Satellite radio is one of the biggest improvements in broadcasting since the introduction of FM. Satellite radio signal can be broadcasted for more than 35,000 kilometers (22,000 miles) with complete clarity and high quality sound. You will never get static interferences while listening to over 100 radio channels. The idea behind satellite radio has appeared in 1992, when the United States Federal Communications Commission granted a spectrum of the S band (the 2.3 GHz frequency) for Digital Audio Radio Service. The license to broadcast in that band was allocated to Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio in 1997. Now there are three companies that provide satellite radio in the world: Sirius and XM in Northern America and WorldSpace in Asia, Europe and Africa.
Each of these companies offer different broadcasting systems, since the radio signal of each is proprietary. This means that you will have to buy different hardware depending on your subscription to one of these companies. However, there are three components common to all satellite radio services: the satellites, the ground repeaters and the radio receivers. Different satellite radio companies broadcast the radio signal in different ways. For instance, XM satellite radio uses geostationary satellites which have orbits that are synchronized with the movement of Earth. These satellites are located above the equator. In order to allow subscribers to receive crystal-clear signal despite obstacles such as buildings, hills or bridges, XM satellite radio service has installed a network of repeaters antennas that receive the radio signal from the satellites and retransmit it to the subscriber's receiver Sirius, on the other hand, uses satellites that have unique elliptical orbits around Earth. These kinds of orbits allow satellites to get higher in the sky than geostationary satellites and this prevents loss of signal. This is the reason why Sirius has fewer terrestrial repeaters than XM.
Satellite radio services have digital broadcast centers where a huge amount of music in digital format as well as CD format is stored. Radio programmers have the task of selecting which song has to be played at which time. There are also a lot of studios managed by digital radio companies where artists perform live. All songs and material are transmitted to the satellites in digital format so that the signal contains very high quality sound. XM Radio provides over 150 programs that include music, sports and entertainment, traffic and weather channels.
The music area has the largest number of channels. Here are 68 music channels that you can enjoy and where you can listen to your favorite music whether is from the 60s, the 90s or it's the new released music. The changes that took place in the way MLB games were broadcast on television made many think that the same will happen to radio soon enough. Today, local television stations only broadcast 23% of the MLB games. Also, 7 of the major league team games are only available on cable, an exclusivity factor that seems to work well for them. In an interview to WSJ, Edison Media Research's President Larry Rosin declared that "it is probably inevitable that baseball radio broadcasts will go to a 100% subscription model... It will happen because there's too much money in it not to do it." This is an interesting perspective for the two main digital satellite radio providers, XM Satellite Radio and Sirius. This potential development sounds excellent for XM especially, as they would hold the exclusive rights to all major-league baseball games. Of course, that would be an important step forward for XM, as the MLB generates huge interest in the US, and it would mean that another building block has been added to the development of satellite radio.
MLB Radio and XM Radio
MLB also has its own subscription paid online radio channel, and if the same thing happens to radio as it did to television they would definitely enjoy the situation. Since experts in the communication field consider that satellite radio is still in its infancy, the trend of moving broadcasts of such games to a subscription paid environment would take digital radio broadcasting to the next level of development. The earnings from XM Radio and MLB Radio are split between the 30 MLB teams, but they are divided equally from http://www.review9.info . This means that the MLB team's interests would be high and the economical and financial factors could speed up the process of making MLB games exclusive to satellite radio. Although radio was the initial growing medium for baseball, television is king today, and they say that the transfer from terrestrial radio to satellite radio is not something that will have a significant impact. Other opinions say that "MLB would loose more audience then it would gain from the exclusive fees". Since the format of the terrestrial radio stations is more flexible it also allows them to broadcast more games than broadcast TV. The same people say that "the MLB would alienate a lot of local fans if they took baseball off AM radio". For other people, there is another comparison to be made – that between the impact this would have on MLB and the impact it had on NFL, where a similar process has already started. The Sirius NFL broadcasts brought the company some new listeners, but the changes were not extreme and since NFL is more popular than MLB, some expect the same trend to be followed in MLBs case as well. Of course, there are voices that say this change would have a significant impact on the way baseball is perceived. Since watching a game on TV can take away a few hours, many prefer to listen to the game on radio while they are doing something else. This is especially true during summer months, when many prefer to spend time in the yard or on the porch, not inside the room in front of a TV set. Of course, comparisons between the various major sport types in the US can be made from many perspectives, but most will agree that baseball is a game that can be followed on radio. For now, al the signs point at a transfer of broadcasts from terrestrial radio towards satellite radio, but this may change depending on the response companies and MLB receive from the public.

The satellite radio world is divided among the two major broadcasters, XM Radio and Sirius. Since they work on different frequencies and need specific equipment to broadcast, Sirius and XM Radio have divided the market into two groups. While some are fans of the Sirius channels others prefer XM Radio, and the debate regarding which of the two is the best could go on forever. Some however are subscribers to both services, since they love some of the Sirius programs but also enjoy XM Radio broadcasting. Interoperable satellite radios are one of the things most of the major players in the satellite radio industry are talking about. What are they? Basically they are receivers that can work both with Sirius and XM Radio and everything is enclosed in a single unit.
Interoperable Technologies – when Sirius and XM work together
Interoperable Technologies is the name of a joint effort funded by both Sirius and XM Radio, with the declared purpose of bringing dual-subscription satellite radios to the general market. Founded in 2003, Interoperable Technologies has started developing the dual-mode satellite radios ever since and progress is being made with each passing month. Interoperable Technologies gets help from consultants from both XM and Sirius and their 2005 success of developing a singe unit that can receive both transmissions was a notable one. Today, Interoperable Technologies ha a deadline of bringing the developed receiver unit to the market. The monthly subscription price is estimated to be around $26 – for which you get over 300 channels from the combined broadcasting list of the two satellite radio operators.
