There are many places online where we can meet people and lots of places actually offer us a way to contact old school friends. You can make these people your online friends by adding them. This can be done via a social network website where you can create a profile that only your friends can see. You can search for people you know and get them to become your friend. This will allow you to find people you used to go to school with as well as people you work with, other friends and family members.

When you want to get in touch with school friends and make online friends you can also make this for a specific purpose. It could be to organize a school reunion, or it might be important to invite them to a wedding. You might want to promote your new business and let your old friends know about it. This is a kind of marketing tool.

Even if you have not spoken to some of these friends since school, and it can be elementary school even, you will be able to catch up and chat when you are online friends. You can send each other private messages, and usually there is a public space where you can make comments. This will also allow you to find other people you might have known through your school friends' friends.

When you are interested to get hold of school friends for a reunion or other event, it can be a lot easier to manage everyone in a social networking site. Here you can post photos and speak to many people at once, and it is far quicker and more fun than email.

Most people have these social networking profiles set up and they can all be linked through networks. This is where you can usually find a group of old school friends. They can also be networked according to location and the place of work.

Whatever your reason for wanting to get in touch with these school friends, you can easily do it online through these websites. There are many different social networks and you can find the most popular one quite easily. You will probably know hundreds of people that are already have profiles.

When you do a search you will also come up with the top website that is perfect for social networking and getting back in touch with long lost family members and friends. With so many different applications this website might seem complicated, but the main aim is to allow people to chat to each other about anything and just have fun.

You can reconnect with people from your past and you can all interact as a group no matter where you are in the world. After school many friends move away, go overseas, attend university, and get married. People start to drift away from each other, but luckily these social networks actually help people to stay close and learn more about each other's new lives.

If you have a problem in your bedroom that sends your partner to sleep in the lounge, then you might want to take a look at the cause and try to find it. If you snore then you might have a condition called sleep Apnea and this can be quite annoying and actually cause more problems later on. It will prevent you from sleeping properly and you can develop other health problems. So, you should try to stop snoring with a snoring cure of some kind.

There are tons of remedy websites that offers great advice about snoring and how to stop. These can involve some herbal treatments and then you can also get the online stores that provide special snoring cures that have been manufactured by doctors.

When you suffer from this condition it can really affect your relationships. This is why you should do something about it while you can. The sleep Apnea is a condition that actually causes you to stop breathing for a second or two while you sleep. This cause you to snore and it can also be quite dangerous.

When you snore from this sleep Apnea you can easily stop when you cure the sleep apnea. Most of the time the blockage is caused in the central airway, but sometimes it can also be caused by the brain not functioning correctly.

To stop snoring you can use special patches and take pills, but as long as the apnea is still there you will probably continue to snore. The sleep Apnea is something not to be taken lightly and if you have been snoring then you might have it and not even realize. If you snore then you should go to see your doctor to be diagnosed.

With sleep Apnea there are many dangers including disability and death. When you have this condition you will rarely go into deep sleep which will make you very tired during the day. Those with sleep apnea start to snore because of the air trying to pass the blockage that has occurred in the airway.

Looking at the causes, sleep Apnea is common among overweight people due to the pressure being placed on the airway. Some people have this condition so badly that they have to wear a ventilation mask when they sleep to keep their airway open.

When you snore it means that your sleep Apnea might not be that bad yet, but you have to get it seen to before it gets worse. A bad case is caused when there is a complete blockage and you cannot breathe at all. The airway might be collapsed or blocked in the nasal cavity, throat, nose, or mouth. When this happens our bodies start to wake up and this disrupts our sleep patterns which in turn can also make the snoring worse. When you want to find a snoring cure you will have to first cure the sleep Apnea and this can mean that you might have to have surgery depending on how bad it is.

The Tour de France is the world's grandest bicycle race in the world, spanning more than 2,200 miles of French countryside. Professional cyclists around the world consider travel to France to take part in the race as their biggest stage in their cycling careers. It is the one cycling event where media outlets deliver the event to millions of watching cycling fans.

The Tour de France lasts for twenty-three days. Each stage of the race features picturesque French towns that represent the beauty of the countryside. Many of the tourists go on holidays to watch the race and enjoy the French countryside. In some years, the race routes cross the border of Spain or Italy. You can find generous travel packages that can take you to a wide variety of destinations. Tour de France packages are the best way to reserve hotel rooms near the race route.

There are many reasons why this race is considered the most prestigious cycling race in the world. For one, it is the oldest bicycle race in the world. No other cycling tour predated the Tour de France, so we can say that all the rules, legs, and events of cycling tours originated from this race. It is also the most grueling race and the most mentally demanding race of any athletic event. Cyclists have to ride the steep Alps and go through meandering roads to finish the race.

Tour packages for the Tour de France are very popular during the French summer. These tours usually have arrangements for group accommodations partnered with the top chain hotels in the country. Extensive packages also offer booking from independent and family-run hotels.

The race passes through the top destinations in the country like Marseille. Marseille is one of the top tourist cities in France and the second largest city next to Paris. Although it may not possess the romantic attraction of Paris, you will find a real sense of happiness in the city. Meanwhile Montpellier is a great town for short hikes and outdoor activities. You can find different markets in the streets of Montpellier selling clothes and food.

The principality of Monaco is another highlight of the Tour de France route. Monaco is situated between the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea. This country greets the tours' guests with great food and endearing camaraderie. Other top tourist destinations highlighted by the Tour de France include Barcelona, Brignoles, Besancon, and Annensy.

So, what is this all about? Next time you watch Tour de France on tv, see if you like the villages and regions where the tour is taking place. This is a unique opportunity to take notes and make decisions where you'd like to go next. The way this cycling event is filmed is rather remarkable. There are many people out there who watch the tour to make their next trip's itinerary. It doesn't matter if you get to Europe this year. As long as you know where you'd like to go, you can always get there next year when the travel prices are cheaper.

When it comes to shopping for cheap engagement rings, there is no reason to sacrifice quality just because you are looking for a bargain. Therefore, this article will focus on 5 ways that you can find the perfect ring at the perfect price without paying a pretty penny.

Buy Cubic Zirconia. To the naked eye, cubic zirconia looks exactly like an eye clean flawless diamond when, in reality, it is a created stone made to imitate its genuine competition. Although they are manmade, cubic zirconia is one of the most highly sought after choices in cheap engagement rings not because they look inexpensive, but because their manmade nature allows them to be affordable. Available in every cut, color and carat weight as one would expect to find in a natural diamond, cubic zirconia rings are both economical and breathtakingly beautiful.

Choose Sterling Silver. Classified as a precious metal, sterling silver is one that will always have value. Like gold and platinum, this metal is considered among the most valued and appreciated in the world of jewelry. Of these, sterling silver is the most affordable. It's icy white coloration is slightly different than platinum, but very much resembles white gold. Because it is also a strong metal and one that will remain with the wearer for years, sterling silver is among the more popular settings in cheap engagement rings.

Shop Online. When it comes to saving money, there is no better place to shop than the internet. Online retailers are in constant competition with one another in terms of both selection and price. As a consumer, this means a wider product availability at a greater savings that you may find at your local jeweler. As you browse the endless see of retailers, consider the notion that you are in a virtual shopping mall where the possibilities are endless. Almost Diamonds, a popular online retailer specializing in cubic zirconia, offers a large selection and remains one of the more well-known virtual shops for wedding jewelry.

Shop On Sale. The best time to buy many items is when they are marked down. Why? Because you can often save a considerable amount of money when a retailer attempts to clearance their remaining inventory of a particular item. When it comes to cheap engagement rings, shopping on sale is one of the best ways to save. The only concern is whether or not the size you need will still be in stock by the time an item goes on clearance. Because of this, it is recommended that you check with your favorite online jewelry retailer on a regular basis in order to stay abreast of their clearance and/or sale section.

