Due to a large number of pool drowning, Australian state governments agreed to impose a pool fence regulations – making it compulsory for households with pools to install a perimeter around the pool to protect those little lives. These are actually pool security regulations and pool fence is just a small component. Other factors include house window, property perimeter fence and anything climbable, what children can use to climb and jump over the fence in order to get to the pool.
While it is always an option to use the usual steel perimeter pool fence, many households opt for a more ascetic option and choose a frameless design made out of glass. Glass pool fencing is attractive and looks very stylish. It brings a classier feel to your pool area, and completes the landscape. Often, you won't even notice it right away – the unobstructed view makes glass a very attractive option. Unlike conventional fencing, glass fence doesn't make your backyard look smaller. In actual fact, it can often improve the feeling of increased space around your pool.
There are two types of glass pool fence. Frameless and semi-frameless. Frameless fence sits in two spigots which are fixed to the ground. There are no supporting vertical poles between the glass pieces. Semi-frameless fence is attached into vertical supporting poles between each glass fence. Both types provide the same type of security, however, frameless fence requires thicker glass, which makes it more expensive.
Glass Fence Security
The common question people ask is whether the glass fence is secure. Many think that while trying to protect kids from getting into the pool, how do you protect them from smashing the glass fence?
The answer is in the type of glass that is used. The fence is normally made from toughened glass with thickness anywhere between 8-12mm. A 12mm piece of glass is very hard to break. And if it does break, since the glass is toughened, it smashes into tiny little pieces. In other words, if glass breaks, it will break into a heap of glass, which can then be easily cleaned up from the area. This is a certified type of glass, also used for shower screens and glass doors.
When thinking about your fence, think about your backyard. Fences come in different styles and sizes. Even more so, no two fences of similar style look the same as the complete result depends on other landscape features around the pool. It's up to you to choose whether the enclosure will become a feature of your garden or blend into the existing surroundings.
Pool Safety Regulations
Even if the glass fence installation contractor guarantees compliance with the government regulations, it is highly recommended to contact your local council or shire yourself, before getting your fence installed. They will send someone to check your pool once the fence is installed, so it makes sense to get it done properly right from the start.
It's all about safety. Once the fence is installed, don't rely completely on this barrier for safety around your pool. For people who have young children, it is absolutely critical to keep an eye on them all the time. Also, check perimeter fence, window locks and anything that kids can climb on. As the saying goes, better safe than sorry!
Installation
While there are many companies offering DIY kits for glass pool fence, it is highly recommended to get a contractor to install your fence. It is very easy to break glass when it's not handled properly. You may save on the price of the kit, but it may end up to be more costly if something goes wrong.

Times of crisis call for reducing our budget and avoiding unnecessary spending. Does that mean really forgetting about the things we love? Should we stop rewarding ourselves because we need to be a little more thrifty, even if we continue to work hard?
For people who simply adore jewelries, there are plenty of other options that are available these days. For example, there are rings that can give the same brilliance of diamonds and splendor of gold without the expensive tag. If you are the type of person who enjoys buying jewelries but has to save a little more too, you might want to check out the Cubic Zirconia rings.
The Zirconia rocks are actually an imitation of diamonds. The main difference is that, Zirconia is made by man while diamonds can only be created through nature's process. A few years back, Zirconia was made only in Russia. The country has the laser technology which can do the precise cuts. These days, the production of these rocks is more common across the globe. Truth is, you can have the same ring at a lower price if you check out other not too popular but equally reliable stores. If you are good in searching for high standard but affordable rings, you will be able to find the same ones at around $150 to $200.
Zirconia rings sell big in the market these days because it can really mimic diamonds. If you are going to look at it with the naked eye, it can be quite confusing which is diamond and which is Zirconia, unless you are a real expert when it comes to diamonds and gems.
Both diamonds and Zirconia are really hard rocks. Diamonds get a perfect ten score based on Mohs scale while Zirconia has 8.5. Actually, Zirconina may even be better than diamonds. It is easier to achieve its clarity and it has better dispersion of light which makes it very brilliant.
It is not just diamond that the Zirconia can imitate. It can also be designed and cut to emulate sapphire and even emeralds. The rocks can also be used for different designs of sterling silver or gold Cubic Zirconia rings.

