When you come to move into college it can be an exciting and some testing time, especially if you are serious about your weight training and bodybuilding. As you'll no longer have access to your favourite gym or all the healthy food you'd normally be able to have at home and you'll probably find that sharing fridges and kitchens can be a headache.

You'll need to be dedicated and motivated

It might take you a week or two to get settled in and it can be daunting starting at college, however once you find your feet, if you have high levels of commitment and drive you'll have no problems keeping in shape and getting that perfect toned body. However there are a number of essentials tips that'll help you on your way.

    Set goals and plan ahead

Before you start college it is essential that you set out clear and specific goals and devise a training program for the year and make a commitment to stick to it. Don't forget this includes your nutrition and diet as well as your workouts.

    Get the right nutrition

If possible try and stay in self catered accommodation so that you can have maximum control over your nutrition and ensure that you're eating the right foods. If not you are going to have more of a difficult job, as college food in catered accommodation is average at best and most certainly not ideal for packing on muscle and burning off fat. If you find yourself in this situation don't over do your eating on the college food, especially if its food your body isn't used to, instead save up for a small fridge for your room. Budget for some healthy food week and stock up your fridge with good nutritious food which your body will thank you for.

Stock up on protein shakes and healthy snacks

Before you go to your lectures or classes each day, make up a healthy lunch for yourself so that you can avoid the canteen, take some protein shakes or snakes as well to ensure you don't go hungry and your body stays fuelled. If you have to go into the canteen, don't be tempted by the unhealthy food, it'll just undo all the good work you've been doing down the gym. Try to stick to the food options you'd normally go for such as chicken, eggs, pasta, tuna, salads and cottage cheese.

    Find your local gyms

As soon as you get there spend some time orientating yourself with the area you are staying, find the local gyms, have a look around and see which ones are best suited to your needs. Speak to some of the instructors and find out the best routes for running so you can get your cardio training in. Don't forget to check the opening times of the gyms and their prices, many will give you a student discount on membership, so make sure you ask.

Form good habits and avoid the booze

Watch your habits and try and form good ones, make sure you get enough sleep and organise your time so that you get your work and training done, as well as making the most of the social activities. Try to avoid the drinking as you'll be throwing your training away; if you are just bodybuilding for fun and to look and feel good don't feel bad about having a few drinks at the week end, but remember drink in moderation and be responsible. If you are bodybuilding for competition then there is no way any alcoholic drinks should be getting past your lips. As alcohol lowers your testosterone, dehydrates and will cause you to put on fat. Abstain from drinking and your friends will soon respect your for discipline and commitment.

The most prevalent of all forms of disease are those of infancy and early childhood. The chief cause of a 'very large number of these diseases lies in faulty feeding habits of modem age. Unless 'this is realised by parents, there can be little hope of rescue for their children from the various ailments suffered by them.

The young baby is fed in a wrong way, even before its birth. In the womb, the child depends for its nourishment on what the mother supplies to it. And the modem mother generally eats denatured and demineralised foods. This deprives her growing unborn child of the invaluable mineral elements it needs. for proper bone and body building. The child thus enters into the world as a potentially unhealthy baby.

It is therefore of utmost importance that the mother should know as to what foods she needs for her own health as well as, for the health of her child. She should understand that rickets, scurvy, whooping cough, measles, chicken pox, tonsillitis, dental caries and all the other diseases of childhood are merely the result of refined foods of today, which are deficient in organic mineral salts, but excessive in refined sugar, starchy foods, proteins and fats. She should realize the invaluable part played by fresh fruits and raw salad vegetables in preventing such diseases.

During the first two or three days after the baby is born, the mother's breasts do not secrete milk, but yields a yellowish fluid. This fluid, called colostrum, is good for the baby. It is rich in many nutrients and anti-infective factors which protect the infant from infections during the first few days of life. It also takes care of his hunger. The act of suckling during these days will promote the milk flow and soon the breasts will start secreting milk.

All children should be breast-fed where possible. Breast feeding is the natural and ideal way of feeding the infants. Mother's milk is pure and fresh and it contains in correct proportions, most of the nutrients necessary for the growth and development of the baby.

Breast feeding is safe, simple and clean. Milk from other sources is liable to contamination, especially in areas with unhygienic environments. This can result in bowel infection. It is a well-known fact that bowel upsets are less common among breast-fed babies than those who are artificially fed. Moreover, the exercise involved in sucking breast aids in the proper development of jaws, palate, mouth and cheek muscles.

In the beginning, the infant should be breast fed on demand and all efforts should be made to breast-feed the infant whenever he cries. Once the breast feeding has been established, it is advisable to train the baby to regular feeding times. In the beginning, he may be given four feeds a day after four-hours of interval, but no feed should be given during night. If the child wakes up at night, only boiled and cooled water should be given. Babies should be breast fed for at least six months as this is nature's way of providing all the required nutrients during this period. Recent research has shown that a mother's body is capable of reacting to infections and producing antibodies against them. These antibodies pass through milk to babies and protect them against common infections.

If for any reason, it is not possible to breast-feed the baby, he should be fed on either cow's milk or commercially available milk. As far as possible, the baby should not be given artificially prepared, patent or tinned milk foods. When a mother can partly feed the baby, she should give him two feeds of her own and two top feeds or one of her own and three top feeds.

You can need special diets for any number of reasons and these can go from medical to just because you want to. Medically needed special diets requires you to stick very closely to your regime and allows almost no deviation from it. If you're going on a special diet for religious reasons then you'll still need to stick to your diet rigorously but in this case you will be your own supervisor. If you deviate from this diet then it hurts you in a spiritual way with which you will need to come to terms.

For some people this spiritual hurt will bear more weight with them than any physical hurt they might get if they go off their medically required special diets. If you're already on spiritual special diets and you also need to have medical special diets as well, you might run into some turmoil and conflict. If your body dictates one message but your faith another one, then what can you do? Do you go in for the special diets that will heal you spiritually or do you go in for the special diets that will heal you physically?

It's a tough question but one that you've got to answer for yourself. Most times however, a compromise can be reached and you can work out some special diets that will ultimately suit both your physical and spiritual sides.

Then again if you just need medical special diets for whatever it is that ails you, you will have to stick to a strict dietary regime and not deviate from your course. This way only leads to disaster.

If you're pregnant sometimes you might be needing special diets to suit the needs of the moment. These diets rarely last after you've delivered your baby, but you might need to be careful about some foods and curtail your diet in some ways thereafter.

The reason that I needed to go in for a range of special diets was for my weight problem. I was overweight and needed to curtail my eating habits. Nothing would work for me, and all the other diets that I went on never seemed to be quite what they said they were. Sure they worked for some time, but after a short while I would go off the diet and gain back weight. By going for special diets I was able to regain my normal weight with a minimum of fuss.

Special diets can work wonders for you if you try them too. No guarantees, and no signed confessions telling you that special diets are what you need most in your life. But if you have a need for it talking over the possibility of getting special diets for yourself with your nutritionist is the first step.

