Venture capitalists are compensated through a combination of management fees and carried interest.
Management fees:
• VC firms typically receive a 2 percent management fee of the committed capital paid to them from the remaining money in the investment fund.
• This money is used to help pay for the day-to-day operation expenses of the VC firm.
Carried Interest:
• After exiting an investment, typically 20 percent of the investment fund's profits are paid to the private equity fund's management. This hefty percent is paid as an incentive in efforts to achieve outstanding performance.
• The remaining 80 percent of profits are divided between the fund investors.
• This 80/20 split of profits is only a general guideline, and different splits are very possible.
Capital Use
As mentioned, two percent of a fund's capital is paid each year toward VC management fees. As an investment gets closer to its exit stage, a fund may run out of funds. To handle this problem, a firm often has overlapping funds from which money can be drawn to help pay for skilled category managers in each stage of the investment.
In a world where technologies are in rapid and constant change, a funds management needs current state of the art managers and these managers may change over the life of the investment.
Funding Alternatives to Venture Capital
Entrepreneurs often seek funding from angel investors-- rather than from venture capitalists-- because of the strict legal requirements associated with VC rules.
Often, angel investors are daring and speculative and, although the money received from angel investors comes at a steep price, it may be a wise move by the entrepreneur to accept an angel investment.
An angel investor is usually a single individual who provides capital for a business startup and in return receives convertible debt or ownership equity.
Most VC firms want a proven technology and not an idea which may work. This concept was born out recently when our firm had an entrepreneur come to us to help arrange funding on an automobile whose fuel source was hydrogen. Although the science was sound, the entrepreneur did not have a working prototype and although we approached 58 in-category VC firms, none was interested, once no prototype was available. In contrast an angel investor may just fund an entrepreneur in the idea phase.
There is a relatively new investment concept for VC called crowd funding. Although common in the mutual fund world, it is a fairly new concept in VC. In crowd funding a group of middle income investors pool their money and a management firm invests it in a venture capital project.
In the past it has taken an enormous amount of effort to find fund investors, but with the proliferation of social media, friends in the same financial position communicate around the world, and make crowd funding possible at very little cost.
As technology increases and companies provide more and more information to potential investors, it is very possible to calculate the value of multiple investments simultaneously using net present value on multiple investments based on cash flow and the trend of cash flow. This ability makes it possible to obtain business loans from many different sources which can then be used to finance expansion.
There are also angel groups who work at the idea generation and attorneys who act as intermediaries for VC groups and those needing funding.
The above is only a small sample of possible investors. The reality is that there is far more money available to projects than there are good projects. It is the case of too much money chasing too few good deals.

Even though a large number of venture capital deals are completed in the United States, the non-US VC community is expanding exponentially.
Worldwide VC serves as a tool for economic development, as many emerging countries progress in their growth, expansion and modernization. In many regions, such as India, VC funding seems to be one of the only ways a large enterprise can be successfully launched.
United States
The past four years (2008-2011) has seen between a 5-10 percent increase in VC fundings outside of the United States with the majority of these fundings occurring in both Europe and China. It's a fact that differences in styles and types of business investment between countries are enormous. For example, approximately 1/3rd of business investment in the United States is funded through VC, while less than 5 percent of England's business investment is provided by VC. Much of the inherent differences may be attributed to the different political systems.
The US is typically considered very pro-business while England is less so.
Canada
Canada provides generous tax benefits to Canadian technology companies through its Scientific Research Development investment tax credit (See SR&ED tax credit program). This tax incentive has increased VC fundings in the technology field through out Canada and requires only that 50 percent of a company's owners be Canadian. This tax credit is extensive and is creating employment rapidly through the country.
Europe
Europe has an active and rapidly expanding VC community and, not surprisingly, according to The European Venture Capital Association the top three countries receiving funding are Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.
If we look all VC activity around the world we get a better perspective of where big activity is taking place.
• China does the most VC activity so we will call them 100%.
• United States does 23.18% of what China does.
• UK does 4.66% of what China does.
• France does 4.87% of what China does.
• Germany does 6.08% of what China does.
• Israel does .58% of what China does.
Realize that although these countries are very important in the world, each of these countries are fairly small, both geographically and population wise, compared to countries such as the United States or China.
By surveying the population numbers it is clear that China has enormous VC possibilities as the country continues to emerge in the world economy.
Truly, it is a large world with an outstanding opportunity presenting itself out there.
-- Asia --
India
India is fast growing in the VC world, with technology companies emerging rapidly in the seed and start-up arena, where projects are funded through a combination of equity and loans.
Ventures in India in 2012 are consider far riskier than most other countries, including all of Europe and the United States. As a result, the economic rewards of VC in India must be very high when a project does come to fruition.
China
China is a communist country with a fledging VC industry. In communist countries everything can easily be taken and is considered owned by the government. However, as trade expands, VC money is becoming more important to the country's prosperity.
Vietnam
Although typically considered by most to be a communist country, Vietnam has just started feeling the power of venture capital. Had the United States won the Vietnam War, which ended in 1975, an argument can be made that Vietnam would have experienced the value of free enterprise much sooner.
Southern Africa
These countries are considered part of southern Africa: Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia).
Political instability has and will continue inhibiting external and internal VC funding in all of southern Africa. The primary country that could receive outside VC funding in southern Africa is South Africa-- but still, instability--not just political-- is a concern.
The unemployment rate in South Africa during the first quarter of 2012 was 25.2 percent. This number peaked in 2003, hit a low in 2008, and ever since-- the unemployment has risen and remained fairly constant.
As political stability increases, VC funding will slowly expand businesses in South Africa which will assist in providing general prosperity in South Africa, as business expansion aids in providing employment.

What To Do in Manhattan
New York City is home to a population of 8 million. Over 50 million tourists pass through every year. Manhattan is one of the five boroughs which make up New York City. There are over 1.6 million residents in Manhattan, packed into a tiny 23 square miles. Manhattan is filled with hundreds of historical and fun sites for tourists. In this short guide, I'll list out my top recommendations for tourists spending a day or two in Manhattan.
Visit the Met and Guggenheim at Museum Mile
Right along Central Park is a stretch of road with eight museums. It has been dubbed Museum Mile. The two most popular museums are the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which contains over 2 million art pieces from 17 different departments, and the Guggenheim. The Guggenheim is a modern art museum founded in 1937. Its architecture is almost as famous as the art work inside. The museum features a spiral ramp which leads visitor from one exhibit to the next.
After you're done at the Met and Guggenheim, you might enjoy a trip to the other six museums on Museum Mile. If you have time, I'd recommend going to the Museum of New York which documents the history of the city.
If your quota for art and history is full, get some air in Central Park. Constructed in 1857, Central Park is the world's largest urban public park. It's 843 acres of green land and forest right in the middle of Manhattan.
Take an elevator up the Empire State Building
The Empire State Building was constructed in 1831 and stands at 1,250 feet high. A rush job to build the tallest building in the world, at the time, the skyscraper took 410 days and $41 million to complete with the help of 3,100 construction workers.
The observatory is on the 86th floor, about a quarter mile high into the sky. The first suicide actually occurred before construction finished, by one of the construction workers. Once the observatory opened and more people jumped, they built a net below. Did you know there was a survivor who leapt from the 86th floor? On December 2, 1979, Elvita Adams walked onto the observation deck and jumped from the 86th floor. A strong gust of wind blew her back onto the 85th floor. She survived with just a broken hip.
Spend some time at Rockefeller Center
The observatory deck of the Empire State Building offers fantastic views of Manhattan. The only place that can compete is Top of the Rock at the Rockefeller Center. Some people prefer Top of the Rock simply because you'll have a view of the Empire State Building itself from Rockefeller Center.
Besides Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center is worth a visit on its own. It's a complex of buildings that's famous for its media use. The GE Building is home to a few NBC Studio TV shows like The Today Show and Saturday Night Live. Rockefeller Center is also home to Radio City Music Hall, a famous music auditorium that hosted concerts by Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra.
Take a tour of Carnegie Hall
Not many visitors think of Carnegie Hall when they come to Manhattan. The music hall opened in 1891 and was owned by the Carnegie family until 1925. Unfortunately, music concerts weren't popular enough and the family lost the music hall. In 1962, Carnegie Hall became a National Historic Landmark, which saved it from demolition.
The music hall is a prestigious venue for orchestras and artists. It has hosted famous artists like The Beatles and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Check their website to see if there are any concerts playing during your visit. Carnegie Hall is also open for tours during the day.