What the people say…
The news of the interoperable satellite radio development has triggered interesting responses among XM and Sirius satellite radio subscribers. Here are some of the things people left on forums and discussion boards regarding this development:
"$26/month? A hell of a lot cheaper than cable TV." Says one of the forum posters. He is right, but, of course, many will question the need to pay $26 for over 300 radio channels out of which 80% will probably never get listened to.
"Oh man! As a dual subscriber, this would be SO cool to have. Where do I sign up?" – on the other hand, of course, there are those people that don't mind spending a little extra when they can get so much more.
"Cool idea if it ever comes to pass. Even though I only subscribe to Sirius, I would consider buying this with an eye on the future..." – for people such as this forum poster, the interoperable satellite radio system is the natural evolutionary step forward, so it is definitely worth looking into satellite http://www.review4.info.
Implications of the interoperable satellite radio system
As you can see from the response of the potential customers, the interoperable satellite radio system is an interesting development. While Sirius and XM are lucky enough to be the only major players in this field, for now, it seems they are also ready to work together in order to consolidate their future. Of course, offering twice the programs on a single unit is a major step forward, and from the early stages it seems that the target audience is ready to receive the single receiver unit with applause. Many people think solar power is a new technology, but the history of solar power goes all the way back to the times of Ancient Greeks and Romans. Even in these ancient times, people understood the power of the sun and used it to help them in their daily lives.
Homes were built facing the sun at just the right angle to reduce the amount of wood needed to heat the home. Wood was a rare commodity at times so the heat from the sun was harnessed to make up for the lack of wood.
While ancient history is full of solar uses, it was not until the 1900s that scientists truly started embarking on the research that leads to today's solar power generation.
Auguste Mouchout understood the need for alternative energy during the Industrial Revolution. When people were using fossil fuels to heat their homes and create electricity, he understood the long-term effect of this overuse. When no one listened, he chose to investigate further and was successful in creating the first known solar motor. By 1861, he had also invented a steam engine that ran completely on the sun's power, but the cost of the machine led to its failure.
Throughout the latter years of the 1800s, European scientists continued to work with solar energy and reflect on its potential real life uses if the power collection were to be perfected.
The first huge step in the history of solar power that moved us towards the solar revolution occurred in 1921. Albert Einstein was awarded the Nobel Prize that year for his research in what would later be called photovoltaic cells. His physics research on the photoelectric effect was the cornerstone to the creation of the same solar cells used today.
By 1953, Bell Laboratories designed the first solar cell. The cell, created by three scientists, created electrical current that was measurable - a huge feat at the time. The solar cells cost about $300 a watt to generate electricity from the sun (today that amount is about $5 a watt due to technological advances).
During the 1950s and 1960s, NASA was in the middle of the race to space which furthered solar energy research even more. Satellites and spacecraft used the power of the sun to create electricity, but the technology remained too expensive for anyone but the government to use. The tables were turned, however, when the primary source of energy, oil, was pulled out from under the United States as an affordable fuel source.
In 1973, an oil embargo caused the price of oil to double in 24 hours. In a panic, government officials quickly looked for an alternative energy source and the development of Bell Laboratories in 1953 came to mind. The government invested large amounts of money into the design and the power of the sun was soon realized.
The Future History of Solar Power
The future is brighter than ever before for solar energy. The price of solar cells is dropping and smaller units are now quite affordable for anyone and everyone to buy. Keychain units can be purchased for less than $20 USD and have the ability to charge a cell phone in less than 24 hours. While this may seem like a long time, the solar cells are often about one inch by one inch in size.
Solar powered cars, solar energy collecting windows, and building materials are not far from mainstream development. The sun is a renewable source of energy that can provide more power than any fossil fuel on the planet.

A new time is upon us as the many challenges of today's world escalate and cry out for healing. What is needed now is concerted action on the part of each individual, to join together with others to create positive change in the world. This is not always as easy as it sounds, for the problems we face individually and collectively are multi-layered, and the process of attempting to create positive change activates many forces that oppose change.
Another challenge faced by anyone who wished to help create positive change in the world, is that of developing discernment and the ability to see underneath the surface of things to understand what is really going on. This ability to discern truth will become even more important in the years ahead. We are already seeing an upsurge of these kinds of issues in the current United States election process.
In this crucial election, voters are becoming more conscious of when a candidate appears false, or has hidden agendas, and they also are developing the awareness of when a candidate is being truthful and acting with integrity. Voters are also digging deeper than the traditional media sources of information to address larger issues related to the true reliability of the voting machines, and many citizens are stepping forward to help bring to light what has been previously hidden.
In today's world, there is much at stake and all of us have a part to play in helping to create the kind of world that we wish to leave to our children and grandchildren. How then do we navigate the enormous complexities of today's world, and make the kinds of decisions and choices that will have a positive outcome?
There following are some ways that you can begin to hone your innate sense of truth, and to develop discernment in relation to the information you receive.
1. Truth has a vibration, a quality of energy that can be felt. We are born with the ability to sense this, and many of us had to "learn" to ignore our truth sense in order to survive in the world. Truth can be felt in the body, the mind and the heart. You can begin to develop discernment by having the intention to do so. Your intention will activate a learning process that will create a healing process that restores your natural inner sense of truth.
