    Many webmasters ask "should I publish AdSense on my website?" but there's no right or wrong answer to that question.

    There are two schools of thought when it comes to publishing AdSense on a website. One says "do it" because it enhances the user's experience, offering them relevant adverts to click as well as making some money for the website owner while the other says "don't do it" because it's tacky and detracts from the brand.

    Whether you choose to publish AdSense depends largely on the commercial goals and the purpose of your website.

    Businesses which sell products do publish AdSense on their websites but this would seem to be an odd thing to do, offering the opportunity as it does, for visitors to go and buy from someone else. However, some publishers limit the companies whose ads they allow to appear to those selling complementary products. For example, a company selling babywear may allow adverts from companies selling strollers, car seats and baby feeding paraphernalia.

    This makes plenty of sense but some online retailers don't limit whose ads they'll accept and will therefore end up publishing advertisements from direct competitors. Their argument is that if someone landed on their website through a Google search they would have been able to see their rivals in the search results anyway. True though that is, you won't find Canon cameras being advertised on Sony's website or L'Oreal products on Estee Lauder's.

    While there is some doubt about online retailers publishing AdSense, it is surely a good supplementary service for other websites. For example, a website which provides a predominantly free service like an article directory can cover their costs and make a substantial profit if they have high levels of traffic. It is also popular among internet marketers and affiliate marketers and is can supplement their income from the products they promote. Some publishers don't promote any other product; they design and build their websites solely for the purpose of making money from AdSense.

    A large number of publishers think that the options provided by AdSense contribute to a professional looking website with a wider appeal than just articles and affiliate products.

    However, it can be frustrating for surfers when they click on an AdWords advert only to find that it leads to a page containing another list of ads. Google have been doing their best to address this problem as they don't want to be seen to support the practice, but they haven't always succeeded in the same way that they have tried to clean up the search results but I'm still find pages which are purely stuffed with keywords and absolutely no content appearing on page one.

    I digress; in the main, AdSense is a useful tool which provides some websites with revenue so if you're asking "should I publish AdSense on my website?", I'd say that the answer is yes. After all, if you find that your visitors are leaving in droves via AdSense ads, either you're making your money that way or you can remove it from your site. Keep an eye on the statistics and all will become clear.

    Article Title: Search Engine Rank Checker - Which One is Best?

    A search engine rank checker will tell you how your website ranks in one or more search engines. It also helps to know what the search engines think of your site although you may need to guess at methods to improve your ranking but which is the best one?

    I typed "search engine rank checker" into Google and the following sites were listed. For each one which was free, I used the url of a well known keyword research tool and the keyword "keyword research software". This is what I found:

    Number one listing was sitereportcard.com. Here you can insert four urls and one or more keywords to find the ranking. The idea is that you insert your own page address and three other sites with which to compare it. Rankings are returned for Google, Yahoo and MSN (now Bing). It returned my url as not in the top 100 for Google and Bing but number 19 in Yahoo.

    Number two listing was SEOcentro.com. You put in one domain and a competitor if you wish plus your keyword. This returned my url as number 1 in Google, number 24 in Yahoo and not ranked in Bing.

    Googlerankings.com was the third of my search results. The problem with this is that unless you already have a Google SOAP API key, you can't use the tool. No, they won't issue any more APIs and no, they won't help you if you've lost the one you already had.

    Fourth was iwebtool.com. Again, you insert the url and keyword. There are drop down menus for Search on (search engine) and Limit search to (a number of results) but each menu only offered one choice - Google and 100 results. This too listed my url as number 1 on Google.

    Fifth was marketleap.com. A "problem" was returned for this one.

    Next at six was web-inspect.com. This one couldn't find my chosen url at all in Google, Yahoo, MSN, Hot Bot or Teoma.

    Seventh was ineedhits.com. To use this tool I needed to create an account and having done so, I was asked to put a button on my website. Results were: Google - higher than 100, Yahoo - number 25 and Bing - number 50.

    Next, at number eight came linkassistant.com. Rank Tracker is part of SEO Power Suite which you can download free or paid. I already had this thanks to my hosting account so I plugged in my url and it returned number 1 on Google and number 25 on both Yahoo and Bing. I really like this tool; it creates a project for you and you can do all sorts of things with it - too many to mention here as it's worthy of an article on its own.

    Number nine returned the FAQ page at digitalpoint.com - tools. I finally discovered that I had to register here too so I didn't bother.

    Finally at ten, Rank Checker from SEObook.com. This is a free download for which you have to register. As far as I can tell, it is only available for Firefox. It's very easy to use; just click on the logo on your status bar in Firefox, insert the url and as many keywords as you like and there you are. Results can be downloaded in CSV format. My url was #1 on Google, #19 on Yahoo and #25 on Bing.

    So my picks for a search engine rank checker based on these results would either be Rank Tracker (no. 8) and Rank Checker (no. 10) which returned more or less the same results.

    Article Title: What's the Best Keyword Selector Tool?

    The best keyword selector tool is the one that works for you personally. If you're happy with a free one which gives you basic information when you type in your chosen keyword then that's fine but if you want more, then you might have to pay for it.

    My favourite keyword selector tool is Keyword Elite. Why? Because it does so much more than just select keywords.

    It's true that it does have a keyword selector tool which offers the option to use the KE engine and four other sources and you can choose how many results to return per source. You then get a huge list of long tail keywords which you can then show in quotes, brackets or both. You can delete the ones you don't want and select the ones you do for further action.

    You can then use the keyword selector tool to send the keywords to five other elements of Keyword Elite.

    Firstly, there's Market Research Sleuth where you currently get to analyse the Google, Yahoo and MSN search engines. You can use this for analysing competition in Adwords but that's another story so we'll just concentrate on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) here. You can show the number of searches by Broad, Phrase or Exact and for each keyword you can see the number of competing pages, results to searches ratio (the lower the better) and Keyword Effective Index (the higher the better). All this can help you choose whether to pursue a keyword or not. You also get to see the top ten results on your chosen search engine by keyword with title, description and so on.

    Secondly, there's Search Engine Dominator where once again you have the choice of search engines and this tool shows, the number of monthly searches, competing pages for each keyword, the number of estimated monthly clicks for a top ranking site, as well as calculating the competition strength and giving the ability to download the Microsoft Online Commercial Intent (OCI). OCI is an indicator of the likelihood of the searcher wanting to buy something.

    On top of that, if you select one of your chosen keywords, this keyword selector tool will show you the top ten pages on your chosen search engine along with page rank, number of backlinks, keyword density and all sorts of other data about each page.

    Thirdly, you can select one keyword and send it to Adwords Time Machine which is most useful when using Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising. Basically it shows you advertisers and urls which bid on your search term in Adwords for a six month period

    Then there's Advanced Google Site Targeting which enables you to find websites where you can target your Adwords advertisements to appear.

    Lastly you can send your keywords to JV Diamond Miner which lets you find possible joint venture partners who will promote your products for you.

    You can run Google ABC and Yahoo ABC which takes your keyphrase and finds longer phrases which contain it.

    Lastly you can use this keyword selector tool to create content pages by inserting your AdSense details and the tool will take your keyword and find articles related to it then create web pages which you can upload to your server.

    What other keyword selector tool gives you all this?

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

    Keywords are king these days; without them nobody will ever find your website or your article at one of the article directories. There are a couple of ways of finding keywords with Google.

    First of all you can use Google's suggestion feature. All you do is type in the title of your post or article or just the beginning of it into Google's search box and you will see suggestions appearing below the box which you may want to use as keywords for you post.

    Another way of finding keywords with Google is by using their Adwords Keyword Tool. To use this you will need to have an AdSense account; once you've registered for AdSense you can use the login details for any of Google's other tools.

    When you've logged into the Keyword Tool, you may be asked to enter some letters and/or numbers that you will see on your screen. This is a security check to prove that you're a human, not a robot.

    There are two different ways of finding keywords with Google Adwords. Firstly you can enter your keyword or phrase in the left hand box on the screen or you can enter the url of a website in the right hand box for the keywords relating to that site to be shown.

