    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Many articles discuss best practices for travel photography, and many of them, while providing worthwhile advice, tend not to take into account the fact that conditions are not always perfect for making photographs. The sky is not always blue, the crowds of tourists do not always clear a path for you to make your image, the light is not always perfect and you may not always have the latest gear. There are however some practices that you can put into place to help you create strong images when time is short and you can't always wait for conditions to improve.

    Do your homework

It is well worthwhile doing some research on your destination before you leave. This will give you an idea of what things are going to look like when you arrive. If you have an idea of what you want to photograph before getting to a location, you may also be able to research best vantage points and times to be there. This will help you plan your day and allow you to fit in more shooting than if you leave it all until you arrive and try to make it up on the spot. Although there is much to be said for simply, arriving and wandering a city to get your bearings and shooting what appeals to you, if you are short of time, you might find this a much more stressful and pressured experience and not enjoy the experience of photographing in a new place. And enjoyment is the whole purpose of photography in the first place.

Shooting in the middle of the day

So many photography instructors and books tell you to shoot in the "Golden Hours" the hour just after sunrise and just before sunset, because these times present the best light for photography. The soft golden light that is most flattering. And they are right. Using this type of light it is easier to create a standout image. There are however some practicality issues with this. If you are at a destination for only a short period of time, you can ill afford to lose any time shooting. Shooting for only 2 hours when you are at your location for only a day or two almost always results in regret for lost opportunities. That's an awful lot of time in between to waste, and there is really no reason not to keep on shooting throughout the day. It can also help to push you creatively as you will need to come up with ways to deal with harsh sunlight or flat skies. These conditions can help in adding mood to an image if you use them to your advantage. Such as a harsh noon sun that lets you feel the heat of the day in the image by producing intense colour. Or a soft overcast day that helps to keep the detail in objects or people's faces.

    Know your equipment

Know how to use your camera without the need to think about it. When you have to stop and think about how to adjust settings, you miss moments. There are so many considerations to make when making a photograph that it can be a bit overwhelming. What is my subject? How to I frame the image? What aperture works best? Do I zoom out or in? And once you've decided all this, you still need to adjust the camera settings to achieve the desired outcome. And all this in a split second. So if you can make these adjustments while making the decisions and not having to take the camera away from you eye, this might just be the difference between capturing the image you see in your mind, and missing the moment. But how to practice this. It seems simplistic, but getting out there and shooting as much as you can is the best way. Concentrate on where the various controls are and adjusting them without taking the camera away from your eye. Start with stationary subjects and move onto moving subjects. It will be difficult and a little frustrating at first, but worthwhile once you put it into practice and come away with the images that you envisioned.

We would all love to have weeks or even months to stay at a location and explore it fully and take our time to make great photographs, but for most of us it is just not practical. So to get the best out of our photography when we do travel somewhere new, we need to adapt and be flexible. Working out the best way to do this will make your next trip both more rewarding and more enjoyable.

Article Title: Choosing a Tripod For Landscape Photography

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

A good landscape photographer knows that the most important piece of equipment (other than the camera itself) is a good tripod. Just like different lenses are built for different purposes, so are tripods. A photographer who travels and uses a tripod only occasionally will have different requirements than a photographer who photographs constantly in low light and difficult conditions. Here we are going to focus on things to consider specific to landscape photography.

Firstly, ergonomics. Landscape photography is often about waiting for long periods of time before the right conditions or lighting appear, so it is important to find a tripod that is comfortable for you. Before you buy, extend the legs of the tripod fully (but not the centre column) to see how far you will need to bend to look through the viewfinder. If after a few minutes your back starts to ache, then the tripod is too short. Not needing to extend the centre column is important because doing this increases the chance of camera shake dramatically, so should be considered a last resort.

Secondly, check that the tripod is easy to operate. Extend and collapse it to ensure you can set up and take it down quickly and easily. This could be essential in the field. Pay particular attention to the head and locking mechanism on the legs. You should be able to manoeuvre the head easily and smoothly to get your camera into position without having to wrestle with it. There are several options for tripod heads, including ball heads or the traditional tilt and twist type. Ball heads are popular because they allow you to set the position using one locking mechanism, but it is a matter of personal choice so experiment with both and choose the one that suits you best. As for the legs, make sure these are easy to lock and unlock and there is no slipping when locked in place. One way to do this is with the tripod fully extended, press down firmly on the top and check that there is no slipping.

Lastly, the biggest factor in choosing a tripod is its weight. It must be able to support your camera and heaviest lens without any wobble. If you are using long exposures in low light conditions, any camera shake can destroy an image and make getting a large sized print impossible. Take your camera and longest lens into the store and mount the setup onto a few different tripods. If there is any wobbling or bounce when you gently tap the end of the lens, then the tripod is not sturdy enough to support the lens.

Some other considerations when choosing a tripod are the availability of spare parts and the possibility of adding optional features. Tripods, like most camera gear, may need servicing from time to time, especially if they are being used in wet or windy conditions. One example of an optional feature is to add a hook to the bottom of the centre column that will allow you to hang something heavy like a camera bag or sack of stones from the tripod to increase its weight. Look for a tripod that either comes with a hook or allows one to be attached later on.

A good tripod can make or break a landscape photo, so take your time in deciding which one is right for you and choose carefully.

Stock Photography agencies can be something of an enigma to beginning photographers. Unless you understand how they work, and what they expect from photographers, it can be difficult to begin selling your work through agencies. This article aims to give an overview of the stock photography business for those new to the industry.

What is a Stock Photography Agency?

Stock photography agencies are essentially a big library where buyers can search for a specific image they need to illustrate something, be it a magazine article or commercial advertisement. Buyers license the image and pay a fee to use it. The amount of the fee depends on the publication, size of the reprint, circulation and length of use. If your image is chosen, you receive a commission.

    How do I start?

To begin selling your images through an agency, first they will have to accept you. This will usually entail submitting a selection of your images for assessment. If the agency likes what they see, they might offer you a contract.

From there on it's a matter of submitting images regularly. Agencies need to keep their collections up to date to be competitive, and so expect regular contributions from their photographers.

One thing to remember is that, all things being equal, stock photography is a numbers game. The more images you have out there in the big wide world, the more chance you stand of making sales. Look at stock photography as a long term proposition. It can take a long time to build your collection and begin to make some sales. The good news though, is that everything you do is accumulative. And eventually, if you've put in the hard work, your stock collection could become a passive income, like having a share portfolio.