2. Remember that all information has a bias. In today's world, the mainstream media sources of information all have vested financial interests and biases that they transmit through their broadcasts. You need to develop the ability to question what you are hearing or seeing, to do your own research, and then asking your "inner truth meter" whether the information feels credible to you.
3. When you need to make important decisions about people, you need to have your own experience of that individual. It is not enough to listen to experts commenting on that person, you need to see and hear them yourself, or read what they have written in their own words. Pay attention not just to the words, but to what is said underneath the words, through the body language and energy of the person.
4. Learn to pay attention to your body's subtle physical and emotional signals, which often have information that your conscious mind may have learned to ignore. This is useful in all situations, and especially in relation to listening to other people speak. Your innate inner truth sense is always operating, even when you may have learned to not listen to it. For example, you notice that whenever you hear a particular person speak, you find yourself feeling tense and getting a little spaced out, and you "tune out" their words. Another person that you see appears seems likeable enough, but your "gut feelings" put up a red flag, and just don't trust them. Another person speaks and you find yourself feeling empowered and uplifted, and want to hear more of what they say. These body signals can provide important information to you that is beyond what your conscious mind is aware of.
5. Become aware of your own emotional baggage that you carry, that may influence your choices. For example, if you grew up with an abusive father and developed a problem with authority figures, become aware of the emotional dynamics that are operating in your life as a result of this. How does your past affect the choices you make in your life today? How do these influence your perceptions of people? Do these choices empower you today? You have the ability to see clearly, beyond your personal emotional pain of the past.
As each of us creates the intention to see clearly and to make choices based on our own inner sense of truth, we can expand the network of love, light and truth in the world and help to create a more positive future for all of humanity.

All human beings are created with the natural need to give and receive love. We are created in love forms the foundation of our divine spiritual selves, and of our physically manifested life. Even the many limitations that we encounter in our early lives do not remove love from our spiritual center, because it is the essence of who we are.
Though we are created as love, as we journey through our lives it is possible to forget love, which takes a back seat to the many other demands of life. It is also possible to sustain wounds as we travel through life that damage our ability to connect with ourselves and to feel the inner experience of love that would otherwise sustain us.
In humanity's long journey through physical embodiment, we have learned to develop our sense of individuality and separateness. This has brought much learning and growth, but has also created a greater experience of disconnection from our divine spiritual nature. When we are disconnected from our inner connection with spirit, many painful afflictions can arise.
In today's world, there has been such an extreme level of disconnection from spirit, that humanity has forgotten the sacred nature of life and relationship. This forgetting has led to abuse, violence and all manner of painful negative experiences. Many souls today carry scars from encountering this kind of extreme separated consciousness, and these wounds can create habitual negative energy patterns that form in the physical and emotional bodies.
One extremely common form of misdirected negative energy is to turn anger in on oneself. The mind and emotions attack the self, causing great physical and emotional distress. This results in a more limited capacity to share deeply with others, because so much energy is being recycled back and forth within the self. Sadly, many human beings suffer from self anger, self blame and self hatred. These form a projection of sorts, where the negative energy that was received at some point in the past, becomes attached to the self and directed towards the self.
This affliction can greatly interfere with one's relationships, because it becomes difficult to be fully present in the moment in a space of love to share with others. Self hatred can also distort perception, so that is becomes difficult to know with real clarity what is happening within relationships.
The antidote to this cycle of difficulty is the development of self love. Self love is not a technique, but rather the restoration of our innate spiritual center, which is love. From this place, love from the divine flows freely into the body, mind, emotional bodies, and spirit. Love is expressed outwardly towards others and oneself as a natural flow.
How can we restore self love, if we have been out of balance for a very long time? This journey begins with the simple prayer and intention.
"Restore me, dearest God, to my divine inner purity and grace. Release my burdens, free me from suffering, and anoint me with your holy divine love."
This prayer, repeated with heartfelt sincerity, will open a pathway of return home to your divine inner being. The spiritual journey releases the hold that negative energies, memories and actions have had upon us, and restores our inner harmony with God's love. Love will flow freely within you, and therefore around you, as it naturally expresses and flows outward to other.
Dearest ones, this simple step can transform so many difficult relationships. When you cease to give energy and attention to self blame and self hatred, and begin receiving divine love, your whole energy field changes and no longer resonates in whatever difficulties you may have had with another person. When you no longer are participating in the negative energy pattern, then it cannot sustain itself and it begins to dissolve. This can be done without even speaking to another person. The energy shift you make has an impact on all of your relationships, and can create miracles of all kinds.
When you make the decision to choose self love, rather than self hatred, you will notice many negative thought patterns and emotions rise up. This is a natural pat of the process, for when a soul chooses light; the energies of darkness rise up in response and attempt to disrupt that choice. When this happens, remain peaceful; continue to choose love, and to simply observe the negative thoughts, energies and emotions. These will pass on their own, and as you journey you will see a new life emerge before you, a life blessed with love.

All relationships are spiritual relationships, and yet up until this point in time, humanity has not been consciously aware of the vast mystery, power and blessing that underlies human relationships. From the most innocuous of relationships, such as those we might have with a neighbor or co-worker, to the most intimate relationships with a spouse, partner or family member, all relationships have a deeper meaning and purpose, and are infinitely vaster and more complex that we can currently imagine.
In times past, human beings have relied on verbal or written communication to connect with others. Most recently the development of new communication technologies has opened more possibilities for communication, not only with those we are physically near, but with anyone who has access to a telephone or internet connection. These advances in technology are paralleling the evolutionary development of humanity. As we become more aware of being connected with all of life, so we create new ways to be more connected.
