Summer is fast approaching and with most people wanting to spend some time in the sun it is important for us to use certain products to protect our skin from harmful ultraviolet rays that may cause severe damage in the long run. The number of cases with regards to people contracting skin cancer has been slowly increasing over the years. Plus, there are various harmful products that have caused extensive damage to our ozone layer adding to the risk of having skin cancer for people who frequently expose themselves to the sun.

It is but natural for many of us to lounge in the sun after spending a considerable amount of time hibernating during the cold winter days. We, ladies especially want to run off to the nearest beach to get that summer tan we have long been wanting.

Before you put on your bikini for a hot day at the beach, you have to pause for a moment and think about certain issues that have gotten women all over the world very concerned. Studies have indicated that the occurrence of melanoma among women especially beyond their 30s is increasing. This cancer is a result of a woman's exposure to the sun during her early years, teens and during her 20s. UV light causes mutations in the DNA of the body leading to formation of tumor and cancer. Also, exposure to the sun is the major cause of the occurrence of dreaded wrinkles.

Anti-oxidants like vitamins E and C have anti-aging attributes and helps prevent cancer. You can find in the market sunscreens and lotions that contain anti-oxidants to help protect and keep skin healthy.

Sunscreen is very important to apply if you expose yourself to the sun. But for people who are in for some sweat during these hot summer days, the mixture of certain outdoor elements and sweat can easily wear off your sunscreen. Look for longer wearing sunscreens to have protection from ultraviolet rays all the time. Reapplying sunscreen every two to three hours would be most ideal.

You can also find a lot of make-up and cosmetic products that contain sunscreen protection ranging from powders, foundation, eye shadow, blush and even lipstick. Cream blush can stand up better towards sweat and also easily blends with sunscreen.

Summer is a time of fun and relaxation and we should enjoy every moment of it. While having some fun in the sun, protect your skin with products containing sunscreen features to keep it soft, supple and healthy.

People always say that the manner or style in which you dress can say a lot about you. The entire outfit of a person from the apparel, fashion accessories and even the handbag can help other people tell on what type of person you are. You will discover so much about a woman from even the type of handbag that she carries with her.

For those women who carry bags of average size, which have handles and are snugly fit under the shoulder, they are perceived to be sophisticated and classy. They are usually used by career oriented women or those holding high office positions.

Big bags are usually associated with the younger generation. We find a lot of students carrying bulky bags to put their stuff in like notebooks, books, folders and the like. They are also used by people who have a lot to carry with them or require a lot of space. You can say that a lot of the women who carry these type of handbags seem to be very simple and down to earth.

Formal clutches especially those with embellishments and a lot of trinkets can signify that the woman carrying this is someone who is stylish and chic.

I can say that girls who go for very expensive designer label handbags are very high maintenance women. These girls project poise and confidence knowing that they know what they want and wouldn't settle for anything less or anything inferior to the expensive brands. These high maintenance girls can be quite difficult to handle so guys need to be extra careful and sensitive to this type of women.

Women are showing their wild side if they prefer to carry with them leather handbags adorned with numerous pockets, chains and buckles. The numerous chain and buckle embellishments tend to project the image of a bad girl who is always on hand to have a great wild time without thinking about the consequences of their actions.

When a women prefers bright colored handbags you can say that this woman is sociable, fun, fresh and friendly. They usually have a sunny disposition and are very outgoing. You can expect this type of woman to be willing to engage in a conversation even with a stranger or someone she has just gotten to know.

For those who tend to choose dark colors like brown and black, you can say that these women are shy and very reserved.

While the above assumptions may not be applicable to everybody most of the time, you can say, that the type of bag you wear whether it is with regards to the style or the color usually reflects your mood.

Article Title: Shopping For Fabric When Making Your Very Own Fabric Handbags

You love handbags and you just can't get enough of them. In fact, your closet is filled with them that it seems as if the store has moved into your very own apartment. The prices of these handbags can range from very cheap to very expensive. Besides of the fact that it came with an affordable price or a costly price tag, it is important that these handbags are properly cared for and selected with the utmost care to ensure that they be available for many uses in the coming years (that is if it would last for more than a year).

There may be some of us who are gifted with the talent to make our very own fabric handbags. It is quite important that you at least have a general idea of the different types of fabric or material that handbags are made of to help you make a decision on what type of material you think would suit the type of lifestyle you lead. There are certain types of material that require the utmost care when cleaning for stains (in case you stain it) while there are those that are easy to maintain when it comes to cleaning them. It is essential that you pay close attention to the cleaning directions of the different types of fabric.

The great thing about cotton is the wide array of choices you have when it comes to color as well as design. Plus the material is very easy to manipulate and cut. It is advisable to pre-wash cotton before making it into a handbag.

Silk is not highly recommended because aside from the fact that it requires dry cleaning if it needs to be cleaned, the material is difficult to handle and is more prone to stains.

The bad thing about linen is that it easily wrinkles plus for washing dry cleaning is recommended and not machine wash.

Leather is a very durable material. The thing is it requires special equipment when you use this plus only a professional can clean it.

The fabrics I have mentioned are just some of the many that you could choose from. I strongly suggest that you research as well as ask experts on which materials would work best for you and your skill in crafting the bag. Get inspiration from existing handbags being offered in the market or check out the internet for sources as well as other ideas for design and style.

When homeowners make the decision to upgrade the fixtures in their home, they generally choose a bathroom remodel job to add value and versatility to their home. These homeowners may choose to make the changes themselves or hire a building contractor to complete the project in record time, with little fuss and very fine detailing.