    I'll deal with the first method first. After you've typed in your keyword or phrase, click on "Advanced options" under the box. Here you'll see a number of choices you can make to refine your keyword search. For example, if you live in Japan, you'll probably see Japan highlighted in but you may be targeting the American market, so you need to change the country to United States.

    You can also choose your language, whether you want adult content or mobile search stats. The default is that all ideas relating to the keyword you entered will be shown but you can refine this further if you only want key phrases which include your exact term. For example if I type in "cat litter" I get "tidy cat litter", "cat litter boxes", "cat litter pans", "cat litter trays" and "flushable cat litter", to name but a few of the 82 results.

    Down the left side you can select categories too so that you don't get search terms which aren't relevant to what you want.

    You can sort the listing by any of the column headings and you can download the whole list or whichever items you check and you can see competition volume and trends.

    When finding keywords with Google, you do need to know that this isn't an exact science. Google themselves admit that their results can be out by up to 35%. This is probably because of all the internet marketers out there who are entering search terms to find out how many competing sites there are as well as other influences. However, this is a good, free keyword tool and you will get a general idea of search volume for your keywords as well as some good ideas to use.

    Are you fed up with vegetables grown out of season, from who knows where which may look bright and shiny but which taste of absolutely nothing? Are you frightened as to what all those pesticides and other chemicals are doing to your family's health?

    Well the answer is simple; grow your own organic vegetables and fruit. You will need to be prepared to devote quite some time and effort but the end result will be well worth it. Just think of those wholesome, tasty fruits and vegetables which you'll be able to put on your table at all times of the year.

    What is organic gardening and why should you go to all that effort?

    It is the growing of produce, flowers, shrubs and so on without the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers which, organic gardeners believe, will result in flavorful, healthy and nutritionally beneficial food. This is because the soil is fertilized naturally and insects are kept away using natural materials too so there's no risk of ingesting or inhaling toxic chemicals. An additional benefit is the fresh air and exercise which you get digging and maintaining your own vegetable plot.

    Possibly, although you're keen on this idea of growing your own organic food, you don't know where to start, so here are a few tips.

    Firstly, make a plan. You need to decide where your veg garden will be, how big and what you're going to grow. Remember if you want food for all seasons, you'll need much more space than if you just want a few salad leaves for summer.

    Now measure and dig out the area that you want to grow vegetables in, to a depth of about twenty five centimeters, turning it well. Dig in compost or horse, cow or pig manure for bulk and some organic fertilizer and leave it to work into the soil for around three or four weeks.

    By this time, you're ready to plant your seedlings which you will have grown from seed in organic compost and you'll need to water them. There are two schools of thought regarding the watering of seedlings. One is that a weekly soaking is more beneficial because it strengthens the roots as they reach down for water; another is that when seedlings are very small, they should be well watered daily or they are at risk of becoming too dry. You could try giving them a good soaking preferably early in the morning or late in the evening, inspect them daily and if they look in danger of wilting, water again.

    On your daily inspection tour, keep an eye out for aphids and other damaging insects. Prevention is better than cure so ensure that crops are free of disease before you plant them and keep the garden free of weeds and other debris. If you do find evidence of infestation, either pick off insects by hand or spray them with a mixture of washing up liquid and water or commercial organic insecticide soaps.

    Weed prevention is also important or the weeds will take all the goodness from your soil. Hoe between your rows of plants every few days or when you see weeds appearing. Applying a mulch around your plants or even laying black plastic or other material will help to keep the weeds at bay and will also help to retain moisture.

    Finally, pick your produce and enjoy the fruits of your labors; the flavor and goodness will make all that effort worth while.

    Unless you don't care at all about your soft furnishings and carpets, then the answer to the question "do you need a cat scratching post?", for most cat owners, has to be a resounding yes.

    Even if your cat goes outdoors a lot, where he will use trees or fence posts to sharpen his claws, it's still a good idea to provide an indoor scratching post.

    Cats will scratch, whether you like it or not, so providing something other than your furniture to scratch on is a must. Cats actually need to scratch to remove the outer sheath on their claws as the claws grow, in order to expose the new claws. Some experts say that cats also scratch to exercise their muscles, to stretch, to mark their territory and just because they like it. I suspect that they like the attention they get when they try to scratch your sofa too.

    You could make a scratching post from a log or similar but there are so many available on the market which are quite inexpensive, that you're sure to find something suitable. Of course, you could always buy a tree in a pot, if you have the room for it and if you can anchor it to the floor or wall so that it doesn't fall over when the cat stretches against it.

    There are quite plain cat scratching posts which are covered in carpet or sisal rope, some with a dangling pompom for the cat to play with. These come in a variety of heights, so that for a very large cat you have the option of a taller post and indeed there are horizontal ones which will save you worrying about whether the cat will outgrow his post. Then things get more complicated with dual posts and dangling pompoms, wide scratching boards, scratchable steps or stools so that the cat can look out of the window as well. After that, we progress to entire play units which can incorporate a scratching post with tunnels, shelves, toys and more. Some of these incorporate three different surfaces for scratching, including part of a real tree as well as carpet, cardboard or sisal rope.

    Whichever type you choose, make sure that the base is heavy and wide enough that the cat won't pull it over when scratching. The height should be greater than the height of the cat when upright, if you are opting for the vertical variety so that he can really stretch his whole body properly. If your cat is the playful type, then why not invest a little more in a complete playstation and scratching post. This will give your cat a great outlet for his energy if he doesn't go outside or even on rainy days, when he really doesn't want to.

    Buying a cat scratching post is rewarding for both your cat and yourself. Your cat will appreciate the facility and your furnishings may just last a little longer.

    If you don't mind instant coffee granules or powder, it isn't that difficult to make a cup of coffee. You just put a teaspoonful of coffee in a cup or mug, boil some water, pour it on, stir and then serve. However, if you want "proper" coffee, not instant, the process isn't quite so easy unless you have a coffee machine.

    There are many different types of coffee machine available and which one you choose will depend on the features and the price of the appliance. In a domestic environment, you don't necessarily need all the "bells and whistles" that a commercial enterprise would require, but if you want to make different types of coffee, you'll want something a little fancy.

    First of all, you can choose the look and size of the coffee machine. If you only have a small space available, there's no point buying a huge machine and this may restrict the facilities that it has. For example, it will affect the number of cups of coffee which can be produced before the water reservoir must be refilled. In terms of appearance, there is either plastic or stainless steel to choose from and plastic may come in a variety of colours depending of the make of the machine.

    Another early decision will be whether you want a filter machine with a jug or whether you want an espresso machine. The latter is usually more versatile but may well cost more to buy and you'll also need to buy more coffee as by it's nature espresso is usually stronger than filter coffee.

    Filter coffee machines usually have a jug which sits on a hotplate to keep the coffee warm. This is useful if you have a lot of people drinking coffee, for example in an office, but although you can vary the number of cups you make, it isn't really practical for a lone coffee drinker (unless you drink far too much) because the hotplate doesn't really keep the coffee that warm over time and the flavour becomes a bit "stewed" if not drunk within an hour or so.

    Espresso coffee machines, particularly really do come in all different shapes and sizes, from the tiny little one cup machines to the large (and expensive) types which have a large reservoir, grind the coffee, dispense and tamp it down then discards the spent coffee when the water has run through. All you have to do with one of these is make sure that there is enough water and beans then froth the milk if you want it.

    Medium priced espresso machines will usually have a reasonably large water reservoir and a milk frothing system. Cheaper ones will probably only hold enough water for a couple of cups and won't have a frother. It's really horses for courses depending on how much and what sort of coffee you like to drink.

    Many brands have similar models of coffee machine, so you may want to visit a few different electrical shops and compare prices, brand facilities and warranty conditions, before you make your decision.

    Whichever type you buy, don't forget that there is different ready ground coffee for filter machines than for espresso machines so make sure that you pick up the right sort in the supermarket. Either way, once water has run through the coffee, don't even think about trying to use the coffee again or it will look and taste like dishwater!