In the present time, much more is now possible in the way of human communication, which is greatly expanding the range of possibility within human relationships. The network of human consciousness is expanding and receiving more in the way of spiritual light, which is awakening many dormant potentialities within our individual and collective consciousness.
You may have noticed yourself having more vivid dreams, sensing the emotions and thoughts of others, or becoming more sensitive in general to energies and to environments. Human consciousness is becoming more permeable, which is allowing for a much greater depth of communication between people.
Another change process that is happening, is that overall, we are becoming more aware of our inner life, our thoughts, feelings, dreams, desires, and motivations. The greater spiritual light that is expanding upon the Earth is shining brightly, illuminating our consciousness and bringing to the surface even those parts of ourselves which we may have hidden from. This process can greatly intensify our emotional life, and also opens new possibilities for us to release ourselves from old and habitual defense patterns that may have kept us safe in the past, but which are no longer necessary now.
As we begin to free ourselves from old defense patterns, self judgments and expectations, a new self emerges from the dust of our previous identity. We find ourselves more capable of being present in the moment to love, and less afraid or needed to defend ourselves. As more and more people enter into this space within themselves, a field of light begins to infuse the network of human consciousness. This light is already activated now, and moving within humanity's individual and collective awareness.
What this means is that a whole new level of relationship and intimacy is now possible between people. We are speaking not of physical intimacy, but a much greater closeness which has to do with the development of a spiritual level of relationship. This kind of relationship is one of the heart, and does not require physical proximity, family ties or even a lot of time spent together. A spiritual relationship embraces the totality of our being, and transcends roles, personal needs and history.
In order for the depth of spiritual relationship to flower between two or more souls, what is needed is a commitment within each individual to turn the focus of their need for love towards the divine. When we each turn towards the divine source of all love from the Creator, we release our friends, family and loved ones from the expectation that they must fulfill our personal needs for love. When this expectation is released, this also frees the individuals involved from a constant sense of disappointment or betrayal, since none of us can really fulfill the needs of another in the way that God can.
This does not mean that we do not have needs in our relationships. Children need their parents, partners and spouses rely on one another, and friends and colleagues have needs for friendship, socialization and connection. What is does mean is that we rely on God to nourish us from within, and from this place of inner wholeness, a new quality of communication and depth can emerge.
Imagine if you no longer held resentment, blame or judgment even towards those that hurt you? Imagine that you felt so full of God's love that even a stranger was beloved to you? This dearest ones is the future of human relationships, which already are spiritual relationships, and which will become more so in the future as humanity moves beyond the consciousness of separation to embrace the experience of unity.
You are already beloved in God's eyes, and one day you will know this love with every cell of your body and every fiber of your being. Dearest ones, your path is already unfolding towards this new time, when all are One and one is All. To gain the fulfillment that your heart desires, look within towards the source of all love. This divine breath within will lead you towards all that your heart longs for, which will manifest with unimaginable perfection, in the most unique and unexpected ways.

When we first begin to feel the stirrings of God's love in our hearts, we begin to awaken spiritually. Suddenly, instead of being just a mother or father, or a son or daughter, a student, a teacher, an artist, a professional or a sports enthusiast, we discover that we are so much more. We are souls, each of us a magnificent and multifaceted jewel of radiance, of complexity, of uniqueness and of love. We are created in God's image, with infinite possibility and infinite potential.
One of the first things we ask ourselves as we begin to awaken to our spiritual potential, is why am I here? What is God's purpose for me? This is a beautiful and wonderful question to ask, for it opens the pathway for us to return Home to the depth of our divine connection with spirit. The longing in our heart to know what God's purpose is for us, begins to activate a new direction in our lives.
Previously, we were seeking to fulfill our own needs, and those of our closest friends and family. We were looking for a way to express ourselves and live a good life. When spiritual longing grows stronger in our hearts, the earlier ways of fulfilling ourselves seem to lose interest, and are no longer satisfied. We begin to look for something more, something more real, true, something deeper and more meaningful.
Imagine that you have been living in a black and white world, but didn't know that anything more was possible. Then suddenly, you begin to see color! This is such a strikingly different experience, so much more alive and filled with light and life, that we don't want to return to the old black and white existence. So it is with spiritual life, that we move from the less real to the more real. We long for greater love and truth. We become more ourselves, and we also let go of old ways of expressing ourselves that no longer feel right to us.
So how do we discover what is God's purpose for us? For some, the answer to this question arrives like a lightning bolt of truth and clarity from the heavens. This kind of blessing, that of direct revelation, is sometimes needed in order to communicate to the soul something important that may be very different from what they would otherwise expect. This may also come in order to move a person forward quickly upon their spiritual path, in response to the divine timing for that soul.
For others, and for most of us, the answer to this question of God's purpose for us, is answered in more incremental ways. It is like walking a treasure map, receiving first one clue and then another, with the understanding building over time. Going through life in this way, asking and praying and waiting to receive the answer, builds faith, courage and strength and opens within us a passageway of divine light that communicates with the spiritual realms in a continual way. This process also purifies us and releases us from older ways of relating to life, so we can begin to see and feel and be in a whole new way.
There is no special technique or spiritual practice needed in order to discover what God's purpose is for our lives. The simple desire and longing to live a life that is One with God's love is enough to begin the process of spiritual discovery. If you feel a strong connection to a particular form of spiritual or religious practice, follow this path and immerse yourself in the longing and in the desire for discovery. Life will begin to reveal to you the answers to the questions you seek.