There are many fine choices to be found in bathroom fixtures. With a larger variety of dimensions to pick from, homeowners feel free to explore all available finishes to find the right home decorations for their bathroom remodel. There are finishes that are made in light, medium and dark wood choices that homeowners can choose, as well as white, black, and stone.

Homeowners are free to set a particular price range for their remodel job using exact pricing found on many bathroom remodeling websites, and they quite capably fine tune that price down to the last fixture that will be placed in their new bathroom. They locate bathroom remodeling stores using Internet search engines and find one that offers luxurious fixtures at affordable prices.

Then homeowners are free to concentrate their creative talents and find marvelous bathroom vanities that slide right into place without over-extending the budget one bit. Some online bathroom remodeling stores make it so easy to pick and choose between different styles and homeowners find these stores a lot of fun to spend their free time in.

The famous name brands of bathroom fixtures found on these bathroom remodel websites include Ambella Home, Cheviot, and Cole and Co., and other prestigious companies like Regatta, St. Thomas, and Terra Acqua. There are so many fine companies to explore that homeowners make the time in their daily schedules to explore all of the fixture choices using Internet access that affords them ample time to view them at home.

When homeowners are considering bathroom remodel opportunities they are clearly focused on finding the highest quality fixtures that their money can buy. Since vanities are the centerpiece to many bathroom designs, they are the first item on the list that they choose to view at their leisure.

It is very easy for homeowners to focus on bathroom fixtures that compliment the vanity they plan to purchase when they use the bathroom remodeling sites. All of inventory is organized in a very understanding manner. These fixtures might include lighting, toilet, towel racks and shower door designs that all seem to come together in record time when an Internet bathroom remodeling website is used.

By the end of their tour of all the bathroom remodeling furniture and fixtures they find online, many homeowners feel quite proud of their choices. A novice could enter a bathroom remodeling website with very little knowledge under their belt of what a bathroom remodeling job entails, and exit the remodeling website feeling like a seasoned professional.

These visits are very reassuring to many homeowners, because they take their purchases very seriously. Their choices will affect the lives of their families for a very long time and they want each decision they make to be the right one.

I truly believe that true beauty comes from within. But I also think that it is also important for us, women especially, to take care of our physical looks as well. It doesn't matter if you do not possess the looks of models or movie stars. What matters most is that you know how to carry and project yourself. It is important that you take care of your face and body and strive to enhance your best assets. It is the acceptance of every inch of your body despite its flaws and imperfections that make you glow all over.

With the myriad of cosmetic products in the market, getting yourself beautiful isn't that difficult. It is all a matter of knowing how to flaunt your assets and hide the imperfections. Get that confidence to feel beautiful all over with these helpful tips.

Quite often, we envy those people who possess absolutely beautiful hair. It is sad to note, that some of us are not born with straight hair or those with lovely natural curls. Many of us get irritated with the frizzy and coarse hair that we may have. Keep hair nourished and protected from damage by finding a shampoo and conditioner to keep it healthy and strong. Applying a hair serum to your hair can also help it attain a shiny finish. It would also help to get treatments like a hot oil once in a while to bring back life and nourishment to dull hair.

Many of us may not be born with clear skin. It is always advisable to have a routine beauty regimen to take care of your face. Washing the face with a cleanser twice a day and moisturizing it would even be enough to keep it supple and soft.

Get smoother skin by regularly exfoliating with a body scrub, to help remove dead skin cells. To keep it moisturize, apply a lotion, buddy butter or moisturizing cream to your body after getting a bath.

It is important that you wear colors that flatter you from the shade of your nail polish to the make-up on your face. Don't listen if others tell you that a particular color doesn't flatter you at all. It is all a matter of striking a balance and harmony with the different shades to the complexion of your skin. Experiment and find out what would make you stand out.

Lastly, it is very important that you yourself feel beautiful inside and out. With this, you will glow with beauty all over.

For other women the things that they may consider when buying a handbag would either be solely its design, its price or the brand it is made of. Handbag prices can range from as cheap as $5 or it could even go as much as several thousands of dollars. It is very important that we get our money's worth when we purchase handbags.

Choosing a handbag does not lie solely on one factor. Several factors need to be considered in order that the handbag will not be merely accumulating dust inside our closets.

So you go to the different shops and you check out the racks. You find this handbag that just seems to scream at you "buy me, buy me." Before you head off for the cash register to have your credit card swiped, it is highly important that the bag looks good on you. Have a clear picture in mind of what outfits you have that would match with this particular handbag. Try to imagine if the design and style of the handbag projects the image that you are trying display. It is important to note that certain styles do not fit others and that a certain style may not be suited for a particular occasion. Handbags for a formal affair are totally different for those used with a casual day out or those used for work.

Your body shape is also important to consider when choosing a handbag. Choose a style that compliments your figure and select a color that flatters you.

It is also important to consider the carrying capacity of your handbag. What exactly will be the things that you essentially bring and will be putting in them? They are not solely for the purpose of complementing your ensemble; they have the function of carrying your stuff making it convenient for you. While you are at it, give important consideration for pockets and compartments.

Another important consideration would be the bag's comfort. It is essential that the bag is easy and comfortable to carry especially if you will be carrying it most of the time.

Of course the most important consideration of them all would be the price. Do you have the moolah to shell out for a particular handbag? Other people may think that buying expensive designer brands would be a waste of good money when you can buy others that are affordable and still of a similar quality. In my own opinion getting your money's worth is really subjective. If you feel that you will be happy with your purchase and that you wouldn't be having any regrets the go ahead and purchase it.

