Dr. Dante Implicito (Section Chief of Spine Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center)
and Ozzie Carlson (Head Professional and Director of Golf) Help Those Golfers with Chronic Back and Neck Pain.
For most of the 25 million golfers in America, playing 18 holes is probably one of the most relaxing ways to spend a day (until you miss that 6 foot putt for birdie). However, for many of those with chronic back and neck pain, it not only hinders their ability to enjoy the game but may prevent them from playing altogether. The key for most golfers is learning how to avoid this pain without compromising the power and accuracy of their swing.
Golf is what is known as a "unilateral" sport. This means that the biomechanics of the golf swing puts asymmetrically stress one side of the body versus the other. Because the golf swing is performed on a tilted plane, it is one of the most involved complex body stressing movements of any sport and requires the use of several different muscle systems throughout the entire length of the body working in perfect harmony. The club head speed on a drive reaches speeds in excess of 100mph during a swing that occurs in approximately 1.2 seconds. Obviously, considerable muscle force is needed to exert this kind of power.
The Role of Your Spine In Your Swing
For many years, it was thought that power was generated from the arms and shoulders. However, recent advances in swing motion have added power from the ground up, thus increasing club head speed, which in turn, places more stress on the spine. For this reason, the area most prone to injury among golfers is the lower back. A recent study showed that 75% of professional PGA golfers experienced a spinal issue. Another study of 193 amateur golfers showed 53% complained of a chronic issue with the most prevalent issue being related to the spine. Some, like PGA staple Peter Jacobsen, have undergone spinal surgery to correct their spinal issue.
During a proper swing the muscles surrounding the spine play an integral role in generating power and accuracy due to the considerable amount of torque generated in the backswing and subsequently increase even further with the first move of the downswing.
Traditionally, golfers were taught a single axis swing. This swing consisted of a forceful shoulder and hip turn on the backswing followed by an arched lower back on the follow through, commonly referred to as the "reverse or inverted C". Many professional and amateur golfers who employed this technique experienced frequent low back problems. The most common of these problems were herniated discs as a result of these rapid non-fluid movements placing excessive loads on the spine. Also, this technique emphasised quick jerking movements which produced considerable pressure on the intervertebral discs of the spine which lead to herniations of the discs.
The one axis swing was subsequently replaced by the more naturally athletic two axis swing. The two axis swing permitted the golfer to load or coil against his rear axis during his backswing and then to transfer his coil to his lead axis to start his downswing. This modified swing emphasises the proper biomechanics of to alleviate excessive forces on muscles and joints and focuses on reducing the load on the spine during a swing.
World renowned golf instructor David Leadbetter described the athletic swing as "the efficient coiling and uncoiling (generating and releasing power) of one's torso in a rotary or circular motion which maximizes centripetal force. Centripetal force is the force created away from the center of one's swing, transmitting from your body (trunk and hips) out through your arms and hands. This creates clubhead speed and maintains the club on a steady orbit or arc."
The most recent swing advancement springs from the research completed by Thomas J. Meyers and his medical staff as presented in his book Anatomy Trains and via his lecture series. Meyers research defines for us the natural motion/power diagonals of the human body.
These motion/power diagonals consist of a combination of muscles, tendons and ligaments extending the entire length of the body from foot to opposite shoulder blade and wrapping around to the chest.
Through their understanding of the functional relationship between these two diagonals, trainers and coaches have recently begun improving performance in the context of improving our "KQ" - our Kinesthetic Quotient, or body intelligence, with athletes competing as pitchers, slalom skiers, martial artists, gymnasts, etc. By tapping into the natural athletic motion of these motion/power diagonals, athletes are able to generate increased power while actually reducing stress on the spine.
Applying the benefits of Meyers research to the golf swing, we find that when we generate motion using these motion/power diagonals, we can very naturally transfer weight from foot to foot as the trunk and hips rotate horizontally. In this manner we can generate an even more naturally athletic and powerful swing motion around a fixed center of gravity - located precisely at the intersection of these two motion/power diagonals - further reducing the load on the spine during the golf swing.
For these this reasons, spine surgeon and avid golfer, Dr. Dante Implicito has emphasized the benefits of these far more naturally athletic and powerful swing techniques to many of his patients who are golfers.
Other Factors That Can Lead to Injury
Although golf is one of the few sports that is played avidly by almost all age ranges, retirees seem to have a specific interest in the game. For the more elder golfer, certain precautions should be factored in to avoid injury. Osteoporosis and arthritis are two of the more common conditions that plague the older golfer and can lead to a much higher rate of spine injury. As osteoporosis progresses, the joints and vertebrae within the spine become weaker and more porous. This weakening, coupled with improper golf swing, can lead to a high rate of spinal fracture and disc degeneration as a result of increased forces on the spine. Elder golfers with either of these conditions can learn to modify their swings to incorporate a slower backswing and a more fluid foreswing and acceleration in the delivery of their swing speed to avoid injury. If this is executed properly they should see no loss of drive distance.
Another specific factor that contributes to injuries of the back or neck is the lack of proper warm up prior to playing or practicing. All too many golfers rush to the 1st tee and start the game with the most powerful drive they can on the first hole. Without proper stretching or warm up, this this level of exertion is a recipe for injury. Large amounts of stress on these muscles that are not properly warmed up and thoroughly stretched prior to play will cause strains, sprains and herniations.

About Ozzie Carlson
As a PGA Apprentice, Head Professional and Director of Golf, Ozzie served at some of America's finest clubs including Ridgewood CC site of the US Amateur, Senior Open, Senior PGA and the 2008 & 2010 Barclay's; The Everglades Club in Palm Beach, The Pittsburgh Field Club, Pine Tree, Quail Ridge Golf & Tennis Club in Delray Beach, FL and the Royal Palm Yacht & CC in Boca Raton.
Gaining recognition as a marvelous teacher wherever he went, Ozzie was selected to instruct at both the National and Florida PGA Junior Academies and was subsequently recruited by Golf Digest to be a member of their select teaching team. The greatest influence on Ozzie's maturing growth as a player/teacher came from the incomparable Sam Snead, who played almost daily as a member at Pine Tree (Boynton Beach, FL) during his tenure there.
"I was extremely fortunate to have Sam Snead take an interest in me, answering my daily questions about how to play most every type of shot in the game and reviewing my progress. Sam seemed to enjoy being my mentor, I guess because he'd found in me that rarest of students; a player who wanted to learn well enough to be able to teach others. I can never thank Sam enough for all the time and wisdom he invested in my understanding of the process of shot making for each facet of the game. Perhaps more than any other, I have benefited from his knowledge and understanding of how the game is learned and played. I can pay no greater tribute to Mr. Samuel Jackson Snead, and to my many mentors than to pass along to others what they taught me."

