Your home is your most important investment. Just as the interior of your home reflects your personality, so does the exterior. A nicely landscaped backyard can be a joy...but not if you have to work hard to keep it up.
If you've moved into a new house with a nice backyard, or if you've lived a long time in your current home but just never looked –really looked– at your backyard before, now's the time to start. Your yard can be so much more than the usual: grass everywhere, a few trees scattered here and there, perhaps a flower garden planted alongside one wall.
But there's plenty of things you can do to beautify a backyard, but that won't end up causing you to spend hour after how on its upkeep afterwards! Of course that's fine if tending to your yard is your favorite hobby. There are landscape materials out there to suit every taste - you just need to find out what's right for you - and for your yard.
If you have no knowledge of landscaping and don't have time to learn - there are experts out there who will do your landscaping for you. Just look in your local yellow pages to get their names - then do some research into each to make sure they will do the job you want, at the price you can afford to pay. Even research them on the web, if they have a website, to see all they have to offer.
Other places to go in search of information, or for ideas, are your local gardening clubs or gardens. Walk around, see what they've done, and find out if you can adapt what they've done to your own backyard.
Even if you have a green thumb, the web is still the place to go to find new landscaping ideas, as well as tips and advice for do-it-yourself projects to improve the look or utility of your yard. There are all kinds of communities on the web where people with the same enthusiasms help each other, and gardening and landscaping is no different.
The Landscape Design Site, maintained by Steve Boulden, is a comprehensive landscaping site that provides you with information on practically any subject under the sun, from "creating focal points" to "xeriscaping" (for those dry-as-a-bone areas) to "making moss rock." There are also landscaping forums there for you to chat with like-minded people.
Landscaping Ideas Online is another invaluable resource for the do-it-yourself landscaper.
If you're interested in landscaping specific to your own area, simply do a search on the web for "landscaping ...." whatever state you happen to be in, and you'll soon find yourself faced with a plethora of choices to choose from.
If you want to landscape your backyard to make it a thing of beauty and a joy forever, you'll want to do it right first time. The more research you do before hand, the less work you'll have to do later. And doing the research is enjoyable in itself! So start researching.

Building a deck is a home improvement project that many people choose to do. By planning and preparing carefully, you will find the exact deck pattern for your home and yard.
When planning your deck building, you will want to look carefully at the deck railing choices that are available. Many people choose to build a deck themselves as a project, because a deck can make a big difference in the look and feel of your home. It also adds value to your home and may even be a focal point of your home. A deck will also give you a great place to entertain during the warmer months.
Deck railing comes in many different styles, sizes, and designs. You will want to make sure that the deck railing that you choose blends with the deck pattern that you have chosen. Planning and preparation is an essential part of your deck planning and building. If you prepare and plan carefully, you will find that a deck can give you years of fun and enjoyment.
Things to Consider
Here are some things that you need to consider when choosing which deck and railing pattern that you are going to us:
• Location – You first need to determine where you are going to build your deck. The size of your home and how it is located on your land will have a big impact upon your deck placement. You need to remember that you may have several options for your deck, including enclosing the deck for privacy or making a walkway to your deck.
• Climate – The climate of the area that you live in is also very important. A moist environment will dictate what kind of material that will work best for your deck railings and deck.
• Style – You want to choose a deck that will enhance the look of your home. For example, you will not want to put a traditional, colonial railing on a home with a contemporary style. Be certain that you keep the style of your home in mind when looking at patterns for your deck and rails.
• Size – The rails that you choose will be dependent upon the size and shape of your deck. You want to check with your local government, neighborhood covenant, or homeowner's association because there may be limits on the size of deck and the design of the deck that you can build in your yard. If you build against their wishes, then you could be looking at steep fines or you may have to tear down your deck and rebuild it according to their specifications.
• Shape – Consider the shape of your desired deck when you are looking for a deck plan. You can usually find plans for almost any shape of deck, but you will want to carefully look at the plans to make sure that it meets your desires.
Preparation is the key to finding the best deck and railing pattern for your particular yard and desires. By simply doing some preparation and planning, you will find that your deck choice can give you years of fun and enjoyment.

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
The lawnmower was invented in the 1830s in Englnad, to replace the scythe in preparing cricket pitches and tennis courts. From this it evolved into the number one lawn care tool.
If you don't replace your grass with astroturf (and to me that makes a lot of sense, but I know I'm in the minority here) you will always have to spend some time of your week mowing your lawn. Grass looks great when its from 3 to 4 inches long, but after that it does begin to look unkempt. Your home is your most important investment and it reflects your personality...and your lawn is the first part of your home that anyone ever sees.
There are many kinds of lawnmowers on the market, from the most rudimentary push-mowers to the most sophisticated remote-control models, the result of over a hundred years of lawnmower evolution.
Lawnmowers have been in existence since the 1830s, when a freelance engineer in Gloucestershire, England by the name of Edwin Beard Budding took out a patent on the mechanism, and it went in to mass production in the 1850s. The first lawnmowers were hand-powered. The first steam-powered lawnmower came out in 1893, and in the 1930s the gasoline-engine powered lawnmower came out on the market, and took it over.
But gasoline-powered engines are loud, and they need quite a bit of strength and technique to start. And...they take gasoline! There are a couple of solutions.
For the smallest lawns, push-mowers work a treat. It's all muscle-power, so you get a lot of exercise out of it.
For the slightly larger lawn, the electric mower works great. It's necessary for them to be plugged in to an electric outlet, and you'll be trailing a power cord behind you. It is imperative, therefore, that you use care with these types of mowers so that you don't run over the cord and accidently cut it.
Cordless electric lawnmowers do exist. Black & Decker makes a few models, as does Makita.
And just as you can now get remote-controlled mops and vacuum cleaners, you'll soon be able to get a remote-controlled lawnmower. Evatech is one company that has developed such a device. It will take all the exercise out of mowing your lawn, but it will still be a lot of fun as you'll operate it via hand controls.
The Advantages Of Electric Lawnmowers
1. The noise. Quite simply, gasoline engines are noisy and you should wear ear protectors with even the smallest of them. And quite apart from your own ears, the noise can irritate your neighbors if you choose an inopportune to operate it.
2. The pollution. A gasoline engine emits from 2-3 times more pollution than a car engine does!
So the electric lawnmower is the mower of the future.

