Do you love barbecues and outdoor picnics in your backyards? Well, who doesn't? But the menace of bugs and flies can often restrict you from having a rocking time. Until just recently the only reliable way to kill a fly was using be with a flyswatter. As you no doubt have experienced firsthand, the fundamental problem with this method is that flies can sense the air movement of the swatter and fly away at the last instant.
Now modern technology has the solution to getting rid of flies in your home with the Electronic fly swatter. This handheld pest controlling device gives a brief but powerful current or electric shock when the insect is in range. They are designed to kill insects quickly and cleanly and they never miss.
The Charcoal Companion Electronic fly swatter has been specifically designed to keep bugs absent from your next barbecue. All this can be done without using any kind of unsafe insect sprays. This model has been designed on very similar lines of the flyswatter. It is technically a handheld bug zapper, which has been given a cool shape of tennis racket. With the device you can now kill insects as they come in contact with the electric current. As any bug or insect touches the surface of the racket "net", it gets electrified.
Basically this zapper operates on only two AA batteries. So you are saving on power and avoiding the hassles of using a manual bug swatter. Also, this device has been created for safety and activates only if you press two buttons on the handle, simultaneously. Hence, you need worry about your kids or pets running over it or getting hurt because of it. This bug zapper is absolutely safe for both indoor and outdoor use. But you should remember to be careful when you switch it on. This swatter has a tendency to cause a shock once it activates, even though it's minor. It can scare some people. All of those who want to practice some arm exercises or want to be armchair athletes can try out the Charcoal Companion Electronic fly swatter.
It features a new sport of choice with a kick. All kinds of unwary winged creatures like insects and bugs, within your range can be swatted. When you look at the Charcoal Companion Electronic fly swatter on first glance you would notice that it is not a tennis racket. But it is actually a swatter, which helps you to improve your back hand without a ball. You can make sure that all the bugs roaming around the house can be swatter with the Bug Zapper. The wires "go live" only when you want, but don't consume any power other wise. Instead of using the unsafe insect spray or similar kinds of bug repellents opt for the safer swatter. It has been proven that inhaling these repellents can be harmful for your body. So, it is recommended that you choose simpler and easier options to get rid of the bugs and have a great barbecue.

Starting your own crepe business may seem challenging but it can be very rewarding if done the right way. As with any other food business, you have to know how to go about it properly. There are many factors to consider before starting a business, especially one that specializes in food.
Crepes are basically the French version of tortillas; they are similar to pancakes except that they are made very thin. They are easy to make provided that you have the right tools for it. A crepe mixture is usually made of wheat flour that is mixed with butter, eggs and some milk. All these ingredients are relatively low cost especially if you get them from a reputable supplier. Here are some things to consider if you plan to start your own crepe business.
Consider the location. You have to find a strategic location for you business. It has to be a place where people would want to go to and it should be accessible. You should also consider how much it will cost you to lease the place so that you have all the your necessary expenditures listed down.
Think about your target demographic. The kind of people you want your business to cater to will, of course, determine how much you will sell your crepes for. This goes hand in hand with the location.
Create a menu. Crepes are usually desert food, so you have to think of what kind of crepes you would like to have available on your store. If you want to cater to the upper class, then you should sell your crepes for higher prices, this also means that you cannot cut back on your ingredients' costs. Think of the kind of fillings you want your crepes to contain and think of appealing and appetizing names to give each selection.
One of the most important considerations you should take into account before starting a crepe business is the capital you will need. This will determine everything, from the location to the type of store and to the kind of menu you will have. The bigger your capital the nicer the store and the more expensive the ingredients.
You should also think of a theme for your store. This will determine the overall design of your store and how it will appeal to your customers. As much as possible, stick to one theme that goes with your menu. It will make it appealing to your customers if you have a theme.
Starting your own crepe business can make you a lot of money if you take into careful consideration the aforementioned factors. It would also help to do some research especially when it comes to the kind of competition you have. If the location you choose has a lot of other businesses with the same nature as yours, you have to be able to provide your customers with a unique menu with a wide selection of crepes, as this will give you an edge over your competitors.

Most people who are conscious about their weight keep a bathroom scale at home so that they can constantly check whether they have gained weight and to check whether they were successful in shaving off those unwanted pounds from working out. There are many types of bathrooms scales out in the market but one that has gained a great amount of popularity are talking bathroom scales.
Talking bathroom scales are not only digital but they can also talk. This makes it easier for people who have a hard time reading what is written on the scale and those who don't want to bend down just to read the results. Once you step on the scale and the weight is registered, it will automatically tell you the result eliminating the need for you to read it yourself. There are many varieties of this kind of bathroom scale. There are scales with the option to turn the talking mechanism on or off and there are those that have large screens that go hand in hand with the talking mechanism. Whatever type you choose, talking bathroom scales can be incredibly useful.
If you are really conscious about your weight, you can get a bathroom scale that talks. These scales can explain to you the results of your measurements based on your BMI. You just have to input important information like your height and your age for the scale to determine whether you are underweight, overweight or if your weight is just right for you. Once you have your personal information stored, the bathroom scale can automatically calculate your BMI.
Talking bathroom scales also have different capabilities. Some can accommodate only 150 kilograms or 330 pounds while others can support up to 250 kilograms or 550 pounds. For the average person, a 150 kg scale-capacity should be enough since most people who don't have weight problems don't go over 150 kg. You should choose your scale to fit your needs and the needs of those who are going to use it. These scales can be very accurate so you don't have to worry about the accuracy problems that other weighing scales have. They are also quite durable so you can be assured that they will last for years.
If you are wondering where you can get a hold of one, most wellness and fitness stores sell talking bathroom scales. You can even choose from different varieties and different brands. While they are relatively more expensive than your average digital scale, they are worth the investment especially if you get one that can calculate your BMI. This device can help you keep you keep a constant watch on your weight and overall health.
The number of obesity cases these days have grown at such an alarming rate that it has become imperative for a lot of people to keep their weight in check at the risk of developing cardiovascular problems. Those who don't have bathroom scales at home usually don't bother to check their weight anymore and this can be detrimental to one's health. Talking bathroom scales are also ideal for the blind and those who are visually impaired since the results are read to them automatically.

