are too rigid with your planning you might not be able to deal with unexpected problems or be able to take advantage of new opportunities as and when they present themselves. It is likely that you have spent months building up to starting to work completely from home, but it is also likely that the best laid plans can be knocked askew when you actually experience what working from home is really like. The most successful home workers will tell you that nothing can really prepare you for the actual experience. You should prepare and you should know all you possibly can before the event, but don't assume this will mean you can breeze through a life of working from home without any adjustments to your plans at all. As said before, be flexible and expect the unexpected.

In short, those early days of preparation can get you on the right track for the future, or they can knock you off track if you prepare and plan badly.

By definition, a chandelier is a decoration that hangs with multiple branched features. An earring, on the other hand, is a decoration for the ear. When you combine the two, what you have is brilliance. In the past, one would typically think of a lighting fixture when they heard "chandelier" mentioned in a sentence. Today, however, it is a word used to describe a beautiful earring style that is both glamorous and fashionable. Chandelier earrings are perfect to be worn during Christmas or at a New Year's Eve celebration, which makes them the featured style for this article on glamorous holiday jewelry.

Chandelier earrings are designed in a variety of styles, including both dainty and bold. Whatever your preference or budget, the perfect fit may not be far away. Thanks to the world wide web, jewelry styles in almost every design imaginable are as close as the nearest computer. Online jewelry retailers are gearing up for the upcoming holiday season, and this means that plenty of sparkle and a whole lot of shine are high on their favorites list.

When it comes to choosing the perfect holiday jewelry, many women first look toward their fashion wardrobe. If you are wearing a turtleneck sweater or dress, for example, chandelier earrings will be the perfect accessory to compliment a high neckline. If, on the other hand, you are dressed in your favorite strapless gown, a dangling earring will give you just the right amount of presence. Even after the holidays are over, this earring will continue to be strong as many now consider it a must-have accessory to be worn with any hair style and any outfit during any season of the year.

If you are planning to shop for chandelier earrings, now is the time to start browsing. As the holidays approach, everyone will be stocking up on great gift ideas and also shopping for themselves as they begin to plan their wardrobe for family gatherings, Christmas parties and New Year's Eve celebrations. If you're shopping for a style that's known to be popular during the holiday season, it's always a good idea to buy early for the best selection.

Speaking of holiday jewelry, many enjoy the beauty of cubic zirconia when shopping for new designs. This created stone is made to resemble a flawless diamond, and offers brilliant clarity. When you factor in the affordability, there is simply no reason not to own cubic zirconia jewelry. If you arenít sure which metal to choose, consider the possibility of sterling silver. The icy backdrop and highly reflective nature of sterling silver, which is recognized as a precious metal, is a perfect match to the eye clean clarity of cubic zirconia.

Everything sparkles during the holidays, including the decorative lights, the beautiful gift wrap and even the eyes of a child. But there's also something else that sparkles, and that is the beauty of a quality piece of jewelry. When it comes to glamorous holiday jewelry, you cannot go wrong with chandelier earrings. They dangle, they shine and they are certainly beautiful.

A web design company, an advertising agency and a software vendor walk into a client's office. The client asks, "How often should we redesign our site?" The agency replies "two years." The software guy says "three years." The website designer says…

This isn'ta joke. I was actually in this meeting. There were eight people from three companies in a conference room and another two more people from another company on speakerphone. My answer at the time was four years, based on that business and their industry. Since then I've thought more about the question and the factors that determine the answer.

What is the lifespan of a typical website?

My short answer is 2-5 years, but that's a pretty big range. Most experts would just say "it depends." But what does it depend on? Here we'll look at the reasons why a site lives a long happy life, or if it gets old fast.

    Website life expectancy factors

Here are the main factors that I'll breakdown the factors into two groups: your business and the site itself.

    Your Business

    * Is your business changing fast? Any fundamental changes coming up?

    * Do you run a lot of promotions or events?

    * Are you in a creative or technical industry? Times change faster for some than others.

    * Do your visitors have high expectations? Do you have to show (or teach) them a lot to get through to them?

    Your Site

    * Does the site look narrow on your screen?

    * Is the design "trendy" or cutting edge?

    * Do you rely heavily on search engine traffic?

    * Is the site difficult or costly to update?

The more times you answered "yes" to these questions, the more likely the website life span is closer your website's lifespan is to two years than five years.

    Example One:

Classic design for a non-profit with a nice content management tool and a built-in blog. It's a flexible site for a business that doesn't change too rapidly, for visitors that who are mostly looking for information.

    Lifespan: 5 years

    Example Two:

Contemporary website for an interior design company. The site has a Content Management System but it's not very flexible because the design is more about beauty and impression. Visitors have high expectations and want to be impressed.

    Lifespan: 2.5 years

    Live fast, redesign young.