People who move into new houses are able to have their front and back yards designed anyway they wish. But people with long-established yards can give their landscape a new look with some easy techniques.
It's easy to landscape your lawn when you're moving into a brand-new house and you're faced with an empty canvas on to work your magic. It's only slightly more difficult to landscape a yard that has been in existence for several years and has grown set in its ways.
Whether your yard is new or old, the key to getting everything done quickly, efficiently, and with a minimum of muss and fuss is to make a plan before hand. Know what you want to do, know what you have to do...and then do it.
Just as you would before you plan a new or major renovation of your yard, take some time to learn about its features. Do more than observe where the sun shines best and when - write it down so you can take advantage of it. Note where water collects after spring thaw or heavy rain. What is the direction of the prevailing wind? Where does your lawn slope? Where are the best views?
It's not necessary to redo the entire yard just to fix a few localized problems. If you have places where the grass has died, figure out why. Does it not get enough sun? It's difficult to grow grass underneath shade trees, for example, but it can be done. Simply water the tree extremely well so that the water goes down to the roots, so that the roots don't have to come up to the surface to compete with the grass. However long you like to mow the rest of your grass, set your mower to allow the grass underneath the trees to grow slightly longer, so it is better able to absorb the sunlight.
No problems, just bored with the old?
Again, there's no need for a major facelift. Simply add a few new features which will end up making the whole yard look new.
Re-painting or re-staining your fences are always a good idea. If you don't like the look of a fence you can always put a line of shrubberies against the public sidewalk and let their beauty add to your privacy. Of course you'll have to prune them frequently to keep them looking neat.
Do you like your flower beds and vegetable garden but simply feel that there's something missing? The finishing touch can often be as simple as a piece of statuary, or other ornament. Visit your local garden store to see what types of items they offer, or search the web.
Adding statues and different fixtures is cheaper way to bring a new look to a landscape. You'll probably be able to find local businesses offering statuary, but there's no reason not to surf the web and see what else is out there. is a company that offers dragons, eagles, gargoyles and even humorous pigs as well as the more typical types of ornamentation. Hastings Architectural is one of many sites that also offer statues, and planters of all kinds.
Brighten up your lawn
The easiest way to brighten up your backyard - or your front yard, come to that, is by adding new flowers. It's not even necessary to dig up a portion of your yard and plant flower beds. Simply grow the flowers in portable pots and you can move the pots around from spot to spot as the spirit moves you, as a sort of moveable feast for the eyes.
If you do want to add flower beds, make sure you choose the right location that gets plenty of sunlight, and that the soil pH balance is adequate for your needs. Then discuss what you'd like to have with the people at your local garden store who can advise you on what flowers grow best in your area, when they bloom, and other considerations.
Enjoy It
It's hard to enjoy your yard if you can't view it comfortably except from your kitchen windows. So consider picking up some comfortable wicker furniture, or even a couple of rocking chairs, for use in your garden.

*********************** ARTICLE START ***********************
Garden tractors have been in use for almost a hundred years, and make taking care of large lawns a snap. But accidents do happen, so make sure you use the right tractor for the job.
If you have a large front or back yard, chances are you'll use a riding mower to do the mowing. These mowers are certainly a boon, but you have to treat them carefully. Like any other piece of equipment, you'll need to do some research to ensure that it is just enough for your needs - not too small to do the job you need it for efficiently, but not too powerful either.
Regardless of what type of mower (otherwise known as a garden ttractor) you use, always think of safety first. Do not use your tractor if there are children about - or if they suddenly turn up. No matter what their age, it's possible that they'll get behind the tractor at an inopportune time and be run over should the tractor start rolling backwards. (Currently the blade of a tractor does not stop turning if a mower starts rolling backwards.) Don't let children play on or near a tractor even when its safely turned off.
The larger the tractor you have, the larger the center of gravity...and the easier it will be to tip over if used carelessly, or on too steep a grade of hill. If your property is hilly it is imperative that you purchase a low-center-of-gravity mower to prevent this from happening. In this day and age when cell phones are relatively inexpensive, it's always a good idea to carry the phone with you in case of emergencies.
That's not to say that every time you get on a garden tractor you're riding into danger. Far from it. Of all the people who use riding mowers and lawn tractors in a year, only an average of 75 people die or are seriously injured in accident, and these will invariably be people who have hilly lawns or lawns with steep grades. So it's always best to be prepared, and its simply common sense to use the right tractor for the job.
Garden Tractors - the beginning
The early garden tractors were powered by steam engine, with the diesel engine going into use just before WWI. With the loss of so many men to the Armed Forces, these tractors were a lifesaver for the farmers left behind to work the fields.
Choosing your garden mower or tractor
Choose your mower or tractor carefully. If your yard is large, but not that large, there's no need to get a humongous piece of equipment.
If your terrain is hilly, make sure you get a riding mower with enough horsepower to get up those hills. But again, make sure that it has a low center of gravity, and don't allow young children or careless teens to operate such a mower on extremely steep slopes.
Be safe
• Check your tractor regularly to make sure it is in good working condition.
• Use the tractor for what it was designed for, and nothing else.
• Don't get distracted. Always pay attention to what you are doing, and to your surroundings.
• Never ride with passengers. If your kids use the tractor ingrain it into them that they must not try to give rides to their friends or to "show off."
• Always use the hand brakes after stopping your tractor, and if it is on any kind of a slope make sure you put chocks under the front wheels to prevent it from rolling backward. Best of all, of course - never stop it on a slope of any kind.
Fuel Saving Tips
• Change the fuel filters on a regular basis.
• Have your tractor serviced on a regular basis.
• Clean or change air filters regularly.

