Article Title: Is A Steam Bath In Your Future?

What is a steam bath? Well the term is used relatively loosely other terms for a steam bath are a steam shower and steam rooms some even consider a sauna a steam bath. The steam shower comes from the fact that most steam baths are actually enclosed shower units. These are great fro the simple fact that they are incorporated with your shower unit. A steam generator is added to produce steam which in tern heats the shower enclosure. Unlike a sauna a steam bath uses a lot of moisture in the air with a reduced temperature compared to a sauna. The beginning and end of a proper steam bath include a cleansing shower in the beginning and a cool down shower to end the steam bath.

A steam room is like a large sauna like you would see at a club or health spa again the steam room is heated by steam and uses a lower temperature than a sauna. You should limit yourself t 15 to 20 minute sessions and then cool down with a shower to close your pores. Many claims to health benefits have been claimed over the years and depending on who you listen to they include everything from eliminating stress to weight loss. I am not sure that I agree with any of these claims. I do know however after a steam bath I feel revitalized and ready to greet the fast paced world again.

Steam baths have become more popular in recent years as the ability to have one included with your shower unit is appealing as no additional space is required the addition of a steam generator is basically the only additional piece of equipment and the steam generator can be mounted out of site under a cabinet in the basement or attic all that is required is an electric hook up and a water supply. In the shower a steam nozzle and the controls are the only visible addition.

Be sure to check with your doctor before using a steam bath if you have any physical problems that could be affected by the increase blood flow or if you are pregnant. As with any type of exercise start out easy limit your use to a few minutes in the beginning and never use alcohol or any other drugs that could cause you to fall asleep or pass out.

Whether your planning on building a new home or are just remolding bathroom you may want to consider adding a steam bath not only will it add to the value of your home you will have the use of it with out taking up any additional floor space like a sauna or a spa also there is almost no additional maintenance unlike a spa.

Saunas have the ability to improve your health by allowing the body to remove toxins, improving circulation, and increasing metobolic rates. Now it is possible to have a prefabricated or precut sauna installed easily in your own home. If you're reluctant to use public saunas, or would like the convenience of your own personal home sauna, you can order and install one quickly and simply. New technologies such as infrared saunas remove the need for plumbing. It's easy to find a prefabricated sauna in an affordable price range for the space you have to fit. Standard packages as small as 4'x4' are available. You can install them yourself, or hire the work done. Either way, it's never been easier to have your own personal home sauna.

Benefits of having your own personal sauna include enhanced blood circulation, immune system boosting, detoxification of tissues, renewed and rejuvenated skin, muscle relaxation and reduction of stress. The heat in a sauna enters the skin and causes the blood vessels to dilate, bringing more blood flow to the surface of your body. This nourishes the skin, improves the health of your circulatory system, and makes you feel more alive and energized. Sweating caused by the heating of the skin and tissues draws toxins out of the body. Greater quantities of sweat are said to draw out more toxins. With a home sauna, you can perform this cleansing procedure as often as you would like, without the hassle of waiting at the gym.

When using your home sauna, be sure to avoid alcohol, or medications that impair sweating. It is important that you are able to cleanse your body of impurities in the sauna. You should stay in the sauna for no more than a fifteen to twenty minute session, and cool down gradually afterward. Be sure to hydrate yourself before and after a sauna. Most people lose more than a pint of water through sweat while using a sauna, and that water must be replaced. You should also not use the sauna when you are ill. Some people have difficulties with the heat level in traditional saunas. Infrared saunas, which operate at lower temperatures, are more appropriate for these people. Pregnant women should not take sauna baths.

If you want to cleanse your body, improve your metabolic rate, and increase your overall health in the comfort of your own home, a personal home sauna might be for you. Reasonably priced and pre-measured to fit your space, saunas are available to fit everyone's needs. Precut sauna packages come with all the precut wood needed to build a luxurious home sauna at a reasonable price. Prefabricated saunas cost a little bit more, but almost all the parts, including doors, guard rails, and benches are already together for your convenience.

Thermal therapy has been used for generations for a variety of different reasons, including health benefits and social benefits. Today, indoor saunas are becoming more and more popular as people realize the great benefits that they have to offer. While purchasing an indoor sauna can be quite an investment, indoor saunas have a great deal to offer you that makes them worth every penny you pay. If you are considering the purchase of an indoor sauna, the following are four great reasons that you need to make a sauna part of your home.

    Reason #1 - Natural Detoxification

The first reason that indoor saunas are such a great choice is because of the natural detoxification that they offer. Unfortunately, most people have quite the build up of toxins in their body and these toxins can cause a variety of illnesses. As the heat within indoor saunas causes the heart to start pumping faster, circulation within the body is increased and the body is able to easily get rid of the toxins in the blood stream and also flushes out the toxins in various organs of the body. The increased amount of sweating that occurs inside indoor saunas also helps the body to get rid of toxins as well.

    Reason #2 - A Better Complexion

If you want a great way to better skin, then indoor saunas have what you need. Since the heat of the indoor saunas tend to make you sweat a great deal, the impurities and dead skin cells are flushed out of your skin. Increased circulation that comes from being in the sauna also promotes great looking skin by bringing essential nutrients and vitamins to the surface of the skin. After using indoor saunas for awhile you will be able to enjoy healthy skin that has increased clarity and better elasticity than ever before.

Reason #3 - Enhanced Immune System

Many people have begun using indoor saunas as a great way to help boost and enhance the way their immune system works. The heat inside the sauna actually increases body temperature, bringing it a temperature like that of a fever. Fevers are used by the body to fight off bacteria and viruses while healing itself, and bringing your body even artificially to the higher temperature can help the body more effectively fight off sickness and disease.

    Reason #4 - Relaxation

One of the best reasons for choosing one of the many indoor saunas for your home is the relaxation that is provided. At the end of the day you can come home and relax and decompress in your sauna and let the stress of the day just melt away. If you enjoy music, there are actually indoor saunas that come with built in stereo systems to let you enjoy the music and the warmth of the sauna at the same time. While the other reasons for purchasing a sauna may take a bit of time, you can enjoy the relaxation provided by a sauna immediately.