If the nature of your business puts you on the shorter end of the scale, you may plan on a major redesign in shorter intervals: every 2 years or so. This cycle will guide design and content decisions. A site that is designed to live a shorter life may have more graphical content (charts, infographics, page-specific headers and animation) and more graphic navigation (buttons instead of text, links). In other words, design may be more about presentation power than flexibility and ease of updating.

    Time to pull the plug

Of course, you can keep a website active long after it's outlived it's usefulness. But you risk becoming one of those people who say, "I have a site, but please don't look at it." You've met people like this. They're so embarrassed that the look and content are so out of date, they truly don't want anyone to see their website. At this stage, the website is actually hurting the business. Imagine having a marketing piece that you want to hide from the world!

How to extend your site's lifespan

Now there are ways to take months or even a year off the look of your site*!

    * "Page Injections" – New templates. Maybe you really just need a new landing page design or a better contact page with a form and a map. This targeted procedure can focus on trouble spots where the aging is worst.

    * "Nip and Tuck" – Tighten up the design with a few style-sheet changes. Refining the type (snip, snip) and making a few tweaks to the color palette (snip, snip) can help bring things up to date.

    * "Face Lift" – Home page redesign. This is a slightly more drastic procedure and can actually be a bit pricy.

    * "Flash Lift" – If you have a Flash piece, consider a new animation. This is a surgery-free (no coding) option that can really change the look of your site.

*These techniques were not tested on animals.

    Bottom Line

When you, your business or your visitors change, your website ages. It's old as soon as it's out of sync with your business and is not getting you those measurable results. Keep it as young and fresh as possible, but be ready to make the tough decision to redesign. And when you do, think ahead as far as possible.

Magento is currently the world's fastest-growing e-commerce platform and it is now used by 30,000 merchants. It has over 2000 extensions available and has been downloaded over 1.5 million times.

There is an enterprise edition and a free community open source edition that has an incredible array of features. Perhaps one of Magento's best features is the ability to run multiple e-commerce stores from one admin area.

One of its other main benefits is a one-page checkout with the ability to ship products to multiple addresses.

You have the option of having one store selling lots of different products and then creating a store for each niche. So for example, if you have a store selling pool tables, table tennis tables, air hockey tables, you can create a separate store for each, all using the same database.

Magento is also iPhone optimised to allow shoppers to make purchases from your store with their iPhone.

From a customer point of view my Magento also has a wide range of useful features. Customers are able to view their account information including not only the order history, but also to manage the addresses they send items to and to control if they are subscribed to newsletters.

Installing Magento is very easy and some hosting companies such as Hostmonster have a one click install allowing anyone with no technical knowledge to easily get their own store up and running.

A Magento store can easily be made to look stunning with the help of a customised theme and there are several websites with many quality themes available now.

Once you have your Magento e-commerce store is running, another important requirement of course is traffic. Magento has the ability to automatically produce search engine friendly URL s. It also produces a site map to ensure your website has all its pages indexed by the search engines.

You will also have the option of entering Meta information for individual products and categories allowing you to optimise each page for maximum search engine friendliness.

Once you have traffic to your store it is important to be able to analyse statistics and thankfully Magento has several useful reports available including, searched terms used, total sales, best customers, most viewed products and low stock reports.

Magento has also made it easy to use Google website optimizer to split test various elements of pages in the store allowing you to increase your conversion rate.

As Magento has been going for a while now, there is a large community forum evolved to help new users with the many questions they will have.

The company who created Magento e-commerce platform is called Varien and they are based in Los Angeles California. They are a small group of highly motivated e-commerce experts that became frustrated by the other open source shopping cart software available. Consequently they decided to create their own and that is how Magento commerce was born.

So to summarise Magento offers excellent and free e-commerce store software and we highly recommend it.

Rachet and Clank Future - A Crack in Time is the perfect sequel to its previous games. Rachet and Clank have been pals for what seems like forever and this time we actually get to see Clank take a step from the shadows. This game has some new characters mixed with old and contains some new features and ideas that compliment the old style it also carries. With its improved game play and amazingly detailed worlds to explore, this game will have you glued to your TV screen.

While Rachet still has the upper hand as the game progresses, Clank finds his way into mission solving as well. His puzzles are even more challenging with thought provoking puzzles to solve. He has to solve a group of time based puzzles that will try at every thought process that you have.

In order to complete one mission, you have to realize how to make small clones of yourself in order to help you achieve perfect balance on every button. The door will only open when all buttons are pressed at the same time.

Each puzzle is located in a new room with time pads buttons and a locked door. You have to work closely with your other selves in order to achieve the precise timing of button pressing. Rachet`s puzzles are more straight forward and less of a mind boggle.

This game has excellent shooting controls and smooth sailing bullets. If you find yourself being swarmed by bad enemies you can simply take them all down with ease, using the quick response you get from the weapons.

There are loads of weapons to pick from including a shot gun and a sniper. The more enemies that you destroy the quickly you can upgrade your weapons and earn new points.