Are you overweight, or do you just want to control your diet? Perhaps you just want to make sure that you're getting a properly balanced diet into your body. Whatever the reason, you can get your answers from a nutritionist. These trained professionals can help you with all your dietary problems and give you a guiding hand in the right direction.

With the help of a good nutritionist you can bring your diet back into control. They can help you to find out why you're overeating, and what foods cause you the most problems. Once you do that, then your nutritionist can also help you to draw up a plan on which you can base your day to day dietary needs. If you have trouble keeping to a strict diet then your nutritionist can help you there too. They can recommend alternate foods, or methods for you to be able to keep your diet intact.

If you're dieting in earnest, then your nutritionist will become your best friend through the many weeks until you reach your target weight. They won't let you lose the weight so fast that you get other medical conditions, and they won't let you get disheartened either when your weight loss levels out onto a plane, and it might seem like you're not losing any weight. And when the pressure gets to be too unbearable a good nutritionist will help you through those tough times, giving you a friendly helping hand.

You'll also need to see a nutritionist if you're suffering from a medical condition such as diabetes or gluten intolerance. In either case you'll need a special diet to take over your existing one. For a diabetic especially this can be hard going and your nutritionist can help you work out a dietary regime that will still leave you with a wide array of foods to choose from. Mealtimes need not look so bleak, and you might even find yourself looking forward to whatever new menu plan that your nutritionist and you cooked up between the two of you.

For a person suffering from gluten intolerance life is slightly easier, but as your nutritionist will tell you it's not clear sailing until you've eliminated gluten from your diet completely. Most likely your nutritionist will also be able to tell you what ready made foods and such are known to have gluten or even traces of gluten in them so you can stay away from those items, but still not miss on out on the plethora of ready made and tinned stuffs that line the grocery store shelves.

If you want to see a nutritionist there's nothing simpler and your doctor can probably point you in the right direction first of all. A good nutritionist is an invaluable asset to most people, and should be thought of as such.

You've heard about it when you were in school, but you really didn't pay too much attention to it. There's been some talk about it recently but again you just didn't have the time to give your full attention to it. Now however, you have enough time on your hands, and besides your kids need help with their schoolwork so you'll need to learn all about it. What am I talking about? The Food Guide Pyramid of course.

Sometime late in the early mists of science some genius or early nutritionist stumbled across the magical fact that humans needed food to live. This same person also deduced quite rightly that some foods were more important than others. And taking things one step further, this genius saw that even from amongst these categories the foods would again be divided into sections where some of these foods should only be taken in smaller quantities.

At a guess this person probably came up with a complex table or matrix from which to describe the proper daily intake of food for a person in the course of one day. But as will happen, through some method we have instead ended up not with a table or matrix but with the Food Guide Pyramid that graces all doctors' offices these days.

Well, now you know what the food guide pyramid is, but do you know exactly what it does, and how it works? In the earlier days as little back as five years ago, the food guide pyramid was set in an orderly manner, with the foods that should be consumed most placed on the bottom, and the foods that should be eaten the least placed on the tip of the food guide pyramid.

As of 2005 however, the food guide pyramid as we know it was changed forever, and a new one was built to take its place. Essentially this new food guide pyramid tells you the same story, but it now has added components to be able to help you better understand diet and your health.

This new food guide pyramid actually has a person climbing stairs up the side of the pyramid to show that regular exercise also needs to be included in your overall healthy eating habits. And instead of the horizontal lines that we are so used to seeing, the divisions now radiate down from the tip of the food guide pyramid. What this tells us is that although some food groups are better for us than others, some foods even within a group should only be taken in moderation.

You'll also notice that this new food guide pyramid sports a dazzling array of rainbow colors as its divisional stripes, and that's just to make the sections easier to differentiate. With six colored divisions you'll go through Orange (Grains), Green (Vegetables), Red (Fruits), Yellow (Fats), Blue (Dairy), and Purple (Meats, Beans, Fish). Take a walk through this new food guide pyramid – you might be pleasantly surprised what you find inside.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

There are many reasons why high fibre diets are good for you, but the main one is that in terms of overall health and fitness, high fibre diets will promote only the best in you. Other reasons can be anything ranging from constipation, to hemorrhoids, to something called diverticular disease. These are all good and sound reasons for switching to high fibre diets. But one of the best as far as I am concerned is that high fibre diets can assist you in losing weight.

It can't get any better than that really. A diet that's not only good for you, but that actually promotes steady and regular weight loss, and includes most of the foods that I like to eat. I confess that I like my burger and fries as much as the next person, but I also adore fruits and grains, so I don't have a problem with changing my diet to one of the high fibre diets.

One of the advantages that you gain with these high fibre diets is that they really help to fill you up during meal times so that along with the nutritional value of the high fibre diet you also have the benefit of eating less. You can probably see now why I'm such an advocate of these high fibre diets.

There are many things that you can include in your high fibre diets, you don't need to limit yourself to a stick of celery for lunch with a cup of tepid water. Many of the foods are really a joy to eat and if you prepare them properly they will taste just as good as their greasy counterparts. Okay well not as good, but really good in a different way.

And when you get used to eating all these foods that are so healthy you'll be glad to look back on the day that you started investigating high fibre diets. With a host of foods to choose from you won't be short of great meals and snacks. But what foods can you include in your high fibre diets? To begin with you can instantly add wholegrain cereals to your food list, along with wholegrain breads, baked beans, cooked beans, lentils and legumes of any sort.

Then you'll get fresh fruits and vegetables into the mix. The fruits are best eaten with the skin as it contains a good source of fibre. Vegetables can be eaten either cooked or raw, and depends only on your taste buds. Root vegetables are also especially good for the high fibre diets.

When you're trying out any of these high fibre diets however, always remember to drink a lot of water or even fruit or vegetable juices. The liquid is very important for the digestion aid of your high fibre diets and shouldn't be overlooked. So now you know the benefits of high fibre diets and why I favor these types of diets over anything else. Try it for yourself and see the difference in yourself.

Article Title: What Should You Know About Gluten Free Diet?

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

I can tell you truthfully that up until very recently I had absolutely no clue as to what a gluten free diet was. I didn't have even a grain of an idea that I could base my knowledge upon. I have since found out however, that gluten is what you would call the protein part of certain grains like wheat, barley, rye or other similar grains. Some people are found to be allergic to the gluten in these grains and so need to have a gluten free diet.

Unfortunately that's not as easy as it sounds. And since a person who suffers from gluten intolerance or celiac disease has to live their whole lives on a gluten free diet to be able to live normal healthy lives, they will need to consult with a doctor or nutritionist first. If they don't get the diet that's right for them, they could be facing many problems.

If you suffer from either of these gluten allergies don't worry overly much however as there is hope. A diet that can suit your special needs can be formulated and you can live a good life. All you need to remember is to stay away from wheat based products. Again that might not be so easy to do, but with help you can find the right gluten free diet for you.