PSP (PlayStation Portable) was released by Sony Computer Entertainment into the US markets in 2005 as a full-service, handheld entertainment system capable of delivering most every media source in a single tiny portable device. Since that time Sony has recorded sales in excess of 31 million units worldwide. Technology in the entertainment field has grown exponentially in the past two decades.
Movies are made of higher digital quality, video games are of absolute higher quality, and music is received and shared much easier with the advent of higher technology, including the Internet. Now all this is available in the palm of your hand. PSP movies, music, photos, Internet access, other video sources, and games are all compatible with the PSP system. A memory stick accessory will help to facilitate or enhance many of these features available to users.
The PSP system is constructed with a standard widescreen high resolution LCD display and stereo speakers to enjoy these many forms of media. One of the greatest sources of media to enjoy on the go is PSP movies. These can be watched by either saving the movie to the memory stick from the Internet to play through the PSP, downloading through the wireless Internet connectivity option directly into the PSP, or through a pre-recorded UMD (Universal Media Disk) movie similar to a DVD. This allows users to watch movies on their handheld device 24-hours a day, seven days a week, and anywhere they may be.
Downloading through the PSP website is extremely simple and takes only a few clicks. Many free downloads are available from the website for viewing as well, which include game demos, game trailers, and movie trailers. UMD movies are available at most stores carrying electronics. Over 430 UMD titles are in current circulation, consisting of movies and television shows. Titles available include new movies, classics, and recent television hits. Some of the titles available in UMD are Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Ice Age 2, Gridiron Gang, Open Season, The Marine, Scarface, and the Family Guy to name only a few.
To enjoy the PSP movies available, many accessories would be helpful. Headphones allow users to listen to the movie comfortably while not disturbing others while in public spaces. A remote control comes with headphones for added control of the movie experience. Car adapters and AC adapters allow for unlimited viewing without the concern of the battery running out of charge during the movie.
With hundreds of PSP movies and television shows available for download and for purchase as a UMD, this is truly a major highlight of the PSP system. The ability to watch movies on the same system you can also manage photos with, play high resolution games with, and listen to music with all from your hands is astounding. Coupled with Sony's constant upgrading of the PSP system, software and accessories, the titles will continue to grow as will the features and benefits of the PSP. And the popularity of the PSP will grow as quickly.

Article Title: Should You Sell Your Wares At A Craft Fair?

Simply put, a craft fair is an organized event where exhibitors display their crafts for sale. Even though the number of people selling products at craft fairs both full-time and part-time seems to be increasing, it can be tough to decide whether or not craft fairs are for you. There is profit to be had at craft fairs, but you should do your homework before you jump in.
A good way to decide if you should sell your creations at a craft fair is to go to a few in your area. Visit small craft fairs. Visit large craft fairs. Check out both open air markets and indoor exhibitions. See what kind of traffic they have. See what people are selling and what consumers are buying.
These are important items to know when considering selling products at craft fairs yourself. You can find out what craft fairs are coming to your area by checking websites like http://www.artandcraftshows.net, http://www.festivalnet.com, and http://www.crafters.db.com. You can also get this information if you belong to a craft guild or subscribe to a trade journal. Seek out the opinions of your fellow crafters or friends that have participated in craft shows to find out which are the best.
Once you find a show you would like to show at, you should get as much information as possible. You may want to ask about fees and how booth space is assigned. When considering the cost of the craft fair, be sure to include the cost of travel and supplies. Find out what the attendance was last year and what the expected attendance is this year.
Do you need a special license to sell? All sellers will need a sales tax certificate as most states require you to collect sales tax. It would also be good to know what kind of crafts will be displayed, in other words, the style of the show. How many competitors will you have there? Do you know what their average price range is? Also find out what the contingency plan is for bad weather, especially if it is outdoors.
When getting started at craft fairs, keep it simple. You'll want to start small and build up a reputation. On the other hand, selling a high number of cheaper items is not always best. Be sure that your offerings include a range of basic, or less expensive items, and a range of more personalized, detailed, or larger items that are more expensive. You want to present a small, but accurate, picture of who you are and what you can do. Also, make sure that your prices reflect the work that you have done. Try not to overprice your items.
Here is what you should bring to a craft fair, other than your creativity! Invest in a credit card machine and remember to bring it with you. Not many people are going to pay cash, especially for higher priced items. Bring a friend – someone that can help you carry things, talk with customers, and sell. Bring any supplies for your booth not provided by the show promoters.
While you are at the craft fair, try to share information. Meaning, get your company name, logo, website, and other contact information out there, and try to build up your potential customer list. Give aways and sign up sheets are great ways to get email addresses that you can use to promote your newest creations when you are away from the craft fairs. This can also help you build a loyal customer base and establish a good reputation.
You can be successful selling your products at craft fairs, if you have the energy, the drive, and the dedication!

Ever bought a gadget? Where did you get it repaired? Almost everything comes with a user manual and at the end of the manual are names of places where you can get it repaired. Watches are no exceptions. From the dials to the movements to the glass, everything gets worn and at some point or the other you find yourself getting your watch repaired.
Watch repairs are done in almost every store that carries them. One of the most common things that go wrong with a watch is that their time telling abilities falter. This can be due to many reasons. The ones that run on battery cells usually need a change and the hand wound ones need a new wheel. But as the watches of today's day and age do much more than tell time, their repairs are also complicated.
The Tissot T touch has so many various functions that tell the atmospheric pressure, the temperature, the direction and so on that it usually continues to tell the right time while one or more of the other functions falter. Even the straps or the fancy bracelets can need repairs. Depending on the item that needs repair and the store that one chooses, almost all the watches can be repaired for a fair price.
Most of the big names in watch making today have their own web sites and you can easily visit them and locate a place nearby for their watch repairs. Some web sites even allow you to send the broken item to them in a box with a check and a return address. The best part is that all repairs are guaranteed for 12 months.
Some web sites will fix watches of only certain companies. That watch owned by your grandfather can also be repaired. There are people who deal in restoration of antique watches, though for the money charged by them one could easily buy a new watch. Then again, the thrill of having a hundred year old watch that works is awesome.
Watch repair is not only limited to the functions of a watch but cosmetic repairs can also be done. Crystal replacement or fixing bracelets and even the watch boxes are common in today's age.
Movement overhauls, with disassembly, cleaning, lubricating and reassembly are the obvious repairs and most watches have seen them. Some people even get custom repairs done to their timepieces where some kind of dial or movement could be added to the already existing watch. Strangely waterproof watches are the ones that usually get repaired for water entry in the movements.
In conclusion it would be best to say that whether one wants a small repair done or some vintage watch repaired it is best to consider all the options. There are many to choose from and guarantees are taken for the work done. So the next time you find your time piece faltering make sure you send it to the best watch doctors who will safely and surely do a good watch repair job.