In the game you will explore worlds and solve puzzles while meeting lots of interesting characters. The characters in the game all have the same humorous tone and your mission will be one of laughter and of an upbeat tone.

In the beginning Caption Quark gives you a general breakdown of the game and of the past, so that you will understand what is happening. It is geared toward new players who have never actually played one of the Racket and Clank video games. It will assist anyone who doesn`t know what some of the terms and names mean.

This particular game is the conclusion to the story that first appeared in Tools of destruction in 2007. The game features a familiar ground while adding its own special highlights and features.

Some issues with the game were minimal. It was noted that at times your character would slam into an invisible wall during jumps and leaps. This only poses a problem if it in some way causes you to die. The only other concern was that the camera doesn`t always follow the player up to speed. So as your character dashes from one place to another, the camera at times needs time to catch up resulting in blurry graphics.

In general the overall game has amazing worlds that contain very detailed aspects to each place you explore. Space is a favourite for many, because of the fact you can go anywhere you want in it. Even though it may only take ten hours to finish the game, you can easily go back and do it again because there are lots of levels and worlds to choose from.

When consumers are shopping for a cell phone, how much does price have a play in features and quality? Is it just the name or the fact that the cell phone has just come out that makes it so expensive? Many people have questions about whether buying a cheaper cell phone is somehow going to give them trouble. There are several high priced cell phones and cheap ones and the comparison between the two is interesting.

The Samsung Gravity 2 is on the higher priced side. It is a cute phone with a side slider full keyboard for comfortable texting. It comes equipped with a 2MP camera and it is it Blue-tooth ready. With a built in music player and a micro SC slot for added memory options, this phone gives a lot to whomever is buying it.

The Blackberry Bold 9700 is a nice looking phone with a bright red screen. It has a touch pad navigator to help you speed through the phones menu system. A 3.2 MP camera is a nice touch and so is the Wi-Fi and GPS system. This phone also has a microSDTM slot that can be equipped to hold up to 32GB of upgradable memory.

The HTC Maple is a great looking phone as well. It has a full keyboard and comes with Windows Mobile 6.1. It also features a 2 MP camera, GPS and Wi-Fi.

On the cheaper side of cell phones, there is the LG 160. This phone is pretty small and easy to fit in the hand. It has blue-tooth and two way speaker options. This phone also comes with the internet and it is downloadable for applications and more. This phone appears to give you allot for the price.

Samsung m230 is another sporty looking phone. It is enabled to give Blue-tooth and the internet. It also features a 2 way speakerphone. It is also clever enough to sit in the palm of your hand comfortably.

The LG Rumour is a phone that is loaded with features. It comes with a 1.3 MP camera and camcorder. It has a full keyboard and a microSDTM slot for adding memory cards. With a Blue-tooth and a MP3 player you will be sure to feel like you have a more expensive phone.

The comparison between cell phones and their prices might have something to do with look. The look of the more pricy models is more trendy, stylish and popular looking. They have more of a box shaped look with big interface. The multi-coloured faces somehow make the phones look more glamorous if that is what you are into.

For someone who doesn`t mind what a phone looks like, or for those where it doesn`t matter how trendy the phone is, going cheaper might be fine. The quality of the phone might be better with a more expensive one, where it might last longer and have better sound quality. But for anyone who just simply wants a phone that looks decent and has similar features then going for a cheaper one is an alternate option.

Some cell phone distributers will offer cell phone plans that include the phone. That means that you pay for some of the phone or nothing at all, and sign on for a plan with the cell phone provider. It is ideal for anyone who wants an expensive phone and who knows that a locked two or three year plan is fine with them. The only downside is that you have to lock into a contract, which sometimes people tend to regret somewhere down the road.

If you have an eBook reading device then you might be wondering about how to get free eBooks. For your convenience there are dozens of free eBook websites. They are all different but strive to offer you one thing, an easy and quick eBook downloading experience.

When you go online to search for a free eBook website, you will want one that has a few important features. The first thing you might look for is an eye catching main page. The colors, font of writing and overall appeal of the website might determine whether or not you are going to stay on it. Some eBook websites are available but it looks like no time was put into them. They are plain and boring with lots of small font.

Another important aspect to watch out for is cover pages for the individual eBooks. A great website will provide you with pictures of the cover of the book. Usually the author has to approve of the cover and the cover is like a window into the book. The reader can tell what the book is going to be about based on the picture on the front. So if a website offers all of their books without any fancy covers then it might not help you find an eBook that you need.

Many eBook sites will let you download the material for free. You can also just view it without having to download the content. It doesn`t take too long to download an eBook, so that means you can view it sooner.

For an author who would like to download a book that they have, most eBook free websites will let authors post their books. They just have to download it to the website. Some websites check it first, while other sites give you the opportunity to have a log in name and account and the downloading of eBooks onto the site is up to you.

