What is your driving force? What keeps you going everyday? Is it your job, your family, or your livelihood? When I write about motivation I am writing about what the driving force is behind keeping you moving in the direction you need to go each day. This applies to everyone no matter if you are self-employed, or a salesman, a home-based worker, a wife, author, or husband; motivation is required to keep us in the frame of mind we need to be in order to be successful at what we are trying to achieve.

What do you do to keep yourself motivated? Everyone has highs and lows in their business and life, so we all find ways to motivate ourselves. Listed here are some of the ways I motivate myself:

Prayer. As a Christian this is the very motivating to me. I know God is listening it just depends on His timeframe when He answers. I patiently wait for those answers.

Daily Goals. Every morning I write down what I need to accomplish for the day. At the end of the day it is a pleasant feeling to see all the lines I have drawn to cross off the items listed I have accomplished.

Read. I normally turn to self-help manuals for guidance in positive direction. As a self-employed person, I frequently read online newsletters, buy books, read articles; researching any media I can that I think will help me in accomplishing the goals I set for myself.

Reach out to a friend. If all else fails, call a friend to be a sounding board. When sharing with others, it builds awareness and enables you to realize you are not the only person trying to accomplish something. A large majority of the time the person you contacted needs support and motivation also.

At one point in your life or another, we all have felt our efforts are not worth the outcome we have reaped so far. If you will remember why you are trying to accomplish what you are doing, then some of your motivation may come back. Perhaps it is for your family, your spouse, or yourself, whatever the reason you were motivated to do something, now go and accomplish it! The 80/20 rule applies here also; 80% know what to do and 20% do it. Do not lose the faith. Nothing is holding you back but self-doubt or weariness and lack of motivation! Be part of the 20% and do it! As Nike says, "Just Do It"!

The correct answer is it depends. Several factors need to be taken into consideration when choosing that perfect new hot tub. The best place to start is by looking at the location that you intend to place the tub if your available space is only 6 feet by 6 feet then looking at the larger 8 person 8 foot square tubs is not a viable option. If you have plenty of room for a hot tub then you need to consider how many people you would like to accommodate at one time, do you have a large family or do you entertain a lot? Today smaller two person or personal hot tubs are gaining in popularity for use in hydrotherapy. The swim spa market is also growing at a fast pace as people are looking to fill a dual role with one purchase.

When you decide on how many people you would like to be able to have in your hot tub at one time it is a good idea to go check them out if you want to be able to hold all six members of your family at once take them all to the hot tub store. Some stores actually have private test rooms that allow you to test drive a new hot tub before you by if this is not an option you can always set in a dry tub. Some key points to consider when test driving a new hot tub is the water level you will want the level to be just over your shoulders you don't want a tub that has seats that are too deep. Just like not all cars that claim to seat 5 they do not all seat 5 comfortable the same can be said for hot tubs, there is a big difference between 5 people whose average weight is 100 pounds and 5 people whose average weight is 175 pounds. The biggest area of concern is usually in the foot well area if you have an eight person hot tub then you will have 16 feet and legs all trying to put their feet in the same place. This is why round hot tubs are less popular when it comes to holding more people. The shape that allows the most usable room is a square tub without a lounger seat in it.

Operating cost of course will be higher with a larger hot tub but size is not the biggest factor for instance if a hot tub that holds 100 gallons cost 100 dollars to operate a 150 gallon tub may cost 125 dollars to operate for the same time period other factors such as use, insulation and efficiency of the pumps will have a larger impact on the overall operating costs.

Keeping a spa or hot tub well maintained is essential to the health of everyone who uses it as well as to the proper running of the spa itself. Spa maintenance isn't difficult if you monitor the water, maintain water balance, sanitize, oxidize and clean the water filter.

Water balance is important for maintaining an ideal level of chemicals and alkalinity for everyone. Checking for calcium hardness, pH levels and total alkalinity are all aspects of maintaining a healthy water balance. Calcium hardness needs to be maintained between 100 to 200, total alkalinity should be between 125 to 150 and pH levels should be between 7.4 and 7.6.

The most important aspect of maintaining your spa is to make sure the water is clean and free of contaminants and prevent algae growth. To do this, you need to use a spa chemical called a 'sanitizer'. There are two main sanitizers; sodium dichlor (simply called dichlor) and bromine. Dichlor is chlorine-based, relatively inexpensive, does not leave residue in the spa and dissolves easily. Bromine is purchased as tablets, is odorless and stabilizes at a higher pH level than dichlor. You should monitor the sanitization level of your spa regularly by using test strips for either the bromine or chlorine sanitizers. Sensitization and pH levels should be checked daily.

Once a week you will need to give the water an oxidation shock. This will help to balance the water and give it a crystal clear appearance. Potassium monopersulfate is an oxidizing agent which is commonly used to re-establish water balance.

The water in some areas naturally has a high concentration of minerals and metals which can affect the spa itself and corrode equipment. It is necessary to use a sequestrian agent when this happens to clean your spa shell regularly. If a stain already exists then you can use the agent along with scrubbing to clean the spa shell.

Cloudy water can also be problem. It occurs when the pH level of the water is too high. This is easy to fix, however. You can simply add sodium bisulfate to lower the pH and reduce cloudiness. Alternatively, if your pH is too low, using sodium carbonate in your spa water will increase it.