Flies are pests that can be very difficult to get rid of. Once they get inside your house, you will have a very difficult time trying to get rid of them. They can also be very annoying and they can bug you while you're trying to relax or while you're trying to enjoy your evening meal. Aside from that, flies can also pose a risk to your health as well as to the health of everyone in your house. These insects are carriers of viruses and bacteria that can cause a wide variety of diseases.
If you happen to leave food around your home, flies can cause it to spoil in a relatively short period of time. They can also lay eggs on various food sources to multiply. If left unchecked, flies can multiply at a very fast rate. The electronic fly swatter is one of the more recent inventions that can help you get rid of pesky flies around your home.
It takes time to kill a fly using a traditional fly swatter. In fact, using an old fly swatter to kill flies is almost impossible for some people. It can take a lot of time and effort just to kill a single fly. Aside from that, you can also ruin beautiful linens and clean curtains if you make the mistake of hitting the fly while it is flying over tablecloths and curtains. Flies are very good at sensing the movement of the air around them. This is why they are so adept at dodging swats with a fly swatter. Even when you think you have a fly right where you want it to be, it can still avoid your strike right at the very last moment. This can be very annoying and tiring. Thankfully, the electronic fly swatter has been developed.
An electronic fly swatter is a handheld electrical device that can be used to easily get rid of pesky flies. They look a lot like tennis rackets and they are specifically designed to kill flies. You also use them like tennis rackets but instead of hitting a tennis ball, you will have to hit flies. When any part of the insect touches the metal grid of the electronic fly swatter, a stong current is delivered that can instantly kill the fly. These devices also come with their own rechargeable batteries. You can find a swivelling plug at the base of the swatter and you can use this to plug it into any wall outlet when the batteries are running low.
You will be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use an electronic fly swatter. It also dispatches annoying insects cleanly. While the flies die, their bodies are not crushed so you can just sweep them away with a broom and forget they ever existed. You can also use your electronic fly swatter to kills other unwanted pests like spiders, moths and mosquitoes. This device is also very safe to use. While the current is enough to kill insects, it is not strong enough to harm humans.

Training for a triathlon is a great way to get in shape or maintain your motivation to stay in shape. There are 4 primary types of triathlons to choose from: the sprint triathlon, the Olympic triathlon, the half Ironman distance and the full Ironman distance. Due to trademark restrictions on the name Ironman you'll see many longer triathlons referred to as "iron distance".
For your first triathlon you should focus on the "sprint" distance. This is typically between 400-800 meters swimming in a pool or lake, 20 kilometers of bicycling and 5 kilometers of running. You will probably wonder how much training you should do for a first triathlon. It depends on your goals but at a minimum you should train for each sport 1 time per week. If your schedule permits training twice per week for each sport will help you feel more comfortable during the race and after the race. You should focus on working up to the distance of each leg in your training cycles. There are many free online resources for a sprint triathlon training plan.
Think about which of the 3 events is your strongest and then which one is your weakest. Give your weaker event more focus in your training. One of the biggest training mistakes you can make is focusing too much on your favorite event. If you have difficulty running, then spend a bit more time doing that. If you have a swimming background then you don't need to focus as much on that event.
For many people swimming tends to be their weakest event. But it doesn't have to be for you. Most public swimming facilities offer lessons for different levels of ability. Check with the swim team at your local pool to see if they offer private lessons. If you are really ambitious you could consider joining the local US Masters Swimming team. A great way to boost your swim training is to use swim fins. This will give you some added propulsion to help you stay up on the water and focus on your proper freestyle technique. There are even some great training videos available that teach proper swimming technique.
Two important things to practice you might not have considered are running after riding your bike and the dreaded 4th event "the transition". If you have never tried running after biking it will feel pretty strange at first. Your legs will be tried of spinning circles and you force them to switch directions. Take time to practice getting off your bike quickly, putting away your cycling gear, and then putting on your running gear. This will help simulate your transitions during the race. It seems so simple but when you're tired and in a hurry you can save valuable time with a fast transition.
Do not get too hung up on fancy triathlon gear such as heart rate monitors, aero wheels, or even a carbon fiber bike. You can spend thousands of dollars on fancy bike but you do not need to for your first triathlon. In fact you could even borrow a friend's bike instead as long as it basically fits you. You could even ride a mountain bike or hybrid bike if you prefer. You will need a bike helmet so make sure that fits well. And do not make a rookie mistake like I did once by leaving it in the car before the race starts. You will not be allowed to leave the transition area after the swim to start the bike course without a helmet.
Depending on the size of the race it will begin with a mass swim start. Some larger ones will break up the swim start into smaller waves based on age group. Sometimes you'll be allowed to walk or run into the water and other times you'll start already in the water. If you're not a comfortable swimmer you should start at the back of the group to avoid the initial commotion at the start. It can be rough and sometimes you can get accidentally kicked or pushed or even have your goggles knocked off.
When you come out of the water you'll be entering into the transition area where your bike and run equipment is stored for what's commonly referred to as T1. After you towel off your feet you slip on your bike shoes if you have clipless pedals on your bike otherwise you'll just put on your running shoes if you have regular style pedals. Take a moment to eat part of an energy bar or eat an energy gel and drink a bit of your favorite sports drink. Take your time on the bike course so you can enjoy your first triathlon. On the bike you can also drink more. Try to take a few sips every 15 minutes to maintain your hydration level.
As you complete the bike leg you'll come back to the transition area for what is known as T2. Take care to rack your bike properly because you can be penalized if it falls off the rack. If you are wearing cycling shoes take them off with care to maintain your balance and not fall over as your legs will be tired. Some people will even just site on the ground to give their legs a momentary rest. Put your run shoes on, take another energy gel, and a few more sips of an energy drink before you head out of the transition area on to the run course.
Take it easy on the run course and maintain the same pace you did in training. This will ensure you finish comfortably and not experience any problems during the run leg. During a sprint Triathlon there is usually at least 1 water station where you can get a drink. One technique to drinking while running is to pinch the top of the closed on one side to help minimize splashing otherwise just walk while you drink your water.
Crossing the finish line after your first triathlon is a real milestone. It can be a powerful feeling of accomplishment. Congratulations you are now part of an exclusive club. You are a triathlete.