The only place you have for a hot tub is in your basement or lower level and you do not have a walk out or a door large enough to get a tub in, well you are in luck many hot tub manufactures today make a truly portable hot tub. These hot tubs have the same user friendly qualities as a conventional hot tub without the weight and physical restraints. Portable hot tubs run on standard 110 volt circuits and are filled with a garden hose so no special wiring or plumbing is required.

Portable hot tubs basically come in two different configurations a soft side design that uses compressed air to maintain its shape and a hard side tub that has the look of a tradition cedar enclosed hot tub. Both styles differ by manufacturer but they have the same user qualities as a traditional hot tub, they have built in heaters, filter systems and of course water jets.

Setting up a portable hot tub in your home is much easier than a traditional hot tub, you do not need to have a crew come to install it remember it is meant to be portable it can be set up in as little as 20 minutes anywhere you choose, all you need is an electrical outlet and a garden hose to fill it up. Having a quick and easy set up also allows for a quick and easy disassembly. This a great feature for instance if you want your tub outside but do not want to heat or maintain it throughout the winter you may quickly drain your tub roll it up and you are set for the winter. In a standard hot tub you would be forced to either heat and maintain the tub or go through a complicate winterizing closing procedure.

The beauty of these portable hot tubs is that in their deflated or shipped state they weigh less than 75 pounds this means they can be easily shipped anyplace, no expensive delivery charges that are associated with fiberglass tubs. In addition the light weight and compact size allows the owner to do things with it they never imagined possible. How about taking your portable hot tub on your next camping trip or set up your tub at the next race weekend.

Many peoples objections to hot tub ownership involve excuses like I do not want to have to maintain a hot tub, they are too expensive, and what do I do with a hot tub if I stop using it? The portable hot tub addresses all of these concerns first they come with a self contained filter system all you have to do is check the chemicals and change a filter periodically. Second the issue of price while a tradition fiberglass type hot tub will sell for several thousands of dollars a portable hot tub can be found for around one thousand dollars and remember there are no set up costs. Finally if you find after a time that you no longer use the hot tub or need the space or even need to move it a portable hot tub can be dismantled and stored in an attic or easily moved to a new location.

I had someone ask me last week if there was a cure for diabetes. He said he had seen several claims to that effect on products offered on the Internet. This encounter got me thinking about ominous things to come.

Currently there are 20-22 million people in the US alone that have diabetes. Millions more have it and don't know it. That numbers swells when you consider the rest of the world. Diabetes is huge in Asia and growing at a faster rate than anywhere else in the world.

The point is that there are millions of potential customers for unscrupulous con artists and snake oil salesmen who offer "the cure" for one of the world's worst diseases. The effects of diabetes are so devastating as to cause the people who have it to tend to become gullible if not desperate-prime victims for a scam.

In 2005, the last year stats were available, over $10 BILLION was spent on diabetes. That figure is expected to grow by as much as 70% as the population gets older and obesity continues to be a huge challenge. That is enough money to attract some unsavory characters.

Millions and millions of dollars are spent each year searching for a cure to diabetes. Stem cell research offers hope for this and other diseases. Until a cure is found, the best you can do is control diabetes. YOU CAN CONTROL DIABETES. Unfortunately there is no cure.

You can bet your last nickel that when a cure is found it will make headlines for weeks if not months. It will be one of the biggest news stories of the decade.

Until then do your best to control this disease and resist the urge to try to the "new miracle cures" that are offered with regularity on the Internet. BUYER BEWARE.

Jack Krohn has had Diabetes, Pre-diabetes and Syndrome X for nearly fifteen years. He speaks from the experiences he has had during that time.

Any high roller that plays at online casinos is no different than high rollers that play at brick and mortar casinos. The most important part I believe for the high stakes player online is that the online casino offers VIP support is #1 – they want to be treated and taken care of in the same manner they would be if they were in a Las Vegas casino or any other gambling destination around the world.

You may ask, what defines a high roller? That is up to the casino and all the online casinos have different requirements. Some of the casinos will upgrade your status to a VIP player for depositing and playing $1000 a week, but for the rewards that I mention in the next paragraph it takes tens of thousands of dollars and many hours of play in the casino. But between your winnings and the comps, being a high roller can be very rewarding.

As a VIP player, you will enjoy enhanced benefits (including exclusive tournaments, larger incentives and higher match bonus offers). A key part of the offering is having access to a dedicated Casino Host that gives you the support you expect. It's not unheard of for online casinos to offer private jet charters, celebrity meet ups, invitations to dinners and events around the world, exclusive gifts, holiday trips, tailored offers and incentives to ensure your gaming experience is the best it possibly can be for big online players.

These high roller online casinos are few and far between, but they do exist. These casinos have an impeccable reputation and the casino takes care of their players whether they play for small stakes or they are high rollers with VIP status. These high stakes casinos are worth playing at because you know that you will receive good service and fairness in play. These high stakes casinos are licensed by governments in Europe and checked that their games are fair.

Any online casino can offer high stake games with high limits, but the personalized VIP service and environment is what really counts. The online casino selects players as VIPs at their sole discretion, based on the significance and ongoing activity of their play in the casino. A key element of being selected and maintaining VIP status at an online casino is consistency of play.

If you achieve high roller status at a casino get to be friends with your casino host. This person is your gate way to bigger and bigger comps. Remember that the casino is in the business to take your money and you are trying to take the casinos money. Your casino host is your door to the casinos vault, with his help you can cash in on the benefits of being a high roller.

I have achieved high roller status at one prestigious online casino. I have received many gifts from candy baskets, Texas hold'em card tables and several weekend holidays. My casino host is in constant contact with me and constantly asking what he can do for me. Tell him what you want!

Baccarat is the most sophisticated and upscale game at the casinos. Remember James Bond with the two beautiful girls hanging over the table while he rakes in a pile of chips of 10,000 or more. This is baccarat, simple to master, fun and easy to play.

To keep baccarat the game of high rollers, the casino generally puts the baccarat tables in their own room or behind velvet ropes. The dealers are dressed in tuxedos with a couple of girls dressed in evening gowns with low cut necklines.