Save With Retailer Discounts & Coupons. As a new customer, online retailers often offer a discount on your first purchase. In addition, signing up for an e-newsletter often entitles you to special insider coupons and savings that the everyday web surfer may not receive. When you shop online, be sure to ask about discounts or special deals for first-time customers and read up on the company's newsletter offerings. If you are in the market for cheap engagement rings, there is no better way to find a bargain than by adding an additional savings onto an already low price that you will likely find at your favorite online jewelry retailer.

Well, the holidays are over and you're probably feeling generally burned out by all the excess- too much socializing, too much family, too much food and drink, too much money spent…and the list goes on. The holidays, while mostly enjoyable, can also bring about a real 'letdown' feeling when they're over. We often feel blue, out-of-sorts, and lacking direction and focus. So what do we do to feel more 'together' and 'in control' after such a time? We make resolutions! You know the drill: I will lose 10 pounds in the next three months, I will be kinder to my partner, I'll stick to a strict budget, etc.

Well, I've got another one to add to your New Year's Resolutions list and it's number one on mine and that is:

I WILL BE MORE POSITIVE IN MY THINKING IN ORDER TO ATTRACT WHAT I REALLY WANT.

Did I make this idea up? I wish…No, this concept is filtering into all of our brains on a daily basis and is 'all the rage' these days. It's trendy. It's fashionable. And yes, it can lead to the attainment of a fabulous wardrobe. And that's not all…

The entire concept solidified for me the other night while watching a film a colleague loaned me called, "The Secret" (you can find it online at: http://thesecret.tv/home.html). While very Hollywood and at times, downright cheesy, the basic message is very good. In short, it's all about "the law of attraction" which states that what we focus on in our minds is what we get. I utilise this concept extensively in my self-help book, "Dump That Chump" (http://www.dumpthatchump.com) to help women let go of toxic relationship patterns and attract their ideal partner. In short, what we tell ourselves about what is possible for us to attain, is what we draw to us.

For example, if we believe that all men are jerks and that they really do come from Mars; that's the kind of guys we'll attract. On the other hand, if we believe that there is a multitude of decent, kind, loving, and emotionally available men out there just waiting to meet someone fabulous like ourselves, those are the kind of guys that we'll attract. I like how Marianne Williamson, an expert on the Course In Miracles puts it: She says that we essentially send out psychic 'radar' to potential partners letting them know what and who we're looking for and that "when we get serious, the Universe takes us seriously."

Other great thinkers call it, "being in the flow"; you know that feeling when you're doing what you love and everything is just so easy and seems to fall into place and you feel warm and fuzzy inside and feel connected to everything and everyone around you…that's what I'm talking about. That's exactly the feeling I have right now as I write this. I feel lit up inside, thrilled about sharing what I know with others, totally connected to my purpose, and knowing deep in my heart that I am using the gifts the Creator gave me. It's a fabulous feeling and a lot better for my health than a chocolate bar!

I'm sure you've had similar moments and my guess is that you want to have more of them. We all do. How can it be done, you ask? BY CHANGING OUR THINKING. You see, we learn a lot of things in school, but something sadly lacking in the curriculum is how to think properly. I feel that as a society, the majority of us suffer from what they call in 12-step groups, "stinking thinking". We are constantly telling ourselves negative things about who we are and what we can achieve. A lot of this is unconscious and we don't even realise we're doing it. I mean, who in their right mind would consciously sabotage themselves hundreds of times a day and continue to feel unfulfilled and not get what they really want out of life?

Examples of stinking thinking I hear every day from clients are things like:

"I know my partner treats me badly, but all guys are like that".

"I really want to work for myself and get out of this horrible job I'm in and do what I'm really passionate about, but that's not realistic- I have bills to pay."

"I've always wanted to take dance lessons but I totally suck at dancing and I'm too old now to do that anyway."

And what do we end up getting when we put such messages out to the Universe? Exactly what we put out there. In The Secret, they say that we create our own reality through our thoughts- this is not a new idea as many famous philosophers, scientists, and mystics have been saying this for thousands of years. And yet, so many of us ignore this basic truth and keep ourselves stuck by 'playing small' in life and not asking for too much. God forbid, we should be successful, happy, healthy, and full of love.

I know this way of being all too well as I come from a family and a culture where suffering is almost next to Godliness. The fodder for most conversation focuses on how bad one's health is, or the horrible state of the world and how uncaring the human race is, etc. I soaked up these messages very early on and walked around with my head down, being ever so serious (I'm still working on that one), and feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders.

But lately, I've had an epiphany and that is that my suffering and focusing on the negatives doesn't help myself or anyone else live a better life, clean up the environment, stop wars and killing, or end poverty. It just ends up depressing the hell out of me (and everyone around me) and leaves me feeling hopeless and apathetic. When you're feeling depressed and hopeless, chances are you're not going to have much 'get up and go' to change things for the positive on a global level.

I find that an old adage comes in very handy for bringing about the positive changes we desire in ourselves and in the world around us and that is: FAKE IT TIL YOU MAKE IT. Act as if you have whatever it is you want RIGHT NOW even in the face of contrary evidence. Your brain doesn't know the difference- it believes what you tell it to be true.

In this vein, I leave some homework to start off your New Year on a positive and affirming note:

On an index card, write down five positive affirmations to attract things you want in your life and write them as if they have already manifested in your life. For example, "I am fit and healthy. Every day I become healthier and stronger in my body and my mind."

Read your affirmations out loud once in the morning upon awakening and once before bed so they set your day and then summarize your day and soak deeply into your unconscious.

Do this for three months and see what happens! You'll be amazed.

    Happy thinking!

Do you have school friends with whom you have lost contact? Perhaps after school you went different directions and it has been a few years so now you would like to find that old friend an relive a few of the old times or just check up on the friend. Here is how to Find Your Old School Friends.

One way that is working for many people is social networking. Through web sites like Facebook and MySpace, old friends are meeting up and re-establishing relationships.

Many of the social networking sites allow you to search for friends by school and by the year they graduated. You can search for your old high school or college. Once you have found the probable match, you send a friend request and if the old friend accepts the request, then you are able to reconnect.

In order to use these network sites, you must first have an account on the site. It is easy to set up the account and you can choose how much information you want to share. Social networking was first used by the younger crowd, but not it seems the over fifties have started a take over. It is very likely that at least a few of your old school friends are now on one of the network.

Another advantage of the networks is that often after you find one friend, you will find many more. The sites allow you to see who your friend's friends are and send friend requests to them.

If you do not find your particular friend in this way, then many of the sites allow you to search by name for your friend. This is particularly useful if your friend has just signed up for an account but not added other information. It is helpful if your friend has added a photograph, but this may not always be the case. You may just have to weed out the people that you know are not your friend.

If you end up with three or four people with the name that may be the name of your friend, then send a friend request to all of them. If they do not end up being the friend, you can always delete them from your friend list.

Another way to find friends is to look on the social networking sites for parents or siblings of the friend. Often once you have become friends, you will have access to e-mail addresses or phone numbers. Then it is a simple matter to send an e-mail or make a phone call to find contact information.

If you are from a small town, there are often fan clubs of the town. Join one of the fan clubs and you may be able to contact people that can steer you in the right direction to find that old friend.

Social networking is all about bringing people together. Why not use this very powerful tool so that you can find old school friends? Who knows? Perhaps you will meet up again with an old high school flame and start a budding new romance.

Article Title: Cubic Zirconia Engagement Rings: All Things Considered

Whether you are ready to pop the question to that special someone or you are updating an already existing design, cubic zirconia engagement rings are both affordable and beautiful. Whether you prefer a round, marquise, oval, princess or other gemstone cut, you will find it all in this flawless eye clean stone. Although it is a created stone, cubic zirconia is nothing short of spectacular. Designed to imitate a perfect diamond, this manmade creation is ideal for wedding jewelry.