Do you leave work and feel pain in your neck and back? The solution may be right at your fingertips. Many people think that if their hands do not hurt then it is their chair that is causing problems. Then they change chairs and they realize it is something else causing the problem. People never realize the pain starts with the fingers. Typing day after day with your hands in an uncomfortable position will eventually lead to strain in your hands, shoulders, back and neck.
As we become more dependent on computer technology injuries in the fingers, back, neck and other body parts are becoming more commonplace in the office due and long hours and repetitive tasks. The wrong posture of sitting, handling the mouse, level of the eye with the computer and even the way you type can lead to various kinds of injuries. What most individuals don't realize is that common problems like backaches or wrist pain can become serious or chronic disorders if they are not treated. Hence, if you in front of computer for any length of time it is vital to pay attention to these minor aches and pains.
With advancement of technology there has also been a rise in office related illnesses and injuries. A solution that helps to reduce such injuries would be ergonomics. The term ergonomics has been used to define a science, which helps to make life easier. Ergonomically devised chairs, tools, keyboards and even a computer mouse, help to reduce repetitive stress injuries. With computer and office ergonomics, the ergonomic keyboard has been specifically designed to reduce stress on your hands and wrists while enhancing your typing comfort and decreasing repetitive stress.
Those who experience pain or numbness in the wrists or hands should consider a wireless ergonomic keyboard. Pain in such areas is a common problem caused by the design of the traditional qwerty keyboards. With an ergonomic keyboard the keys are arranged to put less stress on the wrists and hands. Hence, the appropriate use of the keyboard would help to reduce this problem.
Doctors have observed that musculoskeletal problems can occur from using a keyboard incorrectly for too long a period of time. If you have been using the wrong kind of a keyboard for an extended period of time then some of the problems that you can experience include Synovitis, Tendonitis, Chronic arthritis, or Epicondylitis.
Even though an ergonomic keyboard can be priced slightly higher than a regular computer keyboard, in the long run it would be beneficial for your health. Setting up of the keyboard is easy as you just have to identify the connector to install the same. Most keyboards have a USB connector or a PS/2 connector. The wireless ergonomic keyboard is even easier to configure because there is no cable to connect. To get the maximum comfort level from your keyboard you should keep the chair in a comfortable position where your body can stay relaxed for extended periods of time.
Buying a wireless ergonomic keyboard, will be a great investment for your health and the benefits are tremendous. It will end the discomfort and pain you are feeling and your productivity will increase.

Article Title: Your Secret Weapon to Controlling Dust Mites

It is a known fact that dust mites are in our homes and number in millions, but are not visible to our eye. They can be found in any unprepared home which can lead to year-round allergies such as sneezing, watery eyes, itching, and skin rash. In addition to this in some cases there is also the risk of asthma and similar respiratory illnesses. The mites themselves are not the primary issue. The allergies come from a protein by the name of DER P1 which shows up their fecal remains.
These mites can be found in your pillows, mattresses, carpets, furniture, clothing and almost anywhere. You are probably not aware of this but mites survive and feed on dead human skin flakes. Sometimes washing all your clothes, sheets, and pillow cases in host water will help to get rid of them, but there is no guarantee that the dust mites will get killed in spite of the washing. Rotating your bedding and linens on a weekly basis will help.
Even though there is no complete solution to eliminate them you can try to inhibit their growth and reduce their numbers. There are a few simple and economical products available on the market which will help to kill the mites such as dust mite spray, but one of the easiest solutions that you can do is regular cleaning with a dust mite vacuum. It can be effective at controlling mites and reducing allergies. Basically carpets are known as one of the biggest reservoirs of mite allergen. Depending on the quality of your vacuum some mite allergen can escape from the vacuum itself. Even with a vacuum for dust mites there is no assurance that they would go away but using one you can reduce their exposure.
Studies of dust mite vacuums have shown through testing that the type of carpeting in your home and the technique with which you vacuum can have an impact on how well dust mites can be controlled. If you have worn carpets for example mite allergen can penetrate to all depths. However, using a newer Berber style of carpet with a loop pile will help keep them on the surface making it easier remove them with regular vacuuming.
There are certain kinds of vacuum cleaners that have designed specifically to help control mites and using a closed system they help contain allergens during vacuuming. There are several features that you should look for in a good dust mite vacuum. Sometimes there will be a pre-filter which helps prevent clogging of dirt and dust in the main filter. Special HEPA filters which ensure that the air emitted during vacuuming is free from allergens. Bag and motor components are completely sealed with the help of rubber gaskets which reduce chances of leakage of dust filled air.
These are just some of the simple ways through which you can reduce the amount of dust mites in the house. Rather than trying to cure the problem which would be challenging you should focus on minimizing their impact with regular cleaning and vacuuming.

With the advent of technology, computer systems have been growing smaller and smaller in size, to make it easier to carry them from one place to another. All new computing devices like laptops, palmtops, tablet PCs and even the smart phones are being made with the same goal of reducing the overall size and the weight of the product and allow the system to be carried around more easily.
This is particularly true when we look at the world of electronics where the advancement of technology according to Moore's law has resulted in the computers becoming smaller and more powerful every 18 months. We have seen the shift from large computers to smaller desktops and in recent times from desktops to laptops, and now we are slowly moving to tablet PCs or net books and smart phones.
All these innovations have created devices which are easy to carry and move around with the smaller size and reduced weight but there are tradeoffs emerging. For example the size of the computer keyboards has been reduced to allow more portability but if the keyboard is shrinks beyond a certain level, the keys will each become too small for the users to comfortably type on. Additionally on the best of these small devices, if the user has to work for extended periods of time typing long emails or writing large amounts of programming code, their fingers could become tired due to the small size of the keyboard. Moreover, the small size of the individual keys and the lack of distance between them also make the maneuvering and typing difficult and more prone to mistakes.
This has resulted in a lot of people wanting to have their own separate peripheral keyboard, which is a normal size keyboard so that they can work comfortably on their portable device or laptop. But in most cases, the keyboard is larger than the device and hence reduces the benefit of portability that the device provided in the first place. The solution to this problem is the invention of roll-up computer keyboards.
Portable computer keyboards are made from materials which are highly flexible in nature. These keyboards also called the roll up computer keyboards are actually flexible enough to be folded into a small package and carried around easily. When the user wants to make use of the peripheral device, these flexible computer keyboards can be unrolled into a full size keyboard, which can then be used comfortably.
The second biggest problem with technology is the impact that liquids can have on electronics and hence the portable computer keyboards are made from various water resistant polymers like silicone or polyurethane. Moreover, these keyboards are also sealed completely in rubber like material to allow for more flexibility and this material also makes the keyboard completely washable and hence water proof.
The only shortcoming of these portable computer keyboards is that sometimes they are soft and do not make any typing sound. There can be a period of adjustment for new users to get used to them.