    If you choose the right coffee machine for the job, then you should have good tasty coffee whenever you want it.

    There is no doubt that every woman desires to have a gorgeous diamond ring to wear on her finger. It has always been the tradition that a woman receives a diamond ring when her prince charming gets down on one knee and proposes. While this is still a dream for a majority of women, gone are the days of waiting for that proposal. Women nowadays are much more independent and successful and the right hand ring is the perfect way to celebrate that.

    Women everywhere have jumped on board with the right hand ring idea. There is even a saying that goes "The left hand is for thee, the right hand is for me!" Right hand rings are a symbol of a woman's own right to happiness and individual success. This tradition doesn't date back very far but has gained popularity exponentially over the years. These rings are typically designed like cocktail rings as opposed to engagement rings. Most of the time they have clustered diamonds in fun settings designed to catch the eye. Right hand rings tend to be a lot less traditional and are made to help women express their individuality. Don't think that right hand rings are strictly for single women. Many married women purchase right hand rings to complement their wedding band and to celebrate their independence within their relationship.

    When choosing a right hand ring, there are a few things to take in to consideration. Will you be wearing your ring on a daily basis? If the answer is yes, you will want a ring that is durable. Go with sterling silver, a material that will hold up to daily wear. Also choose a setting that does not sit up too far to prevent a lot of nicks and dents. You will also want to pick a design that will coordinate no matter what you wear. Something like an initial ring or a cameo ring is the perfect accessory dressed up or down.

    If you want something a bit flashier that you only wear here and there, go big and bold. Choose a platinum or white gold setting with lots of clustered diamonds. If you still want some durability, make sure you go with either platinum or 18k gold; it will stand the test of time better than a 14k gold or plain silver. Also, choose a design that is truly eye catching. Go with a swirl setting, a medallion design that covers the whole finger or a stacked look. These are all reminiscent of a cocktail ring and will sparkle all the time!

    For a lot of people, budget is a big issue. So, even if you want to show your independent purchasing power, it's important not to blow your entire savings. Keeping this in mind, it is still entirely possible to pick out a beautiful right hand ring. If you want to save some serious cash but keep the bling, go with cubic zirconia. To most people, it will look like the real thing and still be fabulously flashy! Another way to save some money when investing in a right hand ring is to go with stones other than diamonds. Choose something like pearls, sapphire or even your birthstone. It will still be an eye catching piece you can be proud of that didn't completely empty your bank account.

    Just remember, when shopping for your right hand ring that it's all about you. Pick exactly the piece you want and celebrate your individual success! Every time you glance down at your hand, it will be a happy reminder of everything you have achieved.

    There is no doubt that the jewelry market is heavily geared towards women as they have been enjoying jewelry for thousands of years. During that time however, men have also worn their own accessories and jewels and continue to do so today. Much like the trends in women's jewelry, men's fashions change with the times. Today, more and more men want to keep up with the latest trends and put on the most popular pieces out there. Men have been and continue to wear everything from rings to bracelets, necklaces and earrings – sometimes with a lot of bling!

    One of the most popular types of men's jewelry is actually the necklace. There are a ton of different styles to choose from and many men put one on every day. Some men prefer to keep it classic and simple by wearing a gold, silver or platinum chain. This look can really be for a dressy occasion or just an everyday accessory. Other men tend to lean towards a more casual look when it comes to their choice in necklaces. For a super casual look, say for vacation or a summer weekend, men often times choose a necklace made from rope, hemp, shells and/or wooden beads. Regardless of what style you choose, it is hard to go wrong with the classic accessory.

    Another trend in men's jewelry that is increasing in popularity over the past few years is the bracelet. Most of the styles of bracelets men wear have a casual look and are made from inexpensive materials. Many of these bracelets make some sort of statement and rarely leave the wrist. Even when men get all dressed up, they often leave on these casual bracelets for a nice mix. These casual bracelets tend to be made out of a stretchy rubber material or some sort of rope. They hold up well under constant wear and tend to go with any outfit. Some men do choose to wear a fancier bracelet such as a gold or silver chain link bracelet. These can also be worn every day but do tend to look better when they peek out from underneath the cuff of a suit jacket.

    Earrings are one jewelry trend that was strictly left to women for many years. With more modern times and more men wanting to express themselves more boldly, earrings have become more and more popular. Most men tend to prefer very simple styles when it comes to choosing their earrings. Styles such as simple gold or silver studs or a single diamond are very popular. Earrings are a great accessory for men because they make a big impact without being too "in your face". Most times, men can wear their earrings in both a professional and casual setting without causing too much fuss. This is important when it comes to men's jewelry – the less hassle and changing that has to happen, the better. Women don't mind changing their accessories every day but men tend to like one piece they never have to take off.

    There is still the most obvious choice for men's jewelry and that is the wedding ring. For many years, most men went with a very simple gold or silver band with no embellishment or stones. Nowadays, men tend to want styles that are bit flashier and bolder. Men's rings come in a wide variety of styles with a mixture of metals, textured designs and lots of sparkling diamonds. Women aren't the only ones who appreciate a good diamond. So men, don't be afraid to put on a few flashy accessories – they look good. And, wearing jewelry gives the ladies in your life an excellent gift idea!

    Everyone loves a good party so what could be better than a party that combines fun and shopping together? Home shopping parties have been around for quite some time but have gained in popularity more recently. You can find home shopping parties for just about everything from house wares to cookware, clothing and makeup. Jewelry home shopping parties are all the rage right now and can be a great way to find really unique pieces in a fun, relaxed environment for not a lot of money. All you have to do is find a sales consultant in your area, then start planning the party!

    Jewelry parties always take place at the home of the hostess. She invites friends, family and other acquaintances to her home where the sales consultant will run the show. The sales consultants will often have display jewelry so you can physically see and handle some of the pieces they offer. This typically is not the entire selection the company offers. There will be a catalog for attendees to browse through and shop the collections. The hostess of the party usually receives some sort of gift or discount from the sales consultant depending on how much product is purchased. There are many different jewelry party companies all offering distinct and unusual styles.

    Here is a simple run down of how to host a fun and successful jewelry party for you and your friends. First, you want to compile a list of everyone you know that might be interested in coming to a jewelry party. Don't limit it to just your close friends, invite some lesser known acquaintances and/or neighbors – this can be a great way to get to know some new people. Once you have your list, send out invitations to them with all of the details about the jewelry party. Sometimes, the sales consultant in charge of the party may have some to give you. Make sure you include an RSVP number or email so you know how much food and drink to provide. Remember, this is a party! On the day of the party, get everything set up in advance of your guests arriving so you can put all of your attention on the jewelry.

    Your sales consultant will typically show up an hour or so before the event begins so she can get all of her goodies out on display. Make sure there is plenty of seating room and good lighting so everyone attending can get a good look at what the company has to offer. You are hosting a jewelry party so there will be plenty of flash and sparkle – make sure everyone can see it shine. These companies usually offer truly unique pieces of jewelry in a wide range of styles. You can find necklaces with mixed metals in fun and funky designs, big sparkly cocktail rings with colorful gemstones and beautiful earrings perfect for any occasion.

    Depending on the company that you have your jewelry party with will depend on the type of jewelry that is offered. Since most of these companies aim to give consumers beautiful pieces of jewelry at affordable prices, you won't be seeing diamonds and sapphires. Most of the jewelry that is offered is 14 karat gold or sterling silver often accented with hand crafted beads, crystals and glass. Mixed metals are also popular with these companies offering pieces with multicolored designs in different textures and types. No matter what your style, a jewelry party is fun, social way to go shopping for gorgeous, unique pieces to add to your collection.

    There is nothing that influences pop culture quite like Hollywood and all of its celebrities. The actors and actresses that grace the big screen influence everything from fashion to language. When all of us "civilian" consumers are looking for the newest trend of the season, we need to look no further than Hollywood. So, it comes as no surprise that sometimes the fashions stars wear in the movies become more famous than the person wearing them. Some of the most famous pieces of jewelry come from the silver screen.