As you consider which cubic zirconia engagement rings are among your favorite, think about how they will look with a band ring when paired as a wedding set. Traditionally, one band would sit flat against the next one to create the perfect look. While shopping, think about the overall style of the band and which type of wedding ring will be complimentary. If it's a polished ring, for instance, a polished wedding band may be the best match. If the setting features stones along the side, perhaps an anniversary style ring would be perfect.

Speaking of wedding sets, it's important to decide whether or not you wish to purchase just the ring by itself or you would rather purchase a 2-pc. wedding set and save the band for when you are married. In this scenario, you would break up the set by wearing the engagement ring upon your engagement and later add the band at your wedding. This will ensure that you have a matching set, but will also be slightly more expensive than single cubic zirconia engagement rings.

Now that you have an idea as to whether you want just the engagement ring or would prefer to purchase a complete wedding set, its time to consider what type of style will best suit your taste and budget. As mentioned earlier, cubic zirconia engagement rings are available in a variety of stone cuts, including round, marquise, oval, princess, etc. Any style and cut that is available in diamond rings will likely be available in cubic zirconia, which gives the wearer a very expensive look at a very reasonable price.

When it comes to shopping for cubic zirconia engagement rings, the retailer that you choose is extremely important in determining not only the selection available to you but also the price that you will ultimately pay. If you shop online, you are more likely to find a larger variety of both styles and sizes, but also may find a more competitive price than you will see at your local jeweler. As you shop, keep in mind that the retailer you choose should be knowledgeable of cubic zirconia engagement rings, metal options and carry a good selection from which to choose. In addition, be sure to check out the company's return policy, customer service reputation and product guarantee. Almost Diamonds, one popular retailer specializing in cubic zirconia jewelry, is well known for their wide variety of products and competitive prices. With companies like this, the internet remains a popular and economical place to shop.

One of the most important things that would help in improving the economy and the state of a country is the business activity that is done in the country. Every country encourages people to start new businesses. People start a lot of new businesses and in this way try to earn wealth and money for their living. Business is a very difficult thing to do and don't start a new business without a business plan.

It's not possible for everyone who involved in a business can succeed. There are some qualities that a person must have in order to be successful in a business. He should have the correct business plan in his mind.

The most important characteristics that a business person should have are the ability to plan the working in a very good manner. In order to start a business the person must first create a business plan. One should not start a new business without a business plan.

A business plan has various advantages attached to it. It is a very good tool to present your business activity in a very understandable form. It provides various details about the business.

Business plan also helps in planning market research properly. Market research provides answer to the requirement for the product that need to be produced. Business plan also helps in deal how to challenge the competitors that are present in the market.

The financial aspects of the business too are very well explained in a business plan. The various material i. E. The raw material that are required for the business. The machines that are required for the production of the product too are to be decided. The cost associated with these materials.

The depreciation technique is used to find the depreciating value of the machine. The way in which the capital for the business is to be accumulated and things of this kind is very well given in a business plan. The layout of the production area and the production technology to be used in the manufacturing process can be planned easily in business plan. The number of people needs to work in the industry also present in a business plan.

When a person fails to prepare a business plan for the business then it creates many problems to his business. Even he won't be able to decide with clarity how much money is needed for each and every activity in business. Moreover the person can't be able to decide the activities that are to be proceeding over in the business to generate profit. More over if a person approaches a financial institution to provide him with a loan for the business to be carried out; the bank would provide him with a loan only on him by preparing a very good business plan of the business activity that is to be established in the market. It is always good to be well prepared before starting any thing new. It is therefore appropriate to create a business plan to foresee the needs of a business to be undertaken.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

It has always been a tradition to present a nice ring when asking for the hand of the woman who you want to marry. The kneeling down on one knee, presenting the engagement ring and asking her to marry you will make things far more romantic and memorable. Now, the question is: Do you really need to spend a whole lot of money for the engagement ring?

A lot of rules have been said about choosing the right engagement ring. One rule that has caused massive headache to a lot of men is that the engagement ring has to be worth three months of their salary. Okay, so that would be subjective. If you got a big salary, that means you could buy a jaw dropping and expensive ring. What if you have a tight budget for the ring? Should you postpone the entire engagement just because you have limited cash for the ring? Here comes the part when fake engagement rings can actually solve your problem.

Fake engagement ring does not really refer to low quality rings that easily tarnish and get deformed. It actually points out to rings that are simply not as expensive as diamond engagement rings. That is why fake engagement rings are best called as alternative engagement rings. Those are the ones made of non-traditional metals and unconventional gems or rocks.

The primary advantage of alternative engagement rings is that you do not have to go broke just to buy it. You really do not need to max out your card or get a loan just to buy an engagement ring. Do not start your future together with a bad debt. All you really need to do is find an unconventional engagement ring that will fit your budget, look fabulous and still reflect the personality of the woman that you would like to marry.

The type of metal is the first aspect that you should look into. There are other options aside from gold and silver. You can consider metals like titanium. This will also last for a very long time. It also looks elegant and classy. It can give you the durability that you need for an engagement ring but it costs way less than gold or platinum. There are also stainless steel rings that look just as stylish as platinum but costs only a fraction.

Traditionally, engagement rings mean diamonds. If you are working on a tight budget, might as well cancel the idea of getting diamonds. There are far too many rocks that are available in the market. More contemporary rocks like cubic zirconia can give the same brilliance as diamond but it costs whole lot less.

Another thing that you need to remember when looking for engagement ring is that you have to be patient enough to research and look into what the different stores offer. Do not just explore the nearby jewelry stores. You might also want to check out the online jewelry shops because those sites offer a whole lot of options for engagement rings. These rings are great choices and your future wife may even praise you for being practical and wise in making decisions.

Oh, if only there were a simple answer to heartbreak. Alas, I have yet to find one. After witnessing countless women's journeys on the road to healing from a hurtful love affair, the conclusion that I've come to is that 'the only way out is through.' This, dear reader, is probably NOT the answer you were looking for. However, I'm a big believer in dealing with reality and not seeking simple solutions to complex problems.

When a healthy intimate relationship ends, the pain can feel unbearable at times. But when a hurtful, or abusive, relationship ends, not only are you dealing with the loss of the relationship; you've also got to heal from the trauma of the abuse. I'm not sure if the relationship in question was abusive or not because I don't have enough information to go on, but for the purposes of this column, I'm going to assume that it wasn't in order to simplify things. Please forgive me if I got it wrong. If it was abusive, I strongly recommend that you seek psychotherapy with someone who specializes in healing from abuse as this is a very delicate matter that needs professional help.

So, in terms of healing from a relationship where there wasn't abuse per se, but it just didn't work due to other reasons (there can be many), I will state again that THE ONLY WAY OUT IS THROUGH. What I mean by that is that you have to allow yourself to go through the grieving process until you're done. There's no strict formula here for what that should look like or how long it should take, but in general, there are definite stages of grief. I've taken the following from Elizabeth Kubler-Ross' book, "On Death and Dying." In it, she outlines five stages that a dying person experiences when they are told they are dying.

    The stages identified are:

    · Denial

    · Anger

    · Bargaining

    · Depression

    · Acceptance

Even though these stages were developed for people who are terminally ill; experience throughout the years has shown that they are equally applicable to many other forms of loss and grief. So when a relationship ends, for example, you may go into denial and scream, "this can't be happening to me!"

Soon after that, you may explode with anger and think, "Why is this happening to me?" You may blame your ex, yourself, or even God for the end of the relationship. This can be especially intense if your partner cheated on you. You may be enraged at the unfairness of it all and want to punish him/her and the person they cheated with. Then comes the bargaining stage where you're in so much pain after the break-up, that you're willing to do anything in order to get that person back and you shriek, "I promise I'll be a better person if you'll just come back to me."