    What do agencies expect?

All stock agencies expect images to be technically perfect. This means no dust or scratches, color casts and pin sharp. They can't sell a sub standard image to a buyer and so won't accept them into their library. Agencies also have differing requirements as to image size and file type that they will accept. It is important to read the requirements for image submissions carefully before sending in your own.

Agencies also differ in the amount of images they require from you. Some will state you need to submit a certain number each year, others will have no minimum requirement. All this will be written into your contract, which you should read carefully before signing to ensure this is the right agency for you. In particular, find out if the agency requires exclusivity (ie. You are unable to submit to any other agency) or image exclusivity (you are unable to submit the same image to any other agency). Also, find out what you need to do if you want to cancel your contract. What is the notice period you need to give? What happens to your images after your contract is cancelled? The last thing you want is to have your images tied up somewhere that I just not working for you without anything you can do about it.

So how do I choose an agency?

You may have noticed that I haven't mentioned any agency names here. This is deliberate. There are hundreds of agencies all over the world to choose from and all of them are suited to different photographers. You may want the prestige of being with a big name agency but find that you have very little control over your images and how and where they are seen.

On the other hand, a smaller agency with fewer contributors may offer a better chance of your photos being seen and thus purchased. They might also offer higher commissions to photographers as they try to build their library and gain more market share.

It is important to look at an agency carefully before joining. Do your images fit the material they offer? Do they expect more than you can provide? Do they pay a suitable commission? What is their customer service like? If you ask a question, are they able to give you a useful answer?

Selling stock photography is a long hard road. It is competitive and takes a long time to see results. However if you stick at it and choose the right business partners, it can be very rewarding.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Keep it simple shutterbug. Travel photography is about capturing a moment, a place or a culture. It is as much about the experiences the photographer has along the way as it is about the image itself. The people you meet and the places you see. No one can deny the satisfaction the photographer gains by carefully planning and executing the perfect shot using a whole host of expensive equipment to get everything just right. However a technically perfect, but emotionally distant shot pales into insignificance next to one that manages to convey it's message with sensitivity and shows an intimacy with it's subject.

I have known many a photographer who will spend hours setting up their tripod, attaching all the required components (and some not required ones), cleaning and polishing the lens to within an inch of its life, only to miss those few moments of perfect light, when the sun bursts through the clouds and spreads it's golden rays over the scene, or the seconds a member of an exotic tribe smiles into their camera.

So how do you keep the quality, but not miss the moment? Get back to basics. Take a long hard look at your kit bag and then leave most of it behind. Take with you only the essentials. Aside from a spare battery set and other such essentials, one camera, one or two lenses, and possibly a polarizing filter should let you cover most situations. Apart from not being weighed down by a heavy bag, you will find yourself thinking less about the technical aspects of photography and more about the image you are taking.

An obvious, but often overlooked aspect of travel photography is getting to know your subject. I don't mean planning weeks ahead the best way to get to your destination and the best time to go (although this is important too). What do you do once you get there? Walk around the scene. Look at the angles. Look at the people. Speak to people. Become part of the scene. Think about the message you are trying to convey, and the way you want to convey it. Is it about the place itself or the people that live there? Are you looking at the broader picture or the finer details? Or both?

These are all questions that need to be answered at some point. The successful photographer is one who knows the purpose of their shoot and acts accordingly. You may find that you spend more time getting to know your subjects than actually shooting. This however, is no bad thing. It is better to come away with a few memorable images than many average ones. In addition to the images, you will more likely come away with a richer cultural experience. Which for many a traveling photographer, is the real prize.

So while it is easy to be swept up in discussion with other photographers about who has which gadget, don't forget why you're there in the first place, and spend a little more time thinking about what you see though the lens rather than the lens itself.

Children have nutritional needs different from those of adults in three respects:

1)Their energy requirement per unit of weight is higher than that of adults.

2)Their food should contain a higher proportion of body-building materials (protein and mineral elements) and of vitamins than that of adults.

3)Their diet should be selected with special care to include only foods which are readily digestible.

    Energy Requirements

Qualitatively, the nutritional factors necessary for the child are the same as those required to nourish an adult, namely, energy of fuel, protein, mineral salts and vitamins, plus suitable amounts of water and fiber. Quantitatively, however, their requirements differ. This is due to the fact that:

1)The basal metabolism, the amount of energy used in internal processes of the body, is considerably higher in youth than in adult life.

2)The child is usually much more active than the adult, and uses a great deal of energy in work and play.

3)Lastly, the child must have extra energy to grow on or to store in the new tissues that are being built.

    Need for Tissue-Building Material

The need of children for vitamins and tissue-building minerals is likewise proportionately higher than in adults. It has been estimated that growing children usually need more than twice as much protein and three to four times as much calcium per unit of body weight as do adults.

Protein is required for building muscle tissues, as well as for the growth of the various organs; whereas the average adult does not need more than 10 percent of his calories in the form of proteins, about 15 percent of the calories as protein will probably be safer allowance for growing children, who are storing protein.

Moreover, probably about two-thirds of the protein in the diet of children should be from the foods of animal origin (chiefly milk and eggs), which furnish complete proteins and those more efficient for growth than vegetable proteins. Hence, if a child is fed a quart of milk daily, he will be fairly certain to receive a safe surplus of protein in the best available form.

    Digestive Abilities

Lastly, it should be fairly obvious that it is essential to limit the foods used in the diet of children to such foods as are easily digestive or readily handled by the digestive tract of the child at the special age for which one is planning.

The alimentary tract of infants is not equipped to digest starches and fats, and only gradually develops the ability to handle these food materials so that only small amounts of very thoroughly cooked starchy foods can be given during the first year, while fats must be restricted in amount even in the second year.

Infants and young children seem to have less immunity to the presence of bacteria in the intestinal tract and the mucous membrane lining their alimentary tract is also more sensitive to irritating substances than in later life. Foods which are difficult to masticate, such as vegetable, nuts, etc., should be given to young children only in finely minced or ground form.

Raw vegetables and most raw fruits have to be introduced with caution as the digestive tract becomes stringer and the teeth are well-developed.

People have been using herbs to heal virtually any kind of illness for thousands of years. Traditional medicine like the traditional Chinese medicine or the Native American medicine, understood and made good use of effective herbal tonics to cure or alleviate a range of conditions, which includes infertility.