The only downside to downloading free eBooks is that some websites might be full of self-published books that may be a complete waste of time. Granted that many excellent authors and their beautiful books get rejected from the big publishing companies, while their stuff is amazing, it is also true that many books that should never be published may get their chance on free eBook sites. That means you may download one and then after reading a page or two, realize that it is horrible and wish that you had never downloaded it or wasted your time.

Most eBook web sites range in what they offer. They can provide non-fiction and self-help books, and they can have fiction for all ages, from adult to children. Many sites also carry electronic books which are great for anyone who wants to know something about computers, but does not necessarily want to go out and spend the money on a book.

While some sites cater to just a self publishing mix of artists, some sites offer real published books and some classic stories and they are offered for free. The books may not be on the best sellers list at a famous book store, but they will be books that you can find at the stores.

As you've decided to turn a deaf ear on Dr. Samuel Johnson's admonition to a young man contemplating marriage ("Don't!"), you are now going to have to figure out how to pop the question. There is one basic rule for you to follow for a memorable proposal – originality is king while throwing a ton of money at it will spoil it!

Excellent proposal ideas will come from considering the things she loves to do, and especially the things you both love doing together. If you both love horse riding, use that as your basis for the proposal, if you like Chinese food, looks like you're eating out when you propose. The key is to make it original, sincere and from you personally.

    At the Movies

Many couples still enjoy going to the movies together and it is inexpensive to rent some ad space in the opening session for you to broadcast your proposal. Plenty of local businesses simply rent a brief slot to place up their banner ad and you can do the same for next to nothing.

Wait for the reel to run and see her reaction – if she runs screaming for the exit, you can take that as a "No!", otherwise be prepared for a lifetime of her stealing your popcorn and telling you to be quiet when you're munching on hard candy.

    At the Restaurant

Choosing her (and hopefully your) favorite restaurant has been a common setting for many a knee-bending proposal. While it is popular, there are some things you can do to up the originality depending on the type of restaurant you frequent.

Chinese restaurants can arrange for a specially printed fortune cookie with your proposal within it (and the ring). Almost any restaurant can arrange for a glass of champagne to be served with the engagement ring sitting in it (but make sure she doesn't drink the ring too). For places where they have video or TV playing (and there are plenty), arrange for them to play a video featuring you with the proposal out to the restaurant and she'll be taken by surprise.

    At the Big Game

If you're fans of sports, almost every venue in the country can accommodate a marriage proposal in front of the crowd. Instead of simply having the announcement made over the speaker system, have her called out from the crowd during the pre-match or half-time interval on the pretext of winning a random draw of ticket holders – obviously the "prize" will be you and your proposal.

    Issue a "Love Ticket"

Ask your local law enforcement agency for some help – have them pull her over on the pretext she's too beautiful to be driving as a single woman and issue her with a "love ticket". You explain to the officer that you have a way of making her "legal" by offering to marry her!

    On the Plane

Plan a weekend getaway and on the plane have the captain make the announcement over the intercom. You can celebrate the engagement with a great weekend but be careful, the oxygen piped around the aircraft will be thinner than at ground level – fainting is a real possibility!

The white Silk Aviator Scarf has a special place in history of fashion accessories. Whenever, you wear it you will become a symbol of elegance and luxury. Do you know where did the first scarf come from? Who invented it and how did it evolve through history? The scarf dates back at least as far as ancient Room, Romans uses Latin term sudarium means "sweat cloth" for it, they use sweat cloth to wipe sweat from their faces. Later people start using it for pragmatic use and with the passage of time it becomes fashion statement. Accessories often have practical origins. The scarf, particularly the aviator scarf is no exception to this rule.

Not all scarves are built the same way. Throughout history, this garment has taken on many different forms. None of which are more popular than the white silk beauty of the aviator scarf. While many people have a vague idea of its flight-borne origins, not too many individuals are aware that it has been used in other ways from generation to generation.

This type of scarf has had many changes in its design that go beyond the traditional white and silk variety. In fact, even in its early days, the aviator scarf was actually manufactured in black and red by the army.

It is also a misconception to think of this kind of apparel as always pristine and free of design. Some military groups wore the scarf with insignias printed on them to designate their group. A glaring example of this is the use of specially designed aviator scarves by a group of military pilots known as the Flying Tigers.

Despite its many variations, the silk aviator scarf remains the most popular primarily because it became known as a standard accessory for pilots. Famous aviators such as Amelia Earheart and Howard Hughes were regularly pictured wearing them. As the years progressed, even other hobbies and activities made use of them. This type of scarf was used for motorcycling as well as car racing.

When the scarf became synonymous with Hollywood glamour, the fate the classic silk scarf as a wardrobe staple was sealed. It is one of the few pieces of clothing that can transition from a businessman's suit to an artist's garb. The demand for it lies with the fact that silk is quite expensive. Wearing it connotes luxury, wealth, and in some ways, status.