    Possibly, the most recognized piece of jewelry comes from the blockbuster smash "Titanic". The Heart of the Ocean necklace that Kate Winslet wears around her neck during that scandalous sketch scene has become almost as famous as the movie itself. The Heart of the Ocean necklace is a huge blue diamond necklace that was fashioned after the Hope Diamond. The actual necklace used in the movie was a cubic zirconium set in white gold. After the movie was released and the necklace became so popular, Fox was commissioned to have a real Heart of the Ocean necklace made. Designers created a 170 carat blue sapphire set in platinum surrounded by about 36 carats of white diamonds. This necklace was sold at a charity auction for Princess Diana. Many other reproductions of the Heart of the Ocean have been made since 1997 and continue to be popular.

    Another jewel made popular by the big screen was The Pink Panther diamond which made its first appearance back in 1963. The diamond gets his name because of two unique characteristics. First, the diamond does have a pink tone to it. However, it received its name because there in an imperfection within the stone that resembles a panther when examined closely. The diamond is incredibly valuable and weighs in at about 25 carats. Since appearing in the movies, it was privately owned for about 60 years. In November of 2010 the Pink Panther diamond finally went to auction and brought in about $35 million.

    The pearl necklace that Audrey Hepburn wore in the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's" still remains a pop culture icon to this day. People everywhere still want to own a replica of this famous necklace. The necklace she wore in the movie is a three strand pearl and diamond choker necklace. Necklaces similar to the one Audrey Hepburn wore in the movie continue to be popular with the ongoing trend of statement necklaces. The large flower of diamonds and classic white pearls is a timeless look that will forever be recognized from Hepburn's time on the silver screen.

    The movies aren't the only place that jewelry trends are set by celebrities. Famous faces like Jackie Onassis, Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana have left their stamp on the fashion world for generations. Jackie Onassis was famous for her pearls and even today's First Lady, Michelle Obama follows in her footsteps often seen wearing the classic jewelry. Princess Diana had an impact while she was alive and still remains vital today. The engagement ring she wore while married to Prince Charles is now being replicated by the thousands since the ring was given to the future princess, Kate Middleton. These iconic pieces of jewelry will remain in the hearts of pop culture fans for years with new pieces being added to that collection each year.

    The red carpet for the 2011 Oscars was a breeding ground for fabulous jewels. Gone were the trendy statement necklaces. This year was all about the earrings. Every celebrity that graced the red carpet could be seen wearing big, bold, beautiful earrings. From drop to pendant to chandelier, the styles were endless and the bling was abundant. Many of the A-listers donned traditional and classy diamonds but statements were made this year with colored gemstones – especially Emeralds. Emeralds were everywhere on the red carpet!

    Emeralds seem to be making a splash on the scene this spring in every form. A big, bold pop of color is exactly what everyone needs after this long, cold, dark winter. And what better color to get the job done than emerald green? It is a fresh burst of color that is reminiscent of all the new life blooming. Amy Adams, who was nominated for best supporting actress, really took home the prize for the biggest emerald bling. She donned aa platinum and diamond necklace by Cartier that featured a 33 carat emerald pendant worth over $290,000. She completed her look with a Cartier platinum and diamond watch bracelet with a 30 carat emerald worth over $1 million.

    The bling didn't stop there, plenty of other celebrities really layered on the jewels for Hollywood's biggest night. Reese Witherspoon accessorized with 35 carat Neil Lane diamond and emerald earrings worth over $1million. They were simple yet stunning pendant earrings with the stones cut in a square and tear drop shape. Scarlett Johansson paired her dress with really unique accessories. She wore simple ruby stud earrings but wore a "dragon flower" ring studded with diamonds, emeralds and rubies. It seems like the cocktail ring trend is sticking around this spring.

    Some of the most stunning earrings of the season were seen on the red carpet. Penelope Cruz chose fabulous 27 carat yellow diamond chandelier earrings. They framed her face perfectly and were a great contrast to her burgandy dress. Annette Bening chose to go with emeralds donning bold pendant earrings that set off her art deco dress perfectly. Natalie Portman was another celebrity who put on gorgeous statement-making earrings for the occasion. She matched Tiffany&Co. rubelite tassel earrings with rose cut diamonds to her plum gown.

    Other celebrities chose funky or vintage accessories for the big night. Nicole Kidman donned a vintage 150 carat diamond choker by Fred Leighton. Celine Dion also chose to go vintage with her necklace. She wore a stunning 18 karat yellow gold diamond and emerald pendant necklace by Bulgari. Gwenyth Paltrow had possibly the most unique jewels of the evening. She wore earrings and a brooch by Louis Vuitton. They were designed in a flame pattern with diamonds and colored gemstones.

    Judging from what we saw on the red carpet this year, color is the way to make a statement this spring. Choose large earrings with stunning gemstones in any color your heart desires. You can't go wrong with classic chandelier or drop earrings. Just remember, if you wear large earrings go without the necklace. You don't want to make your look "top heavy". For other accessories go with a matching cocktail ring or chunky cuff bracelet. The nature themes are still very much in style. Find accessories with designs like flowers, snakes or other whimsical shapes.

    With summer peeking its head around the corner, vacations are moving to the front of minds for millions of people. While a vacation is nice and relaxing once you get to your destination, packing can be incredibly stressful. How many outfits do you take? What will the weather be? What about all those fees airlines charge for extra bags? Not only do you have to pack clothes, but no matter where you go, you have to have accessories. Nowadays it is beneficial to pack light and to pack smart so here are some tips on what jewelry to pack and how to pack it right.

    It is important when packing accessories to take the pieces you will get the most mileage out of. You want to choose pieces out of your collection that are versatile enough to wear day or night and with any style or color. One of the best options is simple silver jewelry. A pendant necklace or chain necklace are perfect options. Pack just one or two pairs of earrings like a pair of silver hoops and pair of great drop earrings. If you are more of a gold person, the same simple rules apply. Don't go overboard, a few pieces can go a long way. A good rule of thumb to follow: don't pack any jewelry or accessories that don't go with at least two outfits. A great tip is to plan out your outfits in advance of your trip and accessorize them all before putting them into the suitcase.

    One thing to keep in mind when packing jewelry for a trip is value. You don't want to pack valuable pieces of jewelry or sentimental pieces that would be impossible to replace if they were to be lost. It can even be worthwhile to go out and buy a couple inexpensive pieces of jewelry before your trip so that you won't be devastated should something happen. Some great options are costume type jewelry like big plastic baubles or a cheap pair of pearls. These can always look fashionable and expensive but won't hurt your wallet. Also, always pack your jewelry in your carry-on luggage if you are flying. This way, there is less risk of the jewelry disappearing or getting lost or damaged in transit.

    The best way to pack your jewelry for travel, especially if you are flying, is in plastic Ziploc bags. Since you will have to put your luggage through the scanner at security, if they can clearly see what you have packed, the less risk there is of them rummaging through your bags. A jewelry box can be a great, safe way to pack your jewelry but it might look suspicious when run through the scanner. The best way to ensure your jewelry stays intact and untangled is simple. Pack each piece in its own small Ziploc bag then put all of the smaller bags into a larger one. This way, each piece stays separate but you won't have to rummage through your luggage and sort out a thousand little baggies.

    If you are traveling to a destination where you will be attending a special event where you need to take some more valuable pieces of jewelry, there are some steps you can take to ease your mind. First, insure any expensive pieces you will be traveling with. In the event of damage or loss, you can feel good knowing that while it might be emotionally irreplaceable, you have some coverage. As long as you take some time and care when you pack your jewelry, you and all your accessories should arrive intact and ready to hit the town!

    Of all the rooms in the typical house, the bedroom is unique. Far from just a place to sleep, the bedroom can be a refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The bedroom can be a cozy nook, a sanctuary, and a place to prepare for the day. Choosing the right bedroom furniture can go a long way towards the creation the perfect personal space.

    Whether it is the bedroom, the boudoir, or just that place where you sleep, this room is generally thought of as a private space. The room may contain nothing more than a bed and a closet or it may be among the most ornate rooms in the home. Many modern suburban homes feature master bedroom suites, with a separate bathroom and large walk in closets. Other popular design features can include sitting rooms, sun nooks, and dressing areas.