Open yourself to the longing in your heart, pray deeply to know God's purpose for your life, and you will begin to see and feel and experience new revelations in your own understanding of who you are. As you move into a more conscious alignment with God's purpose for your life, greater light will begin to fill your body, mind and consciousness. This light brings healing both to yourself, and to all others that you may encounter. It even blesses the very Earth that you stand upon, and gives a unique and special gift to God and to all of life.
The harmony of fulfilling your divine purpose brings peace joy, gratitude and blessing to all those that you touch. This is God's great gift to us and to all of life, that we may be blessed and bless others in return, spreading love and light to each other and to all of the world.

As the world becomes more connected through the technologies of communication, it is also becoming easier to become disconnected from our own selves. The necessary quiet time that develops our natural, inborn connection with intuition and spiritual guidance is no longer easily found in our daily lives, and this can cause feelings of overwhelm, meaninglessness, and an inner sense of disharmony and emptiness.
In today's world as we face unprecedented challenges both individually and collectively, there is also a very high level of daily stress that is constantly affecting our bodies, minds and emotions. Our daily lives are filled with intensity as we witness widespread social, political and climate change, uncertainty about the future, and fear of the unknown.
If these weren't enough, there is also the effect of greater spiritual light expanding on the Earth, which is helping us to awaken spiritually, but is also creating a major cleansing process for us on all levels ... spiritually, emotionally and physically. The pain of the past that we may have buried from our consciousness begins to surface into our awareness, bringing old feelings or physical symptoms to light.
We are all developing ways to cope with the increased levels of stress in our lives today. There are many spiritual tools and transformational supports that can assist you in reclaiming your inner connection with yourself. Once you create an intention to reconnect with your inner being, you will begin to draw to yourself the people, situations, and supports you need.
One of the most useful and simple ways to navigate through these very intense times is to develop a deeper connection with your natural intuitive spiritual guidance. Inner guidance is a gift from our soul to our embodied, human self which we all have access to. Some of us are more attuned to this part of ourselves, especially those who are artists, musicians, athletes, or whose work involves healing. Some of us may have learned to "turn off" this inner gift, because of childhood pressure to conform to social standards.
No matter how connected or disconnected you may feel from your inner spiritual guidance, everyone has the capacity to nurture, develop and strengthen this important part of ourselves. Living with an active and awake inner spiritual guidance offers us the opportunity to perceive and experience a whole new creative dimension of life. The universe of spiritual reality is vast and when intuition is activated, new experiences begin to open and create vaster and more meaningful possibilities.
In addition to expanding our daily experience of life, developing intuition and spiritual guidance serves to create a depth of connection to inner truth. If you've ever witnessed the simple and profound clarity of truth that comes from small children who have not yet learned to censor their inner guidance, you'll have some idea of what is possible for yourself.
In today's world where there are many sources of information that may or may not be accurate or truthful, your spiritual guidance and intuition can offer a clarity of direction in situations where it may not otherwise be possible to know what is real. As your intuition becomes more highly developed, you will be able to sense the presence of or the lack of love, light and warmth in people. You will be able to more easily discern what feels true or false to you, beyond the words that people say or the appearances that are presented.
In today's world there is much at stake, and many choices are presented to us each day about who to listen to, and where to place our attention, time, and trust. If we are disconnected from ourselves and the center of our own being, then it is easier for us to be swayed in directions that depart from love and truth that we may later regret. Developing our inner spiritual guidance offers the precious gift of discernment, allowing us to see clearly what is true and what is not, and to navigate more easily in the great complexities and challenges that we face in today's world.

Today's world is in turmoil and rapid transition, with larger scale changes on the horizon. In many of the spiritual teachings that have been coming to the Earth in the last 20 years, we are told that suffering is not necessary, or is the result of faulty belief systems, insufficient self love, or a hidden inner desire to suffer.
Though each of these statements contains a kernel of truth, the larger spiritual reality of human suffering is a much more complex situation, that has at it's root the fundamental choices made early in the evolution of humanity, to separate consciousness from the Oneness of the divine Creator.
At the highest levels of God's truth, all is one and there exists no separation. At the levels of human, embodied physical reality, life appears to be filled with the experience of aloneness, separation from God, from love and from truth. This current reality we experience however, is in the process of transformation as we speak.
A new and unprecedented increase in the presence of spiritual light on the Earth has been gradually, and with increasing speed, opening the spiritual awareness of humanity. At the same time, this same light is having a cleansing and purifying effect, causing us to look both within ourselves and around us, to see where we are living out of alignment with love, with truth, and with ourselves.
Dearest Ones, the very fact of existing within a physical body exposes you to the experience of suffering. The body is created with internal programming designed to keep itself alive through a series of biological needs that must be met, such a clean air to breathe, pure water to drink, and healthy food to eat. The body's signals create suffering each day, which motivates the human, embodied self to meet their needs.
Emotional and mental suffering are also a part of the human experience, because the spark of light that is the soul essence of a person, entered into human form for a specific reason. In order to find that which the soul desires to learn, an inner feeling or experience of discontent or suffering arises that motivates the person to seek that which its soul desires.
There is another aspect of suffering that is related to the process of cleansing and purification that is happening on the Earth right now. Imagine you burned your hand years ago, but at the time did not have access to medical care. Your body tried to heal the burn, but it still has a scar is inflamed and painful. Now, times have changed and you have access to medical care, so you go to the doctor and ask for help in healing this old would. The doctor has to lance the wound, open it and drain out the inflamed tissues, in order to relieve the pain. Once this is done, the wound can heal perfectly.