In the end, what matters most is that you get what you are looking for and you have enjoyed your shopping.

Blush on the face is very essential to achieve a fresh look. A light application of blush can bring brightness and life to your pale face. Whether you are going out for a walk or for a special date, having blush on your face can help you achieve a dramatic look. Putting on blush also takes practice and skill because applying it in a wrong manner can yield bad results for your overall make-up appearance. You don't want to be looking like clowns now do you? It is highly important that your blush accentuates your cheekbones to give depth and shape to your beautiful face.

There are a wide variety of blushes available on the market and it is important to not only finding the right color for your cheek but to also using the right kind suitable for your skin type. It is important to note that you select shades of blush that is near your complexion's color so as to attain a more natural look. Choosing a darker hue for your cheeks does not make it look good for it draws the attention towards it instead of focusing on the overall impact that your face makes with the make-up you have on. Though it is not that advisable to be mixing different shades of blush if you are a beginner to avoid disastrous effects, I would strongly suggest that you start doing this only when you are already skillful and adept on the application of blush. It is advisable to use light shades of blush for day use while you stick with the darker tones for night time.

You can find blush available in powder, liquid, gel, or cream form. Powder blush is appropriate for almost all types of skin. You can also opt to use a mixture of powder or cream together especially for those with a mixed skin type. Cream blush is great for dry skin and if you have oily skin gel blush would be most suited for you.

In applying make-up, blush is always the last one that you put on. The blush would be the last aspect that would cap off your make-up to achieve a balanced look.

In applying blush use a large round brush and locate the apple of your cheeks by smiling as you apply it. Always clean your brush to prevent bacteria from accumulating on it that may cause allergies or skin related problems.

As women, we exert every bit of effort to keep ourselves attractive and beautiful for our men. To aid us in this mission, I will provide some suggestions on what cosmetics to look for to achieve the look that we are trying to aim at and to give our men a babelicious look they couldn't resist.

One of the things that could definitely attract a man would be great looking skin. Just as bees are drawn to honey, men are drawn to women with healthy, smooth skin. Achieving healthy flawless skin is not easy and it requires from you discipline in performing a daily beauty ritual. It is important to have a checklist for your skin care. It is important that you choose a cleanser that is gentle, removes make-up and doesn't strip your skin's natural oils. A good scrub is also essential to remove black heads and remove unwanted dirt that may have been lodged in your pores. As you enter your late 20s start using treatment products that are catered for the needs of your skin and age. Use a moisturizer to help keep skin smooth and supple. Regularly exfoliate to remove dead skin cells as well as moisturize. Lastly always put on a sunscreen to prevent from ultraviolet damage on your skin.

To achieve a pretty face accentuate your prized assets. Emphasize your eyes with appropriate eye make-up that could open them up and project a sexy tantalizing look. You may opt to give your set of peepers a smoldering smoky appearance as well. Obtain a rosy look with a blush that would give you a natural finish. Attain sexy and kissable lips with the right combination of lip liner, lipstick and lip gloss for lips that are oh so hard to resist.

Score sexy legs by keeping them smooth with lotions and moisturizers. Use self tanners to achieve a slimmer appearance and to help hide old scars and cellulites.

Turn him on with well kept hands and feet by getting regular manicures as well as pedicures. Cuticle softeners can help you get rid of unwanted cuticles. Give your feet a day off with a foot scrub or by treating it to a special foot mask.

Whip up a hot coiffure by creating sexy tousled waves with the help of a curling iron and volumizing mousse or hair products that would leave him wanting to touch your crowning glory.

With these surefire ways, I'm pretty sure your man wouldn't want to leave your side.

When people show an interest in playing golf, they will start out by using the golf range to see if their interest is deep seeded or if it is a fly-by-night feeling that will be gone in two days or so. They do not start their amateur golf product shopping for weeks and perhaps months.

More than likely they will start their golf practices with some loaner equipment that the golf range has, and buy a bucket of balls to hit down the fairway throughout the day. The distance lines at the golf range give the amateur golfer the chance to hone his skills for distance, while trying to keep the ball on the fairway. They may invest in a golf hat to shade their head from the hot sun, but as far as buying golf equipment, they will do their amateur golf product shopping only when they feel ready.

A person's golfing buddies will let the man know when his skills have become advanced enough to invest some money in some amateur equipment. They will typically head to their favorite golf course and enter the Pro Shop to talk with the seasoned professional golfer, now retired, that runs this amateur golf product shopping business.

Before the man are golf clubs from such manufacturers as Callaway, TaylorMade, Lynx, Titleist, Nike, Cleveland, and Cobra. There are other quality golf components he can purchase to get his amateur golf product shopping spree underway. Some of the types of clubs he will need in a good golf bag might include drivers, wedges, putters, and fairway woods. Some of those are sold in full sets, and there is even a section for women's clubs and accessories that he can purchase for his wife at some point, if his wife starts to show an interest in playing the game of golf with him.

When he is amateur golf product shopping, he glances at some of the golf balls and golf apparel before him, and knows that he will eventually need the latest fashion accessories to hang out with his buddies on the golf course. He likes the golf grips that he tried on, and they fit his hand well, and help him keep a good contact with the golf clubs. The man purchases a pair to get his amateur golf product shopping on solid ground.

In the golf pro shop, there were clearance items that his buddies said would make good additions to his amateur golf product shopping bag. Some of those items were pre-owned, but were still in great condition. Some were strictly in the clearance category, and there were only a few amateur golf product shopping items in those categories that he was looking at.