Article Title: Choose The Proper Grass Type For Your Lawn

There are all kinds of grass on the market - from different colors such as yellow to light to dark green. There's grass that doesn't need a lot of water or sunlight, and there's grass that does. There's grass that can stand up to kids running over it, and there's grass that's a bit more delicate.
There's nothing quite as simple and elegant as a simple grass lawn, without all those extra fripperies that require extra work. With a nice, lush lawn, all you have to do is mow it once a week and you're done with the work, but you'll be able to enjoy it forever.
Does your current lawn have brown spots where the grass has died? Has it been taken over by weeds? Are there dips and soft spots that are hard to mow? Then its time to replace your old grass with a lush new covering.
The first thing to do before replacing your grass is to find out if the soil is healthy. It's imperative that your soil be able to supply nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and the other elements necessary to ensure that your grass remains healthy. In order to do this, your soil needs to be pH balanced. "pH" refers to the "power of hydrogen," and is used to express the acidity or alkalinity of your soil. If your soil has a pH of 7.0 is neutral - and good. If it's less than 7.0 the soil is considered acid, and above 7.0 is considered alkaline. Once you know the pH level, you can add lime to raise the pH, or sulphur to lower it. You'll want the tests conducted in several spots on your lawn.
Types of grass
There are many types of grasses, and you'll want to choose the appropriate kind of grass for your lawn. If your area doesn't get a lot of rain you'll want to use one kind of grass...if it gets a lot of rain, still another. If kids are going to be running around on the grass you'll want a grass that can stand up to being constantly compacted. Discuss your needs with your local gardening professional.
What color should you have?
There's nothing like the look of a lush, dark green lawn. However, grass is as unpredictable as life itself, and it's quite possible lighter colors of grass can be mixed in with the dark green portions. Like the minions of the Red Queen you can paint those intruders to match the rest of your lawn (I'm joking here) but the easiest thing to do is choose a grass color in which all shades of green are blended together.
Grass seed or sod?
Sewing grass seed is the least expensive way to start your new lawn, but it can be hit or miss as a sudden rainstorm can wash all the seed away before it has a chance to germinate and take root. Planting grass "plugs" is another solution...a slightly more intensive one, as you place these plugs in straight lines up and down your lawn, let them take root, and eventually they'll spread to cover the rest of the lawn. The quickest way, but also the most expensive, is to use sod - grass already growing which can simply be unrolled onto the well-prepared ground.
Maintenance
Depending on whether or not you seeded your lawn used plugs, or sod, you must take good care of it until it's actually filled out into a nice, lush lawn. Make sure you read and follow the directions for any type of grass that you use. Water it on a regular basis, and use organic fertilizer if required.
Properly maintained and cared for, your lawn will grace your home for generations to come.

The thing about landscaping is that you're taking what nature has created, and changing and altering it to fit your own needs, wants and desires. The ability to affect nature for the better began in the 1800s.
Up until about a hundred years ago, the average person didn't have a lawn to worry about. They were too busy going to work, putting food on the table, and trying to educate their children. It was only when people started leaving the farming life for the life of the cities and suburbs that single-family houses sprang up in droves, and people had the money to spend on such luxuries as landscaping.
Which is not to say that landscaping is a brand new profession. As early as the 1800s, the wealthy of practically any country were able to employ professional artisans to build gardens and landscape their homes. Of course, they weren't average people, but nevertheless it's fun to learn about the forerunners of today's landscape designer.
The most famous is the British landscape designer, "Capability" Brown. His real name was Lancelot Brown, but it was his habit to look at a piece of real estate and say, "It has capabilities," and t hat is how he got his nickname. Brown has been called England's "most famous gardener." He was born in 1716 and died in 1783, and yet over a hundred years later his legacy lives on. Over 44 of his gardens are still in existence today (he designed over 170). Of course that's because he designed these gardens for the "landed families", or nobility, who were not about to sell their mansion every ten years and move up to a bigger one.
Prior to Capability Brown, the landed families had huge "formal gardens." Brown changed all that, encouraging his clients to make use of a more naturalistic design, with compositions of grass, clumps of trees, and pools and lakes.
England has Capability Brown, the United States has Frederick Law Olmsted. Olmsted was born in 1822 and died in 1903. He went to Yale and studied agricultural science and engineering.
In 1853, the New York legislature decided that they'd have to create a park in the middle of the city, for their many inhabitants. They held a contest to decide who would design it, and Frederick Olmsted and his partner, English architect Calvert Vaux, were awarded the contract, to create a "greensward," as Olmsted termed it. " The park was not created on barren land, however - many poor people and free blacks were evicted from their homes under eminent domain so that the park could be placed there. (Not that that was Olmsted's fault - that's where the legislature wanted the park, and that's where they were going to put it regardless.)
Olmsted went on to make a career out of creating city parks - indeed he conceived the system of parks and interconnecting parkways. Two of the best examples are the park system he designed for Buffalo, New York, and the system for Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Olmsted and his partners also designed over 355 school and college campuses.
So as you walk through your city and see all the greenspaces and landscaping, spare a thought for the landscape architects who brought all this beauty to you. Studying the history of landscape architecture is fun and informative.

It's easy to see your beautiful landscape during the daytime, and usually that's the only time you think about it. But why not enjoy those scenes at night as well, with lighting that will accentuate and add beauty to every setpiece.
There's an extra element to landscaping that many people don't even think about, and that's lighting. In broad daylight, of course, there's no need for lighting, as you'll be able to sit back and enjoy your front or backyard, meticulously designed just the way you want it, with no problem at all. But, what's the point in lighting your yard at night, you'll be asking yourself.
Security
Outdoor lights are one of the best accessories you can add to your home from a security issue. Everyone should have a porch light, so those hard-working pizza drivers can find your house if nothing else! But with a porch light or a lamp post illuminating your front door, this provides extra security against intruders.
And it's not even so much to guard against intruders. Who hasn't fumbled with their keys when trying to fit a key into a lock they can't see? Placing a row of lights next to your garden paths can ensure that unsuspecting feet don't step off into the flower beds.
Accents
Why just be able to enjoy the beauties of your gardens at night? With strategically placed lights you can enjoy your miniature fountains or waterfalls, water gardens or rock gardens at any time. Indeed, they may even look more spectacular at night. And its not just a question of accenting your garden. By lighting up your entire home with carefully placed spotlights, it can be made a work of art in itself.
Celebrating the seasons
Lots of people put up lights for the holidays - and go to a great amount of trouble stringing lights on their garage and on the eaves of their house. Then, two weeks later, they go through all the trouble of taking those lights down again. By designing a lighting system that will be semi-permanent, you remove the need for all that extra work. Simply change out the bulbs for those of different colors, depending on the season.
Where's the power come from?
Give a thought to your lighting needs. If you choose line voltage fixtures that can get their power from your home's electrical system, you'll want the wires to run underground. You'll want to have these installed by a professional. Also, make sure that you have a plan of where these underground wires are installed, because if you do any digging in future - or if you sell the home and the new owner wants to do some digging - it will be all too easy to cut through these wires if no one knows where they are.
The other choice that also works great, is to use solar light fixtures. These feature a solar cell that absorbs energy from the sun and stores it in rechargeable batteries. These types of lights are easily installed by the homeowner, but how long they will last can be a question.
To find out what kinds of lights are available, visit your local home and garden or home improvement center. However, a lot of companies offer their wares on the web as well. Seagull Lighting has practically every type of outdoor light you can imagine, as does Lights by Lighthouse.