This process of purification that is happening on the Earth right now is opening the individual and collective wounds of humanity. It is a challenging process, because the pain of the past re-surfaces as it is being healed. You may feel for a time that there is more suffering rather than less, and wonder if it will ever end.
The good news is that in today's world, the presence of greater spiritual light is creating more opportunities for complete healing of relationships, old and previously stuck behavior patterns, physical conditions and emotional difficulties. If you are experiencing a healing process, it can help a great deal to hold an attitude of trust and acceptance in relation to the suffering that may emerge.
Rather than berating yourself for not being spiritually evolved enough to transcend the pain, or for other limitations you may perceive yourself to have, let go of your thoughts and judgments. Breathe into the suffering, rather than avoiding it. None of us likes to suffer, but if we can relax around the process, there is less pain because we are flowing rather than rigid.
Be humble and sincere in your prayers, and ask for healing. Accepting and breathing into suffering does not mean you don't try to find relief. We are human, and no one likes to be in pain, whether it is emotional, physical or energetic pain. Be practical and do what you need to do to help yourself, but hold everything you are experiencing in God's loving embrace. As you move forward and find a path of acceptance for the challenges as well as the joys of spiritual life, you will discover a new level of inner peace, and a strengthening of your faith and trust in God. Your suffering is known by God and it will end, for it is but a step in the process of wholeness in the journey to Oneness with God's love.

The human body is in essence a body of light, which was created first by God's divine intention which created the soul. The soul's divine intention to enter the world of physical form created the passageway through which God's light could manifest the miracle of conception and birth.
All of life is a miracle, and each precious soul you encounter is living proof of God's great love, which created the manifest and un-manifest universes. All possibilities and probabilities exist as One within God's divine mind. Within the infinite realm of possibility, God's light exists and actively participates within all of life.
God's light can be activated as a healing force within the human body, whenever you are sick or injured. God's light can bring healing, comfort, and can even completely transform even an apparently hopeless situation. Light can expand and open possibilities, and can support all other healing modalities you are using.
To activate the presence of God's light within your body, it is helpful to create a sacred space within your home that can be used for meditation, prayer and healing. Create an altar that expresses your innermost hearts connection with the divine. Keep it simple, clean and place it in an area that can be devoted to sacred activities.
Spend a few moments each day, or several times a day, quietly praying, meditating or sitting quietly at your altar. In time your altar will develop a vibration of light, and you will begin to feel this when you sit at the altar. The light will help you relax, and will aid you in your healing process.
When your body is fatigued, sick, or injured, you can rejuvenate and regenerate your body by sitting or lying in front of your altar and breathing in God's light. Place your hand over your heart and pray for healing, and then imagine God's light descending from the heavens and infusing your body through the top of your head. As you breathe, allow the light to circulate through your body.
You'll notice certain parts of your body that will feel more tense, or that will be holding pain. Imagine the light deeply infusing these areas, bringing warms, comfort, and peace. The cells of your body know how to heal themselves, and God's light will activate these inner resources of healing.
As you do this regularly, you will begin to notice changes in your body and your health. The infusion of God's light will begin a process of self healing within your body. Sometimes, if your body has been out of alignment for a very long time, the healing process takes longer because the body needs to re-balance itself on all levels.
your body is not separate from your mind or emotions. In fact it could be said that your mind is your whole body! As God's light begins this healing process in you, you will find old memories and emotions form the past re-surfacing. Allow these to pass through your consciousness. See them, feel them, and then let them go.
At some point you may find it helpful to join with others who are in a healing process. If you have many challenges happening at once in your body, it will be helpful to work with a practitioner of healing arts who can act as a facilitator, helping to strengthen the light and support your body through the healing process.+
In times past, healing was thought of as something separate from everyday life. Now, as spiritual consciousness on the Earth evolves and transforms, it becomes more clear to us that all of life is a healing process. When our bodies are in need of healing, God's light can provide stability, grounding in our primary reality as a soul, and a sense of peace, comfort and rejuvenation. God's light can support us and enhance all other healing modalities and treatments, and is available freely to all beings, because God loves us and is always present and available to support our lives.

For some on the spiritual path, an inner understanding of divine soul purpose emerges relatively early in the spiritual journey, guiding and supporting them in the directions needed for optimal growth and manifestation of their life's work.
For others, knowledge of divine soul purpose eludes the human embodied self for quite a long time, necessitating a period of "walking in the desert" with little outward or even inward support that can be perceived. This period of seeking is purposeful on the soul's part, but may cause deep suffering to the embodied human self that feels empty, meaningless, and worried that they may be going in the wrong direction.
The manifestation of your divine soul purpose is as unique and precious as you are. The best way to discover that which is the guiding essence of your life purpose is to look within at what desires, dreams, aspirations, hopes and longings you carry most closely in your heart.
God created you so carefully, and uniquely for the sacred purpose you embody. Think of the beauty of a newborn baby, the precious nature of their tiny fingers and toes, and the sweet wisdom in their eyes. We can see the divine blueprint of the soul clearly in the radiance of their simple and innocent being. In this same way, you are created uniquely for your spiritual purpose, with every finger and toe, every hair on your head known and accounted for by God's infinite wisdom and grace.
Small children naturally begin to embody their soul purpose, even at a very young age. They are attracted to certain people and situations, and they relate to their environment in their own unique fashion. They may love animals, or spend their time drawing and painting, or they will play with cars and trucks, heal the neighborhood cats, or lead groups of children on the playground. They may enjoy singing and dancing, or they may read voraciously, or tinker with their computer. All the natural tendencies within, if allowed to flourish and expand, will lead a child to manifesting their divine soul purpose.