He had his eye on a Big Bertha Stand Bag Carrier, or the Ultralight Stand Bag, which could prove very beneficial out on the course. He wouldn't have to hold it up when he made his club selection. He saw that the discounts on these pre-owned and clearance items were reduced further everyday, and he thought he would stop by tomorrow to save even more money on this fine golf bag.

Tanks tops are a popular staple in any woman's closet. In fact, you can see kids and even teenagers sporting them around in funky designs and with fancy embellishments. These tank tops are great for the hot summer weather because they are very comfortable and very light to wear. You will find tank tops in various designs and styles and in varying sizes, so almost everybody could practically wear them. Though these were designed originally to be worn as an undergarment, you will find that many women are sporting them as tops. You now find them in a variety of colors to choose from although the classic white round neck tank top remains to be what is popular because it is very easy to mix and match with other outfits.

Tank tops are tops that do not have sleeves and they usually have straps that may measure in an inch or two. There are also those tops that have very thin straps called spaghetti straps which are quite popular among the females. You can also find tank tops in round necks and even those with sporty razorback designs. Some are even designed with built in bras.

The great thing about these tank tops is their versatility. They are most popularly worn on a hot summer day. You can wear them to work as a top by itself (if allowed in the workplace) or as an undergarment covered with a blazer and paired off with slacks. You can use them while taking a jog or working out at the gym. You can pair it off with a flowing skirt accented with accessories and high heels and you are ready to attend a casual party.

There is no limit to what you could pair off with these tank tops from jeans, shorts, skirts, denim, slacks, skorts, leggings, capris, sweat pants and a whole lot more. Popular as a beach wear are suits called tankinis which is a tank top paired with a bikini bottom. You have tanks that come in a two-tone design of contrasting colors. Popular nowadays are those with embellishments like rhinestone, beads and sequins. All you need to do is mix and match with whatever you have in your closet to obtain different looks from casual, to formal and even sporty.

When you do buy a tank top, always check as to whether your top will shrink. Most tank tops would shrink one size after being machine washed.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Selecting the right power tool for you is a lot like selecting a car. Should it be the big-heavy-duty model or the sleek-portable one? Would it be the electricity guzzling one or the more practical model? Scouring through the displays of your neighborhood hardware store can give you a headache on what should be the right brand and capacity to choose from.

    The Power Tool

First of all you must consider on the quality of the brand that you want to buy. An easy hint on this is on the warranty card, the longer the warranty duration, the better it is. The next one is to consider the accessories. Do the accessories fit on other brands? For example if you're going to buy an angle grinder, check if it fits on any other disks brands so you will not be having a hard time finding a replacement. The third consideration should be the spare parts and the after sales services. Power tools have a lot of moving and mechanical parts that tend to wear over time, specifically carbon brushes, which are the most common parts that will wear out.

    The Power for the tool

By now, you must have selected the right brand which suits you. The next thing would be the power inside the tool. This time practicality should be on your mind, if you will be using it for home use, try buying a less powerful one since common household structures are not that tough.

    The Size of the tool

In this category, the size of the tool is usually proportional to the power of the tool. Try to measure the area or any opening on where you will be using your tool. If you have constricted space then it would be hard for you to maneuver the tool.

    Plugged or Unplugged

It now common for power tools to be wireless or on that fact, battery operated. Having a battery operated tool can be a bit expensive over the AC one because of the batteries that come with it. Another downside to this is that it has a lot less power than what its AC counterpart posses. But then again if your work area has no AC outlet available near by, this could be a problem for you.

    Tools for that business

If you will be using these power tools as an aide for your business, buy the industrial type. Since you will be using this very often and this can be a lifetime engagement between you and your tools, buy the best of the best and consider this as an investment. Forecast on what projects you will be doing in the future so that you won't keep on upgrading your tools.

There are some jewelry hobbyists that exhibit their creative edge and brilliant talent when making their own jewelry designs. It is a very rewarding experience that is made quite simple through Internet jewelry websites. These fine jewelry retailers maintain an inventory of jeweler tools, castings and ring mounting devices to let a jewelry making enthusiast explore all possibilities at a reasonable price.

With so many gem choices to pick from, creative jewelry craftsman have the opportunity to cut, polish and enjoy brilliant works of art in jewelry form that they can give as gifts to special people in their life. These jewelers are very knowledgeable of what it takes to create a diamond, and are skilled craftsman when it comes to cutting multi-faceted gemstones with exquisite precision.

It's hard to believe that an unattractive chunk of carbon could be crafted into something so beautiful. People love to wear these chunks of coal around their necks as pendants, and around their fingers as engagement rings to show the world they are truly loved.

Some jewelers like to explore all of the possibilities and keep an abundant amount of amethyst, citrine, aquamarine and garnets and other semi-precious gems on hand to fulfill custom orders that will add wonder and magic to someone's day.

Some people have a particular stone in mind when they come in to place their custom jewelry order. They get captured by the beauty of loose gemstones that they see in a highly lit display case and hand select several gemstones to be added to their order. These extra touches of color will make a truly special wearable jewelry item that is custom ordered in their favorite setting.

The shaping of gemstones is offered in at least 15 varieties and each will prominently display the refined tastes of the particular jewelry fancier. There are heart shapes that are typically ordered by star crossed lovers who enjoy a continual reminder of how they feel for each other. The marquise, rectangle, square and round shapes fill a more traditional shape that is found in most jewelry fashions on the market today.