Herbs are a effective choice to cure infertility because they consist of only natural substances, eliminating the need to contaminate your body with damaging manufactured hormones and chemicals. Herbal fertility tonics naturally balance your body's energy by promoting the production of hormones involved in reproduction, thus increasing sexual performance and nullifying damaging toxins that lead to a poorer reproductive potency.

What Can Be Used To Treat Infertility?

Chasteberry: A natural hormonal balancer that helps the pituitary gland to function adequately. The pituitary gland regulates the ovulation process and maintains a healthy hormonal level within the body.

Centella Asiatica (Gotu Cola): This herb is used to improve male fertility, it helps maintaining healthy bloods vessels, as well as connective tissue, including the sperm-producing seminiferous tubules. Herbal fertility tonics that contain this herb enable men to maintain better, more powerful erections and increasing their sexual desire.

Siberian Ginseng: This herb is known as a effective sexual stimulant. It promotes sexual function and improves overall wellness. It has been used for thousands of years by the Chinese for it's regulatory effect on the menstrual cycle.

Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium grandiflorum): Vastly used in both eastern and western medicines, this herb improves male potency and acts as an sexual stimulant. It also improves a man's sperm quantity and quality.

Black Cohosh: A herb that is widely used by the native Americans and the Chinese. It has a phytoestrogenic effect on the female body, naturally stimulating the ovulation process without the harmful effects of estrogen jabs.

How To Spot Scams and Dangerous Ingredients

There are a lot of infertility treatments but sadly many of them are outright con jobs designed to take advantage of your desire to have a baby. Many products do work, but have extremely harmful side effects that may damage your health. The key is to choose products that contain only natural ingredients that are not mixed with artificial components like preservatives, colorings or other man-made ingredients.

How to Select a Natural, Safe and Effective Herbal Tonic to Treat Infertility

A natural herbal fertility tonic should not have any animal by-products as they decrease the effectiveness of the herbs and add harmful animal substances into your system. Also, the company behind the product should be trustworthy one with a good track record of creating superb herbal treatments. When in doubt, take a sample of the herbal tonic to your doctor to confirm that it is suitable for your body.

Every generation that has come along since cars and police met, has tried to figure out the relationship between age and traffic tickets. They have decided that the police just do not like kids driving. Or they prefer older people only to have vehicles.

During discussions you can hear the pros and cons about the subject. And there must be some truth to it otherwise it would not be a topic of conservation. So, is there a reason for it, that is the main question.

Deciding what factors cause the difference could be an identifier. But consider a few other things as well besides just the age of the driver. Think about the way the person is driving, the type of car they have, and other situations that might influence the officer.

Circumstances that are happening in the car could be a distraction, causing them to be blind to outside occurrences, leading to missed signals or accidents. Perhaps an older driver would be more alert, or less distracted.

An older driver is also more inclined to follow the rules of the road, and less eager to feel the need to impress friends. As we grow older we understand the results of speeding or careless driving, and how it affects everyone around us.

The cars that are being driven are also a valid point. The fast cars, the loud mufflers, and the music blaring from fourteen speakers gave way to the family car. Driven at a safe speed because of the precious cargo is one less ticket to be given out.

By seeing a few patterns, deciding the differences will become obvious. If you are not being observant, either as a result of friends or other things going on, it is easy to miss what is happening on the road. And that is when the accidents happen, or signs get missed.

Maturity, and not just age, will bring many changes to your life and your lifestyle. Starting to learn about the important things in life will bring on a different outlook. How you react to circumstances will change.

You will no longer be running around town with the gang, having fun and partying. Babies, toddlers, and loved ones are now the primary concern. Along with doing your best to keep them safe, you also understand about the value of the car you drive.

The officers are not out to get the kids for the way they drive. They are out to encourage them to be safe. And also, if possible, to keep them from killing themselves or others, through careless driving habits. It is another teaching experience.

And we hear of all the young drivers who do not pay attention to the lesson. Every day in the news there is an article about an accident involving teenagers and a car. They were driving too fast, or under the influence, and then there was an accident that could have been prevented. And this is part of the relationship between age and traffic tickets. The older driver has understood what safe driving is by living through the experience.

The popular belief of impaired driving is drinking and driving and yet it is there is more to impaired driving. A driver's most popular question is usually how long it takes to get a pardon if someone has been convicted of impaired driving. To get the answer to the question asked the driver must first know the laws. While driving impaired, there are certain laws that vary from country to country that affect the person.

Legal levels of blood alcohol that a person can have in their body while driving changes depending on the country, province or state they are in. Canada's legal level of alcohol for a driver over 21 years old is 0.05%, but in Quebec it is 0.08% for the same age driver. The United States of America's legal limit for a 21 year old driver is the same as in the province of Quebec. The legal limit is 0.01% to 0.05% for anyone of the age of 21 driving In the USA. For bus drivers and other transport vehicles operators the limit is 0.01% while driving. The new law that is in place in Canada has made it illegal for the young drivers under 21 years old to have any alcohol in their body while driving.

Cops in the countries of Canada and the United States of America make DUI drivers participate in field sobriety tests if they believe the people are guilty of driving under the influence. Saying the alphabet in reverse is one of the tests used a lot by the police. Walking in a straight line heel to toe is done by drivers who are participating in the walk and turn test. Standing with one leg and touching a finger to the nose tests the balance, hand to eyes coordination of a driver. Modified position of attention and nystagmus are other tests that an officer can make a person do. A breath test or PBT is done to check the blood to alcohol levels that are in a person's body.

The ability to drive can be affected by not just alcohol, but other drugs as well. Drug users that inject or snort cocaine feel more confident and alert, yet there sight and ability to hear well are affected. Slow reaction time, decrease ability to concentrate, the ability to keep hands steady and the strength of muscles affect those who have taken the drug known as Cannabis. Those suffering from distorted moods and visions are under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs like LSD. Taking medical drugs to deal with a cold like cough syrup can make a driver drowsy while driving.

An impairment that is very dangerous while driving is fatigue. Less energy causes slower reaction time while a person is driving fatigued. Several collisions occur from a driver falling asleep at the wheel while driving. Moving obstacles for example an animal become more dangerous to a driver who has a slower reaction time caused by lack of sleep. Coffee and other caffeinated beverages are not the solution for fatigue because only a good night sleep will eliminate fatigue.