Eventually, synthetic fibers made duplicating silk possible. This is one of the long-standing variations of aviator scarves: not all are actually made out of silk. Some are made out of fibers that are soft and light like the original material but is actually made synthetically.

The length of the scarf is also a source of variety. More often than not, the length of this kind of scarf is six feet, which gives enough material for the wearer to wrap it around the neck several times to protect his or her neck and provide warmth. However, the scarf has evolved to showcase lengths that reach up to 10 feet to accommodate those of the larger set.

Accessories often have practical origins. The scarf, particularly the aviator scarf is no exception to this rule. What is now considered a very chic and versatile accessory once performed a utilitarian function. They were meant to be a part of the gear of aviators as they took flight. Eventually, even other activities such as biking and racecar driving made use of this scarf as part of the official garb.

What is common among the varieties of the aviator scarf is their softness and size. Although often associated with the color white, they can actually come in a range of colors. The black aviator scarf is definitely just as chic as its white counterpart. In addition to this, these scarves can be made using printed materials too. In fact, it was not unusual for the military to use scarves that bore the insignias of their group.

Over the years, the aviator scarf became shorter and narrower to accommodate the size of women as well as become less cumbersome. The original purpose of this accessory, as can be culled from its name is that it provided warmth to the pilot as they navigated the skies in open-cockpit planes.

In today's era, there are hardly any more of these kinds of planes. As such, the scarf is no longer as necessary to the pilot's attire. But, the aviator scarf is still around to provide warmth. It is just that the function is performed more on the ground than up in the air. As a result, less fabric is actually needed to attain its full protective potential.

What makes this kind of scarf so useful is that it has the ability to block the wind that blows down the neck of its wearer. Usually, jackets are used to keep the wind away. But in order to achieve this, the jacket needs to have a tight, high collar. For some activities, this kind of design may constrict movements. For example, those on motorcycles need to be able to move their necks freely so they can see their surroundings properly.

In addition to this, most of the jackets that provide the most protection, such as leather, can cause the neck to chafe. This is where the practicality of aviator scarves comes in: it can prevent the air from coming in contact with the rest of the body through the gap in the collar.

The use of silk in this type of scarf is neither accidental nor a result of vanity. Silk is one of the softest materials that can be used so it is gentle on the skin. Unlike other materials such as wool, silk will not chafe. The tightly-woven fibers of silk are not only soft and comfortable but it is also effective against the cold.

It is ideal to use a scarf that reaches six feet in length because it provides the right amount of fabric to loop around the neck comfortably, without having the ends dangle. The classic design is usually the kind that is without fringe so it is easy to wear. However, there are also some with fringe for the more fashion-forward.

When it comes to color, there are no rules in choosing which one works best. Although white is still the most prevalent one, it is easy to see why other colors such as red or black can be a draw. First, white may not be the easiest color to wear on a regular day. Stains and dirt show up easily so the scarf may have to be laundered frequently. Experiment with color to go beyond the norms in aviator scarves.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

The aviator scarf has been around for a large chunk of history. They were originally made out of wool on one side and then silk on the other. They get their name from the pilots who used to wear them out of the need for protection. It definitely did not start out as a fashion trend.

This type of scarf is usually cut at a length of six feet long with a width of 10 inches. They were used to prevent chafing at the pilot's neck caused by the leather flight suit. They were long because the ends were used to clean the goggles. Oil can sometimes spill from the engine and block the view of the pilot.

It was only after several years that the general populace saw the fashion potential of the aviator scarf and both men and women began to wear them. Today, the aviator scarf is made out of silk to keep the wearer comfortable. Gone are the days when only pilots wear them.

Since very few people actually fly rotary engine type planes, this particular kind of scarf actually transitioned as a trend rather than a part of a pilot's gear. As such, the length has become more varied and can be shortened to fit smaller sized individuals.

Recent designs have taken this fashion development into consideration and made aesthetic improvements. Instead of one side being made out of wool, both sides are now made out of silk fabric stitched together. Although it is no longer as warm as before, it does make up for it by high style. An advantage of this is that the scarf need not be reserved for the winter season. It can be used anytime and for any occasion.

It used to be that the aviator scarf is made out of white. However, this garment has transitioned to suit the tastes and preferences of the market. Just like other products, it comes in a variety of colors and designs.

Although the solid white is still quite popular, the aviator scarf can be purchased in black or brown or even with subtle prints. The availability of other colors makes it easy to match the scarf with a range of outfits. The different colors also make it easier for both men and women to wear these scarves.

In order to properly make use of the scarf, it should be draped around the neck the same way a necklace would be. The ends can be left hanging in front or looped around the neck the way other scarves are. Some choose an in-between style and loop one end around the neck while the other end is left dangling in front.

For women, they can add a more feminine touch to the scarf by embellishing it with a brooch or pin. Although this would have been unheard of, and even dangerous, when the scarf was used by pilots, it is quite acceptable now that the scarf is used as a fashion accessory more than anything else.