For creating unusual and unique shaped jewelry pieces, jewelry enthusiasts might choose a trillion cut or perhaps a triangle cut that will turn a unadorned ring band with few possibilities into a work of art in very little time at all. The rectangular Octagonal and Cushion shapes make dramatic shaped gemstones gifts for the most astute jewelry wearer in your life.

Whether you prefer a ring setting that is basket shaped, or prefer bezels with baguettes running vertical and horizontal in a swirled and very ornate jewelry creation, there are certainly many opportunities to display your favorite gemstones in exquisite styles that fit your personality.

Many people bring in their older jewelry pieces to have them remounted into exquisite settings that give new life and satisfaction to an old ring arrangement that they are no longer comfortable with. Gems such as diamonds and rubies are collectible items that families pass down as heirloom items that the entire family can enjoy with a little work by a skilled jewelry craftsman.

Cast iron cookware pieces have graced kitchen shelves since the Wild West was tamed and they are mainstay items that every creative cook likes to use to prepare family dinners in record time and enjoy home cooked flavor in every bite. Cooks typically use vegetable oil when cooking, but olive oil and butter are other fine choices.

The choices in cast iron cookware range from the 10 inch cast iron skillet your grandma chose to fry her famous chicken in, to the more unique pieces that feature ribbed surfaces that outline your steaks with stripes that would put any restaurant to shame. Cast iron skillets are so special that they have their own cookbook to help you prepare a skillet full too.

For the outdoorsy kitchen cook masters, there are cast iron Hibachi Style charcoal grills that will light up your life will full flavor hamburgers, kabobs or grilled shrimp with no aluminum foil lining needed. These charcoal grills only require routine maintenance with seasoned vegetable oil and a dry rag to maintain their brilliant natural black coloring and rustic appearance. With very little effort, savvy cooks can keep the natural non-stick surface in perfect operating performance.

When cooking breakfast, country cooks can use a cast iron grill press to present their guests with flat bacon slices that are truly delicious, and top the meal off with a stack of pancakes that are fresh off a cast iron grill. This method is a favorite of most fast food dine-in restaurants and you can achieve this delectable cooking art form with little to no effort at all.

There are cast iron combo cookers that are three cooking tools in one. One day you might use it as a skillet, and the next morning, convert the lid of the combo cooker over and use it as a griddle to prepare an assortment of egg choices that your family will definitely enjoy. Another day, you might choose to use it as a Dutch oven and prepare a hearty stew for your family to enjoy whenever they like.

Cast iron cookware is easy to maintain and will provide years of service with proper care. Enjoy golden cornbread several nights a week if you like, or bake up some home made biscuits that will delight the entire family. There are cast iron slice wedge pans that will save you the time cutting your cornbread slices, if you want to be pampered some on any particular day.

We all look at models on magazines and actresses on television and we often wonder how they get their lips to be oh so beautiful. We all have the notion that it takes only the expensive products to copy the look being sported by actresses, singers and models on screen and on magazines. Actually, you too can have great looking lips with the right lipstick and the correct way of applying them. The lips are one of the sensual parts of the body and it can make a woman attractive. Take for example the ever famous Angelina Jolie lips that are the envy of many women all over the world.

Creating luscious and kissable lips doesn't have to be with the use of expensive lip products. All it takes is just the skill in applying the products as well as choosing the correct shade that would go well with your complexion and skin tone.

There are several products and tools important to having great looking lips. It is essential that you a have a lip liner, a lipstick and probably a lip gloss which is optional. Having a lip brush would be a useful tool too. A lip pencil helps emphasize the natural line of your lips and serves as a guide when applying lipstick to prevent smudges or bleeding. It is important that you don't draw a line upper than your natural line for this doesn't look good. If you want to create the illusion of larger lips avoid doing this and instead opt to use lip gloss or light colored shades of lipstick to create the full lip look.

Always keep your lip pencil sharp and it is highly important that its color is in the same shade as that of your lipstick or is in a neutral shade. When applying lipstick, you get better results by utilizing a lip brush because you have better control of it. Choose a shade that matches you skin tone to better enhance your lips and draw attention towards it. Applying a lip gloss can add shine and luster especially to lipsticks that are dull or matte in finish. You can find a wide variety of lip gloss that offer shimmer and shine to your lips.

To properly care for you lips apply a lip balm if you want before applying any of the lip products to prevent it from drying and chapping. If you need more tips and techniques on proper lipstick application, you can always check from a lot of sources online.

It is not surprising to observe that more and more women are getting bigger in size probably because of the food intake. The numerous amounts of fast food and junk food we eat can blow us up in the absence of exercise and control of intake. It is sad to note that these women often find difficulty in finding clothes for their sizes. There used to be a time when they had to resort to men's shirts and clothing just to be able to have something to wear because women's apparel have nothing of their size.

Women's clothes designers and manufacturers have come to realize the strong market potential in women's plus size clothing. They have discovered an untapped market and will help these women be able to wear once again feminine clothes in the latest stylish designs. The great thing about plus clothes for women is that they are still designed and created to be fashionable to make a woman look absolutely great despite her full size.

Though I have to admit that finding plus size clothing is difficult at times, getting them at good deals would be so much more of a challenge. For all plus size women out there, there are several ways for you to avail of plus size clothing and apparel at great bargains and at discounted prices. Take your options from shopping through mail-ordered catalogs, local plus size shops and purchasing through online stores.