Driving under the influence charges differ depending on the country the person is in. The first offense penalties are $150-$1000 fine, 3 day license suspension for drivers caught within the warning blood alcohol content range of 0.05%-0.08%. After the first offense a driver caught within the 5 year range they get charge with a 7 day suspension, pay a fine, as well as, attend a mandatory alcohol education program. The punishments and costs of the fines become more severe for each level a driver goes up. If a user of illegal drugs is caught driving they can be charged with possession and similar charges that apply to a driver caught drinking and driving.

How to get a pardon for the DUI is a question asked a lot by people who are charged with driving under the influence. Step number one for a person interested in getting a pardon is to obtain their certified criminal record. Once the person has their certified criminal record, they need to get a copy of their finger prints by the either getting it from an electronic printing agency or by obtaining it from the local police force in their city or town and then the person sends the copy of the finger prints with payment to the civil sector of government. In the mail the person will receive a copy of their criminal record which has to be check over by the person to see if all charges are on the criminal record. Having legal specialist like pardon base companies represent you in court is a great idea and a step that some forget to do. The amount of time can change from a few months to years for a driver charge with a DUI waiting for their pardon.

Drugs, both medical and non-medical, alcohol and fatigue are the many shapes and forms of DUI, yet the punishments for all of them are the same for the driver. Field sobriety tests are asked to be done by a driver that the local police officers suspect is under the influence. The charges and penalties a driver will receive are based on the level of conviction they are at when caught driving under the influence. Answering the question of how long it takes to get a pardon if someone has been convicted of impaired driving changes upon the situation and country that they are in.

What, if any, are the differences between love and dating? What is love? What is dating? Undoubtedly, many people will insist there is no difference between love and dating, and most certainly, many of you out there are dating and love the person you date. Nonetheless, not everyone who dates actually loves the person they are currently with, just as you don't date everyone you love. Love; love is a huge subject, much has been said on the topic of love, and without a doubt much more has yet to be said.

By definition, dating is going out and seeing someone socially. In the modern world we live in, many people think nothing of dating several people at once, perhaps this is just part of a selfish compulsion to have as much as one can for oneself; or it may be a way of testing the situation. After all, we can buy goods and take them back if we don't like them and test-drive a car, why can't we test relationships. Going out with several people is also a way to try to avoid getting hurt, most of us have been hurt in the past and don't ever want to go through such an awful experience ever again. So we close ourselves off, refuse to allow ourselves to develop true feelings or "love", instead we go out with multiple partners, date casually and break things off whenever we feel they are getting too serious or love-like.

Dating varies in different cultures; in fact, even people within the same culture will often have many different definitions of dating. While one person may think they are dating, the person they think they date thinks something entirely different. Dating someone and turning it into actual love takes time. Everyone is different and moves at a different pace. Some may have been seriously wounded in the past and take much longer to develop feelings than others. The important thing is to not pressure yourself or others to go at a pace that is not natural; letting things flow naturally is a very important part of love and dating.

There are many degrees of dating. Dating may be simply a single night, a date between two people who find they have nothing in common and do not wish to go out ever again. Often people date casually and both know that there is no commitment involved, and are aware that they will both see other people as well. Dating can also be a serious relationship, such as exclusive dating between two people who believe they may have found their partner for life or soul mate. While many who date may love the person they are dating, others are very clear that they do not love their dating partner, and are often content to keep it that way.

Getting married is much more than simply the actual ceremony that everyone sees. There is a lot of planning that goes into it and it is often a very tiring ordeal. For the bride and groom to be able to get away and spend some time alone with each other is often a great relief after all the hubbub and excitement. Picking a honeymoon destination is not an easy decision. There are many different ideas and places that may seem perfect to one couple and a nightmare to another.

Many people pick their honeymoon location based on where they live, for example, if you live somewhere there is lots of snow, cold and rain, a hot tropical island or paradisiacal beach may be an exotic change of scene for your honeymoon. Likewise, if you live in the tropics, a log cabin on a snow covered mountain may be the romantic setting you have always dreamed of.

The trick to planning a perfect honeymoon is to discuss it together and decide in advance what you would like to do. Planning the perfect surprise honeymoon may not always be a good idea, if you take your new partner on a cruise only to discover a little too late that they suffer from motion sickness could ruin your honeymoon. Honeymoons, though not always, are often only once in a lifetime. Preparing them in detail will be crucial to making it a very special and memorable time, no matter what you choose to do or where you go.

The most important part of a honeymoon is being with the person you love and chose to marry. Ideally, a honeymoon should last a week, maybe even two, but in the fast paced world we live in, many people cannot swing more than a few days, not to mention the financial factor. If money and time are not an issue, consider going abroad. Discuss places you've always wanted to go, compare and choose the perfect destination together. Look for exotic destinations, somewhere that makes you feel romantic. For those who have limited time and/or money, there are still many options to choose from. Look around your town or city for nearby secluded spots. An out of town, rustic bed and breakfast may provide the setting you are looking for. Secluded lake houses or mountain cabins are also prime locations that will help you forget the flow of activity of the busy world and concentrate on the person you love.

Whether you choose a 5 star hotel in Switzerland, a cabin on the beach in Thailand, or a rental outside your city, the most important thing is choosing your destination together so you can both enjoy the beginning of this new life together to the full.

Most of us are interested in living as long as we can, and at the same time increasing the quality of our lives. There are lots of methods that claim to help prolong life, but the most reliable way of increasing your lifespan is without a doubt, healthy living. Here our a few suggestions on how to have a healthier life.

Sleep! The benefits of proper sleep have often been researched, studied and reported. We are all different, but our need for adequate sleep is basically the same. Despite many people thinking they can get along with less sleep than others, this lack of sleep adds up and is linked to many health issues and their consequences. The average person needs about eight hours of sleep per night, although the timing and quality of such sleep also plays an important role.

Exercise! Keeping your body in shape is a sure way to increase your overall health, stay in shape, and consequentially reduce health risks associated to being overweight. An hour of daily exercise is recommended, but if your schedule doesn't allow it, try to fit in at least four hours per week.

Eat right! To a certain extent, you are what you eat! Choosing what you eat carefully and avoiding fatty foods will help prevent health risks. Maintaining a balanced diet is vital to a healthy lifestyle. Plan healthy meals and avoid unnecessary snacking in between.

Relax! Stress is a very common word these days! The pace of our lives is constantly increasing and it is highly important that we find ways to reduce the stress levels that are built up daily. Find what works for you, whether it's a hot bath, a night out with friends, or a walk down a deserted beach; getting rid of stress is crucial to your health.