What makes this simple game so appealing? That's a question only the player can answer. Some say they love the simplicity of the game, others play because of the really low house edge and still others enjoy the James Bond affect with its sense of elegance and high stakes. One thing you will always hear is baccarat is a highly profitable game for the casino.

It is commonly accepted that the Italians invented baccarat and it was introduced in France during the reign of Charles VIII, who ruled from 1483 to 1498. The term baccarat in both Italian and French means "Zero" and was originally played with a Tarot deck. In medieval France, the game was popular with the French nobility, and it eventually evolved into "Chemin de Fer", a variation that is stil played today. The game then migrated to England, where it underwent further development, and "European baccarat" emerged. Baccarat first spread to South America from England and eventually up to Cuba. Baccarat came to America through the casinos of Havana and was introduced in Vegas in the 1950's. The game became more popular in Las Vegas largely through the efforts of Frank Sinatra who was co-owner of the Sands at the time. The game at that time was exclusively targeted to high rollers. In more recent years many US casinos are offering mini baccarat with lower steaks and played on a standard blackjack shaped table.

The baccarat table has three positions that you can place your bets on, player, banker and tie. The term player does not refer to you the gambling customer and banker does not refer to the house, they are simply an option on which gamblers can place their bets.

It is an unusual game in that any score of ten is worth zero or baccarat. Nine is the highest score that you can achieve. Two face cards would have a score of zero and a nine and six would not equal 15, but 5, you drop the leading digit. A nine and ace equal zero, with the ace counting as one. Only two cards are dealt to the player (gambler), on some occasions three cards, the hand with the highest count closer to 9 or 9 wins the bet. The tie bet is won when both hands are equal. This tie bet usually pays a multiple of the bet.

There are 3 accepted variations of baccarat: BaccaratChemin de Fer (railway), Baccarat Banque (or a deux tableau) and Punto Banco (North American baccarat). Punto Banco is played in the United States, Canada and Australia.

Mini baccarat is becoming very popular because of the lower stakes. It is essentially the same game as Punto Banco, but played on a table similar to a blackjack table. Baccarat and mini baccarat can be found at most casinos across the United States and Canada. Most online casinos have baccarat and it is very popular with because of the fast pace and the chance to win big bucks.

It is important to keep kitchen cabinets clean, but it is not easy, since they are located in the most dirt prone areas of the home. Kitchens are loaded with grease, food spills and splatters from cooking. Hands opening the cabinet doors frequently have food or other sticky substances on them. Children are notorious for adding to this problem.

If you clean your cabinets regularly, it will be easier in the long run to keep them clean. Small cleanups each time are faster and easier than trying to get rid of a buildup of dirt.

How you clean your cabinets will depend on what your cabinets are made of. If you have painted cabinet doors, or ones which are vinyl or metal, you clean them with detergent and warm water. Just make sure you rinse it well and then dry them.

You can use a general all purpose cleaner on these types of surfaces. Just make sure you read the label to see if it is going to be safe on the material you are putting it on. Another good idea is to test the product on a hidden corner to see if it can be used safely. Always rinse and dry.

Many people are concerned about products which may harm the environment and therefore they do not want to use harsh household chemicals. There are many environmentally friendly products, and you don't have to even go shopping for them. White vinegar or lemon juice, mixed with water will remove grease from your cabinets. For stains, you can make a mixture of baking soda and water to remove them. Once again, rinse and dry thoroughly to avoid streaks.

There are special spray cleaners that have been formulated just for wood cabinets. Make sure you can use them on the surface of your cabinets. Always follow the directions closely on any of these kinds of products, and to be double safe, test it in a small spot first.

Wood cleaners can be flammable, and a warning will be on the label if they are. Be sure not to smoke when using them, and keep them away from any kind of flame or heat. If you have a gas stove, you have to be really careful, since the spray may ignite the pilot on the stove and cause a fire.

If you clean your cabinets a lot, you may end up with a dull finish. Restore the glow to your cabinets by using furniture polish. A good furniture wax is also ideal for this purpose. You may need to buff them after use, but if you want to keep you cabinets new looking, it is worth the effort.

The hardware on your cabinets can also get dirty, especially from the grease from cooking. Take all of the hardware off when you want to give your cabinets a thorough cleaning, and soak the hardware while you clean the cabinets. When you dry everything well and replace all of the hardware, your kitchen will glow.

You should use the proper type of cleaner for the hardware, just as you do for the cabinets. You may damage them if you use the wrong kind, so follow the cardinal rule and always read and follow the directions on the label.

Even if things seem like a fairy tale, you are going to have to use some common sense so that you can come back safely. You will find that when you are taking a vacation or honeymoon that you are going to overlook some things that will keep you and your valuables safe, but you will want to take some steps to make sure that your belongs and yourself come back safely.

Most cruise lines will ask you to sign a waiver that will say that they are not responsible for any losses that you may have on board. They take this precaution so that you can't sue them for a theft. This is why you wouldn't want to take any chances of getting anything stolen so that you can avoid the hassle and stress of theft. When something is stolen it is a hassle because you have a huge legal system that you will have to go through. This means that you have to go through the country laws, your country laws, and the jurisdiction of the waters that your ship is sailing. It can be a real hassle and ruin everything that you have ever planned for the trip. Most of the time nothing is ever solved and there are never any chargers written. It's just better to always be cautious.

It can all be avoided by knowing what your carrying and where you are carrying it. You will want to write down all the credit numbers and account numbers on a piece of paper and leave it somewhere at home so that you can get the numbers easily. You will want to make sure that you have all of your phone numbers for the financial businesses with you. This way you can get the cards and the accounts closed without having to worry about anything. You will want to make sure that you regularly inventory your things (especially cards) so that you always have an idea of when and where they may have been lost.