Free isn't the first word that comes to mind when people think of Manhattan. I'll admit, it's tough to be a budget conscious tourist visiting Manhattan, but it's very possible. With so many things to do, there's bound to be a few free fun activities. Here's my short guide for budget conscious travelers visiting New York City for the first time.
View the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
Normally, tourists take the ferry from the southern tip of Manhattan at Battery Park. This ferry takes you straight to Liberty Island, where you can walk up to the statue of Libertas. Unknown to many tourists, though, is the free Staten Island Ferry which has amazing views of the Statue of Liberty.
The Staten Island Ferry is a free commuter boat that transports about 60,000 commuters per day. But it's not just for commuters! Many tourists use it as a free way to coast along the New York Harbor. From the ferry's deck, you'll have a perfect view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The ferry ride should last about 25 minutes when going one way. Remember to take into account the time it takes to get back to Manhattan.
Watch the busy traffic along Times Square
Times Square was originally a forest area owned by John Scott, a general in the Revolutionary War. It quickly became a meeting spot for carriages in New Amsterdam. London also had a meeting spot for carriages, the English called it Long Acre. This hub was named after London's spot, becoming Longacre Square.
It wasn't until 1904, when the New York Times newspaper moved into Longacre Square. In honor of the corporation, or perhaps because of the new auto industry, Longacre Square was renamed to Times Square.
You won't find too many horse drawn carriages here anymore. But you will find taxi cabs, thousands of tourists, and huge electronic billboards. Times Square is actually a giant intersection right in the middle of the Broadway Theater District. Walk around, you'll find theaters advertising their shows everywhere.
Have a picnic in Central Park
Right in the middle of Manhattan, covering a huge 843 acres, is the world's largest urban public park. Whether your on a budget or you have a lot of spare cash, you'll still want to visit Central Park. It was built in 1857 after the city began to notice how cemeteries were getting crowded. Turns out, the population spike of Manhattan forced citizens to relax in cemeteries for a breath of fresh air.
Along Central Park is the Museum Mile. You'll find eight terrific museums, many of which have free days. Be sure to do some research, perhaps one of those free days will fall on your trip to Manhattan. Museum Mile includes the famous contemporary art museum, the Guggenheim, and one of the largest art museums in the world, the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Go for a free walking tour in Manhattan
Bustling along the streets of Manhattan are all sorts of tours, ranging from bicycle tours to double decker bus tours. There is, however, a free option for budget conscious travelers. Walking tours are available on a tip only basis. Simply do a quick internet search for free tours by foot. You'll usually need to reserve a spot before you show up.
These free walking tours cover most of Manhattan, including sites like Times Square, Bryant Park, Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center, and the New York Public Library. Your tour guide will explain the significance and history of each location as you see them.

Are you planning a vacation to New York City? Chances are you'll also be visiting Brooklyn, one of the five boroughs of New York City. Brooklyn is a diverse area of 2.5 million people packed into 71 square miles. Here's a short list of things to do in Brooklyn.
Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge
The Brooklyn Bridge connects Brooklyn to Manhattan. It's about 6 thousand feet in length and crosses over thew East River. It opened in 1883. Walking across the bridge, you'll have fantastic views of the East River and the Manhattan skyline.
South of Brooklyn Bridge is the Brooklyn Bridge Park. This park is a photographer's dream spot. You'll have a terrific view of the Brooklyn Bridge with the Manhattan skyline in the background. At night, the bridge and the skyscrapers are all lit up for the perfect photograph.
Enjoy the sights at Brooklyn Heights Promenade
Brooklyn Bridge Park isn't the only place in Brooklyn for a great photograph opportunity. Check out Brooklyn Heights Promenade, which has the perfect view of Manhattan. The promenade is a one-third mile stretch of platform right above the Brooklyn-Queens highway. It was just an add-on afterthought for the highway construction, but quickly became one of the most popular tourist attractions in Brooklyn. Natives to Brooklyn even come here to sit on a bench, read a book, and enjoy the views.
Over two centuries ago, George Washington and his men were standing at this very spot. The British Army was in pursuit. Washington and his soldiers managed to escape across the East River and make their way into the island now known as Manhattan.
The Brooklyn Bridge Park was originally a ferry landing. After the Brooklyn Bridge was constructed, ferry business quickly declined. The Friends of Fulton Ferry Landing organization turned this area into a park for the public.
Take the day off at Coney Island and go on a few rides
Coney Island is a beach, boardwalk, and collection of amusement parks. Before World War II, Coney Island was the most popular vacation spot in New York City. After the war, there was a steady decline to amusement park attendance. There are still quite a few classic rides you'll need to go on. This includes the Cyclone Roller Coaster, one of the oldest wooden coasters of the United States, and the Wonder Wheel, a 2,000 ton steel ferris wheel.
Relax at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden
The Brooklyn Botanic Garden provides a relaxing environment for anyone who needs it. It's a collective of plants and gardens which includes the Japanese Hill and Pond Garden, the Cranford Rose Garden, the Shakespeare Garden, and the Fragrance Garden. The Shakespeare Garden has plants which were mentioned in the works of Shakespeare. The Fragrance Garden was created specifically for the vision impaired. Garden visitors can rub the leaves between their fingers to smell its fragrance.