Love! Believe it or not, love is linked to health. Those who love are less prone to several diseases and health problems. Whether you love a companion, your kids, grandkids, friends or a pet, it truly is the thought that counts when it comes to feelings of love.

Don't smoke and try to avoid hanging around smokers. The negative consequences of cigarettes are well known be most of us. If you are a smoker, do your best to quit, and avoid hanging around friends who smoke.

Alcohol! Although a small amount of wine daily can be beneficial to your health, too much alcohol can have the opposite effect and drastic consequences. Moderation is the key.

Sunscreen! The sun is directly linked to aging, wearing protective clothing and adequate sunscreen when outdoors is extremely important. A glamorous tan may look good for a while, but the lack of one can help you live a lot longer.

Water! Drinking enough water is vital to staying healthy and to keep your body in running order. The quality of the water you drink is also very important.

Be happy! Happiness is vital to your health. A negative or bitter outlook on life is linked to several diseases. By thinking happy thoughts and wishing others well, we can help keep a positive mindset and be cheerful despite the adversities that constantly threaten to bring us down.

When choosing a new cell-phone the options can seem quite overwhelming. Besides the endless options of phones on the market, new phones with all kinds of new features and extras seem to be launched daily. With the constant novelties arriving on the scene, how can you possibly know which phone is the right one for you? Understanding a few of these features and what exactly they help you with will help you choose the phone that is right for you. There are many different phones on the market, and undoubtedly there is one made to fit your needs and wants perfectly.

If you want a camera phone, look for the following: first of all, check into the phone's memory capacity. A phone that has internal memory, but no expansion slot for a memory card, will hardly fit any pictures; if you plan on using your camera feature, be sure to look for a phone that accepts memory cards. Another important feature on the camera will be the flash or other lighting mechanism; since the main idea of the camera on your phone is for the practicality of it, you will probably be whipping it out in some dark situations such as nightclubs, etc – without a lighting feature – the camera won't do much good. Last item on the camera issue is quality; look for a camera with at least a 1.3 mega-pixel resolution, lower than that will not render you very nice pictures.

Another popular feature in cell phones the ability to play music. This comes in two different features, radio and mp3s. A phone with a radio is simple enough, but if you want a phone that plays mp3s, be sure to look for a phone with a memory expansion slot, or you won't be able to fit many mp3s in your phone.

Many phones can connect with computers through different ways, USB cables, Bluetooth, and infrared are the most common. Having these features allows you to pass data between the phone and your computer. If you have memory in your phone it can also act as a USB drive.

Check out the connectivity features of a phone you are interested in, many phones are capable of accessing the internet, allowing you to check email and sign into messenger programs. Although the speed of writing text on a phone is often slow, except in the case of phones with a full keyboard, this is a very handy feature for trips and other situations when you need to communicate with someone via internet. Prices for accessing the internet vary between phone companies, so be sure to check with your local service for details.

Other small details to think about include screen size and color, warranty extensions, ringtone formats, gaming options, etc.

Link building … when is enough -- enough. Link building can be a very effective way through which you can build up traffic to your Internet business website -- and increase your business profits as a result. However, there does reach a point at which you've done enough link building. Through this article, you will be provided with some pointers so that you can determine when you've done enough effective link building to your Internet based business website.

Before you make a decision as to when you've done enough link building, you need to keep in mind the benefits of link building. Generally speaking, the more inbound links that you have to your website, the higher your website will ranked in different search engine results. Therefore, the first and most fundamental factor that you need to keep in mind when trying to determine whether or not you've done enough link building is an examination of whether or not your own website has reached the search engine result ranking that you desire and that is most helpful to you and to your Internet based enterprise or venture.

Another factor that you need to keep in mind when it comes to link building and making a decision as to whether you've done enough link building is a consideration of relevant sites. When all is said and done, you must have what might best be determined to be quality inbound links. In this regard, you need to have inbound links from relevant sites, from sites that bear some relationship to your own website. Merely placing a bunch of inbound links at so-called link farms will not necessarily serve your interests in either the short or the long term.

Finally, when it comes to reaching the point where you feel that you've done enough link building, you will want to consider whether or not you've realized an appropriate increase in traffic to your website. As you pull together an inbound link building and enhancement program, you will want to establish goals in regard to the volume of traffic increase that you would like to have at your website. One you've reached this market, once you've achieved your goal, you can let up on your link building program.

Keep in mind that in time you likely will want to return to link building even after you've achieved and accomplished what you set out to do through your initial link building plan. Over time, inbound links can become inactive, websites on which they are located can become defunct. Thus, it is important to revisit link building again over time.

As you go about developing a strategy for increasing traffic to your Internet business website, you will want to keep in mind the ten tips for link building and best practice associate with link building. Through this article, you are provided with those ten top tips associated with link building and with the best practice in link building today. Of course, there are other tips and pointers that can be helpful to you. However, these basic tips will be fundamental to getting a solid inbound link building program in place.

    1. Have a great website.

Before you start any sort of inbound link building program, make sure that your own website is as good -- as great -- as it can be. Make sure that you have an attractive, functional and user friendly website in place and in operation before you begin a link building campaign.

    2. Link with high traffic websites.

When it comes to link building, look to link your website with other websites that already have high traffic. The net result, the end result of any link building campaign is to attract more traffic to your own site. And, you've a far better chance of doing this if you link with websites that do have high traffic.

    3. Look for sites that invite links.

Some websites actually invite other sites to place links on their sites. Provided these websites meet your other criteria, consider linking up with sites that actually do want to place a link to your website on their venue.

    4. Improve your search engine rankings independent of link building.

As you go about crafting a link building program, use other methods of increasing and improving you search engine rankings as well. You do not want to put all of your eggs into one basked. Moreover, some sites will be more apt to allow you to place a link on those sites if your own site rankings are solid.

    5. Link only with quality sites.

Make sure that you only link with quality sites. A site that links to your site will reflect on your website -- and you want that reflection to be positive.

    6. Make sure a linked site is relevant.

Make sure that any website that contains a link to your website is a website that is relevant to your own venue. A link to your site on an irrelevant site really will not be greatly helpful to you.

    7. Check out how many quality inbound links a site already has in existence or in place.

Pay attention to how many quality inbound links a particular site you are considering placing a link on actually has at this time. Search engines sometimes do consider inbound links to a site that you are linking with when it comes to determining your own website search engine rankings.