If you want to have your own business you should follow a few important tips. Don't start a new business without a business plan. This is one of the most common mistakes. Without a good plan it's impossible to create a successful business.

Show your business plan to your accountant. He might help you make some changes. Keep in mind that in any business there is a risk. The smartest thing is to make that risk as small as possible.
For a good business plan you also need the ability to anticipate change. Do your best to adapt your business to the client's needs. You initial business plan should be written with a pen. This way you can make changes or add new things.
To understand your prospective business you can try to work for someone else for a few months. Only after that you can make your business plan. By doing this you will gain the experience to start a new business. Try to observe what type of clients you will have. This will help you realize where you need to focus more.
Test your product or service before you start. Try to understand your market first. If your product is well received than it's safe to start your new business.
At beginning it's better if you don't need too many people to work for you. Wait fist to see how much profit you can make. In time you can expand your business and hire more people. Choose carefully the people you will hire. They need to have good ethical values. It's also important that they have the perfect skills for the job. Try to hire people you know and admire.
To have financial control you need to learn more things about accounting, computer software and cash flow management. All the businesses are focused around these things. Try to learn as much as possible and you will be able to control your finances better.

On June 28, I was awarded for being one of Vancouver Island's "Top 40 Under 40" at a Gala dinner and ceremony at the Laurel Point Inn in Victoria. It was an honour and a privilege to receive this award and a fab party! So as I sit down to write this, I'm thinking, how many of us women see ourselves as winners and as 'outstanding' in whatever we do in life? I mean, honestly, how many of us truly think we're "all that and a bag of chips"?
While many things pain me greatly, (like the exploitation and destruction of the planet, war, hunger, poverty, etc.), one of the greatest tragedies I see today is girls and women not blossoming and becoming everything that they dream of being and are capable of. If I think about it too much, it makes me cry.
Being a therapist day-in and day-out, I have the blessing of meeting a multitude of bright, talented, and fabulous girls and women who have become somehow 'derailed' from their life's purpose and are instead turning their anger, frustration, and sadness inward and in effect, beating themselves up emotionally (and often physically too, through various addictions and other self-harming behaviours).
I see my job as reminding these people of who they really are and what they're capable of. Women are so wise and brilliant, so why do we so often lose our way and forget why we were put here on earth in the first place? Maybe there isn't a satisfactory answer, but perhaps we can stop doing this and reclaim and own our place in the world? I believe that this is doable and possible and I invite you to do the same.
To get you started in this vein, I want to give you a little bit of FUN homework…
I want you to design an award for yourself- get right into it. If you were to win a single award for something that you are fabulous at and have worked hard to become, what would it be for? If you're stuck, interview your girlfriends and supportive family members and ask them what they think you'd win for.
Secondly, MAKE the award for yourself and have others help you make it. Better yet, do this exercise with a group of other fabulous women who need a boost. You can even frame the awards and conduct a special awards ceremony honouring each other.
And remember, we are all winners!!!!!