When in the process of creating a strategy you need to make sure it includes all the goals and outcomes you are hoping to achieve along with the way in which you wish to make these a reality through investing in property. When you define your goals it enables you to have a set of guides that can drive the decisions you make in the right direction. Also by determining the outcomes you want to achieve prior to setting out you can more effectively monitor how your property is performing as an investment. Using these basic gauges and milestones to monitor your investment places you as an investor in a position whereby you can quickly understand how you property is performing in the market and where a situation arises where this is below standard or market changes arise you are positioned to be more nimble to the pack of other investors and potentially adjust your investment strategy.
Why do you want to invest in property?
When setting what your goals are it is essential that you ensure these are realistic, and the outcomes are attainable and measurable. The greater the specifics you go into the better as it make life much easier for yourself when you come to measure how your investment is stacking up against your initial desires as well as assist in maintaining the motivation required to attain them.
When asking yourself why do you want to invest in property the reasoning could be as simple as that by the age of forty you wish to have at two rental properties which are mortgage free and can support your desire to start your on business by bringing in rental returns per annum of $20,000.
Is there anything else you want?
Before beginning the process of becoming a property investor one of the most overlooked tasks before setting out and purchasing a property, is working out what else you want to purchase or attain in terms of assets or lifestyle. Typically at the start of becoming a property investor your ability to support other life goals may be blocked due to constrained finances that are supporting a mortgage, granted this may reverse once you are further along the process of becoming a fully fledged property investor with your investments potentially supporting you to achieve your other goals. By way of example if you purchase an investment property will you also be able to put your child through university or take the family on an overseas trip.
Investing in property can be extremely financially demanding, but it can also significantly impact the amount of time you have available to put towards other endeavors dependent on the investment strategy you choose. This is why a lot of investors are currently turning to using the services of a buyer's agent that can considerably simplify the process of property investment.
What is your current situation?
Moving on from establishing your goals and outcomes as a property investor you need to analyze your current financially situation as well as your appetite for risk.
Modeling a budget that outlines your overall cash inflow and outflows, liabilities, loans and values of fixed assets you currently own, prior to embarking on investing in property will give you an indication on you capabilities of stumping up cash to support a mortgage. Also dependent on how risk adverse you happen to be, you need to factor in your views on potentially expected but unexpected financial variables such as interest rate rises, renovation blowouts, tenancy changes and rental rates.
By working inside your financial means and adhering to a debt level that suits your risk appetite you will be making the investing process a less stressful investing strategy for yourself.
What property type is best suited to your investment strategy?
Deciding on the property type you want to put money into may influence if you will be able to meet your initial goals and outcomes.
By way of example if you are a time constrained investor it may imply you are interested in a very low maintenance investment, which sways you towards a purchase of a relatively newer apartment that requires minimal maintenance and is able to be rented quickly. Or potentially you may be a handyman and are seeking a renovation project to invest your spare time in, as such you would be seeking a property where you feel you can add additional value to which in turn will increase the equity value of the house as well as potential rental returns.
Irrespective of your goals and outcomes finding the right property shouldn't be easy, with the most challenging part being ensuring you follow your initial strategy.

Emaar MGF combined has seen its own share of controversies in the Indian real estate market, as has any major corporation setting base in India. With the Indian market plagued with corruption and red tape, almost all new entrants in the market learn the market dynamics the hard way. Emaar, which entered Indian scene after FDI was allowed by the government of India in the real estate sector, partnered MGF as its local ally in the real estate industry and started business as usual. As Emaar is known for its efficiency and capabilities around the world, it was no surprise that since 2003 Emaar MGF combined worked upon and successfully completed multiple projects with perfection and in a timey fashion. However, in the city of Hyderabad, Emaar MGF ran into a little bit of trouble when allegations were made against APIIC, Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, that the government body may have connived with corrupt official to undervalue the land to give the real estate giants undue advantage. This controversy is better known as the Emaar properties case in the media reports.
Unperturbed by the alleged involvement in the case, the growth of this real estate giant in the real estate market in India has been phenomenal. A host of new projects are being worked upon by Emaar MGF, CBI is still investigating the allegation and has not found any evidence against the real estate giant. Leaving the sour memories of Emaar properties case behind, the joint venture of Emaar & MGF have been scaling the heights of success in the Indian real estate industry with scores of projects bagged by the company all across India. One of the most famous projects of Emaar MGF in India has been the famed Common Wealth Games Village in the capital city of India, New Delhi. This project, though delayed initially due to issues with clearance from government, was successfully completed by Emaar MGF ahead of schedule, something which is rarely accomplished in India considering the delays from government authorities in giving clearances of multiple kinds.
The success of Emaar MGF in India is hardly a surprise considering the reputation of the company all over the Asian market. Based in Dubai, where it was set up in the year 1997, Emaar is the single largest real estate and property management company in Dubai. After taking the Dubai market with a storm and with architectural wonders like the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, and The Dubai Mall, arguably the biggest functional mall in the world, Emaar went all out to other nearby markets of Middle East as well. Once its prominence in the Middle Eastern market was established, Emaar moved on to countries like Morocco, Turkey, Syria and finally to the Indian subcontinent with multiple projects in India as well as the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. In the Indian real estate sector, Emaar, along with its partner MGF, is presently working on ambitious projects like launch of India's very first 7 Star hotels which Emaar MGF plans to not only construct but also manage after completion. Emaar properties case, it appears, seems to have no impact on Emaar's ambitious plans in India.

Andhra Pradesh state government had the grand vision of making its state one of the most prominent in the entire country. It requires the huge task of revamping the infrastructure of the entire state mainly its capital city, Hyderabad. Hyderabad was steadily emerging as the destination of various foreign companies as well as tourist alike. With this vision in hand, state undertaking APIIC or Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited started several projects on its own as well as with foreign collaboration to give light to this vision. Emaar Properties is no stranger to this grand strategy of APIIC since 2003. The Dubai based real estate firm joined hand with APIIC to gift Hyderabad the largest convention centre in the whole country, HICC or Hyderabad International Convention Centre and in 2006 another wondrous venture, the luxurious Novotel Hyderabad Hotel opened amid huge fanfare.
With the tremendous success it received, APIIC and Emaar again came together to develop a prestigious township in Gaichibowli area of Hyderabad. This township was planned to be the epitome of luxury and leisure. The township was named as Boulder Hills after the much acclaimed Beverly Hills in the United States. However, execution of such a grand plan is not free from hurdles. APIIC soon became embroiled in an ugly controversy over illegal acquisition of lands for Boulder Hill which it handed over to Emaar Mgf for development and the real estate baron was allegedly co-accused of siphoning off the plot at lesser price to the public. This entire mess came to be infamously known as Emaar Case, though strongly refuted by Emaar MGF and Emaar properties as false and baseless. The case came under the scrutiny of public investigator CBI and several Emaar accused has emerged due to extensive cooperation between Emaar MGF CBI. This soon resulted in summons to all Emaar accused parties. Continued investigation by CBI has foiled the plans of parties with vested interest to mar the name of this reputed firm. Giving a peep into the real dealings, Emaar MGF CBI corroboration has made the real Emaar accused writ large.
Emaar Properties is famous for its contemporary architectural designs and innovative lifestyle concepts. Since its inception in 1997 in Dubai, one of the seven emirates that collectively form the United Arab Emirates, Emaar Properties has seen its share of upheaval in the rapidly developing Dubai's real estate industry. Listed as a Public Joint Stock Company in the Dubai Stock exchange, Emaar Properties has grown its operational base in the entire Middle East, Turkey, Syria, Morocco, Egypt, Pakistan and India amongst other. With several interests such as hospitality, retail, healthcare, education and financial investment, Emaar Properties has more than 50 active companies under its Empire. Several wondrous creations like the Dubai Mall and world tallest building Burj Khalifa under its belt, Emaar Properties starting replicating its Dubai success stories in scores of countries like Africa and India, where the demands exceeds supply and are rich sources of resources. In India, it joined local real estate player MGF to form one of the most prestigious real estate company in the subcontinent Emaar MGF. Since then, it continues to rule the Indian market with its excellent architecture and innovative designs.