Don't forget that the cruise ships have a safe where you can store any of your valuables. You will be able to able to store them in your cabin safe or even the captain's safe. This is very important because it's not wise to allow your most valuable items to be lying around the cabin or room. With the maids and all the conspiracies, you will find that you are going to be easily targeted. The locks are not changed that often and you will find that you'll not be safe leaving important things in your room. When it comes to the wallets, you should never leave it in your back pocket. It is so easy for others to pick pocket when the wallet is in your back pocket. You may want to wear a money belt under your clothes, but you will also want to use your front pockets, because you'll know if someone is in your pocket. You will want to make sure that you keep your money separated. You will want to make sure that you don't bring attention on yourself by carrying large amounts. You also don't want to look flashy or have the bling-bling showing. When you do this, you are bringing notice to yourself by some shady characters.

These tips should not be shocking because they are common sense. You will find that there are a lot of people who don't take these simple precautions and then they end up having their stuff taken. Rather you are staying on a ship or in a hotel it is important that you protect yourself from being a target. You will want to make sure that you have a good journey and enjoy your vacation.

There are many things to take into consideration when you are choosing new kitchen flooring. Since there are so many styles to choose from, even if you've picked out what kind of tiling you prefer it can still be hard to go from there. Once you've bought your ceramic tile than you need to know quite a bit before you start to put it down.

There are many pluses to choosing ceramic tile. For one thing it is very easy to maintain and clean up is a breeze. Sometimes your space won't work well with ceramic tile and if you want them for a basement then remember how cold they will be during the winter. You should also be careful when choosing tiles for your foyer since they can be slippery and if you are coming home in wet shoes, this could be dangerous. You should find some tiles that are more gripping for your shoes.

You can buy ceramic tiles in many different shapes ands styles. Usually ceramic tiles are beween 1 and 1.5 feet. You can choose the right size tiles by knowing the size of the room that you need them for. If you have a small room then choose a smaller size tile. The larger your room the better a large size tile will fit in the space. They will also look less busy in a larger room and fit in better.

Style wise you can figure out what kind of tile you want depending on the look of your room. If you have a home in the country and want that rustic look than choose something more earth toned and rugged. If you want a more polished and clean look than go for marble that is sleek and polished.

You can choose the texture based on the look you want as well. For the rustic look get a tile that is less smooth. This is also a great texture if you want something that is more resistant to slipping. If you get a tile that is very smoothed you have to be careful in terms of slipping in your home. This is also something to consider if you live with small children who love to run around in their socks.

Make sure that the grout between the tiles will compliment your tile and not clash with it. You need to find the right colored grout to go with your choice of tiles.

There are lots of ways to install ceramic tile and you need to figure out which is best for you. It can be time consuming, but doing a good job is key to making the finished look something worthy of your home. Make sure that you lay them right and that cut is correct on all your tile. You want the space between tiling to be evenly placed as well. You can also think about hiring someone else to lay the tile for you if you don't think you can do a professional job.

Take care of your tile by keeping them clean and sweeping and mopping your tile regularly. It is quite simple, but worth doing!

Everybody loves a nice relaxing vacation but unfortunately not all of us can afford an expensive trip away. That is where budget holidays come in handy and if you look around you should be able to find some good deals which are ideal for you at a budget that you can afford. Here you will find some of the best holidays open to you for less than $1,000.

How to Save Money and Spend Less Than $1,000

So just how can you save money on your next vacation and still have a fantastic time? The good news is that there are a number of ways in which you can enjoy a holiday for less than $1,000 and the choices available allow you to do something different and fun at the same time.

The first option open to you is camping. Now when you think of camping, fun is not necessarily the first word that you think of. Rain, hard floors, wild animals and misery is often associated with camping out and so most of the time the family is hesitant to even attempt it even if it will save them money. However, camping really does not have to be that bad and if anything it can actually be quite fun. Try staying at a National Park for example and take along a small grill that will help you to cook nicer meals.

Another option open to you which the kids will love is Disney World. Yes it is completely possible to still go to Disney World and spend less than $1,000. This is because Disney offer value resorts and they have opted to make their parks more affordable for families which means that you get to enjoy all of the things that other families do just at a smaller price.

If you are looking to save money on travel then you can easily save money on flights. Flights tend to be one of the most expensive parts of a vacation and so if you can save money on them you will be able to spend more money on other things that you enjoy. Look for last minute deals as well as buying tickets from airlines such as Southwest Airlines or JetBlue Airlines.

Finally another way to have a fantastic vacation for under $1,000 is by going on a cruise. Now cruises used to be considered a luxury and you would not expect to find a cruise for less than $1,000 but it can be done. Some cruises from cruise liners such as Carnival Cruises, tend to have deals which vary in price from just $500. So shop around and see what you can find.

Overall it is easy to find cheap vacations to suit your needs; you just have to know where to look. Holiday deals are not always cheap and tacky, they can be really fun and if you go to somewhere like Disney you can really allow the whole family to have an excellent vacation. So when you are considering your next holiday, why not look out for cheap travel packages?

Online sport betting has been around since the mid nineties. And betting on sports has evolved into a pastime of millions of people around the world. The sole reason for this explosion in sport betting is the result of the proliferation of the worldwide web. In the last decade betting on sports at an online sports book has emerged as a respectable and sought after betting alternative by millions of sports fans.

When it comes to choosing the right summer vacation for the family, it can be extremely difficult. With so many different destinations to choose from, how do you know which one will be right for you?

If you have children then finding the perfect destination can be even trickier. This is because whilst many places claim that they are family friendly, that is not always the case. So if you do have children, how exactly do you find the right summer vacation for the whole family?

    Finding Family Friendly Vacations

When you are looking for a destination to suit the whole family, really you need to take into consideration the ages of the children. This is because whilst many family summer vacation packages offer various activities for children, they are not always suited to specific age groups. Many parents assume that a family vacation destination would have something to suit all ages, but unfortunately that is not always the case and so research into the destination is advised before you book.

The main type of tourist vacation that people prefer to take is a beach vacation. Now with children you might not be able to get away with lying on the beach relaxing for hours, but you certainly should not rule it out altogether. There is no reason why you cannot enjoy an hour or two of relaxation, just as long as you give the children something to do. A bucket and spade usually comes in handy, as does a beach ball. Then when you have had a little relaxation, you can perhaps teach them to swim in the sea (or paddle depending upon their age)? There is plenty to do for families at the beach and so it is certainly something worth thinking about.