As with any project, to do a landscaping job properly you need to have a detailed knowledge of the ground the way it is, and the way you want it to be. Only then can you bring your landscaping ideas to fruition.
Think of your house as a jewel. If the setting in which it stands isn't right, it spoils the effect of the house itself. The setting, in this case, is your front and back yards. Most people, of course, will only see your front yard - casual passers-by or the casual visitor. Your backyard, however, can be your own inner sanctum, the place where you go to retreat and reflect on life, the universe, and everything. So your landscaping can consist of an integrated design for both front and back yards, or two distinctively different designs, depending on what you want to accomplish.
It's important to remember that your yards - the trees, the grass, the plants and flowers - are living things - and that you can bend them to your will in many ways, but if they do not have the right kind of soil and are not properly cared for, they will die.
So before you actually dig your hands into the rich earth and start planting anything, make sure that you have a detailed plan of what you want to do - and that you follow that plan.
Before you decide which flowers, grasses and plants your going to use in your landscaping, you must pay attention to the ground in which you're going to put them. Spend a week or so tracking the sunlight and shade and how it plays across every square inch of your yard. The amount of sunlight an area receives will determine what types of flowers or plants you want to place there.
But don't forget to track the ground's reaction to rain, either. Are there any areas that remain soft for a long time after a rain? Are there any areas where the water has pooled? Again this will effect what you do with those areas of ground.
What about trees? Are there currently any trees in your yard and if so, do you plan to keep them all? After a couple of years spent raking leaves during the fall you might consider getting rid of those trees and replacing them with evergreens. Evergreens present their own challenges, of course, as its sometimes difficult for grass to grow right up amongst the roots of the tree.
Do some soil tests, as well. These are done easily with a kit you can buy from any local garden store, or even the bigger supermarkets. You need to check for the pH balance of your soil. If it is too alkaline or too acidic, plants won't grow properly, and you'll have to add fertilizer to help put the pH balance back to even.
Make a physical plan
Get yourself some graph paper, and some tracing paper to put over it. Draw a scale-model drawing of each yard on a piece of graph paper, blocking out all important areas such trees and other features that are to remain, and features that will be removed. Then use the tracing paper to sketch in various ideas for flower beds and ornamental design. If you want to get fancy, you can also buy software which will enable you to make these plans in three dimensions.
Where to get ideas
While you're tracking the private life of the ground, you can also be on the lookout for ideas you'd like to implement. There are dozens of magazines on landscaping and gardening, and innumerable books available from your local library or bookstore. The Home and Gardening Channel will be a fount of ideas as well.
The right equipment
Depending on the size of your yards, you might not want to buy all the equipment you'll need to do your landscaping, as you'll probably only need garden rollers and aerators once a year. This equipment can usually be rented from your local garden store.
The right crew
Depending on what you're going to be putting into your landscape - fountains, ponds, heavy statuary, make sure you have the right crew for the job. Don't try to move a heavy statue yourself, for example, and if you have absolutely no technical experience, it's always best to hire a professional to install a pond or fountain.
With all the right stuff, your home will shine like a jewel in its proper setting.

People with large lawns would do well to consider purchasing a lawn tractor, which in addition to simply mowing the lawn can dig and haul. But with any powerful piece of machinery, care and attention must be paid to its use.
If you have a large lawn, and need to do a lot of hauling or digging, it may be time to move up from a small riding mower to a more powerful lawn tractor. You'll save a great deal of time in mowing your lawn that you can then spend doing something a bit more enjoyable.
Of course, lots of people enjoy the feeling of power that mowing a lawn gives them. Richard Widmark, in an article in Architectural Digest way back in 1991, said, "Mowing is very satisfying. It's all about wanting everything to be neat and under control."
Large lawns take a lot of water, and a lot of fertilizer, to look their best all year round, unless you are careful to choose those types of grasses that don't need a lot of water, and typically don't need a lot of fertilizer. Native grasses are growing in popularity, as opposed to importing "exotics" from other climate regions, and then forcing them to grow where they don't normally grow. However, that's an issue for another time. Let's get back to lawn tractors.
Buying A Lawn Tractor
Treat your purchase of a lawn tractor as you would that of buying a car or any other means of transport. It is after all a major investment. Visit the showrooms of various manufacturers (or look at their sites on the web) to see what kind of features each model has, and what their quality and reliability ratings are from such independent consumer groups as Consumer Reports. If possible, test drive the tractor.
Engines
There are three types of engines on a tractor - air-cooled and liquid-cooled gasoline engines, or liquid-cooled diesel engines. Each one has its advantages...and its attendant costs.
Accessories
The basic cost of a tractor usually does look quite attractive...and then you learn the costs of those add-ons, or accessories. Just like a car, the nicer the accessories, the more expensive the model will turn out to be.
Accessories consist of such things as canopies over the driving cockpit to keep you protected from the sun on hot days, and grass collection bags. Cutting decks are considered accessories. They vary in width. A smaller cutting deck will come standard on the tractor, but you can replace it with a larger deck, for a fee.
Safety
Lawn tractors have a low center of gravity. This makes it possible for them to mow on slopes - there's less chance of them tipping over. However, most accidents with lawn tractors do happen on slopes - no matter how low the center of gravity a steep slope will have the last laugh. The best thing to do is plant ground cover on the slope which will prevent erosion - and yet never need mowing.
Always wear ear protectors and safety glasses and sturdy shoes. Never have a "lawn mower race" - if you like to get some speed out of your tractor do it on a track in a recognized event - not on your own lawn.
Never mow with an audience. Kids may become distracted and run in front or behind you and be hit by flying rocks. Never mow with passengers.
If your mower jams, turn everything off. Clear any jam with a tool - not with your bare hand.
A manual will come with your lawn tractor. Read it, and keep it in a safe place so you can refer to it when needed.