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
Emaar Properties started operation in India in 2005 by entering into collaboration with mega real estate player, MGF Development Limited birthing Emaar MGF. Since its inception, Emaar MGF has taken up several important developmental projects all across the nation. Major Indian cities have seen a steep rise in the numbers of luxurious residential and commercial complexes with the coming of Emaar MGF. New Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra are few major Indian cities that have been receptive to Emaar's glory. Unsurpassed luxury, superb designs, world class amenities and easy connectivity are the highlights of properties developed by this global brand. The Commonwealth Games village in New Delhi is perhaps the finest example of Emaar's unprecedented experience in the realm of construction and real estate development. Following in its wake is various modern and contemporary high rises in the neighbouring Gurgaon such as Palm Gardens, Imperial Gardens, and Gurgaon Greens etc. Each and every property has been hand crafted to perfection to meet International standards.
In Hyderabad, Emaar Properties became embroiled in a vicious controversy along with its state partner APIIC or Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation. This controversy centres around a premier leisure township developed by Emaar and APIIC together. Spread across 530 acres of land, the Boulder Hills Township is a luxurious residential self sustaining township encompassing villas, apartments, and a 5 star hotel surrounded by picturesque 18-hole golf course. In the controversy arising out of Boulder Hills Township, Emaar Properties was allegedly accused of selling off Boulder Hills plot in lower prices than agreed with the state principal in what came to be famously called Emaar case. Emaar thoroughly refuted all such nonsensical claims and demanded full scale enquiry to get to the bottom of all deals. Till date no charges has been framed against any officials of Emaar Properties or Emaar MGF combined for lack of evidences, however, CBI Emaar continues to cooperate in the ongoing investigation. Another outcome of continued CBI Emaar cooperation is the emerging can of dirty politics aimed at maligning the good name of the global player. Often regarded as one of the biggest hassle in the construction sector of the nation, Emaar case gained all the more attention from the media as several political bigwigs and celebrities were roped in for questioning by the investigating agency, CBI.
Although momentarily stunned with these iniquitous allegations of Emaar case, Emaar Properties has never backed down from its original mission of establishing itself as the quintessential real estate builder in the country. Bagging several prestigious projects all the across the nation, Emaar Properties and Emaar MGF combined has a powerful role to play in changing the looks of major Indian cities. From technology parks to shopping malls and finest 7 star hotels, Emaar Properties has gained nation-wide prominence and acceptance with its refinement and transparency. The Indian real estate development is sure to witness a rapid transformation with ventures that encompasses a complete spectrum of lifestyle change.

Emaar case is often referred to as one of the biggest hassle in the country's real estate development sector. A case that has been more hyped by media and local politicos alike, the name bestowed upon this scam surely overshadows the real culprit in the case. Although Emaar Properties has denied all allegations in the Emaar case, it had to suffer undue embarrassment just because the firm name is globally renowned and take precedence over anything. Unwittingly, Emaar became involved in allegations of breaking rules of engagement with state partner, APIIC (Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation). The global enterprise has been allegedly accused of dilution of public stake in a residential township project in Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh. Though not the primary accused in the case, media and local politician fuelled the fire by christening the scam as Emaar case. In response to all the mudslinging, Emaar MGF offered all possible cooperation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in its quest for the real culprits. And to certain extent, Emaar MGF CBI corroboration has established that Emaar Properties or Emaar MGF had no role to play in the scam. Instead several government officials have been served summons as a result of extensive cooperation between Emaar MGF CBI.
Tracing its history to 1997, Emaar Properties was founded in the emirates of Dubai and listed there as a Public Joint stock company. Since its inception Emaar Properties has established itself rapidly as the premier construction and real estate developer in the entire Middle East. Its role in the development of Dubai in the realm of construction and real estate development has been recognised all over the world. Hospitality, retail, education, healthcare, financial investments are few operational bases that Emaar has besides the core business of real estate development. Dubai, 30 years ago is a far cry from the present day Dubai, which is a representation of global enterprise hub. The world famous Burj Khalifa, the largest functional mall, Dubai Mall, the beautiful multibillion desert wonderland of Arabian Ranches, and the much admired waterfront properties of Dubai marina are few examples of Emaar magnificent contribution in the scintillating Dubai skyline. With more than 50 active companies under its span of control, Emaar today, has market presence in more than 16 countries including the entire Middle East, Africa, America, England, India and Pakistan. The enormous success in developing Dubai's landscape and the entire Middle eastern countries like Syria, Lebanon, Turkey has lead Emaar to expand its horizon beyond the realm of real estate development in the global scenario.
In India, Emaar's entry created a ripple in the Indian real estate market. Besides bringing a rich dowry of half a billion US dollars in the form of FDI or Foreign Direct Investment, the marriage between the global brand Emaar Properties and domestic market leader, MGF Development Limited made many players sit up and take notice. A global brand name associated with iconic structure and unsurpassed luxury concepts, and adding to it, the backing of a premier domestic real estate player served as a potent combination, making the journey of Emaar MGF not free from turbulence. A fine example of one such turbulence is the Emaar case. Barring the minor hiccup of Emaar case, Emaar MGF still continues to make waves in the Indian market.

Emaar CBI connection in regards to Emaar Scam is a blessing in disguise for the real estate developer as detailed CBI investigation has revealed no evidences against the global player, thus clearing its role in the much hyped Emaar Scam. Emaar, co-accused along with APIIC or Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation were embroiled in a controversy surrounding a luxurious township in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. The township spread across an area of 531 acres. Surrounded by a beautiful 18-hole international standard golf course, each residential unit within the gated boundary of this luxurious township was built to adhere to international living standards. A self sustainable unit, the township even encompasses a resort style 5 star hotel. Emaar was accused of allegedly undervaluing the plots of the township, which the real estate company has strongly denied. This controversy came to be known as Emaar Scam in the real estate industry of the country. The scam gained all the more popularity as many high ranking officials and film stars were roped in by CBI for questioning. Throughout the investigation Emaar CBI cooperation is exemplary and eye opener for media and competitors alike.
Starting its operation in India in 2005 following the deregulations of foreign trade, Emaar joined India's own MGF Development Limited in a joint venture and bought along with it a huge kitty amounting to over a half billion US dollars in FDI, which is considered as one of the largest FDI in the real estate sector of that time. Since its formation, Emaar MGF has been busy planting the seed of success throughout the country. Major Indian cities saw an unprecedented rise in the number of luxurious residential and commercial complexes with the coming of this global player. New Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Kerala are few Indian cities where Emaar MGF has scattered an array of stylish world class properties. With its signature designs and quality, Emaar MGF is forging ahead of several market leaders not only in the realm of residential properties but also in commercial, technology and retail hubs.
Emaar MGF, the creator of several mega projects including the Commonwealth Games Village in New Delhi and India's largest convention centre in Hyderabad, HICC (Hyderabad International Convention Centre) has been recognised world over for its ace customer service. Equally acclaimed are its exceptional designs, outstanding level of luxury and security. Emaar MGF's glory has found manifestation in the plush apartments of Emerald gardens in Gurgaon, Boulder Hills in Hyderabad amongst other. Besides the brief setback with the infamous Emaar scam, Emaar MGF has been on the climb with several lifestyles changing projects all over the country. The master builder has recently announced its plans to build the finest of 7 star hotels in the country's capital city New Delhi and Kolkata. The real estate giant has even shown interest in managing these luxurious properties on completion. It is just a matter of time before the brand creates the same waves in Indian hospitality management as it has in the real estate industry.