Then, you're hit with the proverbial "blues." This is when you're favourite place in your home is your freezer and you frequently go there for a tub of Haagan Dazs (and NOT the low-fat kind either!) Billie Holiday records are also extremely handy at this stage, as are countless bubble baths in which you soak your tired body, cry a river of tears (all while listening to Billie on the stereo and consuming ice cream- a sort of emotional 'multitasking', if you like). Then, alas, the tears start to dry up, you don't feel so crumby, and you start to notice the good things in life again. This final stage, the one you've earned through going through all of the preceding stages and surviving, is called, "acceptance." This is when you pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back on the saddle of life with a renewed sense of hope, some understanding, a dose of personal growth, and even a sense of humour. Even though I've never had children, I'm imagining that this stage is like JUST AFTER YOU'VE GIVEN BIRTH, and you almost forget how painful it all was and can see that it was all worth it.

To all of you who are trying to heal from a broken heart, I hope that at least some of what I've shared here helps.

Here's a not-so-secret secret: the market is getting tired of the usual eBooks and special reports that promises the most revolutionary information. They want something new… something more… something that they could actually respond to. And it becomes an Internet marketer's challenge to come up with novel products that would excite a market slowly sinking to indifferent stupor.

And the most encouraging product types that have been invented in recent months are video products. Yes, video that you could actually watch from your monitor screen. Video that is accompanied by audio commentaries, which seek to inform, if not to entertain.

There are many reasons why video products are better than written works, which have become passé after a decade or so.

    * People respond more to what they could see and hear, rather than what they could merely read.

    * People are more stimulated with what they get to enjoy watching.

    * Some information which cannot be clearly conveyed with written works can actually be demonstrated with video presentations.

    * Video presentations present information in a clearer, and often, more concise manner.

    * Video presentations are viewed as more professional products compared to their counterparts.

Indeed, video products are easily better options compared to conventional varieties. But the problem that most Internet marketers experience with this medium is the seemingly complicated process involved in their creation. This, however, should not be the case. With the right knowledge on how to proceed, you'd realize the creating a video product is easier than baking an apple pie.

Let's take a look at the essential steps.

    1. Select a subject you want to tackle, preferably a subject you are already familiar with.

    2. Select a particular aspect of that topic which you will want to discuss. It should be something engaging and helpful for your future customers.

    3. Prepare an outline of how you will discuss the said aspect of the subject.

    4. Do your research.

    5. If your subject involves a certain niche, get a digital camcorder and record the appropriate material. You may choose to add your audio in real time, that is, while you're filming your footage, or later on, during the editing process.

    6. If your subject involves online affairs, download the screen capture program at http://www.camtasia.com. This would allow you to capture your computer screen's movements in .avi format. Camtasia would also allow you to record the audio in real time, or you may prepare a different audio file via Windows Sound Recorder and synchronize both formats later on.

    7. Edit the materials using a video editing software program. There are many of these for sale, but if you want something readily available, Windows XP comes with a movie maker program already.

    8. If you will offer your video product for download, convert your file into .wmv format to compress its size.

    9. If you choose physical delivery, burn your video product on CDs or DVDs, and prepare them for shipping.

    10. Then you could market your product already.

Nothing is complicated about it. Creating your own video product is indeed that simple. Anyone could do it, actually. And the applications for this type of creation are amazingly diverse.

    * You could add video components to your sales page to increase your response rate.

    * You could offer downloadable video lessons to increase consumer confidence.

    * Instead of preparing a written manual, you could demonstrate what is needed to be done with a software product you're offering through a series of videos that can be packaged with your item.

The possibilities are endless. The above examples are just a sampling of the many doors that video products can open for you. If you want to favorably position yourself in the online marketing field, do consider creating your own video products as soon as possible.

Article Title: Vintage Style Rings Take a Step Back in Time With Modern Elegance

For some, jewelry is a statement. For others, it is a symbol. For everyone, jewelry is a treasure. No matter your age or fashion sense, vintage style rings can take a modern design and add a twist from yesteryear that anyone can admire. By definition, the term 'vintage' is used to describe something that is of a certain era or, most often, something that is classic.

As is the case with any jewelry design, it must be wearable in order to be successful. Vintage style rings are timeless, meaning they can be worn by any woman. Perhaps she admires this style because it reminds her of something from her mother or grandmother's jewelry collection. A woman who closely follows jewelry fashion may choose it because celebrities often adorn themselves in classic styles, which makes for an instant trend. There are many different jewelry styles and many different women who can appreciate them.

When looking for vintage style rings, one common factor is the presence of marcasite, which is a decorative accent commonly used in jewelry. Its dark coloration lends to an old-fashioned appearance. Another popular design in recreating antique jewelry is the use of scrollwork. And for the woman who really wants to take a step back in time with style, the combination of cubic zirconia and sterling silver can create a look that not only dates back to old Hollywood glamour, but is also very much still a trend today. This affordable duo looks identical to diamonds, but will only cost the buyer a fraction of the real thing.

Speaking of popular characteristics of vintage style rings, it's worth noting that many antique pieces were originally bold in their design. With that being said, this is not always the case today. Many jewelry designs inspired by the past are now available in a variety of sizes. Whether you are a woman who prefers a bold ring with plenty of sparkle or you just want a touch of shine, you will have no problem finding something to suit your needs. Regardless if you prefer the clear stone or one with color, again there is no shortage. Many designers have taken an old-fashioned approach and modernized it with today's technology, meaning the customer has more choices than ever.

In closing, jewelry selection is one of the most personal decisions a woman can make with her wardrobe. It is, perhaps, the one thing that she wears that will say more about her than anything else. You may wear your favorite blouse once a week, but you will likely wear a signature piece of jewelry every day. Vintage style rings, like all other jewelry, are a direct reflection on the wearer's personality. Whatever your demeanor, profession, age or body type, the jewelry that you wear every day says something about you. It tells someone that you are shy, outgoing, modern, classic or a combination of all these things. Jewelry, by its very nature, is designed to be beautiful and is especially so when worn by someone who can appreciate it.

Many universities around the world offer an option to complete university degrees in online mode or a combination of the face-to-face and online modes of study. For people looking to extend their career or educational profile it is suggested to contact their local university before searching for alternative places of study online.

Despite all the bad publicity of online degree scams, over the last few years online education offered by state universities have improved in reputation and usability. This also depended on the internet access. The more people with access to faster internet, the more potential students can access online programs. Moreover, faster internet paved the way for rich media applications like online video lectures and student collaboration tools.

    Is it a real degree?

Online education and online degrees are only valuable if they are awarded by reputable universities or academic schools. There are many places on the net offering quick degrees or even degrees without assignments and exams, and these institution damage the reputation of other universities offering online mode of study. Online mode of study is convenient to people working full time or living long distance from their local universities. Degrees awarded to online students are equivalent to the same degrees awarded to other students who attended classes on a university campus.

    Online study for busy people

For business people working full time, online mode of study provides a great opportunity to further their professional development. Studying for a Masters of Business Administration or a Graduate Business Certificate, for example, may in fact improve career choices or solidify current employment position. In addition to that, attending a university is one of the best ways to get up to day with current research and development in a particular business area.

    How does it work?

When studying online, students have the same deadlines and assessment requirements as other students attending university classes. At the start of the semester, the unit coordinator sends an email to online students with details on how to access online study material and discussion board. The unit outline normally contains reading requirements and a weekly discussion topic. Students are encouraged to contribute online and as well as sharing their business experience, refer to other current academic research and material. The unit coordinator or the lecturer makes themselves available and can normally be contacted online or over the phone. Even though students study online, it is a dynamic process and a personal experience.

Studying online requires a little extra student commitment and a well developed time management skills. Because there is no pressure to attend classes, students require to allocate their time at home for reading and contribution to online discussions. It is important to follow on weekly reading and complete assignments on time.