Gasoline-powered lawn mowers are loud, and emit a great deal of pollution. The solution is the electrical or battery-powered lawn mower. Battery-powered lawn mowers are good for small lawns.
Most lawn mowers are powered by gasoline. Up until recently they have been the easiest mowers to use. It was necessary only to pull the starter cord a few times, or use the electric starter, and then mow to your heart's content. But gasoline-powered mowers are noisy and they do rather pollute the air with their emissions.
One of the knocks against the electric-powered lawnmower was that it was awkward to use. The mower must be plugged in via a long power cord, and care must be taken not to snarl or run over the power cord.
Now, you've got another choice - the battery-operated lawnmower. A battery-operated lawnmower will generally have enough power to allow the operator to mow both the front and back yards on one charge, unless they are extremely large.
It all depends on the battery, though. Some batteries last for thirty minutes between charges, others last up to an hour. The key thing is that they are rechargeable, so that there's no need to bury them in a garbage dump. Although...even these batteries only last about five years or so - and then must be recycled.
There are several types of batteries: alkaline - which are not used in lawn mowers, lead acid - which are gradually being replaced by nickel cadmium, and lithium batteries - which are not only expensive but also have low storage capacity.
Nickel cadmium batteries
If you are buying a new battery operated lawn mower, make sure you get one powered by a nickel cadmium (Ni-cad) battery. They are simply better than the lead acid - they can be recycled and are environmentally friendly.
Extending battery life
As with any other type of mower, there are times when you should mow your lawn and times when you shouldn't. You should never try to mow wet grass - it produces a tremendous strain on the battery - or engine - and doesn't do your grass much good, either. Don't let your grass grow such that you're cutting off more than three inches at a time - again, bad for the engine or battery, and bad for the grass itself.
Ni-Cad batteries
Ni-Cad batteries are maintenance free. All you need to do is make sure you do not re-charge the batteries until they are completely discharged. The batteries have a 'memory' - if you recharge them when they don't need to be, they will remember the energy state they were at when they were recharged, and will believe themselves to be run down the next time they reach that state - even though they have plenty of power left. (Okay, there's a bit of anthropomorphism there, but you get the idea.)
If you're concerned about the environment - and we all should be - the battery-operated or electrical lawn mowers should be our choice.

From decorative trees such as evergreens, that just sit there and don't drop their leaves in fall, to fruit trees which can provide you with apples or cherries in season, the choices of trees for your landscape are endless.
A lush green lawn is one of the joys of a backyard - providing plenty of room for children to play tag or catch, for those with a green thumb to indulge in their passion for gardening. And then there's the people who simply like to sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful landscape that has been created for them by others.
But whatever your landscape looks like, it has to be maintained, and one of the most time consuming tasks in caring for a front or back lawn is mowing. Unless you obtain a robot mower that does everything on its own (available now, these mowers cost more than the average homeowner cares to spend.)
One way to cut the maintenance time of mowing your lawn...is to reduce the size of the mowing area by breaking up the lawn with additions of flower beds, vegetable beds, herb gardens and trees.
If you currently have no trees in your lawn, and want to add some - not only to cut down on your mowing time but also because you think they might look quite attractive in your landscape - there are a few things you need to consider. First, just as you need to mow your lawn regularly every summer, come the fall - do you want to spend the first three weeks of the season constantly raking fallen leaves?
You will not be planting tree seeds, of course, but rather saplings that have already grown for a couple of years. These saplings can either be of decorative trees or fruit trees - each one requiring its own particular type of care.
Plant To A Plan
Once you've decided on what type(s) of trees you want to get, you'll know if they need a lot of sunlight, or only a little sunlight. Then you must decide where to put them in your yard. If you want trees that require a lot of sun - there's no point in planting them in an area that doesn't get enough sun.
Don't plant any trees within ten feet of your home. The root system can grow into your basement, for example, and during wind storms broken branches can damage your roof. (Once the tree grows that high, of course!) And never plant near overhead power lines.
On the other hand, don't plant trees too close to your sidewalks. Kids like to climb on trees - and if they fall off and break an arm it will be you who is liable, regardless of how many times you told those same kids not to climb on your trees.
Call Before You Dig
One you've decided where your trees need to be planted for the appropriate amount of sunlight, and for the appropriate type of soil and drainage - you must call your local utility company to find out if there are any power lines running through your property. Indeed, in most cases it is the law that you must do so.

Success is so much more than economic gains, titles, and degrees. Planning for success is about mapping out all the aspects of your life. Like a map, you need to define the following details: origin, destination, vehicle, backpack, landmarks, and route.
Origin: Who you are
A map has a starting point. Your origin is who you are right now. Most people when asked to introduce themselves would say, "Hi, I'm Jean and I am a 17-year old, senior highschool student." It does not tell you about who Jean is; it only tells you her present preoccupation.
To gain insights about yourself, you need to look closely at your beliefs, values, and principles aside from your economic, professional, cultural, and civil status. Moreover, you can also reflect on your experiences to give you insights on your good and not-so-good traits, skills, knowledge, strengths, and weaknesses. Upon introspection, Jean realized that she was highly motivated, generous, service-oriented, but impatient. Her inclination was in the biological-medical field. Furthermore, she believed that life must serve a purpose, and that wars were destructive to human dignity.
Destination: A vision of who you want to be
"Who do want to be?" This is your vision. Now it is important that you know yourself so that you would have a clearer idea of who you want to be; and the things you want to change whether they are attitudes, habits, or points of view. If you hardly know yourself, then your vision and targets for the future would also be unclear. Your destination should cover all the aspects of your being: the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. Continuing Jean's story, after she defined her beliefs, values, and principles in life, she decided that she wanted to have a life dedicated in serving her fellowmen.
Vehicle: Your Mission
A vehicle is the means by which you can reach your destination. It can be analogized to your mission or vocation in life. To a great extent, your mission would depend on what you know about yourself. Bases on Jeanís self-assessment, she decided that she was suited to become a doctor, and that she wanted to become one. Her chosen vocation was a medical doctor. Describing her vision-mission fully: it was to live a life dedicated to serving her fellowmen as a doctor in conflict-areas.
Travel Bag: Your knowledge, skills, and attitude
Food, drinks, medicines, and other travelling necessities are contained in a bag. Applying this concept to your life map, you also bring with you certain knowledge, skills, and attitudes. These determine your competence and help you in attaining your vision. Given such, there is a need for you to assess what knowledge, skills, and attitudes you have at present and what you need to gain along the way. This two-fold assessment will give you insights on your landmarks or measures of success. Jean realized that she needed to gain professional knowledge and skills on medicine so that she could become a doctor. She knew that she was a bit impatient with people so she realized that this was something she wanted to change.
Landmarks and Route: SMART objectives
Landmarks confirm if you are on the right track while the route determines the travel time. Thus, in planning out your life, you also need to have landmarks and a route. These landmarks are your measures of success. These measures must be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time bound. Thus you cannot set two major landmarks such as earning a master's degree and a doctorate degree within a period of three years, since the minimum number of years to complete a masterís degree is two years. Going back to Jean as an example, she identified the following landmarks in her life map: completing a bachelorís degree in biology by the age of 21; completing medicine by the age of 27; earning her specialization in infectious diseases by the age of 30; getting deployed in local public hospitals of their town by the age of 32; and serving as doctor in war-torn areas by the age of 35.
Anticipate Turns, Detours, and Potholes
The purpose of your life map is to minimize hasty and spur-of-the-moment decisions that can make you lose your way. But oftentimes our plans are modified along the way due to some inconveniences, delays, and other situations beyond our control. Like in any path, there are turns, detours, and potholes thus; we must anticipate them and adjust accordingly.