Emaar accused in the alleged controversy surrounding Boulder Hills Township in the city of Hyderabad has announced its full co-operation to the investigating state agency, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Emaar accused of selling off Boulder Hills plots to the community at lesser value than agreed with its state partner APIIC (Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation) has thoroughly refuted the allegations. Investigation is ongoing in the Emaar Property scam and till date no evidences has been found against the property developer. Besides giving a clean chit to Emaar, initial investigation by CBI is hinting at a strong mudslinging campaign against the real estate developer. Emaar has agreed to help CBI in every possible way to get into the heart of the matter.
Emaar Properties is globally acclaimed for its outstanding designs, architecture, unique concepts and customer services. Listed in Dubai stock exchange as a Public Joint stock Company, Emaar Properties was founded in the late 90's by one of the most ingenious businessman of this world, Mr Mohamed Alabbar. Under his entrepreneurial leadership, Emaar reached its height of glory in the world famous Burj Khalifa, stated to be the world tallest building. Another equally wondrous creation of Emaar is the Dubai Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in the world. With such architectural masterpiece under its cap, Emaar Properties spread across several countries and continents. A market leader, Emaar properties has more than 50 active companies under its corporation and spans across 16 markets. Several Middle Eastern countries like Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Tunisia and Egypt and Asian sub-continents particularly Pakistan and India are no stranger to Emaar's innovative concepts. Besides hand crafted luxurious residential properties, Emaar has built numbers of business hubs, commercial complexes, entertainment zone and IT parks. Dubai has seen a multitude of entertainment parks in the last two decades and the real estate developer's name is behind some of the most famous ones. With such overwhelming success in Dubai, Emaar has a grand vision to establish itself as the quintessential builder in the world and the manifestation of this vision is visible in Emaar rapid global dominance with several international joint ventures.
In India, Emaar MGF was formed with the merger between Emaar Properties and MGF development Limited in 2005. Many favourable conditions marked the entry of Emaar Properties in the Indian scenario. A steady economy with expected growth rate of 7 % with huge contribution from the growing real estate sector coupled with the ever increasing demand for the world class living standards among the Indian masses are few conditioners that paved the success chart for this global player. Each and every property of Emaar is the epitome of luxury, comfort and convenience in an upscale location. Few notable properties developed by Emaar include the Commonwealth Games Athlete Village in New Delhi, contemporary apartments of Imperial Gardens and exquisite villas of Marbella in Gurgaon, Boulder Hills Residential Township in Hyderabad, the swanky Esplanade in Chennai and the luxurious Terrace Villa floor in Mohali amongst other. Barring the small fiasco of Emaar property scam in Hyderabad, Emaar Properties and Emaar MGF combined has not sidetracked from its original mission of redefining global lifestyle.

The alleged accusations against renowned global real estate developer Emaar for its involvement in the Hyderabad land scam has been vehemently denied by the property developer. The alleged scam centres around properties belonging to Emaar in the state capital of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. An upscale community, the township was built with the vision of a self sustainable unit. Located conveniently in the heart of the city, the township is a premier residential complex surrounded by spectacular greens of an 18-hole golf course. Crafted to perfection, each residential unit is designed to fulfil international standard of living. APIIC or Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, co-builder of this luxurious venture was accused of illegal acquisition of land for the project and APIIC, in turn accused Emaar Properties for alleged dilution of public stake in the venture from 26% to 6%. Emaar in all its essence has strongly refuted these allegations and has responded with full co-operation to the highest investigating agency of the country, CBI in order to clear the mud from its impeccable repute and name. CBI Emaar joining forces has made various people sit up and watch cautiously the unveiling of the real motive behind these allegations. Apart from maligning the name of the property developer, it is also emerging as a planned campaign against foreign companies taking precedence in the local market. It is to be noted here that no charges has been framed against any officials of Emaar Properties or Emaar MGF to this date for lack of proper evidences. The global developer has criticized the local media and politician who had fuelled the fire by christening the controversy as "Emaar scam". Emaar scam or Hyderabad land scam investigation is ongoing and several APIIC officials have been served summons by CBI in this regards. Emaar has always maintained its stance since day one of the allegation for no involvement and CBI initial investigation supports its claim.
Emaar MGF was formed in 2005 by a joint venture between world foremost property developer, Emaar Properties and India's very own mega player, MGF Development Limited. Emaar is one of the world's leading real estate firms and is based in Dubai UAE. Anyone who has any interest in real estate industry would vouch for the company's impeccable reputation and professionalism. Set up in the year 1997, Emaar was launched as a real estate company but has since then moved in to many other domains including hospitality, IT, theme parks, malls and industrial infrastructure creation and management. When the Indian government decided to deregulate the Indian real estate sector, Emaar saw the potential of the market and decided to enter India by partnering a local player, MGF. However, soon enough, a politically motivated smear campaign saw Emaar finding itself in an alleged scam which the media promptly named Emaar scam or Emaar properties scandal to sell news to people by sensationalizing the entire controversy. With so many scams in the Indian market, it was a good opportunity for media to gain advertisements by making this alleged scam look like the work of Emaar as the name itself was sufficient for people to take note. As a result, a seemingly fabricated scam, which accuses mainly APIIC, or Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, of undervaluing the land to dilute public stake in an infrastructural project in the capital of Andhra Pradesh, was made to look like the work of the real estate giant from Dubai.
Emaar properties scandal, or better known as Emaar Scam, is a fine example of how innocent foreign players who come to Indian markets with innocence are made to go through a hard time by people with vested interests. There was a huge resistance to opening up of real estate sector to foreign players but when the government finally decided to open the doors to foreign players, a smear campaign was started by people with political reasons against innocent companies like Emaar. However, Emaar has taken a serious note of the situation and has committed to full cooperation with investigating agencies to bring the culprits, if any, to justice. Known for its transparent processes and professional attitude, Emaar is leaving no stone unturned to prove its innocence in the alleged Emaar properties scandal or Emaar scam. On the other hand, Emaar is also focusing on new projects which indicates that Emaar, along with MGF, has long term plans in India and that the company is not here to make a quick buck and wind up its operations.
It has been reported that Emaar MGF may be contemplating construction of the very first of Indian 7 Star luxury hotels in India and though the company has not yet disclosed its ambitious plans, rumor has it that Emaar MGF has already earmarked some of its prime real estate new the capital city of New Delhi and also in the city of Kolkata, West Bengal, for its hospitality ventures. If the success of Emaar MGF in India and Emaar properties in Dubai is anything to go by, it would not be surprising to see Emaar MGF becoming India's finest real estate player, leaving the other real estate players seeking comfort only in allegations and controversies like Emaar properties scandal or Emaar scam.

According to a survey, the number one reason social media for hotels is in fad because they help to increase brand awareness. Word-of-mouth being the most popular marketing tool, helps to build loyal customers who in turn become the hotel's brand promoter.
Consistency is the key. It really doesn't make a difference if you're an international hotel chain or a small brand, social media can certainly benefit you immensely.

There's something peculiar about the Indian media, it somehow loves sensationalism. How else can one explain why the alleged Hyderabad land scam was actually branded Emaar MGF Scam? It is very simple, the Indian news media market is limited but has far too many players. In the bid to outshine other news channels, some media houses start playing the dirty game of sensationalism to increase TRPs and earn Advertizing revenue. This is why you would notice that a lot of alleged scams and controversies are pinned to names which are popular and are easily memorable to generate interest of viewers without any considerations to the harm it can cause to innocent parties alleged to be a part of it. The finest example can be seen in the nomenclature of Hyderabad land scam which was actually branded Emaar MGF Scam. Emaar, which entered the Indian real estate sector in the year 2003and partnered a local player, MGF, as was the requirement of Indian laws governing real estate sector, was shocked to see its name being thrown into a dirty & politically motivated controversy but has not let it impact its plans for the Indian market. Emaar MGF remains bullish about the Indian real estate scenario & is seeing huge growth in its Indian arm.
Unhindered by the alleged Emaar MGF scam, the real estate company is going all out prove why it is known the world over as the finest real estate company. Before the alleged Hyderabad land scam, and even after it, Emaar has been involved in multiple prestigious projects which were assigned to this real estate giant because no other real estate company in India could be trusted to deliver the projects with such effectiveness and at short notices. As you may be aware, Emaar is the company behind the world's tallest building in Dubai, UAE known as the Burj Khalifa. This modern day architectural marvel was not only completed within the strict timelines but is known to be world most cost effective structure ever created, keeping in mind the scale of the project. Throughout the period Burj Khalifa was being constructed, there was never a doubt that anything could go wrong as the reputation of Emaar was enough to remove any doubts.
After it showed the world what it was capable of, Emaar step its foot outside the Dubai market and has been marching into new territories around the world. It was obvious that Emaar chose the Middle East to test the waters and then it moved on to countries like Egypt, Syria, Morocco and Pakistan before entering the Indian real estate market. Emaar is also active in the US market through mergers and acquisitions, especially after the US subprime crisis which caused a wave of recession throughout the world. Emaar, on the other hand, remained profitable throughout this period of recession and it is no surprise that it countered the alleged Hyderabad land scam so easily considering its transparent operations and its commitment to excellence. Emaar MGF scam allegations have long been forgotten by the company and it continues on its path to become India's finest real estate company.