There are a number of ways to build your online presence without going broke. You can drive traffic to your website without spending a bundle. It's a matter of thoughtfulness and creatively using the resources you have available. We all know that you can have a great product to sell, but if no one is coming to your website, there aren't likely to be many sales. A penny pincher traffic technique can help you build your online presence with little or no monetary outlay.
The old saying, "You have to spend money to make money", is very true, but building an online presence need not cost you your life savings. That defeats the purpose of going into business in the first place. The big guys have huge advertising budgets and lots of money to throw around. While there's nothing wrong with having a big budget, let's talk about how the Average Joe can get his foot in the door of internet marketing and make a decent income by using a penny pincher traffic technique.
Here are a few ideas to help you build your online presence without spending a lot of money. A well researched and themed niche can be successful with only about 100 unique visitors per day. It doesn't sound like much, but multiply that by several sites and you can be on your way to success.
Article Marketing - Implement this technique at absolutley no cost to you. Write articles relevant to your niche and submit them to article directories free of charge. Include a link to your website or blog in the resource box. If readers found your article interesting, they will be more likley to click your link for more information. This is the ultimate penny pincher traffic technique. It only requires your imagination.
Link Exchanges - Exchange links with websites that have a similar theme as yours. This promotes continuity and will yield inbound and outbound related links. These types of sites rank high in the search engines. High search engine ranking will equal more traffic without added cost.
Traffic Exchange Services - Using this technique, you view other people's sites in exchange for credits where other people can view your site. this generates traffic at little or no cost, but may not be a very effective use of your time. The time you use viewing other people's site to get your credits could probably be put to better use. The main benefit of this penny pincher traffic technique is that it will increase the number of people who know about your site.
Forums - There is no cost associated with this technique other than time. Each person joining a forum get's a signature box where you can advertise your site or a product you are promoting. this is free advertising. Your best bet is to join a forum that matches the theme of your niche.
Newsletters - Newsletters establish you as an expert in your niche and build your online presence very effectively with little cost. Your only monetary outlay is the cost of a good autoresponder. Subscription to your website's newsletter can also help you build a loyal customer base that will be more likely to purchase products from you in the future. Newsletter subscriptions can generate lots of sales as long as you don't overload your subscribers with emails. Email overload can cause you to lose customers in internet marketing.
Internet marketing can be a challenging and rewarding career. It's one of the few truly lucrative businesses in the world that can be started with absolutley no money at all. A good penny pincher traffic technique is all you need to build your online presence.

Discriminating keyword selection is understandably the key structure for any affiliate business. These keywords are are likely to carry the highest profit potential and rank highest in the search engines.
Try this free technique that the Who Loves Money ebook discusses. It is an extremely powerful, although not widely used, technique to selecting keywords. Make a list of words that people research the internet for when they're ready to shop for a product or service. This is where careful keyword selection determines profit or loss in internet marketing.
Here's an example, when someone searches the net "purchase Who Loves Money ebook," what do you think is going through their head? You've got it, they want to order the Who Loves Money ebook! On the other hand, if someone surfs the web and performs the search "who loves money ebook free download," they aren't really serious about buying anything. Targeting these types of keywords won't give you a potential customer you need to build your online business even though they generally have a large search volume. Searches performed by these types of web surfers aren't looking to buy the Who Loves Money ebook or any other product or service.
Relate this type of thought process to the niche you are targeting. If you're promoting organic chocolate, think up a keyword selection with pointers such as buy, order, purchase, and get. Those are some great words just to get you started down the right road. If you think about it for a few moments, you'll see there are numerous keywords available that are ripe for selection and profit.
Along with many other techniques in the Who Loves Money ebook, this one technique alone can get you off to a great financial start. It won't matter whether you use pay-per-click advertising, website search engine optimization, or straight affiliate marketing. The Who Loves Money ebook has numerous techniques you can learn and most of them won't cost you a penny to get started towards financial freedom.

Beyond the ball, the most important piece of personal equipment a bowler can buy is a good pair of shoes. Picking out just the right bowling shoes, however, can take a little time and consideration. The payoff will be a great pair of shoes that help you avoid the rental stand while rolling a good game.
The first place to start when picking out a pair of bowling shoes is with the price. Setting a budget is not a bad idea. Shoes can range from quite affordable to very pricey depending on what specifications you have in mind.
The next consideration is in the style of bowling you actually intend to do. Serious players very likely will want a pair of bowling shoes that matches their throw style. For example, left handed bowlers can buy special shoes that help them set up for the throw just a bit better. This is a small edge, but one many serious bowlers take very to heart. For those who want bowling shoes, but don't have a big budget, ambidextrous shoes might be in order.
When picking out the right shoes and even setting the budget, it's not a bad idea to consider how much play time you actually plan to put in. The more the shoes will get used, the more likely it is you will be better off going with a more expensive, durable pair. Buying a really expensive pair of shoes for an annual trip, however, probably isn't the best use of extra money.
The last thing to consider (beyond size) is standard play habits. For example, do you happen to play more often at a particular lane where you know the conditions? If so, buy a pair of shoes to fit those conditions. If you tend to move around a lot, shoes that offer changeable soles for different lane conditions could be a good idea.
There are some great reasons for those who bowl more than just once in a while to consider getting their own bowling shoes. They include:
* Cost savings. If you're a weekly bowler, a pair of shoes might end up costing less than rentals over the course of a few months.
* Sanitation. For some people, it just doesn't matter how much disinfectant goes into rental shoes, the idea of wearing shoes someone else did just turns their stomach. A good buy in bowling shoes is ideal for these folks.
* Comfort. When a pair of shoes fits and fits right, it can really make a difference in comfort on the lanes.
* Performance. There's just something about having the right shoes on that tends to make game play improve, at least a little. While a good pair of shoes won't take a player's score and increase it by 100 every time, it can provide a little edge that can actually make a big difference.
Anyone who bowls more than once every blue moon would likely benefit from a good pair of personal bowling shoes. Providing comfort, the right fit and perhaps even some cost savings over the long run, this is a small investment in the game that can make a big difference.

You keep feeling pain in your elbow and can not figure out why. You are in great physical condition and play tennis every weekend with friends when the weather is nice. You have even joined a tennis club to have access to better inside courts.
Now, you are in pain and do not know why. What is even more important to you is that you can not play tennis without the pain becoming more severe. It is time to see the doctor and hopefully get a pill to get better. Unfortunately, after extensive testing, the doctor tells you that you have tennis elbow-something you thought was just a joke or an excuse for not playing the game well.
Okay, so what is going on in your elbow? Tennis elbow occurs when tiny tears occur in a certain part of the tendon and in the muscle coverings. Even after letting everything heal and taking care of your injury, you will be prone to this condition for the rest of your life.
You begin studying about this topic and learn that tennis elbow has some basic symptoms that include:
* Recurring pain on the outside of the upper forearm just below the bend of the elbow; occasionally, pain may radiate down the arm toward the wrist.
* Pain caused by lifting or bending the arm or grasping even light objects.
* Difficulty extending the forearm fully (because the inflamed muscles, tendons and ligaments do not want to bend).
* Pain that typically lasts for 6 to 12 weeks; the discomfort can continue for as little as 3 weeks or as long as several years.
You realize that you have been having problems for a few months with these symptoms, but did not know that there was a serious problem. You would just take a few aspirin and go on with life-being tough and dealing with the discomfort. Now, you know that by ignoring the pain that you had has caused even more damage that will take longer to heal.
If you had only taken the time to know about tennis elbow, you may have been able to avoid the problem. There were exercises specifically designed to strengthen the arm muscles used when playing tennis. If you had just known about this preventative process, you would have been able to do these before playing. Very much like the stretching you do before jogging-you warm up the muscles and get them ready.
So now you know what to do, but is it too late? It may not be too late. You can start taking better care of yourself and make sure that you are ready to play tennis again. Let your initial injury heal all the way-not just when you think it is better, but after the doctor gives his approval for you to play again. Then, try a warming up the muscles first or wearing a band around your forearm just below the elbow. The extra support provided by the band may help or hurt—ask your doctor for his opinion.
Take the time to get better, and hopefully you will out on the tennis court again enjoying yourself without the worry of another injury.