    The Basic Bedroom

    For the most of us, the bedroom is where we sleep and generally store our clothing. The bedroom basics usually include a bed, night stands, dressers, chests, and perhaps one or two pieces of accent furniture.

    The bed may be as simple as a mattress, foundation and some type of frame. There is an almost endless variety of mattress styles and sizes. Standard mattress sizes typically range from twin, to full, to queen and king. Older mattresses may have been manufactured before the time of size standardization. These mattresses are typically referred to as antique and three quarter size.

    Bed frames come in all styles and sizes, from the basic metal rail frame to baroque head boards that look like they where owned by the Borgias. Ornate canopy beds, four posters, raised platform, and a myriad of other styles are available. Again, for most of us the bed frame, headboard, and footboard are standard equipment for our bed.

    Other than a closet, the drawer is where most of us store our clothing. Drawers are the basic components for dressers, chests, and armoires. Big drawers, little drawers, and every drawer in between hold our hosiery, blouses, shirts, and even our unmentionables. A chest of drawers can have as few as two drawers and as many as six or seven, stacked one atop another. In contrast, the dresser usually has a lower profile and most often has two or more rows of drawers.

    The humble nightstand is found beside the bed and is used as a depository for all sorts of things. The ubiquitous nightstand can be home for a bedside lamp, alarm clock, books, eyeglasses, and just about anything else you can think of.

    Bedrooms that lack enough closet space may have wardrobe or an armoire. A wardroom simple provides a place to hang clothing just as a closet would. Throw in a chair or two and you have what many people would consider to be the essential bedroom.

    Decorating With Bedroom Furniture

    Just as with any other room in the home, the bedroom is wide open to decorating schemes and themes. This would include the furniture, floor coverings, window treatments, wall color, and accents. From neocolonial, French traditional or shabby chic, the possibilities are almost endless. The choices of decor go beyond just the colors and the styles. Area rugs, accent pieces such as wall hangings and occasional furniture can be used to brighten up a dark corner or draw attention to a particular area of the room.

    Bedroom decorating for children can take a turn to the fun, funny, and whimsical. There is an abundance of bedroom furniture for especially for children. Furniture sizes are scaled down for kids and many pieces offer festive and cheerful colors. A canopy bed for the little princess of the family or an airplane bed for the future pilot can create just the right fairy tale atmosphere for any child.

    From the day Princess Diana stepped into the public spotlight, she was the "people's princess". She lived that role from the day she married Prince Charles in 1981 to the day she died. Diana was always a fashion inspiration causing a stir wherever she went. She always dressed fashionably and took risks sometimes criticized because of her status. Now, even in her death, her style lives on through soon-to-be princess Kate Middleton.

    When Prince William proposed to Kate, she was presented with the engagement ring his mother wore for so many years. The ring is a beautifully oval-cut 18-karat blue sapphire surrounded by 14 white diamonds. Diana picked out the ring herself after her proposal. Once news hit the internet about Kate Middleton wearing Diana's ring, a frenzy began. Replicas of the ring began popping up all over the place showing that Princess Diana still holds some serious style power.

    Practically overnight, jewelry stores were swamped with calls and inquiries about rings that simulated Diana's. It seems that people all over the world had to have this design. It is a stray from the traditional engagement ring. Typically, engagement rings consist of white diamonds. While the settings, cut, carat and style obviously varies greatly from ring to ring, the diamond is the traditional stone. Diamonds as a traditional engagement stone dates back to the 13th century but didn't really become a standard in Western culture until the 1930's. Diamonds symbolize strength, durability, brilliance and wealth making them the perfect choice for a marriage proposal.

    Recently, whether it has to do with a struggling economy or simply a desire for change, more and more people are beginning to stray from tradition. Colored diamonds have become increasingly popular for engagement rings including yellow and pink diamonds. Everyone is striving for something different and that stands out from the crowd. This could be a reason for the sudden frenzy over Kate Middleton's engagement ring. Sapphires are beginning to make their mark on the jewelry scene. Dark blue sapphires provide a stunning contrast when set with white diamonds making them a great alternative to traditional engagement rings.

    Sapphires are a perfect substitute for diamonds when it comes to engagement rings. Not only are they beautiful, striking stones but their symbolism is meaningful as well. Sapphires have been known to represent truth, loyalty and devotion. They are also very durable stones, making them a perfect choice for everyday wear. When paired up with the purity and fire of a diamond, a sapphire makes a bold statement when proposing to the one you love.

    Blue sapphires aren't the only choice when it comes to this gemstone either. Because of the way sapphires are created, they come in a wide variety of colors and shades within those colors. Most sapphires are blue and can be found in every shade of blue from dark cornflower blue to light, pale blues to purple blues. Sapphires can also be found in yellow, green, white and pink. Any of these choices would look great when paired up in a unique setting with white diamonds. When you propose with a stand-out ring that strays from the traditional you will take her breath away and she will never tire of people asking to see the ring!

    They might not be your typical trendy piece of jewelry and you probably won't see celebrities donning them on the red carpet, but Silly Bandz have quickly become the craze of the day. These bracelets don't have diamonds or pearls and aren't even made of gold or silver but kids everywhere are snatching these fun little accessories up. Silly Bandz are simply brightly colored, stretchy bracelets being showcased on the arms of kids nationwide.

    Now, Silly Bandz are not just your typical every day rubber band. In addition to being brightly colored, they come in dozens of assorted shapes like zoo animals, pets, musical instruments, sports equipment…the list goes on and on. The bracelets come in packs of 24 and only cost around $5 each. Their affordable appeal and fun shapes make them the perfect craze during times when parents are doing some serious penny pinching. What's even better is the fact that the bracelets are easily accessible. You can find and order them online and in stores – if you're lucky. They are so popular that stores have a hard time keeping them on the shelves for any length of time.

    Like any good fad, Silly Bandz have not come without their share of controversy. You might be thinking, "How could a cute little rubber band cause an uproar?" and I completely agree. I was shocked to learn that these seemingly innocent accessories have gotten to be such a problem, they are starting to be banned from schools across the country. Apparently, Silly Bandz are so popular with the young generation, they have become a distraction in the classroom. Kids are trading their Silly Bandz with one another, arranging swap meets and fiddling with them during instructional time. Sometimes too, a trade goes bad and a fight ensues. The amount of Silly Bandz a child has even, in some schools, delegates their playground social status.

    There have even been reports from doctors and surgeons regarding health hazards for these little bands. Some doctors say that caution must be used with these bracelets because there is a potential for blood flow constriction. The danger is more concerning especially if the child is wearing a ton of them stacked up on their arms and wear them for hours at a time, or even fall asleep with them on. There haven't been any official reports put out and the packaging does warn consumers and there most likely isn't much to worry about.

    All of this uproar is a surprising reaction to such a simple piece of jewelry. It's also kind of a shame that the adult community is reacting the way they are. Silly Bandz really have the capability to be a learning tool for children. They not only can teach shapes, animals, etc. but the swaps and trades kids make with each other encourages social interaction and can be the beginnings of a great business future for some. This might sound silly about just a little rubber band, but let's face it – they are.

    Don't be surprised either if you catch celebrity children wearing these neon bracelets. Maybe the company will catch on and start creating Silly Bandz for the celebrity world that are embellished with diamonds, gemstones and pearls or even shaped like the trademark names of luxury designers. There is a lot of potential for these cute little accessories and not even Miley Cyrus' line of kids jewelry could catch on like the Silly Bandz.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

    How many godchildren do you have? Two … maybe three? Some of us may even be able to boast as many as half a dozen or so. Well spare a thought for The Queen. At the last count, Queen Elizabeth II had amassed a grand total of 30 godchildren.

    For us mere mortals, choosing an appropriate Christening gift, remembering a birthday or finding another Christmas present, on top of providing the occasional piece of pithy moral and spiritual advice, can be taxing at the best of times. So how does The Queen manage with thirty little souls to guide?