One of the biggest health problems that we face today are hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoid or piles is a medical condition wherein the veins in the rectal area, primarily in the anus, are inflamed and swollen. Thousands of people are suffering from this condition and it is now a very common condition today. The reason for this is that most people today spend their time in front of the television or in their backyard sitting in a relaxing chair. Because of this type of lifestyle, most people are suffering from hemorrhoids. Through the natural hemorrhoid cure, people will be able to face this type of disease in no time.
Why Use Natural Hemorrhoid Cure?
There are a lot of reasons as to why we should use natural alternatives in treating hemorrhoids. The main reason as to why most people prefer using natural treatments is because modern treatments today have various side effects which might be dangerous to some. There are some pharmaceutical creams which can trigger allergic reactions in the skin. There are also some drugs which also tend to have an allergic reaction to the body. Once a person consumes the drug, the drug might irritate his esophageal tube, causing his airway to be blocked. That is why most people prefer the use of natural forms of treatment rather than the pharmaceutical based products.
What are Some Natural Cures for Hemorrhoids?
One of the most common types of cures for hemorrhoids is fiber. Fiber is beneficial because it relieves bleeding and other symptoms. It can also soften stool and it can dramatically reduce straining, itching, pain, and discomfort. There are a lot of food products which contain fiber, such as vegetables and whole grains. There is also a fiber supplement called Psyllium and it is chunk full of fiber. This supplement is inexpensive and it can be mixed with several drinks.
Another natural treatment for hemorrhoids is the application of hazel compress. Hazel cream can be taken from the bark or the leaves of Witch Hazel. Once extracted, its cream is applied in the anal area and it actually reduces bleeding and pain. The extract of Witch Hazel can be mixed with distilled liquid or it can be added as an ointment or as a cream. The Witch Hazel Compress can also be used to relieve swelling, itching and pain.
Bioflavonoids are also effective means of treating hemorrhoids. This type of plant compound is essentially effective in reducing the pressure in the blood vessels. It actually strengthens the blood vessels in order to reduce the chances of inflammation. Bioflavonoids can be used in reducing anal discharge, discomfort, and pain. They can also be used in treating pregnancy based hemorrhoids. Women who will use this compound need to take it at least once a day. Once applied, they will have a reduction of bleeding and heaviness. This compound can be found in diosmin, oxerutins, and several citrus fruits. Such are the different types of natural hemorrhoid cure and treatments which are applied today.

Whether you are living in a large city or a small community in the suburbs, there is one constant that you most likely ignore, the many franchised restaurants offering foods of varying tastes to hungry patrons. The reason you might not notice them is because they blend in with the landscape of traditional food items. Where as these places were once special, they are now ubiquitous in nature, and that's not a bad thing, it's just a reality that many are finding out to be quite true. With that in mind, it should be an easy reasoning to potentially want to invest in a pizza business franchise, one that has an established name that you can join the other fast food options in your community, and profit from. This type of business in not for everyone, which is why many opt to go the alternative route, start from scratch with zero and build from the ground up. That is the hard route, and 95% of those that go that way, end up failing within a year or two, closing their doors before they are successful. Instead of going that route, consider a franchise, and see the profit jump from day one.
This option might not be for you, which is why it's important to look into the benefits of opening up this type of business and weighing in on whether or not it sounds like an opportunity that is worth exploring for your investment dollar.
First and foremost, if you're interested in starting a business, then you are definitely a good candidate for this option. However, if you're not keen on starting an all new location that has to deal with a variety of issues from day one, than you might want to go with an established name. Many businesses have to create a name for themselves within the community, and that could mean lackluster results for a long time. If you are not already a household name, you could end up competing with larger companies that have name recognition and a marketing budget that will put you in a financial bind fast.
Instead of competing with the larger chains, why not becomes part of community through a pizza business franchise? With this option you will have that established name, a nationally marketed brand and a customer base already built in. That means you will not have to pay for a lot of marketing, you will already have customers that are excited about eating at your restaurant, and a built in business model that will nearly guarantee your financial success from day one.
This type of business opportunity does not come without any risks or involvement from the owners. You will have to put in an investment, and you will need to work with their corporate offices on approval of your location, as well as fill out applications and forms to even be considered. If you are approved, you can move forward with establishing a new entity in your community that will delight many that are already fans of the pizza place and make money. Now that's something worth looking into, especially if you're business minded and love pizza.

Whether you are a small business owner or a big corporation proprietor, you aim for one ultimate thing and that is the success of your venture. However, such may not be so easy to achieve as there is a stiff competition and such is also very apparent in the World Wide Web. This is why you should not just spend your energy in building a professional looking site; you have to exert a lot of time and effort in developing great quality and targeted content as well as promote it. This is where SEO MD can prove to be a lot of help.
While you can get a lot of help from tutorials and various online resources to teach you the fundamentals of search engine optimization, it cannot be denied that this process can be quite demanding. There is also the fact that results do not come by so easily. With this said, below are the top reasons why you should hire the services of professional SEO in Maryland instead.
To Save You Time
As a business owner in Maryland, you may need to attend to the different aspects of your business. Needless to say, you may already have a lot on your plate that twenty four hours may simply not suffice to get them all done. It would not help to take over another responsibility that you wouldn't really manage to do. So why would you spend countless hours trying to do something that is out of your forte?
While it may be good that you know some things about SEO and it is a matter of fact encouraged, it is not advisable that you do it yourself. For one, SEO is a demanding process that requires undivided attention. You cannot get results if your efforts are half baked. If that is the case then you are not really maximizing your online investment. Instead, you are putting it to waste.
To get real results
Even SEO MD professionals would need time to be able to acquire results. They take years and years of study and practice to come up with effective strategies that prove to yield results. You cannot expect to learn these things and all the complications overnight. In the same way, it will be insane to dream of gaining the same level of results that the pros can.
Your business needs results as soon as possible. You can't expect to compete effectively or get ahead of the competition if you are moving on a turtle's pace. SEO requires proven and tested approach. It is not the proper time to perform a trial and error method. When you are in business, you simply cannot afford to think that way.
Fortunately, for all the SEO needs of you business in Maryland, you can count on SEO MD for help. This company has proven itself in the industry. Their strong lineup of clients can prove that their approach to SEO yield quality results. That's exactly what you business calls for to stay in competition.