Getting into the stock market can be a fun and rewarding venture. For those who are unfamiliar with its ups and downs, the prospect can be a bit daunting though. Dealing with brokers can be a little frustrating. Some brokers are very easy to reach and will do a buyer's bidding no matter what.
Others, armed with more knowledge than the investors, will sometimes be a little less responsive. Thanks to online stock investing, brokers can be virtually taken out of the mix for those who aren't keen on dealing with a middleman directly.
Online stock investing is a fairly new concept that has opened a lot of doors for investors of all financial means. Everyone from retirees to schoolchildren have managed to get involved in online stock investing for a whole host of reasons.
There are some negatives to going this route to make investments, but there are a whole lot of perks that go with it, too. The cons for online investing involve the loss of a personal broker that can offer sound advice. When it comes to getting the best advice on what to buy, when to buy and when to sell, it's hard to replace the expert.
Beyond that, however, online stock investing does have a lot of perks that make it accessible to virtually anyone. Plus, many reputable online trading sites provide access to trained brokers and investment counselors when their help is needed.
The overall perks of online stock investing include:
Ease: Most online trading sites offer very simple interfaces that enable users to quickly and easily buy and sell stocks. All that's generally necessary is setting up a free account, sharing some information and inputting what's required to pay for stock purchases. Most sites offer a lot of help for decision making and even navigating through purchases and sales, too.
Cost: The costs associated with trading stocks online will vary from site to site, but in general they are much more affordable than using direct brokerage services. Rather than charge huge per trade fees, these sites enable very small purchases and sales for pennies. This is what makes online trading so attractive to small investors looking to turn their milk money into extra cash.
Control: Online stock investing tends to put a lot more control into the hands of the investor. With direct access to buy and sell commands, these services help ensure that what investors want done is truly carried out. This can present both pros and cons, however. With the ease for selling and buying, overzealous traders can sell prematurely or buy at bad times.
Freedom: Online stock investors tend to have a lot of freedom to make their own decisions. This falls under control, somewhat, but the fact is this is one of the best options for someone who wants the freedom to make all of their own decisions regarding their money and investments.
Online stock investing can be a great way for anyone to get involved in the market. Coming with fees that are more affordable to the masses, this trend is one that's more than likely to continue.

Article Title: What You Should Know About Voip Technology

You have heard it all-everyone is talking about the VOIP technology and how it is outpacing the telephones companies and even the cellular companies. So what is all the talk about?
VOIP allows you to make your entire local, long distance and international telephone calls over your high-speed internet connection. All of this for just one low price that can be rolled up into your monthly internet cable invoice. The technology is changing rapidly and there are a lot of new features available to people savvy enough to get in on the ground floor for this new technology.
So, what should you do? How different will your VOIP technology be over your regular telephone company? If you listen to the advertisements, you will realize that they are a lot alike, but there are also some benefits that VOIP technology now offers.
For your VOIP telephone phone, you can have voice mail, 3-way calling, speed dialing, call forwarding, simultaneous ring, call waiting, caller ID, call return, caller ID block, anonymous call rejection, do not disturb feature, and last number redial. If changing to the VOIP system you can take your existing telephone number, get great international rates, make it possible for people overseas to call you with it being a local call for them (gone are the long distance rates), you get free in-calling network and can manage your account online.
Well, this sounds a lot like the other phone companies, so what really makes the VOIP technology better? It is debatable as to whether or not this is better. It is definitely different, however; recently, there was a press release on http://News.com that "A technical review conducted by the British government has found several security flaws in products that use VOIP and text messaging, including those from Microsoft and Cisco Systems." So, there can be a problem with the VOIP technology.
There is also concern that the VOIP does not full support their own encryptions yet. This means that it is easy to eavesdrop on VOIP telephones and to even change what is being said. Experts are working on security options, but have not yet found one that is completely reliable to take care of this problem.
If you look at it only one way, you would say, this is a major problem and I can not deal with that. However, consider the cyper terrorists. They can and will disrupt any communications system-all it takes is the time and patience to find a single flaw and everything can come crashing down.
The choice is yours to decided whether or not the VOIP technology is advanced enough for you to use this as your primary means of communicating on the telephone. Take your time and really think about whether or not this new VOIP technology will do everything you need it to do. If not, you might want to wait a few years until the technology has advanced more before changing over to the new VOIP technology. You know that technology will only change and be improved for the better.

Bass Boats have gone through a tremendous evolution to get to the point where they are today. The first "bass boat" was considered to be a hulled out canoe made from chippings off of very large trees. The Caddo Indians of east Texas and western Louisiana are credited with this type of boat "invention."
They used these boats to fish to provide food for their families. Bass during that time were the number one food choice to enable families to survive. Fortunately for these families, bass were found in very large supplies in the swampy waterways of the southeastern United States, exactly where these tribes were located. Thus began the evolution of the bass boat as we know it today. Below are present day considerations and tips for purchasing a bass boat.
Consider your Towing Vehicle:
Bass boats and trailers with a full tank of gas and loaded with all the fishing gear easily weighs over 3500 pounds. Before you consider your purchase of a bass boat, make sure your towing vehicle can handle to the load. Also, remember to take into consideration towing up mountains and hills.
Bass Boats:
There are key questions that an angler looking into buying a bass boat needs to ask themselves. Where are you primarily going to be doing your fishing? What is the size of the body of water? Will it be small lakes and rivers? If so, perhaps all you will need is a small boat with a small outboard motor. If you are planning on fishing in larger bodies of water, a minimum of 19-foot boat is your best choice. Overall, the three main characteristics recognized and looked for in the bass boat of today are shallow draft, maneuverability and stability of the boat.
Lastly, if this is going to be your first bass boat purchase, you might want to consider buying a used boat. This way you can gain more experience and have a better idea of what you want in your next new boat purchase.
Aluminum Bass Boats:
Aluminum boats are much less expensive than fiberglass boats. Additionally aluminum boats are much more forgiving of occurrences that inevitable happen on the water; banging into a dock, running up into shallows, hitting submerged rocks or stumps and so forth. The downside is that aluminum bass boats ride much rougher than fiberglass boats and are easily blown around by even the slightest wind. Again, the size of the body you plan to bass fish on is clearly a tremendously important component in the decision making. If you are intending to fish in a small lake, a 16-17 foot aluminum bass boat would likely be a good choice.
Fiberglass Boats:
Fiberglass bass boats are much more expensive than aluminum but clearly there are reasons for this. Fiberglass bass boats are capable of handling rougher and bigger bodies of water, they give the boater a much smoother ride and they can go much faster than aluminum bass boats. Experts suggest that if you are considering going with a fiberglass bass boat that you purchase one with a 4-stroke outboard engine as opposed to a 2-stroke engine.
The reasoning is that even though they cost a bit more, they cover much more water as far as fuel is concerned, they are much quieter and much cleaner than a 2-stroke. The reduced fuel cost is estimated to pay-off for the additional cost of the engine in the long run. To give you an idea of the cost of a fiberglass bass boat, they usually range from $20,000 to a $40,000 top of the line boat.
New vs. Used Bass Boats:
There are advantages of buying a used bass boat. Clearly they will be less expensive than a new one and historically, used bass boats hold their value much better than a new one. Also, as mentioned above, is this is your first bass boat purchase, buying a used boat will give you a better understanding of what you may or may not want if you ever decide down the road to purchase a new bass boat. There are also disadvantages of purchasing a used bass boat. In the simplest way to state it, you may be buying someone else's headache.
Outboard engines, as are found on bass boats, are known to be short lived and it is difficult to determine this on a causal inspection of the boat. The best suggestion is to either buy from someone you trust or have a professional inspect the boat and engine before purchasing. Lastly, just as in purchasing a car, the seller needs to be willing to negotiate on price with a used bass boat sale.
Obviously, the biggest advantage to buying a new bass boat is warranties and the sheer joy of owning a brand new bass boat!
Boat Handling:
Whether you decide to purchase a new or used bass boat, learning to handling it is a process that takes time. Every boat has its own "personality" and handles differently in every way. From launching to retrieval to water handling, bass boats are all different. A few examples of these differences are the sounds your engine makes when it is trimming, the way it pulls out and into shallow water and the correct engine positioning and trim tab positioning to get it up on plane. Bass boats are all different. Realizing this and knowing that it will take time to learn your boat will encourage you to spend more time on the boat and enjoying the wonderful sport of bass fishing!