If you maintain your spa regularly and still get foamy water, it is probably because the chemicals in your spa water combine with make-up, soap, perfumes, and deodorants from bodies. This is easy to overcome by simply using a no-foam agent to dissolve and remove foam.

Once a month, you will need to clean the filter cartridge using a cartridge cleaner. The water balance should also be checked every month by taking a water sample.

General spa maintenance isn't difficult if you follow these steps and pay attention to the condition of your spa water. If you monitor your water and sanitize it regularly, your spa will remain clean and safe for you and your family to enjoy.

You finally have that dream house you have always wanted you have spent many months working on the inside to get your new home decorated just right now the weather is warming up and you look outside and see a blank page just waiting for you design, plan and build a backyard oasis that enhances all the work that you have put into designing the indoors.

A good start is to make a list of everything you want to include in your oasis, write everything down remember the only thing that is permanent is change so even if you do not want a pool or hot tub at this time put it on the list, why? Well when planning a backyard oasis you need to plan for the future certain things such as a pool can only go in certain spots you need to work around things like your well, drain field and underground utilities while it is true you most likely will be able to change the location of these items the cost associated with relocation can be prohibitive.

The next step is to walk around your future oasis get a lay of the land look at drainage issue remember the water needs to flow away from your house, if your oasis is relatively level your options are fairly open however if your lot has steep inclines you may need to build up areas and put in retaining walls to make level areas for decks, patios and pools. This why it is good to try and plan for any features you may want to add later. The lay of the land will influence water features like a small river. Even though the topography of any lot can be changed it is much cheaper to take advantage of the existing terrain than to try and to rearrange nature.

When designing your oasis it is a good idea to work with a scale drawing of your lot and lay out all the major features like pools, decks and patios. Next add all the necessary features these could include things like privacy fences or hedges that you may want to include to hide areas from your neighbors or public areas. You can then move on to items like water features and trees. Remember to keep trees away from your drain field and over head wires. You can then move on to your smaller shrubs and the on to your flowers and smaller items. Keep in mind the colors of your trees, shrubs and flowers and arrange to suit your needs. Consulting with your local landscape supply house and local landscape companies can lead to some excellent design ideas.

Ok you have the perfect swimming pool complete with a hot tub spa with all the possible amenities, you have the biggest grill in the neighborhood and the perfect outdoor kitchen for entertaining what else could you possible need well how about a sauna? Today's saunas can be ordered as complete kits that can be simply snapped together plugged in you are ready to enjoy a quiet relaxing sauna session or they can be custom built units that are incorporated into your pool house or inside your residence.

Many more options are available to day in saunas with advent of far infrared sauna technology the start up time has been reduced to zero and the electricity usage of an infrared sauna is much less that the typical sauna of the last century. The infrared waves of energy actually heats up your body with little effect on the atmosphere inside the sauna with this type of heat it is not necessary to heat the entire sauna room up to temperature.

Looking for a more traditional sauna like for your hunting lodge or in your ice fishing shanty? Well many companies produce a traditional wood burning sauna no electricity needed. Wood burning saunas do have some great advantages but may not be the best choice for installing in a residence first the wood burner will require a flue or chimney to vent the smoke to the outside so unless your house was originally constructed with an extra flue for the sauna the cost may be prohibitive also many people dislike the wood smoke and debris from the wood getting in he house.

The other choice in saunas is a gas fired sauna heater. Manufactures now make your choice of propane or natural gas fired sauna heater. Gas burning heaters are initially more expensive to purchase and install as you will need to hire a professional to run the gas lines to the sauna but the savings in energy usage will soon over come the initial stat up costs.

Whatever choice you make in sauna heaters be sure to purchase a good quality heater. The size of the sauna and the materials used to construct the sauna will determined the size or BTU's (British Thermal Unit) of the heater required. The location must also be considered in the equation. Do you live in a cold climate? Will your sauna be outside and do you plan on using it in the winter if you answer yes to these questions a larger more efficient heater will be necessary to enjoy a good sauna session without a long warm up period.

Over the last few years I have been surprised by the seemingly little things that my 15 going on 25 year old daughter did not know. I have complied a list of things that I plan to educate her on before she heads out on her own.

After Megan completed driver's education and wanted to begin driving a car I asked her to check the oil, and the air pressure in the tires as this is necessary to operating a car. Megan had no idea how to do either. She now knows how to do the basics she can check her own oil and the air pressure in her tires she also knows how to add washer fluid, how to take her car for an oil change and other basic maintenance problems. Megan can also check and add if necessary brake fluid, coolant, and power steering fluid. These simple basic steps are important to keeping your car safe and operating properly.

I was very surprised on evening when Megan came to me with a pile of clothes which had to be washed for the next day. I told her to wash them herself Megan replied "I do not know how to run the washer" I was stunned that she did not know how. After this she was put in charge of laundry for a month. This month was followed by a month of cooking a balanced dinner this included shopping for the groceries. This taught her how to buy food on a budget, check fliers for specials and above all she learned how to operate kitchen appliances.

When Megan turned 16 and got her first job we took her to the bank and opened her a checking account complete with a ATM card. We also got her a credit card with a very low limit these were monitored very closely at first and we taught her how to use a credit card responsibly not a loan but as a convenience, no purchases were to be put on the credit card that she could not pay for when the credit card statement came. This was a good place to explain interest, how to set some money aside for retirement and how pay herself first.