There is no question about the fact that hiring a professional in MD SEO will do you good business. But with the countless choices you have, how do you exactly go about picking out the best? This can be quite challenging specifically if you do not know much about the business. This is why you may need to take some time to research about the matter in an effort to become a better judge of SEO companies or at least for the one you hire. With this said, here are the top four things you should look for in a reliable SEO provider.
Credibility
It is your business at stake here and for that credibility should be your number one priority. You need a provider with whom you can trust your business with. It is not just about avoiding getting ripped off. It is about dealing with an equally reputable business to advance your own.
In the end, it is your business reputation at stake. And that should be the last thing you want. In which case, you need to make the extra effort to make certain that the SEO provider you are dealing with is indeed reputable.
Effective Approach
It is easy for SEO providers to claim that they have effective approach and strategies that can bring your website at the top of the ranks and search engines and drive impressive traffic. However, only a few can really live up to their promises. If you have not dealt with that company yet, the best way to tell whether they do have an effective approach to SEO or not is to take a look at their portfolio and review their references well.
You can even check out their own website and check on their ranking. If the company is true to its word then they should at least have a decent ranking in search engines. Remember that if they cannot do it for themselves, they are less likely to achieve it for your business.
Support
You need a dependable MD SEO provider. If you need additional support, they have to make themselves available. What you need to look for is a provider that is committed to your business' best interest. Choose one that is treats you as a partner. That is they would care for the success of your business as much as you do because your success is also theirs.
Affordability
There are plenty of SEO companies that may be really reliable and supportive. The problem is they charge heavy fees. And this may not be practical if you are but a small business owner restricted by a small budget. You do not have to break the bank or do SEO on your own. You can instead, be smart about your choice and hire an SEO company the can offer quality results that come at a reasonable price.
So keep these things in mind in evaluating which MD SEO company is right for your needs. This way, you get to ensure you are making a good decision in choosing who to partner with.

When it comes to starting any business there are certain parameters that need exploration. This is especially true if you're looking at jumping into an investment such as a franchise. If you're looking to become a partner in a large company by having your own business that has a corporate identity established in the mind's of the general public, than you'll need to definitely look at similar parameters akin to those that are starting their own business from scratch. Finding opportunities that will help you move forward with can be hard, especially if you're looking for particular pizza franchise opportunities to start earning serious money.
The first thing that should be on your mind before you can even search for any given opportunity is whether or not you can afford this type of business venture. It doesn't matter if you're starting a new company or you're taking an existing business model and starting in your community, you will need to have financial backing. Whether you fund the starting point with your savings, or you look to find a loan to start with, you will need to invest a good amount of money from day one. Without this, you will not be ready to select from the existing opportunities.
If you have financial backing, and you're ready to explore the many options out there, you will need to pick a starting point. There are currently thousands of pizza franchises that you can start up with in your community, and picking the right one is a matter of doing a little research. Once you have a list of companies that you want to work with, call their franchise opportunity hot line and request information. Most corporately held companies will send you an information packet that you can read through with full outlines and financial requirements.
Once you get your information, take some time to understand it all and do not be in a great haste to get moving. This is going to take time, so make sure you understand all the parameters and once you feel that you're comfortable with the decision to select one or a couple of companies to work with, call a representative to get the application rolling to become a franchised business.
Before you can turn on the lights and start selling pizza, you will need to understand that this all takes time. Even if you have the money to invest in the opening, you will need to wait until the approval of your application goes through, then you will need to meet the requirements of the corporate offices at every turn, with full inspection, before you can start. Once all the qualifications are met, your money is invested, and you get the approval, you will be able to start selling pizza within your own franchise and make a lot of easy money. However, this all doesn't happen over night, it takes a great deal of time between the early stages of consideration and the finalization of permits, hiring people to help you out, and finally getting orders delivered, so make sure that you keep that in mind.

When it comes to heavy machinery, many people don't realize that they might need it for their construction projects. You could own one and use it for a variety of hauling, lifting, crushing, and so much more. The downside to this type of machinery is that it can cost thousands of dollars to get a proper working one. If you don't have a great deal of money to invest in purchasing this type of equipment, your next best bet is to look into getting professional Bobcat services.
Bobcats are used for a variety of purposes, and if you're not familiar with them you'll want to look into the many different places you might need them.
Cleaning – One of the hardest things to get done right in construction is when it's all said and done, moving the trash, debris, and materials that are no longer needed. A large scale job will require the services of a professional contractor that is known for helping with the clean up. You'll find that the debris, pieces of metal, stucco, and other large scale debris could be hard to clean with just a pair of gloves on. With a machine at the helm, you could haul just about anything without adding more manpower.
Hauling – Heavy lifting is tough when you're dealing with a lot of concrete and more. You'll find that with Bobcat services you can pick up nearly a ton for quite a long distance, and that can help works get their materials a lot faster than the traditional options that are out there.
Demolition – When it comes to tearing down a home, commercial real estate or other options, you'll find that you'll get a lot of help by looking into Bobcat services Tampa, and get someone local to come out and help with not only lifting large objects, but also tearing down a great deal of stucco, wood, metals, and more that need replacement.
The above 3 jobs are just a few options that you will see become easier to mange when there are heavy machines involved, especially those bobcats out there. You'll find that they can do a great deal of good for not only the above, but also for concrete removal and hauling as well. Don't let the job get done without considering getting equipment that will help.
Sure you could end up having to deal with issues on your own, but if something goes awry and you can breakdown certain elements, walls, concrete or other substances, you'll definitely need to get a Bobcat to come in and within minutes solve the issue. You'll be surprised how affordable this could be for those that are looking to rent not buy them. Even if you're a big time expert, there's nothing wrong with calling in a professional that will give you the best work at a price you can afford. When online search for Bobcat services Tampa, FL and you will most likely find the right option that will fit your goals for tearing down a home, upgrading, renovating and much more.