If you really want to show your children a good time, then an amusement park vacation might be the best idea. They are the most family friendly places you can go and they literally have something for every age group. So if you have a family with both young children and teenagers, there will definitely be something at an amusement park to suit everyone. However, whilst most parks do cater for all age groups, in some countries the amusement parks are mainly designed for young children so it is worth checking out before you set off.

Overall there are plenty of destinations which cater for children. It is a good idea to sit down with the family and talk about the options available. Hopefully you will all be able to reach an agreement as to the destination you will travel to and that way everyone will be happy.

Recording his experience in works (for instance http://www.alicante-spain.com/costa-del-sol/hotel-in-malaga-spain.html on cheap malaga hotels ) the reviewer expressed his experience in the area.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

When it comes to making Espresso, each and every professional coffee maker, such as Barista, will have their personal secret recipe. In this article I will show my recipe on how to make a delightful cup of Espresso.

The first most important ingredient of Espresso is water. In espresso you can only use fresh hot water. The water should ideally be around 203F (95C) that is nearly boiling. Water often becomes stale due to the presence of mildew, pure cleaning methods and inadequate filtering. If you use stale water then no matter how good the quality of the coffee bean, it will not be able to overcome the association of poor water.

The next ingredient is coffee. While making Espresso you should choose Arabica. It doesn't matter whether it has been grown in Brazil or Bogotá or elsewhere. The bean should have been grown above 915m and should be delivered all fresh for roasting. You can either elf roast it or but it a few days after but your coffee should essentially have the 'fresh food' smell in it.

You can also use Robusta beans as they are easier to grow and more disease resistant. However, this bean has more caffeine and fewer flavors so it is best used for those quick pick-me-up drinks and not for Espresso.

After that you have to finely ground the beans in a burr. Do not use the blade attachment of the blender as the blade often chops the beans and does not grind them. In the burr attachment the beans are ground between two pyramids shaped teeth on two plates. Ideally, your ground coffee should be like the dark Viennese or French. This name often refers to color of the ground coffee and not to where it's grown.

The distance between the two plates often determines the fineness of the granules. The ground coffee should be sand grain sized. It should not be too finely ground or should not be like the shape of small gravel. You should also remember to not to leave the coffee exposed to air, mainly because just like other foods, coffee also oxidizes and absorbs odors from the air. This may often ruin your perfect cup of Espresso coffee.

Since you know the basic ingredients, you can proceed to the next stage of Espresso making.

The first thing that you should do is pre-warm the equipment. All you have to do is turn the espresso maker on, run it through good water and let it heat. When the water is warm enough, you can run a cup through without any coffee in it. This will help to warm the equipment and flush out any particles present in it.

Now, you have to add your ground roast. Just as in tobacco, remember to pack it down slightly. You should feel some springiness that you often feel in pipes. You should be careful as to not let the coffee scatter.

After this you firmly place a hopper inside the machine and a warmed cup of espresso at the outlet of the machine. After you start the machine you should have the perfect thin steady stream of coffee in about five seconds. A double shot would require around twenty seconds.

If you want to make cappuccino then you should warm half cup of organic milk in a microwave for about 90 seconds. Then you should froth it and add it to your Espresso. You can also add different garnishing like cinnamon, chocolate or nutmeg. If you like your coffee sweet then you can add a little bit of organic sugar.

In the end, if you want a great cup of Espresso all you have to do is keep the whole process simple and straight. You should always remember to keep your equipment clean and to start with good quality ingredients.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

Being an avid drinker of coffee, I never could figure out the reason following decaffeinated coffee. People usually drink coffee or espresso for the caffeine fix, so I always wondered as to why anyone would drink decaffeinated coffee. Would it not just defeat the purpose of drinking coffee? However, I finally saw the light and managed to figure out why decaffeinated coffee existed. This helped me immensely to sustain some sort of extravagance during my pregnancy and I also found out that I was not drinking coffee just for the caffeine fix and that I quite rather liked the taste of different coffee types.

During my pregnancy I was one of those nutcases who had read up everything that could go wrong during a pregnancy and tried to avoid those possible causes like anything. For instance, I avoided aspartame only because they were unsure of the effects it might have on the baby and I stayed away from lunchmeat because it had a minute possibility of a listeria infection. Hence, when I got to know that caffeine had the possibility to cause miscarriages, I tried to avoid regular coffee. Now, to reach the parameters that were measured in the studies for miscarriages to happen, a person would have to drink at least three cups of coffee daily. However, after reading that I was scared enough to confine myself to drinking decaffeinated sodas and coffees.

When I was halfway through my pregnancy, there was an expose show on the TV on whether the decaffeinated coffee that we order in restaurants and coffee shops are really decaffeinated or not. I knew that decaffeinated coffee was not totally void of the substance and had small traces of caffeine in it. I also knew that I was not taking in amounts that were close to regular coffee. However, in the TV show they revealed that the caffeine levels in decaffeinated coffee was close to the levels of the caffeine in a regular brew. They also reveled that this was the situation in around sixty percent of the places. This happened mainly because the machines and pots were not properly cleaned before the next pot was used or because of cross brewing. This particular case would not affect most situations, but in cases where there are medical conditions this would have taken a serious turn.

It is a fact that this would truly affect my situation in any way and I also realize it. But, I am such a nutcase that I have completely cut out coffee (whether regular or decaffeinated) from my diet during my pregnancy. Unless I had brewed the coffee at home, I had totally removed caffeine free coffee during the fall and winter months. I should also say that during the last few months of my pregnancy this change had not helped my demeanor in any way.

If you love your coffee, you will love dishes made from coffee. There are many dishes that use the wonderful taste of coffee as their main component. Let your coffee maker help you prepare your meals.

Most people think of using coffee to make desserts-and there are great recipes for that-but coffee adds a distinctive flavor to many other dishes as well. You can make barbecue sauces and glazes for meats, and put coffee in chili and pot roast recipes, to name a few.