History has been kind to this particular kind of scarf. It has been around for several generations and retained its status among the fashionable. It is the perfect for both men and women because it is both elegant and masculine at the same time.

Another advantage of the scarf is that it is thin enough to be stashed in a bag or pocket ready to be taken out and used as soon as the need arises. The scarf can be used as an alternative to the necktie or even a shawl for special occasions because it can certainly make a statement.

Whether you already have a paper shredder or are considering getting one, there are some accessories you can get that will make using your machine a more pleasant experience. Here are five great accessories you should know about.

    1. Bags and boxes. Emptying the waste bin of your shredder is never fun and it can also be messy. One way to make this job easier is by using plastic bags in your machine. That way, when the bag gets full, you just need to close it up with a twist tie and then toss it into the recycling bin. You can try using shopping or garbage bags depending on the size of your device, but there are also specially made bags you can purchase. These products are resistant to tears and are much more likely to fit your machine rather than a trash bag. Boxes are another great way to making emptying your shredder's waste bin much easier. You can even line these a box with a bag to make your supply of boxes last longer.

    2. Storage shelves and racks. Depending on what type of machine you have, you may be able to buy a storage shelf or rack for it. These items attach to your device and give you a bit more space in which to store the documents you need to destroy so they're not cluttering up your office. You can also use them to store office supplies and your other accessories, such as oil and bags. (More on oil in a moment.) Storage shelves and racks are generally easy to install and they don't cost an arm and a leg either.

    3. Noise reducers. A lot of today's shredders are designed in such a way that they'll operate almost silently. This allows your office to not be totally chaotic and can even help your employees stay focused on their jobs rather than being distracted by the noise coming from a machine. However, if your shredder makes a racket, you may be able to purchase a noise reducer for it that will muffle the sound. One such product is the MBM DestroyIt Sound Reduction cover that's compatible with a lot of MBM's devices. There may be one that's right for your machine as well.

    4. Oil. The single most important act of shredder maintenance is regularly oiling your device. To do this, you will need shredder oil, which is manufactured by such companies as Fellowes and GBC. This oil keeps your device's cutting mechanism lubricated which will make it run more smoothly and it keeps the blades from getting covered in paper dust. Using other types of oil (ie canola, olive, WD-40) is NOT recommended because it can really do a number on your machine. So make sure you have a good supply of oil on hand.

    5. Automatic oilers. Finally, if you own a shredder that's used daily by a number of people, an automatic oiler may be a good investment. Cutting a big stack of paper doesn't need to be a difficult task - all you need is the right equipment. Whether you need to cut as few as 150 sheets or as many as 800, these products can give you a hand. Check them out so you can find the right one for those big jobs.

    1. Swingline ClassicCut CL800pro Guillotine Paper Cutter. Swingline is a very popular brand when it comes to office products and their CL800pro is yet another one of their great offerings. This device has a very high cutting capacity for a guillotine trimmer: it's capable of processing up to 150 pages with a single stroke of the blade. Your work will always go smoothly because there's a light that indicates just where you need to trim. There is also a great U-shaped handle that promotes use by both right- and left-handed people. Finally, the CL800pro has a lengthy 10-year warranty.

    2. Standard PC-P43 Electric Desktop Paper Cutter. This is a very compact cutter that will fit right on top of any work surface. Its dimensions are 26.6" (width) x 23.7" (depth) x 14.8" (height). Despite its small size, the PC-P43 is capable of trimming approximately 250 sheets at once. It's also very safe to use because a safety cover needs to be lowered and two buttons need to be pressed before operation will start. It has a maximum cutting length of 17 inches.

    3. Tamerica Guillomax Stack Cutter. This is one of Tamerica's largest cutters and it's capable of quickly slicing through 360 sheets of 20 lb. bond paper. It has a clamp that will keep your sheets in place so your paper will be cut perfectly every time. It has a maximum cutting length of 17 inches so it's great for most sizes of paper. This is a heavy-duty device that is perfect for frequent use and it's durable enough to provide you with years of service.

    4. Dahle 858 Premium Stack Cutter. If you thought the Guillomax had a high cutting capacity, you'll be astounded by how much the Dahle 858 can cut. This device can chop up to a whopping 700 sheets at once, which is almost 2.5 reams of copy/printer paper. Its cutting length is 18.5 inches, a full inch and half more than the Guillomax. Plus, this great device has safety shields, an electronic console to guide you through the process, and a laser guide to help you get an extremely accurate cut. There's also an ergonomic friendly handle to make using this product as comfortable as possible.

    5. Intimus Powerline Manual Ream Cutter. If a 700-sheet cutting capacity just isn't enough, you'll want to get the Intimus Powerline. This trimmer can cut up to 800 sheets at once, which is one of the highest capacities around. It can cut items that are up to 18 inches long and it has clamps you can utilize to ensure you'll get the best possible results. There's also a light that will make things as easy as possible for you. Plus, the Powerline is very safe to use because it won't operate unless the safety cover is in place.