If you like oats, then you'll be glad to hear that you don't need to eliminate oats or oat products from your diet. If they've been processed free of the contaminating effects of wheat or such other grains, then you should be okay. But you will have to make sure that this is the case otherwise you will be inadvertently admitting some gluten into your system.

Foods that you could eat on your gluten free diet can include corn, soya, rice, and tapioca. You also have the choice of jams, and marmalades, sugar, honey, treacle and molasses as well. If that's not enough your gluten free diet can include all fresh fruits and vegetables, along with eggs, milk, creams, butters and cheese. If you want still more then you can also have tea and coffee, fizzy drinks and most alcoholic drinks as well.

Although it might not be that easy to stay on your gluten free diet if you start buying ready prepared foods, as these might contain products with gluten in them. And if not actual gluten based products they might have been processed somewhere close to where there are gluten based products.

So really if you just stick to the fresh side of your food, and stay away from canned or ready made goods, then you should be okay with your gluten free product. Along with this however, you should also stay away from anything that has wheat or suchlike in it as this can entirely destroy your gluten free diet. With a little bit of careful planning you should be alright, and your diet should stay intact.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

For those of you who don't know, the food pyramid is a carefully drawn up plan of exactly what the human body needs nutritionally. That is, the food pyramid is a guide to help us determine what we should eat everyday. It doesn't have a set menu of food that you need to eat per day. All it has is a guide that can help you plan your meals so that you get the correct amount of nutrients into your system every day.

The food pyramid will show you the path to keeping yourself fit and healthy through a steady and healthy diet. Up until recently that's all the food pyramid did. In 2005 however, the food pyramid as we know it was changed forever, and a more up-to-date food pyramid took its place. Now you'll find that instead of the two-dimensional food pyramid we're so used to, it's become more three-dimensional. To show the added benefits that regular exercise will have on you, a figure running up a flight of stairs on the side of the food pyramid has been added.

Earlier if you looked at the food pyramid you would have seen horizontal lines spanning the food pyramid with the food that we eat the most of, starting at the bottom. The food that we should eat the least amount of, could be found at the top. This is the food pyramid that we all know about and the one that was shown to us when we were in school.

The new food pyramid however, is completely different. Apart from the fact that it's become three dimensional and has a figure climbing up the side of it, this new food guide has also eliminated the horizontal lines. Instead we can now see lines starting from the tip of the pyramid and radiating downward.

Each of these sections are only as big, or small, as the earlier food pyramid sections were. Only with this new food pyramid, you now know that although you need to eat some food types more than others, even within those food groups there are some foods that you should only eat in moderation.

Additionally you'll also find that your new food pyramid is color coded. So you'll get an Orange stripe representing grains; a Green stripe for vegetables; a Red stripe for fruits; a Yellow stripe denoting how much fats and oils you should have; a Blue stripe for the milk and dairy products that you're allowed; and a Purple stripe showing you the quantities of meats, fish, beans and suchlike that you should eat in a day.

With six colored stripes denoting the quantities of food you should take, and a figure of a healthy person running up a flight of stairs on the side of it, this new food pyramid is definitely better than the old one, and can help you learn more about better eating habits, and a healthy lifestyle.

If you're a parent then you know just how important nutrition can be to your growing child. You'll also know just how difficult it is to get that nutrition into your child. It's an almost impossible task these days to get your child to eat properly, and it's probably a good bet that you don't get too many nutrition rich foods into you either. However, you do need to be aware of what a proper diet can do for you, and for this a guide to some food nutrition facts might just be what you need.

These days it's just so difficult to get anything into your kids mouths unless it's first been run through a vigorous treatment of processing. Anything where all the goodness has been leached out, or alternately where all the nutrition has been overwhelmed by other substances, is the type of food that you'll find is what your kids want to eat. And when you're in a hurry, this is the food that you'll resort to eating as well.

Almost all processed foods are at the root of all your bad eating habits, and you should become of aware of this so as to be able to at least put a halt on it. You won't be able to do it cold turkey, and you might not even be able to do it at all, but if you know your food nutrition facts it'll be that much easier for you to make an informed decision.

Food nutrition facts can help you decide what foods are not good for you and what foods are. You'll even come across some food nutrition facts that target fast foods alone. From this you should be able to decide which type of fast foods you really should stay away from, and which types are alright to eat.

When you start learning about food nutrition facts there's even a good chance that you might become so horrified to learn what you're eating that you might even try a complete change in your diet. Even if this only lasts for a little while, it's okay, since you've tried a better healthy living plan. You might lack the commitment to it now, but when you're ready you'll come back to it and start looking into all those food nutrition facts again.

There's really only one thing that you need to remember right now though, and that is that processed foods are bad for you. Along with artificially sweetened beverages these can become an unhealthy living style for you and your kids. So look into some food nutrition facts and find a better way of living and eating that will be healthier all around. You'll not only be healthier for it, but ultimately you'll be happier for it too.

For the person who's constantly going back and forth between one diet or another, there never seems to be much fun in their lives. I should know as I've been yo-yo dieting for most of my adult life now. I would go from one diet plan to another and stick with it only long enough for it to work a little. At which point I'd get tired of it and go back to my rounds of binge-eating. Naturally this wasn't healthy, and only by a great effort on my part have I now decided to turn my whole life around. Instead of alternately bingeing and dieting I've now decided to go the healthy route and am now going in for sensible eating ideas and regular exercise. I've also resorted to using a few really tasty low fat recipes to help me in my new get-fit regime.

I decided to try out some easy low fat recipes because when I first started on my sensible eating plan, I found there weren't really too many things that I could eat that were also good for me and tasty. I had always scorned any low fat foods and meals since they didn't seem to taste very good, but since then I've learned a lot, and have found great ways to make easy low fat recipes that tickle my taste buds.

A few years ago sadly enough this wasn't the case and it was really difficult to get any really good tasting low fat recipes that could satisfy your hunger at the same time as well. Or at least that was my perception at the time. Luckily I found out that I was wrong and that if you prepare your meals with care using some easy low fat recipes you could turn out a dish to rival any of the ones swimming in fats.

Eating low fat meals is just another sensible way to contain your excess food and fat intake. Having easy low fat recipes on hand however, just makes it all the more easier for you to stick your new plan. Think about it, if you have to slave over the stove for a long time only to produce something that's only slightly edible, and has no compensation of fats in it either would you really do it? I didn't think so. Everyone needs motivation to do something and using easy low fat recipes is one the best ways that I've found to stay on my sensible eating regime.

These recipes need not be hard to remember, and they don't need to utilize a lot of ingredients either. So you can either have them handy on a few card sheets, or you could just stick them up on the refrigerator for them to be in plain sight always. Whatever you decide though, I've found that easy low fat recipes are my ticket to getting my life back into order, and my weight back into a good balance.