In the state of Hyderabad, the state capital of Andhra Pradesh, the real estate giant from Dubai, along with its local partner MGF, found itself embroiled in a controversy regarding undervaluation of the land by a government agency. The allegation was that the government agency undervalued the land in order to give the real estate company undue monetary benefits, an allegation thoroughly refuted by Emaar MGF, CBI though is continuing its investigation into the matter. Those, probably even falsely, alleged to be the Emaar scam accused, are mostly government official and no cases have been filed against any of the official of the Emaar MGF, CBI has reportedly stated. The controversy received a lot of media attention due to the hype created by people to implicate Emaar into the alleged scam to undermine the government initiatives of opening the Indian real estate sector to foreign players. As foreign direct investment in the Indian market was only recently allowed, a lot of people with vested interests needed to create a controversy to degrade the name of foreign players to prove government policies wrong.
However, Emaar has seen a lot of politically motivated agendas in the past and it was not to be perturbed by such allegations and it has been reported that Emaar MGF, CBI continue to collaborate to bring Emaar Scam accused to justice. Known for its transparency and professionalism, Emaar MGF has not taken the allegation lying down and has gone public to defend its name and has promised unconditional support to investigation agencies to bring the right culprits to justice. Emaar MGF, since then, has continued on its path to become of the most respected Indian real estate companies, something which was expected from the real estate giant which has carved a name for itself in every single country it has set base in. The rise of Emaar started in Dubai, UAE and the marvels created by Emaar are known world over for their superior architecture, cost effectiveness and timely completion. It is not just Dubai where Emaar is respected for its remarkable achievements and feats, Emaar has been constantly gaining ground in almost the entire Middle east and countries like Morocco, Turkey, Egypt and Pakistan are testimony to the success of Emaar in the entire continent of Asia.
In the Indian market, Emaar MGF was set up soon after the Indian government deregulated the real estate sector and allowed entry of foreign players in the market in the form of joint ventures with local players. The idea was to bring in direct foreign investments in the economy while assisting the struggling real estate market. It was no surprise that Emaar MGF bagged the coveted project of constructing commonwealth games village in the Indian capital which was to host the participating athletes of the Commonwealth Games which were scheduled for 2010. The Games Village is one of Delhi's prime real estate and is well sought after by the who's who of the Indian rich. There seems to be no turning back for this real estate giant and it hopes that Emaar scam accused will be brought to justice soon so that it remove its name, for all time, from such allegations and controversy and focus on what it does best, contruction.

Emaar Properties along with state run APIIC or Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation came under the purview of CBI for alleged involvement in Emaar Properties scandal or Boulder Hills township controversy in the state capital of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. The infamous Emaar Properties scandal centres around alleged undervaluation of land in a bid to dilute public stake by the global giant. Though the allegation is far flung and lacks substance, Emaar has offered full co-operation to the state investigating body, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This lead Emaar CBI to unearth several facets pertaining to the case which were earlier ignored or disregarded besides clearing the name of the real estate giant, Emaar Properties and Emaar MGF combined. With ongoing investigation, it is rapidly emerging that the culprit was altogether a different entity while the global developer was just a scapegoat in the mother of all scams. It has been stated that Emaar is moving heaven and earth to clear it name from this false allegations and condemns such lowly acts of parties indulging in such petty acts.
Emaar started its stint in Indian market in 2005 with the deregulation of the Indian foreign trade policy. Bringing the largest FDI in the real estate sector of that time, Emaar entered into a joint venture with prominent market leader MGF Development Limited forming Emaar MGF. Emaar MGF stormed the Indian real estate sector with multitude of residential townships, technology parks, malls, business hubs and several other commercial complexes. Major Indian cites including the capital city New Delhi, Haryana, Kolkata, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh were targeted. Fresh concepts, innovative designs, superb facilities and timely delivery made the global brand a reputed household name in the country. Emaar's glory can best be seen in the superb world class Commonwealth games village located in the very heart of the national capital. Neighbouring Gurgaon too has seen several contemporary and swanky residential as well as commercial properties that are unique designs of the master builder, Emaar MGF.
Today, leaving behind the traces of Emaar Properties scandal, Emaar Properties and Emaar MGF combined has taken up several high-end projects throughout the country. With its residential properties receiving enormous success, Emaar has now announced the grand plan to venture into the thriving retail and hospitality industry. As a result of Emaar's grand visions, Kolkata and Delhi might see its first luxurious 7 star hotels in the near future. Another big step taken by Emaar towards infrastructural development of the country is redefining the standard of lifestyle in Tier-II Indian cites. Altogether a big risk but Emaar has no qualms of the project being a success given its legendary building capabilities and precision. And no wonder, the prestigious project Gomti Greens in Lucknow was a huge success. Adding another feather in its so unique cap, Emaar Properties and Emaar MGF together forges ahead in the vast river of success tackling anything and everything that hinders its progress with absolute transparency.

Article Title: How To Fix Credit Report Errors When All Else Has Failed

Did you see the 60 Minutes TV reporting the extreme amount of problems in consumer credit reports? Fort million people have errors in their credit reports. While a substantial number of these are errors get repaired through the regular channels of contacting the credit bureau, lots of people are unsuccessful in getting the errors removed from the credit reports. The result can be financially heart breaking:
a. Inability to secure a loan to get a property or perhaps an auto or schooling
b. A reduced credit score requiring increased payments for loans you can obtain
c. Continuing hounding from creditors in the case of identity theft
The issue is that the credit reporting bureaus will just take the consumer's grievance and pass it along for the creditor, ie the lending company. The financial institution then sends back a notice to the credit bureau that the data in the credit bureau's records coincides with the information of the lender. Case closed. So the advice for consumers to commence writing the credit reporting agencies to correct problems in their credit history is simply a waste of time because the credit bureaus will fix nothing and only report what the creditors tell them. The much better course of action is to go directly to the financial institution to fix credit files.
Naturally, in the most cases, your lender will just report that their documents are correct so you, the consumer, are basically wrong.
I had this specific instance happen to me twice, with 2 well-known finance institutions. In both cases, I wasted many months trying to have the error corrected through the normal channels, initially with the credit reporting agencies and then directly with the creditors. I also employed a company which advertises prolifically as being able to fix to your credit rating problems and they simply duplicated the measures that I had already completed. I next found the best remedy. I sued the creditors and credit bureaus in small claims court.
This solution is immensely powerful for many reasons:
a. In some states, your lender won't be able to dispense with you as quickly as they want. Typically, any official court action is handled by their legal division and they have a well-organized procedure for replying through legal channels. However, in some states their overpaid legal professionals are of simply no value since law firms are not allowed in small claims court. So the creditor, in order to appear or even respond, need do so using their non-legal employees. This is undesirable and expensive for them since they lack a process for this. It's much easier for your financial institution to just repair your credit report.
b. In states in which they are able to employ their legal division to respond, the hardship for the creditor is that the response has to be by appearance at a small claims court hearing. This is costly because somebody may need to get on an airplane and invest plenty of time along with cost in handling your complaint. It's much easier for the financial institution to simply change your credit history.
c. Filing an official law suit may be the only way to obtain the attention of a person with brains or authority at the financial institution. Before you do so, you'll be working with clerks and automatons that just repeat the same company policy ad nausea and you get nowhere fast. Once you get the attention of thinking individuals, oftentimes it becomes quickly obvious to them, that they need to fix your credit file.
d. You get the interest of the correct individuals and make yourself a pain in their side for less than one hundred dollars, which is the typical expense of filing a suit within small claims court.
Thus, individuals can either waste weeks of energy and have plenty of despair and irritation or acquire my e-book that explains in detail how to effectively file the action in small claims court, get the suit to the correct folks and have one's credit report fixed within sixty days.