I wish that I could say that I am feeling fabulous and "outta site" and full of positive thoughts and feelings right now, but I happen to be an honest person (sometimes to my detriment) and I can't lie well. So how am I REALLY feeling, you ask? CRABBY. I'm being visited by my dear and old friend, PMS, and she's making me feel murderous one minute, and pathetically weep-into-a-hankie sad the next. I'm guessing that wherever you are on the female hormone continuum, you can relate to what I'm talking about. As I write this, I would laugh at a button I have on my desk in front of me (but my present mood doesn't tolerate happiness, let alone a wee chuckle) that says, "PMS- Harness The Energy". So that's exactly what I'm doing by writing this article. And perhaps I can make at least one of you laugh which would be great…
As a woman-centred therapist, I feel that it is my duty to empower and uplift women and to encourage them to become all they dream of being. And I truly believe that us gals cannot be fully empowered and uplifted unless we feel totally free to feel whatever we need to feel at any given moment and to not be ashamed about it. As girls, we learn that 'good girls don't get angry', and that it is somehow "unfeminine" for us to get mad and express it. I wish I could say that this is changing with our younger generation, but sadly, from the work that I do, I see countless young women killing themselves in various ways; internalizing their rage and taking it out on themselves instead of getting mad at society or people in their lives who have controlled, manipulated, violated, and/or abused them. What do I feel when I hear these stories? MAD!
I wish desperately that more of us could embrace our 'inner crab' and let her out when she needs to say something, stand up for something/someone, or express the pain that's underneath her anger. I have come to learn that 'the inner crab' is very wise indeed and can help us lead happier, healthier, and more balanced lives once we learn to tune into her and take her advice.
I don't know about you, but as a young woman, whenever I expressed crabbiness or anger, I was immediately shut down by the adults in my life. I was shamed and called, "moody", "disagreeable", "unladylike", or "uncooperative".
It didn't stop there either. Still, as a woman, I get called names any time I'm not "nice" or "compliant" and it really makes me mad. In fact, the more I get judged for being crabby, the crabbier I become. Same for many women I know. So what's the solution?
EMBRACE YOUR INNER CRAB AND LISTEN TO WHAT SHE IS TELLING YOU!
Often, when we're crabby, it's a sign that someone has crossed a personal boundary we have. This can be a good thing because sometimes we are unaware of our boundaries until they are crossed. Once we know our boundaries, we can enforce them and stop letting people walk all over us, and thus, become less crabby in the long run because we won't be feeling so resentful so much of the time.
Plus, when we stop fighting feeling crabby, and just let ourselves feel as crabby as we want, the feeling usually goes away much faster because it's been given the airtime and release it needed. Sometimes we're crabby because of certain circumstances in our lives and sometimes it's just raging hormones and there ain't a lot we can do about it. The thing to remember is that feelings are just feelings and they don't last forever. If you're in such a crabby mood that you can't see it ending, remind yourself that 'this too shall pass' and that you'll feel better soon.
But while you're riding the waves of crabbiness, try one or some, or all of the following to get through to the other side where rainbows and pots of gold await you…
Esther's Top 5 Tips to Embracing Your Inner Crab
1. Go with it and stop fighting how you're feeling
2. Follow these two important rules while you're in the throws of crabbiness: don't hurt yourself or anyone/thing else.
3. Let your anger out in healthy ways like: intense exercise, shouting in your car with the windows rolled up (not when you're driving), punching pillows, writing all the vicious thoughts you're having out on paper and destroying them afterwards, "venting" to a caring person who realises that it's healthy to let off some steam once in a while.
4. After you've let out your anger, nurture yourself by doing nice things like having a bath, petting an animal, getting a massage, or doing some yoga and/or meditation.
5. You'll probably move into feeling sad and weepy after you've released your anger, as sadness is often what is beneath the surface of our crabbiness. Let yourself have a good cry- let it out. You'll feel a whole lot lighter and freer afterwards.

People who are serious about search engine optimization and online marketing realize the importance of having a timely, relevant and precise data that allows them to respond to search engine behaviour immediately. Having direct access to website traffic statistics allows for "on the fly" page optimisation to maximize current positive search engine behaviour.
There are numerous free and commercially available website statistics packages. They are good in providing historical data, but often lack functionality to provide real time data. In other words, while you can see your website traffic statistics for yesterday, you have no clue on who is visiting the site right now.
Raw Log Files
When choosing a web hosting provider for your blog or company web site it is absolutely critical that the package include direct access to web site access and error log files. Normally these are stored inside your FTP home directory or can be accessed from within a control panel. It should be possible to open these log files in a text editor and see web site statistics from the start of the log (normally log files are rotated nightly) to the current time – right to the moment when the file is opened.
What To Look For
While error logs will show all errors that appeared on your site, such as missing files, broken images or generic web server errors, access log files will show all the details of your web site visitors. These include the IP address, browser type, server response code (eg, 404 for missing pages or 200 for successful access etc.), and visit referrer details, the last one being the most important piece of information, showing where the visit came from, what keywords were used and so on. To make the job easier, you could search for text string "search" or "search?" and find all leads that came from organic search engine search results.
What To Do With It
While there will be key phrases that you would normally expect to lead to your site. These would be the search terms that your site is optimised for. You can leave these alone – don't touch something that already works well. What you need to examine, though, is the new key phrases that you didn't expect or didn't predict to hit your web site.
Copy the referrer search string back into a web browser and see for yourself what position your web site is on the result page and who your competitors are. Click on the link for your site and see what page it lands (It is important to note here importance of not using the browser's back button to go back to the search engine. It can be interpreted in a way that the search term was irrelevant to your page and you could be penalised by pushing your site down the search result list).
Next, examine your page how it ended up getting that organic lead. Take advantage of this key phrase, create other pages using the search term as an anchor text and link it back to this page. While you have the lead – use it to your advantage.
Use raw log files information to your benefit. Optimize your web site now, while it's hot. Then use conventional web statistics package to see a global picture on what happened in retrospective.