I spent some time with Megan going over basic things that any home owner or even a renter should know about their home such as where the circuit breakers are located, how to reset a GFI plug, how to put out a grease fire, hang pictures and the use of basic hand tools that everyone should have an know how to use.

Our hope is that Megan will have a solid understanding of what is required of her in the real world she may never have to change a tire or hang a picture but she knows how to do.

Ok you have your pool, hot tub and spa all planned out what is next? How about planning the ultimate patio grill. Today there are so many features that can be had in an outdoor grill it can be overwhelming to decide on what you want in a grill. Do you want an island grill or a freestanding grill? Some advantages of a free standing grill is you can move it from patio to poolside or wherever the party is. An island grill can have more features such as a refrigerator; sink and a bar close at hand. Another feature of an island grill is it can be plumbed for natural gas that way your party is never cut short by a lack of propane.

At one time your only choice in grills was charcoal or propane they all came in black only today there are so many choices not only in finishes but also in fashion. Anyone who has purchased a $99 grill brought it home assembled it and watched the burners rust out and the igniter quit working in less than a year has look longingly at those nice shiny stainless steel grills. However the real meat is in the inside even the cheap grill shells were made from aluminum which never rusts the problem was with cheap guts steal burners and racks would rust out seemingly overnight. Today's quality grills have stainless steal burners and or ceramic. They also provide a way to evenly cook the food unlike old cheap grills that seam to burn in one area and leave your meat raw in another area. Spending a little more on a quality grill will save you money in the long run.

Although gas grills have been replacing charcoal grills in recent years many cooks prefer to use charcoal. There are some grills on the market that use either gas or charcoal so for that quick hamburger during the week you can fire up the gas side and quickly cook your burger on the weekend you can utilize the gas to light the charcoal and slow cook your meat in true BBQ fashion long and slow with low heat.

The area of the country you live in will have a great effect on your grill choices if you live in an area that is conducive to year around grilling you may opt for an "outdoor kitchen" complete with a grill, refrigerator, sink and even a dishwasher ect. These luxury outdoor kitchens can be made to match your patio decor your island can be made out of brick, stone or almost any other materials that matches your patio.

There are only two limitations to the ultimate grill the first is your imagination almost anything you can think of in and outdoor kitchen is available today. The second and usually the most limiting factor is money unfortunately for most of us finances will limit us in our quest for the ultimate grill.

With the rise in popularity of having a hot tub in your own home, the importance of maintaining it properly is paramount so that you may enjoy it to the fullest. After all, without a fully functioning appliance, feeling the satisfaction that you get when you host a particularly enjoyable party for friends and family will be severely lessened if your hot tub is out of commission.

The simplest way to stop any major problems occurring is by checking your hot tub daily. Maintaining the required level of sanitizer will ensure that hygiene will be of a safe standard. Daily checking will also allow you to keep the area around the water line clean, as well as maintaining the hot tub's pH levels. Weekly and monthly checks, although not mandatory, will help prevent problems such as foaming and water hardness to affect your appliance, and stop your filter from becoming clogged.

Every now and then, you should also completely empty the hot tub and then refill it, so you can dispose of total dissolved fluids, or TDS, which block filters and other flowing areas. As a general guide, you should calculate the amount of litres your hot tub holds and divide this figure by the average number of users. Once you have this number, divide it again by 12, and this will give you a good example of how often your tub should be drained.

Depending on where you live, the different types of water that's supplied to your area can also affect how you maintain your hot tub. Since hot tubs have a recommended level for calcium hardness between 100-200mg per litre, making sure you have the right level is extremely important. Too much can leave unwanted deposits on the pipes and heater elements, while too little can lead to corrosion damage. Make sure you check the levels each time you top up your tub.

Along with water hardness, ensuring that you have both the safe total alkaline and pH levels are another important factor in the overall maintenance of your hot tub. If the alkaline levels are wrong, corrosion can occur and also cause discomfort to users of the tub. The pH levels are key to how sanitised your tub is, once again a major factor in how much you enjoy your bathing experience. For best results, the recommended levels are 125-150mg per litre for alkaline, and 7.4 to 7.6 on the pH level scale (from a range of 0-14).

There are a variety of ways you can maintain the cleanliness of your hot tub. Be sure to change or clean your spa filter regularly. Using bromine is an excellent option, as not only is it easy to use, but it will last for several days. And just like it's used in swimming pools to keep sanitation levels high, chlorine is also an extremely effective option, as it won't affect your pH count into the bargain. By following these simple tips and using in conjunction with specialised products such as No Foam and Spa Sparkle, you will enjoy many a night relaxing in the atmosphere only a hot tub can bring.

With hot tubs never being more popular than they are at the moment, the only real choice that you have to think about, should you decide to go ahead and join the ever-growing numbers of home owners with them, is whether you should buy an indoor or an outdoor tub. Although the majority of tubs are outside a property, indoor versions are becoming far more widespread and common.