    Contact your local university

Online education provides a convenient access to busy business people or people living in remote areas. When selecting a university, is it suggested to contact a local school first and follow their recommendations from then on, in order to avoid online education scam so widely spread across the internet.

If there's any day in anyone's life that calls for the best jewelry, it would be a bride's wedding day. Many girls dream of having the perfect wedding, with the perfect dress, perfect venue and perfect food. Even the smallest details like flowers, the entourage's clothing, video and photos are regarded as highly important. One thing that's also an important part of the wedding preparations is the selection of the bridal jewelry.

The bridal jewelry is as much a part of the bridal's gown as the hair accessories and shoes. The thing with bridal jewelry, in addition to the hair accessories and shoes, is that they all have to complement each other in such a way that one does not outshine the other and more important, they don't outshine the bride. You have plenty of bridal jewelry to select from. You can pick from earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets but you definitely can't use them all at once. You just pick the ones that are the most complementary. Here's a guide on how to choose which jewelry works best for your wedding.

Simple vs. Formal – Your choice of bridal jewelry may depend on how formal your wedding ceremony is. When it's a simple wedding, you may opt to choose simple smaller piecesyou're your bridal jewelry. Larger, ornate pieces may be appropriate if you have a large, formal wedding. However, a burst of color as an accent may be fitting if it's a simple garden wedding to connect with the theme.

Necklines – One of the factors that can affect your choice in bridal necklaces is the neckline of the bridal gown. Some brides opt to wear strapless gowns which lead them to wear necklaces to accentuate the décolletage and fill the space. For brides that opt to wear a high neckline, those that come heavily beaded with gems and stones, they tend to forego wearing a necklace and instead, just wear a delicate pair of earrings to match the gems and stones.

Color of the Gown – You also have to take into consideration the color of your bridal gown when choosing your bridal jewelry. If you're wearing a white dress, the shimmery and silvery tones of platinum and sterling silver work well with this color. If your dress is slightly off-white, you may wear gold tones or silver and platinum to bring out the color. If your dress is ivory (or beige), then the yellowish tones of gold bridal jewelry will set off your dress beautifully.

Hairstyles – If you're pulling your hair up and away from your face, this will leave your ears and neck open which is perfect for wearing either dangling earrings or necklaces. Strike a good balance if you plan on wearing both to avoid the over-accessories trap.

These key factors all work in combination with each other. You need to consider all these factors to strike a good balance on what works best for your wedding day. If you're not sure, you can always ask the advice of your closest friends and family and if you have a personal stylist then you won't have a problem to worry about.

In this age of social networking and web 2.0 communication, information travels much faster than it ever did. This is all good, when it's used for good purposes. Things change, however, when negative information about your business spreads like a virus throughout the internet. What's even worse, many businesses are not even aware that it is happening.

It all started with community forums and newsgroups. Before the introduction of public instant messaging, in the days of dial-up internet, people used to share their experience and asked for help by posting messages on forums or emailing a newsgroup. While many forums still exist, they are heavily moderated, which prevents abusive messages make it to the masses. The current danger comes from instant publicly available messaging systems such as Twitter, Facebook and the like.

    What actually happens?

It appears that people nowadays feel the need and even responsibility to tell the world about their experiences. What used to be private is now public. What used to be secret is now proclaimed all over the world. People buy something off the internet and even before they click the final submit button, they already blog and twit about it, eg, "I just found a good deal here" and so on. When the goods are delivered, they say "Oh, that was quick! Just got such and such delivered ahead of time". Positive comments drive herds of potential customers to the same web site and bring new business to the vendor.

When, however, something goes wrong, customers are quick to tell the world about it too. The other day it happened with one of the businesses that I am involved with. A customer went to pay their bill using online credit card processing form. Such manual payments are verified by the business staff and then manually credited to the customer's account, normally, within an hour. Five minutes after the customer made the payment, he called the accounts department and asked why his payment hasn't been credited yet to his account. They explained to him that it takes about an hour to process. The customer got angry, hanged up the phone and went straight to his twitter to send messages such as "this company's services are bad", "don't use this company". The company's staff was quick to respond by sending a sort message to counteract the claims.

    What you can do

The first and most important thing for each business is to be aware of what is actually happens on the net, to know what people are saying about the business and how others are responding. It's what you don't know can really hurt the business. Businesses can not assume that all is good, and customer service personnel cannot dismiss negative claims about the business without actually knowing or checking out what went on.

It is highly suggested to join social networking website and messaging services like Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace and many others. Even if there it no intention to post messages, businesses need to have access to such media in order to be able to search and monitor comments about them. Once a week or even once a month, it is suggested for someone in the business to spend a day or two searching the net for the company name or phrases such as "business name sucks" or "business name reviews". This will bring up most of the current day comments about the company. When replying to negative comments, acknowledge the other people's concert and reply explaining what the company is going to do about it. Become an active member of that community. This, in itself, may prevent a lot of negative comments in the future.

Whatever you do, don't dismiss negative comments. Make it look like the company appreciates every customer and is willing to improve areas that attracted negative comments. It is the age of instant messaging. Encourage your business to use it to its advantage.

Love is in the air and, yes, that means heart jewelry is on the move. It's that time of year again and retailers, both physical and online, are stocking up for the upcoming Valentine's holiday and also for spring and summer weddings.

By definition, the symbol of a heart signifies love. Afterall, men and women wear wedding bands on their left hand's ring finger because that particular finger is believed to have some type of connection to the heart. First and foremost, giving the gift of heart jewelry is a wonderful way to say 'I love you.' It is also perfect as a 'just because' or 'thinking of you' presentation. Of course, you can always treat yourself to this classic design if for no other reason that simply because it is a beautiful, timeless theme that will always be the perfect accessory.

As you shop for heart jewelry, remember to look for a design that fits your own personal style or that of the person you are buying for. Jewelry is a reflection of the wearer, and should be chosen accordingly. With the constantly changing world of fashion, there is no shortage of selection or variation. Whether you want a petite pair of earrings or a ring with lots of bling, you will find it all online. Almost diamonds, a popular online retailer specializing in cubic zirconia jewelry, offers a wide variety of sterling silver rings, earrings, necklaces and even bracelets showcasing the heart motif accented with sparkling diamond simulants.

Like other investments, precious metal jewelry will always have value. For this reason alone, it's a good idea to consider purchasing a quality design if it is within your budget. Sterling silver is the most affordable of all precious metals, and is a popular choice for heart jewelry. Its icy white coloration looks very much like white gold, which would cost substantially more. Typically, sterling silver prices start at $10 for a pair of cubic zirconia heart stud earrings and range from $15-$100 for pendants and rings. Of course, the higher price tags are associated with pieces featuring intricate detail and most often have a more substantial presence. The price you pay will ultimately depend on the item you purchase, its size and value. Retailers typically stock a variety of styles to fit every budget and preference.

In closing, jewelry designs featuring a heart motif will be a wonderful addition to any wardrobe. Whether you prefer a solid, high polished design or prefer cubic zirconia for added sparkle, the possibilities are endless. As a classic that promises to never go out of style, it could be your next signature piece. Whatever design you buy today, you can feel confident in its potential to be worn by your daughters and granddaughters for years to come. If you are shopping for a gift, you will enjoy the confidence in knowing that the gift you give is something that she can wear every day and be in perfect style. With that in mind, it's easy to see why so many have fallen head over heels in love with heart jewelry.

During the first year of a baby's life they rapidly transition through numerous stages of development. Development of communication and interaction is often the most exciting. As a newborn your baby will primarily communicate through reflexive cries to indicate they are hungry, tired or uncomfortable. Over 12 months this communication develops into a responsive intentional use of first words such as 'mamma' or 'daddy'. The ability to communicate is essential and the following is a guide of age expected development in the first year of life.