If you are new to share trading, putting the pieces together can be quite challenging in determining where to start and how the whole share trading system works. The following steps may point beginners in a right direction. However, bear to mind that this is not legal advice. Use this information at your own risk.
Where to start in share trading?
To start trading on Australian stock market (ASX), you need an online trading account with a broker (eg, ComSec or eTrade), a cash management account that is linked to this account, a minimum $500 for the initial purchase, and some common sense.
If you happen to be already with Commonwealth bank, it make sense to setup a trading account with ComSec. This can be done online, but requires printing out the forms and sending them to the bank manually, in order to verify your signature and other details. The bank will then email you your login details and post the share trading account terms and conditions.
Once you are able to login, you will need to transfer some funds to the cash management account connected to ComSec. You will need to check what is the minimum trading amount and brokerage fee – this information is available on their website.
What share stock to buy?
There are two ways to invest. Invest long into blue chip companies (large stable corporations) or invest short into start-ups or smaller companies.
If you are prepared to wait and prefer to avoid risk, investing in blue chip companies may be a better option. Your stock will not grow fast, but it will grow. The goal here is to get a better return than you would normally get from keeping your cash in a high interest bank account.
However, if you are keen to really test out high return investment possibilities, investing in a least known companies may do the trick. In the current economic environment there are many companies with share price below 1 cent. If the share price goes up to 1 or 2 cents, it means that you'll get 100-200% return on your investment. And if often happens in one day.
What to look out for?
Your online share trading account will provide you with real time share prices and historical data for listed companies. Before investing in a specific company it is suggested to collect sufficient amount of data suggesting immediate price growth or at least, price growth in the near future.
There are some indicators that normally suggest that:
First, it is suggested to review historical graphs. It is absolutely paramount to establish a high probability that the company is able to deliver better results in the near future. It is important to check what level the share price got to in the past and then research what company actually did during that time.
Second, it is suggested to review the company's past and recent stock market announcement. ASX listed companies are obliged to disclose all information that affects the share price. These include various financial statement, annual reports and operational and exploration plans and results. Compare the graphs to the stock market announcements. Once you determine a pattern, all you'll need to do is to wait for a similar announcement, invest right away and they see if the company behaves the same way it did in the past.