    Well, firstly we can assume that she doesn't spend too much time pottering around the shops trying to find that special Christening gift. Similarly, an equerry will probably remind her when the next birthday is due and a Lady-in-Waiting or a Woman of the Bedchamber will be on hand to recommend the most popular Christmas presents for the little darlings. I think we are safe in assuming that the godchildren don't come high on that list of forgotten jobs that keeps the rest of us awake at 3am in the morning.

    The Queen has also spread her responsibilities over a few decades. To tell the truth, most of the little darlings aren't really that "little" at all. The oldest godson is now well into his sixties, whilst the youngest goddaughter is already in her twenties. So, with a bit of judicious planning, The Queen has managed to dilute her godparent's duties over time.

    Part of a godparent's purpose is binding ever-tighter links between friends and family. Never has this been more true than in the case of the old family firm that is "Royalty." Look down the list of The Queen's godchildren and it is easy to see ties and connections being strengthened and alliances forged. One of The Queen's first godsons was Crown Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia, her last goddaughter was Princess Theodora of Greece. There are Barons, Dukes and Viscounts scattered about all over the place. And when you do find someone on the list who sounds just like the rest of us – take George Herbert for example – he turns out to be an earl … the 8th Earl of Carnarvon to be exact. Yes, becoming a godparent really is a case of "keeping it in the family."

    However, as The Queen so correctly observed: "Like all the best families, we have our share of eccentricities, of impetuous and wayward youngsters and of family disagreements." So, if we look a bit further down the list of godsons, we find Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer, brother of Diana, Princess of Wales. The Queen was present at his Christening on 14 July 1964 in the Henry VII Chapel at Westminster Abbey. It's worth considering, that the next time they faced each other in Westminster Abbey was at Diana's funeral when Earl Spencer read his moving and rather controversial eulogy in front of a global TV audience of around 2.5 billion viewers.

    As a final note, you should be aware that The Queen is not alone in taking on numerous godchildren. Prince Charles already has thirty-three godchildren, while Prince William started assuming godparental responsibility way back in 1999. His first chosen godson followed family tradition; he was Prince Konstantine Alexios of Greece.

    Article Title: Relationship ABCs

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

    When you are in a relationship you value, it is important to subscribe to the ABCs of Relationships, mind your P & Qs and everything else from A to Z.

    A = Accepting

    When in a relationship, it is important to accept your partner as he or she is, instead of always trying to change him or her. If you want to embark on a self-improvement plan, start with yourself. When you don't like something about your partner, it's experienced as criticism. When you accept other's idiosyncrasies, it is the gift of unconditional love.

    B = Believe

    When you are in a relationship, you must believe in your partner. Believe in their abilities, believe in their dreams, and believe in their love. When you have a partnership, you believe in each other. No one should have more faith in your partner than you do.

    C = Communication

    Effective communication is critical to the success of intimate relationships.

    D = Disagree in Private

    Whenever you are having disagreements, discuss them in private. The whole world does not need to know your personal business. When you are with others, including children, parents and friends, do not look to them to take sides. Work out your issues with no spectators.

    E = Encourage

    Encouraging your partner is about being his or her cheerleader, helping him/her to do things s/he wants to do.

    F = Friendship

    When you are in a successful relationship, your partner is someone you genuinely like and with whom you share common interests. When important things happen you are excited to tell your significant other. You don't try to manipulate him or her. You share a genuine friendship.

    G = Gratitude

    Be grateful every moment for your loved one's presence in your life. You never know when a life is going to end. And remember, your loved one has a choice. He or she can always find another who will show more gratitude. Gratitude doesn't make you weak; it makes you appealing.

    H = Happiness

    When you love someone, you want them to know you are happy to be with him/her. Have you ever seen how happy a dog gets when his or her owner comes home? That's how happy you want your partner to know you are when you are with him or her.

    I = Integrity

    Integrity is important in all relationships but is of utmost importance in your intimate one. Say what you do & do what you say withour exception. Do not make promises unless you intend to keep them and when you do promise something, move heaven and earth to make it happen.

    J = Eliminate Jealousy

    Your partner is not your possession. Jealousy will not bring you closer. Jealousy stems from four root causes: insecurity, past experiences, thinking your partner is your possession and expecting things to never change. Do you know where yours comes from?

    K =Kindness

    When in a loving relationship, you want to treat your partner with kindness, even when it's not returned. You are kind because you never know when either you or your partner will have your last day on earth and you are kind because that is the kind of person you want to be.

    L = Listening

    I'm not talking about simply listening to hear. I'm talking about listening for understanding. Instead of tuning out or just waiting for your partner to take a breath, really listen to try to see where he or she is coming from. You don't have to find agreement, just a better understanding. This will really help you when we get to the letter "N."

    M = Maintenance

    Getting the guy/girl is not the end, but rather just the beginning. What are you doing to nurture your long-term relationship?

    N = Negotiating Differences

    In any relationship, there will be times when you want different things. Most of the time, when you and someone else want different things, you try to figure out how you can get what you want.

    When you are negotiating differences, you have a completely different mindset. Now you are concerned with both getting what you want AND helping the other person get what he or she wants too. When you have this mindset of both win, it becomes relatively easy to find a solution.

    O = Openness

    Transparency is important in a loving relationship. Being a private person is great, but in a loving relationship, you don't want to keep secrets from your partner. A long term committed relationship is a huge gift you give one another. Reward each other with transparency so a strong bond of trust can develop.

    P = Pamper

    Don't just pamper your partner when you are getting to know each other. Continue the pampering forever! Instead of focusing on the things your partner does that are annoying to you, put your focus on the things you love. When you focus on the positive, you'd be surprised at how easy it is to continue the pampering long after the "I Dos."

    Q = Quixotic

    I know, I was definitely reaching for a "Q" word here but allow me to provide the definition since I never knew this word before searching the dictionary. According to Webster, quixotic means: absurdly or extravagantly romantic or chivalrous. It goes right along with Pamper. Don't stop the romance or chivalry just because you "got" the guy or girl. Continue it forever. The more you love each other, the more you will love each other.

    R = Respecting

    Respecting is about listening to learn what your partner needs to feel respected and then giving it to him or her. Do not respect your partner the way you wish your partner would respect you. You will probably miss the mark as your picture of respect likely looks different. Focus on the platinum, rather than the golden, rule: "Do unto others as they would have you do unto them."

    T= Trusting

    If you want to have a meaningful and healthy relationship, then you are going to have to trust your partner. Trust is one of the important building blocks of healthy relationships. Trust is a choice you make; it's not necessarily something a person must earn. That being said, however, if your partner has shown he or she is not trustworthy in certain areas, then trust him or her to continuing being who they have shown you to be. Don't expect a cat to turn into a dog.

    U = Understanding

    If I had to list the most important quality in a relationship, I would say it's the quest for understanding. I say "quest" because I don't believe you can ever fully understand another person but the desire to work at better understanding will help a relationship last in a very healthy atmosphere.

    V =Value Each Other

    There will be times when you aren't able to understand your partner because he or she does or sees something so differently than you do. When this happens, instead of devaluing your partner, value him or her as bringing something different or a new perspective to the situation.

    W =Win/Win/Win

    In Secrets of Happy Couples, I talk about having a win/win/win whenever you are able to negotiate your differences so both of you are satisfied with the outcome. You win, your partner wins and the third win occurs because your relationship grows stronger for going through the process.

    X =X-rated

    Be sure to schedule some X-rated time with your partner into the busyness of your life. Connecting with each other in a sexual way is an important part of maintaining closeness and it's a great stress reliever too!

    Y = Yin / Yang

    Maintain the balance in your relationship. Sometimes you will carry the load, sometimes your partner will and often you will share it. Balance is the key.

    Z = Zest

    Maintain your energy and excitement when you are with your partner so he or she knows how happy you are to be together.

    Follow these Relationship ABCs so your relationship will sizzle not fizzle!

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

    I'm sure you are all familiar with the concept of loving yourself first; if you don't love yourself, how can you love someone else? You can't give away what you don't have. We all have love inside us. We all came from the Source, that Divine Spirit of Love. Love is who we are at the core. We really don't need to learn to love ourselves; we simply must remember that we already do.