    8. Limit Reciprocal links.

Try as you can to limit reciprocal or other outbound links at your own website. You do not want people linking through to your own website only to link out again and go somewhere else. You want people to stay at your website long enough to buy your products or to engage your services.

    9. Follow up in regard to inbound links with regularity.

Take the time to check on inbound links to your site from time to time to make sure that they are functional and to make certain that the websites at which these inbound links to your own website are locate continue to meet your needs and requirements.

    10. Make sure your website information remains current.

Finally, make sure that the information and materials at your own website remains current and up to date. Make sure that your own website remains functional, in fine form and user friendly.

As you go about developing a comprehensive program to increase traffic to your Internet business website, you likely are looking for those tools that can be most useful to you. To this end, you may wondering how to create a link bait. Indeed, a link bait can be very helpful to you in beefing up the volume of traffic to your Internet business website. Through this article, you are provided with an overview of how to create a link bait.

In simple terms, link bait is any content or feature that is included on a website that "baits" or attracts and draws people to place links to the particular website that is featuring this attractive content or feature. Using link bait oftentimes is a part of an overall search engine optimization program and plan. In very simple terms, link bait is anything that ends up being interesting enough to catch attention from other people.

Examples of link bait include placing links to a website within copy that is included within or placed on bulletin boards, social networking website venues and newsgroup websites. Many people have found this type of Internet marketing as part of a link building program to be very powerful and ultimately successful in increasing traffic to a particular website.

Informational Hooks: These types of link baits provide a reader with useful information which causes them to click on a link.

News Hooks: These types of link baits provide tidbits of news that motivate a person to click on a link.

Humor Hooks: By entertaining a reader, a reader many times will take the step of clicking on a link to see "if the story continues" at the referenced website.

Evil Hooks: The making of strong, negative or even harsh statements oftentimes can motivate a person to click on a link.

Tool Hooks: By providing access to some sort of tool that might be useful to a person, you oftentimes can motivate a person to click on a link.

You can walk down any high street and almost every tenth shop is some sort of eating place or coffee shop. They spring up here there and everywhere, don't they?

And the good ones are always busy.

So, when was the last time you visited a high street coffee shop?

    In the last hour?

    Yesterday?

    Last week?

    Last month?

Did you sit in on one of those comfy lougers or grab a quick take-a-way on your way to work?

Or maybe you have never visited a coffee shop and simply happy with the free vending machine at work.

Over the last 10 years coffee shops are one of the fastest growing retailers.

More and more are being established.

I know in my local town whenever a shop closes, it often re-opens as a coffee franchise. Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Tchibo, Nero…there are many to choose from.

And no matter how many there are in each town, you always have to queue. So many people are now finding the time and money to have a coffee with friends. Relax a bit, have a good gossip and simply enjoy each other's company.

Or maybe, you go there to work on the free wi-fi offering.

I'm lucky enough to live by the sea and often my wife and I go out for a cup of coffee overlooking the sea. You know spur of the moment thing.

    "Fancy a coffee?"

"Yes, I'll put the kettle on"

    "No, let's go to Costa's"

    "Great idea…"

A few years ago you would never have guessed we would pay $3 or $4 for an ordinary cup of coffee. But we all do, don't we?

This weekend just gone, we decided to take a visit into town just for a cup of coffee.

    "We'll go to…"

    "Yeah, sounds good"

When we arrived we changed our minds on where to go.

We saw a 'better' coffee shop open.

So what do you look for in your favourite coffee shop?

What makes you go back time and time again?

Some would say – "simply good tasting coffee"

Others would say – "a wide selection of great tasting coffees and cakes"

Others want - "a wide selection of great tasting coffees and cakes plus well trained staff, a smile and an efficient service, maybe with free wi-fi"

What about – "a wide selection of great tasting coffees and cakes plus well trained staff, a smile and an efficient service with free wi-fi and they know your name"

Which statement would make you give 10 out of 10?

My wife and I go to relax, so the following is important to us:

    1. A nice comfy sofa

    2. Great tasting coffee

    3. A good selection of cakes to choose from

    4. Service with a smile

And if we can see by the window 'people watching', even better.

That's it – we are easily pleased. But so many coffee shops just don't provide all 4 of our needs. They may just offer points, 2, 3 and 4 but point 1 is so important!

Or 1, 2 and 3, but point 4 is also important to us!

    What is important to you?

What do you look for in a coffee shop for you to go back time and time again?

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Peter has a background in psychology and is one of the UK's leading confidence coaches. He teaches at the Bristol Old Vic, as well as regularly featuring in television programmes such as Faking It and Would Like To Meet. Over the last ten years Peter has pioneered the application of theatre and drama to the challenges of corporate life. This work includes communication skills, motivation, creativity and innovation as well as personal impact coaching.

This interview took place a couple of months ago, and as part of the Great Successful People Package, Peter provides a 45-minute much more revealing interview covering relationships, confidence building and redundancy.

    Meanwhile, enjoy this:

Andrew Rondeau: Today I am interviewing speaker, actor and legendary coach, Peter Nicholas. Hi Peter, how are you?

    Peter Nicholas: Great, fine.

Andrew: Peter, you have had great success and an enjoyable career, so far. You started as a freelance coach. Tell me more about that period of your life.

Peter: I was doing a lot of personal impact work with top managers. Managers in politics, actors and sports individuals. Personal impact being presentation and public speaking skills. Alongside this, I was running Personal Development Courses and working in the theatre, singing and acting. Plenty of Shakespeare, I thoroughly enjoyed running the courses in large organisations. About 6 years ago, I had a nightmare 6-month theatre tour which coincided with having our first child. I'd had enough of living out of a suitcase and decided to concentrate on personal impact training and personal development courses. Now I'm away 1 - 3 days a week and also have the ability to work from home. The work-life balance is very different now and much more rewarding.

Andrew: So becoming a father and living out of a suitcase for 6 months was a turning point for you?

    Peter: Yes, absolutely.

    Andrew: Any others?

Peter: Yes, about 5 years ago the TV programme 'Faking It' was advertising for an acting coach. I applied, along with 20 others. I had to pitch how I would build someone's confidence and confidence building is a fascination of mine. I won the contract and worked on several of the programmes.

Andrew: So why was that a turning point? What's happened since then?

Peter: I no longer have to knock on doors. People and companies knock on mine. I suddenly realised what I was great at. It was a re-branding exercise for me, from being an actor to trainer and facilitator.