All five of these products are high-quality and will make any large trimming job easier. So get one of the great paper cutters today so you can get cutting!

Lamination is a great way of protecting important documents and having the right accessories can make the process more satisfying. Here are five accessories you should think of adding to your office product arsenal.

    1. GBC Zippy Knives. These are great tools to have on hand if you need to trim your laminated documents. They're both easy and safe to use with a blade that's securely placed in a plastic handle. You can use them on any laminated document, as well as other items including plain paper, cardstock, fabric, and more. You can even use them to cut documents that are still sitting on the laminator. They come in assorted colors (green, orange, etc.) and are priced affordably so you can have several around for everyone to use.

    2. Pouch carriers. Just about every box of laminating pouches comes with a carrier, but like any other office items, carriers can get lost. They're necessary when using a pouch laminator because the carrier prevents the machine's gears and rollers from getting gummed up with adhesive. Therefore, having extra carriers on hand can be a good idea, especially since they can be purchased individually and are available in many different sizes. That way your machine will stay clean and you won't need to purchase pouches when you don't need them just to get a carrier.

    3. Roll laminator cleaning kit. Keeping your roll laminator in good working order is important and cleaning is the best way to ensure your device will stay in good shape. This kit has everything you need to clean your machine including a 13-ounce can of foam cleaner and both foam and abrasive pads to remove the adhesive from your device's rollers and heat shoes. The kit is compatible with most roll laminators including ones manufactured by GBC and Tamerica.

    4. Tamerica Stapler-Style Slot Puncher. A slot puncher makes it possible for you to punch holes in your laminated luggage tags, ID badges, and more. This device from Tamerica is one of the best available. It has an adjustable guide to help you center your object for perfect punching. This is a compact slot puncher and is affordably priced.

    5. DryLam Metal 29" Mobile Laminator Cart. Laminators can be large machines and finding room for one can be challenging. A laminator cart can be a solution to this problem and one that's worth a look is this particular cart from DryLam. It's large enough to accommodate laminators that are as wide as 27 inches. (It would even be used to store a fax machine, photocopier, or printer.) This cart has a cabinet that locks and has casters for easier mobility. It's made of steel for incredible durability

This is just a sampling of what's available for your laminator. Stocking up on accessories can make your projects more pleasant and less time-consuming. They can also help you save room in your office and keep your machine clean. So get some today and see how much more productive you can be.

Wouldn't it be great to have a binding system that can go wherever you go? One that you could use at the office and then take home for those special personal projects? Or have your child take it to school so he/she can use it in the classroom? Or even take it on the road when your job sends you out of town and you need to put together materials that will impress your colleagues and clients? If you think so, you need a GBC portable binding system. These devices are high-quality and were designed to be taken on the road. Here is five you should check out....

    1. CombBind C55. This is one of GBC's smallest devices. It can punch up to five sheets of paper at a time and it can be used to bind books that contain 90 pages or less. It is compatible with binding combs that are up to 1/2" thick and it has a rotary comb opener. This device is lightweight and it has an integrated handle so you can carry it without any problem. It is small enough to be stored in a desk drawer, so this is a great device to get if space is at a premium.

    2. BindMate. The BindMate is really two devices in one. It is a plastic comb binding machine but it also doubles as a three-hole punch. It has an 8-sheet punching capacity and can handle combs as wide as 5/8" (125 pages). It is super easy to switch between functions. All you need to do is flip a switch. There's even a carrying handle built into the device. This is the ideal machine if you need both a comb binding system and a three-hole punch as it will help you save space.

    3. CombBind C95. This is another device that has a built-in handle. However, the C95 has bigger punching and binding capacities than the C55 and BindMate. It can punch up to 15 sheets per lift and bind books up to 170 pages long. The C95 is compatible with both plastic combs and GBC ZipBind spines, and there's a comb selector guide so you can pick the right supplies. There's also an electric version of this machine available, the C95E.

    4. CombBind C340. The C340 is one of GBC's newer machines and it has some great features. For one thing, it has a fantastic 25-sheet punching capacity and it will bind documents that contain as many as 450 pages. It has a document separator which will divide your pages into even piles for punching and the automatic centering system ensures that the paper will be aligned perfectly. The lever doubles as a carrying handle. Like the C95, you can use ZipBind spines with this device.

    5. ProClick P50. The P50 is a device that can be used with GBC ProClick spines. ProClick spines can be opened and closed by hand with a special zipper tool that's included in every box of supplies. The P50 is essentially a hole punch that punches the 3:1 32-hole pattern that's compatible with these spines. You can bind books that are up to100 pages long with ProClick supplies and the P50 can punch six sheets at once.