    How do you go about that? The process begins with unlearning. We have learned things throughout our childhood and the rest of our lives so far about why we are not good enough. We have been criticized by well-meaning people who were hoping to make us better and some not-so-well-meaning people whose goal was to tear us down. Remember being told you are too loud, too shy, too messy, stupid, mean, lazy, too fat, too thin, too serious, unlovable and more?

    The first step to remembering is learning to say "Thank you for sharing" whenever any of these misconceptions present themselves as facts in our minds. We remember the things people said that hurt us and believe they are true. This is because they were generally said by people we love and respect and they were said at a time before we were able to distinguish truth from lies. We just accepted the information as true. If it came from a respected source, it had to be true, right?

    Wrong! All these are are our interpretation of someone else's thoughts and words that were embedded into our subconscious that we have accepted as true. When one of them presents itself, recognize it for what it is and simply say, "Thank you for sharing." Everyone has a right to their own opinion, even your subconscious and you have the right to accept it or not. Just saying, "Thank you for sharing" allows you to say, "I heard you" and I'm not giving you any more importance than you deserve.

    Once you have learned to quiet the constant chatter that tends to flood your mind, then you can begin to remember what it must have been like to be a baby and then small child. Watch some babies to see how they are with themselves. They are constantly exploring their body. They love everything about themselves. They put their hands and feet in their mouth. They pull on their arms, legs and ears. They are enamored when they see themselves in a mirror. Babies are having sheer joy in the discovery of themselves. You loved yourself then. You may not remember, but you began life in love with yourself.

    Once you can at least intellectually grasp the concept that you love yourself, begin to take inventory of all the things you like about yourself. What are your innate talents, skills and abilities? What is your purpose here in this lifetime? What were you meant to do in service to others? What do you do better than most people you know? What do you lose time doing because you are so wrapped up in it? What would you do for free?

    If you can't think of anything, then ask people you trust what they like about you. The idea is to grow a list of at least 100 things, with the most important at the top. Begin an inventory of why you are loveable. Add to it every day and when you've reached 100 things, review your list at least one a day. Keep reminding yourself about what is great about you. It will be difficult to do this every day and not begin to like yourself more.

    Pay attention to the voices in your head. (Yes, we all have voices in our heads.) This will be when that self-sabotage will kick in, trying to remind you why you are not good enough. Remember to say, "Thanks for sharing," and focus back on your personal love fest.

    Once this process begins, you will have renewed energy to discover even more things at which you can excel. You will try new things, expanding your horizons, learning more and more what you love about yourself. This process will never end.

    Here are the steps in order:

    1. Recognize self-sabotage for what it is.

    2. Don't fight it; just say, "Thanks for sharing."

    3. Remember how you used to love yourself as an infant and a child.

    4. Start your inventory of all the things that are "good" about you.

    5. Become open to exploring new experiences that can add to your list.

    *********************** ARTICLE START ***********************

    Statistics show younger people are more likely to have children than to get married. Older people who are getting involved romantically are finding it less and less reasons to get married. Why has marriage gotten such a bad reputation?

    1. With the divorce rate at over 50%, people don't have a lot of faith that marriage offers any kind of security anymore

    2. People have been living alone long enough to find it difficult to share living space again.

    3. People are living longer. It is hard to imagine being with one person for the rest of one's life.

    4. People want partners who are with them out of choice rather than obligation or a marriage license.

    5. People do not trust the promise marriage once held.

    6. People do not want to share their assets.

    7. People choose not to commit to maintain their freedom.

    But just as there are reasons to not get married, there are other reasons to take the plunge and at least commit to an exclusive relationship.

    1. In exclusive relationships, there is no risk of sexually transmitted disease.

    2. Some believe a person can learn more about themselves in a committed relationship and can experience great personal growth.

    3. Companionship is a reason many get in exclusive relationships.

    4. Marriage can provide stability for children.

    5. People can save money on sharing expenses.

    6. A deep connection of trust and faith can develop in a long-term committed relationship.

    7. People may make a commitment so they are not alone.

    Naturally there are many reasons on each side. I couldn't possibly list them all. And there is no right or wrong although everyone you know, probably has a strong opinion about what you "should" do, regardless of your personal preferences. Each person must decide for him or herself what will best meet her needs. If you are in a relationship, it is important for you to communicate your position to your partner. Whether or not you want to be in an exclusive committed relationship is information your partner has a right to know.

    If you prefer to maintain your independence, then your partner has a right to know. If you are a person looking for an exclusive life partner, your partner has a right to know that too. When you are honest with the person you are dating, it provides you both an opportunity to make the best decision for their situation. If your partner wants a lifelong partnership and you clearly don't, he or she can move on to find someone who is interested in the same thing or he or she can make a decision to stay with you in the hope you might change your mind.

    Conversely, if your partner wants a commitment, then you have the right to know so you can make an informed decision about whether or not you want to stay in a relationship where your partner is attempting to get you to a place you don't want to go or if you want to move on to possibly greener pastures.

    Transparency in relationships is a piece that is often missing. We fear that if we are transparent, then our significant other won't want to be with us anymore. However, if you have to pretend to be something you aren't to maintain your current relationship, perhaps that relationship isn't the right one for you. A healthy relationship is one in which you know how your partner is, what they want and are accepting of both.

    InsideOut Empowerment™ is a revolutionary process designed to free your mind, open your heart and transform your life. It takes you on a journey from where you are now to emotional freedom, inner peace, strength and happiness. Do you have hopes, goals and dreams you keep striving for but never reach? Freeing your mind of self-sabotage is the answer. Do you have relationships with others that aren't going the way you want, whether it's at home, at work or in your community? Opening your heart is the answer. Do you feel like you are at the mercy of circumstances beyond your control, the past, other people, current circumstances, your character, or your emotions? Then it's time to transform your life!

    People have said these principles of InsideOut Empowerment™ all make sense but are so hard to apply. Do you remember learning any new skill that required a lot of perseverance and practice? Well, it's no different for InsideOut Empowerment. I'm not telling you it's easy in the beginning. In fact, you may want a coach to help you stay on the path but once you have been applying the concepts in your life over time, it becomes second nature. You may read these principles of InsideOut Empowerment™ and say, "I already know that." Most of what I'm about to share is commonsense, I admit. However, it is commonsense that isn't common. This is why I'm famous for saying, "Knowledge is NOT power, contrary to popular belief. Knowledge doesn't become power until it's applied." Don't you know many people who have tons of knowledge but until they use it, actually apply it in their lives, there is no power in information only? I am about to give you the step-by-step process for applying this information in your lives so you too can free your mind, open your heart and transform your life.

    Here is what you need to know to get started:

    The only person's behavior you can control is your own.

    Whatever happens in the outside world has no meaning other than the meaning you give it.

    Every behavior you choose, including your feelings, is designed to get you something you want.

    What you want is based on what feels good to you (increasing pleasure or avoiding pain).

    When you find yourself unhappy about the conditions of your life, you should first clarify specifically what you want rather than focusing on what you want to avoid.

    Much of our health, both physical and emotional, is strongly affected by our actions and our thoughts, both of which we have the power to change.

    People often see their choices as either/or choices, creating imagined dilemmas and forced choices.

    People do not change until the pain of staying the same exceeds their fear of change.

    People are frequently sabotaging themselves with thinking that is outside of their conscious awareness that was likely installed at a very young age, before they were able to discriminate between truth and lies.

    You are not a victim of anything—not your emotions, your past, other people, circumstances, or your character.

    One of the keys to being successful is to create a plan that is challenging, yet definitely doable for you. Your ideal pace will be different from someone else's. It should be a stretch to accomplish so you don't get bored, yet doable so you don't get frustrated. It helps to have a mastermind group to support you. We have a free one at http://www.therelationshipcenter.biz/calendar/insideout-mastermind-group/ and it's ideal to have a mentor or coach along the way that has already done what you are attempting to do. You want someone who will support you through the challenging times, hold you accountable when you slow down or become discouraged, and who will inspire you to keep moving toward your dreams.