And what of we adults, who may have grown up in less than optimal circumstances where our natural tendencies were not supported? Perhaps we have forgotten what we most loved to do as a child, or perhaps even thinking about this brings up the pain of what we endured as children. How can we discover our divine soul purpose?
It may comfort you to know that you have not lost anything, even if you no longer feel in touch with your inner desires. The deep inner longing of your heart is never extinguished, even in the most difficult of circumstances. This is a quality of the soul that is eternal, that will lead you to manifesting your soul's purpose.
If you are feeling uninspired, disconnected from your divine soul purpose, it is possible to re-connect, by praying for this and creating a sacred intention to re-connect with your inner being. The prayer and intention activates a path of healing that will lead you towards that which you desire. If you have been disconnected for a very long time, you may find yourself experiencing deep emotions of grief or pain, as the re-connection to yourself is restored. If you can breathe and be with these emotions, without repressing them, but simply holding them in god's light, this will create a healing and a freeing up on inner space.
The discovery of your divine soul purpose lies within your heart's desire. What do you most deeply long for? If you could do anything in the world what would that be? The path to manifesting your unique gifts in the world begins here, and then expands outward, as you begin to take actions based on your heart's calling. Your true life's work is this, to listen, follow, share your gifts, and manifest all that you are in the world of physical form. For this reason you came to the Earth at this time, to share all that you are with all of life.

They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but what about your boss? Can you alter and shape his or her behaviors? Not only is the answer yes, but it can be done quicker than you think.
Here's What You Can Do
If you want to alter your boss's behaviors, use these five proven steps to creating change.
Step One: Check yourself by asking, "Am I attempting to fix my boss – or build and develop her?" Most people use the "fix-it" approach when trying to change other people's behaviors. This communicates that a person has a flaw or failure, as if they're not complete. There aren't many people who respond well to such messages.
Are you truly interested in helping your boss succeed? (It's ironic: those people who answer 'no' ensure their own demise.) In your interactions do you communicate that you sincerely care about her?
When someone detects that we are an ally and not an enemy, when they detect that we think they've got strengths and we want to make them even stronger, they seek us out (rather than trying to get us out).
Step Two: Check the quality of your feedback. Most people focus on the behaviors they don't like in others. This only reinforces what we don't want!
Many people tell us that they can't compliment their bosses because people claim they are kissing something undesirable. This changes the moment two things happen: the acknowledgment moves to a one-on-one conversation and when it's sincere, specific and selective.
For example, the average person leaves a meeting complaining that their boss talks too much (see "backfire approaches" above). The person who can teach an old boss new tricks approaches their supervisor and sincerely states, "I want to thank you for that question you asked during our meeting. It got us all engaged around possible solutions."
Because your boss is human and goes toward his focus, the above acknowledgment sets a new course forward.
Step Three: Build a relationship with your boss. Does he have kids? Where does he like to travel? What are his interests outside of work? Teams are only as strong as the relationships amongst the team members – and your boss is a part of the team. Consider the possibility that your boss has his own limitations in developing strong relationships; take it upon yourself to help him by being proactive in building a stronger relationship.
Some criticize this as "schmoozing." But that's because there are many old dogs who were taught that you built relationships so you could get something. This is different: you're building relationships so you can give something.
Step Four: Separate the behaviors from the person – and approach your boss directly. People like straight talk – when it's delivered appropriately. Tell and ask her these or similar things:
• "Can I ask for your help with something? It's important to me that we have a strong team. Here's a behavior we can expand on…"
• "Here's where you've demonstrated this behavior… and here's the difference it makes…"
• "What can I do to help us develop this behavior even more?"
• "What role do you want to play?"
Using your own words to deliver the points above will assure sincerity – and a useful dialogue. And of course, the directness of your words will be largely influenced by your success in executing steps one through three.
Step Five: Focus! You've checked your desires: Are you trying to fix her or build her? You're acknowledging her when she is demonstrating strong leadership. And because you've developed a relationship of trust you can speak directly.
It's now time for continuous improvement. Somehow many people learned that if they're going to get other people to change, they're supposed to point out other people's spots, their flaws, and where they're weak. Imagine having a friend who always tells you how you've screwed up. He wouldn't be a friend for long. And while your boss doesn't have to be your friend, the same fundamentals apply; if you think and communicate that your boss is a screw-up, you're only going to screw-up one thing - results. Step five is this: consistently re-engage in steps one through four.
It took some time for your boss to learn the tricks and behaviors he has now. Give him time to learn some new behaviors – and consider that his success is determined by you.

Creating Change Is Easier Than Most Make It
Leadership is about creating change. In order to beat the competition, your results tomorrow have to be better than they are today.
But what if most people make creating change – leadership – harder than it has to be? Evidence abounds that people are sabotaging their own efforts at creating different results. Ernst and Young reported that 66% of corporate strategies are never executed. Have the standards for effective leadership fallen so far that a 34% success rate makes you a success?
You can change your results – starting now.
An Old Formula That Gets Old Results
What happens if what we've learned about leadership is wrong? As we outline in our new book, Stomp the Elephant in the Office (Wister and Willows, 2008), too many people use an out-dated approach to creating change – and it costs them, their colleagues and organizations dearly. The traditional approach to change consists of four steps:
• One: Identify the problem.
• Two: Have an expert determine a solution.
• Three: Tell people how to change.
• Four: Try to overcome the resistance created by the first three steps.
There are many variations to the old formula for change, but the results are predictable:
• Revenue is lost.
• People turn themselves off so future change efforts are pointless.