No matter where you go or what you're doing these days, you are sure to be bombarded on all sides by slogans, advertising campaigns and health conscious people about your own health and how to look after it properly. This extends to every aspect of your life, including what you eat and where you can get it. This is where the organic health food store comes into your otherwise peaceful existence.

You are forced to leave your normal easy lifestyle to adopt one which most definitely better suited for you, but which is also too much hassle in this and age of convenience foods.

The world might be changing its outlook on these things and finding them lacking in anything resembling nutrition, but they are the staple of you life and you have gotten used to them to such an extent that weaning you off these foods is somewhat along the lines of weaning someone off smoking twenty packs of cigarettes a day.

You have to be dragged down kicking and screaming to the nearest organic health food store by those people who profess to love and care for you, when in reality if they cared even one iota for you, they would leave you alone in your singular little rut of eating overcooked TV dinners, greasy fat-filled hamburgers and fries, and sugar laden drinks and desserts. That's of course assuming they care about you.

But since your family and friends are heartless monsters who enjoy seeing you suffer being in the best of health, you unfortunately have no choice but to go along with their whims and fancies of the moment. And in this case, the moment seems to be stretching out into an eternity of having to eat healthy organically grown and produced foods and this in turn necessitates your having to go on a frequent basis down to your local (or nearest) organic health food store.

Of course if you really tried hard you might be able to get back to your unhealthy lifestyle of one pot of coffee in the morning and another two or three pots as the day progresses. Unfortunately though fate does not seem to be on your side and you find that even when you try to break free of the imposed health food diet, you can't.

Why? Because now you're used to it and all the grease in those greasy hamburgers is enough to turn you green – literally. This is unfortunately your lot in life now and you find yourself frequenting the organic health food store more and more often as your taste buds decide to rejoin the living, and your palate finds enjoyment once again in your meals.

Although it took some time for organic foods per se to truly catch the attention of the general populace, the organic food market these days is a thriving industry and one that can only become bigger as the years progress and more and more people turn away from chemical enriched foods.

Of course not everyone cares about exactly what they eat or how it was produced, if they did we wouldn't have had a need for a separate "organic food market", would we? The fact remains however that some people do care, and although the number isn't yet overwhelming, it is growing annually at healthy percentage.

This in turn paves the way to open up the organic food market even more. And this means that the prices of organic foods also come down, which is a heaven-sent opportunity really to garner more and more people to the side of organic foods.

Why? Simply because as the prices come down to something manageable, and the whole fad of being healthy, living healthy and eating healthy builds up slowly, more people will turn more willingly towards the organic food market than they might otherwise have done if the price tags on organic foods remained high.

This in turn will spur more farmers to go organic than otherwise would have, if there was only a small consumer base for the organic food market. And this in turn, will help to bring more organic food to the consumer.

It's definitely a cycle and not a vicious one unless of course you're a farmer who prefers the use of chemical pesticides over natural ones, artificial fertilizers over natural fertilizers, and who doesn't mind that they are using genetically modified plants and seed stock as their crops.

It is also interesting to note that the organic food market doesn't only encompass produce in the form of fruits and vegetables, but it only encompasses such things as dairy products, meats, fish, poultry, and processed foods as well.

This means that the production of organic foods is down not only to produce farmers, but also to livestock farmers and plants that generate processed foods. In fact, the spread of the organic food market doesn't stop there. It goes on to encompass health food stores as well as grocery stores interested in selling organic foods, and specialty stores that deal only in organically grown, cultivated or managed foods.

And to truly understand how wide open the organic food market really is, all you need to is to look into pet stores and the items they are selling. Organic foods it seems, has spilled over into this area as well, and health conscious pet owners can now find organic pet foods littering the pet stores as well!

Although some people would like to go organic and lead a healthier lifestyle, they find themselves stopped by a few things. Among these little stumbling blocks in their paths to going organic, are things like the cost of organic foods, the ready unavailability of organic foods, as well as the little fact that they will also need to find organic food recipes to go with their new lifestyle.

This is in fact a major stumbling block for many people who balk at the thought of not only changing their eating and dietary lifestyles, but of also having to change a lifetime's worth of cooking experience to accommodate their new healthy lifestyle.

The fact of the matter is that people will go to the trouble of finding organic food suppliers, and of buying their costlier organic meats, dairy and produce, but when they have to actually sit down and find organic food recipes to go along with everything they've done thus far, their enthusiasm starts to wane.

This is where people actually tend to go wrong and miss the point. There is no such thing as special organic food recipes just as there is no special method of preparing the foods you buy which are organic.

The whole point is not to have to slog away looking for organic food recipes, replacing the ones you already have and know how to cook well, but to make your entire lifestyle healthier, of which the use of the use of organic foods in your cooking endeavors being a large part.

The trick then to going organic and finding yourself cooking organic food recipes, is to use the same old recipes which you've been using thus far and transform them into something other than artery clogging, waistline expanding, sugar level increasing foods.

In other words, now that you've gone organic and are using organic foods in your life, you also need to make your cooking style a healthier one as well. This means that if you're using what amounts to a gallon of fat or oil per day, you might want to cut down on it to almost nothing!

Of course any dietary changes that you make, if they are going to be extensive should be discussed with your physician as you will then be able to get a better picture of what proper changes you need to make. The same advice applies if you have an underlying medical condition which requires you to have a special diet.

Replacing your normal foods with organic foods is fine, but you will need to make sure that when you turn your normal everyday recipes into organic food recipes, that you don't change your dietary habits in such a radical manner as to be harmful to you. If you're careful and follow a sensible dietary plan, you won't really have to make too many food-sacrifices if at all to offset your newly acquired organic food habits.

So you've gone organic but now you're finding that it's difficult to stick to your goal of staying organic. You need help, but most definitely you won't find it without trying. And one of the best ways of keeping your resolutions to stay organic, is by first of all finding an organic food store near you.

Why would you want to do this first of all? For the simple reason that if you have a ready source where you can find your daily organic food needs, you will be that much eager and able to keep to your resolution. And if you can't find an organic food store near where you live, find one that's on the way to work, or barring that find one that's on the way to your favorite shopping mall.

These all give you reasons to swing by the organic food store, whereas if you have to go too out of your way to get to your organic food store you will find yourself wavering and putting it off one too many times. This is when things start to go belly up and you find yourself once more enjoying the find dining of such establishments that serve greasy hamburgers, fries, bacon and sludge like coffee.

And if you can't find an organic food store in any of these easy to reach places, don't trouble yourself by looking further away. Go straight back home and head to your nearest online organic food store. This is an easy option for you to take and one that will make it easier for you to stay true to your goal of staying organic.

The next thing that you will want to do after finding your organic food store is to decide on a new goal. Make your original target of staying organic your main target, and switch to some new short term goals that will help you to accomplish what you need.

For instance you can very easily set weekly, even daily goals for you to reach. By doing this you are keeping yourself motivated and willing to stay organic. And the real reason for reaching these goals on the days when staying organic is definitely too much trouble to contemplate? The suitable reward you give yourself.