I now have my own company, Threshold Communication. We design and run development workshops. I structure them to ensure they are interactive and full of learning. I love working with groups of people. Threshold Communications has expanded the offerings to include Change Management, Strategy and Diversity. Communications underpin everything else.

Andrew: So why move from freelance to running your own company, Threshold Communications?

Peter: My company partner James Brooke and I had worked together on and off for ten years and had a good working relationship; It was a perfect fit,. James has got great corporate experience. He is used to dealing with strategy and change management and has a economist background. With my coaching, and communications performing and creativity we get to explore ideas from different perspectives, it works well.

Andrew: So what sets Threshold Communications apart from the rest?

Peter: We ask the right questions, find out what's needed, design a blend of interactive sound business theory, psychology and theatre based dynamics to make the learning fun have lasting impact. And we do it better than others.

Andrew: What would individuals learn by attending your communications workshop?

    Peter: They would get to

    1. learn to take responsibility for all their communications.

    2. Practice how they can adapt and connect to others better

    3. Develop more impact through their natural communications style

    4. build their confidence in order to go out and use the new tools and techniques learnt on the workshop.

    5. Have fun whilst learning.

Andrew: How does your communications course fit with technology today?

Peter: Just throwing technology at people will not change communications . there has to be the will, confidence and integrity to commit to doing things differently. For instance , we cover more effective ways to use video conferencing. You can't just be there at the end of the camera. You have to be present and contribute. That's difficult via video conferencing. We show you how video conferencing should work. You can't just turn on the camera and use it like the telephone.

Andrew: So, Peter give us a few tips on how best to use video conferencing?

Peter: Know what is it for?

    Then............

Only have the people there who need to be there,

Keep meetings really short, 30 minutes max.

Send out minimal pertinent prep work and make sure everyone comes prepared for the meeting ,

    Speak in bullet points,

    Double the listening ,

    Speak to express not impress,

Everyone commits to being present and contributing rather than checking e. mails and writing shopping lists.

At any point you can ask some one else to summaries what has been said. That really focuses the group and gets them present.

Andrew: What other common communication failings do you come across and how could individuals overcome them?

Peter: Everyone can keep investigating how to improve their effectiveness form one conversation to the next; A real sense of integrity and purpose rather than ego or fear is a good starting point.

Andrew: Peter, you have enjoyed great success. How important has goal setting been to your overall success?

    Peter: No goal no team.

No possibility for vision, motivation or action.

Andrew: What motivates you to do the work that you do?

Peter: I love working with people and teams and seeing the work we do make a difference.

Andrew: What attributes do you believe make a successful leader?

    Peter: How long have we got? Attributes include;

A clear here to there, ability to know your strengths and play to them . Being able to learn from mistakes and move on quickly. Clear decision making. Become your own best business coach and a very supportive family

Andrew: How is Personal Development different now, as opposed to when you started out in business?

Peter: It is a little more rigorous and seen much less as a therapy where there is a lot of navel gazing over the past. It acknowledges the past then focuses more on taking responsibility for the now and creating the future as you want it.

Andrew: How do you see Personal Development / Leadership changing over the next 5 years?

Peter: More and more people will have their own business coach and be changing careers more frequently.

Andrew: If you could recommend one book that all aspiring leaders should read, what would it be?

Peter: Reinventing your life by Young and Klosko.

Andrew: So, we have heard a little bit of your background and what you are doing today. What does the future hold for you?

Peter: We are developing leadership development programs in several international companies and Threshold is developing coaching and personal impact wings ....and starting to publish all the good stuff we do.

Andrew: Are there any other thoughts, insights or advice for aspiring leaders that you would like to share?

Peter: Yes - get really interested in whoever you are working with. Don't put anyone down . Be the change you want to see, get being present and ooze integrity.

Andrew: Thank you, Peter. I appreciate the time to complete this interview.

Peter: I hope it's useful. Best wishes.

Article Title: Here Is A Quick Way For New Managers To Turn Around Negative Attitudes

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

It doesn't matter where you work, at some point all organizations have employees who develop negative attitudes. The reasons can stem from stress, trauma, being overworked, being underpaid, personal problems at home, etc. Negativity is like a cancer, and can spread to even the most positive employees.

So what can you do about it?

    1. Be A Positive Leader:

It all starts at the top. Employees attitudes and performances usually reflect management and leadership. And if leadership displays negativity on a daily basis, it's going to filter down to lower level employees as well. That's why it's important for management to portray a positive, united front, even when things are not necessarily going well within the organization.

    2. Offer Positive Reinforcement:

People aren't perfect so don't expect them to be. Yes, point out their mistakes and weaknesses, but do it in a positive, nurturing way. By the same token, pat your employees on the back from time to time, to let them know you appreciate their efforts. You'd be surprised what a little positive reinforcement can do.

    3. Acknowledge The Problem:

If you spot signs of negativity, don't ignore it. Acknowledge that there is a problem and deal with it immediately. Don't allow the problem to fester and spread. If you don't deal with the situation immediately, the problem is only going to get worse. On top of that, your employees are going to think that management doesn't care about them and their job performance is going to suffer. Talk to your employees on a regular basis. Inquire about their families and hobbies. Show them that you care. Ask what you can do to help them do their jobs better, and make the work environment more pleasant for everyone.

    4. Add A Suggestion Box:

If you don't already have one, a suggestion box is a great way to entice employees to contribute positive ideas for improving the workplace. Just don't be afraid to encourage your employees to use it.

You can even make it a fun thing, by awarding gifts and prizes for the best suggestions.

    5. Don't Fall Into The Trap:

It's very easy to get caught up in the negativity, especially with employees that you're particularly close to. Don't do it. When the bitching, moaning and complaining starts, take control of the situation immediately and change the subject to something more positive and pleasant, until such time you can meet with the individuals privately.

    In closing:

As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, it is not unusual for organizations to go through periods of negativity. However, the way you deal with that negativity makes all the difference in the world.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

If you really want to improve the way you play the game of Texas Hold em it is important that you learn about the game and the various strategies that you can use. By learning about how to play the game properly through the use of the right kinds of Texas hold em strategy then you will not only understand the game better but you will also find it helps to improve the way in which you play it resulting in the chance of you winning more money. However in this particular article we are going to be looking at the mistakes some beginners will often make in relation to various poker strategies.