One of the main reasons people are opting for an indoor hot tub as opposed to one in a yard or at the side of a house is simple – the weather. Whereas an outdoor hot tub's use will be governed by the seasonal temperatures of the country you live in, typically losing at least three to four month's use throughout the year, this is no such problem to an indoor hot tub owner. Since it will be under cover and therefore out of any severe weather conditions, it's an ideal solution should you wish to make everyday use of the tub.

Another bonus, and another side of protection an indoor hot tub can offer apart from against the weather, is that of privacy. Most people are uncomfortable showing themselves undressed, whether for vanity or other reasons. An indoor tub by its very nature eliminates this, since it will just be you and people you're already comfortable with that will be sharing the space with you.

Another thought to take into consideration when purchasing an indoor hot tub is to think of both where you're going to install it, and who is most likely to use it. To benefit most from the calming aspects it can bring, your hot tub needs to be in an area where there is least commotion and bypassing. Since it's indoors, it also makes it easier to wander throughout the rest of the house straight from the tub as well, spreading mess and water, so be sure you think of its location first.

If you do decide to go for an indoor hot tub, you should be aware that although it's more convenient, they are a lot more complicated to install than your standard outdoor one. Since they emit both intensive heat coupled with humidity, the area where it's to be installed needs to have excellent ventilation. Failure to provide adequate space can lead to structural damage in your home, such as weakened plasterwork or condensation leading to mould and window damage.

Since the weight of a hot tub, indoor or otherwise, can be more than two tonne when full, depending on its size, you also need to ensure that the foundations of your home are solid, especially where the tub is to be installed. Since standard floors are only built to support less than quarter the weight a full hot tub will need, you will need to re-enforce the floor of the room you choose. It also needs to be easily accessible to a good draining facility, to allow easy and simple maintenance of the tub.

In Finland, saunas have been a part of their culture for around a thousand years or more. The Finnish sauna has been around for generations and is considered to be a necessity of these people, rather then the luxury that many other people consider saunas to be. Not only do the Finns consider the sauna to be a great health benefit, but they also use their saunas a great way to relax and enjoy time with friends and family members. The Finnish sauna is almost viewed as a social place as well as a place to bath and relax.

The process of Finnish sauna bathing is a bit different than the way most people use a sauna. First of all they take a nice warm shower, just a basic shower to rinse off, and then they go into the sauna for between 10-20 minutes. In the sauna they relax and let the heat warm them and open up their pores. After the first period, they usually take a break and leave the sauna to cool down by taking a cold shower or going out in the snow. Then usually they take the time to sit in the cool air while enjoying some type of beverage, which more often than not is alcoholic. At times they repeat the process a couple times and then end the bathing by taking a warm shower, this time using soap and using shampoo on their hair.

Amazingly enough, there is almost no home in Finland that does not have a Finnish sauna. It is estimated that there are almost two million saunas in Finland, a country that only has around five million people. Even apartment buildings have either common saunas for use, or include saunas with each apartment. Not only do the Finns use the Finnish saunas in their homes, but they are also used for social and business purposes as well. Many meetings, for both business and pleasure, actually occur in a sauna, as they are popular gathering places. Many successful businesses actually own their own saunas for business meetings or even meetings of the employees.

Interestingly enough, whether going to a new home or on a peace-keeping mission, the Finnish sauna is usually the first building to be constructed. People usually build it before their homes because they can live in it temporarily, cook on the stove within, and still use it for bathing. Even soldiers always have their saunas with them, and usually construct the sauna before anything else. The sauna is also viewed to be a place of peace, where everyone is equal. Titles are not used while people are in the sauna, and this is a time when everyone is viewed on the same plane, no matter what their status.

Not only is the Finnish Sauna viewed as a place of bathing and social activity, but it is also considered to be a spiritual place where one can meditate. Sauna bathing is very important to the Finns, and if foreigners are invited to one of their sauna baths, it is considered to be a sign of great respect and high honor for that person.

Registry cleaner is the answer to clean the registry of unused and redundant files to improve the working of your computer.

Before we understand the need of registry cleaner, let us understand what registry is and why you need a registry cleaner to enhance PC performance. Just as you would store your documents in a file, the Windows stores all information about your computer in a Registry, such as all the software and hardware settings, and everything about the system configuration. It is the most critical aspect of the operating system, and needs to be cleaned periodically. A Registry Cleaner is a program that looks for and deletes outdated entries.

Using a registry cleaner periodically will make your computer run better. Registry was first introduced by Microsoft in Windows 95. Before this, configuration settings were all stored in INI (Initialization) files scattered all over the hard drive. Due to this, it was quite difficult to keep a track of them. A registry consolidated all information in a central location. It is a central cache of all settings, options, and preferences of the PC, manages the start up options, and keeps a track of the various software installed in the system.

    Removing The Build Up

Over time, the registry in a computer builds up and this can make the computer unstable and have a slow start up. As you keep on using your computer, the registry keeps on building up with obsolete and unnecessary information. These need to be cleaned up using a registry cleaner.

This is especially true for Windows 95 and 98. However, Windows NT, XP and 200x also have a lot of entries that are not necessary, and are created when programs are installed or removed. It is always advisable to use a registry cleaner to remove these unwanted entries to make your computer run faster.