Any kind of business that has a website knows the challenges involved with keeping visitors. However, keeping the visitor interested and engaged, and staying for considerably longer, is another important issue. There are many factors that play a role in both of those visitors behaviors. Attaining success with these areas will fully depend on your knowledge of your market and website conversion. You can easily find at least a dozen diverse aspects of your site, and each will perform their part in this operation. You could simply begin with site testing by carrying out the simple split test. Optimizing your online site for the stickiness factor is one thing we think most small businesses fail to do, successfully.
Perhaps you already know that your site has but two or three seconds to make a positive effect on a person. The end result will be whether that person keeps browsing or not, and that is simply how it is online. The place on your site that's above the fold on your home page is of specific value. That part of your site is of vital importance because that is what people will base their decision on, more or less. Make very sure the intent of your site, or what you do or deliver is clearly visible above the fold. The exclusive selling idea for your site must be obvious the moment people land on your home page. The most detrimental thing you can do is compel people to seek out or guess what your site is all about.
The style, colors and images used on your site will require to be determined by your product and market. There are huge differences with what diverse target audiences will put up with. Learn the best colors as well as compatible colors to use for your visitors and product. If you are doubtful, then make the new site and split test it with your older site. Also, you can simply try wondering like your market regarding what appeals to them. If your market is full of crazy energy then your tones can strengthen that aspect. However if the opposite scenario exists, then obviously you do not want to work with colors that generate feelings of high energy. There exists an entire body of information devoted to colors and moods, and it really is a good idea to get knowledgeable with it.
It is well known that a judgement and verdict will be made regarding your site in just several seconds. One thing you can do is intentionally place something above the fold that successfully captures attention. It is critical to make people desire to know more about your site and stay there longer. But do include some kind of copy with that graphic so people will make sure to read it. If you use a graphic, or picture, then be sure it is of very good quality and possesses something unique about it. The copy that is incorporated in that graphic image should make people very inquisitive to know more. This approach will buy you precious seconds that can develop into minutes. When you can do that, after that your chances immediately improve.

Marketing to your own list of clients has been a rewarding endeavor ever since the beginning. But if you have ever attempted and failed, then you comprehend that a list does not automatically give you money in your pocket. Probably the single greatest determining factor is developing strong relationships. When you attain that goal, then it boils down to applying smart list marketing management concepts. When that is accomplished, then you will be in a position to take pleasure from continued expansion and profits for a long time. If you are willing to discover the keys and do a lot more work than the next person, then you will stand to reap the benefits. We will discuss some of these methods, today, and you should make an attempt to learn more.
It is crucial to your business that you understand the idea that all people on your marketing and email list equate to potential and real valuation over time. It isn't going to matter, at first, the number of total products you have to offer in your overall business. All subscribers will usually stay with you for a typical or statistical duration of time, and you must ascertain how much they may hypothetically buy in that range of time. That is what you must find out because that allows you to make more intelligent marketing judgements. The ideal advertising position is not always to make a profit, initially, but rather to not gain or lose money due to the fact you know they will possibly buy from you on down the road.
Also, and this is vital, structure your list service so you will have the ability to move them into different lists but still remaining in the overall group. This is segmenting your list, and it has existed for very many years plus it might be highly profitable. Ideally, what you want to do is maintain offering products to your email list at an ever progressively higher price tag. Thus the new subscriber will buy your lowest priced products, and then you move that person into your customer/buyer list. Next you continue marketing to them, and the distinction is you will make new offers that cost more. This is just sort of a profit ladder wherein people progress as they spend more cash with you.
No question about it, you will need to put more effort into helping to make this happen. This also implies you will have to mail folks on each list a totally special set of marketing emails. This is very profitable if you get it all right, and accomplishing that is not difficult to do at all. Almost every marketer retains everyone on the same list apart from those marketers with practical knowledge. There is a very good possibility that you get emails for offers that you have already taken them up on; meaning you already ordered it once? That is a clear lack of list segmentation, and it is a waste of marketing time and work. It is a fact that existing customers are less difficult to sell to than people who have not, and that is another reason this works so well.

A personal note from Craig, a top network marketing producer, to Ted... a leader on my Australia team. It's a timeless message. Enjoy.
People often ask what it takes to be successful in Network Marketing. I have a short, simple answer: All you got.
Fortunately it doesn't take more than all you got. But it does take all you got. In fact, I'll suggest this business will be the hardest one you'll ever do, period.
And I'm qualified to make that statement. I've worked in the corporate world, run distribution companies, started a retail chain, Internet marketing, information entrepreneur.
I've consulted with literally hundreds of other entrepreneurs in all kinds of businesses. And can assure you, Network Marketing is harder than all of them!
Why? Quite a few reasons.
First, the essence of the business is leadership development. Not an easy thing to learn. Or teach. This takes tremendous people skills.
Because of that, MLM requires large amounts of personal growth and self-development. And working on yourself is tough work!
Other businesses you can get by on just skill, just talent or just money. Here you need heart. Guts. And love.
With Network Marketing, you have to go all in. You can start it part-time, you can start it with a limited commitment, you can start it not even believing it will work.
But to succeed at it, at some point you'll have to move from kindergarten to the big leagues. You'll have to go from a night or two a week, to four or five nights a week. You'll have to commit and you'll have to develop belief.
Here's why, Ted…
You can't really get anyone into our business. It doesn't work that way. You can only commit, develop that belief and become so passionate that people want to be a part of what you're doing.
MLM is like golf. The only person you compete with is yourself. The enemy isn't other companies. It's not negative prospects. And it's not government regulation, high prices, or back orders. The real enemy is your doubts and fears. It's what's between your ears.
Most people today doubt their beliefs and believe their doubts. You have to be different. And that means daily self-development. Keeping your dream in front of you. And making sure your dream is bigger than your fears.
Yeah, you can probably win a free cruise, get a bonus car and rake in some nice bonus checks. That would probably motivate you to go to a job every day. That would probably motivate you to do any one of those other businesses I named. But it's probably not enough to get you to do Network Marketing.
Because our business is a lot tougher than those. Our business means contacting prospects, driving to work with long distance lines, and sacrificing lots of pleasures early on for the long term. It means really getting out of your comfort zone and growing.
So your dream has to be even bigger. It has to include other people's dreams. Taking your eyes off of just yourself and looking how you can contribute in a meaningful way.
It's going to mean facing rejection and maybe ridicule. Facing your fears. Dealing with dropouts and no shows. Negative publicity, misperceptions and adversity.
We know every adversity has in it the seeds of a greater opportunity. But that opportunity is not automatic! It is there only if you make a conscious choice not to be a victim; a conscious choice to learn the lesson and find a new door to walk through. And remember, every room has a door.
Network Marketing is HARD. So why do it?
Because it will be the most rewarding business you ever do in your life. Yes it can give you those trips, car and bonus checks; it can get you free. But it also does so much more!
The confidence you develop, the skills you learn, the satisfaction you gain are priceless. Who you have to become to be successful in our business makes it all worth it.
And the joy that can only come from contribution!
When your new team member calls you screaming with excitement because they've sponsored their first person. The breakthroughs you witness when someone buys their first suit, makes their first presentation, or calls that prospect that scares them beyond measure. When one of your people conquers their fear in any way, it will bring you rewards you can't get anywhere else.
In our business you reach success by helping other people reach success. That is what gets you up at 6 am to do self-development, that is what gets you to pick up the phone, that is what keeps you awake driving home at 2 am from a meeting for a new person on your tenth level.
So yeah, it doesn't take more than you got. But it does take all you got. Just know it's worth it.
So find someone you respect and make them a promise that you will do what it takes to win. Ask them to hold you accountable. Then make yourself the same promise. After that, make a public declaration below in the comments. Are you up for that?
So mate, keep this and come back to it whenever the seed of doubt creeps in.
Start EVERY day with positive self-development. Don't answer your phone, answer the door, or leave the house until your consciousness is vibrating at thermonuclear level. Look in the mirror and tell yourself you are worthy.
Then go out and be amazing!
- Craig