You could visit your local retail shops that offer plus sizes and go through their clearance racks. Most retailers would always sell items that have not been sold at discounted prices when new stock or style will be displayed. Usually you will find many plus sizes of the items being sold on bargain. Huge discounts are also given to off season clothes or those pre-season ones.

Check out the website as well of your favorite retailer of plus size clothing and search for the latest designs and promos. Sign up for email newsletters and updates. You can even request for a catalog that will be mailed to your doorstep. Items sold on online stores usually cost less because of the lower overhead costs.

To save in the long run when buying clothes, choose those that are made of machine washable material instead of those that require dry cleaning.

Try also to look and search for online coupons that can slash dollars off on certain plus size apparel items.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Is it driving you? I guess not. Screws are somewhat like the air we breathe, they are tiny things that we take for granted in our daily lives. Now if you haven't seen what a screw looks like, flip your keyboard or mouse upside down. Yes that's it! It's that shiny silver thing on the edges of the gadgets you commonly use.

Screws usually function as fasteners for mounting and for locking two adjacent cases to protect the inner core of the gadget. Recently screws have evolved and are made of plastic material which is generally used for mounting electronic circuit boards to take advantage of its insulation property.

Screws for that matter don't come as metal or plastic in its classification. They are classified depending on the shape of the slot it has on its head and the thread that it has.

Commonly there are two classifications of screws. We have the wood screw and the metal screw. How do we tell the difference? Metal screws have a pitch with much farther spaces in between them compared to that of the wood screw. Metal screws are used when a hole has been drilled unto the metal surface prior to the installation of the screw. A wood screw is not a screw made out of wood but a screw designed to be attached to a wood. This type of screw has a pitch interval closer than that of a metal screw. It also has a sharp pointed bottom. The installation of wood screws requires the screw to be used as a bit to drill into the wooden surface.

Another classification of screws is the type of head slot it has. The most common type of screws you could find in your neighborhood tool shop is the Phillips screws, Standard Slotted screws, Hex key screws, and the Pozidriv. Other types of heads are the Torx, Robertson, Tri-wing, Torque-set and the Spanner. These screws are commonly used in consumer electronics like televisions, DVD players, digital media players, cellular phones and etc. The reason why companies use these kinds of screw is for security purposes. This is to discourage unauthorized tampering of the gadget because finding the screwdrivers to fit these types of screws are pretty hard and expensive. Having the right tools to open these equipment means that the individual is qualified and experience enough to open such items.

So this is to give you a basic idea of the screw. I suggest that if you might need one, you better bring a sample to the hardware store to have a perfect fit for your need because if screws are installed with the wrong size and type, this could break and crack open your encasement which could mean trouble.

Women once in a while need to purchase dresses when attending special and formal occasions. It is important to bear in mind that there are several important considerations before buying any dress for that matter.

It is important to note the occasion that you will be attending to know on what style you will need to look for. Try to ask on whether the affair will be casual or formal. The event would usually call for a much dressier look as the occasion happens later in the evening after 6 pm. Long dresses are usually worn for those black tie or formal parties.

Not all dress types work for most body types. Be aware of the type of figure you have and what styles and designs would work best for your body type. Do some research on - what would suit you best and those that'll flatter you in the right curves and help hide your imperfections. I would strongly suggest going for those designs with simple cuts and in dark colors for a more formal effect. Try to display your best asset or body feature. If you are endowed with great looking slender legs, emphasize it with a short dress and stiletto shoes.

It is also important to have a color in mind and one that would compliment your skin complexion. Though black is the most popular color, you could try other shades for a change like red, dark blue, gold, silver, etc. Pastels and pinks are usually more appropriate for a day affair.

Try to look for designs and styles that you want and would look great on you. You can always go through magazines, catalogs or browse through various internet sites to get some ideas or draw some inspiration from. Although the trendy styles would be what most women would choose, I would rather go for those classic designs that are elegant and never seem to go out of style. At least you could still use the same dress for another occasion.

You could opt to shop online or offline. It is important that before you shop you have set yourself a budget. If you decide to shop online, be aware of your size and always compare it with the size chart to get a good fit. Check also for a return or exchange policy so that you could return the merchandise or have it changed just in case you wouldn't like it on you.

Everyone wants to stand out especially when it comes to showcasing the latest fashion trends in apparel, footwear and handbags. There are basically two types of people in this world when it comes to their fashion sense. There are those who merely follow what's found inside fashion magazines or the latest trends from the runway of famous designers. There are also those who want to start their own trend or those who don't pay much attention to the latest styles because they want to be themselves by expressing their own individuality. If you classify yourself with this second group of individuals then I believe you are one of the many who don't quite like shopping from a mall because you are fed up with the many similar styles and designs that numerous shops are displaying on their racks.

You have to admit that when you do window shopping, you would notice that majority of the stores carry a similar line of handbags or those almost in exactly the same kind or color with a different brand name at that. Quite often we get embarrassed being in the same elevator or bus for example with someone carrying a tote which is exactly the same as what we are bringing too. We can't help but feel that our handbag is just way too common. I believe that there still are many women worldwide who want to have their own sense of style without being so much as part of the crowd following on what's new and what's not.

You will find that shopping online gives you a myriad of choices when it comes to handbags in varying shapes, sizes, colors, designs, and styles. Shopping online helps you find one-of-a-kind unique purses that may never be available in a retail store. Plus you will find that many of these bags are actually a lot cheaper because maintaining an online store doesn't require a lot of overhead expenses unlike that of an actual shop wherein you have to pay for rent, electricity, maintenance and salaries for the staff not to mention other miscellaneous expenses. Shopping online also gives you the convenience at shopping at your own time whether its 5:00 am in the morning or late at night even in the comfort of your own home.