    6 Months

By 6 months old your baby will squeal in delight when he sees his mother or father. He has become very responsive when he recognises a familiar adult, possibly smiling, or moving his arms or vocalizing to people talking to him. Your baby is soothed by you holding or rocking him and has become a little more discriminating between familiar and unfamiliar adults. By 6 months of age your child should demonstrate the following skills:

    * Startle in response to noise,

    * turn to where a sound is coming from - localising sound

    * make different cries for different needs - tired cry versus a hungry cry

    * watch your face as you talk to him

    * he smiles / laughs in response to you smiling and laughing

    * imitates other sounds such as 'ah, eh, ur, oh'

    * cooing

    9 Months

By 9 months of age your baby will protest vocally and through facial expressions when you take a toy off him. He is sitting independently and now has a different perspective on life. Being upright enables him the use of his hands and to explore toys. Some 9 month olds may have started to wave goodbye and are using specific gestures to communicate. By 9 months of age your baby should demonstrate the following skills:

    * Respond to his name

    * respond to a telephone ringing or the dog barking

    * understand the concept of being told 'no'

    * uses gestures to communicate needs and wants

    * plays social games with you eg. peek a boo

    * enjoys being around people

    * babble eg bababa, dadada

    * repeats sounds

    12 Months

By 12 months of age your baby has started communicating by combining words with facial expression and gesture. For example they will point to a bird and look at their mother and say 'mama'. Your baby will also start to play differently such as clapping hands or banging objects. By 12 months your baby should demonstrate the following skills:

    * Follows simple instructions eg come here, sit down

    * looks to a toy that an adult points to eg. 'look at the ball (point to the ball)

    * uses three to five words frequently

    * waves goodbye

    * shakes head 'no'

    * gains your attention by using noises, sounds, gestures and eye contact

    * shows you toys

    * responds to praise

    * interested in simple books

    * Combines lots of consonant and vowel sounds together eg badaba, madu

    Signs of a Possible Problem

By 12 months of age there are some signs that could indicate that your child may not be reaching the language milestones expected for his age. All children do develop skills at their own rate but there are still a few signs that may indicate the need for professional advice.

    * An infant who is not responding to sounds in the environment.

    * An infant who is not vocalizing (cooing, babbling)

    * A one year old who is not saying any single words ("mama" or "dada")

    * Does not learn to use gestures, such as waving or shaking head by 12months

    * Does not point to objects or pictures by 12months

    * A 12month old who is not using consistent and frequent eye contact with familiar adults.

For as long as people have been into clothes, people have also been attracted to wearing various accessories. Adornments have always been used to complement what people are wearing to highlight and accentuate the color and the style of what they have on and even to bring focus to a particular body part, like ears if you're wearing fabulous earrings or fingers if you're wearing stunning rings.

Over the years, jewelry has been made with materials like gold and sterling silver and embellished with a variety of precious and semi-precious stones. Nowadays, there are new materials like platinum and titanium and even a proliferation of costume jewelry for the quirky and unique tastes. Even today, both men and women are getting into the habit of using jewelry as a personal statement of fashion.

Among the choice materials for jewelry for men and women, sterling silver is rather popular because of its affordability and flexibility when it comes to design. It has a certain class that appeals to both sexes and may be used for both casual and formal events. Sterling silver is also slightly more malleable than gold so it's easier to form into varied shapes and intertwined with other materials for versatile and one of a kind designs.

Sterling silver is usually made into necklaces, earrings and rings. Sterling silver necklaces can be made of thin silver chains usually adorned with a classy pendant or stone. They may also be multi-layer necklaces set with your favorite birthstones or crystals. Sterling silver earrings also have the potential to be many things – from drop earrings to chandelier ones. Sterling silver rings may be as simple as a thin band with minimal engraving or it may be as complex as a three-finger ring. Whatever your design, whether you can see it from a store or you want it custom made by a jeweler or a freelance artist, you can have it made with sterling silver.

Another favorite sterling silver piece of jewelry is the sterling silver bangle bracelet. For men, it may be a classic thick band of silver and engraved with a classic design. It's very manly and well-suited for the modern man. You may even pair it with a matching ring to complete the ensemble. Women can be more versatile with their sterling silver bangle bracelet. They may wear just one piece. It's your choice if it's a thin plain band or an ornate thick band depending on their mood, their attire and the occasion. Or, they may choose to combine several sterling silver bangle bracelets to create a definite focal point.

Sterling silver bangle bracelets may also be worn on the arm, rather than on the wrist, especially for women, who have chosen to wear a sleeveless dress. This combination of sterling silver and a stunning dress creates a dramatic fashion piece that is sure to attract the attention of the bystanders at the event you're attending.

Just remember to maintain your sterling silver jewelry clean after using and keep it away from moisture to prevent tarnishing so you can use it for a longer period of time.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

In this article, I'd like to discuss a topic very dear to my heart- guiding teen girls into womanhood. Why do I feel so passionate about this subject? Well, I was one once many moons ago and I can't believe I made it out alive and am now a well-adjusted, mostly-healthy woman. One of the things I say to teen girl clients a lot is, "I hope there's no such thing as reincarnation because I wouldn't want to have to come back and be a teenager all over again!"

I'm sure you're sitting there nodding ferociously thinking, "I hear you, sister!" And I'm also guessing that your teen years were far from easy and idyllic. I'm also guessing that whether you're a mother, an auntie, a teacher, a counselor, or just plain 'ol friend of a teen girl who is near and dear to your heart, you'd love to be able to give her something, anything, to make her journey along the rocky road to womanhood a little less difficult.

"But what can I possibly give her?" you ask.

My answer: MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW.

    Why do I say this?

Because having worked as a therapist with teen girls and women for over a decade, I have learned one very valuable thing: teen girls need guidance from their 'elders' (that's you and me!) in order to navigate their way through the myriad experiences and choices that face them in their adolescent years.

I think that we, as women, constantly negate what our gifts are and what we're capable of, and being a role model to a young woman who needs help and guidance is no exception. I have experienced this first-hand with my 18-year-old sister (huge age gap between us as you can figure out). When she was born, I had never felt a love so deep and so great. Our bond was immediate. I can still remember holding her little 8-pound body in my arms at the hospital and looking into her face and realizing that this little person was a miracle.

Because my mother was on her own and I still lived at home, I became a sort of 'second mother' to my little sister. We were a family of three girls (and still are!) and I cannot say enough about the bond we all have with one another- three generations of women with similar genes, great intellect, compassion, beauty, and elegance (I'm saying these things in order to encourage you to also sing your own praises and those of the women in your family- it feels really good- try it!). However, we are all very different and unique and have learned how to honour our differences and even celebrate them in ourselves and each other.

How is this possible? Well, I believe that it has a lot to do with the fact that all three of us are highly inquisitive, open-minded, loving, and thoughtful women. And then add that we all see the virtue of learning from one another. And while a big part of this involves learning from our 'elder women'; it also goes both ways. I know for a fact that my sister is one of my greatest teachers, and that I am also one of my mother's…and vice-versa. That's the beauty of it- it flows in many different directions.

I believe that this phenomenon is as natural to girls and women as breathing, but somewhere along the way, we lost it. We are however, en masse, reclaiming this beautiful style of learning by the evidence of countless rites-of-passage ceremonies for girls and women being performed and added in many spiritual faiths.

As well, there are some fabulous books out there which speak to this innate need to both initiate, and be initiated into, womanhood and there are too many to list here, but I urge you to check them out and find the ones that speak to you and the teen girls in your life.

One that I have recently completed is based on this concept entirely, featuring 20 women's stories of their teen years and the wisdom they have gained since then. It is called, "What Your Mama Can't or Won't Teach You: Grown Women's Stories of their Teen Years" and can be ordered at: http://www.guidebooktowomanhood.com

I want to leave you with something to get you started on the path to guiding teen girls in a positive way.