As long as the reward isn't in the form of a day off of eating organic foods, the just about anything else that will help you will be alright. Yes, even eating that greasy-spoon hamburger on the way back from work. The key thing here is to stay focused on your long term goal and let the smaller occurrences of falling off the organic food wagon, go by unnoticed.

If you're thinking about going organic there are a few things which you might want to look into first. And one of the most important aspects of trying to go organic is finding good organic food suppliers from whom you can get your organic foods. This includes not only organic fruits and vegetables, but also organic meat and poultry, organic dairy produce as well as organic processed foods.

All of these things come under the heading of organic foods, and when you're looking to find organic food suppliers for your own needs, then you will have to take these into account as well. On the one hand, and depending on where you live, you have the option of going to the source to get your organic foods, but this will only work if you live in close proximity to organic farmers.

If you do live near an organically run farm, then you have will most likely not have a problem obtaining your organic produce and things. However, since an organic farm will only be able to produce a limited number of organically grown items, it does behoove you to find other organic food suppliers who will be able to look after your other organic needs.

If on the other hand you live in a big city which is miles away from the nearest organic farm, you will have to look around for your organic food suppliers. The best place for you to look would be your local food chain or supermarket, but it's not guaranteed that these places will a) have organic foods to begin with; and b) whether they will have a wide range of organic products for you to choose from.

That said, your next option when looking at organic food suppliers is to locate your nearest health store, make certain that it sells organic foods items and go there for all your organic food needs.

This option however, comes with a few drawbacks, the largest one being the elevated price. Not all health food stores will be expensive, but to a very great extent many health food stores carry food items which are costly, and when you throw in the word "organic" into that mix, it just drives up the prices. Organic foods are costly enough without having to add health food store prices into it as well.

Another option for you to take, and this does seem to be your best option is to go through the many online organic food suppliers to get your organic food needs. Here you will find that you have a larger array of organic foods to choose from as well as a larger number of organic food suppliers to choose from.

Whether you're looking for organic foods online or in your local supermarket, the one thing that you can be assured of is that you will be able to find at least one or two organic products. Granted you will want more than one or two organic products to tide you over for the week, but it does go to show you how far organic foods have really come in the last few years.

From near obscurity to actually being sold in places outside of health food stores is no small feat, especially when you take in the opposition it has to face in the guise of processed foods, and the more readily available non-organic foods. If you're looking for a ready source of organic foods however, your best bet is to turn to suppliers of organic foods online.

These organics foods suppliers come with more than a few benefits, one of which is the fact that your foods will more often than not, be delivered straight to your door. This saves you the hassle of fighting your way through rush hour traffic to get to your grocers, and also saves you the trouble of having your toes run over by errant shopping carts.

That's just one benefit of course that you gain by getting your organic foods online. Another great benefit is that you have a ready supply of organic foods at the touch of a button. You also have a larger supply of organic foods to choose from, both the natural organic food variety as well as the processed organic food variety.

This means that you have necessarily a larger choice than you would otherwise have had in a normal grocery store selling organic foods. You will also find that this applies to the online version of your favorite supermarket. Their selection of organic foods online will be greater than what you might find in their stores, and these also include the maybe-not-so-readily available organic meats.

It's easier to find organic produce and organic processed foods than it is to find organic meats, but by using the internet to facilitate your weekly shopping you will find just about all your organic foods online.

And if you're still not convinced, you also have an added benefit in the form of lowered monthly food bills. You might have gone organic, but that doesn't mean that you need to pay through your nose for it. If you get your organic foods in-store, be it a supermarket or a health food store, you will find that your weekly expenditure is more.

By getting your organic foods online you will find that your costs come down a significant amount. Of course to get this last benefit you will need to do a little bit of research and find an online store which will give you lower prices with the same great quality that you look for, but in the end it will be worth the effort.

Article Title: Change Your Entire Dietary Lifestyle With Organic Meats

Not everyone knows about the fact that you can get not only organic produce but also organic meats. This enables you to change your entire dietary lifestyle if you so wish, without having to compromise on such things as organic meats and organic dairy products, substituting the non-organic stuff instead.

In fact, if you do your grocery shopping in a place where organic foods are readily available, you will find the organic meats and dairy products to be readily available alongside their stock of organic fruits, vegetables and processed foods. This is also true, maybe especially more so, of online organic food stores and suppliers.

So what is the deal with organic meats? Well for one thing, organically reared animals are treated to a different regimen than animals reared on normal farms. For one thing, these animals are only fed organic foods.

This means that they don't have any non-organic foods in their diets at all from the very beginning. They are only fed on high quality organic produce. There is also the small factor of not having any antibiotics pumped into these animals as well as not being subject to other potentially harmful toxins.

Just because you prefer organic foods, it doesn't mean that you have to become vegetarian or even vegan. You can still enjoy the same sumptuous foursquare meals that you're used to without loss of vital ingredients. This is where knowing where to get your organic meats can come in handy.

And part and parcel with organic meats, come organic dairy products. Since animals reared in an organic farming environment will also produce organic dairy products as well, you have that assurance that you can still enjoy your port and cheese!

All that aside, when you're looking at organic meats, you will also want to look at the various processed organic foods as well, that contains meat. Unless it has been specifically stated that the ingredients within the packaging s 100% organic you might find yourself faced with only some of the items being organic.

This applies to any meats to be found in the product as well. Unless it has been stated specifically that the meats contained are organic meats you might want to think twice before buying these types of processed foods.

If you're having trouble finding not only organic meats but organic fish as well, you might want to try your hand at finding an organic foods supplier online. You will more than likely have better luck at these places finding, and purchasing, your organic meats, fish and dairy produce.

Attacking anxiety depression is unfortunately another problem that sufferers of anxiety disorders might also have to deal with. This isn't to say that all people who suffer from one form of anxiety disorders or another will suffer from depression, merely that if you suffer from constant anxiety attacks there's a good chance that you might also suffer from depression.

This is by no means a given and don't take it as such; it's merely a statement of fact. Attacking anxiety depression need not be a necessary course of action for you, but if you find yourself unable to cope with the many stresses that your anxiety attacks brings upon you, then you might just find yourself fighting depression alongside your anxiety.

Generally speaking though anxiety depression comes through over a course of time and comes in so gradually that you're probably unaware of it until some time has passed. If you let your anxiety attacks become a controlling factor in your life and don't seek help, then as your anxiety attacks become worse so too will your anxiety depression progress.

The helpless feelings you get with your anxiety attacks, the sheer inability and frustration of not being able to control your reactions can alone bring on anxiety depression. This coupled with the debilitating fear that takes hold of you can sometimes lead to severe depression, which can in turn contribute to increased anxiety attacks and so on in a vicious cycle. So really, attacking anxiety depression head-on is the best thing that you can do to help yourself break out of this cycle and there are many ways that you can do this.