The only thing is you don't really get a feel of the handbag and is not given the opportunity to actually try it on you. I would suggest that if you do shop online, shop only on websites that offer either a return or refund policy that will enable you to get your money back or have it changed to another one in case you are not satisfied with it.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Video games came into our living room and into our life about 50 years ago. As the technology for the games improved, people recognized it as a business opportunity. With money making as the sole aim, game developers thought it fit to feed the basic cravings of humans - violence, vulgarity and perverseness. And they have been unleashing their despicable fare on the unsuspecting but highly impressionable young minds of children all these years. Researches conducted by organizations like, American Psychological Association, American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association have concluded that there is evidence of the cause-effect relationship between television violence and aggression among the children who watch it.

The perpetrators of this crime of poisoning young minds may argue that they do not force their ware and they rate their product as per the guidelines of Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). But the Federal Trade Commission investigation following the Columbine High School shooting, has concluded that, "Of the 118 electronic games with a Mature rating for violence the Commission selected for its study, 83 or 70%, targeted children under 17 in their target audience." And the irony is that most parents, who have the ultimate responsibility for their wards, are unaware of the ESRB ratings.

Research* has shown that boys play video games for an average of about 13 hours a week. It has been found that the children who play violent videogames are characterized by 1. More aggressiveness 2. Confrontation with teachers 3. Fighting with their peers 4. Decline in school achievements. All this affects the overall personality of the child in the long run. The child becomes an adult who is not team spirited, doesn't care for fellow human beings and has scant respect to traditions and practices.

The solution for all this may lie in totally banning the video games from the household. But that would be highly impractical, given the popularity of the video games and peer pressure. So, stricter legislations against marketing of mature content video games to the children should be enacted. The industry may protest that it's infringing their rights, but as of now, the future of the young generation is more important than the right to do business using the loops in the law. However, it would not be prudent to blame the industry as a whole for the rising aggressive and defiant attitude of the young people. There are many games which are really fun to play and playing them can actually be beneficial for the youngsters. Kids can learn about problem solving and strategy planning.

So, the only solution left is in the hands of the parents. Parents should get to know what their kids are playing in the computers or consoles. They must find out the rating system and see that their child is playing only what has been recommended for his / her age. While it's impossible to ban the video games altogether, it would be prudent to limit the time the kids get to play the games. Perhaps in the future, responsibility on the part of the gaming industry and increasing awareness among the parents can stem the damage.

Video games are sorted into many categories depending on the content. Going by that rule, many games fit into multiple categories. Nevertheless, we can understand the type of almost all games, by a description of the type, which they closely match. Here, a list of the popular game categories is given. However, there are still more games out there which do not fall into this listing.

    Action (First Person Shooting):

This is by far one of the most popular computer games. The player acts as a character and he looks either through the character's eyes or over his shoulder. The player/character moves through a series of obstacles, killing or avoiding enemies and over to the next level. The games generally have a time limit to complete a task and may lose a life or fail the level if the objective can not achieved within the time limit. The settings for the games vary from historical wars to fantasy universe wars.

Action games can further be classified as Stealth Games. While enemies are killed in Action games, Stealth Games require that enemies should be avoided or if necessary killed without attracting attention.

    Driving Games:

Racing and driving games are another popular type of games. Both Motor Bike racing and Car racing games are available. The player gets to drive and has to compete against other drivers. All of us are aware of the importance of vitamins to keep our bodies healthy and strong. These vitamins play an essential role in supplying the needed nutrients needed by our different body systems to function effectively and protect it from the development of infections and diseases. Vitamin C is one of those vitamins. Actually many people take it as a supplement everyday to help boost their immune system. In fact, it is believed that vitamin C is the most consumed vitamin by most people.

A good source of vitamin C would be fruits and vegetables. Examples of fruits that are rich in this vitamin include those that belong to the citrus fruit family like oranges, lime, lemons and grapefruits. Other fruits are strawberries, cantaloupe, kiwi fruit, papaya, and guava. Vegetable rich in vitamin C are brussel sprouts, tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, green peppers, chilies, and cauliflower.

Vitamin C helps prevents colds and is an anti-oxidant which means that it helps rid the body of harmful radicals. It also helps produce the connective tissue found on bones and in the skin called collagen. It enables faster healing of wounds and helps in iron absorption.

Vitamin C also helps prevent the development of infections and fights it in its early stages. It also gives you strong resistance against other viruses.

The recommended daily dose of vitamin C is between 75-90 mg. Although others like chain smokers are recommended a much higher dosage of between 100-200 mg a day since the vitamin C found in the body is destroyed by smoking.

People actually benefit from increased intake levels of vitamin C as long as it is not over 1000 mg per day. It is even advised that you increase your vitamin C dosage when experiencing stress or when you are exposing yourself to infections like a friend having colds or a sick sibling. The body also uses more vitamin C if you are taking in oral contraceptives and antibiotics.

For your body to best absorb vitamin C it is recommended that you take throughout the day several small doses of it. Increased dosages actually lessen the percentage of absorption and the excess that is not absorbed would just be released by the body like when you urinate.

Vitamin C is water soluble so even if you take it in high doses it is not harmful because the excess will just be eliminated by your body. But when in extremely high doses it can cause nausea, diarrhea and stomach cramps. It can even increase the possibility of you developing kidney stones.

I would recommend that to get your daily dose of vitamin C you should eat a good serving of fruits and vegetables daily instead of relying on supplements.