"Esther's 10 Tips to Being a Guide and Mentor to Teen Girls"

    1. Make room in your life for at least one teen girl who you feel a bond with and spend time with her regularly.

    2. Let her guide your interactions and conversations and don't assume that you need to be in control. In fact, the more you let her control the time, the more empowered she will be to take charge of other areas of her life.

    3. Remind her often of her wonderful qualities and attributes and PLEASE focus mostly on who she is as a person; not what she looks like.

    4. No matter what she says or does, love her unconditionally and release the temptation to judge. If she even sniffs a hint of judgment coming from you; you run the risk of losing her trust.

    5. Never tell her what she SHOULD or SHOULDN'T do- when you are with her, leave your preaching at the door and just be a friend. (A caveat to mothers of teens- you can't really expect to be your daughter's friend but it still helps to not "should" her.)

    6. Wipe the horror off your face if and when she reveals things in her life that freak you out (trust me, there can be many). Instead, practice the Zen concept of "loving detachment" and just "be" with her without reacting (this can be most challenging even for those of us who meditate everyday!)

    7. Share stories of your own teen years with her, even if it makes you uncomfortable- she will probably learn a lot anyways. Remember, this is for her; not you. Girls need to hear what other women did in similar circumstances and situations in order to make informed choices.

    8. Be critical of the media and it's representation of women and encourage the teen girls in your life to do the same. If you want some help with this, get the book, "All Made Up" by Audrey Brashish- it's fabulous and it's written especially for teen girls.

    9. Do fun things with her that you both enjoy! Let out your own "inner teen girl" and have some fun! Teens are usually quite good at this and you'll both have a hoot (and a holler if you're lucky!)

    10. And lastly, RELAX and be yourself when in the presence of said teen girl. You can lower your standards and be imperfect, fallible, and even downright goofy if need be. Girls don't need "perfect" role models- there are enough of those out there who lead them to starving themselves to death and other dangerous behaviours. Be real. Be authentically you. Be genuine and proud of who you are. I can't think of a better role model than that!

If you have always lost an earring lock or the entire earring at a party at least once in your life, then you must know how much of a hassle it is to wear earrings in general. However, an outfit simply is not complete without your pair of earrings, especially if you are attending a formal event. Without earrings, women feel almost naked. It's a good thing there are leverback earrings that could provide security, elegance and comfort for any woman wearing them.

    Choosing the Style

There are leverback earrings which dangle, and those which look like a cross between stud and hoop earrings. To choose the best earring style, take a look at your face. Is it broad rather than long? Generally, dangle leverback earrings elongate the face, so it is best worn by women with broader faces. Those with longer facial shapes need should stick to non-dangle designs to balance things off. Oval-shaped faces, of course, can wear either type of leverback earrings because they already have a symmetrical face and could pull off any style.

    Picking the Materials

There are a lot of factors to consider when it comes to the material of your leverback earrings. The first thing you should worry about is your budget. If you have money to spare, then you can indulge yourself with real diamonds and maybe even a platinum metal casting. However, if you are on a budget, you may want to consider cubic zirconia and other synthetics for the stones and silver or stainless silver for the cast. Just make sure you can take note of the kind of materials so you can take care of your jewelry pieces properly.

To keep the stones intact, bathing or sleeping with your earrings should be avoided. Even the most expensive leverback earrings are bound to be distorted or tarnished when they're not well taken cared for. Keep them away from chemicals, soaps, and moisture. When you are not using them, try to keep them in a cushioned and secure box to avoid scratches.

    Scrutinize the Make

Not all leverback earrings are made the same. Alignment is very important when it comes to this earring style, so double check the earring's alignment before finalizing your purchase. If you are ordering them online, make sure there are warranties to protect you from factory-damaged products. The lever should fit perfectly with the other side of the earring otherwise wearing them could be highly uncomfortable. You may also ask the retailer about the length between the lever and the earring's base. Some people have long earlobes and they may find putting on these earrings a bit inconvenient. It's a generally well-received style, though. If you think you have average-shaped and sized ears, this design would work well for you.

If your leverback earrings are embedded with stones, authenticate them, especially if they are real diamonds and other precious stones. The latches holding these stones in place should be secure but discreet enough so as to retain the earring's elegant structure.

Snoring can be a super irritating condition and when you or your partner snores, all you want to do is stop snoring! Snoring can cause sleep disturbances for both the person that snores as well as the person that has to hear the snoring. Thankfully, snoring help exists and there are methods one can implement in an effort to stop snoring.

Shape of your mouth, tonsils and adenoids

Snoring is caused by a number of different sources. Snoring can be caused by the way your mouth is shaped and by the shape of your tonsils and adenoids. For instance, large tonsils can block the passageway of the throat when sleeping and this can produce a snoring sound. The removal of tonsils and adenoids is sometimes required in order for an individual to quit snoring. Just as the shape of your mouth and throat might cause snoring, you will find that issues with the nasal passages might also cause you to breathe with your mouth open at night: a common symptom associated with snoring.

    Body weight

Your bodily condition can be a source for snoring too; statistics reveal that people that have weight problems snore more. Sleep Apnea is a condition that causes an individual to have breathing difficulties at night and involves the blockage of airways in the throat: the result is snoring. This condition is sometimes associated with people that are obese, but thin people can also have the condition. This condition can be dangerous because it can minimize restorative sleep and it can have a negative effect on one's heart.

    Environment

Sometimes snoring has environmental causes. Over consumption of alcohol or the use of some medication can be responsible for causing snoring too. When the throat muscles and tongue are super relaxed, they can block off the airway and cause snoring. If you have a uvula that is long in the back of the throat, this piece of tissue can also cause you to snore.

    Snoring help

For snoring help, some people turn to appliances that can be put in the mouth just before going to sleep. Mouthpieces can help to shift the position of the jaw and tongue, and can help to keep your airway open more. As mentioned earlier, sometimes surgical procedures are required to quit snoring, and there are also laser surgery options available to shorten a long soft palate that might be responsible for snoring problems too. Special machines are further assigned to people with chronic Sleep Apnea to stop snoring: the process is identified as Continuous Positive Airway Pressure Therapy. The individual is given a mask to wear that delivers a rush of air into the air passage to keep the airways open and clear all night long.

Snoring can affect many aspects of a person's life. From relationships to personal health and wellbeing. A good rest at night is absolutely paramount for a person to function appropriately and to the full capacity during the day. If you snore – it is suggested that you consult your doctor. Get better for your health sake.

Who would have thought that there would come a day when my mother and me would meet as two strong, healthy, and brilliant women; delighting in each other's company and challenging and supporting each other in the quest to make our individual and collective dreams come true?

Certainly not me. There was a time (not so long ago) that I was in the throes of a life threatening eating disorder- a time when the chasm between mother and daughter seemed insurmountable. She wanted desperately to help but didn't know how. I needed help but didn't have a clue about how to ask for it.

Fast-forward fifteen years to the present. Today I am a successful psychotherapist who empowers women who feel stuck to rid themselves of the chains that bind them into self-destructive behavior patterns- mostly in the form of eating disorders. At the age of 36, I am in awe of the life I have now and am blown away by how far I've come on my journey to health and well being. Free of an eating disorder which once consumed me for many of my young years, the hell that used to be my life way back when, seems now like a distant memory. Now I help others who are where I used to be…I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined the life I have now back then…

It's a sunny, muggy Ontario spring morning as I step into the airporter bus from my mother's driveway, choking back tears. I have just spent the past five days with a woman I find increasingly wise and fascinating, who also happened to give me the gift of life.

We have both come so far and enjoy celebrating our successes as women. It seems fitting to me that I have just spent such a pleasant and healing time with my mother directly after attending a conference in Toronto put on by NEDIC (National Eating Disorder Information Centre). The conference title was, "Shades of Grey: Body Image and Self-Esteem" and was the first of its kind in Canada.

While the topic of disordered eating is vast, I will limit myself to one facet for the purposes of this article. I plan on elaborating on many others in future so stay tuned...