I want to talk with you gals about that much-touted, not-so-easy to obtain, pop-psychology all-star concept; self-esteem. We all want to know:
What is it?
How do I get me some of that?
How do I make it stay?
In this article, I'm going to attempt to begin addressing these questions to get you thinking, questioning, and hopefully, moving forward to answering them for yourself.
In terms of what self-esteem is, I have found a few definitions by doing a web-search for the term. Here they are:
Feelings of self-worth stemming from the individual's positive or negative beliefs about being valuable and capable a feeling of pride in yourself dignity: the quality of being worthy of esteem or respect
I'd say those are pretty good definitions and quite straightforward. If only it were as easy to HAVE self-esteem as it is to define it! I wish I could tell you that I was one of those women who treats low-self-esteem like a ridiculous practical joke and just laughs it away while I constantly feel fabulous, brilliant, beautiful, and at "the top of my game", but I'd be lying and I am really bad at lying and the guilt obtained from lying would decrease my self-esteem further, which is something I don't need at the moment.
Yes, I have moments of feeling like I can take on the world and dance around the kitchen singing "WOMAN" at the top of my lungs along with the CD, only to catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror to observe that, "wow- don't I look fabulous today?" Then I have a great day at work and really get it that I'm helping people to live better lives and I give myself the old pat on the back for a job well done…
Those are the good days…
On the bad days, I have what I call "low self-esteem attacks" wherein I temporarily forget who I am, what I do for the world, and what is good about me. And I know I'm not the only one because every day I hear stories from my clients about the exact same phenomenon. When I have positive self-esteem myself I look at these amazing women in front of my eyes who think they're "nothing", "stupid", and "ugly" and I want to jump up out of my chair and scream, "Who told you these horrible lies about yourself?! None of it is true! You're brilliant, magnificent, and fabulous and have so much to contribute to the world!"
But, being the 'good therapist', I wipe the horror off my face and do my best to appear emotionally neutral and help them come to their own conclusions; in their own time. And I know that as a woman, it's useless to tell another woman over and over again just how great she is and why I admire her. While it's great to be reminded in our low times, we also need to work on remembering how fabulous we really are all on our own and not become dependent on hearing it from other people so much of the time.
Why is this so hard for so many of us? I have seen lots of women out there who really are convincing when they say that they don't care what other people think about them, but I'm not so sure they're being totally honest. I mean, is there one woman out there who has NEVER given a damn about what someone thought of her? If there is, I want to meet her and get her recipe for high self-esteem!
To end this brief thinking-out-loud session about women and self-esteem, I'd like to leave you with some tips on how to boost your self-esteem when you're having a "low self-esteem attack":
Write down all the negative things you're thinking about yourself on one side of a piece of paper, and on the other side, counter them with evidence to the contrary. For example, if you write, "I can't present myself professionally in public", you may counter it with, "Yes I can. I did a great job when I did the _______ presentation at work last week and people commented on how professional and organized I was."
Call a woman who is less prone to "low self-esteem attacks" (I always call my mother!) and ask her to remind you who you are because you've temporarily forgotten…then have a good laugh and ask her how she's doing.
When in the midst of a "LSEA", seek upliftment (is that a word?) from strong, you-go-girl women who make you feel like you can do anything and take on the world. For example, you may have a favourite female singer who tells it like it is and makes you feel powerful. I don't know about you, but every time I listen to Aretha Franklin belting out, "RESPECT" or "THINK", my self-esteem rises considerably.
And lastly, if all else fails, PRAY! Pray to who/whatever you believe in that has 'higher power energy' to help you let go of 'playing small' and to send you some reminders of your real self. Pray in earnest and then wait to be pleasantly surprised!

Article marketing is probably the most effective link building strategy on the World Wide Web. Yet, It is also one that is the most under used. Most marketers just will not do it. Their claims vary, saying I'm no writer, I can't think of anything to say, I'm new and don't know anything!
Let's say the reasons above happen to be true.
They overlook the obvious alternatives.
With everybody and their brother hustling Private Label Articles on the web for as little as $29.95 for a hundred or more pre written articles there is no reason you can't pick up some of these packages, rewrite them and claim them as your own. You may even find packages for alot less. It's just a matter of weeding out the junk from the better articles. Making sure the article content is valid. The return on your initial investment will be significant in terms of the backlinks you'll recieve.
A couple of really good PLR article sites that come to mind and have used myself are http://PushButtonHealth.com and http://InfoGoRound.com. Once you've been a member and developed some writing skills you can submit your own articles to http://InfoGoRound.com which takes care of your monthly membership fee.
Those backlinks are food for the search engine spyders. You'll recieve those backlinks to your site by utilizing the main resource of your article. That being your author bio or resource box at the bottom of your article. This is what the search engine spyders feed on. This is where your backlinks originate.
There are alot of marketers that don't utilize this resource to its full advantage, myself included. I'd previously been led to believe that in order to make money writing articles all I needed to do was write an article and put a link to whatever affiliate program I was promoting in the resource box and watch the sales pour in. It wasn't happening. And I wasn't getting any traffic to my main website. Any and all traffic was going to the generic affiliate page. Raising their ranking and leaving my site as a virtual unknown.
The purpose of the article's resource box is to create backlinks to my main site via the anchor text I use to point to that site. It is what the search spyders use to categorize, classify and identify your site. Let me clarify that.
Let's say you've got a Dog Grooming Site and you've written an article on that Topic. Your resource box should contain anchor text targeting the keywords you want to be categorized under. Like so,

The rule of thumb here is this: The more sites you have pointing to your site, The more traffic your going to get from the search engines. The site with the most backlinks wins. Meaning the best placement in search results for your given niche.
Pretty simple, wouldn't you say? More Articles = More Backlinks = More Traffic!
You'll be able to build a list of targeted subscribers to your newsletter, make affiliate sales, sign up people to your membership site or MLM program. Your options will be only limited by your imagination.
I cannot guarantee if you submit 5 articles to a hundred directories, you'll get 500 back links! I can guarantee that if you do, you'll have more than if you did nothing.