You're hosting a party and want to break free from the same old chips, dips, finger sandwiches, and various foods on skewers. Take a bold step forward by wowing your guests with a delicious appetizer from the sea. Here are some great unique seafood recipes for your party.
Mini crab cakes
1 pound jumbo lump crab meat
3 slices white bread
1 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
1 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
1 large egg
Cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper
Vegetable oil, for frying
Drain crab meat and then squeeze out any excess liquid. Pick through the meat to make sure there are no shell parts. Beat the egg in a separate bowl. Cut crusts off the bread and break into very small pieces. Then add into the bowl with the egg. Mix in the other ingredients and fold together, being careful not to break up the crab meat. Form the mini cakes (about the size of a half dollar) in your hand and set on cookie sheet. When all of the mini crab cakes are formed, put the tray in the refrigerator for 1-24 hours, covered.
Fill a sauté pan with about one inch of oil and heat on medium high until hot, but not smoking. Carefully lay the crab cakes in the pan for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they're golden brown. You should only turn the cakes one time. Remove to paper towel to drain and then serve. Add a dip of store bought tartar or cocktail sauce or a packaged hollandaise sauce. Serve with plenty of sliced lemon wedges and parsley to decorate the platter.
Shrimp Ceviche in Cucumber Cups
2 English hothouse cucumbers
One half pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
4 limes, juiced
1 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
1 tbsp. fresh chopped chives
3 tbsp. finely chopped shallot
One fourth cup of chopped red pepper
One fourth cup of finely chopped celery
1 tsp. course sea salt
One fourth tsp. pepper
Cayenne pepper, to taste (optional)
2 tbsp. crème fraiche
Peel cucumbers and cut into one inch thick slices. Try to have about 15-16. Use a melon baller to scoop out the center of the cucumber without puncturing the bottom. Place cucumber cups on a tray until you're ready to fill and serve them.
In a glass bowl, combine the shrimp with all ingredients except the crème fraiche. Stir well, fully coating the shrimp with the lime juice. The acid in the juice will actually cook the shrimp as it sits in the refrigerator chilling for up to four hours.
Before serving, drain all of the liquid out and mix in the crème fraiche. If that's not available, you can substitute with sour cream. Place a spoonful of shrimp mixture in each cucumber cup and serve.
Fish Pakora (Indian style)
1 pound filet of white fish (flounder, cod, tilapia), cut into big chunks
Chickpea flour (also called besan or gram)
Half cup finely chopped onion
3 cloves of finely chopped garlic
One fourth tsp. powdered ginger
1 tsp. coriander
1 tsp. garam masala
Chili powder, to taste (optional, depending on level of heat desired)
Salt, to taste
Water, to thicken batter.
Mix everything from chickpeas through salt together. Slowly add water to form a batter the consistency of pancake batter. Dip fish pieces in the batter and deep fry. Remove to paper towel to drain and then serve with riata (yogurt sauce) and warm naan (bread.)

Everyone loves cake on their lips…but not on their hips. Candies and chocolate and icings are full of sugar and fat. Not everyone in attendance at your party will want to indulge on such a treat. You could be stuck with miles of cake or cupcakes that might go to waste because your guests are watching their waist. There are ways to have your cake and actually eat it too when you decorate your cake with fruit or other healthy toppings.
Fruit
Fruit is not only a healthier option than candy cake toppings, it's also colorful and provides various shapes and textures to your cake. Depending on the theme of your party and the colors that are dominant in your decorations, you can dress up any cake with fresh or dried fruit. Slice strawberries long ways, use wedges of star fruit, sprinkle blueberries or raspberries, or section oranges or mandarins for bright, vivid additions. If you decide to use fruits in a decorative manner on your cake, be aware that fresh fruit will moisten the cake and help it spoil quicker. You'll also want to make sure that the fruit flavors don't clash with each other, the cake itself, or any icing you choose to put on it. Stay away from fruits that oxidize too quickly (apples, pears, bananas) as no one wants to eat a cake with wilting brown fruit on top.
Fruit Jams
Have you ever wondered how your bakery gets those fruit-covered tarts to look so shiny and wet with flavor? The secret is…fruit jam. It's nature's paint. If you take apricot or raspberry jams, or any other flavors, and heat them in the microwave for a minute or so, it will form this vibrant and delicious glaze that you can dabble over fresh fruit or over a bare cake itself. Get a new paint brush ad become the DiVinci of your kitchen as you slather the sweetness over a pound or angel food cake. Try sugar-free jams to reduce calories even more.
Whipped Toppings
Instead of plopping gobs of fat-laden, sugary-sweet icing on top of a cake, you can use a simple ingredient fresh from your grocer's freezer: whipped topping. Cool Whip or generic store brands provide a sweety, yet less fattening icing to cupcakes, cookies, and cakes. Replace the heavier frostings with a layer of fat-free or reduced calorie whipped topping. You'll have to serve the dessert immediately after "icing" to ensure freshness. You won't miss out on any taste, even though you may save your waist.
Nuts
Nuts provide extra protein for us, so why not toss a handful of chopped favorites onto your next cake. German chocolate cakes slather on walnuts to the icing, but you can do it without the chocolate. Add coconut slivers, almonds, ground peanuts, roasted macadamia, or chopped pecans with your other decorations. Be careful, though, to inform your guests of the nut toppings as some people are allergic to tree nuts and ground nuts. Put a sign out next to your cake as an FYI.
No matter what kind of party you're hosting, you can find healthy alternatives to top your cake instead of the lardy icing.