Article Title: What Is Lasik And Is It Right For You?

You hear about it everyday on the television and radio. Advertisements tell you that you will be able to see again without ever wearing glasses or contact lenses again. Just go through the simple procedure known as lasik and you vision problems are forever gone. But what exactly is lasik and is it right for you?
This procedure was introduced in 1991 as is defined as
LASer-performed with the excimer laser
In situ-the cornea in its nature position on the eye
Keratomileusis-a process of carving the cornea to reshape it.
Make sense? It is an acronym for a much longer definition.
The procedure is one where the cornea-rather than being surgically removed, reshaped and then reattached-it is sculpted directly on the eye using the excimer laser as a sculpting tool. A very thin flap of the outer layer of the cornea is created using a state-of-the-art microkeratome.
This flap is like a hinged clear lid that is gently lifted back and the stroma beneath is exposed. The doctor will sculpts the stroma to correct its shape and the hinged clear flap is then placed back into position and is held in place by the eye's nature suction. This provides a more comfortable process and a shorter recovery time.
Wow, this is really technical stuff with a lot of big words that you normally do not hear everyday. But, this procedure is becoming more and more popular with people who do not want to wear glasses or contact lenses. There is a high rate of success with this procedure and people are flocking to have it done.
If you think you want to have lasik performed on your eyes, you should check into the procedure. It is not for everyone and there are risks involved. You might want to read medical reports and listen to news reports to see learn about what is happening in this area.
Medicine is changing all the time and new medical procedures are being developed and approved by the FDA. It is possible that you considered having eye surgery a few years ago but were told that it would not work for you. It might be worth checking again because the requirements and limitations may have changed since you were last evaluated.
If you think you will benefit from lasik surgery, your eye surgeon would be the best person to tell you this. A reputable eye surgeon will not want to take chances if you are not a good candidate and he will be around to take care of you if you have the surgery. Your eyes are very important to you and there is no reason why should every take a chance with them if the doctor does not think that the surgery would be good for you.
Take your time and think about whether or not you want to have lasik done on your eyes. You may end up with perfect vision or you may still need glasses or contact lenses. No one procedure is perfect for everyone. So, think about your options and then make your decision.

Camping is an incredibly popular recreation activity for a number of reasons. For some it is fun and relaxing to get away from the grind of civilization and get out into the wilderness. For others it is the challenge of living off the land, or simply spending time with friends or family without distractions.
Fishing, hunting, canoeing, and sightseeing are just a few of the activities that accompany many camping trips. However, there is one camping activity that is almost universal, and that is spending time on your feet. Whether you are hiking the trails or simply hiking from your tent to the car, a good pair of campers shoes are an invaluable asset when you are spending time with nature.
All campers shoes are not created equal so prospective campers need to be careful when shopping for camping footwear. The first thing to consider is the kind of activities will you be doing. If you are simply going to be walking around the campsite then lightweight, comfortable shoes might be preferable. You might also consider a shoe that is a high or mid-rise style. The higher top will not only help keep dirt and sand out of your shoes, it provides additional stability that is useful on uneven ground.
If long hikes along riverbeds or streams are on your agenda, then remember this important fact: Water resistant does not mean waterproof! Water resistant means exactly that; the shoe will resist water, but it is not impervious to water. Everyone knows the discomfort, blisters, and cold that wet feet can cause, so keep that in mind when selecting campers shoes. If there is a high probability that your feet could become submerged then it might be in your best interest to look for campers shoes that are completely waterproof.
If you are going to be walking along rocky trails, or climbing along jagged rock surfaces, then campers shoe with a steel shank might best suit your needs. Rocks can abuse your feet if the only thing separating them is a soft rubber sole. A steel shank will absorb that energy and protect your feet, keeping you comfortable and pain free.
If, on the other hand, you plan to walk along well marked and well traveled paths and a rocky trail is not in the forecast, then campers shoes with a steel shank might not be worth the extra money, or more importantly, the extra weight. Instead you might opt for a lightweight shoe that will be lighter on your wallet and your feet.
When you have decided on the type of campers shoes you will need, make sure you go to a dealer of quality footwear. Cheap, low quality, hiking and campers shoes are less likely to perform up to your expectations and there is no way to replace them when you are out in the wilderness! Also be sure to have your feet accurately measured to ensure the best possible fit. When you have a pair of campers shoes that are of high quality, proper size, and styled to suit your activities, your time on the trails or around the campfire will be more enjoyable!

Perhaps the most timeless of fashion accessories – pun intended – is the wristwatch. Aside from their obvious role as a timepiece that has kept us on schedule throughout the decades, the watch plays an equal role when it makes a statement of style and success. The right watch can convey a message about you just as much as your clothes, and while everyone knows the kind of message sent by a Rolex or Cartier watch, it is no secret that their exorbitant price tag is part of that equation. However, with a Fossil watch you can embrace a sense of style without spending hundreds or even thousands, and you can even do it with your own personal flair.
Started in 1984, the Fossil watch company has staked their place on the wristwatch landscape by providing a selection of watches that can appeal to a wide range of tastes and nearly any budget. Offering casual and dress watches that typically cost between $50 and $150 dollars, a Fossil watch is not a cheap watch; it is an affordable, high quality timepiece.
Boasting a selection of watches that rivals any company, with looks to match, Fossil watches could get by on their looks, quality, and price alone. However, Fossil has taken watches to a new, innovative, and original level by offering several lines of watches that are a product of outside-the-box thinking.
The Fossil watch website is a great place to begin looking for that special watch that fits your wrist and personality. At the Watch Bar, you can build your own watch be selecting from a wide variety of styles, sizes, and wristbands. You can literally mix and match, adding what you like until you get exactly what you what. Individual components are priced separately, so you can not only build a style you like, but you can do it for a price that is equally agreeable.
Fossil's personalized options do not begin or end with the Watch Bar, or your ability to create a watch that suits your tastes. For the sports fan there are watches sporting the logos of your favorite NCAA and NFL teams. Fossil also has a large line of collectible watches featuring some of the most popular characters in pop culture. From Batman to Elvis, Snoopy to Star Wars; Fossil has a wide range of collectible watches for the fan of nearly anything.
For those with tastes that lean toward contemporary, designer looks, there is a Fossil watch for them too. Fossil has teamed with people like Frank Gehry, Philippe Starck, Michael Kors, and Marc Jacobs, to make designer watches at affordable price points. Even the technophile can find a Fossil that will scratch the technological itch. The Fossil wrist PDA and its LCD touch-screen allow you to access your calendar, personal planner, and much more.
Affordable quality, stylish looks, and a price that anyone can afford; it is no wonder that there is a Fossil watch for nearly any budget, taste, or occasion.