The easiest and most sought after method for attacking anxiety depression is in the form of medications. Your doctor can help you with that one, but chances are that if you're already taking medication for your anxiety you'll be taking an anti-depressant medication as well. The reason for this being that the drugs available to treat anxiety are also the same drugs used to treat depression as well. So if you still feel depressed talk with your doctor about changing your medication for one better suited to you.

Another great method for attacking anxiety depression comes in the form of a qualified therapist. Along with treating your anxiety disorders through therapeutic methods a therapist can also help to alleviate your symptoms of depression, sometimes helping you to perhaps eradicate it altogether. Don't underestimate the power of talking.

There are also many alternative and natural methods you can use in attacking anxiety depression and these run the gamut from the use of herbs in your daily life to the use of such alternative treatments such as Ayurveda or Acupuncture.

Many or all these methods might not work for you but your best recourse in attacking anxiety depression lies in trying until you find the right method for you. Just remember to get qualified medical help when you try out any new treatment method.

Our bodies have evolved and developed to deal with the various changes that take place in our lives. Sometimes however those changes can bring unwanted stress to us. While stress in small amounts is quite normal and our bodies are capable of dealing with this pressure, large amounts of continual stress can harm our mental outlook. The continual amount of pressure within a person's life can lead to anxiety and stress as they bring down self esteem.

Feelings of depression can also occur because of this excessive stress that we need to cope with. While there are therapies and medications that can deal with full blown anxiety disorders, you might want to practice a few techniques for coping with anxiety and stress.

These methods aren't substitutes for skilled medical advice or medications. They are ways that you can try and reduce your anxiety and stress. For people who have anxiety disorders the best treatment that you can get is from your doctor.

The techniques for controlling your anxiety and stress are as follows. Be flexible in your life. Accept what you can and can't change. Enjoy laughing, watching a funny movie, telling a joke or even reading comics. Learn to breathe slowly and deeply from your diaphragm. Pace yourself in what tasks you do, delegate to others tasks that might be too much for you to accomplish, and learn to say "no".

Understand that everyone makes mistakes. Accept that perfection is impossible and that trying to achieve that goal will just make you miserable. Have some fun by playing with friends, family and any pets that you have. Having fun is a natural way of lowering your body's anxiety and stress. Another way to have fun is to do some exercise. Exercise produces endorphins, which are natural pain-killers and pleasure-producers.

Make sure that your diet is healthy as well as delicious. Try and avoid foods and beverages that bring out anxiety and stress hormones. Coffee, tea, alcohol and cigarettes might be enjoyable but they can increase your stress levels.

Share your problems with people you can trust and who can help put things into perspective. Handling life's burdens alone can make sufferers of anxiety and stress even worse off. Therefore solve your problems one at a time. Try not to let them pile up until they seem overwhelming. Set goals that you can achieve easily. This way you will not be discouraged and stressed out because of the many problems facing you.

Finally accept that everything and everyone in life changes. Sometimes this change is good and other times it's painful. No matter what the outcome is you need time to adjust to this change and what it's brought to your life. By keeping a time for adjusting you can reduce the anxiety and stress that will occur due to the new happenings in your life. Don't le anxiety and stress get you down, go out and have some fun and enjoy life – after all you only live once.

There are many people in the world who suffer from some form of anxiety and for these people these anxiety attacks may be mild or they could be very severe. While there are many ways of treating anxiety attacks, it's first important to identify what your anxiety attack symptoms are.

There are the physical symptoms of anxiety attacks that manifest themselves in the form of headaches, dizziness, lightheadedness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, tingling, pale complexion, numbness, difficulty in breathing, and sensations of tightness in the chest, neck, shoulders and or hands. These reactions are the body's fight-or-flight reaction which involves the hormones, muscles and the heart.

The behavioral anxiety attack symptoms include pacing, trembling, general restlessness, hyperventilation, pressured speech, wringing of the hands, and even finger tapping. Then the cognitive anxiety attack symptoms include recurrent or obsessive thoughts, feelings of doom, and morbid thoughts of death, confusion or the inability to concentrate.

The emotional anxiety attack symptoms can include feelings of tension or nervousness, feeling agitated, overwrought, and feelings of unreality, panic, or even terror. Then there are also the anxiety attack symptoms where the person's brain puts up a defense mechanism against the anxiety attacks.

These psychological defenses include repressing anxious thoughts or ideas out of the conscious awareness. Another anxiety attack symptom is where the sufferer will transfer the source of their anxiety to an object or an event. Phobias are an example of this anxiety attack transference. Then there are the times that a person who suffers from anxiety attacks will rationalize their anxious feelings by claiming that ordinary people would feel the same way were they placed in the exact situation.

The other method that the brain will use as a defense against anxiety attacks manifests itself in the form of physical complaints and illnesses. In this case the anxiety attack symptoms involve recurrent headaches, an upset stomach, and muscle and joint pains.

Delusions are one other way of the brain trying to defend the sufferer from the anxiety attacks. For these anxiety attack symptoms the person can formulate conspiracy theories or other similar scenarios. This gives the person an emotional outlet for their feelings of anxiety.

It doesn't really matter what form these symptoms show themselves in. What's really important is once you identify that these are signs of anxiety attacks that you seek and receive help and treatment for this condition. By catching these anxiety attack symptoms early you have a chance to stop it progressing to a more severe condition like agoraphobia where you may become housebound due to your excessive anxiety attacks. So don't delay if you feel that you suffer from anxiety attack symptoms, go see a qualified medical practitioner as soon as possible and get the proper help.

The symptoms of panic can hit any one of us. This is a normal human defense mechanism called the 'fight or flight' instinct and this defensive mechanism has helped humans evolve to the state that we're in now. However, our day to day stress filled lives can bring unwanted anxieties into our spheres and it's when these anxieties repeatedly occur that they can turn into an anxiety panic disorder.

Anxiety and panic can strike anyone at any time and these attacks can be debilitating as your entire life becomes centered on waiting for a panic attack to strike. The feelings can make you feel that you're experiencing a stroke, a heart attack or even that you're dying. When no medical help can be found to treat this "mysterious" condition, then you're left to wonder when the next attack may happen. As you're unable to predict the next attack you become extremely anxious and you might also develop a lingering and intense worry that your next attack could happen the next minute.

These intense emotions can keep you on a roller coaster of anxiety and panic. The more these symptoms are repeated, your brain begins to dictate how you should live so as not to experience any more panic attacks. This then, spirals into anxiety panic disorder.

The symptoms of anxiety panic disorder include pounding heart, weakness, feelings of being faint, and dizziness. Your hands may feel numb or they may tingle. You will experience chest pains, smothering sensations, a sense of unreality. All of these feelings may lead you to believe that you are having a heart attack, a stroke or even dying.

Anxiety panic disorder attacks can occur at any time. These attacks can last anywhere from a few minutes up to 10 minutes and there are even rare cases where a case anxiety panic disorder can last for about an hour.