    Playing over your limit

Unfortunately there are times when playing this game or any other kind of poker game a player will become greedy and then take part in games which they can not actually afford. Whilst there are others who play in games where there are up against stiff competition.

In stead what a player should be doing is to be consistent with how much they play with and keep the limit to which they will play to low at all times. It is best if a player learns how to play the game properly before they start to take part in games which have much higher stakes and larger risks attached to them.

Too emotional once in the game

If you become too emotional whilst at the table you may well find that you start to lose more often and will begin to annoy those you are playing against. Instead take your time and just put your emotions away and do not allow them to sway your judgment once you are involved in a game.

Following the Rules and Etiquette of the Game

The biggest mistake a lot of players make when first starting out in this game is what they say. Instead of saying "I call your bet and raise you $....." you should in fact be saying "Raise $......". Unfortunately in this and other games of poker what ever you say first will be considered to be the action you wish to take. So when you say "I call your bet and raise you $...." then they will take the "I call" as being the action that you wish to take.

A lot of players when first letting about different types of Texas hold em strategy techniques will often try to copy other players. The problem with using this type of strategy when learning to play the game could cost you dearly as you are likely to learn their bad habits as well. Therefore it is extremely important that you learn for yourself how to make decisions rather than from copying someone else.

Forgiveness is a road to freedom—one that literally heals marriages, homes, hearts, and even crime in our communities.

For years many have wondered what makes some marriages last a lifetime, while others stumble and fall apart? A study completed at Arizona State University West showed that the answer lies in a couple's ability to forgive. And did you know that forgiveness may reduce the risk of heart disease? On January 2, 1998, ABC News reported, "Studies show that letting go of anger and resentment can reduce the severity of heart disease and, in some cases, even prolong the lives of cancer patients." Not only that, a 1995 study conducted by the University of Montgomery analyzed how an unforgiving heart factors into crime. The study proved that forgiveness plays a significant role in reducing the revengeful responses that prompt criminal acts.

So, what is forgiveness? Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States of America says: "I think it means . . . putting yourself in the position of the other person, and wiping away any sort of resentment and antagonism you feel toward them." Forgiveness means letting go of past hurts, pain, and offence and replacing our anger, resentment, and fears with love and peace. Forgiveness is pardoning the wrongs of life. Thomas A. Kempis said, "Be assured that if you knew all, you would pardon all."

Charlotte VanOyen Witvliet, a professor of psychology at Hope College emphasizes that offering forgiveness takes strength. She said: "Forgiving doesn't mean ignoring an injustice or letting someone treat you badly. Remember that it's not a wimp's response. It takes a strong, courageous effort to make that move. Letting go of your grudges takes a great deal of moral muscle." Mahatma Gandhi would agree. He said, "The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong." And Archbishop Desmond Tutu is sure to point out that forgiveness doesn't mean we approve of the offenses against us. He said: "Forgiveness is taking seriously the awfulness of what has happened when you are treated unfairly. Forgiveness is not pretending that things are other than the way they are."

There is honesty in the process of forgiving. A real recognition of the pain of the offense, coupled with a strong desire to love and let go, allows forgiveness to occur. The truth is, if we really want to love, we must get to the point where we're strong enough to forgive. While we cannot change others, we can change the way we feel about our past, and even ourselves. In the process of forgiving, we enhance the present, change the course of our future, and halt the negative trends of history that tend to seep into the future.

While forgiving others is a necessary step down the path of freedom, so is forgiving ourselves. All too often we carry the burdens of our past and refuse to let go of our mistakes. We get caught in a never ending cycle of negativity when we hold on to self-condemnation and use it to punish ourselves. When we're penitent and apologetic of our past and restitution has been made, forgiving ourselves is the final step in healing.

As you work to heal, practice forgiveness! It is your key to freedom. If you find that you're offended, sad, or depressed about pains from the past, seek relief through the miracle of forgiveness.

If you have acid reflux disease, you may want to try to use alternatives before you get into taking harsh medications. First, try making some lifestyle changes to see if they work for you. Your doctor can give you some information and help with that. A change in diet is the first thing that can help reduce your acid reflux symptoms. An acid reflux diet is usually simple to follow and easy for you to make the changes with. This article is designed to help you understand some ideas for the acid reflux diet.

    Losing Weight Helps

Losing weight is a good idea for anyone who is overweight whether he or she has acid reflux or not. If you can loose up to 10% of the weight you have now, you may see a difference in the acid reflux symptoms. In an acid reflux diet, you will practice eating less calories and start exercising each day as they can help you lower your weight faster.

No Large Meals, Especially Before Bed

Many of the acid reflux diets available will tell you to start eating more frequently and keep the meals small. You do not want to eat a lot of food at bedtime either. Your stomach is likely to produce more acid when it is digesting a meal so you do not want to lie down to sleep and wake up with acid reflux. The acid is more likely to come up when you lie down so you may want to prop yourself up while you sleep.

    Stay Upright After Meals

Lying down is a bad thing when you suffer from acid reflux disease. The gravity from being down can help the acid to come back up into the esophagus. Sit or stand for at least one hour after you finish eating.

    High Complex Carbohydrates

High complex carbohydrates are the ones that everyone has been told to avoid, it can help help if you eat foods such as bread and pasta that have complex carbohydrates as they will actually help to soak up the acid and keep it down where it belongs.

    No Fast Foods

The fat content in fast foods is an absolute no for acid reflux sufferers. An acid reflux diet requires that you stay clear of high fat foods as they cause the stomach to produce more acid because of the high fat content. You are more apt to gain weight with fast food, giving your acid reflux symptoms an added boost.

    Get Rid of the Alcohol

If you consume any amount of alcohol, you will need to reduce or stop it altogether. Alcohol actually encourages the stomach to produce more acid. It also relaxes the esophagus muscles (esophageal sphincter) so they can not close properly. The esophageal sphincter is located at the top of the stomach and the bottom of the esophagus. When the muscles of the esophageal sphincter do not work right, the stomach contents are able to leak back up toward the mouth and cause irritation.

    Acid Producing Foods

Acid reflux diets are designed to help you stay away from foods that make stomach acid rise. Some of these foods are coffee, citrus foods, tomatoes, spicy food, alcohol and chocolate. Thus, you need to avoid eating these foods as much as possible.

Hopefully, the acid reflux diet tips can help to start you off on the right track in managing your acid reflux condition. Don't forget to visit your doctor and discuss more treatment options for you.