Every single day, in one way or the other, we get ourselves exposed to the sun. Most dermatologists though would stress that it isn't that good to frequently expose yourself to the sun because certain harmful ultra violet rays may not have been blocked by our ozone layer that is currently full of holes. They would always advise for people to apply sun block before going out of the house.

Though we may not be aware, exposure to the sun helps our body produce vitamin D which is essential as it works with other vital vitamins and minerals to keep our bodies strong and healthy.

Vitamin D is very important to maintain strong bones and teeth. It helps increase the levels of phosphorus and calcium in our bodies and it is essential in the body's absorption of its needed calcium. It has even been reported to increase calcium absorption of up to eighty percent. Not getting enough of the daily requirement of vitamin D would increase your risk of contracting diseases involving weakness of the bones. Vitamin D is very important to maintaining a healthy immune system and recent studies have indicated that vitamin D also helps in cell growth.

Exposure to the sun helps us obtain the necessary vitamin D intake our body needs. Although due to the changing lifestyles of the people, a certain percentage of the world's population is greatly at risk to being deficient in this vitamin. This goes especially for the old people who may be suffering some health related problems or who don't go out that much. Basically they lock themselves inside their homes or are stuck in hospital beds. You also have to consider a person's geographic location, since there are certain areas on this earth that only get limited hours of sun exposure. This may be due to the fact that they experience cold winter for a large portion of the year.

For those people who have difficulty in obtaining the necessary daily requirement it is advisable for them to take supplementation. They could also obtain sources from vitamin D fortified foods like soya milk, sunflower seeds, cream, butter, liver and egg yolks aside from the dietary supplement.

For those of you who still could find the time to even have a few minutes of sun exposure, you should feel lucky. Actually exposing yourself to even just five to ten minutes a day for the entire summer is enough for your body to produce the necessary vitamin D needed for the entire year.

Traveling is a time for leisure and we would want it to be hassle free. This is our time to relax and break free from the problems that may have been bothering us. This is the time for us to re-energize and refresh ourselves. Even the seasoned traveler, in one way or another, has encountered problems like losing wallets or having them stolen. I cannot assure you that you wouldn't encounter any vacation trip problems but by planning and being well prepared you can achieve to having that stress free vacation.

I guess one of the major concerns in traveling would actually be your pocket or travel money. Without money how would you pay for your expenses let alone purchase a souvenir. It is important that you safely secure your money, budget it wisely and avoid overspending to prevent any future problems.

Most travelers store their money, valuables and passports in pouches specifically designed for travel purposes. This is a very good alternative to the traditional wallet for these pouches are fastened or draped around your neck or around your waist beneath your clothes so as not to be visible to potential pick pockets.

It is advisable that you do not bring with you too much cash and instead opt to utilize your credit card in making payments for accommodation, food, and other purchases. If it is necessary for you to bring such an amount of cash, I suggest that you carry just enough for what you need during the day and stash the rest of your cash in the hotel vault for security.

Do not put all your money in one location. If possible, spread them out so that in case you lose some from theft, you still have money to last the trip. You can also put in this extra wallet other credit cards and ATM cards for untoward incidents. Having an extra wallet stored in your suitcase or travel bag would be ideal.

When you will be gone for a long vacation, inform your relatives and friends of your itinerary so that they will be aware of how and where to contact you in case of emergencies. Always keep at home a photocopy of your passport, important documents and identification papers.

If you take certain medications, make sure that you bring along with you enough to last you for the entire trip to avoid the hassle of buying the medicines elsewhere. There might be the possibility that their pharmacies don't carry the medicine you may need.

With careful planning, you are not far from having a great vacation.

We want to keep ourselves in good physical condition so I suppose everybody in one way or another has taken vitamins irregardless in what form it was taken in. Many of us may not be aware that there are two kinds of vitamins which are the natural vitamins or synthetic vitamins. There has been constant disagreement as to whether natural vitamins are better over the other, or on whether or not synthetic vitamins provide the same effects compared to its counterpart.

Most of the commercial vitamins we find on pharmacies nowadays are synthetic vitamins that have undergone some chemical procedure. These synthetic vitamins are produced in a laboratory set up and it has been noted that it is often less expensive to produce them although there are still companies that produce natural vitamins. Natural vitamins are vitamins obtained from a natural source found in whole food and are retained as much as possible in their natural state without any preservatives being utilized as well as artificial coloring.

Producers of natural vitamins are claiming that synthetic vitamins do not function as well compared to natural vitamins. They even argue that the synthetic types are practically useless.

We have to bear in mind that vitamins are made up of several components. Take for example vitamin C. Ascorbic acid is one of the components of vitamin C. Ascorbic acids sold on pharmacy shelves are considered synthetic vitamins. Taking only ascorbic acid does not give you Vitamin C. Your body still has to accumulate the other components of vitamin C together with the ascorbic acid you took in order that your body may maximize use of this vitamin. Ascorbic acid alone does not give the vitamin C benefits in the absence of the other important components. When your body does not have ample reserves, the excess ascorbic acid is merely rid of the body when you urinate.

Natural vitamins or vitamins from whole foods on the other hand provide the vitamins in whole or full and not just in portions or fractions enabling your body to make full use of it and to generate their intended effects for the body. Though there are conventional doctors who argue that synthetic vitamins are just as effective since these have a chemical composition similar to its natural counterpart, it is up to you on whether you would go for natural or synthetic vitamins. I suggest it is best for you to consult your physician on this matter.