Article Title: Bring Your Treasures Back To Life With Watch Repair

Many of us wear one that our grandfather used to wear. Or it was your grandmother's? Or it belonged to a favorite aunt who once kept her schedule by the hands of this heirloom. Passing down watches from generation to generation is a common practice. Sometimes the watches are valuable, in other instances their value is purely sentimental, but in either case the watch can be a family treasure that will continue to spread joy to its bearer. However, like all mechanical things a watch can break down, and when it does you are left with two options: leave the watch in a drawer collecting dust, or take it to someone who specializes in watch repair in order to bring it back to life.
If you have a watch that needs repair – and it does not have to be a watch of sentimental value – then the first thing you need to do is decide if the watch is worth the cost of the repairs. Depending on the age of the watch, and the availability of replacement parts, watch repair can cost as little as a few dollars and as much as hundreds. Once you assess the cost and benefit of proceeding with repairs, next you need to determine if your watch is truly repairable.
Believe it or not, older watches are more easily repaired than watches that are much newer. Old watches relied on mechanical movements in order to keep track of time, and although the intricate, tiny gears may be difficult and expensive to repair, at the very least they are possible to repair at a reasonable cost. More modern watches with quartz movements or watches that were inexpensive – even when initially purchased – are simply not worth the time and money needed for repairs.
If you need to find someone who is competent in watch repair then it is best to arm yourself with some information that will help you make the best decision. When you are looking for a watchmaker to do watch repair make sure they are familiar with the type of watch you own, and also be certain that they are willing to work on your watch before you make a trip to see them, or mail your watch to them.
Other important questions to ask are: Is a free estimate provided? Will the watchmaker guarantee the work for a length of time after the work is done? How long will the work take? Will the watchmaker fully disassemble the watch and clean it as part of the watch repair?
Remember, the best watchmaker may not be the one who lives close to you. A distant watchmaker is only a post office away. Protect yourself by finding qualified watchmakers; the American Watchmaker-Clockmaker Institute (AWI) can help. Before taking – or mailing – your watch to any watchmaker, be sure to document its condition and serial numbers through photographs so that you can protect your investment as well as settle any possible disputes about the nature of the work.
Lastly, you can prevent the need for watch repair by having regular maintenance performed on your watch. Just like a car, a regular tune up, cleaning, and oiling, will keep your watch running well and help you avoid the need for watch repair.

So you have decided to take up tennis? Or maybe you are content to be a spectator but you would like to expand your knowledge of the game. There are a lot of variables to tennis, from the proper clothes to the equipment, from the rules to the players, but there are some constants in the game too.
At seventy-eight feet long from baseline to baseline, and twenty-seven feet wide – thirty-six feet for doubles matches – the size of the tennis court is one of those constants, and one can learn a lot about the game simply by understanding this field of play.
While the size of a tennis court never changes, the surface of the court can vary from location to location. There are three basic types of surfaces on which tennis is played, and each surface dictates a particular style of play.
Clay courts are made of crushed stone, brick, or shale, and are usually reddish orange in color, although they can be green as well. Clay courts are considered slow courts where balls tend to bounce higher and more slowly than on other surfaces. Consequently, points often last longer on clay courts as players tend to stay near the baseline – the line farthest from the net – and play defensively because it is so difficult to simply blast one by their opponent.
Clay courts are more prevalent in Europe and South America than they are in the United States. Of the professional Grand Slam tournaments only the French Open – or the Tournoi de Roland-Garros as it is officially known – is played on a clay surface.
The second kind of playing surface that one would find on a tennis court is grass. Rarely seen because of their high maintenance costs, grass courts are grown on firmly packed soil, much like a golf green. Of all the playing surfaces, grass presents the most variables to players.
Wear and tear, moisture, firmness of soil, and the length of time the grass has grown since being mowed all play a role in the playing characteristics of a grass court. Despite these variables, grass court players can usually expect the ball to bounce low forcing the players to get to the ball faster if they are to have a chance at a return; hence, grass courts are fast courts.
Successful grass court players typically play a serve and volley style of game where they quickly rush to the net after serving in hopes of forcing their opponent to hit a fast and perfect return; not easy on a fast, grass court. The most famous grass court is most certainly Centre Court at Wimbledon, home of The Championships, Wimbledon, a Grand Slam event and the oldest event in championship tennis.
Faster than clay courts yet slower than grass courts, hard courts are the most common type of tennis court. Constructed of cement or synthetic materials, hard courts vary in speed and bounce, but generally fall in the middle of the spectrum on both fronts. Hard courts are also the most conducive to all styles of play and, unlike grass or clay, they do not provide significant advantage or disadvantage to players with different styles.
Consequently, hard courts are often considered to provide the fairest test of all around skill. The United States Open and Australian Open are both played on hard courts, although the US Open uses an acrylic surface while the Australian Open utilizes a synthetic surface. Indoor courts are a variable of hard courts that are usually made of cement, wood, or even artificial turf. They typically have similar playing characteristics that are similar to other variations of hard courts.
Now that you understand the different surfaces that can be found in tennis you can use that knowledge to enhance your strategies on the court, or your appreciation for the game as a spectator. Either way, you must understand the tennis court in order to fully understand tennis.

Often we are quick to label the feelings that we have on a daily basis; someone who is feeling sad may say they are feeling depressed; someone who is worried about a particular incident may describe it by saying they are having an anxiety attack. These words have become the vernacular of a generation; so much so, in some cases, that we have a difficult time recognizing and defining what symptoms could really be related to clinical conditions. There are many people who experience anxiety in a severe and persistent basis; and others who would be diagnosed as experiencing depression. But what most people don't realize is that anxiety and depression are connected more often than not.
Depression differs from periods of sadness because of its intensity and frequency. Depression is often a persistent state of melancholy that colors activities of daily life. It can be triggered by many events or environmental factors – or by nothing at all. In some cases heredity or changes in the physical body can be the greatest cause of depression. In either case, the feelings associated with depression are often the same.
Sufferers report feelings of intense sadness, apathy, irritability, and negativity. There are also physical symptoms that those who are depressed report experiencing including stomach problems, insomnia or constant fatigue, lack of appetite, headache, nausea, and general pain throughout the body. In some cases the feelings are so powerful that they render the sufferer incapable of going about normal activities.
Anxiety is defined by persistent and severe feelings of panic and fear – either in a general sense or in response to a particular event or situation. Anxiety is considered to be an umbrella term under which different kinds of anxiety fall including generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, phobias, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Anxiety, like depression, can manifest itself through physical symptoms such as difficulties in breathing, increased heart rate, diarrhea, vomiting, sweating, shaking, and more.
Anxiety and depression can easily be co-occurring – meaning that they occur together with their own separate and independent symptoms; or comorbid – meaning they occur together and their symptoms overlap. Researchers have even studied the existence of anxiety and depression together and found that over half of the people who experience major depression also experience severe and persistent anxiety.
The connection is so prevalent between anxiety and depression that clinicians have developed terms that can help them diagnosis their patients who are presenting with a myriad of symptoms. For instance, agitated depression refers to a depressive state that actually presents as anxiety including feelings of general panic and fear. Akathitic depression is a depressive state that also presents as anxiety but does not include feelings of panic.
In addition, it has been found that ongoing feelings of anxiety can actually trigger depression. And doctors have noticed that where there's smoke there is often fire. Persistent feelings of panic and apprehension can cause sufferers to experience mild to severe depression. Researchers are still studying the links between anxiety and depression and their commingling effect on each other.
What is clear, however, is that anxiety and depression can be managed and treated through a variety of therapies and medication that have found great success in the marketplace. Often when the overall feeling of anxiety is removed, the depression will lift as well. If you are experiencing any feelings of anxiety and depression it is important to immediately see your doctor so an appropriate treatment plan can be put into motion.