    If you would like the full 15-page special report on InsideOut Empowerment™ , just go to www.facebook.com/AcademyofChoice and "like" our page. The special report is being sent out to all our Facebook fans on June 1st.

    Article Title: Establishing A Comprehensive Debt Management Plan: Using A Low Interest Debt Consolidation Loan

    Introduction

    Many people trying to deal with their debt make a commonly shared mistake: These men and women obtain a low interest debt consolidation loan and assume that they've done everything that they need to do in order to get their debt under control and their finances in order. Unfortunately, in the vast majority of cases, merely stepping out and obtaining a low interest debt consolidation loan simply will not be enough to gain control over a person's finances in the long term. Indeed, when all is said and done, it will not have a thorough impact even in the short term.

    If you are considering obtaining a low interest debt consolidation loan, you need to keep in mind that a low interest debt consolidation loan should be only one element of a comprehensive debt management plan. Through this article, you are provided with some basic information about what you should include in your own comprehensive debt management plan.

    A Budget

    At the same time you are looking to apply for a low interest debt consolidation loan, you need to be working hard at formulating a reasonable, rational and complete budget. Obtaining a low interest debt consolidation loan and thinking that you are developing a meaningful debt management plan without a budget is like blasting off in a spaceship to Venus without pre-plotted coordinates. There is a remote chance that you might reach Venus … sometime and by accident. But, odds are that you'll end up flying aimlessly and end up in serious trouble.

    Without a budget, and even with a low interest debt consolidation loan, chances are very good that you will end up in even worse financial shape in the not too distant future. Introduction

    Some time ago you may have made the decision to apply for a low interest debt consolidation loan. In fact, you may have gone through the entire low interest debt consolidation loan application process and ended up being … DENIED. The denial of your application for a low interest debt consolidation loan may have left you pretty close to despair. You may have been like many men and women who believed that a low interest debt consolidation loan was the best tool available to you to bring a sense of order to your finances and to your debts.

    What may have even been more frustrating is the fact that the lender may have told you that you came very close to qualifying for a low interest debt consolidation loan. But, your credit score was just a bit too low to qualify.

    In the same breath, the lender may have told you that you would qualify for another type of debt consolidation loan available at a higher interest rate. Before you make the decision to apply for a debt consolidation loan that comes with a higher interest rate, you need to understand that you have another option available to you when it comes to the low interest debt consolidation loan you initially desired. Through this article, you will be provided with information pertaining to how you can go about reapplying for a low interest debt consolidation loan.

    Why Reapply?

    You may be asking yourself the question "why reapply?" You may be close to concluding that an extra percentage point in the interest rate associated with a debt consolidation loan really is not big deal. What is another ten dollars each month? In reality, another ten dollars adds up to being quite a good deal of money. For the sake of argument, let's assume that you have a debt consolidation loan that extends for a period of five years. Working out the math is elementary.

    Therefore, you really should consider taking some steps to improve your credit score a bit and then reapply for a low interest debt consolidation loan in the near future.

    Check Your Credit Report

    In anticipation of reapplying for a low interest debt consolidation loan, you need to check your credit report to make sure that everything contained on your credit report is wholly accurate. In this day and age, the majority of people have inaccurate information on their credit reports that are causing them to have lower credit scores than they should had the credit report been accurate in the first instance.

    Get Your Accounts Current

    Another step you can take -- either by making payments to creditors or by negotiating with them -- is to bring your accounts into a current status. Many creditors will be willing to assist you in this regard if they understand that you are seeking to have your accounts brought current in order to get a debt consolidation loan. Understanding your goals, these creditors will be willing to assist in this regard because they understand that they will be the ultimate beneficiaries of a low interest debt consolidation loan.

    When you consolidate bills, it is important to develop a good working budget. If you fail to create a realistic plan for allocating your income, you will again find yourself in financial trouble. You must determine how much you are prepared to spend on each expense and adjust your spending accordingly. A budget is crucial when consolidating bills.

    It is a good idea to begin making a budget to consolidate bills by keeping a spending journal for a month or two. Use a small spiral bound notebook that you can keep in your pocket or purse. Whenever you make a purchase, even if it's just a cup of coffee, write it down. Make sure you keep an accurate tally of the amount you spend and what you bought. This way you can see where you are spending your money. This will allow you to make a budget to consolidate bills that is reasonable and tailored specifically to you.

    When creating your bill consolidation budget, make a list of all of your current bills. Don't forget things like cable, gas, groceries, and dry cleaning. These are things that sometimes get overlooked and can ruin your well laid plans. You should include all expenses that you currently have, the amounts that are due monthly, and when they are due. This will give you a good picture of your current financial situation and where you could consolidate bills.

    Next, list your income. Compare the two and see where you can make any adjustments. If you buy your coffee every morning, it adds up. Try making it at home and taking a travel cup with you. Small expenses like that can really add up fast. Maybe you can get rid of your home phone and just use your cell phone, or cut back on the premium cable channels. There are lots of ways to consolidate bills, you just have to think creatively.

    Living within your means can mean making some sacrifices, but it is worth it to know that you are not struggling financially. There are lots of options available for you to consolidate bills in order to make a budget work. Be reasonable when creating your budget. If you are honest and realistic, you can create a budget that you are able to follow and will improve your financial health.

    Article Title: Be More Happy - Be More Organized

    For many people the feeling that they could be living their lives in a more organized and fulfilling manner builds a level of frustration that slowly starts to compel them into action. We are all faced with so many distractions these days, that so many of the basic chores of daily living get put to one side, only to bite us back at some point in the future. Tasks like basic home maintenance, keeping in touch with friends and relations, staying on top of our personal finances and keeping a clean and tidy home all seem rather mundane when compared to the latest technology trends, new entertainment possibilities and the lure of travel.

    The single most important piece of advice I can give is to maintain a sense of perspective of what really makes you happy and make time to do everything you need to get the best from your life in all areas. Owning the latest high tech gadget or seeing the newest movies will never make you really happy compared to having a sense of pride in your own home and maintaining a close circle of long term and trusted friends.

    So where do we start? I would suggest you make two lists. The first list should contain all those things that annoy you about your current lifestyle. We'll come back to examples of those in a moment. The second list should be the elements in your life that make you happy and contented. These could be things like spending enough quality time with your children, finding time to enjoy the outdoors, being responsible to the environment, being a reliable and helpful friend, eating a healthy diet, keeping a clean and tidy home. Just writing these things down will make many people stop and think, actually doing all those things would make me happier and give me more self respect. And then compare these things to owning the latest digital camera, mp3 player or newest fashion clothing - don't they seem rather insignificant now? Amazingly those items on your second list may not even cost you any money either.

    So back to the things that annoy you. Many of these can be classified as jobs or tasks you want to get done but never find the time. They just hang over you, day after day and burden you with the feeling that your life is uncontrolled and you are not making the best of your time. Here's another amazing fact - just taking some things off your "annoying" list can also bring you happiness and satisfaction, probably more than you would expect.

    Clearing the clutter from your spare rooms or your garage and disposing of it brings a great feeling of liberation. Out with the old, in with the new. Nothing can be as depressing as a house full of junk and rubbish, that prevents you from finding the things you need.

    Re-organizing your personal finances so that you are in control of your monthly household budget and know just how much money you have at all times. This feels good and can prevent you from getting into unwanted debt.

    Knowing that you have a plan for keeping your home in order in terms of repairs, improvements and general maintenance. Even making time to be able to work on your garden can be satisfying and creates a more enjoyable place for you to spend your free time.

    So how should you get going with all of this? Keep things simple and don't set unrealistic targets. I would suggest you start with those two lists and then tackle some of the junk and rubbish in your home. Hire a skip or arrange for a waste disposal firm to visit and then recycle or throw out all your unused clutter.

    Make you home a nicer place to be, then get to work spending more time doing things on your "happy" list, start taking things off your "annoying" list and then look forward to a more enjoyable daily life.