With GBC portable binding systems, it's possible to bind wherever your travels take you. So get one now and get ready to bind anywhere and everywhere

Are you constantly experiencing pain in the head or upper neck? Do you feeling like these pains are everyday in the morning, evening, or all day? Is this something that's making it hard for you to concentrate? What you're probably experiencing is a headache.

One of the most common medical complaints are about headaches, almost everyone somewhere in their life has had a headache. Over 45 million Americans suffer chronic headaches every year. Therefore headaches have a big impact on people's lives everyday. Medical expenses, the cost of these headaches estimate as high as $50 billion per year, that's a lot!

The pain of headaches is known to begin in the nerves and muscles of the head and neck, just as well as in the coverings of the brain and spinal cord called the meninges. This nerve is located in the brain stem, it's the largest in the head, and this nerve carries sensory impulses from and to the face. So, a headache has nothing to do with the brain hurting; your brain itself can't sense pain. It's really just a pain somewhere around the brain which is being picked up by nerve endings located in the head. There are two main reasons with why people get headaches, and it's been classified by doctors into two major categories, such as, primary headaches, and secondary headaches.

The causes of Primary headaches include migraine, tension, and cluster headaches. A migraine can be caused by reduced blood flow to a variety of areas of the cerebral cortex. It's known that about 28 million people in the US will or have experienced migraine headaches. Some symptoms of a migraine include sensitivity to light or noise, nausea, and vomiting, the intense pain normally starts on one side of your head, but the pain can spread to both sides. Muscle strains in the head and neck or emotional stress can cause tension headaches. Over working, not getting enough sleep, not eating, and using alcohol or drugs can cause you to have tension headaches also. This headache is the most common as many as 90% of women and men have had or will have tension headaches. It's known to be usually dull, steady, with aching pains on both sides of the head. Cluster Headaches are sharp, extremely painful headaches they happen repeatedly over and over a period of weeks or maybe even for months.

Secondary headaches happen because of other problems going on with your body. It's due to an underlying structural issue in the head and neck. There normally related with medical conditions, such as, bleeding in the brain, tumor, infections, flu, fever, head injury, hypoglycemia, sinuses and increased pressure to the head.

Many people find headaches being the worst pain they've ever felt and they feel never ending, makes it hard to concentrate in school, hard to work, basically hard to do anything with that horrible feeling pounding on your head or face. MigreLief is patented and is the first comprehensive supplement for the support of cerebral vascular tone, healthy brain blood vessel function. It's designed to provide benefits within three to six weeks, after which it may be used as a part of a daily regime.

Let's face it, its not always rainbows and butterflies being a woman. We have many issues to deal with from pre-menstrual syndrome to pre menopause to menopause to post menopause, its seems like we just don't miss a beat. What all the symptoms that come with this, it seems like there's got to be some kind of relief from it all. Here are a few ways to get some relief.

Most women get many symptoms when going though pre-menstrual syndrome also known as PMS. What causes PMS is a hormone change that happens during your menstrual cycle. Many women experience bloating, tender breast, food craving, acne, lack of energy, headaches, and low back pain many women can experience this a week before they even start their menstrual cycle. Also some women may feel sad, angry, anxious, moody, and less involved in other actives while experiencing PMS. To decrease your chances of getting PMS is making sure you're getting enough vitamin B6, calcium, or magnesium. Drink too caffeine during can make your symptoms worse also and a lack of exercise.

Menopause is the point in a women's life where she has not menstruated in about a year. This is when you will not be able to have children anymore this stage in a women's life is usually referred to as "the change of life". This usually will happen in women around the age of 50. Perimenopause is the process that happens before you get menopause. This process can start as early as your late 30's to 50's. What happens when your going though menopause is your reproductive system doesn't produce eggs as much as a result your body doesn't ovulate as much and your hormone levels fluctuate (estrogen and progesterone levels drops enough that your periods stop). What women experience when going though this process is ; irregular periods, hot flashes, vaginal dryness, headaches, trouble sleeping, emotional changes, feeling that your heart is beating too fast, and mood swings. These symptoms tend to get worse the first year but it different with every woman.

Some natural ways to deal with these symptoms that menopause brings is by making sure your eating healthy. Make sure you're on a hearth healthy diet including vegetables, fish, fruits, and high fiber grains and breads. Also limit your caffeine and alcohol intake; these will only make your symptoms worse. Make sure your getting enough calcium in your daily diet to keep your bones strong. If you smoke it's would be a good idea to stop smoking, quitting smoking will help reduce your hot flashes and other long term health risk. Another thing you want to do is get exercise even if just a walk around your neighborhood, just get some exercise can help mange your weight, and give you a mood lift.

Another thing I would recommend your start taking before you start experience any of these symptoms is taking an all natural supplement called Women's Harmony by FreeLife. This is a supplement for women in all stages in their life. It will help your deal with PMS, Primenopause, and menopause and all the symptoms that come with it.