Article Title: 5 Foods to Avoid Feeding to Babies

You are a happy mom and your baby is already trying some new and intriguing foods.
Knowing what to feed your baby is of crucial importance. A number of ingredients could be dangerous for the young and growing organism.
As a responsible parent, you will have to pay close attention to your child's diet. Certain foods that grownups enjoy could be dangerous for a young and growing organism. Keep on reading to discover more about the foods that you should avoid until your little one reaches a certain age.
Keep Food Gluten-Free
Gluten is a protein that the human body has difficulties digesting. Thus, your baby's diet should remain gluten-free until the little one becomes nine-month-old.
Gluten is largely contained in wheat. Some amounts can also be found in rye, barley and oats. Avoid giving your kid bread, pasta, oat meals and biscuits that contain flour made out of wheat.
Citrus Fruits
Everyone knows that citrus fruits are very important to our health. Lemons, oranges, grapefruits and tangerines contain large amounts of vitamin C, which is essential to the proper functioning of various bodily systems.
The baby's diet should contain no citrus fruits. These can be introduced for the first time when the kid becomes 1.
Citrus fruits have the potential to cause baby allergies. At the same time, they are very acidic and could irritate the delicate stomach lining.
Babies that are already suffering from allergies should start eating citrus fruits after they become 24-month-old.
Eggs
Babies that are younger than 18 months should not be given eggs.
Eggs happen to be a very controversial food. Some nutritionists believe that babies should be given eggs as soon as breastfeeding stops. Others turn down this claim and parents are left wondering what to do.
Despite all of its useful ingredients, the egg could lead to food allergies. The egg white contains proteins that are difficult to digest.
Further, the egg white's proteins are serious allergens. Start giving the baby eggs after the age of 18 months. Be careful and observe your kid's response. In case you notice allergy symptoms, consult your pediatrician immediately.
Cow's Milk
The protein contained in cow's milk is very difficult to digest and it happens to be one of the biggest allergens for young babies.
Infants should start drinking milk after they become 1. Keep in mind that one out of four children aged under one suffers from an allergy caused by milk. Be careful when introducing dairy products in your kid's diet. Begin with white cheese at the age of nine months. You can then introduce cottage cheese and yogurt. If your baby feels ok with these foods, you can move on to the introduction of milk.
Fish and Marine Foods
Fish undoubtedly is one of the healthiest foods on our planet. Yet, your baby should eat no marine products or food before becoming 1-year old.
Many types of fish and marine foods can cause allergies. Try giving your baby little amounts of fish and if you experience no problems, you can confidently add fish to your kid's weekly diet. It would be wise to wait longer before introducing more exotic sea foods.

Very often, cartoons and baby shower themes can also be a good source of ideas for room themes for kids. Just think about it – fairytales, favorite sports, ocean or tropical themes will all help you turn your kid's room into a wonderful place.
Favorite Fairytales
Kids love fairytales. Every kid has a favorite one, a favorite character and story. Use these as the kid's room theme.
Perform a little research before you get started. Which fairytales are mostly used for the making of nursery decorations? Do you plan to purchase the decorations or make those yourself?
Drawing the walls of the room is a task that remains far from complex. You need to get the right schemes to use and you need a little bit of artistic skills and aesthetic sense. Picking colors and making the drawings can be very fun.
You will also find appropriate furniture, bedding and toys. A fairytale-themed room will take your kid to a magical place each night. Before falling asleep, your little one will be exploring a world of magic, honor and love. It certainly is worth the effort.
Sports Themes
A sports theme is best suited for a boy but many girls have a favorite sport of their own, as well – figure skating, gymnastics or synchronized swimming.
Boys will certainly fall in love with rooms that carry a basketball, football or soccer theme.
Many decorations will be available for your needs. You can easily find soccer ball decorated wallpapers. Sports furniture for kids will be available in many stores, as well.
Animals
Turn the nursery into a wonderful jungle. Greenery and the images of many animals will transform the plain room into something much more special.
You can focus on one animal – dolphins for example. Another option is to turn the nursery into an improvised 'zoo.' Wallpapers, beddings, carpets and furniture will all help you have an animal-themed room.
Aviation and Aeronautics
Many boys dream to be astronauts. The outer space and all of the technology used attract and enchant them.
An aviation theme is mostly suitable for a boy's room. Have drawings of spaceships, stars, planets, the moon, galaxies, astronauts and anything else that will be suited to the theme.
Princesses
Girls love princesses. Each little girl dreams of being a princess and discovering the handsome prince who would be always there for the lady of his heart.
A princess theme is great for a girl's room. The good news is that you have many decorations to choose among. The most appropriate colors for a princess-themed nursery will be pink and white. You can also choose other pastel shades. Try to keep it soft, welcoming and very delicate.

Article Title: How to Write Your Own Invitation Poem or Sayings

The thought of writing your own invitation poems is probably making you feel excited and a bit embarrassed at the same time. Your own verses will be unique and adding to the originality of the invitation. At the same time, you risk falling into the trap of clichés and inappropriate verses.
Writing your own invitation poems is far less complex than you imagine it to be. All you need is a good idea and the will to experiment and modify your verses. Taking some time to think about it and to write several poems is the best way to come up with a successful invitation poem or saying.
Explore Available Invitation Poems and Sayings
Before you attempt writing your own poems, you should become familiar with styles and ways of expression.
Explore other invitation poems. Browse through various websites. You will discover poems and sayings that have been written for nearly any type of occasion or invitation: birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, baby showers, bridal showers or family reunions.
See what type of invitation is most appropriate. Is the fun and jolly tone good enough for the type of event you are going to organize? Or maybe you are looking for something more emotional?
You should also pay attention to the length of each line, the overall length of the poem and the words that are used to create the rhymes. You will become familiar with invitation poems and saying and you will feel more comfortable writing your own lines.
It is fine to get influenced by the works of others. If you like a particular poem very much, you can attempt creating something similar. Use your own words to achieve the same style and tone.
What is It that You Want to Express?
Ask yourself one question – what is it that the poem or saying added to the invitation has to achieve?
Knowing what you want to communicate will help you once you start writing. The poem can be just a fun addition that sets the tone. Important information like address, directions and RSVP information can be added beneath.
Usually, invitation poems and verses explain what type of party will be held and if guests are expected to bring a specific gift, participate in some activities or dress in a special way. This creative part of the poem gives people a party preview.
Decide what you want to say, take a deep breath and start writing.
Write Several Poems
Very few people will be able to create the perfect poem from their very first attempt. You may be a lucky one but even if your first attempt is a failure, you should keep on trying.
Once you sit down in front of the computer, you should try to write at least a few poems. Let your thoughts flow. Refrain from censoring yourself or trying to direct your thoughts in a certain direction.
Let it all out. Write until you have said everything you have to say. Once you finish typing, you can begin editing the poems. Delete the ones that you consider to be entirely inappropriate. Others can be used as they are or modified to suit your needs better.
After you finish writing, you should take some time off. Go out for a walk or deal with some household chores. It is important to take your mind away from the writing process. Looking at the poems and sayings after some time has passed will give you a fresh perspective and a chance to be more objective.
Remember to have fun when writing invitation poems and sayings. This is the most important ingredient of the creative process. Your poems will be cute and memorable as long as you put your heart into them.