Just as you use other fresh ingredients in your recipes, you should be sure the coffee you use is fresh. Either buy freshly ground coffee or grind your own, with your coffee grinding machine. If the recipe calls for brewed coffee, brew it just before you use it; don't use your leftover coffee for this. Most of the recipes using coffee use coffee that is 2-3 times stronger than drinking coffee, since the flavor is going to be blended. So here are a few of the wonderful recipes using coffee:

Coffee Meatloaf Sauce: Add a tablespoon of instant coffee to a blend of the following ingredients: a quarter cup of water, a half a cup of ketchup, a quarter cup of dry red wine, a quarter cup of Worcestershire sauce, two teaspoons of vinegar, an ounce of margarine, two tablespoons of lemon juice and a teaspoon of brown sugar. Cook your favorite meatloaf recipe, but after about 1/2 hour of cooking, pour this sauce over it and continue baking for 45 minutes more at 375 degrees (190C) for tender, delicious meatloaf.

Espresso Brownies: Gently heat a cup of sugar, a quarter teaspoon of salt, and a stick and a half of butter in a sauce pan; add a teaspoon of vanilla, four ounces of chopped, semi-sweet chocolate and stir until melted in. Add a tablespoon of dark roast coffee. If you would like to add a crunch, add two teaspoons of espresso granules. Mix everything together and let cool, fold in three eggs and a cup of flour. Pour into a rectangular baking pan, bake for 30 minutes and set out to cool. Perfect brownies every time!

Black Russian Cake: Make dark chocolate cake mix, your own or from a box, and add a cup of vegetable oil, a package of instant chocolate pudding, four eggs, and a half a cup of creme de cacao. To this mix, add a cup of Russian coffee. (A cup of black coffee with an ounce of vodka and an 1/2 ounce of Kahlua added.) Beat well and put into a tube pan and bake for 45 minutes. Your guests will love this switch from Black Forest Cake.

You can even enjoy great cocktails using coffee; Kahlua is only one of many. If you want to be able to add coffee to just about everything you like, try making your own coffee syrup.

There's even a recipe for coffee syrup. Combine a cup of sugar with a cup of double strength Colombian coffee. Boil, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolved. Lower heat, simmer and stir for three minutes, then cool. You can put this flavoring into almost any of your favorite dishes and add the special touch of coffee.

Make sure when you are looking to book your flight to Spain to enjoy the Spanish culture that you know what it is that you should be trying to do in an effort to get the most out of your flight when you are booking online. You should book your flights either really early or late, be willing to leave maybe a day early or late as well as trying to locate where the airports are located to see if you can find a local flight into that city.

Tip 1: Book your flight early or late

The best thing to do is to try and book your flight as early as possible in order to get the best rates possible for your flight. In many cases there will be a number of seats that are made available to early birds in order to fill the plane and drive up the prices for the people who are in need of a flight closer to when the flight is set to leave. In most cases it is recommended to book your flight at least 14 days in advance.

The other extreme is to wait until the very last minute. This works best if you have no concrete plans set out so as to be more flexible as long as you do not mind or have no true preference of where you are really going.

    Tip 2: Be flexible

As far as flexibility is concerned you have to look not only at the city you are traveling to, but also surrounding airports are concerned. Look into where the locations are in proximity to where you are going. See if it conceivable to find a cheaper route that is close enough that the savings will be worth the drive to get where you want to be.

Some discounts or cheaper rates may also be available to those that are willing to work with the airline and deal with plane changes and layovers. If you are willing to deal with these then you will have the ability to get lower rates and be able to apply more money towards your vacation.

One last area flexibility can be helpful is if you are willing to alter your dates either one or two days in one direction or another. In many cases you can use these to your advantage. Possibly squeeze one more day out of your trip or save large amounts of money by leaving in the middle of the week as opposed to leaving on a weekend.

A solid cast, hilarious antics, and a central theme around family values make "Family Weekend" a must-see movie for anyone who has an appreciation for how difficult parenting can really be, despite its somewhat implausible story line. Although it is a comedy, "Family Weekend" is an endearing tale of what teens think good parenting really means, and what can happen when they take control of the home.

Sixteen-year-old Emily Smith-Dungy (Olesya Rulin) is tired of being ignored by her high-powered, type-A mother, Samantha Smith-Dungy (Kristin Chenoweth) and artsy hippie-type father, Duncan Dungy (Matthew Modine). Although she and her siblings get plenty of nurturing from their grandmother GG (Shirley Jones), she wants her parents to start being normal and pay attention to the family. Her frustration comes to a head when both parents miss her jump-rope competition; she decides that it is time to do something about it.

She swipes some of her mother's sleeping pills and offers her parents a drug-laced beverage. Once asleep, she duct tapes them to two kitchen chairs and decides to teach them what they should be doing as parents. With that, she concocts what she calls a "parental aptitude test."

Emily tricks her siblings into going along with her plot. Her seventeen-year-old brother, Jackson (Eddie Hassell), loves to film things-especially his muscles. She tells him that if he goes along with the plan, he can document everything with his camcorder. Her nine-year-old sister Lucy (Joey King) is obsessed with movies and film stars, so Emily tells her that she can play a part in a movie that Jackson is filming. Her little brother Mickey (Robbie Tucker), who is a genius savant, doesn't seem aware of what is really going on.

Much of movie is centered on antics that include puppet therapy, visitors dropping by unannounced, and Emily lecturing her mother about the virtues of a non-vegetarian diet. Surrounded by her siblings and eventually her grandmother, Emily does not give up until one of her best friends starts tweeting about what is going on, and the hilarious hostage situation goes viral on the Internet.

"Family Weekend" is Benjamin Epps' directorial debut for a full-length film. Prior to this movie, he had directed two short features-"Pickle Power" and "StereoLife"-and the television series "Meet Me in the Graveyard." Although he received mixed reviews for the film, most agree that he has time to hone his craft.

Olesya Rulin gives a brilliant performance as Emily. Rulin, who was born in Russia, began her acting career in 2001 in several television movies and shows, including "Hounded," "The Poof Point," and "Everwood." Her breakout role came in 2006 when she portrayed Kelsi Nielsen in "High School Musical," followed by "High School Musical 2" in 2007 and "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" in 2008.