The registry cleaner scans the registry to trace the obsolete data, deletes it to enable your computer to run error free and enhance the performance of your PC. Most cleaners have a backup function to help you backup your registry before cleaning it, in case you encounter a system failure, and some files get deleted inadvertently. You can get a free registry cleaner or trial version. But the free or trial versions have their limitations therefore it is better if you select a licensed registry cleaning software for this purpose.

A damaged Windows registry in your computer can corrupt your whole system, rendering it unusable. To keep this vital part of your computer in a good working and an un-bloated condition, a good registry cleaner should have the following features:

柊utomatic scanning of the registry and its cleanup

稗ackup and restoration of the full registry

    柊 startup organizer

紐emoving Trojan, which utilizes startup files

One particular registry cleaner may not be compatible for all types of computer systems. They have their own minimum system requirements, such as:

百ome that are compatible with Windows 98, ME, 2000, or XP may not be suitable for other versions of Windows.

百ome require a particular class of processor with a certain amount of RAM.

漂ou may need a certain amount of empty hard disc space.

Now decide, do you need a registry cleaner or not?

COM is an acronym for Component Object Model. This is a software architecture developed by Microsoft Corporation and is used to define a certain structure used to build program routines, known as 'objects' that can be called up for execution in a windows based environment. COM was first built into Windows 95 and Windows NT.4.0. many parts of Windows operating system and some applications developed by Microsoft's developers have built in COM objects. Com Objects are stored in the registry of a system and are one of the things that need to be cleaned with registry cleaner.

So What Exactly Does COM Do?

Com is that part of a program that provides an interface between objects. A counterpart DCOM or Distributed COM allows the objects to run remotely. COM is implemented in different ways. Objects can be large small or medium and are written in different programming languages to perform any kind of processing of a file or code. Programs call on objects whenever the program needs the services of the object and the Common Object Model acts as the interface between the program and the object. COM will link common objects to different programs that need them. That is why even though the program may be uninstalled the common object will not be removed. This fills up the registry and slows down a PC. A computer registry cleaner will remove all unwanted entries from a registry and speed up the system.

    COM and ActiveX

ActiveX controls can call up COM objects called 'controls'. These 'controls' just blend into the program and become part of the program when called up by COM. OLE also uses COM services in the windows environment. Standard applications, such as word processors and spreadsheets, can be written to expose their internal functions as COM objects, allowing them to be "automated" instead of manually selected from a menu. Microsoft's OLE compound documents are based on COM, which lets one document be embedded within or linked to another (see OLE). ActiveX Documents are extensions to OLE that allow a Web browser, for example, to view not only Web pages, but any kind of document.

Microsoft Corporation is increasingly making its standard programming interfaces conform to the COM object model so that there is continuity between all interfaces in the Windows working environment. In the beginning Microsoft Corporation decided to use the term 'OLE' to refer to its COM-based architecture, then later decided to drop that designation in favor of ActiveX. Now since both OLE and ActiveX are based on COM, the term COM is also used. As a result, any combination of the words COM, OLE and ActiveX followed by the words control, object and component may mean the same thing, or they may not, depending on the context they are referred to.

So in the end we are given to understand that Common Object Model is ActiveX and vice versa in relation to the environment they are working in. All this automatic activity only feeds the registry with information it may not have to retain. But there is no way to rid the registry of this data except with the help of a windows registry cleaner. A PC registry cleaner will remover from the registry all unwanted information thus making the system more efficient.

ActiveX is a technology that was developed by Microsoft to enhance the display of images, video and animation in their browsers. ActiveX components are a set of rules that guide the browser to display hi-resolution images and streaming video properly.

It should suffice to say that ActiveX is a technology that was developed to bring the power of Object Linking and Embedding or OLE as it is popularly known, to empower web browsers and particularly Internet Explorer, to display such objects. When web pages with embedded ActiveX components are downloaded, the corresponding controls are also downloaded and automatically launched by the operating system of the computer. This can, over some time, clutter up the registry with unwanted data and controls, thus slowing down the system drastically. This will mean having to clean up the registry with a registry cleaner periodically. ActiveX controls are actually used by windows to display very rich interfacing activity such as animation, video images, virtual reality that used 3D technology, high resolution images and the like.

    ActiveX Prompts For Registry Cleaners

When downloaded into your computer, an ActiveX control is actually packaged as an .OCX file. There are cases when more .OCX files are downloaded and needed for a web page. The .OCX files like ActiveX controls need to be registered on your system before they can be used. Registering means that a program capable of doing this, queries the ActiveX control and saves specific information about it into Windows Registry, so that the operating system can find it and therefore be able to use the ActiveX control. However, one must keep in mind the importance or cleaning up the registry periodically. The Internet has the best registry cleaners available free. So, make use of them to keep your system running smoothly.

Pro's and Con's Of ActiveX Controls

It is important to understand that with all the 'pros' of ActiveX technology also come a few 'cons' as well. ActiveX is a very powerful tool and is sometimes used by individuals, with a flair for the technology, to create ActiveX controls with malicious intentions. These 'corrupt' ActiveX controls can wreck havoc on your system and leave you helpless for no fault of yours. After all, you know that ActiveX is supposed to help your system run some programs, right. So why not download an ActiveX control when you are prompted to do so? It is for this reason that Microsoft has developed the ActiveX security system.