• Confidence in leadership drops.
• Work relationships and job satisfaction plummet.
• Little progress is made.
Why people use this costly approach is shocking. In an effort to change things (outcomes) ineffective bosses try to change people. This "fix-it" mentality reeks of the idea that those a boss is responsible for are somehow flawed.
But people are not flawed – it is the change process that is flawed. People do not resist change; they resist being changed.
It's Simple: What's Necessary For Change
Countless books have been written about change. But what if all you needed to know about successful change could be condensed into a formula that fits on the back of your business card?
While there are many subtle components, almost all the books on change essentially reveal three conditions that are invariably part of every effective change initiative. Together they constitute a tool that always allows and supports productive change – and it all fits on a business card.
The Three Conditions that Support Change are:
1. Participants in the change process feel good about themselves.
2. The process includes participants' ideas.
3. The process includes participants' motivations.
Bill Riddle is the regional manager for TP Mechanical, an employer of over 300 people based in Cincinnati, Ohio. "Backlog," or secured business in the pipeline, is the lifeline of the company. In May of 2007 that pipe was nearly empty. Lay-offs were often discussed. "We knew we had to change things," said Bill. "And to change results, it meant we had to change our leadership. We embedded the 3 Conditions that Support Change into everything we did."
Outstanding leadership has dual rewards: enhanced lives and greater profitability. For their use of this leadership tool, Bill's organization received both. "You could see the impact on our culture immediately. Even though times were tough, people responded to how we honored and included them. It was all the proof I needed that people want to be great."
It's probably no surprise that TP Mechanical's bottom line changed next. "In eight months we increased the volume in our pipeline by over five times. This provides us with the resources we need to expand and go after new markets," said Bill. And what is their greatest resource? "Our energized workforce that now takes ownership of their results."
Using The 3 Conditions That Support Change
Utilizing these critical conditions for change are easier than one might think. Here's what Bill and the team do:
To ensure that people feel good about themselves … they provide the proper feedback. When people are doing things well, Bill's team provides others with sincere, specific and selective remarks. Instead of "Thanks for the nice job," people hear "Your flawless work allowed us to hit our quality objective and deliver before the deadline." These comments are the elixir for creating a pro-active culture.
To ensure that the process includes participant's ideas … Bill's team asks questions. In most companies plans for execution are made in seclusion, sans the people who are doing the work. At TP Mechanical employees are asked, "What ideas do you have to achieve this in less time?" and "What benchmarks do you want to use to measure your progress?" With such questions the workforce sheds their robotic, minimalist approach, and the company gets thinkers who can adapt and drive projects themselves.
To ensure that the process includes participant's motivations … the TP Mechanical team taps into what's important to those they lead. In the average company, the ivory tower boss assumes the reason people want to do a good job is to make more money. This same person is then confused when he is hobbled by salary and monetary disputes. Conversely, the TP Mechanical leaders ask, "What drives you?" and "Why is delivering excellence important to you?" This takes people two steps beyond engagement, and one step beyond buy-in … to an ownership mentality that can't be beat.
Using the 3 Conditions that Support Change, Bill proves that the most critical change necessary is the change in how we lead. Instead of trying to change other people, Bill changed himself first, the process second, and the results followed.

One of the most common situations we come across at Business Boot Camp when working with business owners and managers who are striving to reach business profitability goals is that they spend the majority of their time working 'in' their business rather than 'on' it.
To understand this dynamic further, I would like you to think in metaphors for a moment - imagine that a business is a living and breathing organism that requires oxygen (cash-flow), fuel (energy), and exercise (stimulus) to THRIVE and GROW.
Now, human physiology tells us that improved fitness comes from exercise – the ability to use oxygen and fuel more efficiently. Hopefully, you can see where I'm headed… to improve the use of oxygen (cash-flow) and fuel (energy) we must continually test and refine the exercise regime (stimulus).
The role of Business Boot Camp is to provide clients with resources and programs (stimulus) which will exercise their businesses to create Breakthroughs – hence, our tag line – get your bottom line into shape.
Think of us as business drill sergeants!
Right, get down and give me five!!
Only kidding…
To begin, you need to establish some guidelines because the process of change is not always easy or comfortable…
The key starting ingredient is a mindset that is OPEN rather than closed.
If you approach this process with a positive and open frame of mind then your results will reflect this attitude. ATTITUDE IS KEY! Of course, this doesn't mean that you come into this process chanting mantras and affirmations, not at all. It just means that you need to let go of what has occurred in the past and tackle the process of change with a fresh outlook.
Hence, our first, easy question -
Are you willing to do whatever it takes to achieve maximum results in your business?
Yes?!
Well, the recipe for success is a simple one… and like any good recipe, it pays to follow the directions. You need to find ways to breakthrough from how you are currently operating. In other words, you must find ways to continually outperform you current results by increasing or modifying the Stimulus and then Testing the results.
Now, this is easier said than done…I know from personal experience.
By consistently Testing your results, you will be able to define what is working and what isn't – it is from this standpoint that you can make decisions which will maximize your results and therefore your PROFITS!
Although you may already test within your business. It is the consistency and quality of the testing that makes all the difference. For example, many of us go to the gym and have an initial health test, we then have a program designed which we apply sporadically and then wonder why we haven't achieved the results we desired in the twelve month review – this scenario is why personal training has boomed. And it proves that regular testing, refinement of an applied program and consistent action work when it comes to maximizing results – personal or business.
CONCLUSION: Breakthroughs are the key to reaching your business profitability goals. They are achieved by increasing or modifying stimulus and continually testing the results.