Article Title: Are Formica Countertops Right For Your Kitchen?

You are about to finish your dream home and you are looking at Formica countertops for your kitchen. But are Formica countertops the right choice for you? Do you want a durable countertop that will not chip or stain easily. Or are you on a budget and you are looking to cut costs by saving money on the price of the countertops. What will drive your decision between Formica countertops or stone or laminate countertop?
Formica countertops are made of laminate and Formica is the brand name of the material. The Formica Corporation, which began in 1913, is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
For a while almost every home in America had a Formica countertop unless they had the money to use a more expensive surface like granite of concrete. Home builders, housewives and interior decorators are attracted to Formica countertops because you can find them in almost any color to match a home owner's decor.
In June of 2006, the Formica corporation added exciting new colors to its line of Formica countertops. These new colors moved away for traditional countertops that mirrored colors found in natural materials such as stone and granite. According to a press release from the Formica Corporation, the new Formica countertop colors reflected man-made colors. The colors for the Formica countertops ranged from metallic to gray to bright colors from the Art Deco period. There are some Formica countertops that look like their more expensive countertops, such as granite or concrete.
But Formica countertops are not as durable as granite or concrete countertops. The laminate surface can be a challenge to clean. For light stains, Formica countertops can be cleaned with mild soap and water. If it is a tough stain, try baking soda and a household cleaner. The downside is if it is a tough stain, using an abrasive cleaning solution will damage the Formica countertop. If you have questions as to how to handle a stain, you can look at the manufacturer's instructions that came with your Formica countertop.
While cleaning Formica countertops is easy, keeping them free from cuts, scratches and burns is not. If a can falls out of your cabinet, it can damage the surface of your Formica countertop by chipping it. You will have to use a cutting board when preparing dinner to prevent cuts. You will also want to keep hot pans off the Formica countertops to protect them from burns.
The downside to Formica countertops often outweigh the main advantage to many homeowners and builders-price. Many new homeowners turn to Formica countertops not for the design or color, but simply because they are reasonably priced. Formica countertops run about $7 to $20 per square foot, while granite countertops are about $70 to $100 per square foot. You can check prices and special offers from home improvement stores for the best deals. Ultimately, the homeowner will have to make the choice between a more expensive granite or concrete countertop or the less expensive Formica countertop.

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
With each passing year the costs of health insurance sprint higher and higher. In recent years the annual increases in health insurance costs have outpaced wages, inflation, and the stock market, and there is reason to believe that this trend will continue in the coming years. As health insurance costs continue to place added strain on household budgets and the economy as a whole, some cost reducing strategies have emerged in order to combat this condition. One of those strategies is a High Deductible Health Plan in conjunction with a Health Savings Account.
A High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) is a health insurance plan that has lower premium payments and a higher deductible than most conventional health plans. In short, a HDHP saves you a lot of money unless you become sick, in which case your out-of-pocket expenses can be thousands of dollars per year, or more. HDHPs generally provide coverage only for expensive, and usually serious, conditions.
It is for that reason that HDHPs are commonly referred to as catastrophic health insurance plans. While HDHP coverage in the event of a catastrophic condition is important, and can save a family from financial ruin, the insured are left unprotected in the event of less serious conditions. HDHPs do not insure you against the very real possibility of thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket expenses, so the Federal Government has provided a way to help individuals and families save money for that purpose. Those who participate in qualified High Deductible Health Plans are eligible to open a tax advantaged Health Savings Account.
Unlike traditional savings vehicles, a Health Savings Account allows taxpayers to make tax free contributions to the account. In other words, any funds contributed to the account are not subject to income tax. The tax advantages come at a cost, however, and account owners can only use the funds in the account to pay for qualified health expenses.
Contributions to a Health Savings Account come in the form of deposits from the account holder or, in many cases, from their employer as part of their compensation package. Under 2007 law, there is a statutory limit on deposits, and the maximum annual contributions to a Health Savings Account are $2850 for individuals, and $5650 for families.
Withdrawing money from a Health Savings Account is very similar to making a withdrawal from a traditional savings or checking account. In fact, some Health Savings Accounts provide checks or debit cards that can be used to pay for services at the point of sale. As long as the payments are used for qualified expenses then the funds will remain untaxed.
Examples of qualified payments are deductibles and co-payments, as well as expenses that are generally not covered by health insurance, including but not limited to things such as dental, vision, chiropractic, and many over-the-counter medications. Funds that are not used for qualified expenses become subject to income tax and also incur a 10% penalty. Disabled persons or persons over the age of 65 can withdraw funds from their Health Savings Account for any reason without penalty, although only funds used for health expenses will remain tax free.
The advantages to a Health Savings Account in conjunction with a High Deductible Health Plan are obvious, and together they can provide protection against catastrophic illness at an affordable premium rate. However, these accounts are not for everyone and interested parties should carefully consider their options before enrolling.
Everyone can appreciate the allure of lower premiums, but can you afford a $1000 or $2000 payment in order to have an important test or procedure done? It is the opinion of several prominent health associations that utilization of a Health Savings Account is likely to benefit only the young and healthy, and as people get older they are more likely to be harmed than helped.
In order for a Health Savings Account and HDHP to effectively protect you from loss while still serving your day-to-day health needs, it is imperative that you have funds available to help cover out-of-pocket expenses should you incur them. People who do not have available funds tend to delay treatment in fear of a medical bill that they may not be able to afford, and such delays can have an adverse effect on their long term health. That reality is the reason that a Health Savings Account is so important to people who subscribe to a High Deductible Health Plan, and it is the reason that the Federal Government has a vested interest in assisting those savings through tax advantages.