For people who suffer from anxiety panic disorder there are other maladies that need to be treated as well. Depression and alcoholism are some of the accompanying illnesses and sometimes panic attacks can spawn phobias as well. These phobias occur where a panic attack first happened. This may even cause an anxiety panic disorder sufferer to restrict their lives so they avoid situations that might invite another attack.

If you suffer from an anxiety panic disorder you'll know just how debilitating it can be. To that end an anxiety panic disorder sufferer has a number of options to choose from to either learn to cope with their condition or to find a fitting cure. The first step however, is as always in your hands – only you can find a suitable method of 'cope or cure' for your anxiety panic disorder.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Blaenavon history is well recorded - up to a point, because the bulk of the published history of Blaenavon focuses on its development into one of the major iron towns in the world during the 19th century.

Very little has been published since 1900, when Blaenavon, like many industrial towns in Wales, faced a great deal of upheaval and changes to its social structure and ultimate fortunes. This is epitomized by the fact that Blaenavon once boasted two busy passenger railway stations, and now has none.

Blaenavon is situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. It lies at the head of the Afon Llwyd (Grey River) Valley lying between the Coity and Blorenge mountains, although more toward the Blorenge side (pronounced like 'orange'). It lies six miles north of Pontypool and seven west of Abergavenny, and was fairly isolated, sitting halfway up a mountain, when its rich mineral deposits were regarded as an opportunity by a team of Northern Englishmen who decided to make use of them.

This is not intended as a discourse on Blaenavon history, but more on how circumstances can easily lead to a once vibrant town into decline, and how the people of such a town can decide to pull it back up again by its bootstraps to become a vibrant community once more.

During the 18th and 19th centuries Blaenavon grew into one of the most significant iron and steel production areas in the entire world, and even now its ruined though regenerated ironworks is still the best preserved and largest of its kind in Europe. The town's one remaining coal mine, Big Pit, is the National Mining Museum of Wales, enabling visitors free access to guided tours underground, showing them the type of work and hardships faced by those that mined the coal that once fed the furnaces and their fireplaces.

However, Blaenavon history is not just about its iron, since it was here that the production of high quality steel by the Bessemer Process was finally made possible. The phosphorus present in iron had hitherto rendered steel a tough but brittle metal that was easily fractured. It was in Blaenavon that the tests were carried out by Gilchrist Thomas that finally enabled phosphorus-free iron to be produced, paving the way for steel with real toughness to be produced in Blaenavon and all over the world - a genuine Blaenavon world first of which most of Britain is unaware.

The remains of the forges, the slag heaps of coal residues and iron ore and the various horse-drawn tramways over the surrounding countryside all contributed to the industrial landscape of Blaenavon and its environs being awarded the accolade of being inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in December 2000 because of its significance to the iron and steel industry during the 18th and 19th centuries.

But what of the 20th century? What of Blaenavon history during the two World Wars, and what of its people as the demand for Blaenavon steel dropped and its production became the domain of the massive steel plants of Europe, the USA and Asia? Blaenavon's story then becomes a different one: one of resilience, community spirit and a strong desire to retain its place as a leader of industry in Wales and the UK.

After all, Big Pit produced coal until February 1980, so industry did not just die out suddenly. The town was home to many refugees from the main Luftwaffe targets during World War II, and the people of Blaenavon worked hard to keep their proud town playing its part in producing the coal, iron and steel needed by Britain and many other parts of the world into the 20th century. Blaenavon even had its own brickworks.

When the iron works ceased production in 1904, it was seen as the beginning of the decline, production being transferred to the newer plants of nearby Forgeside. However, it was not until the 1960s that the old ironworks finally closed. Since then it has been earmarked for demolition, saved by the local council and then refurbished into a magnificent tourist attraction. Blaenavon railway is being refurbished by a group of volunteers, and the entire area is in the process of regeneration with help of local councils and local people.

So, what makes a World Heritage Site? Certainly, it takes a man-made wonder such as the Taj Mahal or the Great Wall of China, but it also takes the efforts of ordinary people such as you and me to make a difference, and get their own beloved town back on the map where it belongs. Blaenavon history offers a living example of what can be done if people put their mind to it, and it could be done anywhere - with ordinary people that have the will to do so!

If you have a need for paternity testing, Ireland can offer a number of options in the field of DNA testing. Ireland is now just as capable as any other country of providing the public with a DNA paternity test on request, even though it is only relatively recently that such services have been directly available in the country.

Generally, it has been necessary to send samples elsewhere for private DNA tests. Sure, forensic DNA analysis has been available for official testing, but these services have not been available for the public to use. Now you can carry out DNA paternity testing in Ireland if you have a need to establish who the father of a child is.

First, a few comments on the need for DNA testing, and why, with regard to Paternity testing, Ireland has been chosen by testing companies to set up Irish offices. Ireland is part of the EU, and with an increasing number of countries joining the EU, this country along with many others will possibly be subject to an influx of immigrants.

Immigration is not necessarily a serious problem, but it can be when they also claim entry for their close relatives. DNA testing, Ireland, UK, France or any other EU country, will become increasingly more important in determining the truth of claimed relationships, particularly father and child relationships.

Here are few reasons why for DNA testing, Ireland is attracting an increasing number of facilities to carry out this important work simply because it is a member of the EU. Other countries are the same, and the same services are available all over the UK and Europe.

    1. Peace of Mind

The mother, potential father and the child might all at some time need definitive proof of paternity simply to set their mind at rest. Children like to know who their biological father is irrespective of who is raising them, and either 'parent' may have reason to need some form of confirmation. The only thing that can be certain to a mother is that a child is hers. A father only has her word for it that he is the father of her child, and at some time he might want some form of confirmation.

In discussions about the need for paternity testing, Ireland has sometimes been regarded as unprofitable for private DNA testing services, but it is now understood that not only does the country have the same paternity problems as anywhere else in the world, but that the expansion of the European Community has raised a few unexpected problems. First, however, some of the more traditional needs for DNA paternity testing, Ireland or anywhere else.

    2. Wills and Inheritances

When a will is being written or even when an inheritance issue is being challenged, there might be a need for any children involved to be subject to DNA testing. Ireland is part of the EU and both Human and Statutory Rights might become an issue in the event of children demanding their share of an inheritance if they have reason to believe that they are offspring of the deceased.

No man would be happy leaving his money to another man's child, and in many cases children have been excluded from a will in the mistaken belief that they are not the issue of the testator. A simply paternity test will establish the truth once and for all, and with regard to DNA testing, Ireland now has its own private testing services that the public can access.

    3. Determining Siblings

Another reason for a paternity test in Ireland is that it is sometimes necessary to determine whether or not two young people are siblings - or at least share the same father. This could again be due to a will or inheritance, but there could also be other reasons for DNA paternity testing to be necessary. Such siblings cannot legally marry, for example, and there are many situations where parenthood can only be determined by testing the children and the father.

    4. Immigration

Immigration can be another reason for paternity testing, Ireland being part of the EU and therefore subject to allowing immigrants of certain nationalities to take up residence in the country. There may be circumstances when such immigrants claim to have children or parents living abroad who should also be allowed in. By carrying out DNA testing, Ireland immigration authorities can determine the truth of such claims.