If you are into subliminal programming I am sure you have encountered that many of them don't seem to work. All that hype and ad copy simply selling you the dream. Frankly, that makes me mad. I don't like being duped, I am sure you don't either.
Subliminal programs were incredibly popular in the late 70s and much of the 80s. Seemed like everyone had at least one Subliminal Program in their cassette collection. Audio sections of all bookstores exploded with countless titles, many offering resolutions of lifelong problems. One thing is for sure, they can work really well for you...That is until they stop working and start making your life harder.
I have studied spirituality and self help for over 22 now and I Still remember my very first subliminal audio , in fact I sigh every time I see it. It's the only cassette I own now, It has sentimental value for me. I was lucky to be raised by parents who were open-minded . That environment exposed me to all kinds of odd, but now mainstream modalities, subliminals being just one of them. I was still pretty young and didn't have a ton of issues so subliminals worked like magic. As I got older and took a few wrong turns in life I had forgotten about them. When I was down and out in the 90s, I ended up using them again. I noticed , however, that they didn't work anymore. In fact, I found they were making things even worse for me. I didn't understand why and threw them all out in fear. It took me close to a decade to figure out why this was happening. When I realized why, it all made sense to me.
Most subliminals that are available contain affirmations such as " I am prosperous and abundant" embedded behind relaxing music or nature sounds. The general premise behind subliminal messaging is that the subconscious mind is able to detect messages that are beyond our conscious minds threshold of perception. This allows the affirmation to bypass the conscious interpretive mind and go directly to the subconscious mind.
This is true, but there is one problem though, If you have deeply rooted negative thoughts and habits those conventional Subliminals and affirmations will not work for you. They will most likely give you a short term boost in mood one day and an awful crash the next.
Here is the reason why this seemingly paradoxical scenario occurs:
The Subconscious mind is like a sponge, soaking up all your experiences in life. Many of these experiences aren't all that positive, some are downright traumatic. It doesn't matter, the subconscious mind takes it all in. All your good and bad habits are a result of the information stored in it. As a rule, the Subconscious mind creates habits through a regularly reinforced loop of thoughts and/or actions. As this loop continues, the habits become more and more entrenched in your life and harder and harder to break. Old habits certainly do die hard. The subconscious minds job is to make sure to keep those habits going, it makes no judgment at all as to whether they are good for you or not. The subconscious mind did us a "favor" by making them routine. Like all habits you have, habits are routines developed over time. The Subconscious mind is simply doing its job.
But here is where it gets complicated. When the subconscious mind is exposed to anything counter to your life experiences such as affirmations, it will try to entrench your negative habits deeper. Why? Because the subconscious mind is fighting to make sure the habit stays alive and well. Remember, old habits die hard. All those " affirmations" will be almost entirely rejected because there is nothing in your experience that corresponds to the affirmation you are saying. In essence, your subcoscious mind treats it as a lie. Just saying the affirmations is useless , it must be backed by something tangible. This sounds horrible right? But there is one modality that can bypass this tendency and that is Switchwords.
Switchwords were discovered by a man by the name James T. Mangan. He was certainly out there in many of his ideas, but he made an amazing discovery. In his book "The Secret of Perfect Living" he found that the subconscious mind has several "switches". When these are "flipped", the result is often instant. Thus the name "Switchwords".
These words are single words and are often found in various combinations called "switchphrases" that contain strings of single switchwords that don't appear to have tangible meaning. They are, in a way one-word affirmations. But unlike the conventional affirmations that contain statements that your subconscious will reject entirely; Switchwords bypass this rejection and engages the subconscious mind directly with no fighting or fussing. Which means no self sabotage on your part.
What I love the most about Switchwords is that you don't need to believe in them in order for them to work for you. You can't say that for conventional affirmations on most subliminal audios and videos.
Since both subliminal videos/audios and switched communicate directly with the subconscious mind, programs have been created that combine both Switchwords and Subliminal technology to create a powerful synergy that can create rapid change. I have been using them together successfully and no other subliminal combination has worked this well. No more negative rebound for me.

Article Title: Link Baiting. The Stairway To Heaven Or The Gateway To Hell?

A lot of people are saying that the Web is going to Hell in a hand basket and it's things like link baiting that's taking it there.
Link baiting, if you're not familiar with the term, is the latest SEO trick that involves creating startling or controversial content that is so outrageous that people will naturally create back links to it in their blogs, e-zines and other web-based watering holes.
It's called link BAITING because it's all about creating a hook that draws back links like rotten fish heads attract crabs.
Now there's nothing wrong with creating hooks, mind you, and link baiting could certainly be classified as a white hat SEO tool if it weren't for the fact that so many people are abusing the concept.
Good hooks include humorous items, new items, articles and content about valuable resources and things like that.
But "Matt Cutts Devours Babies?", that's something else again. Who is Matt Cutts and why is he eating kids to begin with? Run his name through Google and you'll come up with this:
"Matt Cutts works for the quality group of Google, specializing in search engine optimization issues. He is well known in the SEO community for enforcing the Google Webmaster Guidelines and cracking down on link spam.
He certainly doesn't sound like a cannibal, but when that headline appeared on Threadwatch recently, no doubt posted by someone who wanted to annoy Google's Chief of Link Baiting Police, the back links started flowing like cheap wine in a hobo camp.
And what was the end result? A lot of buzz and pages of links in Google all pointing back and forth to every web site that took the bait and discussed their opinion of link baiting.
And Matt? He doesn't really eat babies.
What's the future of link baiting? It's going to keep on happening and it's up to us to self police. If you get taken in by a link baiting headline, don't give it more publicity by discussing it on your blog or sending it out to your e-zine subscribers. That's just as bad as forwarding those stupid "Bill Gates will send you $1,000" emails that come from YourFriend@AOL.com.
Be different. Be smart. Engage in link baiting but make it white hat and you'll keep your self respect and your credibility.

If your web site doesn't have a Top 10 search engine ranking, you're missing out on approximately 85% of the Internet users who are looking for the exact products or services you offer.
No matter how much money you're spending on online advertising, it isn't bringing you anywhere near the bang for the buck that natural search engine optimization services can according to one Phoenix Optimization Firm that specializes in providing natural search engine optimization services.
Unlike having to spend thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertising and pay-per-click online marketing strategies, an online marketing agency that provides natural search engine optimization uses techniques that are approved, and even endorsed, by all of the major search engines.
According to our Arizona SEO company contact, a professional search engine optimization service provider takes a holistic approach to boosting a web site's rankings. The steps that these companies take often include:
* Performing key word research to identify the most popular search terms Internet users are entering to find the client's products and services.
* Optimizing the web site's content pages by adding those key words, in a relevant and proper manner, to the copy that appears on each page.
* Optimizing the web site's HTML source code to accentuate those key words and to make sure that search engine spiders will have no problem fully indexing each page on the target web site.
* Develop and implement a web site linking strategy that creates both inbound and outbound links to and from other web sites that are relevant to the client's web site but are not competitors.
* Providing the client with regular search engine placement reports that demonstrate how well their natural search engine optimization services are performing.
* Being proactive when it comes to adjusting and fine-tuning each web page in order to ensure that it continues to maintain a top rank in the Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs).
If all of this sounds like a lot of work, it is. Most web masters who try to perform their own search engine optimization often fail. That's because search engines are very picky and even one technical or tactical error can cause a site to plummet to the bottom of thousands of SERPs.
Professional search engine optimization companies like our Arizona SEO company friends are worth every penny they charge and they charge a whole lot less than you'll earn if your site gets a good ranking thanks to proper natural search engine optimization services.