In Windows XP operating system, this security system is embedded in the Internet Explorer. The registry of the system automatically blocks the download and installation of any ActiveX component in the Registry of the computer. Apart from this is an ActiveX component has to be installed the computer will prompt the user to check for the signature of the component. If the ActiveX component is registered with Microsoft the ActiveX is verified as authorized and is allowed to be installed in the registry of the computer. If the ActiveX component is not verified the systems offers the user a choice of not installing the ActiveX control.

Some Advise For Internet Explorer Users

If you are using Internet Explorer you should ensure that you are using a security level set to Medium or above in Internet Explorer. You can do this by going to tools in IE and select 'internet options' then click on 'security' and slide the level to medium or higher. Now, after reading about the entire automatic downloads of controls and stuff, it makes sense to download a free window registry cleaner and use it periodically to clean the registry of your system. There are enhanced registry XP cleaners to clean the complex registry of Windows XP as well.

It is prudent to install a window cleaner on your computer to protect your privacy against large-scale personal identity theft threats prevalent these days.

If you do not want anyone to invade your privacy on your personal computer, installing Window cleaner is certainly the way to go. Let me explain to you a brief overview of why you need to install the windows cleaner and how does it help you protect your online and offline privacy.

Why Is The Need To Install Window Cleaner

All your activities on your computer are tracked by your operating system in various places. These places include document histories, cookies, temporary Internet files, etc. While you work offline or surf the Internet, all your activities are stored in the form of various files in these folders. Windows cleaner makes sure that all such information is removed when you shut down your computer system. Thus, it maintains your privacy. Other users on the same computer do not get to know about your online or offline activities.

Is This Just All About Maintaining Privacy?

No, it is not like that. Windows does not only maintain your online and offline privacy by deleting the various history folders, but it also keeps your computer free from garbage files that are stored in your computer system while you browse Internet. These garbage files include various application files and temporary files. A huge log of such files may cause certain problems for your computer. For example, it may slow down the processing speed of your computer, or sometimes it may intercept in the running of some software applications. Sometimes, it may also cause your computer hang. Therefore, it is not just all about maintaining your online or offline privacy, but by installing and running a free Window cleaner, you ensure a safe and soothing working experience on your computer system.

Can The Windows Cleaner Be Customized?

Yes, it is not like that the windows cleaner will always automatically erase all the history and junk folders. It will do so only if you have adjusted such a setting in its options menu. You can easily customize the same as per your requirement. It allows you to erase browser cache, cookies, history, visited URLs, typed URLs, auto-complete data, index.dat, temp folders, run history, search history, open/save history, recent documents and more. At the same time, it also allows you to specify cookies to keep, so that you do not erase your important login cookies.

Overall, if you want to keep your online and offline privacy on, and want your computer to be free from all the unwanted junk and garbage files, installing Windows cleaner is certainly the way to go.

Window cleaner is a much sought after software. Here is some information on what Windows cleaner does and how it helps you run your computer error free.

Window cleaner has become an absolute necessity these days because every time you use your computer, every webpage you visit, every image and file – whether multimedia or a movie file - you see, are stored in it. This takes up a lot of disk space, which is quite valuable in terms of storage space. You probably use a number of software, as most do, and every software saves some information or the other. Through this information, all your activities can be tracked and traced, invading your privacy. Windows cleaner is a tool that helps remove all these traces, and much more to help run your computer better and faster.

What most computer users do not realize is that every single online activity of theirs can be easily tracked. Internet history files, cookies of the sites you visit, and your browser cache are a storehouse of all your online activities. Through these logs, your privacy can be trespassed. These files are not required, and must be deleted after you have finished using your computer. These unwanted files take up precious disk space and slow down your complete system. This is why you need a Window cleaner – to help clean up all these unwanted information.

What Will A Windows Cleaner Do

Window registry cleaner will free your computer of all stored information, which are not required, and which are a danger to your privacy. Different cleaners have different features, depending on what you require. Windows cleaner that merely deletes the files may have a limited benefit, as a variety of data recovery tools available can help recover the data. Certain Window cleaners have a feature that further shreds the deleted files and folders.

Though a Windows cleaner is an all-in-one cleaning tool, it comes with various features. All such cleaners are flexible tools that clean up the history of your activities, both online and offline, and restore hard disk space. Some cleaners come with features, such as secret bookmarks, stealth cleaning, and hide browsers, among many others. Certain other features include optimizers that clean all obsolete files and files that are pure junk. Certain features also find duplicate files and remove them.

Similar to viruses, Trojans copy, distribute and kill your data. Obviously since you would never permit these actions, Trojans do not bother to ask for your permission.

Trojans are deceptive programs which don't take no for an answer. Any keystroke means yes to them. They are mainly designed to steal your data from your pc. But if you have antispyware guarding your pc, you need not worry.

    What Are Trojans?

Basically Trojans appear quite harmless. They quietly enter your computer, either as email attachments or bundled in with other software programs. They are a kind of spyware. Spyware works by keeping track of what you do when you browse the web without you being aware of it. It is quite irritating and can cause major problems if you don't use any antispyware program to keep your pc clean.

Trojans are one of the worst kinds of spyware that eventually destroy your data after stealing it. There are some Trojans called remote administration tools, which permit access to your computer every time you log in - and you won't even know it. Whoever accesses your pc can easily pick up files from your system, remove or add programs, and even control your keystrokes.