Becoming pregnant is a truly exciting phenomenon that affects the life of every woman. There is nothing more special than feeling your baby growing up inside your womb.
This special period calls for some new, healthy practices. Certain activities are recommended while you need to forget about others. In order to keep yourself and your baby healthy, you will have to give up on the bad habits.
Here is a list of the biggest dos and don'ts for pregnant women.
Pregnancy Dos
The healthier and happier you feel, the more satisfied you will be with your pregnancy. certain practices will diminish the chance of morning sickness, discomfort and pregnancy complications.
Now is the time to start a healthy diet. You need to gain weight in a way that is beneficial for the baby. Increase the intake of fruits, vegetables, foods rich in fiber and proteins. You will also need calcium – drink milk and consume dairy products.
Have at least five small meals per day. If you feel like pampering yourself with some chocolate, you should certainly go ahead. Eating everything in moderation is one of the best nutritional habits.
Begin exercising. A fit body will guarantee you problem-free pregnancy. Join a yoga class. Take walks in the park. Avoid strenuous exercises and exceptionally difficult workouts. You can start those once you give birth.
Start taking prenatal vitamins. Your body needs folic acids and other supplements, while it is getting prepared for the birth of your child. Consult your doctor about the best food supplements and vitamins for your needs.
Attend medical exams on a regular basis. You need to find out early on about any medical problem that you or the baby may be having. Diagnosis and prevention are essential during any stage of life and especially during pregnancy.
Relax and pamper yourself. You should feel good in order to enjoy your pregnancy. An occasional massage or aroma therapy can do miracles in terms of making you feel brand new.
Pregnancy Don'ts
This is the best time to get rid of some bad habits. Remember that they will be affecting you and your unborn child.
The first thing you need to do is give up smoking. There is no reason to explain why tobacco smoke is dangerous for your baby. It would be best to forget about cigarettes several months before you try to get pregnant. Your body will need some time to get rid of the toxins.
The same applies to alcohol drinking. A beer or a glass of wine once in a few months is far from harmful but if you are used to a Friday night of clubbing, you should probably reconsider your priorities.
Stress is an absolute no during pregnancy. You will probably have to go to work while pregnant but refrain from accepting new projects that will increase your workload and your stress level.
Eating junk food is another big don't. It contains no useful nutrients and it will solely make you gain weight.
Strenuous exercise and physical activity is out of the question, as well. Let your body relax. Take the time to sleep well and rest. Challenging physical activities should be resumed after you give birth.

Hiring a party planner is often the best option you have when organizing a party and trying to handle all of the aspects connected to it.
Party planners will make the task much easier. You have to share your ideas and leave organization and planning to them. Picking the best party planner is essential in order to have the party of your dreams.
The best party planners need to have certain qualities that will make them stand out of the crowd. You need to look for these key abilities when making your selection. These people will be able to do quality work while sticking closely to your requirements and handling all details with ease.
Organization Skills and Time Management
Very often, parties have to be organized within a very short time period. A good party planner will do miracles, even if the deadline is just around the corner.
Organization skills and good time management skills will help the party planner manage all aspects of the party within the specified time period. Good party planners can handle both tight deadlines and longer time periods.
Look for reviews and client opinions concerning the organization skills of the party planner. A person who is unable to control and monitor the execution of all aspects will do a poor job. Organization gives everyone the inertia needed for excellent party planning and preparation.
Good party planners will know which task comes first and which party aspects need to be prioritized. Simultaneously, a party planner should be capable of organizing and handling several tasks at the same time.
Examine the manner in which the party planner organizes tasks, especially unexpected aspects of the party preparation process. If the individual is capable of dealing with everything in a timely and well-ordered manner, you have come across an excellent party planner.
Communication Skills
The party planner should be capable of understanding you and communicating your ideas with everyone associated to the preparation process.
Communication skills are just as important as the organization skills. A person who is a poor communicator could easily misunderstand you and fail giving the right directions. Good party planners ask the right questions and clarify all issues before getting started.
Decorations will never look the way you want them to if the party planner misunderstands you or fails communicating your ideas with the decoration team.
Good party planners have to be extroverted and capable of active listening. They should also transfer information to other parties in a concise, specific and very clear manner.
Flexibility
One aspect of parties that you should be aware of is that things rarely happen according to the plan. Confusions, misunderstandings or the lack of supplies that you want can mix up plans and interfere with the preparation process.
Party planners need to be flexible in order to do a good job. They should have alternative solutions and ideas for any type of crisis that could occur shortly before your dream party.
A good party planner needs to remain cool and focused even in the face of disaster. Flexibility is of key importance. Your party planner should always have a plan B in order to continue organizing your party.
When selecting a party planner, you should interview the person and get a sense of key qualities. Party planners need to be organized, flexible, extroverted and capable of handling unexpected situations. Many other qualities will play a role, as well, but picking a party planner who has the calibers already mentioned will ensure excellent party planning.