One issue that always pops up in my therapy work with clients experiencing disordered eating is how the media makes them feel bad about themselves by projecting an ideal beauty standard that is impossible for us to attain. To help women increase feelings of self-worth, I encourage clients to become 'media savvy', so that they can become critical of the messages they are being sent which are aimed to sell products, not to help women feel good about themselves.

On this note, I will highlight one of the keynote presentations from the NEDIC conference entitled, "Re-shaping Reality: Media Impact on Body Image and Self-Esteem" by Shari Graydon. Shari was the President of Mediawatch for many years; an invaluable resource which empowers Canadian citizens to speak up and out against harmful advertising. She has written two fabulous books in this vain, which I urge you to check out on her website: http://www.sharigraydon.com

Here is a summary of the presentation she gave at the conference:

    1. Media messages don't cause eating disorders (or we'd all be suffering), but they fuel insecurities and nurture vulnerable mindsets.

    2. It's natural to want to be attractive, but despite the impression created by commercial media, there's no single definition of beauty.

    3. The beauty industry wants us to feel lousy about the way we look; they benefit when we believe we're in need of a makeover or constant improvement.

    4. The emphasis on thin ideals for women, and muscular physiques for men reflects fundamental power issues, reinforcing on a subtle level the notion that women should take up as little space as possible.

    5. The media ideals we're surrounded by are physically unattainable; they've been so significantly art directed and Photo-shopped that not even the models featured can achieve the degree of perfection represented.

    6. Suffering is optional. We can choose not to buy into appearance myths; instead of doing battle with our own bodies, we can fight destructive media practices.

    7. The less time we spend immersed in commercial media, the less exposure we have to messages designed to undermine us, and the less likely we are to consciously or unconsciously judge ourselves inadequate for failing to measure up to unattainable ideals.

    8. We have the power to decline to consume products that in any way promote irresponsible attitudes and behavior, to encourage our friends and colleagues and communities to do the same. We can make media producers responsible for the toxic material they are disseminating through the power of complaint; we can communicate our decisions not to embrace media, products and services that do physical, psychological, emotional or environmental damage.

    9. We can cultivate the assets that really count: focus on what we can do and how we can contribute, as opposed to how we appear.

To start letting go of the power the media has over how you feel about yourself, I'll leave you with five things you can do to take your power back and increase feelings of self-worth:

    1. Stop buying fashion and beauty magazines and instead, buy reading material that makes you feel good instead. For instance, I buy spiritually enlightening and socially conscious magazines.

    2. Find alternative media that celebrates women instead of demoralizes them. Some magazines I particularly like are BUST and Herizons.

    3. Watch less television and Hollywood movies! These mediums of 'entertainment' glorify a very narrow definition of female beauty and success and promote low self-worth to their viewers. Instead, find a relatively obscure foreign film or a low-budget documentary that focuses on who we are inside; not what we look like on the outside.

    4. Make one day out of the week a "no make-up day". C'mon- rebel a little against the fascist beauty ideal you're expected to live up to. Bask in the delightfulness of a nude face!

    5. Wear something that makes you feel beautiful, confident, and sexy; regardless of whether it follows current fashion dictates. Enjoy being a fully alive, healthy woman in whatever shape and size you happen to come in.

And if all else fails, say this mantra that I learned at the conference over and over again:

I AM MUCH MORE THAN WHAT YOU SEE.

There are many small business owners who started their venture without any funds. To run your own business is an attractive prospect, but it is a sad fact that only a few businesses make it through the first few years of operation.

Access to business capital is often critical to business success. It is important to plan for all possible expenses that may occur and budget appropriately for capital expenses, operating costs, wages and insurance. The purpose of the running a business is to make profit. Be cautious and don't let business finance repayment drag the whole business down.

Provided that the owner developed a comprehensive business plan with a solid projected cash flow, next step would be to raise finance either by attracting investors or securing a bank loan. Depending on the needed amount, there are a few financing options available to new business start ups.

    Business Credit Cards

Opening a business credit card account is probably the easiest way to gain access to a working capital. There are many banks that offer unsecured credit card account with up to $20 thousand available credit. Any larger credit amounts will need to be secured against the directors' personal assets. Many of these cards come with an attached reward system, so spending and repaying a sizable amount every month will accumulate reward points that may prove to be useful for travel or exchange for other goods.

    Business Loans

Applying for a business loan with a bank or a financial broker requires the business owner to produce a well developed business plan that includes a five year cash flow projection. The bank will assess the application and will make a value judgment whether they think the business can survive and whether the owner has what it takes to make the business work. There is nothing the owner can do apart from hoping that the business idea will work and the bank manager will see it that way too. Normally the bank will require security from the borrower – usually the owner's personal assets. In many cases the bank will establish a "lenders covenant" and monitor the business finance making sure that the borrowed amount is never lower than an agreed percentage of the business value.

    Finance Lease

Finance lease if often use to fund business capital purchases such as computer equipment and cars. In this case the financing company purchases equipment on the owner's behalf and lets the owner use it for an agreed monthly fee. There are many types of different leasing options, so it's best to discuss available options with hardware and equipment vendors.

    Low Doc Loans

Australian financial institutions offer, what is called, a low doc loan facility to businesses that are not able to provide sufficient information to support their income. It is often useful for new business start-ups as a new business would not have enough data to produce audited financials that are required for normal business loans.

Whatever the choice may be, business finance provider must be chosen very carefully. For people who are new to running a business it is suggested to discuss the business funding with an experienced friend or a financial advisor.

If you are looking for love, in the form of a necklace, now is the perfect time for you to shine. A love necklace can be defined by a number of different designs, including the ones that we will discuss in this article. Whether for Valentine's Day, an anniversary, birthday or just because, these designs are sure to tug at her heart strings.

    • Heart. You cannot mention the word 'love' without envisioning a heart. As the universal symbol for love, this popular design is a must have. Its timeless appeal and classic styling come together to create the ultimate in the love necklace category.

    • Key. Traditionally, we think of a key to unlock our automobile or our home, but it has long been a symbol for love as well. Most of us have heard the saying, 'key to my heart.' Well, this old saying has modernized itself by way of jewelry design. Key pendants are a wonderful example of love, and have become ideal for gift giving as well as a very popular trend in jewelry design.

    • Journey. The word 'journey' is defined as a voyage or expedition, but it is also a term used to describe a design in jewelry. A journey necklace typically consists of multiple stones, often three or more, and signifies the past, present and future that a couple will experience together. It could also represent the number of years they have been married, the number of children they have or other significant milestone reached. This type of love necklace can either be designed as a straight or curvy bar featuring multiple stones, often clear cubic zirconia for the practical shopper.

    • Mother & Child. This meaningful duo has become a very popular symbol in jewelry. The profile of a mother embracing her newborn baby is a powerful message of love and has become a design that many are now wearing as a necklace. As a perfect Mother's Day gift or just to remind her that you care, the mother and child theme is a touching choice.

    • Messages. Last but not least, perhaps the most obvious example of a love necklace is a pendant featuring the word 'love' in lettering. From hearts to circles, you will find a variety of sizes and styles that feature this sweet little four-letter word as the focal point. Other messages that you may find on pendants include, "I love you," "Hugs & Kisses," "Someone Special," "Best Friends," etc. If you want a piece of jewelry that literally says how you feel, these are perfect for gift giving. Any occasion is the perfect one to remind someone that you love them, so don't hesitate to spell it out.

Now that you are familiar with various types of love necklace designs, the only task left is choosing just one. Designers have given you plenty of options, as have retailers who carry an array of popular styles to suit every style and budget. These types of jewelry gifts are more than just a box of candy or a dozen roses, both of which are lovely, but neither will last for long. A gift of jewelry, on the other hand, can last a lifetime and she will think of you each and every time she wears it. If you really want to tug at her heart strings, give her a gift that has love written all over it.