How Trojans Land Into Your PC

Similar to viruses, Trojans copy, distribute and kill your data. Obviously since you would never permit these actions, Trojans do not bother to ask for your permission. The spyware installer does not care about the means used to rob your data. It is well known that there are many Internet marketers who trick you into installing certain software bundled in with Trojan spyware into your computer. They use a pop up ad to attract you, and then as if you want to install it. Whether you say yes or no is irrelevant. Even if you say no, they follow up with another pop up ad to ask if you are really sure. In spite of clicking no, your keystroke simply sets off a download into your computer without your being aware of it.

Drive by downloads are a common method for Trojan spyware to sneak in to your pc. Here is what happens - you browse a website and see a popup asking if you want to download something and the way it asks you, you sometimes end up saying yes, thinking that you need to download it to look at the web page. So when you say yes, it looks like you are allowing the download. If you say no, you are hounded by pop ups that wait for you to just click to start off the download, making it happen without your knowledge.

Everyday there are new ways being devised by spyware installers to get into your system. Get antispyware software to control this and keep your pc free of spies!

While this many be the case, keeping the system efficient and effective is still the key interest of users and computer professionals. Windows Vista Registry Cleaner is one such utility that is needed to maintain the operating system in good shape.

The registry is catalog of all information about the software, hardware and preferences of the user along with all the settings details. A registry key in Vista operating system is created or modified or deleted every time new software program has been installed or uninstalled. This is the case even when software programs are used.

Any error that occurs during installing or uninstalling of software in Windows Vista is also stored along with the error application in the registry. This causes the registry to be crammed with orphaned or corrupted entries. The registry also gets stuffed with invalid programs that you may have removed from your system long ago. This causes the resources of the system to choke and this considerably slows down the Windows Vista computer.

Registry Cleaner is, often, used to counter software problems in Windows Vista based computers as well as to optimize the system performance. It basically removes the invalid entries from the computer. But the problem that goes with badly developed Registry Cleaner is that it may remove useful programs keys, which may be useful for running your favorite software. Hence a good Registry Cleaner would scan the system for any dubious entry that may harm your system. It would also make sure that the suspicious entry does not affect any software that has already been installed and ones that are in use.

If any problems are detected by the Windows Vista Registry Cleaner after it analyzes the vista system, you can view each of these issues and ask for a detailed explanation of that particular problem. On the other hand, you can choose for an automatic correction of the errors. But you must remember to take a back up of all registry keys that you require to delete before you run the Registry Cleaner to make sure you are always safe.

Application error messages are reduced hence increasing the speed of the Vista operating system as well as its performance. From the Windows 95 version, Microsoft introduced the registry into their operating system to store vital information about the hardware and software configuration of the PC. Before that this job used to be done with the INI files that remained scattered through out the hard disks. Surely, introduction of the registry was a great idea as it introduced a more organized way of keeping the records. But there is disadvantage of this process as well. Each time you install or uninstall a software, make changes to the PC settings, file associations, system policies, a new registry entry is generated and stored in the registry. Over the time, as you keep using the PC the number of registry entries also keep mounting. As outdated entries are not deleted, the registry becomes cluttered with outdated records, making the system slower and prone to frequent failures. Registry cleaner software deletes these unnecessary entries and keeps the registry clean so that your PC gives flawless performance.

Now that you have a clear idea of the usefulness of registry cleaners, you might be thinking that why do I need a Window Vista registry cleaner, when I can download or get a registry cleaning software for free. Now this is something as technical as the registry itself. Staring from the earliest version, till the Latest Windows Vista, each and every version of Windows operating system has unique ways of keeping the registry. So, to keep the registry of your Windows Vista PC clean you need a Window Vista registry cleaner that is specifically designed for the Windows Vista operating system. Moreover, as there are different editions of Windows Vista available, like Windows Vista Starter, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise and Windows Vista Ultimate, you must get the exact version of the Window Vista registry cleaner that is compatible with the Windows Vista edition you are using.

The Window Vista registry cleaner performs some crucial functions.

    • It deletes outdated registry entries that were generated each time you installed any software or uninstalled one and for any system changes.

    • The Window Vista registry cleaner deletes the remaining traces of a faulty uninstall process.

    • It deletes the entries made by Trojans, malwares, viruses and any other undesired programs.

    • The Window Vista compatible Registry Cleaner also backs up the registry entries that you can always restore, in case you encounter any system failure.

So, if you are using a Windows Vista PC, a Window Vista registry cleaner is a must have for you to get faster and optimum computing experience.

Windows cleaner is an effective tool that helps to protect your privacy, cleans up the clutter in your computer by removing garbage files.

As you use your computer, all the activities it carries out are logged in. All software programs, including Windows, keep a track of the websites you have visited - the documents you have used, and all similar activities you have performed - and store them. A Windows cleaner is a tool that removes all the document histories you have created while working on your computer, offline as well as online, including cleaning the cookies and temporary Internet files. It also cleans up all the places where Windows stores all your activities, including in the document menu and the Recycle bin. Thus it is an effective tool to enhance PC performance. With a Windows cleaner, you will never have to face the problem of your computer running slow.