There's a new rage in the baking world today. You see them in magazines, on TV cooking shows, and in the bakery: miniature cupcakes. These one-bite yummy treats are not only fun to eat, but they're easy to make and are guaranteed to be a hit at your next family get together, birthday party, or baby shower.
Here's how to make miniature cupcakes:
You'll need…
Your favorite cake mix
1 can of your favorite frosting (if you are using a vanilla cake, use vanilla frosting, same with chocolate)
Miniature cookie cutters in the shape of flowers, stars, geometric figures, etc.
Dark and white chocolate bark
Sprinkles, Jimmies, candy, Gummy bears, M&Ms, Reese's Pieces, etc.
Cake pan(s)
Large bowl
Cookie sheet with wax or parchment paper lining
Lollipop sticks (from bake or arts and crafts store), optional
Prepare the cake mix according to the directions on the box. When it's finished baking, let it cool. Remove cake from the pan (or pans) and place into the large bowl. Using a fork, break the cake up, crumbling it into tiny pebble-sized pieces.
Take the can of frosting and spoon it all in over the crumbled cake. Mix the cake and frosting together until it forms a dough texture. Using your (clean) hands, take small amounts of the mixture and roll it into a Ping-Pong sized ball and place on the lined cookie sheet. Keep doing this until all of the mixture is used. When the tray is full, cover with a dry kitchen towel and place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. After that time, the cake and frosting mixture will have become completely bound together.
Remove from the fridge and get your cookie cutters to start shaping them. Press the chosen design into the ball of dough about three-fourths of the way, leaving a rounded muffin top to the miniature cupcake. Do this for all of the dough balls you have made. Put them back in the refrigerator while you melt your dark and white chocolate bark either in the microwave (don't overdo it and burn it!) or a double boiler on the stove.
The side of your miniature cupcake that has been shaped should be dipped first in the dark chocolate and placed upside down on the cookie sheet for the chocolate to dry. If you've like to put your miniature cupcakes on sticks, now is the time to insert the lollipop sticks into the bottom. Once this half is dry, then dip into the white chocolate to "ice" the top of the miniature cupcake. At this point, you can add sprinkles, candy, Gummy bears, or any other decoration to the top. Make sure you do it before the chocolate has completely dried so the toppings will stick.
Now, serve them up to the guests at your party and wait for the accolades to rain in. If you're using this recipe for a baby shower or themed party, you can buy colored white chocolate to match the appropriate theme colors.

Your baby boy is turning one and this extra-special occasion needs to be marked in a spectacular way. Organizing a birthday party celebration with loved ones is the best way to commemorate the occasion.
Though your little boy is still far from understanding everything that is going on, love and attention will certainly be sensed. Having a first birthday party will make your boy feel happy and extra-special.
You can either have a small family party or you could invite friends and their children. It depends on your desires and on the type of celebration that you are imagining.
Who Will be Attending the Party?
Before you start planning, you will have to finish working on the guest list. This important decision will affect all other areas of party preparation.
How many people are you going to invite? Will you keep the party solely to your family, are guests going to bring their children along? Having a party for kids signifies thinking about activities and games that little ones will enjoy.
When you make the guest list, you will have to come up with the invitations. You can certainly invite guests over the phone or by e-mail but a printed invitation will be more special, just like the occasion is.
The invitation should provide information about two aspects of the party: the fact that it is dedicated to a baby boy and the fact that this is his first birthday.
You can achieve that through the shape and colors used in the invitation. It can be cut out in the shape of number one. Blue color will hint that the birthday person is a boy. You can browse various websites to look for invitation ideas and the best wording for this special occasion.
Ask guests to RSVP by a certain date and to mention whether they will be bringing kids along. Once you have the final guest list, you will be capable of moving on with the party planning process.
Decorations, Food and Party Items
You can have many types of decorations for the first birthday of your baby boy. The easiest way to approach the issue is to get blue balloon designs and banners that mention the name of the birthday boy and his age.
Decorations can also be selected on the basis of the party theme.
The theme you choose has to be something that your boy likes and enjoys – animals, favorite sports, vehicles or spacecraft. Have pictures drawn, balloons coming in certain shapes and beautiful banners.
Food is very important during a kid's birthday. Make sure that you have a medley available for the needs of the younger visitors. Finger foods, juices, sodas and fresh fruits are all suitable. The birthday cake will be most impressive if it corresponds to the theme and the nuance of the party decorations.
You can organize a very special celebration for your baby boy's first birthday without spending much time and effort on preparations. Get everyone in the family involved, even the birthday boy. What truly matters is getting the entire family together and having some quality time with each other. Enjoy each part of the process and have as much fun as possible.

Being a mom involves so many wonderful steps. You want to buy and make your baby the best toys, accessories and clothes. Making baby clothes yourself can be beneficial in a number of ways.
Stores offer tremendous diversity, when it comes to outfits for your little one. These are colorful and customized enough to appeal to anyone. Still, you will probably feel that making your own baby clothes is a better option.
Homemade baby clothes look good and can also turn into wonderful gifts for other moms. Such outfits will be tremendous for a baby shower. They will show your special sentiments and love for the mom-to-be and her unborn child.
Why Make Your Own Baby Clothes
Making baby clothes yourself could be demanding, especially if you have never sewed before. Various advantages make this option desirable and worth the effort.
Homemade baby outfits will be customized enough and answering all of your requirements. Most moms are capable of discovering flaws and imperfections in store-bought baby clothes. Making those yourself will give you the chance to perfect each details.
You will also choose the most appropriate fabrics and safest designs. The safety and wellbeing of a baby is a top priority for every responsible mom. Homemade baby clothes are the perfect option.
Taking Measurements
Yes, sewing baby clothes at home sounds perfect. Getting started could be difficult. Relax and enjoy the process. Once you get used to it, you will feel more confident experimenting and coming up with complex designs.
Learn how to take measures. Baby outfits must be a perfect fit. Clothes that are too small will get your baby feeling uncomfortable. Large clothing will sleep and could eventually put your baby in danger.
Do not panic if you make a mistake. Corrections could be made once the outfit is created. Practice will make you better and you will soon be taking measures accurately. If you buy a pattern, examine the size chart carefully.
Choosing Fabrics and Patterns
Stick to natural fabrics, in order to make outfits more comfortable for your baby. Artificial fabrics could lead to rashes, allergies and unpleasant sensations.
Cotton is the most appropriate material that you can use for the creation of baby clothes. Cotton absorbs sweat and it lets the skin 'breathe'
Winter clothes should be made of a soft and warm fabric. Wool is great in terms of maintaining body temperature but it could make your baby feel itchy and unhappy. Knitting baby sweaters and winter outfits will be fun. Choose materials that are fluffy and soft.
Patterns are entirely up to you. Pick the ones you like and that correspond to your fashion sense and style. Keep summer colors pastel and light. Black is far from the best option, since it absorbs light and will make your baby feel too hot.
Remember that comfort and practicality are most important when you are making baby clothes. Fancy and decorative outfits will be appropriate once you little one grows a bit. You can add some cute decorations to baby clothes but refrain from overdoing it. Homemade baby clothes are a great way to design the perfect outfit for your children and can also make a wonderful baby shower gift.