Award-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth also gives an amazing performance in the film. Chenoweth started her career in 1999 with bit parts in several television movies before getting a show of her own, "Kristin" in 2001. Although only 11 episodes were shot, Chenoweth's career was in full throttle. She played the role of Maria Kelly in the hit movie "Bewitched," followed by the character Cherie in "The Pink Panther." Chenoweth won two Primetime Emmy awards for her role in the television series "Pushing Daisies," followed by another Primetime Emmy award for her role in "Glee."

Matthew Modine, a veteran film actor, was perfectly cast as the hippie father. Modine started his acting career 1982 in the "ABC Afterschool Specials" before moving on to small roles in a series of big-screen films. By 1999, he was landing supporting roles in movies such as "Any Given Sunday," "Very Mean Men," and "The Garden of Eden." He won critical acclaim for his portrayal of Dr. Hartford in "Girl in Progress" and for the role of Foley in "The Dark Knight Rises."

Bringing in Shirley Jones to play the part of the nurturing grandmother was a stroke of casting genius. Jones, who began her acting career in "Fireside Theatre" in 1950, became a household name when she took on the role of doting mother Shirley Partridge in the 1970s-smash-hit, television series "The Partridge Family." Although she has played roles in movies such as "The Poseidon Adventure," much of her career has been played out in television series and TV movies, including "The Love Boat," "The Drew Carey Show," and "Monarch Cove."

"Family Weekend" may not win any awards, but it is a heart-warming story with hilarious twists and turns at every step. By the end of the movie, it is apparent that sometimes kids do know best.

After the hype of spring, summer and fall weddings, the possibility of winter weddings is largely forgotten. Winter weddings can be wonderlands of candy canes, snowflakes and large, inviting, intimate fires. Picture rolling white hills, softly falling snow and rustic sleigh rides. If you're located anywhere in the northeast or northwest, your response is most likely, "HA!" But in all seriousness, winter weddings can be budget friendly, advantageous and still captivate the romantic nature of the winter season. Planning can be a little more relaxed, you'll have stronger bargaining power with vendors and you can allow your creative streak to run wild with unique winter décor and favors.

Getting Down to Business. The economy lately has left most couples extremely budget-conscious. Luckily, the costs of winter weddings tend to be lower because they are off-season. Planners, DJ's and venues see less business during the colder months of year and are all vying for you! Costs will be lower and you'll have more negotiating power with your vendors. However, florists and jewelers may not particularly fall under this category. Certain flowers are not as readily available in the winter months, so their price will reflect this. Moreover, jewelers aren't necessarily hit by the winter doldrums because of the steady stream of holidays from Halloween to Valentine's Day. Check your local jewelers for wedding rings and other bridal jewelry still as sales are always prevalent during the holidays.

Freedom of Choice. Remember that beautiful historical inn that you've been dreaming of getting married at since you were a little girl? Remember all the headaches you thought you'd have trying to reserve one date that wasn't 6 years away? Stop popping those Tylenol and relax. You're more likely to get that dream castle reception and ceremony in the winter. Fewer people have their weddings then, so there are fewer people to fight with to get your date!

So you've had your dream wedding. What about your dream honeymoon? Absolutely! The same concepts apply to the honeymoons. Less people are honeymooning or vacationing in November or January. But feel free to mix it up a little bit. By having a winter wedding, you're already differentiating yourself from every.other.boring.couple. Embrace the season and rent a log cabin in Lake Placid for a week. Go skiing in Colorado or visit the Ice Hotel in Quebec, Canada. If you're not a big fan of the snow, take a traditional honeymoon to the Bahamas or Costa Rica. Again, there will be fewer people which will make for a much more intimate honeymoon.

With everything said, I hope you have found this article useful and wish you good luck with your wedding planning. Please remember that no matter what your wedding theme, its really about you and your partner and the future that you have together. *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

For years custom designed jewelry has been created using old world techniques dating as far back as the 1800's. Until recently, almost all-custom designed jewelry was created using these methods. The introduction of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) has changed all that and in it's wake ushered in a whole new universe of possibilities. Designs that were never thought possible can be made to the highest quality standards.

How is Custom Designed Jewelry Made?

Before learning about the benefits of 3D-CAD you'll need to know more about the custom jewelry design process. Most jewelry is made using a method called lost wax casting. A skilled artisan/jeweler hand carves a jewelry prototype out of jewelers wax using small scalpels and knives. This wax prototype also known as a "model" is placed in a flask and plaster called "investment" is poured all around the model. Once the investment hardens an exact impression of the model is formed inside of the flask. The wax model is burned out of the flask leaving a cavity of the jewelry design.

Next molten metal is injected in the flask mold using vacuum or centrifugal casting. When the metal cools and hardens the investment is broken away revealing the un-finished jewelry casting. This casting is filed, polished and prepped for assembly, which may include setting the gemstones or welding other precious metal parts to the casting.

The process of hand carving the wax prototype has always been the accepted process for creating custom jewelry. The problem with this process is that the human hand can't be as precise as a computer-aided machine when carving the model. Precision equates to more design possibilities and much higher quality jewelry production. In the end you'll have a product that looks crisper and won't be prone to stone loss or breakage.

    What is Computer Aided Design?

Computer Aided Design is a sophisticated modeling process using advanced software to plot coordinates for mechanical drawings. These drawings can be exported to various types of prototyping machines called CNC mills or growing machines. CNC mills cut-away material from a block of wax to make the jewelry model. The growing machines layer material from side to side much like a printer to build the model, samples of this process can be viewed at http://www.andrewsjewelers.com/ .The precision of these models exceeds what any human could do while hand carving the jewelry model. Design possibilities become limitless because the 3D-CAD software enables the designer to create parts and design elements that aren't possible using outmoded tools and methods.

Another benefit of 3D-CAD jewelry design is the ability to see a computer rendering before the final completion of the jewelry. In old methods the jeweler would create crude counter sketches of your concept and the rest would be left to your imagination. Now the designs that the jeweler creates in 3D-CAD can be rendered to photo-realistic images for you to view before making your final decisions.