A Windows cleaner helps protect your privacy by cleaning up your system. As everything you do on your computer is logged in, this is a matter of invasion of your privacy, as any one can see what you have done, and the sites you have visited. In addition, the storing of all the activities takes up a lot of disk space, and this valuable space needs to be recovered to enhance PC performance.

    What Does It Do

Cleaning up your tracks by removing all the extra unwanted files, such as the application, temporary files, cleaning up the history of your activities, recovering valuable disk space, and cleaning your browser's cache of cookies, along with your Windows tracks, the Windows cleaner is one great way to keep your computer running faster and free of error.

A Windows cleaner is a comprehensive tool that cleans up the following, among others:

    • Windows history

    • All Internet applications used by your web browser

    • Your browser's temporary files

    • Windows temp files folder

    • Registry streams

    • All duplicate files

    • Cookies

    • The Recycle bin

Depending on the Windows cleaner you select, it can be personalized as per your preferences. You can utilize it to optimize your resources, and protect against hijacks. All cleaners provide you with a clean offline and online environment so that you don't have to complain about your running slow.

If you have been neglecting to clean up your Windows, your folders would be saturated with, rather bloated with, files – running into thousands - those are unnecessary. These 'overweight' folders are carrying files that are negatively affecting the performance of your computer. There may hardly be any space left for virtual memory, or for the printer's file, making you lose the ability to print. If you are using Windows ME or XP, you may be unable to create a system restore point, as you will need a lot of free space for its backup. All because of insufficient storage space.

To get your computer back to health, you need regular services of a Windows cleaner. Some windows cleaner are even available for a free download. Get one for your PC now and enjoy trouble free computing.

Offering free content on yours or others business Web site is a crucial part of Internet marketing. In fact, that's how Internet marketing got started, which is why everyone wants and expects something for nothing on the World Wide Web. They've always been getting it.

The public has come to expect Internet information to be free, and those most-often searched keywords are what will take consumers to your Web site. Once you've determined the most visited keywords in your industry, you'll want to write or find articles that incorporate them.

If you're not a good writer, or you don't have the time it takes to write articles, you can use the articles of others. You can offer local writers or industry experts to contribute articles in return for their bio which gives their own site and business credibility, branding and traffic. Or you can buy articles from people you don't know. One way of doing this is through an article membership site. Here you'll find articles on just about any subject, with new ones added all the time.

There are many sites that offer articles and memberships to help your Internet marketing. The catch, however, is that each invariably limits its membership ranks so that the Internet marketing articles don't get published too often. You may have to do some searching, or some waiting, to get a membership in the Internet marketing article membership site of your choice.

Once you are a member and you find the articles you want to publish your Internet marketing work is not done, however, You have to do some rewriting, making it not only fresh and unique to your site, but also giving it a little tweak so it talks directly about your industry, and, if possible, about your products or services.

You may find an article or articles that particular fit your Web site and your business but the keywords you need aren't found that densely in the article. So you'll need to do that. That's fairly easy to do, and far easier than sitting down and writing your own article.

Never take an article from an article membership site and publish it verbatim. This is destructive to your Internet marketing concept. You want to make it yours – your voice, your personality and your products. You might even find a lengthy article that you could use as a tease, publishing the first part and then offering the conclusion next week. You might also publish a newsletter – a great Internet marketing tool. You start the article in the newsletter and refer readers to your site for the conclusion.

Whatever you do, make it yours. Your Internet marketing will succeed as a result.

Publishing an e-zine, while it's often thought of as a great Internet marketing tools, can also be your best internet home based business opportunity. An e-zine can make money online. While an e-zine is not necessarily the same as an electronic newsletter (the latter is generally longer) for the purposes of what each of them can do for your bottom line and your Internet networking, we're going to assume they're identical.

Publishing an e-zine can be a very enjoyable internet home based business. To know that you can write about yourself and your business, you can work at any hour of the day and night, and you're imparting your wisdom to people who have actually asked for it and will benefit from it, can be a very satisfying experience.

We're all experts at something. Take stock of what you've done over the years and what you've learned. Think about what you enjoy doing and what you do well. Surely there is something that you do better, that you know better than anybody else. That's the focus of your new e-zine or newsletter.

As an internet home based business, your e-zine will take some patience but there are few businesses, of the thousands and thousands out there, that make any money right off. This is true despite some of the hyperbolic stuff you read on the Internet about spending a few dollars to buy someone else's internet home based business opportunity and then all you have to do is sit back and watch the money roll in from day one.

No matter what the internet home based business oppotunity is – unless it's some sort of scam – that's just not going to happen.

With your e-zine you'll spend several months building your subscriber base. Once it's reach about 1000 you can start selling advertising, or sponsorships to relevant businesses. They'll probably jump at the chance to tap into your highly targeted market for their products. Of course you can also sell your own products and services as well. What you want to be very careful about is not selling advertising or sponsorship to a competitor. The advertisers on the ezine should enhance, and not compete with, your internet home based business products and services.

Once you have a steady following for your e-zine you can start charging for a subscription. Or you might run two ezines, one condensed free one, and another paid one that offers more help, more advice, more resources and so forth.

Basically, the message is that if you have an expertise, if you have a product, an opportunity, an idea, an industry or a service, that you know more about than most other people, and if it's a product or idea or service that enough people want to know more about, you can make a lucrative internet home based business out of publishing an ezine and helping others learn.