Finally, the objective of paternity testing is to establish who the father of a child is beyond reasonable doubt. Not all paternity tests in Ireland are legal in the eyes of the courts, and for any purpose other than for peace of mind, the DNA paternity test has to be carried out under strict supervision with recorded sample custody.

Nevertheless, the peace of mind tests are generally enough for most paternity testing, Ireland being no different to any other country in that respect, although there will no doubt be an increasing number of legal DNA paternity testing carried out as immigration increases.

About The Author: More information on how to have paternity tests carried out in Ireland is available from http://www.paternitytest.ie where you will find the range of DNA tests available, including paternity testing.

Article Title: Online Free Movies and Bootleg Movies - Keep it Legal

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Online free movies are not declining as fast as the movie industry would like, and bootleg movies are becoming more readily available. The problem is that this is not what the movie moguls want to see, and they are racking their brains as to how they can stop this.

It isn't the little guys that are causing all the problems, it's the big guys from Asia who are copying hundreds and even thousands of copies of major blockbusters in rooms banked up full of recording equipment. They then have them professionally printed, sleeved and offered on the open market as genuine originals. Sure, you may not see these being offered in your local market or record store (oh yeh?), but go to eBay and tell me which are legal and which are not!

    The Legality of Bootleg Movies

The argument continues as to the legality of using peer to peer (P2P) file sharing services to download bootleg movies after the payment of a single lifetime membership fee. Who really cares anymore? Everybody knows the arguments for and against online free movies and bootleg movies, and the music industry has an even worse problem. While it is agreed that people should not download copyrighted material without paying for each DVD, each game or each music track, why is made so easy for them to do so?

It's like a jeweler leaving the door wide open and saying 'Come in look while I am in bed each night, but don't steal the watches and diamond rings. Take what you want and leave the cash in the till. How laughable would somebody be if they actually did such a thing, yet that is exactly what the movie and music industries are doing by making such files available for download, but asking us not to. They could put a copy or download block on their files!

I Am Not in Favor of Downloading Bootleg Movies

Let me make it clear right now where my stance is on this matter: I am not in favor of you downloading movies or music free, but neither am I in favor of big corporations with all their resources expecting me to do something about it - even to trying to close websites. It is illegal to download copyright material, and if it was made in the last 60 years it will almost certainly still be under copyright, unless it has been published into the public domain. Then it is free for all.

The music and movie industry are so boiled up about it, that they have persuaded the US government to increase the copyright period to 60 years after a writer's or composers' death. In respect of a movie, it has to be made from 1950 or earlier before you can legally download it without permission or payment. In fact, artists do give permission to use P2P file sharing to download their work free of charge. It gets their name known so that their next 'Big Thing' will hit the ground running - but I digress.

Fortunately for all of us there are several legal movie, games and music download sites that offer legal online free movies and even legal bootleg movies. Some are offered from video storage businesses that have vast numbers of videos that are legal for you to download because the copyright on then has been released.

    Falling Coconuts

However, there are more online free movies that are no more than bootleg movies, downloaded in spite of copyright and distributed on P2P file sharing networks. Whichever you use is your choice, but you can choose between the legal video downloads and online free movies they offer, or the bootleg movies and trust to not being caught: very few have been, and many believe it to be worth the risk.

I disagree: even though you have as much chance of being killed by a falling coconut than being caught downloading bootleg movies through online free movies download sites, I feel that you should stick to the legal downloads - there are many of them although the same software service is used to download both. Incidentally, more people die through coconuts falling on their heads than get killed by sharks each year - so stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

It could be argued that earlobe stretching has been in fashion for millennia since it has been common in many civilizations for thousands of years. Some don't just leave it there, and have made stretching of lips and even the fleshy parts of nose into an art form. However, in Western civilization today, it is the next logical step after tragus and other forms of cartilage piercing have become commonplace.

In earlobe stretching, or earlobe gauging as it is technically known, the original ear piercing is allowed to fully heal while remaining open, and then increased in diameter, or gauge, in small increments, each step being permitted to heal before continuing with the next.

The 'gauge' reference begins at the highest figure, 20g, for the smallest size hole, 0.8 mm and goes all the way down to 00g, or 9 - 10 mm. So as the diameter of the piercing increases, the gauge drops, and after 00g any further increase is expressed in the diameter of the pin, the step after 00g being 11 mm. So, increasing the size of the ear piercing is referred to as 'gauging down'.

So how is earlobe stretching carried out in practice, and must it be carried out by a professional? In fact, gauging earlobes is not difficult, and you can do it yourself, or have a friend do it for you. However, there are some rules that you must obey strictly, or you could end up damaging your ears. Here are the basic procedures involved in stretching your earlobes.

    1. Cleanliness

It is very important to keep your earlobes and hands clean when doing this so as to avoid infection. First wash your ears and your hands with antibacterial soap - preferably the non-perfumed type. Then soften your lobes a bit by soaking them in warm water.

    2. Lubrication

It will make it easier to insert the taper if you first lubricate it. Use a water-based or emulsified oil, such as jojoba oil or emu oil, and smear it over the taper. Never use a petroleum based oil such a petrolatum, or Vaseline, because that can harbor germs.

    3. The Taper

The normal way to increase the diameter of your piercing is insert a taper that increases in diameter from one gauge to the next. You should begin with the thin end being no greater than your existing piercing diameter and the thicker end no more one that one step lower, eg from 16g to 14g. For some reason gauge seizes go down in steps of 2, so they are always even.

You have a number of possible choices in the design of the taper. An 'insertion taper' is about 3 inches long, tapering from your normal size up to the next, and as you slowly work it through your ear piercing you follow it up with your choice of ear jewelry, also lubricated, right behind it so it is practically touching the wide end of the taper when it enters you ear lobe. Thus the new size ear jewelry enters the piercing easily right behind the taper.

A 'taper spike' is shorter, and intended to stay in the earlobe, secured by elastic bands, until the expansion has healed. It is inserted in the same way as the insertion taper, but there is no need for the ear jewelry. Finally, a 'taper ring' is ear jewelry with a tapered pin that works the same as the taper spike, only it is more decorative.

Wash your hands with anti-bacterial soap immediately after completion. In each of these cases, the piercing should be left until it has fully healed before going to the next gauge down, or next size up. The procedure should not be excessively painful, and there should be no bleeding. It may not feel comfortable while you are doing it, but it should be bearable. If the pain is severe, or if bleeding occurs, stop immediately and wait until your piercing has thoroughly healed before trying again.

Earlobe stretching can be uncomfortable for a day or two, and also while sleeping, so you might want to consider doing both earlobes at the same time. Gauging earlobes looks cool when it has been completed, but it takes a long time to get to those really large piercings with the big hollow rings or flesh tunnels through your lobes. Nevertheless, it is not difficult to do if you are patient and allow everything to heal up between