Unless you happen to own a boat, you may not realize how many different kinds of boat seats are available to boat owners. Boat seats are important, not only for the comfort of your passengers, but also because it would be dangerous for passengers to remain standing while navigating rough waters, or even most harbor and coastline waters.
Boat seats are called by a variety of names, and can be known as fighting or fishing chairs, Captain's boat seats, drop away seats and bucket boat seats. Some seats come in bench designs and others are collapsible. A leaning post is also considered a boat seat, and offers standing passengers something to hang on to when needed.
Boat seats can also be custom designed and manufactured, so it's really up to the boat owner to decide on fabric, colors and styles. Of course, fabrics that will stand up to harsh sunlight and salty water are a must, and your local boat parts manufacturer or supplier will be able to determine which fabrics are suitable for your boat seats and which are not.
Some boat seats are entirely upholstered while others come in a combination of wood and steel, or steel and cushions, and some are hard while others are soft. Boat seats can come with or without armrests, and some are padded, others not. Hundreds of designs are available through most Internet boat suppliers and catalogs.
Some boat seats are specially designed for deep-sea fishing seating, while other types are designed for mere comfort. Foldaway boat seats are popular with captain's who don't have an excess of boat decking, and can be stowed below decks when not in use.
Boat seats are necessary accessories for any boat. When shopping for boat seats, make sure that the materials used to construct the seats are durable and long lasting, and if possible, ask for marine grade vinyl. The stitching used in boat seats is as important as the fabrics used to create them, as salt water, rain and sun damages many threads and will increase wear and thinning.
If possible, ask for Gortex thread to be used when assembling your boat seats and cushions. Seats and cushions can also be designed with medium, firm or extra firm padding foam, so you may even want to use a variety on your boat, especially if you normally have passengers on board.
If wood is going to be used in the construction of your boat seats, and show, make sure it's pressure treated. Likewise, ensure that steel bolts or staples used in the construction of your boat seats are stainless steel to prevent rust and unsightly rusting streaks.
Boat seats are accessories that insure not only the comfort of your passengers, but also serve to add a bit of personality to your boat. Not to be overlooked or ignored, boat seats can be both functional and decorative, and when looking for seating arrangements for your passengers, check out the wide variety of cushions and boat seats available at your local boating supply store.

Many grade school and middle school's offer music programs in their curriculum. In finding musical instruments shopping places, parents will automatically assume that any music store in town will have a variety of musical instruments that they can rent for the school year.
These methods of finding musical instruments have proven challenging to some parents because music stores offer musical instruments for students through rental plans that require monthly payments, that end up with the parent not owning the equipment they are paying for. In finding musical instruments shopping places, they prefer to look for stores that will let them buy the instrument outright.
The music stores are very helpful to parents in finding musical instruments shopping places that will allow them to purchase new and used musical instruments but the prices for some of these musical instruments is quite high and parents do not think they can afford them. The cleaning services offered by some of these musical instruments retail on an hourly basis, and the unknown costs lead parents away from buying a musical instrument for their child to use at school.
In finding musical instrument places, parents are afforded the opportunity to gain a slight cultural taste of complete collections of musical instruments that are from around the world. They get a history lesson on the development of the musical instruments and find out about famous musician that got to develop their talents on small instruments that are like the ones they are considering buying.
There are newsletters at many music stores that offer great places to go and help parents in finding musical instruments shopping places that they can afford. Some of these outlets sell musical instruments that are well below the asking price of the instruments they have found in music stores. These outlets might only offer the musical instrument, with no case or accessories to go with it.
In their efforts to locate musical instruments, parents use the Internet in finding musical instruments shopping places that have virtual storefronts, but offer exquisite prices and guarantees on the quality of musical instruments in their inventories. Some of these online retailers even offer catalogues that parents can order to see all of the instruments in their shops.
In finding musical instruments shopping places, parents can find those that focus on selling the exact instrument that they are interested in, and not be bothered by pictures and descriptions of instruments that their children will never try to play. This exclusivity provides the parents with the opportunity to focus on pricing and differences in the musical instruments offered for their child to use at school.
Some prices might differ only a few dollars, and the parents can identify these differences very quickly when the website features only one instrument. They can also take a quick glance at all of the cases, cleaners, and sheet music that is available with each musical instruments. The low inventories make finding musical instruments shopping places that sell only one type of instrument much more convenient for a bargain shopping parent of a promising band student.

Hormonal imbalance may be the primary cause of acne but what you eat may also have a positive or negative effect on your acne problem. Many of us believe that eating certain kinds of food could be a cause of acne. However, the researches conducted in this regard have concluded that food do not necessarily cause acne though some kinds of food can help prevent acne and assist to get rid of acne.
The foods that one should avoid if one is prone to acne outbreaks are those that are high on saturated fats because such foods can make the skin oily and trigger acne outbreak. This means that you have to stay clear of meats and dairy products because they are very rich in saturated fats. This does not mean that you have to remove it from your diet completely. You just have to restrict their intake. And if you have been told that chocolates cause acne outbreak, rest assured there is no final word on that.
{mosgoogle right} The researches conducted into acne-chocolate relationship did not find any direct relation between the two. But that does not mean you can eat as much chocolate as you want because the researches have failed to establish a connection between the two, there is no denying the fact that chocolates contain saturated fats in high proportions. And saturated fats can cause acne outbreaks. So, you may eat chocolate, but eating to your heart's content may worsen your acne problem.
It has been proved that iodine encourages acne. Therefore, if you like seafood or chips or other such food that are rich in salt, it is better that you avoid them.
That was about the foods that are best avoided. But there are some foods that might help you fight acne. Among them, the foods that have higher protein content are particularly useful.
Why and how these foods work is not clear yet, but it has been found that high protein foods decrease the production of certain enzymes that cause excessive oil secretion. Therefore, when the production of oil is decreased the clogging of pores also decline which relieves the acne problem.
Water intake must be increased, and if you like tea, start drinking green tea because green tea has been found to impose effective check on oxidation process, which helps the body fight acne better.

Concrete has long been used in building, for stairs, and so much more. The functions that concrete can have vary greatly, as it is a widely used product. However, decorative concrete brings out a whole new use for concrete.
Concrete can be used as a decoration such as in walls, lawn accessories, floors, countertops, and more.
Embedding Personal or Decorative Items –
With decorative concrete you can have a countertop completely personalized by having your personal affects embedded in the concrete such as keepsakes that have a special sentimental value for you. You could also use your favorite items such as seashells from your favorite beach, or even from childhood, embedded in your concrete countertops.
Colorful, Decorative Concrete –
We often think of concrete as being gray in color. However, when using concrete as a decorative material iron oxides can be mixed into the concrete to create colors such as yellow, black and red. Of course, the specific hue of those colors (yellow, black and red) can be different depending on how dark or how bright you want them to be.
Decorative Concrete Stamps –
Hey, the stars in Hollywood do it, so why not you? When the concrete is still wet you can have certain designs stamped into the concrete to create a variety of different styles. You could also use stamping to create a stone or brick style to your concrete.
Decorative concrete can have so many different uses, and concrete is a wonderful choice for your home because it is so strong, easy to care for, and will last probably longer than your home itself. You can even change anything you want with the decorative concrete you already have in your home by making different colors, adding slabs to create something new and different. Nothing you do with decorative concrete has to stay there forever. You can change it at a later time if you decide that you want to do that.
You can change the color of your existing concrete by using acid staining, which creates a chemical reaction that changes the color of the concrete, or you can use concrete dyes. However, many people are turning to acid staining their concrete because of the fading effects concrete dyes can have. It was found that sunlight made the colors fade with concrete dyes if the concrete was left outside, or if sunlight were to hit a portion of your concrete wall or floor.
This is a versatile and semi permanent way to decorate your home. Decorative concrete walls, countertops, lawn accessories, and floors can be a great choice for you and your home.