Before you call a heating and cooling technician to take a look at your unit, there are a few simple repairs you can try yourself. This is especially handy if your a/c conks out on a Sunday morning. These simple repairs are also a good part of your annual maintenance plan. With regular cleaning, dust, dirt, and debris can clog your cooling fins, your coolant level can become low, and your blower may get dusty and dirty. While you can handle most of these maintenance and repair tasks in about an hour, only a professional Phenix City, AL heating and cooling professional can check your coolant levels.
The first piece of your cooling unit you want to check is the condenser. Begin by turning off the power, either on the unit itself or the main power switch for your home. Locate the condenser fins, which are small metal blades located around the unit. These fins accumulate dust, dirt, leaves, grass and pollen, which blocks the air flow into your home. If the airflow is blocked, your unit has to work harder to cool the home, using more power, which costs you more money. Vacuum the fins with your household vacuum cleaner. You may want to use an attachment to reach some of the fins. You can then remove any remain debris with a soft brush. If you have are bent, you can gently straighten them back into shape with a butter knife.
Once the outside of you condenser is clean, unscrew the fan to gain access to the inside of the unit. Vacuum the inside of the unit, if you can reach. You may find that mice and other small animals like to winter in there, so be prepared for any animal debris. Use a hose to rinse of the fins and then check the motor to make sure it is properly lubricated. Add five drops of electric motor oil and then replace the fan.
Head inside your home and replace your dirty air filter and remove any particles and debris in the grill of this unit. You can use a vacuum or a soft cloth or brush to scrap away caked on dirt and dust. Now you are ready to see if your maintenance and repairs worked.
Turn the power back on, and set the thermostat to cool, and select a lower than normal temperature. After about fifteen minutes, check the insulated tube- it should be cool. If it's cool, you've fixed your problem and increased the energy efficiency of your unit. If you need a professional to take a look, there a number of HVAC specialists in and around Phenix AL. You will pay for both parts and labor if you need some professional help.
If you prefer to have a professional come out and complete a full diagnostic of your heating and air unit, be sure to make you appointment right around spring break or the beginning of the summer. Heating and air units in Phenix City, AL get a lot of use once the first heat wave heats, so make sure yours is running well before the temperature starts to rise.

When it comes to collecting items, millions have spent a lot of time and effort putting together collections. Whether it's comics, toys, or something along those lines, but most find that despite their main efforts, the value of their items is not what they expected. The main reason being is that those things don't appreciate in value on a big scale. When you deal with collectibles, you not only want a rare item, you need a built in following of people that are interested in any given item. That's why when it comes to collecting it's best to look into sports memorabilia.
Sports items are quite valuable and they have a built in audience of millions of fans that have disposable income, ready to buy. Whenever every season of a professional sport rises, new names are presented to the general public and many of them become legends. It's these legendary players that become the crux of the sporting world's media influence and therefore create a market for themselves to sell merchandise. When that merchandise sells, the team makes serious money, but moreover, the individual fan becomes acquainted with the greatness of the game.
For collectors, the game becomes an immortal tribute for their favorite team, player, and brand name. However, the savvy collector knows that long after the legend stops playing, their merchandise, no matter how small, becomes of value and when times are hard and money is needed, it can be sold for serious money to dealers, or other fans of any given professional game.
You might scoff at the notion at first thought, but seriously consider your options. Let's say you're a fan of basketball, and that sporting tradition has been passed down to you from your family through the generations. You discover that your grandfather collected basketball cards and he has tons of them from decades gone. You then realize he has cards that date back to a different time in professional basketball, so you decide to see if you can sell them. You then find out that they are worth millions, and you never have to worry about money ever again.
Ok, that story is unlikely for some, but it happens more often than you think. Let's say you're not looking at collecting for profit, but you are looking to find a particular something for your room, house, or car. No matter what team you love, present or past, there are pieces of history that are available to you at a price. Whether it's an autographed baseball, basketball, or something else, like a jersey, hat, or shirt, you'll find it through sports memorabilia. Even if you're a fan of some obscure player, you will find that they have signed things for auction, sale, and collectors, giving back to the fans that support them over the years. If you're one of the millions of fans out there that are into sports, you have to check out the available options, because you will be flabbergasted by what you'll find. No matter what sport, you can own a piece of the action, at a small price.

Many happy couples came from an online dating game. They tried out this internet endeavor, had fun, got to know the person at the other end, fell in love, and ended up with one another. There are many websites featuring such games and because of the high success rate, even social networking sites, such as Facebook, have their own version.
Internet dating games are both for singles and couples. Couples have fun when they participate in such an activity. In reality, these stimulation games are not only to find the perfect mate but it is also a way to know how the process of love and dating works. It is also one way of finding out how one partner reacts to a certain situation. Players would be given a chance to play a role or create a character of their own. These characters would then select the activities they wish to participate in such as shopping, interacting and exercising virtually. The players also have the opportunity to send an email or instant message to each other. The enjoyable thing about it all is the opportunity to become another person.
There are many benefits in participating in an online dating game. Participants would know the rituals in dating in a risk-free method. It provides the venue for couples to meet before deciding to spend more time and effort to know each other personally. Those who are scared of meeting the singles in person will find virtual dating less overwhelming.
These games also give the opportunity for a person who have the same interests and likes to meet. There is less pressure in the environment they are in, thus they would be spared of potential embarrassment that a personal meet-up would bring.
Another benefit of such games is that there are thousands of players to meet. There is therefore a huge chance to come across a potential partner given the different personalities of participants. People from geographically unreachable areas are there thus people can opt to meet someone from a certain location. Many people find it more interesting or safe to date someone from another country so that they would be able to know more about their date online before finally meeting them personally.
Another good thing about these internet dating games is that people only need an internet connection and a computer or a smart phone. This is a lot inexpensive than spending for fare, clothes and going to a restaurant just to get to know another person.
Participating in dating games online does not present issues on ethnicity, class or race as everyone is on equal footing in cyberspace. All who participate have the same thing in mind and that is to find a date and have fun. Rejection is also not as embarrassing online as when it is being done personally, through email or via telephone. If someone is rejected through internet meet-ups, it would not be painful knowing that there are still other fishes on the internet.
People who wish to look for the perfect mate and have fun doing it should participate in an online dating game.