Choosing a Jeweler for Custom Jewelry Design

Like any other occupation or trade there are good jewelry craftsmen and there are bad ones. It is important to pre-screen your jeweler to determine if he/she is skilled at making custom designed jewelry. Ask to see their portfolio and examine their designs to determine if the flair they have for jewelry design matches your style requirements. Also, pay close attention to their communication and interpretation skills because much can get lost in the translation of your ideas if you're not careful. Once the jewelry is made its too late to make changes and the typical jeweler will not re-make it again without added fees.

At this point higher qualified and better skilled custom jewelry designers have moved to using 3D-CAD to create their designs. If you feel 2 jewelers are equally matched in aptitude and skills then you should choose the one that is using 3D-CAD design. You'll pay a little more to have your jewelry created in 3D-CAD but the final results will be amazing. The jewelry will look 1000% better than if it were hand carved and it will last much longer because of the precision of the jewelry model.

It is often quoted that the first profession or career choice in history was prostitution. If that is so then the second profession must be "politics". Again and again the specter of struggles of human relationships and indeed of "office politics" rears its head again and again in the workplace. This is in spite of all practicalities and effects on human relationships, efficiency in the workplace and indeed on business effectiveness, profitability of the organization or firm in the marketplace. It is all foolish, counterproductive and indeed stupid. Yet how can you deal with issues and events. In most cases all you want to do survive. It's all a matter of ultimately keeping your job, career employment and income through the specter and gamesmanship of "office politics"?

First of all – take the time to observe. True it is a luxury that you may not have. If at all possible watch the workplace and its players. What are the organizations key core values? Is the basic viewpoint one of long term thinking or only of the short term "what is the bottom line?" Type of decision making? Especially pay attention to the decision making and thought process patterns of upper management and owner's.

This is what may count and prevail in the end, not the pattern of your direct supervisor or co – workers?

Is the "corporate culture" one of innovation and risk taking or is it an older died in the wool type where the basic viewpoint and standing is to any issues and challenges is the answer "You do not have to tell me ….. I have been in this business for 10, 20, 30 …. Years".

In order to win, or least stay in the game, you need proper tools. Where is your firm or industry headed? Evaluate winners in both your firm and the industry as model. Acquire those skills and credentials. Take courses and extra training – even at your own expense if the firm will not spring for the funds. You will be ahead at the end of the process. First of all the banyuk with the degree or diploma on the wall "Must know more "when it comes to an argument or discussion. If there is a position to be filled for advancement, it often comes down to one determining factor of which candidate has more. Bingo guess that get the promotion – is now at a higher level of command and authority or who has left those specific office politics and problem individuals behind? Lastly if things get downright foolish you are in a much better position to either look for other employment or at the least threaten to leave unless the office politics and foolishness cool down.

No matter what most people say – in the end , if you live long enough , it all comes down to money . Profitability of the firm or organization is where it's at. Troublemakers have a way of doing themselves in. Be an efficient effective employee who brings the firm profit. This may be in terms of production on the factory floor, sales in a sales organization, or case load in terms of service or governmental organizations. Don't make waves. Lay low. Don't cause trouble.

Your results will speak for themselves, although it never hurts to be able to communicate your virtues and results. If communication is not your forte, then join a toastmasters club or similar training program to improve your communication skills.

In the end problems in life, and office politics tend to work themselves out. In the end you are what you are and You are not what you are not. Time seems to take care of all problems. Things have a way of working themselves out in life and in the workplace.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

In a quest to save money, time and travel costs some firms and employment service agencies are now adopting "Telephone Job Screening Interviews" as a more and more standard and accepted job employment screening technique. If you expect to be interviewed by phone, prepare by getting a member of your "network" to "role-play" the interviewer. Practice delivering your answers and answering typical run of the mill standard interviewing questions. After all there are very little variations in interview questions and interviewing style in these workups. It is if all these interview "technicians" all read the same book and attended the same school.

If you have submitted resumes or applications, then you should be prepared to expect and handle a call from an interviewer at almost any time. Ensure that you have a businesslike outgoing voice mail message with your name and/ or phone number. Make sure that all of your housemates know to answer the phone professionally and take messages if necessary. Return calls promptly and be prepared to interview immediately or to leave a message with your full contact information and availability.

In order to succeed in a telephone interview there are a number of preambles.

First you must be prepared to take an interview at almost any time, and on the spot. Post your resume and short written spiel or script somewhere in your home so that it can be found accessed and read and referred to in a flash of time. Have paper and pen (pens) handy so that you can write down names and information on the spot. Otherwise you will forget important information – such as names and phone number of contacts. Keep a log of your calls. Transfer this and the contact information, as well as phone notes promptly to your notes which you can store on your computer, in an easily remembered as well as accessible record.

If you do need a moment to collect yourself, politely ask the interviewer to hold for a brief moment while you move to a quiet location. Eliminate all distractions and background noises.

During the phone interview process it best to focus the call on why you are interested in working that or that prospective employer. Obviously this can and should be done on pre interview research. Make it a point to understand and comprehend the employer's product, services, current developments in the marketplace and business practices and philosophies.

Always, always be professional, courteous and friendly. It is best not to try to lead or "control" the conversation. Let the caller lead the conversation, but ask questions of your own.

Maintain pose and posture as if that very person was standing alongside you, personally interviewing you in that very room, at that very moment. Stand up, smile and speak directly into the mouthpiece of the telephone while you are talking. This will give your voice more energy and a most pleasant tone. Never smoke, eat or chew gum while on the phone.

Beware of yes / no answers. They give no real information or elaborate about your abilities. Similarly be factual in your questions. The rule is to be brief but thorough.

In the same way if you find that you need time to think about a question or series of questions, it is best to avoid using repetitive phrases to "buy "time. There is nothing wrong in noting "I need some to think about that".

Lastly when the interview wraps up, ask what the next step or steps are. Directly tell the interviewer that you are available for a face-to-face interview at his or her earliest convenience. Follow up on the phone interview. Call back on or two days later. At that point thank the interviewer for his or her time. Restate your interest in the employment position. When you do the follow-up always try to leave the information directly with that very person or job contact. Only as a last resort leave this message by voice mail, fax or email. These are easily forgotten in the whole job employment filling process.

Always be prepared and on the ball for a telephone screening job employment interview.