Millions of dollars are spent annually by companies whose online marketing strategy includes reaching out to attract new customers via e-mail shots, rich media advertising, pay-per-click and even old-fashioned banner advertising. But there is another class of marketer who is spending significantly less by focusing on letting their prospects reach out to them instead.
These are the companies that understand the secret of how business is really being conducted on the web these days, and that secret is: Search Engines.
Recent studies show that 85% of Internet users depend upon search engines to help them locate web sites selling the products or services that they are looking for. Companies who have built their web pages using search engine optimization best practices are finding that search engine-driven visitors are more likely to convert to paying customers than any other type of prospect.
Yes, search engine optimization is a hot topic these days, but not every online marketing agency understands how it works. There are far too many supposed "SEO Experts" who think that they can fool Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL and other big search engines into giving their clients the coveted "Top 10" ranking by using what Google calls "Black Arts". While doing search optimization wrong might result in a temporary pop in rank, most sites get banned from the search engines altogether once they get caught.
That's why businesses need to rely upon experts that practice what is called natural search engine optimization services. The term "natural" refers to a process where each web page is legally optimized to the particular search engine that the online marketing agency is targeting.
One of the best ways to optimize a page is to include content containing key words that are relevant to the products or services being offered.
For example, if the goal is get a top rating for an Arizona SEO Company that offers natural search engine optimization services, they might craft some content that read like this:
Our Arizona SEO Company offers natural search engine optimization services to businesses Arizona and around the world! Click the SEO Services link to find out why we're the #1 Phoenix Optimization Firm and the #1 Scottsdale Marketing Company according to a new survey conducted among e-tailers who were seeking an Arizona SEO Company!
It takes more than just good key words to get the job done, but copy like the example above is a great place to start.

Web Design Best Practices for SEO
I have written this document to help reduce the amount of issues we have recently come across. It is important to address issues like load time, cross browser compatibility, and other technical design issues.
The following Best Practices have been developed in order for us to maintain our reputation for producing quality web sites, and reduce technical problems. Please follow them and contact me if you have any questions.
You can no longer assume that every web visitor is using the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. In fact, you can't even assume that someone is using IE at all. Consider all of the various versions of browsers in use, and the fact that more and more people are turning to Firefox as well as MAC operating systems. The need to design for cross-browser compatibility has never been greater. Here are the basic cross compatibility rules that must be followed:
• Avoid using browser-specific tags.
• Check your design with the latest versions of all major browsers as well as one or two previous versions.
• Use Style Sheets, XML preferred, in order to assure a more compatible design across multiple browsers.
• View the site design with images turned "off" so you can see how your site will appear to people who use text-based browsers and automated screen readers like those used by the visually impaired.
• Take advantage of the 'ALT Text' tag so visitors who choose to surf with graphics off, or cannot see graphics for any other reason, know what each image is supposed to represent.
• Design Element Considerations
In addition to the general guidelines discussed in the previous section, it is important that special attention be paid to each of these essential design elements:
• Special Encoding Requirements
There are a number of special characters that cannot be used in a linked URL without being specially encoded in HEX characters. Although some browsers will automatically compensate for improperly coded characters, many will not.
A good rule of thumb is to encode any character that is not alphanumeric. The following characters MUST be encoded:
$-_.+!*'() plus any spaces.
• Case Sensitivity
although a server issue and not a browser one, most server software is case sensitive. Always create links using file names that match the case of the actual file that is being accessed. That way, even if the target server is not case sensitive, no maintenance will be required should the site be transferred to one that is.
• Color Issues
every monitor and color card displays colors differently. You can never assume that the shade of blue you are seeing will match the shade of blue that a visitor sees. In addition, not all browsers are capable of handling the text definition for a color. Use the HEX color definition codes instead of the corresponding words.
Avoid using the FONT color tag. Not only is this tag depreciated in current Web standards, but many users with color blindness, or those with other visual problems, set their own default colors which they will not appreciate being overwritten by your choices.
When specifying colors for any design element, put the tags into your CSS file rather than in the HTML directly.
Use only "Web Safe" colors that can be seen by anyone whose monitor and video card supports only the basic 256 color cube.
• Graphic Design Considerations
In order to assure compatibility across all graphic-enabled browsers, use only GIF, JPEG and PNG formats. . Keep in mind that some browsers are eliminating support for GIF files due to patent issues affecting the underlying LZW compression process.
PNG is an acceptable substitute for GIF. Other formats, including PICT, BMP and XBM are not widely supported yet.
• Fast Page Loading Considerations
Specifying the WIDTH and HEIGHT attribute for every graphic file allows the page to load faster because the browser can reserve space for the slower loading graphic files while it continues to render the textual portions of the page. Slice large images to speed up loading time.
• Screen Size Considerations
Never design a site with specific page height and width hard coded. Users with older monitors and video cards will not be able to easily view certain screen sizes, and other users have to stay within specific screen size settings due to default font size or other reasons. Screen sizes are also limited by people who use WEB-TV and similar services or who surf the web using handheld devices. Instead of defining absolute pixel sizes, use percentage settings whenever possible.
• Cascading Style Sheets
Cascading style sheets provide a greater degree of control over site design by keeping layout and content separate. A well-designed CSS also speeds up site loading time. Visit this site for an in-depth look at how to construct and use a CSS properly.
Current best practices dictate that the use of the TABLE tags are replaced with CSS table substitutes.
• Cookies
Although the concern is generally unwarranted, many people have turned cookie acceptance off on their browsers. IE ships with a highly-restrictive cookie acceptance policy as its default.
Consider avoiding cookie use altogether and never require the acceptance of cookies in order to view any portion of a web site. If cookies are being contemplated to track login status, consider using SESSION ID's or other appropriate cookie alternatives.
If you do use SESSION tracking, NEVER hard code a SESSION ID into any link. Doing so can compromise the site's security or the security of an individual user. The most common way that SESSION IDs get encoded into links accidentally is when the developer copies and pastes a link from their own browser that is already displaying a SESSION ID.
• JavaScript Considerations
JavaScript is not supported by all browsers and those that do support JavaScript often implement that support differently. Many current browsers block JavaScript and require the user to click on a warning dialog box in order to allow JavaScript to execute. This warning box intimidates many users. A great number of users turn JavaScript support off completely.
If you do use JavaScript, be sure to fully implement the NOSCRIPT tags to hide the JavaScript code from non-compatible browsers.
NEVER use JavaScript to affect a browser redirect. This is a form of search engine "trickery" that can get the site banned by Google and others. Speaking of redirects, always use the HTTP 301 Status code and Location header to handle permanent page or site redirection. There is no search engine penalty incurred with this method.
Keep in mind that these best practices represent the minimum quality standards that we want to code to. Remember, when in doubt; choose what's best for the user who is visiting the site with the lowest level of available technology.
